E'Calypso Wanderlust--Part 3

This is Part 3 of E'Calypso, my childhood haunts me--In a good way, at least in some good parts. Hope you guys like it! --KatDon

Part 3: Love Will Find a Way

In a dream: Young Arwen got a phone call at school about her sister being dead. Arwen can’t believe what she’s hearing, she is in disbelief. Things have gone bad and she’s confused about the stage of the death of her sister, she wants to know what is really going on. Impressions left in her heart like someone punch her in the gut. Just then, a little voice in her head trying to bring her back to reality. She doesn’t want to believe her sister is dead, and is conflicted. “Yeah, I know my sister are dead, ok.” She thought. But she doesn’t really believe it. She thinks it’s all a dream and she’ll wake up soon. Arwen finally realizes she is still around, while her sister is dead. In the dream she has now about a field of paper flowers, and 'candy clouds of lullaby'. Rather than deal with life, Arwen would rather “lie inside for hours” and live a fantasy life in her imagination. Arwen wishes that people not to say she’s ignorant of what her life holds, that she knows and sees it as “rampant chaos”, saying it’s not her reality. Arwen says here that she does know what her life entails, and she retreats to sleep to avoid all that in the ultimate escapism. She sees real life as a nightmare. The time before sleep, in the quiet darkness is often used for contemplation and reflection, something which Arwen would rather avoid; she doesn’t want to dwell on her life. So she creates her own sounds, so she doesn’t have the peace and quiet to think about her life. Despite it being fake, Arwen longs for it desperately. She knows it all “imaginary light” that none of it’s real, but she also knows that she can be a goddess in her own imagination, in her deep deep sleep.

Arwen is wondering if Samael she has feelings for, has the same feelings as her. Samael makes a scene of himself for attention, that guy who runs through the mall killing and tries to take out the zombies. He makes up for awkwardness and a skewed outlook on life by being annoying and overly flashy. Here, Samael takes on the thuggish, masking himself in fake threats and invisible enemies to seem cool. When finally alone, the tough guy act falls apart, leaving the guy Arwen loves. Without people to validate his images and make his fake personalities seem necessary, his real character comes out. He’s always acting stupid just to fit in and appear “cool”, but when he acts like that, Arwen can’t help but see him as a different person. The person comes over without being invited into the group, and people notice. Samael is dressed as they would feel most comfortable--for the killer. He isn’t being a 'straight man' by trying to be a cold hearted killer. The way he is acting and dressing makes Arwen masks her fright with a laugh because he looks really ominous. “Everyone can tell that you are pretending to be someone you’re not, so stop it.” She thought, "Life’s not easy at all. First, you fight and fall for something, later you will get what you deserve." There once was a girl name Malina. They were total opposites. He was a punk and she was a prima ballerina but just because he was punk did not mean he didn’t like ballet girls. Malina's friends did not agree with her feelings for this guy. They wanted each other, but he's felt he was not good enough. Her head was swollen with confidence so she felt greater than him. They’re simply just a boy and a girl. They were in love and they are awesome together. They made a song about that experience being rejected. But it faded into oblivion.

