This is Katherine's foreword as she works hard on the anime crossover as she works hard on making it real and not a fanfiction, please enjoy! --KatDon 

Katherine is working on the anime crossover, Phenomenon Serendipity and has other things inside her head of the ideas: Briar then woke up in a different city that was huge that she discovered that was called Dopple Walker City. That’s when Briar noticed a building of a glass-like building that was taller and noticeable. She was curious so much that she didn't watch where she was going, Briar slammed into someone! "Oh hey--" She started to say but she saw that it was an orange haired boy who has light skin and leaned muscular figure built. He wore black attire. "Hi." Briar said, surprised. "I'm sorry, I didn't know where I was going, and I apologize!" Although the guy looked cool-headed, he nodded. "It's fine." He answered. Briar is touched by his smile, he sure was nice. "Are you OK?" asked the guy. "Uh, yeah." said Briar quickly. "What's your name?" asked the young man. "My name is Briar." answered Briar. "I'm Ichigo, Ichigo Kurosaki." said the young man. Briar nodded, "Do tell, Ichigo. Are you what they call a Soul Reaper?" She asked. Ichigo looked at her with surprise, "How--How did you know?" He asked. Briar looked over at him and said with a smile, "I don't know. I guess my mind can read your mind." She replied. Ichigo looked at her with dazed amazement, "OK. Let's find out where we are." He finally said. Briar seemed intrigued, "'We'? As in us? Together?" She asked. "I like to get to know you, Ichigo. I really do." Ichigo smiled back and they both journeyed into the unknown. Meanwhile; a young man who is around 18 years old with pink hair and was pretty feisty looking. His name is Natsu Dragneel. Next to him was his cat—Exceed—name Happy with him. “Happy?” Natsu said. “Yeah Natsu?” Happy inquired. “I don’t think we’re in Fairy Tail anymore.” Stated Natsu. “Aye. We most definitely are not in Fairy Tail anymore.” Agreed the blue Exceed. That’s when Natsu stopped for a moment, "Wait, did you hear something?" He said. Happy turned to him, "What? You hear something?" He asked. Natsu nodded, "Yeah, something's coming..." He said. A sword was swinging around and a black hair guy in uniform as well as swords which is the hot headed Rin Okumura! "What the--?" Natsu said. "Look out!" Happy exclaimed as he and Natsu dodged him, however a fight breaks out until finally, a voice cries out: "Hold it!" They all stopped when they saw Briar and Ichigo. "What are you guys doing?" Briar asked. Rin looked at them, "Who are you guys?" He asked. "I'm Briar Devlin and this is my acquaintance, Ichigo Kurosaki." introduced Briar, gesturing towards Ichigo next to him. Natsu cocked his head, "What a couple of freaks doing here?" He remarked. Ichigo and Rin t urned to him as they glared at Natsu: "WHO ARE YOU CALLIN’ A FREAK?!" The fight breaks out; Happy got out of the way. He went towards Briar who are stared at everyone fighting and rolled her eyes up to the ceiling, and then she flexed out her hand and yelled, "SHUT UP!!!" The others were lifted from the ground, Briar couldn't believe that she was the only doing this. Then she drops them down safely, she sighed and smiled. "Now, tell me....who's a freak?" asked Briar with a witty look on her face. The others stared up in amazement, "Ohhhh...." They chorused. “Aye…” Happy agreed. One minute later; Ichigo,Natsu, Happy, and Rin were standing up like soldiers. Briar paced left and right from them. "Listen up!" She said to them. "We come from different places of our homes, and brought here for an unknown reason. So, If we're going to find some answers, we need to ventured to the unknown and find this person responsible for this; we must put our colors--our personalities aside--and become one....Any questions?" Natsu raised his hand, "Ma'm, I have one." He said in a loud tone. Briar turned to him, "Yes Dragneel?" She asked. Natsu then talked normally, "Um...Exactly where do we start?" Briar nodded, thinking about that. "Ah, that's a very good question my friend." She turned to the horizon of the city, pointing over to a building. "You see that building over there? This building stands out than the rest of them, it has stained glass windows. I'm curious to know what's in there." And so they set off to their journey! Briar wasn't the only one, the other girls found friendships and heading to that strange building too; Chloe and her new friends are awesome too because they saved her life, these people were: Renji, Chad, Gajeel, and Yukio Okumura. Randi met some girls that started off in fights with one another however she accidentally reveals her nymph hybrid form, which amazes them. The girls she befriends them are Rukia, Orihime, Lucy, Erza and Shiemi. Maggie & Bella Venetia ‘B.V.’ meet some people who were belligerent but stand for justice and this army: Kenpachi and Squad 11, Sting Eucliffe, Rogue Cheney, Lector, Frosch, Yukino, Rufus, Orga, Minerva Orlando, Dobengal, Ryuji ‘Bon’ and Konekomaru. Even Tilda's group is a bunch of strange folks however they are a bunch of badass warriors that seem to suit her: Gray Fullbuster, Juvia, Lyon, Lamia Scale, Izumi, Paku, and Captain Hitsugaya. And Marina's posse is charming, beautiful of people: Blue Pegasus of the Trimens, Ichiya Nichiya, and Jenny.

Deep within the new world mission; there is a circus where ring leader name Hirato. He is assisted by Tsukumo, Eva and Yogi as they are known as Second Ship. Then, we got the First Ship with Tsukitachi, Kichi, and Jiki. The only way out of this madness is the guidance and protection by a childlike boy name Nai. And his big brother type friend name Gareki. While watching the urban horror show; The Infestations creep in and made their attack. The others thought it was part of the fun but when the brutal murders are shown, screams are heard. Briar is shocked by this. But she's not the only one; Chloe and Randi are stunt by all of this as well. Not sure what to do; Briar turned to Solo, "Solo?" She asked with anxiousness. Solo smiled and nodded, "Go crazy." With an excited grin, Briar ready to spring: "All right, let's get dangerous!" She jumps and heads over to fight the Infestations. At the same time; Chloe smiled with excitement. "Yes, it's go time!" She said. Maggie, BV, Marina, and Randi also joined the party! Tilda smiled, she ran her fingers through her hair. She then said before she jumped, "Going turbo!" The three girls saved the ‘circus people’ from the monsters: Briar pounced and wrestled one of the Infestations. Once the Infestations were dealt with, the people were awed before they showed their gratitude. But then she felt someone hugging her. She looked to see Nai was the one hugging her, "Yes! You saved Circus. We owe you one." said the boy. Briar is embarrassed, she never wanted this kind of attention but it was nice for the appreciation. Her walkie talkie radio squawked, "Retreat, retreat, we have to get back!" Solo was saying. "Oh man." muttered Briar. She turned to everyone and said, "Sorry. Gotta jet." There was a moment of silence with astounded expressions on each of the cast of Circus members. "Who were those girls?" Nai asked. "I have no idea." Gareki admitted. The next day, at the Carnival, it had all the fun rides. There were people screaming on the roller coaster. People on the merry-go round, there was fun in the air. Food of cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, and prizes. Briar and the others look around with dubious expressions on their faces. "Is this place too saccharine?" asked Maggie, looking around. "Ugh, the atmosphere.  It makes me nauseous." groaned BV with disgust. "Yeah, that whole 'taste like diabetes' scenario makes me feel like a crap sack world is underneath this honeyed place." Randi agreed. "I wonder if this is something that I dreamed...." Chloe saw something that caught her eye and took Briar by the hand. "Wait, what are those?" She asked, pointing over to the stand where it had mesmerizing jewelry. They seem to glisten of rainbow, absolutely far-fetching. "Now these are a price worth seeing." Briar remarked. They walk over there and took a look at this. Chloe is quite fascinated in this. "Beautiful...." She mumbled. "They are." A childlike voice spoke up. Briar and Chloe turned to see a young boy with fair hair. He beamed as a cheerful child would; he wore something that a young boy would wear. Briar seemed at ease, "They are gorgeous." She said. The girl name Tsukumo nodded, "Thank you." said the girl. For the time being, Tilda looked around to see the colors in the air as she danced around, feeling magic in the air of how beautiful this place. However, she was daydreaming so much that she didn't watch where she was going. Because she bumped into someone else: "Aaah!" The person said. 

