The Tragic Tale of a Titan (Attack on Titan FanFic Story)

This is a fanfic story of my favorite anime, Attack on Titan! You can find it on Quotev here: https://www.quotev.com/story/8162918/The-Tragic-Tale-of-a-Titan-Attack-on-Titan-Story Please enjoy! Thanks!

Like flowers that are carelessly stepped on, the names of the soldiers that have been sent out to fight the Titans are often unknown. They simply become a statistic. Humanity is on its last legs and in dire need of some divine intervention. Like a bird that is unable to take flight without some assistance, mankind needs something to lift their spirits. If they just sit around wishing for something good to happen, there will be no effect. Someone has to do something about the situation that she's in, otherwise nothing will change. If someone has the motivation to fight, they have the power to make a change. People who laugh at others who move forward despite all the trials and tribulations; they are living inside the walls due to fear are like cattle. They’re livestock, sitting there waiting for the next Titan attack. They don’t fight back. These people are okay with that. They’re just complacent. These people think that they’re prospering inside the walls, protected by them. This is a false sense of security. They just don’t want to have to fight back, so they rely on the thought that they’re safe and prospering as a society. At least give the people the same respect others gives to dying animals. Let them have the freedom to fight back. No one will not force them to accept starvation. The horror and humiliation of the human race being trapped within the walls while the monsters hunt outside around the rest of the world is what motivates everyone to fight. How they desires freedom. That’s why she is going to take down the monsters of Titans! Determination is burning with an overflowing urge to kill, that will pierce the darkness of the monsters' oppression. Consumed with surging blood-lust; there was one that has the anger of not being free. Easily taken as their weapons and their blades strike the weak spot of the monster, even into the late hours of the night. For a hunter has no need for rest when the prey is upon them.

The story begins with a girl. A delicate, tragic and beautiful girl. Long, untidy hair that was black as night. She wore a white dress long enough to reach her knees and wearing no shoes. Her name is Rose Tucker. She is tragic, tortured and misunderstood. As a young girl; Rose was lonely, shy and timid around others as she had no confidence. A fractured young soul, in need of support and love. But when she was abused and tortured; she became a cold-blooded killer to the wicked. She turned homicidal, sadistic, and destructive nature to those that hurt her. When Rose was a child; she lost her father when she was a child and her cruel mother Theresa remarried to a depraved, dominant, and oppressive man that became her stepfather name Signar. Signar used to chain Rose up, as instructed by Marianne who was fanatically pious, she speaks with religious overtones but her motives were malevolent and believed everything in the world was considered 'unclean'. She wore a dark grey ceremonial dress and headdress with white roses, crucifixes, and wore no shoes but rather slippers. Signar was a presumed as a fanatic pious man that was a ruse to her in order not to be abused by her. He is a malicious, and aggressive man with overtones of conniving, cruel, and verbally abuses Rose and tormenting her. Theresa was aware of the abuse however she didn't do anything as she wanted her daughter to be 'cleansed of sin'. Signar was hungry for admiration, power, obedience and chivalric honor. When Signar was told to chain up Rose, he seemed to have a sadistic side as he was delighted to be alone with her. "You think you can hurt me, I don't think you can escape with those chains Little Lady." said Signar. Rose glares up at her stepfather, "Chains are nothing, I've been abused before. It's no big." She insisted. Signar pulled out a syringe and smiled in a sinister way as he said, "That's nothing, compared what I'm going to do to you." Rose looked horrified as her screams were the only thing that echoed in the house. Rose was now a 'monster', a Titan, where she was shunned by her mother sometimes when she became this way but Rose learns to control her power. She made friends with someone name Maya Adams and her younger sister Hope. Even their mother Alise who treated Justine very kindly. Maya, Hope, and Alize were shocked to learn what had happened with her life and her new life as a Titan Shifter but they want to report Theresa and Joseph for the abuse and trouble. Signar found out as he told Marianne, which they both plan to kill her. But while Rose was at school; she and her friends are given a shocking message that something was wrong at home. They