In another dream; Arwen’s waiting for someone at the bridge. The rain could mean the depressing moment she is in right now. She doesn’t hear anyone around. She thinks she’s alone and nobody wants her. Arwen wants to leave wherever she is. Whoever is it that’s facing the same things as she is, she’s with them. It's a fact--Arwen’s weird, She laughs herself to sleep which is the complete opposite of what most sad people do. The adrenaline rush she gets when doing dangerous things makes her feel alive. It’s boring to do what others expect you to do. She wants to do things to the extreme. She wants people to push her to edge just to feel alive however she says, "Whatever you do, don’t think." But can't help to wonder, "Is dying enough to be out of the ordinary?" She doesn’t want to be like everyone else. She’d rather be individual and have people call her “weird” than be like everyone else. Calypso’s finally found the success she was looking for but is stressing out about it because she’s scared it might not be exactly what she wanted. Once she was signed with her first record label, she knew this was it, it was all going to change, and she began to have absent minded second thoughts about whether this will all go to plan. Calypso pretended to get what she wanted to be happy. Calypso can't keep her mind on things for long. She can't feel or be her self, she’s hoping this is worth it. Her obsession with becoming a star is making her lose touch with her priorities. She has fooled herself into thinking that this is the only way to achieve her dream. She doesn’t feel that she can change and start opening up when she has been silent her whole life. Calypso might not want to show any weakness, she could be so overwhelmed by the sadness she feels that she cannot yell loud enough for people to hear and has pushed so many people away from her that there is simply no-one there to help. She doesn’t feel worthy of having friends or lovers, because she will just hurt them in the end. Calypso has been basically turned into a robotic shell of herself. She doesn’t have any happiness, nor sadness; just her thoughtless body, drifting through life purely on routine. Calypso lacks of happiness only drives her want to succeed more. Calypso seems to have been consumed by the thought that only success and victory will make her happy in the end, though she doesn’t seem to realize the process is having an adverse effect.

After she climbs, she’ll wonder why she gave up feeling alive, simply for people to know her name. Although inside she is unhappy and miserable, to everyone else she is a successful star, and that’s all that’s important to her. Her view on the issue seems distorted, as she has a casual approach to the fact that she is sacrificing her own happiness in order to impress others. Calypso's looking for the happiness and success she has been missing. Through all of this, she is terrified of true success and stardom. She knows that often the most successful people come crashing down at some point without any warning, and their careers die. They have become a pitiful, useless ‘empty lighter’. Calypso is more or less stating that it’s nobody else’s business what she wants to do, because it’s her life, and that nobody can stop her from doing what she wants to do. her problems are her problems, people who are judging her and discussing her problems are irrelevant, she is warning people not to be concerned about what she’s doing and to leave her be, she can handle this her own way without much criticism towards her. Calypso wants success and is unhappy with the state of her life as is. However, she doesn’t know for sure that success will make her happy once she gets it. Calypso describes her pop star life. It seems to be a normal girl’s, but it really isn’t. She wakes up early in the morning just like everybody does but the next lyric suggest a situation that is not typical for a normal girl’s life. It seems she’s always surrendered by tens of people whose job is to follow her. In the world of celebrity, looks go a very long way. Everything about their appearance has to be flawless. Media and tabloid papers make a lot of drama out of stars spotted looking worse for wear or when they notice an imperfection.

Even though celebrities are just human and are not perfect, they always has to look as if they’d be. Mass audiences show a special interest in the private lives of entertainers and celebrities. The public wants to know everything about famous people. An artist’s fan base is always looking for new material from their idols. In other words, a celebrity is thoroughly analyzed. Everybody consider Calypso a lucky person relying on appearances but nobody really knows what is like to be her. Her life is considered to be perfect when it actually isn’t. Her successful life has drowned her and deceived her into believing she leads a fairy life. She is captivated in a world created by the media. Mass-media creates the illusion that a celebrity’s life is perfection. They cause you to think a famous person can do anything and that money is ensure of a happy life when it actually isn’t in reality. She has become a victim of all these. She’s becoming more successful, climbing into the music industry. Her name has become sonority. She’s aware that each evolving comes with an involution and she’s afraid of the moment when the public will stop being interested in her. This moment is meant to show a part of a star’s life and how on the surface it seems gorgeous while deeper it is a mess. It comes in contradiction with the video scenes that show how Calypso really feels inside. Calypso’s life is described by others: Audience, media, public. They judge her life only on what they see and they can’t accept she’s not as happy as she seems to be. Looks can be deceiving. Even though people think she is the happiest person on earth the truth is far from that. Her lonely heart represents the fact that even though she’s never lonely literally, she feels alone inside.

