Uranometria Volume 3--Chapter 4

This is it! Yes, the day we dread the most--The last chapter. I know, bummer. So short. But not to worry, just like Spittoon; Uranometria is going to have a sequel too. Stay tune my pets, it's coming! It's coming very soon. So, there are some elements that are 'shout outs', hints of Snow White themes to it. There is a case that's inspired loosely of another creepypasta story of Candle Cove for parts of it and another part of it is inspired by media of Robert the Doll--What's with me and the 'inspiration from' crap like CREEPYPASTA and other urban legends like the Island of the Dolls as well as Bloody Mary?! Even my fear for puppets is revealed. And the song Turan sings is 'Paint it Black' however she calls it 'Splattered Red' which is a cover/parody of the original song. It talks about her love for gore. Morbid yes? Also it tells the origin on how Turan got her squad in the first place. Enjoy! P.S. No plagiarism in this, inspirations, reference, and shout outs really. Thank you! --KatDon

Does anyone remember this kid's show? It was called Morbid Marionette and I must have been 6 or 7. I don't remember which station, but I do remember it was on at a weird time, like four in the afternoon.

YES! Okay I'm not crazy! I remember Morbid Marty. I was always kind of scared of him. He looked like he was built from parts of other dolls, real low-budget. His head was an old porcelain baby doll, looked like an antique that didn't belong on the body. I don't remember what station this was!

Sorry to resurrect this old thread but I know exactly what show you mean, rockheaven. I think Morbid Marionette ran for only a couple months. I was 12 and I watched it a few times with my brother after the news was over. Let me see what I remember. It took place in Morbhatten, and it was about a little girl who imagined herself to be friends with puppets. There was one called Mr. Maniken, and Morbid Marty was scared too easily. And there was calliope music constantly playing. Don't remember the girl's name. Briana or Brittney or something. Think it was Briana.

Thank you !!! Memories flooded back when you mentioned Mr. Maniken. I remember the bow of the ship was a wooden smiling face, with the lower jaw submerged. It looked like it was swallowing the sea and it had that awful laugh. I especially remember how jarring it was when they switched the plastic model that talked.

Ugh miguel, I got a chill reading that. Yes I remember. That's what the ship always told Marty when there was a spooky place he had to go in, where 'The Creeper' was. And the camera would push in on Mr. Maniken's face with each pause. 'You need. to catch. THE CREEPER.' Ugh. It just looked so cheap and awful.

You guys remember the villain? He had a face that was just a handlebar mustache above really tall, narrow teeth.

That wasn't the villain, the puppet with the mustache. That was the villain's sidekick, Mr. Bojangles. He had a had only one eye. But yeah, the villain was another marionette. The Puppet King. I can't believe what they let us watch back then.

good lord, puppet king. what kind of a kids show were we watching? i seriously could not look at the screen when the puppet king showed up. he just descended out of nowhere on his strings, just a corpse wearing that red top hat and cape. and his glass eyes that were too big for his head. my goodness!

Wasn't his hat and cape all stitched up crazily? Was that supposed to be human flesh??

Garett____250
Oh God. Yes. The little girl, Briana, I remember seeing her shake. And the Puppet King screaming through his gnashing teeth, I turned it off and it was the last time I watched. I ran to tell my brother and we didn't have the courage to turn it back on.

i visited my mom today at the nursing home. i asked her about when i was little, when i was 8 or 9 and if she remembered a kid's show, morbid marionette. she said she was surprise i could remember that and i asked why, and she said "because i used to think it was so strange that you said 'i’m gona go watch morbid marionette mom' and then you would tune the tv to static and juts watch dead air for 30 minutes. you had a big imagination with your little puppet tv show."

It turns out that Morbid Marionette was a story created by Ophelia when she was little. The name 'Briana' came from a beloved friend she once had. The story title was about a girl's fear of puppets and experiencing strange things. Briana makes friends with Morbid Marty, advised by Mr. Maniken, but they are repulsed of the bad people called Puppet King and his assistant name Mr. Bojangles. The story was inspired by the legend of Germanus and La Valle de las Muñecas. Amid the winding canals of city’s district, there is an island with strange inhabitants. Hanging from the branches and trunks of almost every tree on the small island are countless mutilated dolls in various states of decay, their sightless glass eyes giving visitors the unnerving feeling of constantly being watched. The place has come to be called La Valle de las Muñecas, the Valley of the Dolls. A man named Don Juan Giovanni became weary of his fellow man and began seeking a peaceful refuge away from other people. At some point, he found a small island south of Mexico City and made up his mind to settle there. But his solitude was short-lived. The voice of a little girl who had drowned on the island began whispering to him, he claimed, bearing a message whose exact contents are up for debate. Soon enough, Don began scouring the surroundings for discarded dolls and fishing them from the canals. People at first thought he was an insane old man, rescuing the dolls in the belief they were children he could nurse back to health. In truth, he was placing them all over the island and around his home to appease the spirit he believed was haunting him.

He even traded home grown fruits and vegetables for old dolls. Several years later, Don’s nephew, Don Cid, found him floating face down in a canal, almost at the exact same spot where the girl who had been haunting him had died. Don Sr’s cause of death was determined to be a heart attack, but some believe he had finally followed the instructions of the whispering voices and entered the murky waters, never to emerge again. It is said that the dolls on the island come to life at night, moving under their own power and tempting travelers to visit their home in the dark, deadly waters. True or not, the Valley of the Dolls is a peculiar and inreasingly popular tourist attraction, bringing in daily visitors. On the other side of the Valley; Miguel Dauber and his family moved in to a mansion at the corner of the streets in the Dauber Manor. The Daubers were known to be stern with their servants, sometimes even mistreating them. It was the treatment of one servant that provides a twist in this story. This woman was hired to take care of their son, Miguel. One day, Mrs. Dauber supposedly witnessed her practicing black magic in their backyard and fired her. Before she left, the woman gave Miguel a lifelike doll which stood 3 feet tall, had buttons for eyes, human hair, and was filled with straw. Miguel named the doll 'Germanus' and often dressed it in his clothes. Germanus, the doll, became his trustworthy companion. He took it with him on shopping trips into town. The doll had a seat at the dinner table where Miguel would sneak it bites of food when his parents weren't looking. Germanus would even be tucked into bed with the boy at night. Soon this innocent relationship took on a strange nature. Soon after, Miguel was often heard in his toy room having conversations with Germanus. Miguel would say something in his childish manner and responses could be heard in a much lower voice.

Sometimes Miguel would become very agitated, worrying the servants and his mother. She would, on occasion, burst in to find her son cowering in a corner while Germanus sat perched in a chair or on the bed glaring at him. This was only the beginning. Household objects would be found thrown across the room, Miguel's toys turned up mutilated, and giggling could be heard. Whenever these unusual acts took place, Miguel always said, "Germanus did it!" The boy took the punishment but always insisted that the blame was Germanus's. As the mischief grew, more and more servants took their leave as new ones were hired. The Daubers' relatives felt it was time to do something. With the recommendation of a great aunt, Miguel's parents removed Germanus from his care and placed him in a box in the attic. This is where he resided for many years. After the death of his father, Gene was willed his boyhood home. He decided to live in the mansion with his new wife. Miguel had become an artist, and felt the house was spacious and would provide a place for him to paint. He went to the attic and dusted off his childhood toy. He became attached to the doll despite his wife's displeasure. Miguel would take the doll along with them everywhere they went. He even sat in his favorite little chair while Gene and his wife slept nearby. The chamber became Germanus's domain after Mrs. Dauber moved him back to the attic. Their marriage slowly became sour until Mrs. Dauber supposedly went insane and died of unknown reasons. Miguel followed soon behind. Germanus supposedly attacked people, sometimes locking them in the attic. People who passed by claimed to hear evil laughter coming from the chamber.

For some time, Germanus remained in the empty house by himself until a new family purchased the mansion and restored it. The doll was once again moved to the attic. This pleased it as much as the last time. The doll was often found throughout the house. This was enough to send them fleeing from the home. He somehow lands up in the Valley of the Dolls. To this day, Germanus remains, continuing his menacing ways. Listen closely at night, people say they can hear a song that translates into English: "From the day of of birth, we had this void. This space of emptiness, that cannot be filled or destroyed. We were caring and happy as a start, but as time grew older, we became aware of the world’s dangers. Slowly making our way across the island, only to be forgotten when we vanished from view. We are something manufacture like robots, no mind of their own and a forced smile. Something is missing." Ophelia was in a panic as she kept muttering to herself: "You're not really, you're all just made up in my head." and "I made you, I created you. But I threw you away, it was too much. I didn't mean to bring you to life." This was no dream, her own stories had come to life as they were now causing problems, even Germanus possibly. She was scared but remembers her powers. She must stay strong and not be scared. However she had a horrible dream that someone was coming for her and they did, no matter how much Ophelia tried to hide; it found her and said, "I FOUND YOU!!!!!" It was surreal looking and Ophelia woke up scared out of her wits as she spend the night trembling.

In the meantime; Cassandra and Brother 10 begin to investigate some gory deaths and obscure case of revenge: A bunch of classmates began receiving strange e-mails. The e-mails were titled "They Hurt Me". The e-mails also warned that the guilty people should own up and take responsibility for their crime. If they didn't there would be horrible consequences. Most people dismissed the e-mails as a hoax, but others were not so sure. Those that didn't were later found in the sewer, covered in muck, their necks were broken and their faces missing. Rumors are told that if someone goes to sleep, they'll wake up in the sewer, in complete darkness, paralyzed, unable to move, hearing cackling laughter all around. Then, as they scream in horror, Bloody Mary will come, show her hideous, damaged face hidden under her scarf, and tear at their faces of after saying, "They hurt me." But in this case involved with scary games about conjuring ghosts for young people that loved to play. Many people don't believe in ghosts and don't think they are going to appear. But they try to raise one anyway for the fun of it. There are three ghosts; the first one is Mary Worth which is a woman who might have been a witch. The second is La Llrona. The basic story tells of a beautiful woman by the name of Maria who drowns her children in order to be with the man that she loved. The man would not have her, which devastated her. She would not take no for an answer, so she drowned herself in a river in Mexico City. Challenged at the gates of Heaven as to the whereabouts of her children, she is not permitted to enter the afterlife until she has found them.

