Glory Days Believer: KatDon's Foreword

I had been fascinated with crossovers since she was a child. There was Cartoon All Stars; an anti drug program featuring cartoons such as Loonie Tunes, TMNT, Winnie the Pooh and more. Then, along came Kingdom Hearts: A boy name Sora wielding the power of the Keyblade. He is aided by Donald Duck and Goofy as they travel in a Gummy Ship while facing against the shadow monsters called Heartless! Ever since then, I have come up with ideas and daydreaming. As I got older, it got darker and darker with each year passing. It was then 2011 where I found her inspiration: A Zack Snyder film titled Sucker Punch. And then, I was enthralled by the go go dancer turned zombie hunter with a gun leg weapon Cherry Darling. And then there was Black Swan. Originally; I wanted to add Babydoll, Rocket, Amber, Blondie and Sweet Pea to her crossover but to my dismay—Rocket, Amber and Blondie are killed. Babydoll surrenders to the High Roller, Blue Jones—the baddie—is arrested and Sweet Pea escapes while living a normal life. I was inspired by Girl Interrupted, Virgin Suicides and I Spit On Your Grave. I created troubled girls on the point of suicide until Squad 11, from the anime Bleach, saves them. And one of the girls is inspired by the singer Ke$ha. Then, it got weirder where I wanted my protagonist to team up with Captain Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Ikkaku and Yumichika in a world wind of epic proportions before going for the hero legion. It got darker as the revenge ploy in Clockwork Orange however I thought it was too dark so I scraped that idea! I originally had animes of population: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Blue Exorcist, K, Karneval, Soul Eater, Gintama (thanks to the fascination with the Shinsengumi), Deadman Wonderland, Tokyo Ravens, A Certain Magical Index, Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan. I also added No More Heroes because of how cool Travis Touchdown was. But then I lost interest and didn’t have much interest in the animes so she scraped Naruto, One Piece, K, Soul Eater, Tokyo Ravens and A Certain Magical Index because of popularity gaining while also self pressure. However, she stick to the animes I desired as I added Tiger and Bunny, Noragami and Seraph of the End. While I did this: People doubted me, saying that it couldn’t happen but I wanted to prove them wrong. But I faced a horrible reality: Folks would think I was taking copyrights and plagiarizing as my own. But that was never intentionally going to plagiarize or take copyrights, never. I dreamt of just sharing this anime crossover to everyone and would give credit to the respectful owners however I got so much anxiety that I don't know what to do. It was then I heard about the Aurora Theatre Shooting, the Sandy Hook Massacre, the Kenya mall shooting and other horrors that I use these tragic events as background stories for my characters in my anime crossover. It poignantly struck me so much, I wasn’t doing this as being insensitive but rather I was felt painfully memorable by all this and my prayers for those people. I also was inspired by the Runaways’ Cherrie Currie and Joan Jett after the 2011 biopic came out and saw female empowerment through the movie. I came up with the name of Cherry or Cherie after the name of the singer and tried using the last names of the female band mates. I then changed the names to Mia, Krystal, Jasmine, Tristana and Verona. It was then I listened to Natalia Kills’ song “Wonderland” and came up with the names: Maggie Wolfe, Sadie Towers, etc. It was then I liked the character of Briar Devlin and was going to featured her later but decided to have her as the main protagonist and changed her around in back-stories and a lot of other complicated stuff before really laying it thick. While trying to get her anime crossover onto YouTube as a podcast; someone on Tumblr told me it would get much attention if I just wrote it but I refused because it would be too much work however I caved in and one person praised me for it. Soon, I became fascinated with One Piece Timeskip….Because of Sanji’s new look and…..the Vinsmoke family, another second spot on my shit list along with the number one person: Kureto Hiragi! So I added One Piece again!