Her actual life, that of a globally known singer and celebrity, does not bring her happiness. Calypso's loss of her true nature stripped of the veneer of being a celebrity. Nobody will ever save her from being a celebrity. Celebrities like her, who have given into the loss of identity and become obsessed with the spotlight, are now simply the puppets of others, or the fool everybody laughs at. However, it was a dream she had and she was worried. She couldn't stop thinking about it. Nobody seem to notice her depressed attitude. The only one who noticed was Kylta, he saw right through her and made her realize the emptiness she was enduring. Calypso is feeling lonely and depressed until this person reaches out to her and makes her feel alive again. This guy is now her life line. He is her only chance to escape the numbness she feels. He can’t leave her, not now. Without him, she has no reason to live—he is the torch that warms her heart and brings happiness into her life. He brings her dead spirit to life. Calypso can’t believe that she’s been in this depression this whole time, and he hasn’t noticed at all. Calypso has pretended to be happy for so long that she doesn’t even know true happiness. She’s in an unwanted dream, and she can’t wake up. She wants him to help her feel alive by bidding her blood to run throughout her body. For so long, she has felt nothing but emptiness. She is pleading for someone to open her eyes to joy before she completely loses all hope. Now Calypso’s going to tell him all that she has done for him, which includes crying immensely over him. She has been doing her best to try to get him to listen — screaming, deceiving and bleeding for him.

Even after all that he still will not listen. She does not want his help this time, maybe never again. Why would she? After he has tormented her daily even when she had thought he would stop and she was at wits end. She is losing her will to fight against the abuse, but she knows she has to break away from his hold on her, so she continues to fight. But He is messing with her mind. He is giving her misconceptions and making it harder to believe in herself, basically making it harder for her to keep fighting him. What a jerk! After feeding her misconceptions and lies she finds herself almost giving up again. She can’t keep living like this with him in control of her. Calypso must escape from his power before she gives up because she cannot take anymore of living like this. He can scream and torment her all he wants but she is going to escape from him. She can’t keep being suffocated by him, she needs to breathe. This is her last time getting forced to almost give up. Calypso will no longer take this anymore and will be free from her prison. She has had enough of the pain and torment of being in this relationship and is ready to get out of her “prison” as she won’t live like this anymore. She won’t be dealing with the pain of the relationship anymore and she will be free to live her life. This person tormenting her? Her oppressive, abusive boyfriend. But she broke up with him and think it's over. She has problems with her fans who are obsessed with. Calypso doesn’t even know about the existence of that fan. Calypso has never met this fan and so has no shared experiences except perhaps a concert the fan has attended. In other words, the fan knows a lot about Calypso, but of course Calypso knows nothing of the fan. The fan is looking needy, so Calypso signs an autograph book, hands the book back to the fan and the briefest of hand touches is had — true love.

The fan is saying that they would give up their whole life just to be with her, and they are taking over their life. In the meantime; A nervous arranged -to-be-wedded bride, Calliope, overhears a conversation between a soon to be bridesmaid and a waiter at her wedding. The bridesmaid gossips about the unfaithful groom. Calliope is angered by the news. She didn’t want to hear that her arranged husband-to-be has been with other women. But she changed her mind about being angry. She tackles things from a different angle and tries to be calm and rational. Calliope is upset she’s overheard the conversation between the bridesmaid and the waiter. She can confront this conflict another way. Once she tried to tell her family; they didn't listen. Calliope was so angry that she said, "That's it. Forget about it. Since he’s going to be flirting with other women, that sleazy--might as well call off the wedding,” Her family was shocked as they ask what was she going to do now about the wedding. "Nobody's coming to my wedding anyway." remarked Calliope as she hurried away. That night, there was a celebration going on with some sort of luala. Some sort of Hawaiian music was playing. And men and women dance and sing, "Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh. Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh. Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh, Beh-teh-eh-beh-teh-eh......" While celebration is going on in the meantime; Calliope was floating on the beach water as she went up and down on a surf board, but she had a miserable look on her face. Simply falling in love with someone, whether she feels the same way or not, is nowhere near a “sin”. It is seemingly out of her control. All bodies of water eventually end up in the ocean. The water has no choice in that matter.