The third and last ghost involves the vanishing hitchhiker departing as would a normal passenger, having left some item in the car, or having borrowed a garment for protection against alleged cold. The vanishing hitchhiker can also leave some form of information that allegedly encourages the motorist to make subsequent contact. In such tellings, the garment borrowed is often subsequently found draped over a gravestone in a local cemetery. In this and in the instance of "imparted information", the unsuspecting motorist subsequently makes contact with the family of a deceased person and finds that their passenger fits the description of a family member killed in some unexpected accident and that the driver's encounter with the vanishing hitchhiker occurred on the anniversary of their death. Cassandra remembered how the game goes: First thing is to find a dark room. There must be no lights whatsoever. Second, to initiate the game you light a candle. Third is to begin chanting: "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary..." or whatever name of any ghost. Continue chanting slowly, 3 to 30 times. Though chanting "Bloody Mary" thirteen times is the most popular count. And finale--Watch the mirror. Believe that what to do is not see is a personal, subjective experience. What people see may just imagination or it might be Bloody Mary herself! Once the game is over, the person quickly leave the bathroom and breathe some fresh air. Laugh to release the nervous tension, and apply first aid to any wounds Bloody Mary may have given them. Then they can relax. While the others are investigating; Flidas was also watching but seeing the pictures and everything that has happened, something triggers flashback and she remembers what it was.

"I know her....Yes, I remember...." Flidas muttered to herself. Cassandra turned to her, "You know this woman?" She asked. Flidas nodded, "Yes, this is Semiramis Winstead." replied Flidas. Cassandra and the others stared at her, "How do you know that?" Cassandra inquired. Flidas turned to her and said, "She's my sister." Everyone is shockd at this. Flidas begin to recollect her memories and share what she knows: Semiramis 'Semira' Winstead lost her mother, Maia, after Flidas was born. Before Maia died; she presented a gift to Semira: A mirror, a reminder that she is always with her. A few years later, Semira and Flidas's father, Gus, remarried to a nicer lady name Hildur Ingeberg. At the age of 17; Semira moved to a new place called Nibiru, where the sisters attended Scholomance. Flidas made some friends while Semira was bullied at school. The worse for her was these girls that she befriended who turned out to be backstabbing her. These girls were Blanca Rosa, Fatime, and Imogene. They did cruel pranks like vandalized her locker, wrote profanity in her books, placed yogurt in her bag and dirt in her coat pockets. One day after Semira was injured after Blanca Rosa and her friends pushed her down a hill during a fire drill as Semira broke her wrist, her leg, and she was crying in pain. She never told the teachers, she tried before but they wouldn't help her, all they told her was that 'kids will be kids' and 'they're just cruel these days'. A few weeks into recovery; Semira begin to talk of 'Bloody Mary' and someone called 'Candyman'. Then, there were three murders committed by an unknown source. The first is Imogene, whose body was found sliced in half. There was a sticky note on her body, "I hope she gets cut in half." The second was Fatime, her body was found on the train tracks as her legs had been run over and she died of blood loss. Another note was on her, this one said: "What a wreck." Third and last was Blanca Rosa, whose body was found in the sewer. Her neck was broken as a last note was there, "I hope she falls into a pit and breaks her neck."

Semira revealed to Flidas of a secret: She admitted that she caused those murders but she used the power of the mirror to conjured two ghosts name Bloody Mary and Candyman. She also said that she had been tormented all her life and she took matters into own hands as she killed the teachers that refused to help her when she was being bullied and also some students that laughed at her. Gus and Hildur were concern about Semira being obsessed with the mirror, they believed she was worrying about her looks as they try to remove it but Semira almost hurt them with the power of the mirror however she stops herself and it was the mirror that manipulates her into thinking that her father and stepmother are trying to torment her too. Flidas tried to talk some sense into her sister however Semira was so angry that she shoved Flidas backwards, her head hit the hairpin that stick out from the wall that it was hanging on. Semira believed her sister was dead and hid her in the mountains, where she put her 'corpse' in a casket and created a beautiful place like a memorial service. Later, Cassandra begins to do some research on Bloody Mary and Candyman, she finally got some results: Years ago, during some anti Semetic times; there was a black man name Daniel Robitaille who was a talented artist and was offered by a rich man that would like Daniel to paint a portrait of his daughter, Mary Worth. But Mary and Daniel fell in love, despite being different color skins. However Mary's father learned what's going on, he was a xenophobe and overly religious man where he burns his daughter at the stake with a crestfallen Daniel watching. Then, Mr. Worth and the people cut Daniel's hand off, covered his body with honey and bees. Before his death, his last words that he cursed the people and Mr. Worth by these final words, "Look through the looking glass, your true loved one will come to pass."

Cassandra track down Semira, who was in her room, drinking the cocktail Bloody Mary which had vodka, tomato juice, Tabasco sauce, celery, olives, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and celery salt. She confronted her on what she knows and she came to talk to her. "So you wanna control me?" Semiramis asked. Cassandra shook her head, "No." She said. Mary's voice whisper to Semira, "Yes." Cassandra can hear her and said, "No, I want to help you." Semira stares at her in disbelief, "Help me? You? The teachers didn't help me. The principal didn't help me. Nobody did. Do you know what that's like?!" She hissed. "Yes, I do." replied Cassandra, "Nobody helped anyone when we were in trouble and now we're here to never make that mistake again. We have people to help us now. You don't have to be afraid anymore." Semira looked down and she confessed something, "They weren't the only ones...My sister too." She confessed that she was jealous because her sister had more friends and how everybody loved her, not Semiramis. She said that while in her room as she remembered so many horrible things that the girls said about her. One time in the girls' bathroom, inside one of the stalls, Semira overheard the girls talk mean things about her. Imogene said, "Oh poor Semira, I hope she gets cut in half." "Yeah, she's such a train wreck. All she does is feel sorry for herself. What a loser." retorted Fatime. "I hope she falls into a pit and breaks her neck." announced Blanca Rosa. The three girls laugh at this. Semira begin to cry as she pulled out the mirror and thought of her mother, then she whispered: "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary...Help me...." Slowly the mirror had a woman's face appeared. Bloody Mary came as she strike a deal with Semira, saying she and Daniel, Candyman, will kill those that wronged her.

While she was talking; Semiramis can feel herself drifting and Cassandra placed her hands on her cheeks where she keeps her head steady. "You gotta stay with me, your family knows now of what's going on. They want to help you. We can fix this together." Cassandra coaxed her. Semira's eyes flashed, Bloody Mary was possessing her as she spoke out in a raspy yell: "I DON'T WANT TO FIX THIS!!!!" Cassandra is thrown backwards and Semira storms out, Cass turned to her and cried out, "Stop the mirror from this!" Semira snapped out of her trance as she cried out desperately, "I don't know how!" But Bloody Mary snaps her back however Semira flees from sight as she stumbles across a room where all the mirrors are, and she cannot see her reflection in any of them. Semira wants someone or something to intervene and prevent her from ending her life. She’s not fully ready to die, and her journey to the ledge of the high rise was really a cry for help. Semira wants someone to tell him how to live right. She might isn’t living that right in the eyes of many people at the moment but she wants to prove them that she’s able to do. After all that he wants the higher power to answer her question if she’s worth to be saved on the world. She bents over as she cries out, "CANDYMAN!!!!! BLOODY MARY!!!! PLEASE, I DON'T NEED YOU! I NEED TO BE FREE AND LIVE THE LIFE I WANT TO LIVE!!!!" However they didn't listen as Semira suffers as she feels nobody can save her now. Just then, Cassandra appears before, her hair was glowing and she looked like an angel. Cassandra looked at her, then she said: "Are you happy?" Semira felt she heart leap, she knows what she's thinking but she lied, "I'm fine." However Cass did not leave for she knows what's going on with Semira. For so long with that mirror, Semiramis has felt nothing but emptiness. She is pleading for someone to open her eyes to joy before she completely loses all hope. Her spirit is taking a break, leaving her feeling empty and numb inside. That is until this angel who sees right through her wakes it up. Cass is her only chance to escape the numbness she feels. She can’t leave her, not now.

Semira’s in an unwanted reality and she can’t wake up. Semiramis pretends to be happy for so long that she doesn’t even know true happiness. She wants Cass to help her feel alive by bidding her blood to run throughout her body, for a person has to have an active pulse to be alive! Without her, she has no reason to live—Cassandra is the torch that warms her heart and brings happiness into her life. She brings her dead spirit to life. Semira can’t believe that she’s been in this depression this whole time. She was blinded by the mirror's power that she believe it was her savior and that wasn't the gift her mother had given her to put revenge on someone else. Semira begins to realize what was happening in her life and how making wrong decisions in life that created her destiny. After everything she went through, she learned that sometimes things aren’t really what they may seem to be. She acknowledges she kept living in her dream and couldn’t see what really happened in her life. However it all adds up eventually and came back while she looks at the mirror as she asked what she could do, so Cassandra begin to exorcised the ghosts in the mirror by saying: "I believe in Mary Worth, the Candyman, and I say to you is this....I bind you Daniel and Mary, bind you from violence against others as well as yourselves. I will never let you take control of another life. I will send you back from once you came." Daniel and Mary came out of the mirror, happy to be together before fading after Cassandra said, "Two loves at long last, your entwined has come to pass." Semira was free, her mother's spirit was replaced in the mirror as a guardian angel while also Semira reunites with her family, apologizing to them while they all live in better lives. But Cassandra and Brother 10 has another matter: To return to Onogoro Island, where the main core of the Wendigos have some sort of 'Hive Queen' called The Wihtikow. During the final battle, Cassandra and the others are no match for The Wihtikow until Cass has an idea: She believes that she has Febris and she can absorb the powers of a Wendigo. The others fear for her but they trust their leader, so Cassandra absorbs from The Wihtikow and she becomes a Wendigo, fighting off the monster, defeating it and turning back to normal before fainting.

In the meantime; Tiermes had witnessed Margaret and George being tortured by Nuada until he couldn't stand it as he faced the villain himself. Nuada is surprised to meet this tough brute, who is protecting two people as Tiermes held two guns towards his enemy. "I like to see you try to make a move on me." Nuada dared. "Bring it on, you wanker trippin' bastard!" challenged Tiermes but the leader called out that they have a female hostage. The hostage is Turan, this shocks him. Tiermes wasn't the only one, the others that know her are stunt and frightened at their helpless leader: Hands tied behind her back, she was a hostage and she had her head bowed. "Nobody moves or the woman goes down!" said the captor leader. "You wouldn't!" Tiermes called out. The leader laughed, "Oh trust me, nothing says more than seeing you all burn like anyone else would!" said the leader. The others snickered, the leader takes Turan by her hair and pulled her beside him as a dirty, perverted look crossed his face. "I wouldn't mind having a woman with me. She could owned me any day, isn't that right toots?" He said. This was it, this was the end of the line.....Or was it? Turan snapped! She lunged at her captors and cut their throats open, blood sprayed out and one of her captors cried out in agony. "Stop her!" said the leader. But the other men tried however she was too invincible. Their carnage is what makes her stronger and kill every last of them. She continued to fight, even if she had hands tied behind her. "Who is this barmy fruitcake?" asked Tiermes. Perun came behind him, patting his shoulder. "That--would be our leader." He said. "You think you're so clever, you think you can tie me up like this. Listen to me, you may be cute but you're not sexy. I have the upper hand in this so you my friend are the downfall." said Turan. She revealed to have a red corset top and short matching skirt. Heels. But she was covered in blood. Someone cut her free, she turned around to see who it was, it was Ares who used a blade to cut her from the bounds and she was at last free.

