And now, we get to see this guy's origins. Learn more about Charon Surtur, this creep sure is one hell of a murderer. BEWARE, some inspirations are based off urban legends that you may have heard before like a hundred times. And also, Aneris finally confronts him once and for all. Avenging her family's deaths. Chapter 8: The Terror of Charon Surtur

Charon Surtur is one of the most dangerous man. He tortures and kills people, he had taken part of the other Wendigo experiments. Charon enjoys hurting people, it was a way to make him much more stronger and he likes to see the fear in people's eyes. But those eyes, those horrible un-human eyes of his. The black sclera, the red pupils. It was beyond disaster; the most disturbing that you could ever seen. What kind of human would have such eyes like that and be evil? He does. He even tried to make a lot of killings. They are close call, most gruesome, and most terrifying. There was a legend about him once, when he was little: He was born to an alcoholic father and drug-addicted mother. The couple regularly fought while he hid in fear behind the living room couch, showed her no attention or affection, and were not interested in religion. One night, the fight escalated to a horrific outcome; Young Charon while again hiding behind the couch witness her Dad killed Mom, then himself. This resulted in some people from the city taking the girl to another home, one completely different from her prior one – this home featured a compassionate family who regularly attended church. On the his first visit to church, she noticed on the wall a picture of Yehweh hanging on the cross. He commented that she did not know who the man was, but knew that he had to have come down from the cross as he recognized the man as the one who comforted her while he witnessed her parents' violent deaths.

Charon was once a lazy fisherman who decided to fish in the imperial koi ponds near his house. Despite being warned by his family about the pond being sacred and near a graveyard, Charon went anyway. On his way to the pond, he is warned by another fisherman not to go there, but he again ignores the warning. Once at the spot, he is met by a beautiful young woman who pleads with him not to fish in the pond. He ignores her and, to his horror, she kidnaps and tortures him.  Frightened, Charon, who was scarred and terrified, proceeded down the road for some time, until he came across a vendor. Stopping to relax, Charon told the vendor of his tale, only to recoil in horror as the vendor tortured him by giving him new eyes, which Charon became more traumatized as he became consumed by hatred and turn evil. Somehow, pain is bad, so if someone adds enough pain to someone, they become bad, which is how Charon became like he is now. He rushed home to hide, he is confronted by what seems to be his family, which they chastises him for his wickedness before Charon revealed his red and black eyes before him. Charon is a sadistic man that has no heart, no mind, nothing! Charon cares only about himself as he has a few stories where he was almost successful. He was signaling someone to give him a lift, disguised as a passenger who claims to have eyes problems. The driver agrees but he has to clear something in the trunk first. Charon accepts however when the driver looked up a few minutes later; he found Charon had 'vanished' and decided to drive on. While the driver was driving in his car, he noticed someone was following him and doing strange things. He was letting his high beams shine, taligating, and bumping his car. The driver couldn't stand it as he went to the gas station. While there; the driver meets someone there who noticed Charon was in the backseat of the car. He then tells the driver that something's wrong with his credit card and that he needed to come inside. Then, the worker whispered that there is a killer in the back seat of the car. As Charon was about to get out and kill them, the woman and man turned to see him but Charon chickened out as he escaped.

Another time was when a babysitter was watching the TV and while she was doing so, the phone ring. When the sitter picked it up; there was horrible laughter. The sitter hung up and continued to watch TV. Another phone call, it was the same one with the horrible laugh, he was breathing heavily but as she prepares to hang up, a sinister voice asks her to "check the children." When she asks who it is, the caller hangs up. Rather than checking on the children, the teenager decides to ignore the call and goes back to watching TV. The stranger calls back several times, each time becoming more persistent and aggressive. Eventually the sitter becomes worried and calls 911, who ask her to wait for the man to call again, so that they can trace the call. When he calls again, she manages to keep him talking for a few minutes and, when the police call back, they tell her that the call is coming from a second line inside the house. As she runs to the door she sees a man with a bloody axe running down the stairs, and just manages to avoid his blow. She runs outside into the waiting arms of police, who quickly arrest the man however they found he had escaped. They then search upstairs and find out that he had already killed the children. He was waiting for the girl to come upstairs. In another part; A boy and a girl were on a date, they went to lovers' lane where they enjoyed the sunsetting as there was peaceful music when an annoucer broke over the radio: "A murderer is on the loose as he is very dangerous. He is armed with a sharp hook. The female was getting nervous, "Let's roll up the windows and locked all the doors. I mean, can you take me home?" She asked. "What? Come on, you're just scared." said the boy. "No, really. I want to go home." insisted the female. "Listen, babe. He's not coming up here, why would he?" "He has a hook! He could kill somebody with that!" cried the girl. The boy was disappointed as he does take her home but had to stop to fill his car with gas at the gas station. While there, the girl gets out as she lets out a scream. 