In her eyes, she and her crush, Mikado, are the same. She knows that she really is being rather foolish by being willing to trust a boy she probably has not known for very long that she is just falling in love with him. It was just another ordinary day until she meets a boy who inspires her to look for the majesty and beauty in what others would find mundane. the boy said to her that she should live every day to the fullest and control her own destiny. Calliope walking past all the drama in life trying to get back to the one she loves. She doesn’t know exactly where she is going. She’s just seeing where life takes her. When she feels so loving to this person she wonders if they even, feel the same way, or know if she even feels that way. Calliope daydreams about the life with her crush. One day, Calliope meets Mikado for the first time as she is nervous but picks up the courage to talk to him. Mikado is attracted to this girl's beauty and the two of them spend time together. During her time with Mikado; he makes Calliope feel special, in ways she has never felt. It is raining outside, but they are under her blankets dry and warm. Meaning that even though there is a bunch of stuff going on, they don’t pay any mind to it, and when she is with him, it is as if they are in there own little world. She loves the way he makes her feel. Mikado is speechless, when she shows him how much she loves him. She feels this way all over her body. He makes her smile, and she loves it! She doesn’t want him to leave her for a little while. Calliope wants Mikado to take his time everywhere he goes. All she wants is to go somewhere where they can be alone; where other people aren’t disagreeing with their love. She’s willing to run away with him if he agrees. Calliope wants their love to be like a fairytale, she could be the princess, and he could be the prince. They can be everything they want, all he has to do is agree to love.

Though earth and sun are aligned in solar eclipses, since there are potentially an infinite amount of stars it would be impossible for them to all align. While hearing thunder may make more sense, a good boom will make you shake throughout. Instead of the muted, compressed feelings Calliope has now, she wants to feel alive, shaken and soaked by everything life has. Instead of letting outside sources define her, Calliope is shirking the external definitions and seeking her own personal truth to color how she lives her life. Feeling misunderstood among peers; Calliope wants something, anything to take her mind off of the things other people say about her. She can’t stand to be under the oppressive gaze of those who don’t understand her, who don’t really know her. She needs to get away from these people. As she finds out later, people who don’t really know you are all around you. So it seems counter-intuitive to go out to be with these people and surrounded by them when all she wanted in the first place was to get away. These daily mistakes may be what other people are talking about, even though they don’t know her. She struggles with the inadequacy of discovering herself one day at a time, of forging an identity that she perhaps doesn’t fully understand until it’s already fully formed. There is something inherently disorienting about waking up at night. Callipe eventually got tired of waiting; she began to think that Mikado didn’t want to join her in the ‘love story’ that she so desperately wanted to live in.  Calliope thought he’d got himself another girl and forgot all about her. And she was right, Mikado and Kaguya were a definetly a couple in hindsight. Calliope tries to hide her pain, and pretends to be happy for her friend. She longs for a relationship with this boy, more than anything. Calliope’s jealous of the girl that Mikado loves and longs to be that girl. Everything he does seems important to her; Calliope truly believes that Mikado is the one for her. She’s believes that Mikado is wrong about who he loves, and it should be her in return. She even states that he is on her mind everyday and every night.

Calliope questions herself whether if he knows that she has been crushing on him secretly. His presence even takes away her breath, leading her to further believe she’s in love. She wants to be as perfect as the girl that Mikado likes. She wants the other girl to love Mikado with all her heart for if she is not going to give it to him, she’d rather have at least someone do it. Calliope has been thinking about him from the first line to the last. She even keeps a picture to look at at night to comfort her at night. Calliope cries at night because she loves Mikado much more than he knows. She does everything to get him to like her, even wish on stars that she knows is not real. However, this also shows that she still has hope. Calliope had a crush on this guy, Mikado, and she just wants some alone time. She has a lot to talk to him about; she sees that he’s staring and she doesn’t understand why. She knows she will be lonely without him and is scared of it. That´s why she´s asking him not to leave her. A relationship is easily breakable. Even the biggest lovers can turn into strangers in a matter of seconds. She has the feeling that she will crash on the ground when their relationship breaks apart. She only had eyes for Mikado. All her efforts went for their future. She neglected other things because of that and that´s why she only knows him anymore. His friends are just one of the things that brought their relationship down, she want´s a serious relationship with him and she makes everything to maintain that. That´s when his friends call her “difficult”. she knows him and that he can be himself when he’s with her. While when he’s with his friends he can’t and pretends to be someone else. she was played by the guy. Mikado told her all the things girls want to her. He was the only one that she ever wanted. There is only one person you are meant to spend your whole life with and many people will never find this person for them.