hurried back home, Rose enters the house but is stunt to find their mother struggling against Theresa. She looks to see her children, “Everything’s going to be OK. Just don’t look.” “Mother!” Hope cried but Marianne stabbed a knife into the girls’ mother, who gasped while Marianne panted as she looked content at the deed had been done. Maya and Hope was motionless, frozen, their mother was lifeless now as she bled to death. They were pulled away by Rose, who took the grenade, pulled the pin, and threw it at the wall. Rose felt so guilty for not saving their mother, which was the most unsettling mental wound. She would do anything to pay them back one day. However in a few years when they were young teens; Maya and Hope offered to go after Marianne and Signar, Rose refused however Hope begs so Rose decided to trust her to go. That was a tragedy she'd never forget. She reached over where Marianne and Signar, they were gone but a body was among them. It was Maya as well as Hope, who died earlier before her sister did. They were on the ground, bleed profusely. Rose couldn't believe it, "Maya! Hope!" She cried, rushing over to them. She grasped onto Maya's hand, "Come on. Stay with me, you will be fine....I'll get you a doctor soon enough." Rose said. Maya opened her eyes, he smiled. "I'm sorry. I thought...I thought I was doing you a favor." She said. Rose trembled, "Yes. You were." She said. "That's good. We love you, you are our best friend." whispered Maya. She closed her eyes, and with that, she died. Rose couldn't believe it, she bowed her head. He was gone, they both were, and her best friends were dead. Upset, Rose confronted Signar. They fought off against each other. But Rose got the best of him; Signar was pinned to the ground. "This is the end for you." said Rose with a menacing tone. "You weren't so sure of yourself? Well, it won't be peaceful for you for long." taunted Signar, "You are nothing, and you couldn't be strong enough to save your peers in that massacre. You couldn't save your dearest friends or their sweet mother when your mother killed her!" Rose shuttered, she couldn't believe it and she lost control of herself. She begins to turn into a Titan and killed him violently while screaming hysterically. When she snapped out of it, Rose was shocked as she saw that her hands were dripping with blood. She begins to cry uncontrollably, she thought she lose consciousness. In the meantime of the current era; The Scouts were patrolling in the city. Slaying Titans, left and right--the whole battlefield was crazy! "There's too many of them, sir!" Eren called. "Keep pushing a little more, only three percent remains." Commander Erwin instructed. "Yes sir, we're almost there!" hollered Armin. He turned to Eren and said, "Hang in there, Eren. We're almost there." Eren nodded, he can't give up now--fighting to survive, push and push. No matter what, never surrender. Run, fight, for the sake of survival here and now! Never stopping, panting out of breath but he did not ceased until the Titans are all slaughtered.

However, there was one where she was stronger and toughness. Her irises were red of an inflamed rage and her hair was white as snow as well as her skin complexion. She used her bloody, wraithlike hands to take out the other Titans without remorse. She is chased by the soldiers as they sprung a trap on her; kidnapping the Female Titan. Later, this female Titan's wrists were bound over her head as the Scouts kept watch over her. Captain Levi glared down at her, "Well hello. Anybody there? I know you can hear my voice. Tell us who you are and maybe we can spare you mercy--If you are willing to cooperate." He said. The Titan Girl glared back at him but didn't reply. Levi looked over at the Titan, she was so innocent with blood splattered among her. Red and white contrast with one another, this Titan was among rage and pure at the same time. She looked so angry and also hiding her emotions so much. "You think any of us don't know who are. By the time their done with you, I can't wait to see you burn like a witch tied to a stake. Now, I'm going to ask you this one more time--Who. Are. You?" demanded Levi. The Female Titan was quiet and responded in a creepy yet ethereal voice so inhuman and so beautiful that it was chilling too. "I can't explain myself, Captain. You see, I'm not myself. But who cares for you anyway, you are nothing." Then she opened her mouth as it looked unhinged and let out a diabolic cry from her maw and Titans came as they free the creature lady while trying to ambush the Survey Corps, who overpower them. This feminine but insane Titan was running away and vanished from sight! Rose turn back to normal as she got away from the body but she managed to reach a town full of Titans eating people! "What is this place? Oh god...!" gasped Rose. She couldn't believe this, it was a