BRIAR DEVLIN: Briar Devlin was supposed to come into the picture earlier in the drafts of Phenomenon Serendipity to replace Mia and her friends into the arc. She was supposed to be a badass and 'squeaky clean' like Kim Possible. But then, there came a dark time of tragedy struck her and things got a lot complicated however I have to change it, well, improvised on and made Briar the star of this crossover! Originally, I was supposed to do the 'tragedy' part and make Briar depressing and broken however it was too melancholia so I decide to give her a bit of hope in her. Strong willed and never back down. Let's just say I want her to be awesome like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I want her to be witty like Kim Possible, I want her to be kind and empathetic like James McAvoy's Charles Xavier. Briar Devlin was everything I wasn't: I'm clumsy, she was athletic. I was prone to temper tantrums and she was composed. However, she would tell me to love myself no matter what because she's so good natured. Briar Devlin also hates arguments because of the domestic violence she witnessed of her father inflicting on her mother so she always gets scary when she has to be the peace maker to rivals arguing all the time! She also doesn't take kindly to abusive parents who hurt people as she distaste to Vinsmoke or Hiragi. Briar is level headed like Sidney Prescott from Scream and uses her smarts to help save lives as she suffers from PTSD because of what happened to her 12 best friends. She's also similar to Sarah from the witching hour movie, The Craft. Briar's power came from Edward Cullen and Professor X (Telepathic), Carrie White (Telekinesis), Alice Cullen (Clairvoyance), X Men's Rogue (Absorb powers and copycat through touch) and Claire Bennett (Accelerate healing factor). It's also hinted that Briar has repairing abilities like Sephie from the comic book Meridian.

CHLOE BIRCHHART: In the earliest drafts of Chloe Birchhart's backstory; it was darker. Chloe was born into a cult, parents died in a car crash, her grandmother--the leader of the cult--is a fundamentalist Christian yet abusive, and Chloe has a cousin who has an incest crush on her. But it sounded like FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC. No offense but I didn't like incest romances, it seemed to creepy. Again, I have to change it to make it appropriate for the young adult audience. Chloe's past is similar to Rose McGowan's cult story: As a child; McGowan and her family were born into a cult where she and her family were sheltered off from the world and things in the cult that were considered a sin. There was also mentions about 'flirty fishing' and how Rose and her family escaped, they try to live in a house but then the cult members try to break down the door of their house. Rose wasn't an American, her family and herself were culture shock by their new home in the Land of Free: America. Rose McGowan is doing better, so it was amazing how this actress went through something so terrifying and it makes me feel better that celebrities aren't just 'idols' but they are human who go through things. I went through something cult related sort of and it ease the pain of it all. Hearing this story, made me inspired to do Chloe and I hated fundamental religious people so I wanted Chloe to have a reason to be 'afraid' of narrow minded religious people. I'm religious myself but I don't like how people think everything is a sin all the time and I was almost like that because a certain old crone had try to force feed us about 'The End Times' were 'approaching' and there were signs. At least she thought so. But she was the source to everyone's problem however that's another story. Chloe's powers are similar to Raven's dark powers. Though Chloe is not a demon nor have empathy related gifts; she makes it up in PHENOMENON SERENDIPITY 3 of being a harpy after being attacked. Chloe is similar to Cassie Hack of Hack/Slash, Chloe wears outfits similar to Cassie Hack and sometimes make up because of dark powers. I came across Gabrielle Wilde from the 2013 remake Carrie and wanted her to be the design for Chloe's character, hell I want her to voice Chloe in the anime crossover.