She found him, but they made a mistake and missed their opportunity. She had many of these memories with him. But as their relationship breaks apart their memories loose their colors and become to cold pictures she doesn´t want to think of. Apparently she misunderstood his intentions. For her he was the love of her life. But for him she was just a girlfriend out of many. She thought she found her big love to spend all her life with. But now she realizes it won´t turn out like a fairy tale happy ending. Calliope’s trying to move on by getting rid of any trace of her crush. She puts up a front to her friends that she’s so over it, but in reality she’s totally crushed and can’t stand being around him after what she did. This guy actually does suck, what was she thinking. She knows she made a mistake in getting back with him, but is frustrated because she keeps going back to him. Calliope’s frustrated because she’s back in the less than desirable relationship and in the choruses she’s frustrated because she can’t stop loving him. After all that cleansing of a bad relationship, Calliope finds herself right back in it. The guy sneaks his way back into her heart and she’s frustrated because she knows he’s bad for her, but she still falls for him again and again. By the end of it she’s clearly should have known better, so she’s trying to finally move past it but then here they go through the same crush cycle again. But Mikado was going to stop and find the girl singing to him. However, love was in the air. Calliope comes across a place known as Stella Maris. There were three best friends who are a trio of singers known as FHC, which stands for 'Faith, Hope, and Charity' where they are kind hearted teenage girls that are selfless, good natured, and helpful young women that worked so hard.

These girls are Alexis Lafayette, Demeter Caron, and Petra Vondell. But they are hated by mean girls: Juno Royce, her best friend Venus Lovett, and snooty yet kind hearted around the edges, Adalmina McQueen. However, Adalmina learns she's partnered with a hyperactive, yet gross and whimiscal and annoying half human-half hybrid name Percival 'Percy' Jesse.  Despite this unlikely duo; Adalmina and Percy end up being matchmakers for others. It started a day so mundane that is about to turn extraordinary when the unlikely duo finds a masked man in a suit of black and crimson red. He wakes up with no memory of how he got here or what happened so Adalmina and Percy decide to help him out. They nursed him back to health as they try to unmask him but the mysterious stranger refuses. Just then, things change when FHC were rehearsing when monsters are approaching until the masked stranger saves the girls and the rest of Stella Maris. Once that predicament was over; Demeter is fascinated with this masked boy, who reveals his name as Erebus. Erebus finds himself infatuated with Demeter for her bright and determined nature but she's passionate, focused, stubborn and has little time for boys. Erebus wins her heart by showing her a monument of animals since Demeter loves animals and Demeter shows him how to be proper as a young gentleman. He realizes that he doesn’t want just any pretty girl, he wants the girl who he loves for her inside and out. Adalmina and Percy guides Erebus into how to court Demeter.

Meanwhile; Mikado and his friends arrived however more love was going around; Susanoo meets Petra and becomes enamored to her, Tomoe meets & develops a crush on Phoebus but gets a love rival--Venus. Kintaro defrosts the ice heart of the snobby, queenly Juno and Momotaro finds young love in Petra's younger sister name Aimee. Calliope's attempts to make Mikado her lover made her crazy enough to get rid of the pure hearted Kaguya. First, Calliope got a werewolf to lure her and eat her. Once that will happen, Calliope will have Mikado all to herself! Nobody will stop her now...Or will they? Odd, Frey, and Thor learn of her plans but keep her being part of it a secret since they knew Calliope was in love with Mikado. So the trio went to tell Mikado and Susanoo about how a werewolf plans to swallow Kaguya. The two of them hurry to the location as they can see Kaguya went into the forest. Poor Kaguya never even thought of such a thing, that it was not Lady Himiko at all, but a wicked werewolf, to pretend that he was the werewolf as the lady herself. "Come and sit down beside my bed, dearie," wheezed the werewolf, "and let us have a little chat." Then the disguised werewolf stretched out his large hairy paws and began to unfasten the basket. "Oh!" said Kaguya, "What eyes you have, Himiko!" "All the better to see you with, my pet," grinned the werewolf. "What great arms you have, Himiko!" Kaguya said. "All the better to hug you with," said the Wolf. "And Himiko," gasped Kaguya, "what great sharp teeth you have !" "All the better to eat you with!' growled the werewolf, springing up suddenly at Kaguya.