nightmare. Destruction, Titans was scattered. Rose was shocked to see a monster confronting her. Then Rose could feel their instincts. "No, I won’t let you eat me!!!!" said Rose to the monster. She flexed her hand and let out a roar to kill this monster. The monster convulsed, it twisted, and then finally; it exploded! There was a mass of beige substances splattered all over her! Rose was stunt for a while before a grin broke over her face. She giggled to herself, "I did it! I--I really did it! I can't believe it! I just nobody saw--" She turns around as her smile faded. "--That."What she saw was a 15 year old boy, the same age as her. Rose slowly smiled kindly, "Hello there---" she greeted but the boy lunged at her, "AAAAHHHH!" He cried. The boy begin to claw at her like a wild man. Trying to punch her but Rose restrained the boy. "Hey! Hey!" She protested, the boy did not yield. "Stop! Calm down! Will you stop?! I am not going to hurt you!" Rose held the boy's fists away from her. "Who are you?!" The boy demanded. "My name is Rose Tucker. I swear, I will not hurt you. Here, I am not going to hurt--" She reaches over to touch his face but the boy recoiled away. "Get away, no! Don't you dare--Don't--" But he managed to calm down. "Did you seriously kill that Titan?" asked the boy, softly. “I guess so.” Rose replied. She seemed embarrassed and scared but she didn’t know how to talk to people that much. Just then, a voice called out. "Eren! Where are you?" Another boy in the same uniform as the other guy's was standing there. He looked young, quite a fetching fellow. "Nobody!" Eren called, he turned back to Rose fiercely. "Listen, you have to get out of here now!" He demanded. "Why? I can help!" Rose persisted. "No, you--" Eren started to say but the boy calls back: "Heyoka, who is that?" "No one!" Eren snapped. He turned to Rose with pleading eyes. "Please, get out now!" He begged. "I can help. Please--" Rose insisted, but the golden haired boy appeared, "Eren? Who is this?" He asked. Eris smiled and held out her hand, "Rose Tucker. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said. The boy was stunt, he shook her hand though. "I'm Armin Arlert." He said. A girl with black hair appeared, wearing the same uniform as Eren and Armin, it was Mikasa Ackerman. "Boys, who is this girl?" She asked in a voice so soft but full of curiosity. "Who are you? A witch?" Mikasa asked. "I am no witch, I am an ally and I came to help." Rose said. "No, she's--" Eren started to say, but the girl stopped him. "Wait a minute, Eren. This girl may able to help." She said, coming to Rose's rescue. Rose explain everything and so; Eren, Mikasa and Armin let Rose come along! They team up to take down the Titans and brought her back to the Scouts where Rose got to meet the Commander. A few minutes later, Commander Erwin & Captain Levi are seen talking to Rose who was seated and looking rather shy. "Let me see if I heard you right, you are trying to tell me you took on a Titan with just a flex of your hand and letting out a powerful yell. You didn't even touch it, am I correct?" asked the commander. Rose nodded. "Yes sir." She said. "That thing wanted to eat me...And I didn't, I didn't want to die so I had no choice but...Is that a problem?" The commander shook his head, "No. Not at all. I think you did it to survive and I must say I am impressed." He admitted. "Can I say something?" said Levi, "I like to see some proof of your power." Rose looked at him with disbelief, "Right now?" She asked. Levi nodded, "Yes." He said. Rose stood up hesitantly as she said slowly, "OK..." Rose straightened herself together, she rolled her shoulders back and then she closed her eyes as she whispered, "...Here goes...." Concentrated; she was about to summon this power but the distraction of the door bursting open made her lose concentration. A soldier's voice called out, "Commander Smith, I apolo--" Rose spun to him to glare however her rage accidentally sent the man backwards, "Ahhhh!" He cried. "No!" Rose screeched, she ran and save the soldier, who was shocked over what just happened. "Do not tell anyone." begged Rose. The soldier was so frightened that he couldn't speak; he was speechless so Adam came to him and said, "I would advise you not to speak of what you saw to anyone. I believe this 'witch' you would try to accuse will not be in this record." The soldier saluted, "Yes sir!" He said and off he went. It was silent for a moment before Levi spoke up, "I don't think this is good for her to use this power. She shouldn't use it." Rose looked at him with surprise, "What--?" She asked. But lucky for her, the commander came to the rescue: "She needs practice, that's all. A little encouragement." He said. Levi looked at him, then he thought about it. "True...." Captain Levi admitted. Later; Rose trained with the others and became part of the Scouts.