RANDI KERR: Randi Kerr was modeled and named after the youthful, gorgeous Australian model name Miranda Kerr. First time I came across her while surfing the web and she was on a magazine cover, she looked so beautiful and young. Randi was once married to the actor, Orlando Bloom, I was shocked. He was taller and he was older than her. She seemed like she deserved someone at her height and around her age but it was OK. Nymphs in mythology were described as pretty and have these powers so I had this idea to make Randi into a beautiful half nymph-half human girl. During the creation; I wanted Randi to be the impediment of True Beauty: True beauty is reflected in one's soul—being truthful, honest, helpful, and trustworthy. Smiling at others even when you are having a bad day, complimenting someone and meaning it, spending time with family and friends, kindness, and most importantly being the best person that you can be. True beauty radiates from the most beautiful feature in the world - the heart. Other words that describe their attractiveness include kind, compassionate, gentle, and sweet. They are mindful of those around them and always look to build and encourage. Their words are uplifting and their actions are selfless.
MAGGIE WOLFE: Red Hot Riding Hood. Big Bad She Wolf. Lady Lumberjack. Vicious, sexy and broken girl who is an agent of Evermore. Maggie Wolfe was wronged, she got revenge, she's crazy but she's sweet around the edges if you 'rub' her the right way. Take a look at the inspirations I have on her that made this work.
Deadman Wonderland: Deadman Wonderland is a Japanese manga series written by Kazuma Kondou and illustrated by Jinsei Kataoka, who also wrote and illustrated the Eureka Seven manga, and published in Shōnen Ace since 2008. Ten years later, the story shifts to Ganta Igarashi, a seemingly ordinary student attending Nagano Prefecture's middle school. As an escapee, a survivor of the great earthquake, Ganta has no memories of the tragedy and has lived a normal life. This all changes when a strange person covered in blood and crimson armor floats through his classroom windows. Grinning madly, the 'Red Man' massacres Ganta's entire class but instead of killing him, embeds a red crystal shard in Ganta's chest. Within days of the massacre, Ganta is subjected to a kangaroo court as a suspect and is sentenced to death at Deadman Wonderland, a prison that doubles as a theme park. Arriving at the prison, Ganta is fitted with a special collar which monitors his location and vital signs. A lethal poison is constantly injected into his bloodstream through the collar, but it can be neutralized by consuming a peculiar candy-like medicine every three days, which can be acquired through various activities in the prison, performing for audiences, working backstage and purchasing with Cast Points (a form of currency among inmates at Deadman Wonderland). To gather Cast Points, an inmate must perform in the facility's lethal games and survive. Fortunately for Ganta, he is aided by a mysterious albino girl named Shiro who apparently knows Ganta but whose existence is unknown to the other prisoners. While trying to survive as an inmate on death row, Ganta intends to find the 'Red Man' to clear his name. In a bizarre twist, Ganta begins to develop the ability to manipulate his own blood, to the point of turning it into a weapon. Unknown to Ganta, he has become one of the prison's "Deadmen," an isolated group of prisoners possessing the Branches of Sin an ability which makes them capable of controlling their blood. Once seeing this anime and the powers of each of these characters; I was impressed by all this. And that's how I was inspired to give an ability like
Cherry Bomb (2011 version): Set in 1984 in a small Texas town, Cherry Bomb follows the story of Cherry, an exotic dancer who is sexually assaulted by a group of men in the club where she works. Upon waking in the hospital, Cherry soon comes to find that all of the men have escaped justice, seemingly due to the help of corrupt local law enforcement. Against all odds, Cherry teams up with her estranged brother and vows revenge against the men who left her emotionally and physically broken. But things don't always go as planned, and Cherry finds herself up against the police, a vicious hired gun, and a barrage of unexpected consequences as she strives for vengeance. This was Maggie's backstory like this however it was too graphic so I changed it a little but it is still in there.
Carnage: Carnage was once a serial killer known as Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote called Venom during a prison breakout. The symbiote amplified his psychotic nature making him even less mentally stable than he had been previously, and therefore even more dangerous. An interesting note is that, unlike Venom, Carnage is a singular entity, referring to himself as "I" instead of "We", because the symbiote has actually merged into Kasady's bloodstream. This is where I created Manifestation in the bloodline of Maggie Wolfe and wanted to create creatures similar to Carnage. I remember the Carnage Ock from the Spider Man video game in the 90's and it hasn't left my brains since! So I love to see Maggie as a sexually violent girl with a red symbiotic exoskeleton and raise some hell!
Kesha: Kesha Rose Sebert, or better known as Ke$ha, is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. In 2005, at age 18, Kesha was signed to producer Dr. Luke's label Kemosabe Records. Her breakthrough came in early 2009 after appearing on American rapper Flo Rida's number-one single "Right Round". Kesha's music and image propelled her to immediate success, with her debut album Animal premiering at the top of the charts in several countries. She achieved 3 more number-one singles, "Tik Tok" and "We R Who We R" as a solo artist, and "Timber" as a featured artist. At the same time, she continued to write songs for other artists, becoming respected as a songwriter. Warrior, her second studio album, was released in 2012, and spawned her eighth consecutive top-ten single "Die Young". "Tik Tok", at one point, was the best-selling digital single in history, selling over 14 million units internationally. I didn't want to make Maggie a singer but some of the songs are inspiring for Maggie: She wants to get revenge, cause mayhem and party in a pool of blood. THAT'S NOT WHAT KESHA IS ALL ABOUT but I felt like that's what Maggie thinks. BLOW is about Maggie and Squad 11 causing bloodshed and mayhem to enemies they come across. It could be possible that Maggie Wolfe is a fan of Kesha!
TILDA OXFORD: Tilda was supposed to be the main protagonist because I was obsessed with Hitsugaya, Lamia Scale and other shit so I wanted to focus on that but then, a little voice in my head was like: "What about the other characters?" So yeah...I had to focus on other characters and came up with Ba-rie! Anyway....Moving on! Originally; Tilda had a rival-friend relationship with Maggie Wolfe because of the the term I used 'blood over water' so yeah, pretty clever. Tilda's water and ice powers are similar to Katara's Waterbending: Katara is highly skilled in Waterbending which utilizes chinese martial arts techniques of "internal style" T'ai chi ch'uan and Jeet Kune Do; Katara is the only surviving Master of "Southern Tribe Yang-style" after the 100 year genocide. Waterbending represents the element of change, and is categorized as the most adaptive or pliable of the "four bending arts". Waterbending emphasizes "softness and breathing" over "hard aggression"; fluid and graceful, acting in concert with the environment; creating opportunities where none exist; this "flow of energy" allows their defensive maneuvers to translate into focus on control and counter-offenses, turning their opponents' momentum against them. Despite these advantages, Waterbending is almost entirely dependent on inertia; it is essential for practitioners to not be rigid, but to be fluid and able to adapt to any situation. Katara has demonstrated to be a formidable opponent to her enemies, able to fight on equal terms with Azula and Long Feng. Katara eventually outmatched the fire nation princess to demonstrate the extent of her skill. Without the aid of a full moon, Katara can use water to cut through objects; summon lashing waves and whips of varying sizes; cover herself with a sheath of water; surf on a length of ice; run and stand on the surface of water; melt and control existing ice; form ice into various shapes; freeze water and objects surrounded by water with little effort; create walls of mist and steam; transform steam into ice; evaporate large amounts of water; or derive a weapon from any moisture including her own perspiration. She can control huge amounts of water at a time, forming huge waves and bubbles of water. On one instance, Katara knocked down the entire Dai Li, Zuko, and Azula while riding atop a giant wave. As with all Waterbenders, Katara's powers max under the influence of a full moon. Katara demonstrates the ability to levitate and control water-based liquids, as well as pure water. BADA BING, BADA BOOM--MY INSPIRATION!