"Thanks." said Turan. She went in as she slaughtered all the men as she cried out, "ANIMALS!!!! YOU'RE AN ANIMAL, CURSED, DISEASED WITH FILTH AND GRIM!!!!!  More blood was splattered on her suggestive body but she didn't care, she wasn't going to stop until men like them were dead. Turan meets Tiermes and welcomes him into her squad. Later on while in a bathtub with red coloring to it from the color tablet; Turan is bathing alone as she looked dazed while singing creepily to herself: "I see a white door and I want it painted red. No other colors, I want them to turn red. I see the girls walk by dressed in their innocent clothes, I have to turn my head until my violence goes." She begin to giggle maniacally as she continued to croon, "I see a line of cars and they're all splattered red, with roses and my past, both never to return. I see people turn their heads and quickly look away. Like a sinner in church, it just happens every day." As she sang; Sharik and Kai can hear her as they listen to her macabre lyrics of red: "I look inside myself and see my heart is red, I see my white door and must have it splattered red. Maybe then I'll die alone and not have to face the facts. It's not easy facing up when your whole world is red." She stopped as she thought of the day she met her crew: Separated from Norna; Turan was walking alone in the club. She’s trying to dance away her thoughts. Although they still haunt her, Turan thinks that they haven't “won”. She won’t let Orcus or his guys affect her life forever. These men hurt her in more ways than one, but most likely emotionally and physically. Yet, the experience hasn’t killed her soul. However, a pervert name Raymond tries to hit her however Turan is not interested with him. Raymond tried to touch her but she tells him to back off. "Oh come on, sweetheart. Quit playing games!" said Raymond. Turan has bad memories from being torture and shoves him away. This provokes him as a fight broke out with Turan wielding a long, steel pole that had a sharp end of the staff.

It was a gift from her friends that trained her as Turan might use it to fight off against the enemies, especially the men! During the fight, Raymond tackles her as he tries to strangle her until her symbiotic like blood powers threw him backwards and Turan became chaotic. The crowd screams as they ran out. Once it was all over; Turan panted as the damage has been done and it was vacant but she was too stunt to know what happened. Just then, Turan sensed that someone was coming. She quickly hid in the dark as she jumped at the sound of marching footsteps--Like an army or something. "What a dump." said a first. A second remarked, "Yeah. Looks like this place went to hell." "Hmm, hell. I have to agree with that." said a third. Turan was shaken with fear over this, "What to do? What to do? How to get out of this?" She thought. Just then, she heard a soft snarl and peeks out to see a Wendigo. It was going after the people, surprise attack. "Oh crap, what do I do now?" wondered Turan. She had no other choice, she had to save them. She quietly hid in the shadows as Turan sneaks behind the creature and she wrestles with it before stabbing it, not caring for the blood splatter all over the place. Turan panted and panted however she felt someone's hand on her shoulder. With her eyes widened with fear, she turned around, she was face to face with the demented Sharik. "So, it was you." He said. Turan trembled with fear, she pulled out her staff and stabbed him but she pierced his shoulder instead. Sharik looked at where he had been hit. "Does it hurt?" asked Turan, staring at him. "Nope." said Sharik, and then he throbbed her. Hard. Turan cried out in pain at how much it hurt. "Crazy son of a bitch!" She cried, "Why the hell would you do that?!" Sharik snickered, but stops when he heard Turan moaned softly as she grinned while saying, "Actually...I kind of liked it." The others were shocked until a Wendigo tried to kill Turan but these other men saved her, courtesy of Ares. The guys of blood thirst and belligerence gave new respect for her after she repaid them the favor to them.

Daphne always has pictures of herself as a model and treated by the press like royalty while her sister Chloe doesn’t get as much attention. But Chloe is the queen, she likes wishes. Sadly, Chloe is overshadowed by her sister because Daphne was a model while Chloe is nothing but a nobody and when it came to publicity, she was always harassed for being a 'nobody' and was made fun of for being the 'shadow' of her sister. Chloe is human as she made more than one mistake in her life. She came out of the worst situations of life and survived, her life is silly but she welcomes people to it without trying. Everyone has bullied her, doubted her or told her that she wasn’t good enough. She feels like an outcast, talking down about herself just because society makes her feel that way. Her sister noticed this as she tells her that she needs to stop her negative thought process and to have a more positive outlook on life: "With such a negative attitude, you can’t succeed. Change the hate and anger into love and peace. I've done everything I can to help you and other girls. I've already solved her problems and I would like to see you do the same thing." That was advice and Chloe got a mysterious email one day that said, "The world is afraid of different things so you face it instead of coward away. You are still strong and shall not let others define you. You gotta remain calm in all situations. We all at one point or another try to act cool like everyone else but sometimes we try way too hard to be like everyone else when we’re really just wasting our time and should be ourselves. Everyone has an opinion. But everyone can’t be right all the time, I mean--Who cares? We all remove ourselves all the time. Why we choose to act like everyone else instead of being ourselves? Why we don’t know why we thought it was a good idea? Why people judge other people. Never forget this: We think you are perfect to us. So we ask you not to ever ever feel like you are less than perfect."

Elia was recovering from her anxiety but she feels unforgivable in front of the Good Shepherd for speaking her mind but in the void of her doubts; she feels that she is worthy of Yehweh's love. But knows that one day she will be honored by Him in some way. Elia had to be patient, she sings to herself a hymn: "Will that circle be unbroken? By and by, Lord, by and by. There's a better home a-waitin'. In the sky, Lord, in the sky..." But in the far end of her mind, she feels someone saying to her, "...Allah loves you, he will reward you for an act of goodness you have done....He will love you always...." But Allah has been whispering in her ears, "Something is coming, just around the waterway is a new journey for you." Elia was curious to know what this could mean for her. Since she was 16; her prophecy begin after she was redeem from the visions she had before becoming a prophet: She was born to an alcoholic father and drug-addicted mother. The couple regularly fought in front of her, they showed her no attention or affection, and were not interested in religion. One night, the fight escalated to a horrific outcome while Elia hiding behind the couch again would witness her dad killed her mom, then himself. This resulted some people from the city taking Elia to another home, one completely different from her prior one. This home featured a compassionate family who regularly attended church. On her first visit to church, while in Sunday School, Young Elia noticed on the wall a picture of Yehweh hanging on the cross. She commented that she did not know who the man was, but knew that he had to have come down from the cross—as she recognized the man as the one who comforted her while Elia witnessed her parents' violent deaths.

While in her teen years; Elia lay down on the ground, She had been drunk so much she could drink no more. So she fell asleep and had a dream that she rode on a hell-bound train. The engine with blood was red, a brilliantly lit by a brimstone lamp; an imp, for fuel, was shoveling bones. The boiler was filled with liquor; And the Devil himself was the engineer. The passengers made such a motley crew- Church member, atheist, Gentile, and Jew. Rich men in broadcloth and beggars in rags, Handsome young ladies and withered old women, Yellow and black men, red, brown, and white, All chained together-a horrible sight! Then in the distance there rose such a yell, "Ha! Ha!" croaked the Devil, "we're nearing hell." Then oh, how the passengers shrieked with agony, And begged of the Devil to stop the train! But he capered about and sang with glee, And laughed and joked at their anguish. Then Elia awoke with an agonized cry, her clothes soaked with sweat, her hair standing up; And she prayed as she never had prayed before. To be saved from the Devil's power; for she never more rode on the hell-bound train. Back in the present, she begin to sing: "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see....." She also read a line from a scripture: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Elia learns from Allah: "At times, you will feel lonely, but you’re not. I will guide your path, enlighten your days. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." In her depth and despair; some sort of trauma made her into a prophet. It was a woman name Norene Ravin was one of the victims of the massacre, who was asked by one of the perpetrators of the tragedy if she believed in Allah.

After answering “yes” was subsequently shot. Norene was asked if she believed in god. By saying ‘yes’ she would be shot. After Norene’s story came out, many people were touched and gathered to remember her and other victims of the massacre in ganders. Norene knew what would happen if she told the truth, but she spoke it anyway. Given the same choice as Norene, people would stand up for their faith as she did. However, Elia found this martyr to be 'misery' as she would rather live for her Shepherd and became worried however the Good Shepherd's voice spoke to her, assuring her that she can be martyr too if she wants. He will respect whatever opinion Elia has for her. Her mind was back on reality, Elia remembers the rest of the song to Amazing Grace: "....T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear. And Grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace appear, The hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come; 'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far and Grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me. His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures...." Later, Ace was in the men's room by the sink. His hands washed his face as he took deep breaths. "This isn't happening....This isn't happening." He chanted to himself. There was a toilet flush, shifting sounds, and one of the stall doors opening. Roland walks out but stops to glare at Ace, "Ace." said Roland. Ace glares at him, "Roland." He sat up straight and looks away. Roland left as he had to get away from him. But he stops when he saw Ophelia is given food. The way she eats them is quite...provocative! She snacked on fruits like strawberries, pastries, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. Ophelia eats something really slowly and suggestively, even when she ties the stems and pops the tiny red cherries into that rosebud mouth of hers. Roland watches her from the doorway and then he leaves but Roland slides down against the wall, he has his knees up and his head touches the wall. He places his head into his arms as one of his hands go in between and mingles down there.

Roland snaps out of the daydream, panting. He looked around as he sighs. "Crap, what the hell is wrong with me?" He whispered. He gets up and walks away. Later, Ophelia is seen guided through riding a horse, by a trainer. She was teaching her how to, Roland watches Ophelia but someone approaches beside and behind him. “So, where did this girl come from?” Roland turned to see it was Ace, he shrugs as he turns back to Ophelia, “I don’t know.” said Roland. “You sure about that?” asked Ace. “I know what I saw.” Roland confirmed, “I’m not crazy. I didn’t make things up.” “I believe you.” Ace said. Roland looked at Ophelia, who held onto the reins as the trainer guides her to ride the horse before letting go. Ophelia gallops on the horse, she felt a little scared but her fears turn into such excitement and she spreads her arms out like wings. "Who is this girl? An angel? A demon? Did you know?" Aquila asked. "How the hell I should know? You should find out for yourself." Roland noted. They continued to watch her, smiling like a star but they don't know the hurt and the fear she has been masking. In the meantime; People think Turan is just like any other girl but she knows she’s something special. She’s tired of being dismissed as something not unique or special. Turan is a girl, but she often doesn’t act the way girls are expected to act. In fact, she can even seem a little masculine at times! She’s more than capable of being violent and raunchy and cruel, and most of all, resistant to the persuasive techniques. She can be raunchy and dirty and gritty, traits which are especially frowned upon when exhibited by a girl. Being unladylike comes naturally to Turan, because her thoughts aren’t ladylike. Turan doesn’t think this is a particularly bad thing; she says 'blood' and 'murder' so casually, one would think she was being somewhat sarcastic. Most girls are so concerned about their weight and how they look, but she doesn’t care about that stuff; she will eat whatever she wants. By yogurts, which are supposed to taste like real desserts without any calories.