One evening where a man and his fiancée were visiting relatives. Around midnight, while returning from a football game, they parked their car in a field on road to talk. As they sat in the front seat with the car running, they noticed something moving outside the rear window. Moments later the front passenger window was smashed and there was a white-clad figure standing near the broken window. The man turned the car around while the figure screamed at them about trespassing, including "You're on private property and I have your tag number." As they drove down the road they discovered a hatchet on the car floor. When the police asked for a description of the man, the man insisted he was wearing a white suit with long bunny ears, but his fiancee remembered something white and pointed like a cult follower hood. They both remembered seeing his face clearly, but in the darkness they could not determine his race. The police returned the hatchet for the man after examination. The man was required to report the incident. It was later confirmed in the records that the man was wearing a bunny suit with ears, not cult follower robes. The second reported sighting occurred on the evening, when construction security guard approached a man standing on the porch of an unfinished home in a park. The guard said the man was wearing a gray, black, and white bunny suit. The man began chopping at a porch post with a long-handled axe, saying "All you people trespass around here. If you don't get out of here, I'm going to bust you on the head."

During this time, locals allegedly began to find hundreds of cleanly skinned, half-eaten carcasses of rabbits hanging from the trees in the surrounding areas. Another search of the area was ordered and the police located the remains of another man, who was left in a similar fashion to the rabbit carcasses hanging in a nearby tree. Some parts were under a bridge overpass. Another time in the bathrooms; When the unlucky victim is on the toilet, a mysterious voice will ask them if they want red paper or blue paper. If you answer red paper, you are killed violently and drenched in blood. If you ask for blue, you are strangled or bled dry, leaving your face blue. a lone taxi driver making his way along a road during the night but he is sees someone suddenly appear from the darkness and hail the taxi. The mystery person sits in the back of the car and ask to be taken to a place the driver has never heard of. When the driver mentions this, he is assured that he will be given directions. The passenger then feeds the driver increasingly complex directions which leads them down streets and alleys, through many towns and even in some instances all the way from the city to the countryside. After traveling this distance and still seeming no closer to any destination, the driver becomes uneasy. He turns around to the back seat to ask the passenger exactly where they are  but he is suddenly shocked to find that the passenger has left the backseat. The taxi driver turns back to the steering wheel; only to drive off the edge of a cliff and die. Charon Surtur had caused this to happen. 

The man will stop the person and ask, "Am I pretty?" The person answers yes, the man pulls away the sunglasses, revealing his red and black, and asks "How about now?" The person was filled with fear and tries to run but he is stabbed with a pair of scissors and his mouth is slit. Another story to be told when a  girl was walking down a street, where she was working as a waitress, after visiting her parents. On her way, a strange figure leapt at her from a dark alley where his black and red eyes made her scared. After immobilising her with a tight grip of his arms, he began to kiss her face, while ripping her clothes and touching her flesh with his claws. In panic, the girl screamed, making the attacker quickly flee from the scene. The commotion brought several residents who immediately launched a search for the aggressor, who could not be found. The next day, the leaping character  jumped in the way of a passing car, causing the driver to lose control, crash, and severely injure himself. Several witnesses claimed that he escaped by jumping over a wall while babbling with a high-pitched, ringing laughter. One time, there were groups of teenagers who ritualistically invoke Charon's name, usually by repeatedly chanting her name in a mirror placed in a dimly lit room. Charon Surtur looked over at them with evil in his eyes; and is seen covered in blood. He begin screaming at them, cursing them, strangling them, stealing their soul, drinking their blood, and scratching their eyes out.