"Yipe!" She yelped. Tilda and the other person stumbled down as she cries, "Good Lor--Whoa!" Down, down they went but Tilda uses her water powers to save her and the person she is tumbling with. "Hey, pal! What the hell?" Tilda demanded. "Sorry about that." The person said. He was a good looking guy, Tilda felt like a jerk to this totally attractive guy with glasses, which he was adjusting. "Hello...It's OK. I'm fine, it's no big deal." Tilda apologized. "You serious?" asked the guy. "Yeah, my bad. And I'm dead serious." confirmed Tilda. "Fascinating." The guy complimented. Tilda smiled, the guy realized he forgot to introduced himself. "Oh, sorry. Jiki." He introduced. Tilda shake his hand, "Tilda Oxford." She said. Meanwhile Briar was exploring the places of the fair when she accidentally ran into someone, it was Nai again. "Oh, I remember you!" Nai said with delight. Briar is shocked, "Um...Hi." She said. "What are you doing here?" He asked happily. "Uh, enjoying the fair?" answered Briar in a questioning tone. Nai hugged her, "I'm glad you're OK." He said, he pulls Briar to meet the others and invites her to be part of tonight's show. Briar tried to refuse however Solo made a telepathic connection, "It's all right, Brie. Make the boy happy." And so she accepts. But Gareki doesn't seem to trust Briar. At tonight's show, Nai and Briar are performing about two friends sadly departing from one another but Nai added some lines. "Well, how about you join....Circus!" exclaimed Nai. The crowd gasps in delight, Briar look stunt. "Join Circus?" She asked. Nai sounded excited. "Yeah!" He squealed. Briar wasn't amused, "I'm sorry, why do you want me--Wait, you mean..." She said. Briar is shocked, she read Nai's mind. He was serious! "Yeah, I mean. You may be new to these parts but we can help you out." Nai explained. "You guys?" Briar asked. "It sounds like fun, we can teach all the tricks and the trades...." Nai started to ranted but Briar begin to cut in. "Whoa, whoa. Slow down. I am not joining Circus, I'm sorry. I can't!" She said. Nai looked stunt, "What do you mean?" He asked with timidness. Briar looked at the crowd who looked complex. Then back to Nai and whispered, "May I talk to you? Off stage?" She looked pleading. "No, you can tell me to the crowd." Nai said, gesturing towards the people. Briar sighed, "All right, you can't ask a stranger you don't know to join." She admitted. "You're not a stranger, you are my friend!" Nai protested. "What do you know about friendship?" Briar asked. Nai looked down, "I know that you and I have a great friendship. You don't have to be scared." He pleaded. Briar cannot drag him into her life like this. "I--No, it will never work out. I'm sorry, Nai." She said. She turned to the crowd." Everyone much obliged for coming. But, alas, The show is over." And turned on her heels and walked. Nai watched her, "What? Wait, Briar!" He grasped her hand. Briar tried to wriggle her away, but the boy wouldn't let go. "Nai, please let go of me!" She said. "Briar, please! I know you don't want to but I can help you." begged Nai with innocent eyes looking at him. Briar looked at him sadly, "You can't...." She said. She gingerly pry his fingers away and walks off. Nai is stunt, he felt tears in his eyes. "What did I do to you?" He cried. "Stop it, Nai." Briar said, in a nervous tone. Nai runs after her, "No, no more hiding. What is the matter? I want to be your friend but you have to tell me." He exclaimed, still trying to understand her. Briar turned around fiercely, "NO!" She cried. But she accidentally loses control. Her powers made Nai fall backwards but he wasn't hurt. He looked up at Briar but it's not fear that crosses his face, "Brie...Your powers....are real...." He whispered. Briar shakes her head and fled. She fled from Circus as fast as her legs could take her, Nai calls out Briar's name however she couldn't face him. She just couldn't. She was so ashamed. She ran off and flew off however Nai didn't stop there, he wanted to go after her and convince her that he wasn't afraid of her. Gareki was angry that he wants to kill Briar however Chloe won't let him do that. The three of them heads out, while Maggie and BV heads after with Yogi in between them as Marina stayed with a pink colored hair doctor name Akari. Tilda runs her fingers through her hair as her ice-water powers are revealed to Tsukitachi, Kichi, and Jiki who watch with wide eyes at this. Tilda looked at their gaping faces and grinned before she sped away with a trail of ice behind her. Jiki was shocked but smiled, "Well, well. I knew something about her seemed special." He muttered. Tsukitachi, Kichi and Jiki followed the ice trail where Tilda was discovered creating a tower made from water however she froze the tower after she molded it together. Tilda enter inside and did some re-decorating and create an ice piano where she was playing the piano while singing. But then she senses Tsukitachi and the other two while she managed to catch them by frozen their feet. “So, care to tell me why are you stalking me?” Tilda asked, she smiled down at them. “I don’t blame you but hey, here to talk about what you saw in me. I can relate.” Tsukitachi responded with a chuckle, “If you unbound us from the ice, maybe we can talk.” He offered. Tilda accepted with the request and melt the bounds while they are now able to talk to him. In the meantime; Nai finally found Briar, who was sitting by the creek. "Hey Brie. Are you OK?" He asked. "Hi Nai." said Briar sadly, not looking at him. "Please, don't blame yourself. I'm not hurt, see?" Nai said. "I could've killed you." replied Briar, her eyes squeezed shut. "I know, but you didn't. But please, open your heart and allow me to come in. I wanna help you but you need to invite me in. Control this power; I know we can work together on this." Nai said with hope. Briar turned to him frantically, "How Nai? What ability to help me? Help me control my powers when I can't figure it out myself?" She demanded. Nai didn't know what to say, "I--I don't know. I just want to help you...I'm not leaving my friend." He protested desperately. Gareki arrived with Chloe behind him, he was angry that Briar harmed Nai. Nai tried to stop him, talking to him that Briar didn't mean it. Just then, there was a glow coming from her. There was a woman by the name of Brynhilde who reveals herself to be reincarnated into Briar as well as other Valkyries and told Nai and Gareki everything. Briar reveals to be an agent and recruits them both as the rest of Cricus was recruited into the organization of Evermore! Not long after, Briar went on another mission to another world but no one expected what came before them. It was hell; it had always been to hell. "What is this place? Oh god...!" gasped Briar. Her gang observes this as they couldn't believe this was such a nightmare. Destruction, like the apocalypse with giants. What kind of world was this? Maggie was panicking and freaking out as she begins to lose her mind a little by the shock she was seeing of this place. Briar and the others were shocked to see a monster confronting her. Then Briar could hear its thoughts. "You--you want to eat me? No, I won’t let you!" said Briar to the monster. She flexed her hand and uses her telekinesis to kill this monster. The monster convulsed, it twisted, and then finally; it exploded! There was a mass of beige substances splattered all over her! Briar was stunt for a while before a grin broke over her face. She giggled to herself, "I did it! Ew....I really did it! I can't believe it! I just hope nobody saw--" She turns around as her smile faded. "--That."What she saw was a 15 year old boy. Dark brown hair. Teal eyes. Light tanned skin. He was a teenage soldier, who looked horrified at Briar. He saw it, he saw her kill that beast. "Oh crap." Briar thought. "Busted! How do I get myself out of this?" She slowly smiled kindly, "Hello there---" she greeted but the boy lunged at her, "AAAAHHHH!" He cried. The boy begins to claw at her like a wild man. Trying to punch her but Briar restrained the boy. "Hey! Hey!" She protested, the boy did not yield. "Stop! Cease! Take it easy! Will you stop?! I am not going to hurt you!" Briar held the boy's fists away from her. "Who are you?!" The boy demanded. "My name is Briar Devlin. I swear, I will not hurt you. Here, I am not going to hurt--" She reaches over to touch his face but the boy recoiled away. "Get away, no! Don't you dare--Don't--" But he was helpless, Briar was calm as she stroke her hand on his face. At once, Briar could read his mind, know his name. But not completely of a lot. "Did you seriously kill that Titan?" asked the boy, softly. Briar did a double take. "That's a Titan?" She asked in disbelief. The boy looked at her with amazement, "You never saw one before?" he asked. "I heard of them…but in all honesty, I didn't know that was an actual Titan!" Briar pointed out. Just then, a voice called out. "Eren! Who are you talking to?" Another boy in the same uniform as the other guy's was standing there. He looked young, quite a fetching fellow. "Nobody!" Eren called, he turned back to Briar fiercely. "Listen, you gotta get out of here now!" He demanded. "Why? I can help!" Briar persisted. "No, you--" Eren started to say but the boy calls back: "Eren, who is that?" "No one!" Eren snapped. He turned to Briar with pleading eyes. "Please, get out now!" He begged. "I can help. I can hear that your thoughts are disoriented so--" Briar insisted, but Eren stopped her out of shock. "What?" He gasped. "You--you--can read minds? You can hear my thoughts inside of your own head?" Eren was trembling out of fright. "Of course I can." Briar said, in a matter of fact tone. Eren was shaken out of fear. The blonde haired boy appeared, "Eren? Who is this?" He asked. Briar smiled and held out her hand, "Briar Devlin. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said. The boy was stunt, he shook her hand though. "I'm Armin Arlert." He said. A girl with short length hair appeared, wearing the same uniform as Eren and Armin. "Eren, Armin, who is this girl?" She asked in a voice so soft but full of curiosity. "Wow, this your girlfriend?" Briar asked, to Eren. Eren glared at her, "She's not my girlfriend!" He declared. "Who are you? A witch?" The girl asked. "I am no witch, I am an ally and I came to help." Briar said. "No, she's--" Eren started to say, but the girl stopped him. "Hold up, Eren. This girl may able to help." She said, coming to Briar's rescue. "Sh'yeah, I killed a Titan without touching it." Briar admitted. Armin and the girl were shocked. "How?!" They asked. "I have an ability where I can move obstacles or other things with my mental conscious." Briar explained. Armin and the girl looked at each other, they turned to Eren. "You know about this?" Armin asked. "Yeah, but she doesn't know what the military does here." Eren said. "Let her help, Eren. She can be of help to us." The girl said. Eren was irked but he agreed. Briar smiled with delight, "Thank you." She said. The girl turned to her, she stretched out her hand. Although her stern face remained unchanged; she sounded nicer. "I'm Mikasa Ackerman." She nodded. 

"I'm Briar Devlin…" Briar said but other Titans attacked as Briar, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin prepared for battle. They ran from them while battling. “Who are you? Why the hell did you come here?” screeched Eren. "Be careful, Eren Jaeger. Don't do anything reckless!" Briar called out. "How did you know my name?" Eren asked with shock. Busted! Briar turned away, "Later!" She shouted. The Titans were chasing after them. Briar thought craftily as she reached over to Jack, carried him into her arms and flied! Eren was amazed by this, "What? You can fly?" He asked. Mikasa and Armin watched in amazement but they followed the gliding Briar. "YOU! CAN! FLY!" Eren shouted, Briar smiled at him. Mikasa and Armin were amazed as well: "Oh..." Armin breathed. The two followed Briar and Eren to wherever they are going. In meantime; a stoned face captain and others cadets are under attack by the Infestations and Titans alike. But lately, they were struggling against them and things weren't going too well. That was about to change when someone looked up and saw something in the distance. "Look, up there!" One of the soldiers called. Immediately, the stoned face captain saw someone standing on a mountain top. It was Tilda, which she hollers: "Soldiers, heed my words, I am here to delivery you from the hands of the Infestations. Witness a miracle I will perform."  The others looked at each other with confusion, the stoned face captain watched what she can do. Tilda took a deep breath and flexed her hands out. She then said to herself, "Water....my friend...my partner...my world...my element...the only thing I ask for you...is for a little control." All of a sudden; to everyone was shocked to see a body of water in the sky. Then, the water came onto the Infestations and drowned them. Tilda then said to the water, "Water flowing through...." She chanted, ".....Freeze up when this spell is through." The water turns into a huge block of ice prison for the creatures. Then she glided down and kicked the ice block, which exploded in pieces. Tilda landed among the pieces, she saluted. "Tilda Oxford, reporting for duty." She announced. She beamed and then looked to see stoic-faced captain looking at her. "Captain Levi Ackerman. Nice to meet you." said the stoic faced guy. Another soldier, name Jean Kirstein, noticed Lola Nikita as he suddenly has pity for her. By her depressed look, she seemed sad. Marina came from the shadows to aid a startled female soldier, whose name is Historia Reiss, and comforted her, "Are you all right, Senorita?" asked Marina softly. Historia looked up and nodded, "Yeah. I'm shocked but I'm OK." Back with Briar; they managed to find a quiet, abandoned place and landed there. Briar let Eren go safely from her grasp."So, whatcha think?" Briar asked with a smile. Eren was speechless until he remembered what happened. "Arrrgghhh!!!!!!!" He shouted.  Eren charged at her with a blade but it smashed into a wall. "You're right, you're right. I was trying to show you--" Briar said quickly as possible. "You....You!"  Eren warned. "Right, sorry! Sorry!" Briar apologized."OK, OK, Take it easy." She claimed.  