MARINA LEAR: In my previous drafts for Phenomenon Serendipity; Marina Lear was supposed to be a spunky Spanish girl with confidence and a dark side for revenge. However, she needed more work. I remember hearing this story at my school about how a Spanish girl deals with racism from white girls bullying them. The author herself was dealing with racism that involved around Latinas and Latinos. That sparked with the inspiration that Marina needed for her backstory. As for Marina's name? It came very a special singer--like Avril Lavigne--Marina Lambrini Diamandis (born 10 October, 1985), better known by her stage name Marina & the Diamonds (yes, it's just one person), is a Welsh singer-songwriter. Signed to 679 Recordings, she released her debut album, The Family Jewels in Febuary 2010, her second, Electra Heart, in April 2012, and her third, Froot, in March 2015. Electra Heart went to #1 in the UK and Ireland. Her stage name, "Marina & the Diamonds", consists of Diamandis' first name and the translation of her surname which means "Diamonds" in Greek. Although "The Diamonds" is often mistakenly believed to refer to her backing band, it in fact refers to Diamandis' fans: she explains this on her Myspace page by saying "I'm Marina. You are the diamonds." Diamandis' musical style ranges from keyboard-based ballads to more up-tempo New Wave-style songs with full band backing. Marina means "of the sea", Lambrini means "bright" or "shining", and Diamandis (of course) means "diamonds." Meaning her full name can be translated as "shining diamonds of the sea." So the name 'Marina' became an inspiration for Marina Lear, Marina and the Diamonds were my inspiration and I love Marina's singing voice--her songs are amazing.