A young girl is home alone for the first time with only her dog for company. Listening to the radio, she hears of a serial killer on the loose, so she locks all the doors and windows (in some versions, the basement window is jammed open so she just locks the basement door) and goes to bed, taking her dog to her room with her and letting it sleep under her bed. She wakes in the night and can hear a dripping sound coming from the bathroom. The dripping sound annoys her, and she actually finds it unsettling, for some reason. The bedside lamp won't work, and she is too scared to get out of bed to turn on the main light, and walk over to the bathroom. She hides under the covers but to reassure herself that the dog is still under the bed she puts her hand down and feels licking on her hand. She lies awake for some time listening to the dripping sound and periodically puts her hand down to where she can hear heavy breathing and each time feels gentle licks on her fingers. Eventually she falls asleep. The next morning when she wakes, she goes to the bathroom for a drink of water. On the shower wall, written in blood are the words "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO", and her slaughtered dog is hanging from the shower head, its blood, now thick and dark, still dripping into the bathtub. On another grisly sight; several college students messing around late one night. They were having a party, and they were quiet drunk. Finding themselves in the woods, they managed to stumble upon an old shack. One of the teen boys in the group, decided to start calling him names. The boy decided to throw his beer bottle at one of the cages, causing the glass to shatter. This made Charon, so he decided to open his door and confront the teens. In his rage; Charon stabbed the teens with a railroad spike, killing each of them but one, who ran away from the murder site, and told the local police department. They responded to the dispatch, trespassing on his property. They only found dead rabbits, and a water well. When one of the deputies looked into the well, all he saw was more rabbits, and the remains of the college kids.

This girl went out on a Saturday night a few weeks ago to a party. She was having a good time and had a couple of beers and some guy seemed to like her and invited her to go to another party. She quickly agreed and decided to go along with him. He took her to a party in some apartment and they continued to drink, and even got involved with some drugs. The next thing she knew, she woke up completely naked in a bathtub filled with ice. She was still feeling the effects of the drugs, but looked around to see she was alone. She looked down at her chest, which had CALL 911 or YOU'LL DIE" written on it with lipstick. She saw a phone on a stand next to the tub so she picked it up and dialed. She explained to the EMS operator what the situation was and that she didn't know where she was, what she took, or why she was really calling. The 911 operator advised her to get out of the tub. She did, and she appeared normal, so she was told to check her back. She did, and found two 9 inch slits on her lower back. The operator told her to get back into the tub immediately, and they sent a rescue team over. Apparently, after being examined, she found out more of what had happened. Her kidneys were stolen. They were worth $10,000 each in the black market. Several guesses are in order: The second party was a sham, the people involved had to be at least medical students and it was not just recreational drugs she was given. Regardless, she is currently in the hospital on a life support, awaiting a spare kidney.

A teenage girl was babysitting for some neighbor friends one night, a young boy and girl. The parents were collectors of clown statues and had collected clowns from around the world for years. They had decorated a room just to put the clowns on display. After the parents had left for a night alone of dinner and a movie, the children were playing in the clown room. Many of the clowns were just statues, and some were life-sized, one in particular, was seated in a small rocking chair. The babysitter started to feel creepy about this statue throughout the night. She felt as though the eyes were following her, whenever she moved around the room with the children. When the parents finished dinner, they decided to call and check on the children. The babysitter decided to ask about this scary clown statue asking the parents, "I was wondering if I could move this clown that you have in the rocking chair, it's starting to scare me and the kids." "What clown are you talking about? I don't recall us having a scary clown sitting in the rocking chair. Are you sure it's the rocker it is sitting in?" the mother asked frantically. "Yes, I'm sure." said the girl. "It's sitting right here, I'm looking at it right now, Why? I know it's probably very old and I shouldn't attempt to move it out of the way, perhaps just covering it with a sheet or blanket." "Take the kids and get out of the house, now. The neighbor across the street will let you in. We will call you there in a few minutes." and with that, the mother hung up.

Frightened and confused, the babysitter grabbed the kids and ran out. When she arrived safely at the neighbors, she told the neighbor what was going on, and shortly the parents called. "What's wrong? Did something happen? Are you all okay?" the mother asked. "Yes, we are fine, but what is going on, and why are you worried about us? I'm so glad you told us about the clown statue we were afraid this would happen again. We will be there shortly, along with the police, I'll explain everything when we get there." and the mother hung up. The parents later explained to the girl that for some time, they were being stalked by a mentally ill man that wished to do harm to the children. Another time was when young teens going out for a night on the town, only to stumble across a large, worn down multiple story building where they are offered to go through a haunted attraction that consists of "real" horrors inside. In the story, the teens are asked to pay a certain amount of 20 dollars and told they will receive a portion back for every floor they complete. The twist is that no one has ever completed the house, and the ones who tried never came back out. Rumors state about the various horrors inside the house, from poisonous/deadly animals, to deformed humans, to the supernatural. The police were called to the place of the bathroom. The police woman went to the bathroom while her male partner waited outside. When inside the stall a voice asked “Shall we put on the red vest?” The police man outside, who was listening at the door, heard his partner answer “Yes”. A sudden scream and loud thud followed. When the policeman opened the bathroom door, he found the police woman decapitated. Her blood had soaked into her vest, turning it red. 