Turan implies that the girls can have their fake food, but she’s going to enjoy the real thing. Girls are never encouraged to fight for things they want, or “let themselves go” when they get older. But Turan isn’t going to be a perfect girl. All these other girls do is ignore her. Because she’s famous, Turan’s become a target of gossip and back-talking. But Turan knows they’re only gossiping about her because they feel bad about themselves, and by now, it’s just annoying to hear it. Turan doesn’t care about her weight or anything like that, and it bores her when girls obsess over their appearances because Turan doesn’t even bother thinking about it. The things they say don’t interest Turan and so she tends to tune them out. She gives the attitude of saying, “Who cares? I’m falling asleep here from how boring you are, can’t you talk about something more interesting?” Of course, the other girls are likely unappreciative of this attitude, and don’t try to talk to her again. These girls are constantly thinking she's a 'witch with a B' and picks on her because of her appearance and actions. But Turan is making fun of “superior” people which makes self-conscious girls feel better about themselves. Society tells girls that they should be soft and polite, and not be capable of  breaking the rules. Everywhere people look in the modern world, the media fuels insane standards for women, particularly the obsession with youth or the physical impression of youth. Turan doesn’t want to go along with what society is telling her to be. Because she doesn’t make an effort to fit in with the other girls, Turan is mocked and ridiculed. She believes the reason these girls gossip about her is to hide their own insecurities. The things they’re saying aren’t true anyways. People wants Turan to be a typical girl and conform to its ideas of what a girl should be like, and for a while she even went along with it. But now, she’s going to laugh in society’s face and do what she wants.

Tiermes is all alone, feeling isolated on the outside of a social circle he doesn’t feel wanted in. And as he observes the fun he wishes he was joining, she cant help but feel like a loser or a freak compared to those people. Whilst everybody is talking and laughing, Tiermes struggles to find the right words to say, he knows he has nothing in common with these people, and so he hesitates whether to join conversations. Tiermes’s good at putting up walls to protect himself from getting hurt by others. He is unpredictable, which is why he doesn’t have much friends. He knows he can’t pretend to be somebody he’s not in this social circle where he doesn’t belong, so Tiermes decides he’s going to leave them and go back into the dark, being the outsider he always feels like. But what happens later on? He’s back to where he was, trying to fit in. If anyone teased him; he gives them a warning to never make her angry or upset, and he threatens them by saying she knows how to use a gun. Tiermes doesn’t feel like he fits in at all, he thinks these people around him are nothing like him and this makes him feel very anxious about what they could be thinking about him. "Just because you know a persons face and their name, that does not mean you know anything about what they’re feeling or what they are thinking." thought Tiermes miserably. At this point, Tiermes has probably took himself to the bathroom for some space to think, and as he is looking at himself in the mirror, he realizes that he is nothing like these people and that he shouldn’t be here. “I would rather be alone than have friends who are fake.” He muttered to himself.

He started drinking in his early teens when his father was an alcoholic however unlike his father, Tiermes hides it from everyone. But his friends knew. As a result of his drinking; his friends suggested that he spend ten weeks in rehab. Tiermes respectfully declined this offer. Tiermes decided he should give it a try. So he did, he went in to introduce himself and explained that he drinks because he was abused. Then he walked out. Tiermes would rather spend his time at home listening to blues and soul artists. He doesn’t want to spend 70 days in a rehabilitation center. Tiermes can learn whatever they are going to teach him at rehab, Tiermes knows that he can’t get smart from drinking but he still does it. His therapist concluded he is suffering from depression. Stubborn Tiermes knows all the stuff the therapists always say, Going to rehab just so people perceive as doing better doesn’t stimulate with him. It isn’t just pride that’s keeping him from entering rehabilitation. Tiermes says he’ll go and keeps pushing it off. But one night, he did something he has regret, he was drinking so much that he was drunk and his friends were trying to help him. Just then, Hagen stepped in and Tiermes was angry so much that he bashed him on the side of his face. Hagen was rushed to the hospital and Tiermes was shocked over what he has done. Tiermes is ashamed of who he is. He wants to be anything but himself, so he is trying out a bunch of bad habits like alcohol. He is trying to compensate for his perceived weaknesses. Even though he acts tough, on the inside he’s a sensitive person. Tiermes’s so insecure that he’s starting to pick up the bad habits, even though he never paid attention to them before.

Tiermes was unsure of himself, so it was easy for him to fall into popular opinions and poor choices. As an alcoholic he was so depressed, he doesn’t commit to any appointments or plans. When someone wants to invite him someplace or even just talk to her over the phone, the phone ends up ringing itself out because it doesn’t get answered. Tiermes is genuinely making himself pitiable. He tells himself to get over it; he’s gotta open up and show the world who he really is. But she’s gotta do this for himself. Tiermes seems tough on the outside, but then again, he’s a sensitive person. he’s human, with feelings and emotions. Tiermes shouldn’t act like he doesn’t care about anyone. He is “troubled,” as in he has his own problems as to where he acts emotionless. But, really, he is a kind, lovable person. He has feelings and emotions and he’s not as strong as he looks. So he went to rehab and he has changed ever since. In his first session; Tiermes was honest for what he did, claiming that he was drinking away his memories of the abuse before. "I remember saying to my friends, Lads--Tonight, lets live it up and be young. Lets go crazy and have fun!'" He explains that he drinks to drown his sorrows, but it only makes him feel angrier and angrier. Tiermes felt  “high” while drinking, because feeling high was worth tears and pain. The nights in his bed are spent over thinking and over analyzing as he wonders when morning will come to relieve him. He thought if he had some and it would take his mind off how poor he is when it comes to sentimental things such as his past. Alcohol is fabricated because it doesn’t mean anything in the end if he’s still alone.

One night; Tiermes steps away from the bar where Hagen is seated. Tiermes hasn’t talked to him in a few months and is trying to muster up the words to say. He gave the scar to him a year ago, and he’s trying to forget that he gave it to him. Tiermes’s no trying to apologise to his friend but because of the drinks and the loud music his apologies are a bit shaky. But he really does feel sorry for how he treated Hagen when he was a troubled drunk. No, when he was an alcoholic and had trouble with substances. Tiermes knows that he isn’t the only option Hagen has. However; If Hagen’s too wasted at the end of the night or too drunk to walk home, Tiermes’s down to help carry his friend home, he still cares. One day, Tiermes has an attack from a Wendigo and has Febris within him as he begins to hallucinate, almost losing control. Hagen stepped in to snap him out of it by saying he forgives him and the two reconciled. Meanwhile; Cassandra, Samson, Zaden, Kamaitachi, Justice, Echo, Borvo, Lleu, Hanuman, Proteus, Christopher, Jack, and Trygve are greeted by the Morrigans, who tell them that they have been reincarnated guardians within Cassandra and the other troubled girls. They explain that there will be different powers as they will be place in sleep and won't wake up until it is done. "When will that be?" asked Cassandra.

"One year later." said the Morrigans. Cass and Brother 10 are shocked at this. "What?" They said. Cassandra felt panic within her, "How are we going to say goodbye?" She asked. "Do not worry, you all won't be sleeping long. For someone will come along and awaken you. Be patient." assured the Morrigans. So, Cassandra and the others were in cryogenic sleep until one year later has passed. Everyone searched for them but found no one however they receive a letter: "Dear Silver Branch, Brother 10 is on a trip right now. We won't return until one year later, don't worry. We'll return very soon. Please wait for us, we will miss you. See you later! Cassandra Endymion and Brother 10." Everyone was sad but their spirits are held up high. They will wait for them one day, even Ophelia is emotional about this however she prays for them to come home safely. She wrote a story about Turan somehow as she wrote an entry in there: This is a preview of my newest project that takes a more approach to the aspects of feminist. Nah, not really but it's about a girl who hates men since she had been wronged. But when she meets a badass army-crew and she eventually has a heart that needed to be defrosted. And this badass army crew is quite like the legendary Shinsengumi. Weird huh? Curse Gintama! HAHA, Kidding! I'm just kidding! Hope you like this sneak preview. Enjoy! --Larunda 'Lara'. The title was called, Artemis Morgan: She Wolf of Victim Shaming.

And the story went like this: Hands tied behind her back, she was a hostage and she had her head bowed. "Nobody moves or the woman goes down!" said the captor leader. "You wouldn't!" A voice called out. The leader laughed, "Oh trust me, nothing says more than seeing you all burn like anyone else would!" said the leader. The others snickered, the leader takes the girl by her hair and pulled her beside him as a dirty, perverted look crossed his face. "I wouldn't mind having a woman with me. She could owned me any day, isn't that right toots?" He said. This was it, this was the end of the line.....Or was it? She snapped! She lunged at her captors and cut their throats open, blood sprayed out and one of her captors cried out in agony. "Stop her!" said the leader. But the other men tried however she was too invincible. Their carnage is what makes her kill every last of them. She continued to fight, even if she had hands tied behind her. "You think you're so clever, you think you can tie me up like this. Listen to me, you may be cute but you're not sexy. I have the upper hand in this so you my friend are the downfall." said the girl. She revealed to have a red corset top and short matching skirt. Heels. But she was covered in blood. Someone cut her free, she turned around to see who it was, it was a commanding officer who used a blade to cut her from the bounds and she was at last free. "Thanks." said the girl.

How did she became this way? Long ago, about one year ago; It was dark and there was no sound except the chirpy ringtone came from Artemis Morgan's cellphone that was in her bag. She answered it, "Hello?" She said. Artemis listened before she responds back, "Hey, it's me. Just got back from 'struttin' my stuff' if you know what I mean." Another pause and then she said, "I know, I know. Look, once I get that hundred grand; then I'm done. OK? It's my last tomorrow." A short pause, "OK, cool. Thanks." And she hung up after saying goodbye to that person. Artemis is a ecdysiast, an exotic dancer to be exact, who is making money to go and live a new life from the life she live of sin and troubles. Artemis was abandoned when she was a kid and was adopted by a family that neglected her. She wished someone would love her for who she is, sometimes she longed for a friend and not be a 'grinder'. Just then, she thought she heard something and turned around. "Who's there?" She called out. No one answered so Artemis kept walking however she felt like someone is following her so she begins to run but that was a big mistake. Her heel broke and slid down a steep street but the figures approached, evil chuckles. "Stay away from me!" cried Artemis but they didn't listen. Artemis was attacked and tortured by five men while Hestia, who were hidden, watched in terror as she weep softly.