Eren nodded, "Are you an angel? A demon?" He asked. “Not at all, I just…I don’t know what I am but I can tell you one thing. I am no demon nor angel. I come in peace and came to know you—Eren Jaeger. Please, let me talk to the authorities and explain what’s going on.” Briar explained. At once; Eren lowered his weapon and nodded. “OK. I’ll trust you. But if you pull anything, I’ll kill you.” He said. Briar nods, obeying to his word but she fear of being hurt again. Mikasa and Armin came by, “Are you OK?” Mikasa asked. “I am now.” Eren said. Mikasa and Armin stared at Briar with curiosity. Wondering who she is. Briar, Eren, Chloe, Armin, Randi, and Mikasa walked back to the base of the camp where there were staring from the others. Eren looks at Briar, "Well, ask them if you want to talk to the 'authorities'." He whispered. Briar was nervous around these people, she cleared her throat and spoke up, "Hello there...Is there someone I can talk to? Please?" Just then, the commanding leader Hange Zoe appears before her. "I may be useful for any assistance." She said to her. A few minutes later, Hange & Levi are seen talking to Briar who was seated and looking rather shy. "Let me see if I heard you right, you are trying to tell me you took on a Titan with just your mind. You didn't even touch it, am I correct?" asked Hange Zoe. Briar nodded. "Yes ma'm." She said. "That thing wanted to eat me...And I didn't, I didn't want to die so I had no choice but...Is that a problem?" Hange shook her head, "No. Not at all. I think you did it to survive and I must say I am impressed." She admitted. "Can I say something?" said Levi, "I like to see some proof of your power." Briar looked at him with disbelief, "Right now?" She asked. Levi nodded, "Yes." He said. "Me and my big mouth." thought Briar. She stood up as she said slowly, "OK..." Briar straightened herself together, she rolled her shoulders back and then she closed her eyes as she whispered, "...Here goes...." Concentrated; she was about to summon this power but the distraction of the door bursting open made her lose concentration. A soldier's voice called out, "Commander Hange, I apolo--" Briar spun to him to glare however her telekinesis accidentally sent the man backwards, "Ahhhh!" He cried. "No!" Briar screeched, using her telekinesis to save the soldier, who was shocked over what just happened. "Do not tell anyone." begged Briar. The soldier was so frightened that he couldn't speak; he was speechless so Hange came to him and said, "I would advise you not to speak of what you saw to anyone. I believe this 'witch' you would try to accuse will not be in this record." Briar is relieved and is left off easily. While exploring in the forest, Briar saw Eren training but then she watched in horror as Eren turned into a Titan, “Oh dear Lord! He’s a Titan?” She thought. Titan Eren begin to do all sorts of combat moves in order to take down these savage, killer monsters. Briar hides behind a tree, watching him work hard at his skills. Once Eren was done, he changed back to normal but he fell unconscious. This is it, this was her chance to see inside his head and she rushed over there. Briar kneel down at the unconscious Eren, she placed her hands on the side of his face and begins to read his mind: In a flash; she saw it. His memories. More clear though. His mother’s death, the training of the soldiers, Eren getting eaten, in the belly of the beast, turning into a Titan and other tragic memories that were so emotional. "Eren...I don't want to hurt you, I just want to understand you. To feel better, to feel like I'm not the only one." Briar thought, talking to him in his thoughts. Suddenly, she felt a burst of pain through her. "What's happening? I feel--Augh! It hurts!" She said, gasping. Eren regained consciousness, he was shocked to see what was happening. "Oh no!" He thought. Briar begin to change into a Titan, she was unaware of what is going on but for the first time, she wanted to fight. She saw other Titans and she went after them fiercely. She lunged at them as she rescues lives like the other soldiers and kills them. As soon as she is done; the soldiers stared at her in fear. Titan Briar approached them and placed her claw-hand on Chloe. A few moments later; she was in astonishment. “Briar Devlin? Is that you?” asked Chloe. Briar transformed back to normal. She gasps as she fell unconscious to the ground. "Did Briar just--?" asked Connie. "How did she do that?" Maggie inquired. Erwin glanced at her body, his face was calm and relaxes but he looked concern at this mysterious girl. "Briar Devlin, what are you?" He thought. As Briar woke up, she realize everyone was looking at her in shock and she was helped by Eren, Jean and Armin. At that moment; Briar is in trouble as she encounters monsters but is saved by Eren and Jean. It wasn’t until Eren looked up and his eyes widened with terror. "LOOK OUT, BRIAR!" He cried. Too late, she is being held hostage by an Infestation. The Infestation looked over and gouged her heart out. "Nooo!!!!!!" cried Eren and Jean. The groups of Infestations were cackling with glee but they wouldn't laugh for long. Briar rise up, her eyes were hollow and black with red pupils. She had blood coming from the whole in her chest. Her appearance was different: There were her hair became red like mahogany, her clothes matched her hair and her face was vein-like cascading on the sides of her face. Eren couldn't believe this; she was rising as some sort of undead being who was slaughtering the creatures in order to get her heart back. And she did kill them all, she butchered them. She beheaded them, and then she made their limbs go numb so she can split them apart in a grisly way. Eren & Jean were shocked by this. They couldn't believe that someone like her would such things. Finally, Briar faced the lead monster, which it was holding her heart so she puts up a pretty good fight. She broke his legs and the heart went up, Briar caught it in her hand and placed it back in her chest. The hole in her chest closed up and she turned back to normal. Eren and Jean could only stare at her in amazement. Who was this girl? Whoever she was, she was nothing out of the ordinary. 

Then, Briar was brought before the authorities who question her and were brutal so Briar try to speak up but again she is told to be quiet! “If you ignore me you’ll be sorry.” Warned Briar. “Lady Briar, we advised you to shut your mouth!!!” The judge exclaimed. That’s when Briar lost her temper, “You better listen to what I say whether you people like it or not!” She exclaimed. Briar has her powers out of control as objects fell over and break while windows break too. Everyone in the court room is trembling, they muttered amongst themselves. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin managed to stay calm but they were in shock as well as Solo and the girls. “You people…You and your accusations…You dare to judge others as well as me by my appearance….How could you, I AM NOT A DISGRACE NOR SHOULD I BE TREATED LIKE I’M NOT PRESENT!!! SOMEONE OF MY FAMILY CAUSE ME AND MY MOTHER GREAT PAIN AND DISTRESS!!!! I’M TRYING TO MAKE GOOD!!!” She exclaimed, “I AM BRIAR DEVLIN—I AM MEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Her rage cause everyone to feat her when Levi stopped her and everyone were scared by the sight. Even the witnesses that spoke against her were filled with culpability and were shaken in their boots. So the judge decides to spar her! Briar was let go as she calms down, she stumbled towards Eren & the others before she passed out from emotional fatigue. In the morning; Briar was on a horse and she looked out at the forest path and looked back to see Commander Hange and the others. "You want me to gallop down this path? Are you sure?" asked Briar. "Just a warm up, just to see how much you improve on your skills." assured Commander Hange. Briar seemed anxious about this task, "I don't know if I'm up for this." She commented. Captain Levi came besides her, putting a hand on her shoulder, "You can do it, and you’re the best we got." He said. "Really?" asked Briar. She was trembling and then she brightens up, "OK. I'll do it!" She exclaimed. Briar took the reins and prepared herself. She closed her eyes for a moment but then opens them instantly. Pulling on the reins; Briar cried, "HI-YAH!" And she galloped down the path while the others ride behind her but Briar was much faster. She looked back to see they were still following her. She felt faint fear but mostly she felt excitement running through her body. Briar had never felt such adrenaline through her; she tilted her head back and spread her arms out. Briar was snapped back to reality by the sound of the horse neighing, it brought her back to earth and she managed to stop the horse. She panted and panted but she laid her head down on the back of the horse however she sat up when the others approached. Commander Hange nodded. The others were impressed with this girl's ability. Briar was so excited that she fist pumps the air and cheered, "Woo hoo!"

Later, another mission came upon Briar and the others so Brie was able to get her mind off her father and thus, the agents found themselves in an urban dimension different. 

While there; Briar and her friends, Chloe and Randi were laughing together when Chloe’s cell phone rings. She picks it up and answers it. Briar looked at the posters but then, she heard commotion as she saw Chloe walking into the street, still talking on her phone as a car is coming at her. "Oh shit!" Briar thought. She rushed over as she then thought to herself: "No, get away!" Briar called out her name, "CHLOE!" She pushed her friend out of the way as the car was edging close to Briar but stopped abruptly. People surround her as Briar had blood matted her face and hair. Everything went black but before she passes out, Briar could see a boy, another one, and a girl watching her. Their faces look gloomy and sad. The girl has tears streaming down her face. "What...why are they looking at me that way?" She thought and then, the darkness enveloped her. When she woke up; Briar saw Chloe and Randi as they managed to get her to somewhere safe however corrupted spirits while also getting separated. She was there when she heard voices in clouded area! "Oooh, she smells nice!" One of them said. "Come to us..." The second beckoned. The third laughed a little, "Poor girl, all alone. All alone.....Alone...." It taunted. Briar covered her ears and ran off. "Get away from me, you monsters!" She shouted. Then it happened; Yato, Hiyori, and Yukine were walking on the street when they heard a scream and saw Briar pushed a girl and then a car hit her. When they came close they saw her being lead away as her eyes widen & shivers shaking. It was one of the worst and most terrible scenes Yato had ever seen. He was really sad & worried. When he saw her, he had hoped that the monsters don't take her so she would be in a better place. As he first saw Briar getting the hit; Yukine was shocked & sad. He could almost feel the fear & pain that she was feeling when she was looking at. He didn't know what to do & he was feeling a familiar pain in his heart. Yukine was full of various feelings but what would he do when he sees it is her? Seeing her, Yato looking at her body on the ground she felt really sad and hoped she could have survive but it was too late. Hiyori couldn't help her and she felt tears on her cheek when Yato looked at her she saw the same look in his eyes. It was so hard and terrible. Briar woke up with a start! She looked around and realized that it was all a dream. That night, Briar was on the ground as she had to watch out what was happening. She cannot make a sound or any movement yet. She watched people from her corner from where she was! Waiting, waiting, and waiting. That's when she saw something that made her gasp in awe: It was that boy from the accident she suffered in! He ran over to the ghouls as he slays them with his thin sword called a katana, cut them in half and then he was approached by a familiar boy besides the dark haired guy. "YATO!!!!" A girl called out, approaching the boy as she talked to him a little. Briar could not believe it, then she saw ghouls about to pounce and then, Briar sprinted into action by using her powers! Yato realized who Briar was, “That’s the girl from before.” He said. Yukine and Hiyori looked at him in bewilderment. Finally, Briar stopped the corrupted spirits; the trio turned and stared at Briar with amazement. Briar cautiously steps towards them slowly as she assured them, "Don't be afraid, I will never hurt you." The dark haired boy asked, "Who are you?" Briar nods, "Briar Devlin." She replied. However the boy said to her, “Pleasure is mine, my name is Yato—the Delivery God.” He then offered his jersey jacket as he said, "You don't have to be scared, we'll protect you." Briar looked at the jacket as she said, "Oh, thanks?" The other boy, Yukine, rolled his eyes and looked at Yato with a glare: "You're offering that stinky, sweaty thing again?" He snapped. Yato looked exasperated as put his jacket back on and Yukine was about to take off his jacket as he said: "Here, take this.” Briar nodded, “Thank you.” She said as she put on the jacket. Meanwhile; Maggie had a rocky start while meeting Bishamon and her unity of Regalia. Including Kazuma while Tilda meets Tenjin, Mayu and other shrine maiden Regailas, & Sylver meets Kofuku and Koku. Back to Briar and the other two; Briar, Chloe and Randi got to know Yato, Hiyori and Yukine as they had a good time. But then they came across Infestations and worked together. That’s when Yato and his friends opened the floodgates about experiencing the Infestations: It was around summer when Hiyori Iki woke up to see the sun was out and she got ready when she was greeted by her parents at the table. "Good Morning Hiyori." Her mother said. "Morning Mom." Hiyori said. "Honey, did you hear the news? Capypa Land has a restaurant in the theme park and they have help wanted there. Would you like to apply there?" Her mom asked. "Really? They have one, I didn't know that." Hiyori said. "Yes, they have one now. Perhaps you can get a job there." Her father suggested. Hiyori wasn't sure about working there and promised she'll think about it. But when Hiyori met up with her friends; they told her the exact same thing: Capypa Land Diner which was a chain of family entertainment centers and restaurants. Hiyori decided to check it out so she went there and there was a help wanted sign. She went in and saw a worker there, he asked Hiyori if she can work. Hiyori asked if she could have a word with the boss, the boss came out and introduce himself as Hatashita. "So, Miss Iki, will you be available tomorrow?" He asked. Hiyori was shocked, "That's it? No interview?" She asked. "No, you got the job." Hatashita answered. Hiyori was so happy that she thanked him and promise to come by tomorrow. She told her parents as soon as she got home! When she got to her room; Hiyori thought that the guy never gave her information on what was she suppose to do and did her research. There was cleaning tables and wearing the mascot costume, this dreaded Hiyori a bit but she smiled as she found a job out there. "Somebody looks happy." A voice said. Hiyori jumped and looked to see Yato. Hiyori kicked Yato down, "You idiot! You scared me!" She shouted. "Yow! What's with you? I came out and surprise you and this is the thanks I get? It sucks to be a god of being fast and affordable." Yato complained. "Speak for yourself, Mr. Track Suit. Is being fast and affordable on an account to scare girls?" Yukine said with sarcasm. Yato reacted in horror! "Come on, Yato. I just got home. I got a job and I'm really happy about it!" gushed Hiyori, "I didn't get an interview. They just gave me the job. I'm so thrilled!" She was so glad that this made Yukine smile. "Hiyori." Yato said in a serious tone. Hiyori glanced at him, "Yeah?" She asked. Yato looked at her with a solemn look. "Have you been noticing the news reports of missing kids?" He inquired. Hiyori looked at him, "No. Nobody told me about that." She said. "There's disappearances out there?" Yukine asked. "Yes, I don't know what's going on but I think there is something going on with that Hatashita guy." Yato said. "Him? That's crazy! He hasn't done anything. He seems like a nice guy." Hiyori protested. Yato wasn't so sure about Hiyori and this new job. The next day, Hiyori got to meet Hatashita again who told her that her job was to clean the robot and left. So Hiyori did her routine however she was suddenly creeped out by the sight of that animatronic of Capypa staring at her. 

