A Peculiar Theory

There is a new world coming, just around the bend and it is a peculiar one. See the theories on this page and enjoy! Thank you!

Jacob is the Only Sane Man: Despite being a Peculiar child and the narrator, Jacob is the only 'normal' looking boy and has an extraordinary gift; Jacob seems to be the one when there is a group of characters who are all just totally weird, either in general or in a particular scenario, and Jacob as the Only Sane Man is the only one who, well, isn't too strange but then again once he accepts his powers, he's not the 'sanest' person amongst the Peculiar Children,

Hollowgasts linked to Bleach's Hollows: In the Bleach universe, a hollow is a monstrous spirit that is reduced to madly feeding on other souls after it was overwhelmed by its negative emotions or forcibly converted by other hollows. All hollows have masks attached to their faces and a hollow hole somewhere on their bodies; they also have a tendency to attack those who were close to them in their human lives, which they superficially have no recollection of. Like all spirit beings, hollows possess individual “spirit energy” (also called reiatsu or reishi),which they increase the level of through their devouring of souls. In Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, there are Hollowgasts. There are wights evolved form of a Hollowgast after it has consumed enough peculiar souls. They work for the hollowgasts, aiding in their transformation into wights by hunting down peculiars for them to feed on. Could Miss Peregrine and Peculiar Kids might have a chance to meet Ichigo and friends? Who knows!

The Peculiar Children were Born from Circus Freaks: A freak show is an exhibition of biological rarities, referred to as "freaks of nature". Typical features would be physically unusual humans, such as those uncommonly large or small, those with both male and female secondary sexual characteristics, people with other extraordinary diseases and conditions, and performances that are expected to be shocking to the viewers. Heavily tattooed or pierced people have sometimes been seen in freak shows, as have attention-getting physical performers such as fire-eating and sword-swallowing acts. Some of these children could be born from circus freaks and some circus freaks could be abusive while others could possibly couldn't afford their child to be killed or mistreated so they are given up to adoption or abandoned.

Miss Peregrine is Maleficent: As a beautiful young woman of pure heart, Maleficent has an idyllic life in a forest kingdom. When an invading army threatens the land, Maleficent rises up to become its fiercest protector. However, a terrible betrayal hardens her heart and twists her into a creature bent on revenge. She engages in an epic battle with the invading king's successor, then curses his newborn daughter, Aurora -- realizing only later that the child holds the key to peace in the kingdom. In the ending, Maleficent got her wings and is happier than she was before but could it be that she uses a pseudonym and wants to establish a positive atmosphere? Who knows!

Miss Peregrine and the Peculiar Children are the X Men: The X-Men are a fictional team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-writer Jack Kirby, the characters first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963). They are among the most recognizable and successful intellectual properties of Marvel Comics, appearing in numerous books, television shows, films, and video games. The X-Men are mutants, a subspecies of humans who are born with superhuman abilities. The X-Men fight for peace and equality between normal humans and mutants in a world where antimutant bigotry is fierce and widespread. They are led by Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X, a powerful mutant telepath who can control and read minds. Their archenemy is Magneto, a powerful mutant with the ability to generate and control magnetic fields. Professor X and Magneto have opposing views and philosophies regarding the relationship between mutants and humans. While Professor X works towards peace and understanding between mutants and humans, Magneto views humans as a threat and believes in taking an aggressive approach against them, though he has found himself working alongside the X-Men from time to time. Professor X is the founder of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters at a location commonly called the X-Mansion, which recruits mutants from around the world. Located in Westchester County, New York, the X-Mansion is the home and training site of the X-Men. The founding five members of the X-Men who appear in The X-Men #1 (September 1963) are Angel (Archangel), Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Marvel Girl (Jean Grey); Professor X and Magneto also make their first appearances in The X-Men #1. Since then, dozens of mutants from various countries and diverse backgrounds have held membership as X-Men. After seeing the movie trailer, people are now comparing Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children to X Men. Maybe Miss Peregrine is Professor X while her home is almost like a school.

Movie Version of Emma Bloom is the Love Child of Big Fish's Edward Bloom: When Edward Bloom becomes ill, his son, William, travels to be with him. William has a strained relationship with Edward because his father has always told exaggerated stories about his life, and William thinks he's never really told the truth. Even on his deathbed, Edward recounts fantastical anecdotes. When William, who is a journalist, starts to investigate his father's tales, he begins to understand the man and his penchant for storytelling. Emma's last name could be linked to Edward and she could be either the orphaned daughter of Edward or she was a long lost relative of his. The possibilities are endless!

Movie Version of Emma Bloom is Peter Pan: Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie. A mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, Native Americans, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland. In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a variety of media and merchandise, both adapting and expanding on Barrie's works. These include a 1953 animated film, a 2003 dramatic/live-action film, a TV series and many other works. The movie version of Emma Bloom could be similar to Peter Pan because she can fly however there is some differences to these circumstances. She needs to have a rope tied around her so she won't fly away.

Novel Version of Emma Bloom is the Love Child of the Human Torch: The Human Torch is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a founding member of the Fantastic Four. A similar, unrelated character of the same name and powers was created in 1939 by writer-artist Carl Burgos for Marvel Comics' predecessor company, Timely Comics. Like the rest of the Fantastic Four, Jonathan "Johnny" Storm gained his powers on a spacecraft bombarded by cosmic rays. He can engulf his entire body in flames, fly, absorb fire harmlessly into his own body, and control any nearby fire by sheer force of will. "Flame on!" which the Torch customarily shouts when activating his full-body flame effect, has become his catchphrase. Perhaps Emma Bloom is an ancestor to Johnny. Perhaps.

Novel Version of Emma Bloom is related to Firestarter's Charlie: Firestarter is based on Stephen King's book. As youths, Andy McGee and his future wife, Vicky, participated in secret experiments, allowing themselves to be subjected to mysterious medical tests. Years later, the couple's daughter, Charlie begins to exhibit the ability of setting fires solely with her mind. This volatile talent makes the youngster extremely dangerous and soon she becomes a target for the enigmatic agency known as "The Shop." Due to her temper and fire powers in the book, Emma and Charlie could be related in some way.