There was another incident that was involved with a bald young man moved in among several other families with young children and elderly folk as soon as the houses were built. Everything seemed normal enough, until one day when the individual held what seemed like an ordinary meeting in his house, known only because of a child peering in through the window and seeing the entirety of the population of that area in his living room. The next day, none of the community members had reported to their daily activities. After a few days of no contact from anyone of the New City Village, the police investigated to find body parts on the lawn and woods, some having human bite marks on them. Inside the individual's home were the rest of the bodies, all with their organs removed seemingly when they were alive, and a child in the oven, burnt to a crisp. All of the New City Village residents were there, save for the individual himself, who had vanished and was never found. It was said that he was a member of a cult that practiced human sacrifice, and was likely going to repeat his actions with a new set of victims at a later date. switching on the headlights of a car, or of momentarily switching between a headlight's high beams and low beams, in an effort to communicate with another driver or drivers. This signal can be intended to convey a variety of messages, including a warning to other drivers of road hazards or of speed traps, and it can also be a form of aggressive driving. Whichever driver flashes his headlamps in response to the unlit car becomes the target; to complete the initiation, the prospective gang member must hunt down and shoot, kill, or assaulted the target. 

Two dorm mates in college were in the same science class. The teacher had just reminded them about the midterm the next day when one dorm mate got asked to this big bash by the hottest guy in school. The other dorm mate had pretty much no interest in going and, being a diligent student, she took notes on what the midterm was about. After the entire period of flirting with her date, the party goer was totally unprepared for her test, while the bookworm was completely prepared for a major study date with her books.At the end of the day, the girl spent hours getting ready for the party while her dorm mate started studying. The girl tried to get her dorm mate to go, but she was insistent that she would study and pass the test. The girls were rather close and the party goer didn't like leaving her friend alone to be bored while she was out having a blast. The party girl finally gave up, using the excuse that she would cram in homeroom the next day. The girl went to the party and had the time of her life with her date. She headed back to the dorm around 2 a.m. and decided not to wake her. The next day, the girl woke up and went to wake her friend. But her dorm mate was lying on her stomach, apparently sound asleep. The girl rolled her friend over to reveal her friend's terrified face. The girl was concerned, so she turned on the desk lamp. Her friend had been slaughtered. The girl fell to the floor in horror and looked up to see, written on the wall in her friend's blood: "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights!"

There was an incident where a man and woman went to their honeymoon, and checked into a suite at a hotel. When they got to their room they both detected a bad odor. The husband called down to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. He explained that the room smelled very bad and they would like another suite. The manager apologized and told the man that they were all booked because of a convention. He offered to send them to a restaurant of their choice for lunch compliments of the hotel and said he was going to send a maid up to their room to clean and to try and get rid of the odor. The husband called the front desk and told the manager that the room still smelled really bad. The manager told the man that they would try and find a suite at another hotel. He called every hotel on the strip, but every hotel was sold out because of the convention. The manager told the couple that they couldn't find them a room anywhere, but they would try and clean the room again. The couple wanted to see the sights and do a little gambling anyway, so they said they would give them two hours to clean and then they would be back. When the couple had left, the manager and all of housekeeping went to the room to try and find what was making the room smell so bad. They searched the entire room and found nothing, so they started tearing the entire suite apart himself. As he pulled the top mattress off the box spring he found a dead body of a woman. A girl and her boyfriend are watching the sunset in his car. They had parked in the woods so no one would see them. It got so dark but the boy got out to use the bathroom in the bushes and the girl waited for him in the safety of the car. After waiting five minutes, the girl got out of the car to look for her boyfriend. Suddenly, she sees a man in the shadows. Scared, she gets back in the car to drive away, when she hears a very faint squeaking sound. This continued a few seconds until the girl decided she had no choice but to drive off. She hit the gas as hard as possible but couldn't go anywhere, because someone had tied a rope from the bumper of the car to a nearby tree. The girl slams on the gas again and then hears a loud scream. She gets out of the car and realizes that her boyfriend is hanging from the tree. 