KATRINA SALVATORE: Previously in my Phenomenon Serendipity drafts; Katrina was a crazy, wicked, vengeful young lady who gets defeated and becomes an ally who is tortured for the actions she caused and atones her sins. Katrina was supposed to be Briar's doppelganger and be the confusion for everyone's problems. But this was losing interest for me. I changed all that and decide to give some decency for Kat and she became something satisfying however I felt bad for not using the original idea. Oh well, it's OK. Here are the inspirations for Katrina Salvatore....Black Swan: Black Swan is a 2010 American psychological horror film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The screenplay by Mark Heyman, Andres Heinz and John McLaughlin is from a story by Heinz. It stars Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Mila Kunis, Barbara Hershey and Winona Ryder. The plot revolves around a production of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake ballet by a prestigious New York City ballet company. The production requires a ballerina to play the innocent and fragile White Swan, for which the committed dancer Nina is a perfect fit, as well as the dark and sensual Black Swan, which are qualities better embodied by the new arrival Lily. Nina is overwhelmed by a feeling of immense pressure when she finds herself competing for the part, causing her to lose her tenuous grip on reality and descend into a living nightmare. Katherine from Vampire Diaries: Katerina Petrova (Bulgarian: Катерина Петрова; English: Katherine Pierce), is a fictional character from the hit TV series, The Vampire Diaries. Born June 5, 1473, Katherine is the ultimate doppelgänger, descended from Amara and Tatia. She is an ex-vampire and the ex-lover to both Salvatore brothers, Damon and Stefan. She first appears as Katherine Pierce in recurring flashbacks to 1864, which feature her romantic entanglements with the Salvatore brothers. She managed to turn them both into vampires, but she was consequently captured by the townspeople of Mystic Falls to be killed in Fells Church where they planned to lock the vampires in before setting it alight. She later appears in present day. Behind her sweet-nature facade, a much more calculating side of Katherine is revealed through flashbacks in which she escaped certain death with the help of George Lockwood, (at the expense of all the other vampires in town) in 1864. After 145 years, Katherine returns to Mystic Falls, toying with the Salvatores again and has a hidden agenda. Katherine earns no love after she turns Caroline Forbes into a vampire and uses a werewolf, Mason Lockwood, to retrieve a mysterious moonstone. Eventually she is exposed as a doppelgänger who has spent her immortal life fleeing from an Original vampire/werewolf hybrid, named Klaus. During Katherine's five centuries of life she became one of the most ruthless, notorious and infamous vampires in history. Katherine promises John Gilbert that she will help protect her descendant Elena Gilbert, even though the younger doppelgänger is her competition for the Salvatores' affections. She is initially portrayed as the main antagonist, but upon the arrival of Elijah, one of the Original vampires, Katherine is clearly terrified by the prospect of finally being caught by Klaus. Once she escapes at the end of the second season, she flees Mystic Falls almost immediately. Later returning to Mystic Falls in season 4; killing Elena's brother Jeremy Gilbert, to acquire a cure for vampirism while trying to negotiate a deal with Klaus for her freedom. This however; backfires on her, when Elena shoves the cure into her mouth during a fight, turning her human. Over the next season Katherine finds her long lost daughter, Nadia Petrova. Katherine's body is over 500 years and can't hold up to her being human. So, together Katherine and Nadia decide to plant Katherine's soul into Elena's body, but once Elena's friends discover this, she is stabbed to be extracted from Elena's body and she dies beside her daughter who dies just moments earlier from a hybrid bite.

Ah, Sylver Eden. Sylver Eden, my darling. My how much you've grown~! Originally in the drafts, she was supposedly a shy, wimpy girl who then takes a serum because she wants to be like Briar Devlin and goes through risky things. Sometimes deadly however it didn't appeal to me so I decided to change her schtick a little more. Sylver Eden is based on myself: I am diagnosed with highly functioned autism, I went through meltdowns and I am not suffering from autism as if it was a mental illness--It's part of who I am but I have anxiety sometimes and I am hypersensitive to unexpected loud noises so that's why I based Sylver on myself because I wanted her to be extraordinary than most but she still wants to socialize with other people. In Florida; people used to tell me I have to 'deal with it' and I dealt with a lot of things that people back there didn't care about which upset me and I begin to hate people like that. They couldn't understand, no matter how hard I try to cut classes that involved with laughter, or movies in crowds, nobody knew. It got better a little when I got older but I still struggle with hypersensitivity of loud noises. Anyway, I'm ranting a lot...I needed to change her and make her a badass in the middle of Phenomenon Serendipity, I wanted her to be a surprise when something happens and then all hell breaks loose.