Just then, there were police sirens in the air and the men heard them as they escaped. The five men that tortured Artemis, was Joven, Phoebeus, Ajax, Laius, and Ares. Artemis developed a hatred towards men as she gets her revenge. It stripped her of her being a ecdysiast. Her new friend name Hestia rescued Artemis as she took her to Parveen Amzons. The members were Maia, Electra, Taygete, Alcyone, Celaeno, Sterope, and Merope. One day, Artemis woke up with a rash on her back but she had no time to waste for Hestia and Parveen Amazons decide to train her however during the training, the rash came to life as Artemis developed blood-like symbiotic powers with flesh engorged masses across her body. Finally; She tracks down those that wronged her and prepared herself for the craziest journey yet to come: The first one is Ares. Artemis tracks him down in an alley as they sedate him and bring him back to the warehouse! He wakes up to find a video of himself as a child and his mother, He is terrified as he demands to know what’s going on. Artemis appears as she says: “This is the pain you put me through, you brute.” She tells him that Artemis has return from ‘the grave’ to get her revenge against those that hurt her badly! Ares denies of hurting her but Turan growls at him: “I know exactly who you are; you made me into what I am!” And then Ares screams in terror. His body is smothered in flames. The second victim is Laius. Artemis hunts for him as she sedate him before taking him back to the warehouse. Laius wakes up to find himself surrounded by fire as he screams at the fact that he’s in hell!

Artemis appears to bound, gag and tortures him. Before torturing him; She says: “This might hurt a little.” And the nightmare begins for  Laius, who is terrified as the blade came down on him. The third victim is Ajax. Artemis sedated the the psycho before dragging them back to the warehouse! They wake up to see all the pictures of their victims as they demand to know what’s happening. Artemis appears to say that this is payback and she rehabitates herself for assistance and reminds them about the number one rule between sexes: No man is allowed to hit a woman. Ajax denies this until finally Artemis kills him as she screamed random things: “Game! Innocence! Mercy! Life! Wasteful!” The fourth victim is Phoebeus. Artemis go to find him as they sedate him and take him back to the warehouse. Phoebeus wake up to find himsself in the warehouse as they see pictures of other women who were attacked. Phoebeus beg for mercy but Artemis does not believe them: “What? So you can do it again? I’m not stupid, you know. Actions speak louder than words….Like this.” The kill begins as Phoebeus scream for mercy. The last victim, Joven, hears noises and starts to get scared at the eerie place. Artemis arose in blood-spattered, stimulating outfits as she wrangles him, dignified him through smothering and chained him to a table to constrained & gag him! Joven wakes up with a muzzle on his mouth and he lets out a muffle scream as a smirking Artemis torture him to death. One week later; Artemis alone in the club. She’s trying to dance away her thoughts. Although they still haunt her, Artemis thinks that they haven't “won”. She won’t let Joven or his guys affect her life forever. These men hurt her in more ways than one, but most likely emotionally and physically. Yet, the experience hasn’t killed her soul. However, a pervert name Thom tries to hit her however Artemis is not interested with him.

The guy tried to touch her but she tells him to back off. "Oh come on, sweetheart. Quit playing games!" said Thom. Artemis has bad memories from being torture and shoves him away. This provokes him as a fight broke out with Artemis wielding a long, steel pole that had a sharp end of the staff. It was a gift from Parveen Amazons as Artemis might use it to fight off against the enemies, especially the men! During the fight, Thom tackles her as he tries to strangle her until her symbiotic like blood powers threw him backwards and Artemis became chaotic. The crowd screams as they ran out. Once it was all over; Artemis panted as the damage has been done and it was vacant but she was too stunt to know what happened. Just then, Artemis sensed that someone was coming. She quickly hid in the dark as she jumped at the sound of marching footsteps--Like an army or something. "What a dump." said a first. A second remarked, "Yeah. Looks like this place went to hell." "Hmm, hell. I have to agree with that." said a third. Artemis was shaken with fear over this, "What to do? What to do? How to get out of this?" She thought. Just then, she heard a soft snarl and peeks out to see a creature. It was going after the people, surprise attack. "Oh crap, what do I do now?" wondered Artemis. She had no other choice, she had to save them. She quietly hid in the shadows as Artemis sneaks behind the creature and she wrestles with it before incinerate it. Artemis panted and panted however she felt someone's hand on her shoulder. With her eyes widened with fear, she turned around, she was face to face with some guy. He looked psychotic, Artemis was scared that she ran for life but she was still being chased.

Artemis later did research on these guys that hunt her down. These people were known as Neo Ruthless Squad: The leader is Charlemagne, vice commander is known as Roland, first captain is Oliver, and the other lieutenants are Renaud, Ganelon, and Naimon. She remembered seeing them; she pretended to be a man, a silent one, however she is contacted once again. Concurrently, Artemis enters a warehouse, where the gang is, and closed the door behind her. She was still in her red ninja disguise as she kept looking quiet and masculine. But when she got inside; the fewer lights from above flicked on, and there they were—Neo Ruthless Squad. They looked intimidating, look like some sort of fire-like rage ready to burst. The leader, with dark brown hair and mature looking, like his late 20’s. He spoke with a stoic quiet voice, “So, you’re the buyer. We need to talk.” Artemis didn't say anything but she nodded. The leader, Charlemagne Franco, walked around circling Artemis. It was a lie. We saw on the news that those explosives were used to attempt murder. No more games, we want answers.” This was getting out of hand, Artemis tried to back away but was blocked. “Nowhere to run, Sorry.” said Roland. Artemis was ready to fight back but Oliver restrained her and pinned her down, he smirked arrogantly. “Heh, you messed with the wrong crowd, pal.” He snickered. The others were staring down at her. Artemis felt a pulse of panic, trauma of her past came back, from that night. She tried to wrangle away but Oliver used his shoe to press down harder. Artemis felt like she was choking, she resist the urge to blow her cover.  “Uh-uh. I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Oliver warned. He sneered down at Artemis, she felt anger inside her. Stress, the same she felt the night she was attacked. That was it, the limit was broke. No turning back now! Never again, she would have to suffer, never!

Artemis clenched her fist as Oliver grabbed her shirt, “You got some nerve messin’ with…” but he stopped and blushed. He accidentally grasped something round and orb like. “—the hell?” He muttered. Then, it came down on him. "Holy--Boss, this is no dude." Roland said. Charles looks at him, "What?" he asked. "It's a girl!" exclaimed Oliver. "WHAT?!" The others exclaimed. Artemis freed herself away from Roland’s grasp, she revealed her true identity which had a Cheshire grin on her face. “'s the matter boys? Did you know I was a girl?" She said. The other guys were now terrified by this. "No, W--wait! We didn't know--" said Renaud. "Oh, you didn't know? You didn't know I was a girl? Huh? That's what happens when you mess with a WOMAN!!!!" Artemis screeched. She punches, kicks, upper cut hit, and knee to groin on each of the guys; who were terrified to fight back. Charlemagne smiled: "You're not what I suspected..." He said. Artemis scoffed at him, “Oh, you trying to hit on me, hot stuff? I don’t think so. Not since you guys try to kick my ass.” She remarked. The other guys looked embarrassed and they were guilty. Artemis and the others were searching for a kid with supernatural powers. They said that this kid has been causing disasters in the city. They noticed a lot of buildings exploding, cars getting crushed on their own, objects flying or moving on their own, demons that look like pigs, ghosts, snakes, blocks of ice, and magic.

It was time to find out what’s going on. But during their investigation; they meet a young girl with long ebony haired girl who had a pale face and faded red lips. She had bags under eyes which looked red from crying. Her attire was a mahogany long sleeved shirt, matching pants, and pointed black flats. "Are you alone?" Artemis asked. The girl look hesitant. "I--I--I'm lost..." She stuttered. Artemis looked at her and inquired, "Are you hurt?" The girl shook her head, "N--n--No...." She stumbled again. "C'mon, we'll help you find your family." Artemis said to her kindly. Artemis and Hestia lead the girl away, however the girl looked down to see her spear tucked in her sheath so she used her telekinesis and the spear floated towards her. But Hestia looked, his expression was horrified. "Um, Artemis---?" She said. Artemis turned, but what she saw stunt her. The girl confront her with her weapon, "Who are you, and how did you learn to do that?” Artemis asked. "You should know, you're the ones hunting me!" The girl exclaimed with such emotion. "Wait, you mean...You--" Artemis started to ask, but the girl ran away and Artemis instructed the men to not hurt her but captured her. The girl was faster than they were and she pointed a gun at them, "Wait! Don't shoot!" Hestia cried. The girl jumped farther and aimed the gun at the cliff, "Stay away from me!" She called out, the girl pulled the trigger as an explosive bullet cause a smoke and Artemis and the other guys suddenly lost sight of her. They were disappointed however they hope to find her again.

Artemis was watching the news where she saw that an infant faced southern belle name Sophia Dallas. She was being interview of women being tortured by men. Sophia simply says that women are making excuses as they like feeling tortured and into submission. Artemis was enraged by this, she couldn’t believe this. She was furious, who does this woman think she is? A Messiah complex of a guru? So she planted the bomb and called Sophia anonymously to tell her about the bomb before hanging up. But Sophia, panicked slightly, as she contacted the bomb squad figured out how to deactivate it. It was a difficult task but they managed to stop it in time. Artemis learned that the bomb didn’t go off, she was really upset about it. She went over to Sophia’s mansion to investigate and attempts to shoot the perpetrators that deactivate the bomb. On the news; the reports of lives being injured. When Hestia saw this; she was in shock. “Oh my…God…Are you fricking kidding me?” She rasped. Hestia had enough, she turned to the others, who are also stunt at this. “We gotta do something, this is serious. If she continues like this, she could kill someone. We have no other choice, for Artemis’s safety; we’re going to kidnap her. Let’s go, we have a harpy to tame.” Hestia announced, and off they went! Artemis was insane of blood she spilled of her victims. She was searching for Sophia, which is she almost kills her however Hestia stops her from killing Sophia. “NO, WHYYYYYY?” Artemis cried. “This is gone long enough. You are out of line!” Hestia admonished. Artemis breaks free and tackles her own friend to the ground but Hestia kicked her down.