Turning straight at her which horrified Hiyori as she went and did her business before being told that she was done. And Hiyori left but not before looking back and shivered as that animatronic was still staring at her. When she got home, Hiyori was so content that she told Yato and Yukine about her job there. Yato was in disbelief, "That's it? You have to clean the robots? And watch them? Sounds boring." He said. "Yeah, what can you do about it?" Hiyori said with a shrug. Yato asked, "So, did anything happen there?" Hiyori was hesitant, "Uh...No, nothing." She lied. Yato smirked at her, "Uh huh. You sure about that?" He said. Hiyori sighed, "OK fine. Something freaky happened." She admitted, "I think one of the robots that resembled Capypa was looking right at me, it was so creepy." Yukine couldn't help but laugh, "Oh come on Hiyori!" He said. "You can't believe that!" Yato wasn't laughing which was odd. "Did it really?" He asked. Hiyori looked at Yato, "What's wrong? You seem calm." She noted. "I have a feeling something is up with that diner at the Capypa Land." answered Yato. Yukine looked at him, Hiyori was horrified. "That can't be!" Hiyori said. "I think it could. I mean, there could be something wrong with that animatronic for sure and also that place." Yato said. Hiyroi was shaken a bit and the thought made her uneasy. Yukine looked at Hiyori with concern, "Hiyori...." He thought. In the middle of the night; she woke up to a sound of a high pitched laugh from outside her house. from afar. She knew who that it was, she looked out the window!  There was a dark figure from afar that made Hiyori uneasy by this. She looked away from the window and looked back to see the figure was gone. Hiyori sighed and went back to sleep. The next morning when she got to her job, she noticed that the other employees were staring. They gave her looks and whisper about her when she wasn't looking. "What's with them?" Hiyori thought. Yato glared at the employees who couldn't see him or Yukine so Hiyori went out and did her routine however she was, once again, creeped out by the sight of that animatronic of Capypa smiling at her. Hiyori thought there was a glitch and sprayed it with water but the animatronic begin to squeak. However it turned out fine but it continued to stare at Hiyori. Hiyori didn't understand what was going on. Yato looked at it, he glared at it and Yukine was shocked by this sight. "Hmm, it is alive huh." Yato remarked. "Could you please back off?" Hiyori yelled. "Hiyori, come on! You have to admit, look at it--It looks creepy! How could you want us to back off? Look at it!" Yukine protested. Hiyori nervously glanced at it, that Capypa animatronic was still looking at her! "I think it likes you, but not for the right reasons." Yato said. "Shut up!" Hiyori said angrily. "Hiyori Iki?" A girl's voice said. Hiyori turned and saw a girl by the name of Ryoko, "Yes?" She asked. "You can take your lunch break now." said Ryoko. She was about to turn when Hiyori calls out, "Miss? I'm sorry to bother you but I haven't done much around here. What's the point of my job anyway?" Ryoko slowly turned to her and said in ominous tone of voice, "Your job is more that meets the eye, Hiyori." She then turned and walked away. Hiyori thought this was strange but Yato knew what that could mean. At lunch, Hiyori ate as she learns that the price for lunch was already paid for a cheap amount. She was amazed but it soon became downhill when another co-worker entered, his name was Takayto and he looked spooked under his glasses as he put his hands on Hiyori's shoulders and said, "Get out of here, Little girl. While you still can, if you care for your life." Then, he turned and left. Hiyori was now scared and confused but Yato knew what that meant. "Hmm....Sounds like there's trouble around here." He muttered. This made Yukine a little freaked out as he glance at the trembling Hiyori. After the second day, Hiyori lied in bed and wondered about the strangeness in the co-workers and what was going on amongst them. She then fell asleep until she woke up to the startling sound of a high pitched laugh from outside her house. She knew who that it was, she looked out the window! She saw that it was a mascot of Capypa Land! It looked right at her and Hiyori jumped back in horror! She pant as she backed away, "Wha--What's going on?" She thought. Hiyori looked out the window and saw the mascot was gone which she breathed a sigh of relief. Yato, from outside, saw the mascot was gone too but he glared at its retreating figure and the laugh it made. "A storm is coming." He thought, "It looks like there's a storm coming at Capypa Land's new restaurant." On the third day, Hiyori went to work but was shocked to see the police at the Capypa Land Diner and asked the officer what was going on. She heard that somebody stole one of the animatronics from the diner. Hiyori was troubled by this, Yato and Yukine heard this from afar as Yato said: "Stole? Yeah right." Yukine looked at him, "What do you mean?" He asked. "I mean, I don't think somebody was strong enough to take those." Yato said, "If they had tools, it would be tricky but it looked like the animatronic went away on its own." Yukine shivered, "Stop creeping me out." He snapped. "Sorry, I just...Nothing, sounds crazy for an animatronic to leave by itself huh." Yato said. At night, Hiyori try to sleep but she was freaking out however she managed to after calming herself down. She woke up as she got a phone call but she decided not to answer, however a message was left on her phone and she decides to answer it. The person who left the voice mail message was Hatashita: "Miss Iki...I am so sorry, this is nothing personal but.....you must understand, we needed you.....We needed someone.....He's getting more ravenous, Hiyori. He needs to eat more or else.....Listen well, Hiyori Iki, your sacrifice will not be in vain nor forgotten. Please, we only do this to please him and save humanity. We can't kill it, we only make him angry....If we don't feed it, we only wanted him to consume only backstage but now he's on the run. I am so sorry, Hiyori." After the voice mail was done; Hiyori thought this was all a joke and decides to call the police. As she dialed the number, she looked in horror to see the animatronic in her room. She was scared that she managed to open the window and look back to see the thing opened its mouth as it slowly moved towards her. Hiyori jumped out the window, she was out of her body but Yato caught her body as they both escaped with Yukine with them. "See Hiyori, it does like you but for the wrong reasons!" Yato said. "Why does it want me?" Hiyori asked. "The disappearances....This animatronic.....These people who are your co workers......Something is up with all of this....." panted Yato. Later; Hiyori got back in her body and went back to her house where she saw the police was there as well as her parents. Hiyori told them that a man in a Capypa costume had trapped her in her room and she escaped from the window. The police decided to investigate the diner and searched it only to find a horrifying sight of mutilated bodies of the missing teens were backstage. The Capypa Diner was shut down however the scariest thing was that the animatronic was still out there! And was still on the loose. Yato, Hiyori, and Yukine went to visit Kofuki and Koku where they told them what happened. "Aw, Poor Yori! I never knew that you were part of all that! You poor thing!" Kofuku said, hugging Hiyori. Daikoku, who brought in food shook his head, "I can't believe those humans would do something like this." He remarked. "I feel like something was amiss but I couldn't be sure, is that animatronic possessed? Or are the workers controlling it and are delusional to think that it's out of control?" Hiyori said. "Possessed is a good word to describe it." Yato said. "So, what do we do now?" Yukine asked. "Simple, we're going back inside that closed down diner and confront that monster." Yato answered. "WHAT?! NO WAY!" Yukine said, backing away. "Listen well, Yukine, as my Regalia, you will do as I say!" Yato said, pointing a finger at him. "I won't do it! Forget it!" Yukine protested. Hiyori pound her friends on their heads and scolded at them, "YOU GUYS ARE GOING THERE BY YOURSELVES?! YOU! AREN'T GOING THERE.....!" Yato and Yukine bowed their heads in disappointment. Kofuku gasped. Daikoku sighed. But Hiyori smiled and said in a normal voice, "Without me." Yato and Yukine looked up at her, "WHAT?!" They cried. Kofuku cheered, "YAY!!!!" Daikoku was surprised but he soon smiled, Hiyori grinned at the boys. "I would never let you two deal with this alone. I want to find out more about all of this." She answered. Yato smiled, "Good to hear." He said. Yukine beamed, "Awesome!" He replied. Hiyori slipped out of her body and went with Yato and Yukine, Hiyori's body was to stay at Kofuku's shrine for protection if that animatronic were to wander around the shop. The three friends went off to the close down diner, looking outside at it. "Man, it looks so creepy. You sure you want to do this?" Hiyori asked. "Positive. We are going to end this once and for all." Yato confirmed. "I don't like the looks of this." Yukine remarked. Hiyori put her arms around her blonde haired friend, "It'll be OK." She said. Yato then pulled out a tape recorder and smiled like a nerd, "Maybe we can catch some strange activity, huh?" He said. His friends gave him a weird look, "You really are weird, aren't you?" They both said. Yato let out an 'Ack' as he turned white but recovers and says, "ALL RIGHT! LET'S GO!" Yato, Hiyori, and Yukine sneaked inside the building after pick-pocketing the back door opened. As they got inside, Hiyori wrinkled her nose. "Whoa! It stinks in here." She retorted. "That explains the corpses of the bodies." Yato said. He looked around and saw the bodies were gone. "Guess the police took care of it, there aren't