The squeaky noises were his shoes slightly scraping across the top of the car! These were reports about Charon Surtur and his killings. Now, Aneris must confront him however she was nervous but it wasn't until an agent called out, “Aneris! Time to go!” Aneris sighed and trudged out of her bedroom, unwilling to go to this mission. She climbed into the car where she was to guard the building and keep on lookout for things. Aneris looked out to see a visitor. He had red and black eyes.  He introduced himself as a salesman and he tried to sell her something. Aneris refused and tells him to leave. She then went to sleep. But the so called salesman snuck inside as Aneris woke up. Aneris rose from the sleeping bag and walked to her bag, where she pulled out a large knife which had not been there before. She walked over to him as she tried and slit his throat but missed as the man try to use his own knife. Aneris waited for Charon, who had been horrible to her all these years as Aneris thought: "I waited a long time for this." She waited. Charon got closer as Aneris raised the knife above her head and brought it down as it lodged in Charon’s stomach, and walked out the front door. Thinking that he's dead as she was glad that her foster family's deaths had been avenged. Upon her return, Aneris is greeted by a dog choking on the grass. Alarmed, she takes the dog to the veterinarian. The vet announces that he must perform a tracheotomy on the animal and he will call her when he has news. When Aneris arrives home, the vet calls and tells her to leave the house at once. The dog was choking on three human fingers. Aneris calls the police, who search the house. They discover Charon Surtur hiding in a closet, passed out from loss of blood.

Cassandra was involved with another mission that include alligators: It was once a fad among New Yorkers vacationing in Florida to bring back baby alligators for their children to raise as pets. These infant gators eventually grew up and outlived their cuteness, sad to say, at which point their desperate owners flushed them down the toilet to get rid of them. Some of these hastily disposed-of critters managed to survive and breed in the dank Manhattan sewer system, so the story goes, producing colonies of giant, albino alligators beneath the streets of the city. Their descendants thrive down there to this day, completely hidden, apart from the rare heart-stopping encounter between sewer gator and sewer worker from human eyes.A young woman in town married a man from another part of the country. He was a nice fellow, and they got along pretty well together. There was only one problem. Every night he’d go swimming in the river. Sometimes, he’d be gone all night long, and she would complain of her loneliness.The couple had two young sons. As soon as the boys could walk, their father began to teach them how to swim, and when they got older, he would take them swimming in the river at night. They would often stay there all night long, and the woman would stay home, alone. After a while, she began to act strangely—at least, that’s what the neighbors said. She told them that her husband was turning into an alligator and he was trying to turn the boys into alligators, too. 

Everyone told her there was nothing wrong with a man taking his sons swimming. That was just a natural thing to do. And when it came to alligators? There just weren’t any in the area, and everybody knew that. Early one morning, the woman came running into town from the direction of the river. She was soaking wet, her clothing dripping water. She said a big alligator and two little alligators had pulled her into the river and tried to get her to eat a raw fish. She claimed that they were her husband and her sons, and they apparently wanted her to live with them, but she managed to escape. Her doctor decided she had lost her mind, and he had her put in the mental institution for a while. After that, nobody saw her husband or children again. They just vanished. But every now and then, a fisherman would tell about seeing alligators in the river at night. Usually, it was one large alligator accompanied by two small ones. Most people said the fishermen were just making it up. After all, everyone knows there aren’t any alligators out here.

Out of some random reason; Ophelia was remembering something: Take her former classmate, Basil Hank for example. He maybe be diagnosed with autism however he doesn't have the right to annoy almost everyone else. Basil picks on Ophelia. If Ophelia presses the elevator button, trying to be nice but Basil got aggravated. “Don’t press the elevator button!” He said loudly in her ears. Or when he compliments her shoes like a hundred times, “I like Ophelia’s shoes, they’re my favorite brand called Road Runners.” This guy was going between liking Ophelia as a friend, then annoying the hell out of her, and when Ophelia blows off steam by how annoyed she is; Basil gets upset, not realizing that he’s annoying her. It really was irritating. Ophelia had been dealing with this guy from 5-6 years, or 7 despite the New Year and how they are nearly graduating. It’s been hard but Ophelia had to look on the bright side. When they graduate this year; she won’t have to deal with him anymore. But sadly for Ophelia, she is kind of annoying to her younger brother, Axel. But she couldn't help but to ponder: Annoying people, don’t you hate them? They wear size 5 shoes, they make a stupid face when they don't understand something, and who consequently are making a stupid face all the time, they have the most annoying voices. 

The kinds who latch onto you and rant about everything they can think of until your ears bleed. They talk loudly in public places about their personal problems. People who repeat themselves or talk to you as if you were 4 years old. They think they can sing, but who really can't. Whoever decided that The Merchant of Venice was somehow inappropriate to study in school. Their mothers let their ‘manchild’ screaming in stores, spending their entire summer vacation standing around in their yards and screaming at the top of their lungs. These kinds of people who continuously call you all the time and don't get the hint you don't want to talk.