Artemis looked at her with shock however Hestia looked at her calmly. "Don't you see? I did this for you. I was trying to tell you something, all this time.” Hestia said gently, “You can’t go on like this. Please, stop. Before it’s too late. Who cares what anyone said about you, you have a whole life ahead.” Artemis was trembling, she passed out. Later, Artemis is in the mental hospital ward, she will be treated for her alleged bipolar behavior. Later on, Artemis and her squad were invited to some sort of day party of mingling at the opening of a new hotel. Artemis was touched as she went to the man and thanked him. But she begins to wonder out of curiosity. "So, who invited us? Who's the princess that invited us?" asked Artemis. The guy smiles, "She's waiting for you." He turns around and called out, "Hey, Sophie. Your 'friends' are here." Then a familiar voice, a Southern belle, called out. "Howdy y'all!" That voice made Artemis's blood turned cold. "Oh no!" She moaned. Kai recognized that voice, "Is that who I think it is?" He asked. Artemis put her face in her hands, "Yes..." She squeaked. Out of all the people she wasn't thrilled, this girl had to be one of them. It was Sophia, the southern belle. She wore a low cut, see through shirt. Daisy Duke shorts. High heels. D cup sized bust in that shirt. She had a 'babyface' beau. Sophia's face lit up when she arrived and saw Artemis and gave her a hug as if they were long friends. "I haven't seen you since that blow up attempt, doll. You look better than before. It's nice to see a pretty girl like you..." ranted Sophia with delight.

Drenched in the rainy weather; Artemis and the others were searching for the girl that escaped earlier. During this time, A figure was walking past them but the person accidentally bumps into one of the guys, who recognized who this person is--It was the girl! Immediately, the girl hid under her hood even further. She hurried away, barefoot, and inside a cathedral. She shut the door as she makes her way inside to stay warm. While trying to stay warm, she looked around to see other people, who are praying. The girl looked down and pulled out a cross that is chained around her neck; she felt guilty for not praying in so long, forgot how great Yehweh was to her. But...She had to keep hidden. No matter what, she will never go back to that day...That place...Never again. The girl started to relax as she made her way through the cathedral, away from the people praying. She walked down a column where candlesticks were aligned as well as lit up as the girl kept walking further. She walked by as shadows of people walking in a different direction from her. Unknown to her, the girl was being followed quietly by someone. No, more than one. Reaching the reflection of the stained glass's godly rays; the girl becomes emotional as she bent her knees to the floor where she prayed silently. She looked up to see a statue of Nova Maria in front of her with the child, Yehshua, in her arms. She placed her hands in a prayer and begin to beseech. Just then, she saw multiple shadows. The girl turned around, "No...You!" She gasped. Her telekinetic powers activated and were about to attack however Artemis held up her hands, motioning the others who had their powers and weapons ready to stand down, saying to the girl: "Easy, easy. We just want to talk to you....Can we take this more privately?"

"NO!" cried the girl. Her powers forced everyone back and she took off running. Artemis was not going to let this girl escape. Never again.  Her powers forced everyone back and she took off running. Artemis was not going to let this girl escape. Never again. "Please! I swear, we will never hurt you!" Artemis begged, coaxing her. "You can't take me there, I beg of you! Don't take me back there!" The girl shrieking, "Stay away, get out! Leave me alone! Don't come near me!" Her powers caused objects to float in the air, "Wait! Easy, you can't do---" Artemis protested. However, The girl didn't listen so then Artemis used her blood symbiotic powers and knocks her out. "You got her!" Renaud cried. "Nice one." Roland remarked. Artemis sighed deeply, she looked over and said to the girl, "Sorry. But I want to help you...I don't know where to take you back to anyway." Later, The girl was sitting in there for awhile and she was cowering in fear. She was trembling in fear as she fears of why she was kidnapped here. Her name was Dido, she was running away from home but that wasn't the real story. Dido was running from her past as she tries to get away from the trauma of her life. At first, she didn't want to talk but she is comforted by Artemis and some who are less violent. Finally, Dido opens up: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood; The sun is shining, the sky is clear and blue, even the wind breeze nicely. There was an average family, this family had discover Dido when she was walking in the rain by herself, the father didn't like to see Dido by herself in the rain and takes her under his wing. The family were shocked to find out that Dido was no ordinary girl; she had enhanced abilities of speed, agility, regenerate healing, and other special powers.

Her past is a shocker: Dido came from a facility which was a place where children with special needs are treated like they are not human and mistreated badly for not behaving right. It was a living hell for poor Dido. She didn't want to talk about anything else for now.

Chapter 3: The Glory of Ten Powers

"This is your ship?" Pyramus asked. He, Thisbe, and Knutine were amazed to see the ship which they have been searching for in a forest of where it landed. It was in good condition surprisingly for a ship to survive. Normal ships would most likely be in pieces after a crash. "Yeah, a beau ain't she? It's called the Iron Mountain. My, my, what a wonderful ship and it flies in the sky. Not on the sea." explained Patroklos. Knutine was so happy, she had never seen anything like it before. "Wow. Can we ride it?" She asked, looking at her foster parents. Pyramus and Thisbe look at each other before nodding. "Yeah. Where do we go from there?" Pyramus asked. "You'll see a whole new world." Jeremiah said. "Ooooh!" said Knutine, her eyes sparkled with joy and excitement. Jeremiah turned to them, "So, all aboard? Setting forth, mates?" He asked. "Let's set for sail, brother." announced Patroklos. Tiermes was still facing Nuada but after seeing the Iron Mountain; he finds himself floating to it. This shocks him as he has no idea what the heck was going on. Hagen, Iktomi and Glen also saw the ship as they followed it, gliding in the air. The next world that they went to is known as Chryse. There is a boy name Tobit is a painfully shy and quiet boy who is slightly overweight and has flat mousy hair. He is a bullied young man who is about 16 years of age.

High school. Don't you hate it? The students picking on you, they don't leave you alone. But that wasn't the only problem, Tobit also has parents that never really liked him except one: It was his kind, motherly teacher name Miss Rien. One day, Tobit came home upset from being humiliated. While in the bathroom after he took a shower; Tobit is looking at his reflection and reliving the fact that school ended in disaster. He is also upset about his family not noticing because it makes things worse because he is not  ‘perfect’. he’s questioning whether being someone different is really his role to play in the world. Tobit realizes that if he were to be able to speak his mind all the time, he’d disgrace his friends and they’d be ashamed. Tobit remembered that someone once said that reflections are meant to cast the character of objects. Therefore, he wants his reflection to portray his true character as a brave, strong, and powerful individual; she does not want his reflection to portray a vulnerable scapegoat who’s only role in life is to cower in fear. Nonetheless, Tobit does not know how to make the reflection in his mind become a reflection in reality. Things change when a girl name Sariah Rafaelo, who is 17 years old and beautiful. It all started like this, he was sitting at her desk, trying to focus on the lesson. His flat mousy hair was all she could feel between her fingers. Tobit was feeling on edge, the teacher rambled on and on. He felt bored and looked around the room to see a pretty girl staring at him. Tobit turned away but then out of curiosity, he turned back to see the girl, Sariah was still looking at her, he smiled at her. Tobit glanced away.

But before the bell rang, Tobit turns to Sariah who was staring at her. Her small smile grew into a wondrous grin. "Why is she staring at me? Why is she smiling at me?" Tobit thought. The bell rang, Tobit collected his things and rushed out of the room. However, he has been receiving weird dreams since his encounter with Sariah: The first was about him entering an elevator but on the elevator buttons, there was a rabbit on there. Curious, Tobit pressed it as she then suddenly felt the elevator going faster and twisting around and around. The second was while he wandered to a forest and saw a glowing well. Tobit peered in the well but then he lost his balance and fell into the well. And the third and last dream is he was taking a walk when he saw a whitish blue deer who runs away after Tobir saw it and he went after it. The deer sprinted faster, Tobit followed it, no matter how tired he was, he didn't stop until he found that deer. The deer went into a tunnel and Tobit followed it, disappearing into a vortex. Sariah is trying to reach through to him, no matter how scary life might be. This isn’t much comfort to Tobit though, who’s seen first hand on what he is not to anybody. But a voice in his head tells him: "Pure beauty in one hand and sure death in the other. Beware of Sariah—she is beautiful, powerful and yet dangerous." Tobit woke up but the next day, Sariah helps Tobit become a better person in his life into a world to reclaim his justice, this world is called Forsetiland. In Forsetiland; Tobit can find justice with the help of this mysterious girl. Sariah gives him some advice: Sariah advises Tobit that the real world is not what anyone credulously imagines it to be: it is frightening, it is horrible, and it is very dangerous.

Therefore, Tobit should be content with his surroundings on Forsetiland and what they have to offer, which are happiness, awe, and safety — the optimistic aspects of life. She tells him that being a bullied victim but in Forsetiland; it gets bad when Tobit is told that he and Sariah are about to face monsters in battle, so they need to start training. While in training; Tobit might be strong, but clearly needs to do more cardio. Evidently Tobit doesn’t hold his prospects for surviving very highly, he didn't do any lifting weights before. But he noticed that he is scared of the upcoming war because of all the vigorous training. However he's quite worried, he hopes she won’t see that he is in fact, a wimp, not brave. But he should have more cardio and Sariah seeing his weak performance as a warrior. Although Tobit loses hope, but by the end of the day he has prove capable of the seemingly impossible tasks he doubted. He learns that everyone must find its place in Forsetiland and in life of reality, no matter how much they suffer on the path. "You never have the chance to be happy if you focus on your struggles and let them ruin you. Silence can be very peaceful. As you end your relationship with your struggles and pain, you will find peace. Even though people might have not known the struggles you've been through they see you and have nothing positive to say, which makes you feel worthless." said Sariah. "They can take everything from you or say what they want about you. Treat you like you're weak and fragile, like glass that can be broken or paper that is easily torn. Let them do what they want to break you down, you will rise above the pain and fear! You will stand tall."

Later on, Patroklos woke up, lying on the bed and gets up from his bed. He learns of what's going on. He and Jeremiah learn what's going on as they went to look around but told Pyramus, Thisbe, and Knutine to stay--Much to their dismay. Not to mention their curiosity. While he explored around, Patroklos was curious so much that he didn't watch where he was going, he slammed into someone! "Oh hey--" Hee started to say but he saw that it was Tobit. He looked at him as he smiled at him, "Well hello there, lad." Patroklos said, surprised. Tobit felt really embarrassed by what just happened, "I'm sorry, I didn't know where I was going, I apologize!" stuttered Tobit. Patroklos was surprised as he comforted the boy, "It's fine." He answered. Tobit is touched by his smile, he sure was nice. But Patroklos begins to hear his thoughts in her mind. "Are you OK?" asked Tobit. "Uh, yes. Swishy really." said Patroklos quickly. "What's your name?" asked Tobit. "My name is Patroklos, what's yours?" answered Patroklos. "Tobit." said the young man. Patroklos nodded, "Yes...Do tell, Tobit. Are you a struggling lad with no place in this world?" He asked. Tobit looked at him with surprise, "How--How did you know?" He asked. Patroklos looked over at him and said with a smile, "I don't know. I guess my mind can read your mind." Patroklos replied. Tobit looked at him with dazed amazement, "OK. Let's talk this out." He finally said. Patroklos seemed intrigued, "'Ah, Us lads? Like friends, perhaps?" He asked. "I like to get to know you, Tobit. I really do." While talking to one another, they encounter Krimhild, who is Sariah's rival. She is sweet around Tobit as she requests if she can train with him. Tobit shyly accepts however Patroklos begins to grow suspicious. During training, Patroklos begins to see Krimhild's vulnerable, timid nature was just a ruse and she was a sadistic, aroused by suffering, and vows to make Tobit tremble as the three were emit to Forsetiland.