any around here." Yato replied. The three walked from the back to the halls and looked around the arcade and all the other places such as the kitchen, the dining place, and the stage. Yato used his bought tape recorder and turned it on, "Fast and affordable Yato with his friends, his Regalia and his fair maiden as we explore the wonders around this area." He said dramatically. "Will you put that away?!" Hiyori demanded. "Aww come on, Hiyori! I want to catch some on--" Yato protested but they were interrupted by a snarling sound. Yato whirled around, "Did you hear that?" He said softly. "Wha--What was that?" Hiyori stammered. "Aww man! Is that the animatronic?" Yukine said. "One way to find out, c'mon!" Yato said. The trio move into the direction that the sound was coming from: The play place area. "Hmm, I don't see anythign around here." Yato commented. "It was so scary, what could it be?" Hiyori asked. Yukine then peered over and could see a little girl. "Wait guys! Look, there's a kid here!" He said, he walked over to the child. "Yukine, come back!" Hiyori called. But Yukine said, "I just want to see if the kid is OK." He approached the child and touch his or her shoulder, "Hey kid, what are you doing here....?" He started to inquired. But as the child whirled around, the child had pinkish red eyes and a demonic appearance as it growled, "Smells nice....Smells nice...." Yukine jumped back. Yato pulled him aside and the three friends ran into another room with a huge window and shut the door, locking it. They turn off the lights outside and in as they huddled in that room, panting out of breath! "What....were you....thinking?" Yato gasped for air. "I...I'm sorry....I didn't know..." Yukine protested between breaths. Yato had shut off his recorder and sighed, "Well! We're safe for now." He said. "You think? You think that kid is still out there?!" Hiyori protested. "It'll be all right." Yato promised. Then, they heard a tapping at the window. It was so dark that Hiyori had to turn on the lights but was startled to see that Capypa animatronic was there with possessed children. The children had eerie smiles and Hiyori turned off the lights. She backed away back to her friends as Yato looked at the window, "He has possessed kids? What the hell?" He rasped angrily. "What is becoming of Capypa Land?" Yukine whimpered. "Now this place is going to be a nightmare! It won't be such a happy place with all of this going around." Hiyori said. "No doubt about it, not until we put a stop to this." Yato said. They waited for a while and are unsure to get to the outside but once turning on the lights outside, there was no one there. The trio opened the door and looked around, the coast was clear! They slipped out and made their way to the staff room. It was dark and damp but it reeked badly like in the back. "Aww! It smells like dead animals in here!" groaned Yukine, covering his mouth and nose. Hiyori felt nauseating, even Yato was disgusted. "It's no good, this is where the other bodies were hiding." He said. Hiyori's eyes bulged wide in terror! "B--b--bodies?" She whispered. Yato moved the mascot's head and sure enough, there was something of piles of something stuffed in there. Yukine held in his breath, Yato was shocked, and Hiyori almost fainted. "What. Is. This." Yato said. "I--I don't believe it....!" Hiyori sobbed. "Who are these people? What is going on?!" Yukine demanded. In that instant; Hiyori then felt someone was behind her so she slowly turned around, the Capypa animatronic was there and it opened its mouth and screamed. It grabbed onto Hiyori, who squirmed before she kicked it as she shouted: "Jungle High Kick!" The animatronic fell backwards but eyes pop from its sockets of a familiar pinkish red color and the words were: "Sssssmmelllsss nnniiiiiiiicccccceee!" Hiyori was horrified, "What the--? It is possessed!" Hiyori cried. "I knew it! There was a corrupt spirit in that animatronic after all! It was inside of it!" Yato said. "So, what do we do?" Yukine said. "We cut the head off and find the source. Then we eliminate it." Yato said. "Or I can kick the head off and you finish it!" suggested Hiyori. "Can you do that?" Yato asked. Hiyori nodded, Yato glance at her and said, "All right." Then he called out to Yukine: "COME! SEKKI!" Yukine's symbol glowed and he turned into the twin swords. Hiyori fought the possessed animatronic and managed to kick its head off! She saw a swarm of corrupt spirits from inside the animatronic, causing it to move inside of it! "I found it, take it down Yato!" Hiyori shouted. "OK, Yukine!" Yato said, "You know what to do!" Yukine nodded, "Right!" The corrupt spirits growled and snarled. It was then Yato raises his swords and announced, "This is the Land of the Rising Sun! Your desecration shall not be allowed! Hear me! I am the god Yato! I now lay thee waste with the Sekki, and expel thy vast defilement! I cleanse thee!" And then, he said, "REND!!!" He eliminated the corrupt spirits and took care of it. The animatronic was no longer possessed. "Ah, I'm glad that's over!" Hiyori sighed. "Let's get rid of the pieces in the mascot and make this place nice." Yato said. "Really? I think I like that!" Yukine said. And so they did but they need to find the people and how they got a corrupt spirit amongst them in this place. At Bishamon's mansion, Lady Bishamon bathed in the springs when Kazuma made his report on trouble at Capypa Land's diner that was shut down. "Did Yato took care of it?" She asked. "Yes, he did." Kazuma confirmed. "I see." Bishamon remarked, "You may go now Kazuma. Report to me for any new information." Kazuma nodded, "I will do so, m'lady." And he went away. He was going to pay a visit to Yato and his friends once more and found out what really went on! Kazuma adjusted his glasses up to the bridge of his nose, he sat there with Yato, Yukine, Hiyori, Kofuku, and Koku in the room. "So, that's what happened." He said. Yato nodded, "Yup. I'm glad we got that job done." He said. "And we made things right as a result." Hiyori added. Kazuma nodded, "I see. By the way, did you know anything about this boss of yours?" He asked. Hiyori shook her head, "No idea. But he left me a voice mail. Here, I'll let you guys listen to it." She replied. She pulled out her cell phone, she put the volume up a little on speaker and played the message. All at once, the others were repulsed to hear what the guy said. Yato cringed at the words of the animatronic being 'hungry' and how it needs to eat. Yukine covered his mouth as he fought the urge to throw up. Kofuku and Koku seemed shocked by this, Kazuma's eyes widened in horror. After the message was over; Kazuma composed himself to say something: "Hmm...I believe there must be some sort of cult going on." Hiyori glanced at him, Yukine glanced too and Yato nodded. "That guy must be hiding something, all of them. They must be looking for some sort of sacrifice." He said. "Sacrifice? Like...Me?" Hiyori inquired. "You were lucky that thing didn't get to you, Hiyori Iki. If it did, you would've been dead by now." Kazuma said. "But I'm glad I didn't...I can't help but feel like that thing is out there." Hiyori said. "You know it's out there?" Yukine asked with fear. Hiyori seemed nervous at first but then she said, "I have this strange feeling but also, I woke up one night and heard it outside in the neighborhood. This person made that exact same laugh, it couldn't be that animatronic right?" Yato shook his head, "No. Not an animatronic, more like a puppet or a doll this time." He said. "What's going on? What's with all this?" Hiyori gasped. "I believe we have reports about this....Someone has summoned a corrupt spirit or more and they are manifesting on any non living object like a doll...A mannequin....And an animatronic.....Sometimes these non living objects are used by the corrupt spirits to feast on the human souls." Kazuma said. Yato looked at him, "So there is someone out there that's doing this." He said softly. "But what purpose? Why do they need it?" Kofuku asked. "Good question." Koku said, mouth full of a cigarette. "We know so little." Yukine said. "We're going to start digging then. Find out what we know and search for a person responsible." Kazuma answered. "Where do we start?" Yato said. "Oh! I know!" Kofuku nearly shouted and runs out of the room. She was gone for a few minutes and returns with a flyer that said in big bold letters: "PURIFICATION: MIND, BODY, AND SOUL. FEEL CLEAN BY THE HEALING OF THE MIRACLE CLEANSE!!!" Kofuku said, "I was in town one day and someone pass me this as a flyer." Yato and the others look at it. "Hmm, Miracle Cleanse...It says, 'We come to save the souls of others who want to be cleanse by a miracle. We would make you anew and feel perfectly purified'." read Yato. Koku looked at it too, "Sounds like a load a bull crap to me. Nobody can be perfect." He said. "Indeed. It seems this so-called purification is a way to lure in humans and that's when the truth comes out." Kazuma noted. "So this how they managed to lure in people. That's really clever." Hiyori muttered. "AHHHH!!!" Yato cried out, "I JUST REALIZE THAT THEY HAVE A BETTER ADVERTISEMENT THAN ME!!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!! I AM THE WISH GRANTING GOD, YATO!!!! I DESERVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS DON'T I?" Yukine exclaims, "Quit whining! You don't go and lure people in for grotesque human sacrifices!!! Do ya?" Yato looked at him, "No! Are you crazy!"  He said. Hiyori looked at him, "And besides, if you want to have your own advertisement than maybe you need something more colorful!" Hiyori teased. Yato turned white upon hearing that, he then straightened himself. "I'm surprised nobody found this out. Quite manipulative bastards aren't they huh." He said solemnly. "They must be using someone or something to cover it up." Kazuma said. "But who? Could it be that Hatashita guy?" Yukine inquired. 