RIVER TAM: During River's early childhood, she grew up alongside her brother, Simon, part of the wealthy Tam family on the "core" planet of Osiris. She was extremely gifted intellectually from a very young age and also very graceful. She has been portrayed and described consistently as having always had both a strong thirst for knowledge and a love for and intuitive grasp of dance. By the time she was 14 years old, she had grown “bored” with her studies and was already in the graduate program for physics. It was at this point that she was sent to a government learning facility known as "The Academy". While her parents and Simon believed the Academy was a private school meant to nurture the gifts of talented children, it was in fact a cover for a government experiment in creating assassins. While in the hands of the Alliance doctors and scientists, River was secretly and extensively experimented on, including surgery that damaged her amygdala. According to Simon, the Alliance attempted to isolate River from her family, though she managed to send a call for help by putting a coded message in a letter to her brother. Simon decoded the message and set out to rescue his then 16-year-old sister, despite his parents' insistence that he was being paranoid. Simon exhausted his personal fortune and sacrificed a promising career in medicine, but eventually located and freed River with the help of anti-governmental groups. The R. Tam sessions depict her descent into insanity, and also portray hints of her psychic abilities. River has strong “intuitive” abilities and can easily understand complex subjects. River is mostly barefoot throughout the series. When not barefoot, she tends to favor heavy steel toe capped boots that appear incongruous with the dresses she wears. Summer Glau is a badass bitch as River, I wanted Sylver to be an exported character of Miss River Tam. While Sylver is not psychic like River; she does seem abnormal but is a crazy badass chick you don't want to mess with. Sylver constantly gets herself into danger however always finds a way out of any situation.

WHITE OLEANDER: Astrid Magnussen is a 15 year old girl, living in California. Her mother, Ingrid, is a beautiful, free-spirited poet. Their life, though unusual, is satisfying until one day, a man named Barry Kolker comes into their lives, and Ingrid falls madly in love with him, only to have her heart broken, and her life ruined. For revenge, Ingrid murders Barry with the deadly poison of her favourite flower: The White Oleander. She is sent to prison for life, and Astrid has to go through foster home after foster home. Throughout nearly a decade she experiences forbidden love, religion, near-death experiences, drugs, starvation, and how it feels to be loved. But throughout these years, she keeps in touch with her mother via letters to prison. And while Ingrid's gift is to give Astrid the power to survive, Astrid's gift is to teach her Mother about love. While Sylver was an orphan and went through foster homes; she dealt with abusive fathers, dysfunctional foster families and just people in general that get on her nerves soooo badly! I wanted her to have a reason for hating screwed up, evil families like Vinsmoke and Hiragi.

They're creepy and they're crazy, Mysterious and bloody, They're altogether thrilly, The Fury Family. Their ways is a slaughterhouse, When people come grouse. They really are a trip, The Fury Family. *Snap Twice* Haha, saw that didn't ya? But all joking aside; they really are a scream because of the horror they've done. They are the representatives of revenge; they are banshees, harpies and Furies. I was inspired by creepy girls, the concept of revenge and crazy things. Please enjoy!

CARRIE: Carrie White is the title character and protagonist of Stephen King's novel Carrie. In every adaptation and portrayal of Carrie, she is portrayed as a high school outcast, loathed, taunted, scorned, insulted, slandered, confronted and verbally and physically abused by students and her mother Margaret White, an abusive, mentally ill and unstable religious fanatic. At the age of seventeen, she has her first menstrual period in the showers at school, awakening her dormant telekinetic and telepathic abilities. After being humiliated in front of the entire school during the prom, in a cruel prank involving pig's blood, an enraged Carrie uses her powers to massacre her classmates and the entire town of Chamberlain, Maine.

ALMA WADE: Alma Wade is a major antagonist and key figure in the F.E.A.R. series of first-person shooter horror video games by Monolith Productions, introduced in F.E.A.R. in 2005. The plot of the series revolve around the mystery of Alma. In terms of background story, Alma is similar to Alessa Gillespie from Silent Hill, a horror/survival title developed by Konami. Both have a parent never mentioned (Alma's mother and Alessa's father) and suffered great abuse at the hands of the other, and the two later use their psychic powers to take revenge on those who caused their suffering. Both exhibit immense psionic powers, including the ability to create monsters from the depths of their minds. At seven, it was decided they'd be used to give birth. The two of them were forcibly impregnated through unnatural means and were still adolescents when they gave birth. It's also important to note that both Alessa and Alma delivered newborns to the protagonists in the endings of their respective games before disappearing. Coincidentally, both their names start with 'Al'. In personality and physical appearance, Alma is very closely matched with the film version of Alessa, who is much more emotionally unstable and vengeful than her game counterpart. Like Alma, the film version of Alessa also appears as a child throughout the film, until near the end, where she is seen as a badly injured adult woman. Other notable influences include the Anime film Akira, in the sense that she was kept in stasis because of her immense psychic powers, similar to the film's title character, as well as having a terrible childhood and using her new found powers as revenge against those who or imagined by her have wronged her in the past, not unlike the film's antagonist, Tetsuo Shima. Additionally, other characters in fiction possessing extremely similar traits to her include the title character from Carrie, and Lucy from the anime Elfen Lied.