Krimhild tells Tobit that Sariah is having fun with her 'boytoy' but when she's done having fun; she is sure to leave him before he leaves her. Sariah is not getting so attached to someone who can walk out of her life. Because boys could do that to her exactly and leave her broken in the dust. She doesn't let her heart be easy to grab because it could be taken advantage of. She looks sweet and innocent so Tobit won't know what's coming for him. She wants to keep him wanted her, even if he could resist her anyways. "Boys will be boys, they always like a little adventure in a girl of a relationship. And then she told me about you, 'When I break your heart, you'll realize you've falling in love with me. Someone he has never really know.' Girls are being taken advantage of so easily. They don't know who to trust." explained Krimhild. Tobit is confused as he doesn't know what to do but Patroklos can see through this girl's lies. "You sure are a manipulative bastard, aren't you?" He said. Krimhild chuckles as she says that Tobit is her 'boytoy' too as she finds him 'cute' when he's helpless. Tobit was so angry as he tries to fight Krimhild, but she dodges him. It isn't long until Sariah arrives but Tobit is so angry and tried to hurt Sariah for being a pawn, "Is that all I was to you, Sariah? A 'boytoy'?!" exclaimed Tobit, "You liar, you lied to me! I hate you, I trusted you!" It was out of control but Sariah then walked over to him calmly, then embraced him warmly which seems to calm down. "I promises that my love will be easy, painless, and calming to the troubled past. You're just scared I'm just going to break your heart. I want to let you know that I want us to live in happiness." assured Sariah. Weeping tears of joy, Tobit felt better as he remembers her words echoing in his mind: "They can take everything from you or say what they want about you. Treat you like you're weak and fragile, like glass that can be broken or paper that is easily torn. Let them do what they want to break you down, you will rise above the pain and fear! You will stand tall."

Tobit turns to Krimhild and says, "You may take away my happiness and break me down. Sometimes I feel weak like glass or paper and people are gonna keep trying to hurt her but I will be fighting back to overcome these obstacles and be strong for myself. When I overcome; I will be tall and powerful like a skyscraper." He felt the power coursing from within as he continued to say, "Even if the world ends and we only have ten minutes to live and they’re the only ones in sight of each other, I won’t even knock that. Take all your crap and bullshit because I don’t want drama in your life! I seriously don’t care about you or how you made me go against Sariah!" After dealing with her talking and torment long enough, Tobit gives Krimhild a good sucker punch across her face! Later, Tobit and Sariah came to Iron Mountain, where they meet Pyramus, Thisbe, and Knutine. They were heading out until they went higher--where they found themselves in Carlisle on a floating island. Just then, they encountered with a new foe coming at them: "Die, you bastards!" Isko cried, attacking Patroklos and his friends. "What the--?" Tobit said. "Look out!" Pyramus and the others dodged it, however a fight breaks out until finally, a voice cries out: "Hold it!" They all stopped when they saw Patroklos and Samson. "What are you guys doing?" Cassandra asked. Isko looked at them, "Who are you guys?" He asked. "I'm Patroklos and this is my gang." introduced Patroklos, gesturing towards the others next to him. Isko sneered at the two, "What a bunch of freaks doing here?" He remarked. The others were offended, "FREAKS?!" The fight breaks out, Knutine stepped out of the way. She went towards Jeremiah. Patroklos stared at everyone fighting and rolled his eyes up to the ceiling, then he flexed out his hand and yelled, "Ciúin!" The others were lifted from the ground, Patroklos couldn't believe that he was the only doing this.

Then he drops them down safely, he sighed and smiled. "Now, tell me....who's the freak now?" asked Patroklos with a witty look on his face. The others stared up in amazement, "Wow...." They chorused. Patroklos and Jeremiah reunited with their friends however Krimhild confronted them until she is faced with Cassandra, who saves Patroklos and the others, "Hi there." said Cassandra, "Nice to meet you but you're going down." She uses her telekinesis to take down Krimhild and then sends her flying. Cassandra welcomes the newcomers however Patroklos noticed something was wrong. "What happened to you there?" asked Patroklos, pointed to the scars on her upper arms and thighs. Cassandra looks at them as she shrugs while trembling slightly, "Just a freak accident." She claimed. But it was no accident. Earlier before; Cassandra sought shelter in a cathedral and there she embraced the statue of Queen of Heaven in supplication for her protection, where she was abducted and brutally tortured by Lesser. She was clinging so tightly to the statue of the Maiden that Lesser knocked it over from its stand as he dragged her away. Brother 10 watched this in horror as anger burnt in their hearts. Then, they broke the rules and went down their to confront Lesser. Mimir watched this, he was amazed that Brother 10 would break the rules to help their friend. Later, Mimir did not punish anyone but since Brother 10 broke the rules, they were only given a second chance to not do it again nor were they treated special but some from Brother 10 didn't care if they broke the rules, they cared of their friend who was in trouble. In reality; The Wendigos broke her reverie as Cassandra and the rest team up to fight them however Patroklos had a burst of power within him that eliminated all of the creatures. Cassandra was shocked by what just happened and looked up at Patroklos. "You're safe now, lassie." assured Patroklos.

Cassandra stared at him for a moment before speaking. "You used your mind, didn't you?" asked Cassandra. Patroklos looked flabbergasted, "No I didn't." lied Patroklos with a smile. "No, I'm telling the truth! It was you, I know--Your thoughts, I know you are from Fortunate Isles!" claimed Cassandra. Patroklos stood there, he and his allies were shocked as Patroklos fled from the room. He ran to the nearest room, opened it and slammed it shut. He locked it, Patroklos panted, he leaned on the closed door. He couldn't believe what she just discovered. "I'm screwed." moaned Patroklos. Then he felt the door knocking and managed to stay quiet. But heard Cassandra's voice, "Patroklos...I know that you're still there. People have probably wondered why you didn’t even come out. I'm often told to be brave, even when it feels hopeless. I'm always been there for you." It sounded like the same thing that Brynhilde said to her once. It was really the sweetest thing that Patroklos has ever heard. Nobody, except his brother and his friends had cared about him. However, knowing what his powers can do to as he still tries to stay away while Cassandra tries him best to help Patroklos. She is trying to reach through to him, no matter how scary his powers might be. Patroklos then said, "Lassie. I don't want you to waste your time worrying about me. Instead go and be surrounded by people. I believe that you will be able to feel the warm feeling of happiness that I was not able to feel." Cassandra can hear his thoughts are in distressed: He is still not free from fear; he is still not free from what he believes is his power. Patroklos is not safe with her. He is afraid he will hurt someone as good and pure as her.

"Don't you wish for a better life? Your friends are resurrected. And your dad is anew. Your mother is living a happy life. You feel like being in Silver Branch never happened." Patroklos said. "No, this...This is not right." said Cassandra, fearful a little. "Come on, look around you. It's much better than here. No work, no trouble with Wendigos. Is this what you want?" Patroklos suggested. He took a deep breath as he can read more of her thoughts: "Your friends that you thought they were dead are here. The people that did that prom massacre never existed. And your father never abused you or your mother. He's a good man. And this is real, very much real." Cassandra thought for a moment about it, that would be nice as she nodded for a second. "So, what are you waiting for? Take the wheel, my dear." said Patroklos. Cassandra bowed her head as she thought for a moment again, "I never had a good life didn't I?" She finally said. However, Cass clenched her hand into a fist. "But I still had something back--My sanity." She cried. Then her telekinesis begin to make the doors crack as Patroklos can feel them as he begin to step back but he can hear Cassandra's voice: "Samson was a good person, he was kinder and believe in friendship. He was orphaned and raised by a kind woman. Justice was partial blind once but he was given an operation and had an amazing gift to see things that normal 20-20 vision. Echo had suffered of a hearing but he regained his hearing and can hear things from far away. Borvo was a fragile child as he was emotionally hurt so that's why he was hurt before. He gained water powers." The more she mentioned the names, the more the door continues to crack and crack. Brother 10 was touched by this as they continued to cheer for her. Patroklos felt his heart at its core begin to stir of a strange emotion. Cassandra continued, "Kamaitachi, Hanuman, Lleu, Proteus, Christopher--They suffered so many things. Family loss for Kamaitachi, regrets after arguments before deaths of loved ones for Hanuman, was not recognize for his smarts--Lleu. Christopher was bullied because he was too tall. Proteus was always a troubled kid but he had spirit. Never gave up. Zaden wanted to be stronger and he was a slave but he found his strength and was respected."

She took a breath before continuing once more: "Brynhilde, Elric, Ligeia, Tannhauser, Melusine, Thanatos, Trygve, Arcturus....And more importantly--Jack." She said. Crack, crack, crack went the door. Patroklos's heart felt like the strings were being pulled gently, his eyes watered a little and he trembled. "Countless soldiers that died fighting Revenants in his world. Just like flowers that are carelessly stepped on, the names of the soldiers that have been sent out to fight the Revenants are often unknown. They simply become numbers. Some just sit around wishing for something good to happen, but there's no effect. His government don’t respect the resolve humanity has to move on past deceased loved ones and keep on fighting. They thinks they are just pawns. They’re livestock, sitting there waiting for the next attack. They don’t fight back. These people are okay with that. They’re just complacent. These people think that they don’t want to have to fight back, so they rely on the thought that they’re safe and prospering as a society. Jack once taught me that you have to do something about the situation that you’re in, otherwise nothing will change. If you have the motivation to fight, you have the power to make a change. At least give the people the same respect you give dying animals. Let them have the freedom to fight back. Don’t force them to accept starvation. The horror and humiliation of the Revenants is what motivates Jack to fight. He said this to me, 'I am the hunter that slaughters my prey, Consumed with surging blood lust because of the anger. I begin to feed off of the blood the monsters shed, growing stronger with each kill that is successful. A hunter has no need for rest when the prey is upon them.'" Patroklos watched with tears in his eyes as the door cracked open and a glowing Cassandra reached out a hand as she said, "I have glory of ten powers. I have the strength of many allies and friends. And you are one of them."