Hatashita, Ryoko, and Takayto were talking amongst themselves. It was then they heard a water drop and turned to see a little girl with names on her arms and legs, she smiled a sinister smile, "Hello you three. I heard that Capypa was taken care of, huh." She said. Ryoko gasped, "Nora! Thank goodness! We lost our business and we're trying to hide out. We need more, we really need more of the spirits. Why is your so-called father taking so long?!" Nora looked at her, "You are selfish. You need to give Father more time, you're impatience is troubling me." She snapped. "Look, we just need more or everyone will find out we're murderers! I won't take any chances in jail, forget it!" Takayto whimpered. Hatashita slaps him, "Get a hold of yourself! Nobody is going to jail! We just need more, tell your 'Father' to take as much time. But don't keep us waiting." He said. Nora replied with a frown, "Fine then. I'll see what I can do." She said. Hatashita nodded, he turned the other two: "Let's go." He said. They all turned and left as Nora watched them go. Nora smiled sneakily, "Well...Those trouble fools could be the next sacrifice they created." She thought.  A week later; Hiyori walked down the street, she saw Ryoko and Takayto talking to each other in hushed but frantic tones. She looked at them, waiting patiently. But she heard them speak about a place called Precious Strike Haven. The two of them noticed Hiyori and greeted her. Hiyori smiled but she then said in a serious tone, "I want to show you guys something." She said. Hiyori pulled out a flyer that read, 'Purification: Mind, Body, and Soul. Feel clean and perfect by the Healing of the MIRACLE CLEANSE!!!'. "Is this yours?" She asked, showing it to them. Upon seeing this; Ryoko and Takayto got excited, "Yes! Where--How did you find this?" They said in unison. "A good friend of mine still had it. You know, that incident in Capypa Land? You guys really caused a ruckus there." said Hiyori in a disapproval tone of voice. Ryoko and Takayto's heads bowed in ashamed. "We're sorry Hiyori. We didn't mean to." Ryoko protested. "It's fine, but you're going to take me to this place you mentioned. Precious Strike Haven? Can you take me there?" Hiyori requested. "I don't think that's a good idea Hiyori." Takayto warned. "Here's the deal--If you take me there, I promise I won't turn you in. I really don't think you guys wouldn't like being on the news wouldn't you?" Hiyori said. That scared Ryoko and Takayto, they could not want to be arrested for their secret will be exposed and everyone will know! However, not everyone will believe them. "OK, OK, we'll take you but Hatashita cannot know about this." Ryoko said firmly. "All right." Hiyori said. And so, they all went to the site however it didn't take too long to realize that they had to waddle in the shallow water to get to Precious Strike Haven. But they did, despite getting their shoes wet only slightly. Hiyori knew something wasn't right and she felt as if she was going to panic a lot. She was saying, "Are you guys sure this was a good idea of keeping this a secret?" Takayto glared at her, "Come on Hiyori! Don't be such a chicken!" He scolded. "I'm not, I'm just saying." protested Hiyori. "It doesn't matter, we wanted to show you this so we're going to do it anyway." Ryoko said in a neutral tone. Hiyori nodded so they managed to arrive at Precious Strike Haven. There was a row of dolls in display but they all looked creepy. Hiyori felt eyes watching her every movement as she walked passed the display glass. They reached another part of an exhibit which was dark in the room but they turned on the light and felt something upon them. Eyes, blood-red eyes in the room. There were dozens of pairs of eyes reflecting the light back at us. Hiyori, Ryoko and Takayto froze in their tracks as they saw a colony of monsters called Infestations looking back at them. They were larger and far more paler than any Infestation Hiyori has ever seen before, probably a cross between multiple species that used to be on display back at the area. Hiyori knew they had to leave right now. "Guys, we have to get out of here." She whispered. "Right." Ryoko agreed in a hushed tone. "More leftovers, huh." Takayto murmured to the girls as they began shuffling backwards towards the door. They didn't lose focus on the group of Infestations, who were beginning to congregate. Takayto's heel caught on something as the trio moved and he fell backwards, hitting his head on the cold concrete below with a loud smack, where he became unconscious. The colony of Infestations noticed Takayto's fall as well, they all banded together and moved in sync towards the still body of the young man, whooping and hollering at the tops of their lungs. Their screams sounded human-like as they approached, some of them standing on two legs as they did so. The Infestations had to be at least four feet tall on their hind legs, looking almost human-like with patches of corn-silk on their heads and coarse of clothing on their bodies. With about twenty of them now approaching Takayto and the girls with a predatory stare, Hiyori knew that Ryoko and her alone was going to be no match fighting them off. Hiyori slowly backed up and saw something she would never forget: the Infestations, who now surrounded Takayto, began to eat him alive. His screams of anguish were deafened by the screams of the Infestations, who were now excited and enraged. They took large bites out of him, ripping him apart like a child's toy. Takayto had a slow death however he was in a state of shock as the live dolls began to violently tearing at him out of his body and drag them off into their own corners of the room to eat. Occasionally, two other dolls would squabble over a clearly distinguishable body part and Hiyori would often hear the loud crack of his bones being broken from their strong jaws and large teeth. The sound made her sickened but she swallowed hard. Hiyori and Ryoko waited until each last monkey was occupied with eating before they made their escape out of the building and to the edge of the island. Thankfully, none of them pursued me as they made a bee-line it to the opposite side of the island. Takayto was gone. And he was now in a dozen pieces being ravenously devoured by some strange mutant creatures that someone doesn't want people in the city to know about. Hiyori knew that there are more Infestations in that haven. Ones that have evolved and mutated to become monstrous and aggressive beyond belief on the inside. Hiyori and Ryoko didn't stick around to find out, getting away from that place was far safer than being stuck on an island with who knows wants to eat her and Ryoko now. The girls don't even remember the walk back to the city, except for the fact that they made it back to the main part of the city safe and sound and without getting caught. Hiyori was told by an understanding Ryoko that most people don't make it back from the island alive, and the ones that do share their stories of predatory possessed dolls of all shapes and sizes. Some who survive their visit to Precious Strike Haven say that there's black magic and human sacrifices are performed there to keep profits up. "If you are wise, Hiyori, you'll heed my advice and warn people never swim out to that damned place. If they do, prepare yourself for the horrors that abound in the one place that lifts the innocent veil of the strangeness that goes on in this city." said Ryoko. Hiyori nodded, she was going to tell Yato and Yukine about this. They need to know. "Takayto is dead?" Yato asked. Hiyori looked sad, "Yeah, Ryoko and I witness possessed dolls devouring him." She said. "You saw that?" Yukine asked. Hiyori nodded, Yato gave her a hug. "It's OK, you're safe Hiyori. Nobody's going to hurt you." He assured her. Hiyori felt stiff as she managed to say, "Yato....How did they get themselves into this mess? How could they be doing this?" Yato said, "I don't know." He pulled away gently, "But it's going to be OK. I promise." Yato assured her. Hiyori nodded, however despite being comforted by her friends; she knew things were about to get worst. Since Takayto's death; Ryoko told Hiyori about all the spirits she could see. She said that they were always there, just staring at her. She claimed she saw an old woman with a doll mask in a bloodstained apron. Ryoko took them seriously though. That week, Ryoko wasn't around. Though Hiyori wasn’t horribly upset, because even though she wanted to always be nice to her nevertheless she had been getting on Hiyori's nerves a bit lately. Though, Ryoko returned and she looked like hell! The ghost stories had increased; she was claiming to see a misshapen spirit with a pig snout and bites on its skin, like some kind of animal had started eating him but quit halfway through, and the ghost of the old woman was back, only this time she looked disfigured. Obviously Hiyori thought Ryoko was just acting out, so I kind of ignored him. That Monday when she didn’t come into the cafe like she used, Hiyori figured she’d be back the next day. But she didn't. It was one day around the weekend; Hiyori found a stream of text messages poured through, she hadn't use her phone all day so this surprised her. Her friends looked at the missed messages and were shocked by how many were on there. "Looks like you’re a pretty popular girl!” remarked one of her friends Akira playfully. "Yup, sure am!" Hiyori said, beaming. But she was curious to know who they were from! All of them were from Ryoko. Hiyori went out to the sidewalk to start reading them while walking with her friends. She had seven messages unread and what she read that day still haunts her: The first one was at 9:47 PM: Hiyori, I don’t know what’s going on, but I think I just saw someone pull into my driveway. I’m home alone and this is kind of freaking me out, my parents aren’t coming back until Monday. This is like the start of a horror movie! Where are you right now, Hiyori? I don’t know where I am. It’s dark and I’m in a really small space. I don’t know what happened, first I saw headlights and then I blacked out and now I’m here. I tried calling the police but they didn’t help because they’ve had problems with my brother before. Help me, Hiyori! Help me! Okay I think I’m in a closet now, I see a little bit of light outside. The door is locked but I think I hear someone outside. They opened the door. Their faces… They aren’t human. At least not anymore. They have like… doll heads. And they have glowing reddish purple eyes. They're saying the words, 'Smells nice.' Why don’t you answer?! I need help! Call the police or something, Hiyori! They have me, I can’t escape! There is no escape!!!! They’ll take you too, there’s no escape, all that's there is fear! I only wanted to be loved! There is no escape, the dolls are coming!!!!! Why didn't you help me, Hiyori?! We could've at least gone together, you were my only friend now they have me...I can't breathe...I cant see...and they want you too they want us all!!!! They want you too, they'll take you, there's no escape from the Evil Spirits of this world, see you soon Hiyori!

In the next day; Hiyori showed the text messages to Yato, Yukine, Kofuku, and Koku. She looked like she hadn't slept in days; Hiyori couldn't sleep well because she couldn't close her eyes and spend all night keeping her eyes opened, her blankets over her head as she ducked under the covers. "Oh wow! What do you think might've happen to her?" Kofuku asked. "I don't know." Hiyori said. "Eh, that's just creepy." Koku replied. "Geez, and you spend awake all night?" Yato asked. "I wish I could've helped her." Hiyori replied. "You did all you could, Hiyori." Yukine assured her. Just then, the phone rang but the number was unknown. Hiyori answered it: "Hello?" A short pause and then, "Ha--Hatashita? Whoa, whoa, slow down. Where are you?" She listened and nodded, "OK. I'll be right there." Yato and the others knew something was up. Hours later at around night; Hiyori meets up with Hatashita, who was pacing around. "Hatashita!" She called. Hatashita jumped but he seemed relieved, "Ah Hiyori. It's so good to see you. Where have you been? Are you alive?" He asked. "I'm fine. But you look awful. You look like you haven't slept in days." Hiyori noted. "Ryoko told me about Takayto's violent death and she went missing. Where is she?" Hatashita asked. "She text me a lot but she looked like she was in trouble but I don't know where she is." Hiyori explained. Hatashita looked like he was going to lose his mind, "Where is she? How did you know?" He asked. So Hiyori explained what happened: The Precious Strike Haven incident, the dolls, Ryoko's strange behavior and the text messages. Once she finished; Hatashita looked scared and guilt. "We really got ourselves in trouble." Hatashita remarked. "What do you mean?" asked Hiyroi. "Hiyori, we went to a place and got to meet someone. A girl, she promised us....But now, she's causing us to go crazy and now..." Hatashita stopped and turned around, he looked scared and ran away. "NOT ME! PLEASE, NOT ME!!!" He screamed. "Hatashita! Hatashita, wait!" called Hiyori. But he was gone! Hiyori wanted to go after him but she was afraid he will see her. Though she wanted to help him. But Yato stopped her, "Just leave him. He got himself into this mess." He stated. "What? What do you mean?" Hiyori asked. "I'll tell you along the way. Come on." Yato said. And so they went. Meanwhile; Hatashita could hear the corrupt spirits as he ran faster but he tripped many times until he found a secluded area and hid there. He thought he was safe but he was dead wrong. Hatashita felt paralyzed in the area he was in. Not able to move at all. All he could see was a scene of pure horror and violence. A massacre. He looked before him of a women dead next to him. He screamed but still couldn't move. Whispers filled his ears as Hatashita struggled to keep his eyes open. He heard the spirits told him horrible things: how they would rip his organs from his body one by one, they would pull his eyes from the sockets and devour them like grapes, the vile ways they would violate his body before death turned it cold. Hatashita covered his ears, desperate to block out the voices, but it was no use. They grew louder and louder until whispers turned to screams. He witnessed children ripped limb from limb, a woman tied to a table while a bear-like creature penetrated her with a long knife, a man’s skin blister and melt away as he burned into nothing. A figure was holding Hatashita by the back of the neck while Hatashita pleading with it, begging it to let him go. But the figure pushed Hatashita into its stomach. Once he was gone, his body became nothing but a corrupt spirit. Nora watched her work brought to life, "Well then. I believe it's all part of the purification. Throughout mind, body, and soul....This is my 'healing' of the Miracle Cleanse." She said with a creepy close-lipped smile to her red thin mouth. "You are such a fool, Hatashita. You and your allies. You didn't keep your promise and for that you will face the consequences. Shame on you." She said. Yato and Hiyori try to save Hatashita but they were too late. 