PAXTON FETTEL: "He deserved to die. They all deserve to die." Paxton Fettel is the main antagonist of F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon, as well as appearing in F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn. He returns in F.E.A.R. 3, this time as a playable character working alongside his brother, the Point Man. Paxton displayed psychic and psionic abilities from the earliest stages of childhood. Like his brother, he inherited these abilities from his mother, Alma Wade, suggesting a genetic link as an explanation for Alma's psychic powers. As a child, Fettel displayed the ability to destroy objects at the molecular level through telekinesis. This ability ranged from levitating a toy gun to causing grown mens' heads to violently explode. He would also telekinetically levitate, move and shake his bed during nightmares. Rosemary Fury was inspired by Paxton Fettel, a female version of Paxton much?

PHANTASMAGORIA THE VIDEO GAME: Phantasmagoria is a point-and-click adventure game designed by Roberta Williams for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows. Released by Sierra On-Line on August 24, 1995, it tells the story of Adrienne Delaney, a writer who moves into a remote mansion and finds herself terrorized by supernatural forces. Made at the peak of popularity for interactive movie games, Phantasmagoria features live-action actors and footage, both during cinematic scenes and within the three-dimensional rendered environments of the game itself. Upon release, it was noted for its graphic gore, violence, and sexual content. I used one scene from this video game for the sequel of my crossover. One scene inspired me to write for Phenomenon Serendipity 2 was when Adrienne visits the nearly 110-year-old Malcolm Wyrmshadow, who had been Carno's apprentice as a young boy. Malcolm reveals that Carno met his demise after his last wife, Marie, discovered he was a murderer. Marie conspired with her lover, Gaston, to kill Carno by sabotaging the equipment for his most infamous and dangerous escapology trick, in which Carno dons a burning hood and escapes from bonds on a throne underneath a swinging axe. The sabotage leaves Carno horribly burned and disfigured, but he survives and viciously attacks Marie and Gaston. After killing Marie by beheading her, Carno is killed by Gaston, who then succumbs to his own wounds. Malcolm tells Adrienne about a ritual that can eradicate the demon.

Benjamin Hallows: Like it or not, the tragic 'villain' who becomes an ally to Evermore and lover to Sylver Eden. Ben Hallows is an almost exported chatacter of 2015 version of Victor Frankenstein. Ben's name came from....BEN BURNLEY FROM BREAKING BENJAMIN. Benjamin Jackson "Ben" Burnley IV (born March 10, 1978) is an American musician, composer, and record producer, best known as the founder and frontman of the American rock band Breaking Benjamin. As the sole constant of the group, Burnley has served as its principal songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist since its inception in 1992. Since signing with Hollywood Records in 2002, Burnley has composed five studio albums under the name Breaking Benjamin, two of which have reached platinum and one of which has reached gold in the United States. Outside of Breaking Benjamin, Burnley has also collaborated with acts such as Adam Gontier and Red. Lead singer of Breaking Benjamin; In 1998, Burnley and former lead guitarist Aaron Fincke, got together (along with Nick Hoover and Chris Lightcap) and started the band "Breaking Benjamin." Eventually, Ben wanted to try something different and went out to California to try some new material. The other three members went on to form the band Strangers With Candy (later known as Lifer). They recruited old friend Mark Klepaski to play bass and he joined in, and shortly after, Nick Hoover was asked to leave the band. In 1999, Ben Burnley moved back to Pennsylvania, and started a band called "Plan 9" with drummer Jeremy Hummel. Originally, the band was a three-piece. The lineups consisted of Ben on vocals and guitar, Jeremy on drums, and Jason Davoli on bass. Plan 9 would occasionally open for Lifer at home shows. During one show, Ben said "Thank you, we're Breaking Benjamin," thus reclaiming the name from 1998. Later on, Mark left Lifer and found himself playing bass for Breaking Benjamin. Lifer continued going through struggles, and months later, Aaron sat in for a set with Benjamin. Finally, Aaron left Lifer, and was offered a spot in Ben Burnley's band, and they became a four-piece.