Commander Erwin’s words echoed in her head. At least give the people the same respect Rose gives to dying animals. Let them have the freedom to fight back. She will not force them to accept starvation. The horror and humiliation of the human race being trapped within the walls while the monsters hunt outside around the rest of the world is what motivates Rose to fight. Her desires freedom. That’s why she is going to take down the monsters of Titans! Her determination is burning with an overflowing urge to kill, that will pierce the darkness of the monsters' oppression. Consumed with surging blood-lust; Rose has the anger of not being free. Easily taken as their weapons and their blades strike the weak spot of the monster, even into the late hours of the night. For a hunter has no need for rest when the prey is upon them. "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of monsters." She’s very nervous or excited that she can feel her fast paced heart. Upon meeting Eren; Rose is afraid of changing her ways, so she’s frozen, unable to do anything! She wants him to let her free, anything that traps a person, and from which they’d like to escape. She is calling for Eren or his friends to save her from the place where the world stays the same, and back into a changed world. The clockwork is all she knows as she has nothing to make her feel alive. If she could speak to them then maybe she would feel livelier. She wants her prison to not only be shattered, but erased, so she can forget about it as she reconnects with the world. Rose is now reconsidering her actions. On one hand, she wants freedom. On the other, she wants to stay safe. She might be unhappy inside the glass, but at least she knows she’ll be okay. If she escapes, she might die outside. Rose slips out of her doubt. She doesn’t want to remain spinning, so she breaks the cycle. A voice in her mind asks her, "Do you feel like you aren’t enough on your own to accomplish anything? Don't be afraid to take risks, sometimes in life you don’t feel great. You lack confidence and self esteem. Quit your inner shyness and say what has to be said, and do what has to be done. You’re always more than you think. Get up and make a scene, just be big and live life! You learn a build upon failures to grow as a person." Rose made dumb mistakes that anyone she knows wouldn’t have done, she's sick of living life without the feeling of a deeper purpose. Tired of everyone telling her that she is nothing and shouldn't be able to live. Her friends and allies brings her out of the depth of the hallows. She’s not the person that she was weak and scared. They are the ones that remind her of the woman she is without her rage inducing powers. They care for her so much that they try to appease the situation by apologizing, but she’s the one that’s been doing wrong. It’s her fault for all this; all she can give them is a remorseful heart. Rose has made a bad mistake of what she done she should stick by living what people have told her for she is on the right track. Does the blood made her made her feel better? Even after what they have been through together, she still has the reason to protect the others. She promises to help them, and still even after everything she still does. He is blaming her self– Like when she was complaining that it was her own fault that she broke her own heart – So she understands of her own feelings. Rose is trying to start over, but with her vampire father still in her life, she cannot. He reminds her of something that he believes she is, instead of the woman that she wants to be! Her father was showing Rose what she is like to other people, and reforming her way of talking to people. With all of the mistakes she has made, Rose can’t be considered a role model amongst others. Rose has no excuses for her mistakes which is why she couldn’t cut it. She feels like there is no support from friends in her time of need. Rose wants somebody to help and go through a troubling time in her life. People will say that the state she’s in now will blow over shortly, but to her it’s more than that. She’s allowed to ask for help, she could use a bit of assistance. Its fine for her to want help because everyone is all humans––They make mistakes and need support. No matter what mistakes people do, Rose got to remember that all humanity are only humans and are not perfect. When crying in a state of anxiety, most people feel like they’re unable to breathe properly. It becomes heavier and in turn harder to breathe.