Upon hearing this; Briar, Chloe, and Randi are shocked by what they heard in the present. They want to help out Yato, Hiyori and Yukine to put a stop to these corrupted spirits! “How? How can you take on these monsters?” demanded Yato. “I have supernatural powers, remember?” Briar reminded. “Oh yeah, sure-sure.” Yato said while laughing. "Don't believe me? Watch what I can do." She said, she caused her powers begin to levitate as Yato, Hiyori, and Yukine are shocked. They were dodging, running a bit, and hiding until it was all over. Afterwards, the three of them emerged from their hiding spots as Briar spoke to them excitedly, "You see? I can control things that nobody else can control. I am no god, nor devil, nor anything from what you imagine. I can be a dream, yes but once you push my buttons, I can be a nightmare. I am nice, I am sweet, but I am a force to be reckoned with. But I am from another world." Briar said. There was silence there and quiet. Pretty eerie. "Is everything okay over there?" Briar asked. Yato and his friends are in great shocked, "Uh... I don't know. You tell me. You're the one with the power in your hands." Yato said. "I do?" asked Briar. Then, she gasped in realization. "I got the whole world in my hands!" She clapped and then said while group hugging them, “Don't worry, my dear friends, I’ll keep you all safe.” Later; Briar, Yato, Chloe, Yukine, Randi, and Hiyori are hanging out with one another until Briar's cell-phone. Her face fell when she saw and looked up with a fake smile. "Can I take this?" Briar questioned. Yato nodded, "Sure." He said, but noticed Briar's face looked troubled. Briar smiled, "Excuse me." She said and left the room. Then, she answered the phone: "Hello?" A voice she recognized made her stomach dropped, "Hi honey." It was her father's voice. "Dad...Um, hi." Briar said, trying her best to stay calm. "It's good to hear your voice. I missed you. I've been in so much trouble lately. Here I am in the hospital. Your grandmother is blessed to be alive, she almost died." Her father said. Briar was shocked, "Grandma? Is she OK?" She asked. "She just almost overdosed on pills, honey. She's going to make it, she wanted to commit suicide but thank the angels she's going to live." Her father said. "Oh, good. I'm glad." Briar sighed. "But you just had to go and say that." Orion said in a snarky tone. "What? What do you mean?" demanded Briar. "You actually cared about her?" Orion said. "I do, I love grandmother!" Briar said, raising her voice a little but managed to speak in a low tone. "Well, well, the greatest agent of the shitty corporation decided to lie about it in order for someone to commit suicide almost." Orion said in a mean tone. Briar was furious, "Well that's a load of crap. Who the hell were you to say that?" She argued. "I'm your father, Brie. And you show your daddy respect. You deserved it. Believe me, you were nothing but ungrateful. You and your mother!" Orion scolded. "Crazy mother? She was having a hard time since you came around! I've been trying to be good; I made a lot of mistakes. I'm only human, I have to live with the threat of my existence." Briar argued. "Good. You break everything you touch." Orion said. "You do too." Briar barked. Silence, now she wished she didn't say that. "What you say? What's the matter with you?" yelled Orion. Briar tries to repair what she had done, "Dad, stop. Let's just have a nice conversation." She said. A pause and then, a scoff: "A nice conversation?" Briar shrugged, "Yes." She said. She didn't noticed that Yato was listening in. "Here's your nice conversation, bitch! I get no respect from my own family!" Orion yelled in her ear over the phone. "Look, I'm sorry. I said that. I'm sorry." Briar said. "Yeah, yeah, you say that every time." Orion said, maliciously. "Please just stop." Briar begged.  "No! This time, you listen!" Orion said. “You don't get it and here I thought you came to tell me about grandma but now, you're gonna tell me that I wanted you all dead? NEVER, NEVER! If I wanted that, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself but that's different. I never said that! If anyone should say that, it's you!" Briar said. "You stupid bitch!" Orion shouted. "Go to hell!" Briar screamed, she hung up and slammed the floor on the other side of the room. Then, curling up on the sofa; she begins to cry. "Briar?" Yato said. Briar turned to see him standing there, "Hi Yato." She greeted. Yato smiled but then he looked at her with concern, "You look troubled, are you OK?" He asked. Briar nodded, "I'm fine." She claimed. "You don't look too great." n said. "Really, I'm just tired." insisted Briar. "Briar!" snapped Yato, "Don't you lie to me! I want the truth now!" Briar begin crying, "My dad has been saying crazy things....He's causing madness and I feel like I can't stop him from all the bad things he's saying to everyone here and other places. If he keeps this up, I don't want to be around him. They all think he's a saint but he really is a monster! A monster..." Briar explained, she started crying again. Yato embraced her, "Don't worry. Just don't cry. Please, Brie, don't cry." He soothed her. Once she calmed down, Briar rests her head on Yato's shoulder. "So, you're not going to judge me?" Briar asked. "No." Yato said. "Can we be friends?" Briar asked. "Of course!" replied Yato. He hugged her, "C'mon. Let’s go join the others together!" He said, taking her hands. Just then; Briar grabbed the Delivery God, she leaned over and whispered in Yato's ear: "Can you do me a favor?" Yato nodded, "Yeah, what is it?" He replied. "Put your arms around me and hold on. Close your eyes." Briar commanded softly. Hearing this, Yato made a face while flushing, "What? Is this some sort of trick of flattering?" He demanded. "Just do it!" Briar snapped in a whispery tone. "Fine." Yato said softly. He wrapped his arms around her waist, which made Briar blushed a little. Then, she turned and said in the ear communicator to her friends, "Hey ladies, you got the others?" She said. "Yes." Chloe said. "Uh huh." Randi replied. Briar nodded, then whispered to Yato as she embraced him tightly while resting her cheek on his neck: "Whatever happens, don't open your eyes." She said. Yato was confused, "Why?" He asked, keeping his eyes shut. "I'll tell you later." Briar whispered. "Whatever happens, don't open your eyes." Chloe instructed. "Why not now?" Yukine asked, his eyes were shut. "You'll see afterwards." replied Chloe. Randi was saying the same thing, but got a question for Hiyori: "Why can't I see?" She asked, eyes shut closed. "I'll show you...Once it's all over." Pulling out a gun, Briar pointed at the Infestation and she said to her two friends, "On three....One....." Chloe continued, "....Two...." Randi piped in, "Two in a half.....Two and three quarters...." It was an eerie silence until all three girls screamed, "THREE!!!!!" BOOM! They were thrown forwards while they crash safely to the ground. Once they opened their eyes; Yato, Hiyori, and Yukine were horrified to see what was there. An explosion of fire, lightning all around--It was like the Fourth of July! "Whoa-oh! I can see why you didn't want us to look." Yato remarked. "It's quite blinding if you keep your eyes opened." Briar said. "Damn, you're good." Yato remarked. Briar smile, "Thank you. I appreciate it." She replied. “It comes with the territory of being an agent.” Yato and his friends were shocked where Briar and her friends revealed to them that they are agents of Evermore and wants to recruit them. At the same time, it happened with Maggie and Tilda as well as Sylver! Once recruiting the gods and Regalia; they brought them back to DWC. Later, the girls were called in by Sylver Eden. Moments after; Briar, Chloe, Randi, Maggie, Tilda, and Marina are seated in a meeting room. "What the hell is taking her?" Maggie groaned. "Patience, Mags. Sylver moves in mysterious ways." Briar assured her. "I wonder what Babyface has for us this time." Chloe said. "We'll find out soon enough, girls." Randi replied. While waiting; they heard a female grunting and incoherent complaining as they got louder. Then, Sylver came in with a large box and placed it down. "Phew! Talk about a lot of designed costumes to deliver can give someone quite a work out." She said with a sigh and huffing. Sylver smiled at the girls, "Hey ladies! Sorry for making you wait but I want to show you something..." She said. Briar looked suspicious as Sylver whip out the MPD and typing on it. "OK," She said. "Your mission is quite interested. This world is known as a land you never dreamed of. It is my pleasure to introduce you to this special mission." Then, Sylver said loudly: "Drumroll please!" and imitates a drum sound. Sylver said, "Introducing--Operation: Playact Superhero!" Briar and the others stare at her with weird looks. "Say what?" Chloe remarked. "Huh?" asked Randi. "Um...What now?" said Maggie. "Que?" Marina inquired. "What did she say?" asked Tilda, "What was that last part?" "What is Operation Superhero Playact?" questioned Briar, "And what is the meaning of it?" She stared at her with a suspicious face. "It's an undercover operative assignment!" piped Sylver, "This new world has pretty cool heroes there but the catch is to recruit them." The girls exchanged looks at one another. "Ohhhhh-kaaayyyy. I think that brain of yours went downhill. Have you gone completely loco?" asked Marina. "Yes, I have gone loco--about this world! C'mon, I think it'll be fun!" Sylver persisted excitedly. All of the agents weren't sure about this idea but Sylver was their friend and they didn't and they didn't want to erupt her joy of this mission with disappointment. Briar smiled, "We'll do it!" She said. "You will? Great! I'm glad." Sylver squealed. The girls were shock by Briar's response however she knew this mission might be good and ease the pain of deceased members nevertheless no one was going to get betrayed nor killed again. Sylver gave the girls their so-called superheroine costumes; Marina's outfit resembled an angel white getup complete with sparkles and a mass of glitter. Tilda's outfit has sea blue and ice blue clothing, the style was a dress. Maggie has a red catsuit with red roses that gave the illusion of being bloodied--Just the way she likes it! Randi's costume was a breastplate that covered her chest like a corset top, she had a fringe skirt with culottes underneath. Golden winged sandals with a higher heel. Chloe's outfit was a black lace top, leggings, and a cloak with a hood. And lastily; Briar's outfit was a short jacket, a light colored shirt, pants, knee high boots, a sash around her waist that covered her hips. Also that included a firebird leavint its cage as a symbol on her badge and the back of her jacket. The costume came with gloves and an ink blotted mask which resembled the phoenix. The girls were also given superheroine personas: Briar is Morning Star, Chloe is Black Rose, Randi is Faerie, Maggie is Bloody Mary, Tilda is Aqua Mint, and Marina is Bright. This was going