Taylor Timmons: Taylor Timmons is a pun name of YouTuber name TalesofTim. Some parts of Ben's life were inspired from TalesofTim, who is known for reading Creepypasta sometimes but has his own works: FELLS GLEN & THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT. Hell, I think TalesofTim, MrCreepyPasta and many other readers actually inspired Taylor Timmons but also Taylor is an exported character of Igor from the 2015 version of Victor Frankenstein. What is CreepyPasta? Creepypastas are horror-related legends or images that have been copy-and-pasted around the Internet. These Internet entries are often brief, user-generated, paranormal stories intended to scare readers. They include gruesome tales of murder, suicide, and otherworldly occurrences. According to Time magazine, the genre had its peak audience in 2010 when it was covered by The New York Times.

VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN (2015): Victor is a man of unbridled passion while Igor is a man of moderation and reason, but there's some undertones as Igor is bare-chested when Victor attempts to straighten the abnormal curvature in his back. Most of why Igor is so willing to follow Victor around and do as he's told even when he's unhappy about it stems from the fact that Victor essentially gave Igor an entirely new and non-miserable existence by hauling him out of the circus. Igor even mentions this to Lorelei as the main reason why he has to go and help Victor in the finale. Igor and Victor are close, but their friendship is an unhealthy one, and it's especially harmful for Igor. These two guys have such a good time together, and as an audience, I think you want them to be together. It's exciting, they have all these adventures that's half the time. The other half the time, if you ever wanted to see Igor utterly abused, and beaten up, and hurt, and embarrassed, and just manipulated by me, then that's your movie. So half the time the audience is like, "Aww, these guys are great together," and the other half the time, they go, "Please Igor, run away now!" Even it's unknown if he is gay or asexual, Victor has a few waistcoats with either a floral or paisley print, and at one point he wears a striking purple suit, which is very showy in comparison to the attire of the other male characters. While Victor was intelligent of a mad scientist; Igor is able to perform surgery on a heart, a liver, and a pair of lungs and can pop a broken bone back into place in under a minute with improvised materials. He is able to view a fevered patient and decide upon a medicinal regimen for them almost instantly. He also understands how the nerves controlling the eyes work, and can tell at a glance that Victor has wired them wrong. He managed to learn all of this from books and treating his co-performers at the circus. So Igor is not just an assistant but he's much smarter. Riddle me this why do you think Frankenstein revives the undead monsters to life? He fears death. I mean, he lost his brother in his life that haunts him. His obsession with reviving the undead. And how he shares the ideas of resurrection of death into life: "I dream of a world where hope replaces fear...Where a cripple man could be healed and revive to walk again...Life is beautiful...." He fears death as he has ideas like these!

MAD FATHER: Mad Father is a free-ware horror-puzzle game created by Miscreant's Room made with Wolf RPG Editor, their second game after Misao. A young German girl named Aya Drevis is living at home with her father simply known as the Doctor and his assistant Maria. One night, Aya hears her father scream and finds her house riddled with corpses and other supernatural things trying to kill her. Not wanting to leave without her father, Aya decides to brave the house and look for him, all while encountering the horrors of what her father has really done. Mad Father takes place in northern Germany, where an 11-year old protagonist, Aya Drevis, lives with her parents, Alfred and Monika Drevis, and their maid Maria. Aya is a shy girl who never goes outside. Her mother is incredibly ill, while her father performs secret research in his laboratory in the house's basement, with the assistance of Maria. Neither Aya nor Monika know the truth of what he is actually doing, though both are curious to find out. Monika dies. One year later, on the anniversary of Monika's death, Aya awakens at midnight to find herself surrounded by test subjects that escaped from the laboratory. Fleeing back into her room, Aya encounters the mysterious salesman Ogre, who offers her the task of solving puzzles to break into her father's laboratory and uncover his secret. Benjamin Hallows

SANDER COHEN FROM BIOSHOCK: Sander Cohen is a poet, composer, sculptor, and playwright ruling over Fort Frolic. Originally a renowned artist of many forms who practiced in New York City, Cohen became a leading figure in Rapture's art community. Following the descent of Rapture into chaos, he went mad and became sadistically impassive to the deaths and suffering of others. The Splicers within his dominion are subject entirely to his whims, whether in life or death. All around Fort Frolic can be seen examples of his "art;" plaster figures of people who are, in fact, horrifically murdered Splicers and other unfortunates coated in plaster. Sander Cohen was the inspiration for Marcello Hallows and I just wanted to give a background information about Ben's life.