But just at that very moment the door flew open, and Mikado and Susanoo rushed in with their weapons, and killed the werewolf. Since that failed; Calliope got an evil woman and her daughters to kidnap Kaguya and make her a working maid. Kaguya worked and worked for them, even worked when there was a ball in town. "Don't you wish you were going to the ball?" said the mother. "Yes I do," sighed Kaguya. The sisters burst out laughing. Then, stepping carefully into the limo so that they might not crush their fine clothes, they drove away to the ball. Kaguya went back to her chimney-corner, and tried not to feel envious, but the tears would gather in the pretty eyes, and trickle down the sorrowful little face. "What are you crying for, child ?" cried a silvery voice. Kaguya started, and raised her eyes. Who could it be ? Then in a moment she knew--it was a fairy! "All I ever wanted--" began Kaguya; then her sobs stopped her. "To go to the ball," finished the fairy. Kaguya nodded. The fairy told her to go into the garden and bring the largest pumpkin. Second is to trap mice from the pantry. Third task was to get a large rat in the rat catcher, fourth was to get six lizards. Soon the pumpkin, the mice, the rat, and the lizards each turned into a fancy vehicle, coachmen, a limo driver, and other great things. Kaguya was so excited that she couldn't speak. However she forgot she wore her maid clothing and tries to ask but before Kaguya could realize what was happening, the fairy's wand tapped her lightly on the shoulder, and in place of the shabby frock, there was a gleam of satin, silver, and pearls. The gown was white as snow, and as dazzling; round the hem hung a fringe of diamonds, sparkling like dew-drops in the sunshine. The lace about the throat and arms could only have been spun by fairy spiders. Surely it was a dream! Kaguya put her daintily-gloved hand to her throat, and softly touched the pearls that encircled her neck.

"Come, little lady," said the fairy, "don't be late." The fairy gave her diamond-like shoes to wear. Once then, Kaguya arrived at the ball as she reunites with Mikado. They dance together as Odd, Frey, and Thor--along with Adalmina and Percy--recognized Kaguya as herself and Kaguya realize she must return back and parts from Mikado. Once, the trio and the duo told Mikado about Kaguya; Mikado heads over there with one piece of evidence left behind--The diamond shoe. Mikado offered the sisters to try on the shoe. Of course, the sisters tried to squeeze their feet into the slipper, but it was of no use--they were much too large. Then Kaguya shyly begged that she might try. How the sisters laughed with scorn when Mikado knelt to fit the slipper on the maid's foot; but what was their surprise when it slipped on with the greatest ease, and the next moment Kaguya produced the other from her pocket. Once more she stood in the slippers, the mother sisters hung their heads with sorrow and vexation; but kind Kaguya put her arms around their necks and forgave them for all their unkindhess,so that they could not help but love her. Calliope was angered to see this happen and was not going to give up. Calliope disguised as a seller of dresses and gives a dress for Kaguya--A laced one. So, Kaguya stood before her, and let herself be laced with the new laces. But Calliope laced so quickly and so tightly that Kaguya lost her breath and fell down. Not long afterwards in the evening Odd, Frey, Thor, Adalmina, and Percy came back at how how shocked they were when they saw dear Kaguya lying on the ground. They lifted her up, and, as they saw that she was laced too tightly, they cut the laces, then she began to breathe a little, and after a while came to life again.