to be the most epic, weirdest mission but Operation Superhero Playact was commencing the mysterious land. All suit up in their costumes of their undercover superheroine alter egos; Briar, Chloe, Randi, Maggie, Tilda, and Marina were ready to go! "Huh, these suits don't ride up or give you a wedgie." Maggie noted. Sylver beamed, "Nice huh. They're comfy while also kick ass." She said. Briar posed, "Sweet!" She said. "Yes." Sylver replied, but she got serious; it look like she's about to say something and she did: "Ladies, your mission is simple--Observe these heroes, and be very careful to not let yourself be exposed. I wish you the best luck!" announced Sylver, she saluted. Briar giggled, "You're cute." She complimented. Sylver drops her hand, "Hey! I'm being serious!" She protested. "I know, I know." answered Briar. "OK, getting ready for teleportation for agents..." Sylver said, pressing buttons and pulling switches to activate the portal. She continued to talk while typing, "Operation Superhero Playact is commencing....Destination—Sternbild City. Portal opening, transportation begins in 10...9...8...7...6...5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!" The tension is rising, adrenaline fueling. "Let's goooooooooo!" Briar hollered. And the agents jumped into the portals. Sylver watched them disappear, "Good luck agents." She said in a soft tone. Briar and the girls found out they were falling like the flies, "What the hell? Why are we falling? What's going on?" Briar hollered. "I don't know, Brie! It's insane!" Chloe called. They used their flight as they landed somewhere safe. "Sylver, what the hell?" demanded Briar. "Oopsie Daises! Sorry, accidentally placed you in the wrong area of Sternbild City." Sylver's voice on the earpiece communicator. Briar sighed. "Seriously?" Maggie demanded, "You're such a ditz!" "Yes, yes. So I've heard." Sylver replied, "LISTEN UP!!! Infestation Attack--Downtown, at 3 o'clock!" Briar smiled triumphantly, "All right ladies, let's go! It's hero time!" She said. "You mean 'Heroine Time', right?" Randi corrected. "Whatever!" Briar laughed but got serious and said, "Assemble and GO!!!" And off they went! Infestations were terrorizing the folks in the downtown city, Briar and the other girls rescued civilians from the monsters that crawl so fast, have sharp teeth, and blood thirsty intentions! Even scary looking! But things got crazier when debris was falling from buildings and crumbling from the weight of mass monsters. They were about to fall on Briar, who didn't noticed at the time, until the debris turned to ashes! Now that caught her attention and what she saw surprised her! A figure that looked like a robot but it was the suit. "Holy smokes!" thought Briar, "Look at him!" She didn't know what to say but she finally said, "Thank you." "Heh! No problem. But you look like you're new here so tell me--Who's your sponser?" The guy asked. That confused Briar for a moment, "Um, what are you talking about?" asked Briar. "You don't have a sponsor?" The guy asked, looking at her in disbelief. Briar looked mortified, if that guy could see which he couldn't! "Um, I don't think I--Am I supposed to?" She asked. "Well...Who are you toots?" The guy inquired, "You are a girl, right?" He managed to say. "Yes I am!" Briar confirmed, "My name's Morning Star and you are?" She smiled in. "They call me....WILD TIGER!!!!!" The guy said, Briar looked at him in amazement, "Wow." She said. "Yeah sorry, that was a mouthful but yeah, this is how I roll. I mean HeroTV comes up with this stuff..." Wild Tiger said with a slight chuckle. Briar had a weird look on her face, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! What are you talking about? What is HeroTV?" She asked. Wild Tiger glance at her, "You don't know? Why, HeroTV is a TV show where crime fighting is mainstream entertainment broadcasting." He explained. It felt like someone punch her in the gut hard, Briar couldn't believe it. "You're trying to tell me WE'RE ON TV!!!!" Briar cried. Wild Tiger weakly smirked, "Guess you didn't know, did you?" He teased. Briar let out an angry screech, she tackles Wild Tiger to the ground as his flames don't bother her all that much. "You mean to tell me we're on TV and I didn't know about it?!" She demanded. Wild Tiger look at her solemnly, "Welcome to Sternbild City, the whole world is watching us heroes." He answered. Briar lets go of him, "Terrific. Well, let's get to work." She replied darkly, and the two head off! Meanwhile; Chloe was overwhelmed by the swarm of Infestations and managed to fight them off with her dark powers. She lost her balance as she struggles. Thinking of her fear towards guns; Chloe thought: "How can I face my fears when I struggle to fight? How far can I go before reaching my limit?" An Infestation is about to pounce her until someone hold it back. Chloe looked to see who it was--It was a figure in a jumpsuit were mechanical. He was a pretty face, absolutely gorgeous. "What a cutie." Chloe thought, but shakes her head. "Stop Clo, focus! Concentrate." She told herself inside her mind. To this strange, beautiful disaster of her rescuer she said, "No way. Who the hell are you?" The mechanical clad hero turn to her and said, "The guy that saved your life." "Um, thank you." Chloe replied, it sounded confused like a question. She seemed interested in this guy, "So...One superhero to another, who are you?" She inquired. "Barnaby. Just Barnaby Brooks Jr." said the guy. "Barnaby..." Chloe said, that name gave her chills, "Wait! Do you have a secret identity?" She asked. "Don't have one." said Barnaby. "Oh crap! Why am I getting all shivering about?" She thought. "By any chance, are you aware of the circumstances?" Barnaby asked. "You got some sponsor?" Chloe was perplexed, "Um, what now?" She inquired. Later, she was alone after the disbelief of finding out that she was on TV live of HeroTV! Barnaby told her the same thing that Wild Tiger had told Morning Star. It was beyond her belief. "UGH! Sylver, I am going to rip you apart, you maniac pixie dream girl with a mad crazy, fantasist complex! You totally went out of your head! I'm getting her for this. One day!" Chloe said to herself. However she was faced with the Infestations and fought them with help from her dark powers. She smiled at her victory, "Yes! I feel good--almost as I did before!" Chloe said to herself. Just then, she heard from someone behind her. She turned and saw Barnaby applauding, "Huh? Have you been there the whole time?" asked Chloe. "Well, well. You're not so weak after all." said Barnaby. Chloe shrugged, "Just suffered a setback for a moment." She replied. "Hm. Tell me, who are you Hecate?" Barnaby inquired. "Me? I'm just a naive young girl who fell from the eye of the storm, walking down the yellow brick road in order to face the Wicked Witch of the West and the flying monkeys." Said Chloe. "Ah, Wizard of Oz huh? You look like someone trying to find her white rabbit but ends up facing the Queen's deck of cards." Barnaby remarked. "OK, I don't need a pretty faced, no secret identity man's help." said Chloe. She went away but she was surprised attack until Barnaby came to the rescue. Chloe almost fell but Barnaby swooped down and carried her in his arms like a groom carrying his bride. Chloe looked up at him as Barnaby smiled at her dazzlingly, "So, does the girl still doesn't need help from the 'pretty faced, no secret identity man'?" He flirted. Chloe rolled her eyes and muttered, "Oh brother!" but she moaned out loud, "OK, fine! Yes, please." So the two of them worked together to fight off the monsters. Chloe has a trust issue with Barnaby and cannot stand him while under her secret identity where she became skeptical of his intentions and suspicions. Afterwards; Chloe was at an internet cafe with the MPD as she researches on Barnaby: He was born from an intellectual yet wealthy and kind family but they were tragically killed by a monster name Maverick. Maverick messed with Barnaby emotionally and mentally as he contemplated into taking his own life because he couldn't take it anymore with this pain. Chloe is shocked of what she discovered and decides to investigate at his place. There she is attacked by a bunch of Infestations and knocked out. The Infestations were about to prey upon her when they all are knocked out at once. The person responsible was Barnaby! "Silly girl, do you think you could fool me that easily?" Barnaby snapped. After a while; Barnaby glance over at Chloe, who was still unconscious, on the sofa and Barnaby placed his glass down to examine her. "Cynical girls done their homework, do they...Chloe?" Barnaby said, "Black rose...dark angel...You sneaky girl. What are you really? Orphan? Runaway? A pure maiden? A rich girl in poverty? Maybe you're like me, you were shocked over the death of your parents and a monster tormented you until you couldn't take it anymore and wanted to pull the trigger on yourself." He start to trace her lips with his index finger gently, "I know you're no sponsor nor a superheroine or even born from Sternbild City or just moved here. I said this before...and I'll say it again...Whatever you're hiding, I'm going to find out soon enough." Barnaby continued. He was grazing her cheek with his knuckles. Then he noticed the bite mark of the Infestation on her neck, "What is that?" He thought. Barnaby glanced at her, "Well, well, well....What a tangled web you weaved. How much lies do you have for me, Black Rose?" He said, "You certainly bloom haven't you my black rose?" Meanwhile; Briar, as Morning Star, was facing Infestations as she was overpowered and her mask is torn to shreds. Wild Tiger found her and took her to the hospital where she was treated. Then, she woke up to see Kotetsu next to her. She moaned while waking up, "Hello Kotetsu." Briar greeted him. "So, you and Morning Star...The same person, I never knew that."  Kotetsu said. "I--" Briar was about to say but Kotetsu responds, "No it's fine, I understand. You wanted to be a hero right?" "Not like you, Wild Tiger." Briar said. Kotetsu looked at her shocked, "You knew?" He asked. "Wasn't hard to figure out." Briar replied. She revealed her true identity as an agent. Now things were about to get intense and very violent. Something deep inside Briar was about to break. She left hospital with her injuries healed and was wandering around. In the meantime; Sylver talks to Kotetsu to try and convince him the truth but Kotetsu wasn't sure what to believe until he finds out from the hospital that she left. It was then he learnt the truth about Briar and the other girls being agents all along. Kotetsu, Chloe and Barnaby managed to find Briar who was on the edge as she seemed upset and then, Briar lost control of her powers almost until Katrina came to rescue and calms her down. To make a long story short; Briar and the gang got the heroes of Sternbild City to help them out as they recruited them in the dark days to come. Once she got the parts out, she wants to continue with the tales going inside her head.