Calliope made a poisonous comb. Then she disguised herself and took the shape of a hairdresser. Calliope offered to comb her hair properly. Poor Kaguya felt the comb in her hair than the poison in it took effect, and she fell down senseless. Odd, Frey, Thor, Adalmina, and Percy looked and found the poisoned comb. They taken it out when Kaguya came back to life. With one last trick; Calliope made a poison apple. She lures Kaguya with one, who stretched out her hand and took the poisonous half. But hardly had she a bit of it in her mouth than she fell down dead. Odd, Frey, Thor, Adalmina, and Percy came back to find Kaguya lying upon the ground, she breathed no longer and was dead. They lifted her up, looked to see whether they could find anything poisonous, but it was all of no use, the poor girl was dead. They laid her upon a bier, and all seven of them sat round it and wept for her. Mikado came by as he reached his hand over Kaguya's throat, and a piece of the poisonous apple came out. And before long she opened her eyes, lifted up the lid of the coffin, sat up, and was once more alive. As Calliope saw this in horror; she begins to cry as she was exhausted to put up with another battle and lets Mikado have his happiness with Kaguya. While with Himiko, who wanted to show him something; Mikado can only see a portion of the memory he had a blur vision of. She is only able to “see” a small segment of some thing: "Is he dead?" A girl's voice asked. "I don't know." said a dumb sounding voice. "Maybe we shall chant an incantation to rise him from the dead." "I think you've been watching too much of horror films Columbo." said another voice. "Hmm, I hear his heart beating." said a voice that sound high pitched.

Mikado heard the girl's voice sighing, "He is?" "Wait, it sounds faint...No, his heart is pulsing. Yes, he is living after all." said the high pitched, nasal voice. "Yes, I knew it." said the girl happily. Mikado felt a hand running through his hair. That hand felt nice in his hair. "Who's there?" He wondered. "He is so beautiful..." mused the girl's voice. Then, she begins to sing a song. There Mikado can see who it is, Calliope! He couldn't believe it! She was the one singing to him! After what she did for trying to win Mikado's heart didn't work; she decided to give up her love for Mikado to Kaguya, the one girl he cared about, so she can atone for her sins. Her journal reflects on her thoughts: "To be aware that the mind can always play tricks on itself, I was unsure if I can trust the mirage that stands before me. And yet, carnal desire goads me into giving this figure the benefit of the doubt. I may have loved him once, but it was so not love. Just as dreams are often heavily romanticized it seems that love burned with passion initially was now dying out." She puts her journal away and left the bench she was sitting at. Just then, she can hear someone calling her name. She turned around to see it was Mikado, her heart leaped. "You dropped this." said Mikado. It was her pen, she must've dropped it while she was on the bus. "Oh thank you." said Calliope, taking the pen from him. But she looked at his face, she sense something was wrong. "Wait, what's wrong?" asked Calliope. Then, Mikado's whole face lights up and he smiles, "It's you, isn't it?" Calliope begin to look nervous, "What are you talking about?" She asked. "You don't remember saving me and singing to me on the beach? That singing gave me a change of heart, that singing was from you. It was you who gave me confidence on life." said Mikado.

Calypso's new single and music video is shown which is inspired by the anime, Sword Art Online. It was a beautiful view of the landscape with coniferous forests, grass plains and numerous lakes that dot the landscape. The forests and lakes together occupy most of the floor's area, with a humongous lake. The floor's terrain is mountainous and hilly with different areas of the floor being connected via raised wooden walkways. The scene changes with her in town in a medieval European style, with white buildings and red roofs. The streets are paved with stone, and oil lamps hang from supports and and over doorways, and brick is used in some construction. The third scenario has the coldest mountain is extremely covered in an enormous amount of huge crystal pillars that stand out from the thick layer of snow and is surrounded by crystal pillars. The fourth scenario shows of a gate plaza which is overflowing with different kinds of flowers; aside from two small paths that cut across the plaza in a cross shape. And the fifth scene shows a red-bricked path that is lined with flowers upon a large, steep hill. Calypso was singing in different locations as she watches as despair was in this beautiful world. But can see hope of two people who love each other.