Patroklos was filled with tears in his eyes. He nodded as he took Cassandra's hand. Jeremiah was also accepted by Eulalie, Iktomi is accepted in by Ariadne, Tiermes is accepted in from Turan and Norna, Hagen is accepted in from Melisande and Glen is accepted in by Juana. Even the mysterious Pythia was invited by Deirdre. And it looks like things are looking up for good. Meanwhile, there is a place within Carlisle in a place called Axis Mundi. While at their friend, Theodora's house; Ramman and Utu had a birthday present they wanted to present. They got out a table and draw something on the table before using the elements of solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. They created a music box but their childhood friend Theodora screamed because it looked inhuman from the looks of it. Theodora begin to cry while the brothers comfort her. Later, Ramman and Utu were outside as they waited to be punished. "Theodora, honey, they weren't trying to scare you. They were trying to do something special on your birthday." Theodora's parents said. "I'm sorry for this." said Baucis with chagrin, "This was a mistake. We'll give them a talking to about this." Philemon was so intrigued by what he was seeing, "A work of art." He mumbled. Baucis looked at her husband, "Philemon?" She asked. "Baucis, punishing our boys for a piece of beautiful craftsmanship? Nonsense! It's amazing! Look at this work." said Philemon. Theodora's parents had to agree, "But I didn't know you teach them." said the father. Philemon shake his head, "I didn't. I think they might have went into my study." He admitted. On the way home; Baucis and Utu laughed as Philemon was reading the book. Philemon then asked his sons how did they know how to learn elemental alchemy. Ramman and Utu explain they learned it from the books in Philemon's study, whenever he's away somewhere on those 'trips' he goes to. Ramman looked up nervously, "Are you mad at us?" He asked. "Not at all." said Philemon, "I'm proud of you." "I am as well." agreed Baucis. "I think we should brag to everyone we know."

And so, Philemon let his sons in his study. Ramman and Utu took the opportunity to study from the books, Theodora started to hang out with them. When the trio hangs out, Utu sometimes gets in trouble with the bullies and Ramman & Theodora come to his rescue. Utu appreciates at them however he hates being rescued all the time. It was a nice to place to live but there was only one problem; the sun would set and everyone was quick to get back home. Ferocious monsters that feed on human blood and flesh, Wendigos they were called. Children and teenagers were forbidden to go out alone. Even adults weren't allowed to go out alone either. If anyone disobeyed, they will be killed by the Wendigos. And this is true, there's a lot crimes involving with the Wendigos. Ramman and Utu obeyed to these rules however Ramman wasn't sure if they were real or not. He wanted to know if they were real or not. Ramman sometimes likes to scare Utu about the Wendigos by leaning over and whispering, "Look Utu, there's one!" and Utu would jump and run. And Ramman would laugh. Finally Theodora turned on him. "If you want to know so badly," she said, "go into the city tonight to see those monsters." "Fine. I'll do it," said Ramman. "I walk out every day. Why would it be different at night? Tomorrow night I'll take my flashlight and walk out to town. If I get scared, I'll never make fun of Utu again." The next night Theodora went to the brothers' house to see him come out. When she arrived, the boys' father, who was the only one at home, was pleading with his sons not to go. "We're gonna be OK, Dad" he said. "There's nothing to be afraid of."

He took his flashlight and headed down towards town. While traveling there, Theodora and Utu wondered if Ramman was right. Maybe they were afraid of things that they never seen. Theodora and Utu followed him and see for themselves, but they stayed far behind in case he ran into trouble. The trio were standing in a circle of light, looking left and right. All of a sudden his flashlight burnt out. The three friends stood paralyzed in the gloaming, waiting for something awful to happen. Just then, something attacked Ramman and then there was a struggle between the creature, Ramman tried to get the monster off him however the beast seized his arm and bit him in his wrist. Ramman screamed, then he fainted from blood loss. Utu and Theodora were so scared as they couldn't believe what they just witnessed. The next minute Theodora was carrying Ramman who was alive but unconscious. "Please...Help us, He's dying of blood loss!" Theodora sobbed. Philemon recognized Theodora underneath all that mess of wet long hair. "Theodora? Is that you?" He asked. Ramman was unconscious however he needed an operation or he'll die. So Theodora and Utu helped out by giving their friend blood transfusions however they didn't know. After all they've been through, they were going to find their liberation and find a way to shatter themselves from the lives they live in.  During the attack of the Wendigos; Baucis stepped in and let herself take for the kill. "Mom! No!" cried Ramman. "Ramman, get out of here now!" exclaimed Baucis. "No, I'm not leaving you!" Ramman screamed. Before his mother could say anything else, she gets stabbed in the chest and Kali pulled them along as Ramman and Utu cried in fear, "Mooooommmmmm!!!!!!" Tears were cascading down their faces.

The two of them lost consciousness, however they woke up in the custody of Theodora's parents. They were recovering as the townspeople are shocked to find out what happened. There was a funeral held for Baucis however Philemon didn't come. Philemon had gone missing since the tragedy and some were whispering, "How could Philemon not come to his wife's funeral? That is very inhuman of him!" and "His sons are having it worse, I thought Philemon cared about his wife!" Losing his mother to a Wendigo was the most unsettling mental wound, and ever since that day; Ramman vowed to wipe out as many as possible. He had heard about Silver Branch as his friends would like to go there. In the meantime; there was once a female prophet name Elia, who once said in her prayers about how she sees the Holy Dove as a 'guardian'. While she slept; she had a nightmare that provoked her into a panic as a 'demon' accused her of 'slander' against the Dove. Elia woke up as she believes she does not have a place in the heavens with the Good Shepherd. But then, the Good Shepherd said to her that there are different interpretations out there of the Holy Dove. He said some say that the Dove is interpreted as a Spirit. Some see it as a dove flying in the sky, while others believe it is the maid in the heavens. And there are others like it. Elia fears of sleep so she prays to the Shepherd to take her anxiety and emotions as her prayers had been answered. Then, Elia dreamt of a 'warrior in white' who had dark hair but wore white and stood up against the Wendigos. The Wendigos tried to overpower him but they were no match alas and were defeated by the dark haired, light skinned, white attired boy. Elia felt relief and liberation however faint fear was beginning to torture Elia more. But Elia continued to pray for peaceful sleep for there were 'mares', impsh creatures that disrupt sleep of nightmares, trying to torture more of nightmares but Elia prays much more stronger and then has more dreams.

But there was one that left her wondering: She dreamt that the warrior in white is called in to get ready for a battle. Elia wonders what could this mean, "Get ready for what?" She then reads a verse: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?  Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin." She's not the only one who had a dream; Ophelia has one about where she was at the pool and she saw her former peers from her after school Taekwon-Do classes that she used to took but funny enough, they don't remember her however she remembers them and she remembers in the next sequence that she could hear someone coming as she did her best to hide but the scary unknown figure found her and got in her face. In the meantime; Laran was thinking about Ophelia and her amazing her powers. How he was shocked to see an enraged Ophelia exclaiming like a banshee: "That was for calling me 'prissy'!" Then she took her gun and shot at the Wendigos that were coming from above and falling like flies. "And that's for saying I was a girl to fight!" Ophelia bellowed. A Wendigo tried to sneak attack her, but Ophelia knocked him with her fist without turning around. She took the lifeless body and threw at Laran's lackeys, who fell down in a heap.

Ophelia twirled her gun and tucked it back in its case. "And THAT'S FOR YOUR PERVERY LACKEYS!!!!!" She cried out. "Did you have to go and yell like that?" One of the lackeys asked. "I can make you deaf if you prefer, want that?!" proclaim Ophelia, her eye was twitching but she looked like she calmed down. However; Ophelia laughs cynically and weakly, "So let me see if I got this right....." She said. Then she looks at Laran with a glare, "I'm a prissy, girlie girl who is afraid I'll break a nail? Hello, did you see me whoop those guys asses? What? Is that not good enough for ya, brotha? Are you satisfied? are you blind as a bat? Or are you just a sexist?" She ranted. Laran smirks, amused at her anger. "Oh no, I see how it is and I am NOT going to accept that." Ophelia storms over to him as she continued to fulminate, "I'M HERE TO SAVE YOU SO SHUT UP!!!!!!!!" The lackeys screamed like girls and hid, Laran was amazed by this. He turns to Ophelia, "You just scared my boys with your....guts...." said Laran. "My brother doesn't call me Miss Sass-a-Phrass for nothing, PAL!!!!" said Ophelia with a sassy tone. Laran looked surprised, not scared at all, then he smirks.
"Funny." was his response and walks away. Ophelia looked at him in disbelief, "What? You should be scared!" She cried, following him. He let out a low chuckle, "I don't do fear." said Laran. Ophelia gave him a weird look, "Oh come on!!!! The scary ones are afraid too!" Laran thought about this, he smirks. "She had a point. But she's a hell lot cute." He said to himself. Then he thought about the time he saved her from his bastard father: Laran pulled away, glaring at his father who looked at him in amazement. "You've gotten stronger, Laran." said Sarpedon.

"Next time you hurt a girl, you'll be dealing with me." threatened Laran, he kicked his dad and walked out. Ophelia followed him, Laran didn't say anything to her. But he said one thing: "I need you to wait for me at the inn. Don't do anything until I get back, got it?" Ophelia nodded, "OK." and she obeyed to this, she knew she was in big trouble. Later on; Laran walks over to the guilty Ophelia, who didn't look up at him. Laran sat next to her but not too close. Ophelia didn't want to look at him. It was quiet for a moment. But silence wasn't too long. "Do you know why I'm here?" Laran asked. Ophelia still didn't look up, "Yes." She said. "What am I here for?" questioned Laran in a strained voice. Ophelia was silent for a moment before she answered, "Because I went on a rampage against your father. And I didn't tell you." "Why didn't you tell me?" demanded Laran. Ophelia shrugged, "I don't know, I was pissed." She said. Ophelia looked up but not at him. "Are you mad?" asked Ophelia. Laran nodded, "I'm pissed." He replied. Ophelia squeezed her eyes shut. "Knew it." She muttered. "I am. Were you trying to kill the son of a bitch? I told you to leave him to me!" said Laran. "I know. But I was filled with anger." Ophelia protested. "At what?" Laran asked. "The way he abandoned you. How hurt you were but you know what pissed me off? He made fun of you, calling you a disgraceful outcast that I'm ashamed to call him my son. He said you were a brat that was spoiled. And how he was betrayed by how much of a brat." ranted Ophelia. She was out of breath and waited for Laran to say something. "You know that's not true." He finally said. "I know, I took out his lies on him. I kicked the crap out of him." Ophelia said.

"You can't changed people, you solve other people's problems. And you can't make every thing all right." Laran said in a hard tone to his voice. Ophelia hugged her knees, "I know what it's like." She mumbled. "What?" asked Laran. "Nothing." said Ophelia, still not looking at him. "Look at me." Laran commanded. "I can't." said Ophelia, "I've already looked at you, I only got you in my head." Laran was annoyed, "Don't make excuses, I just don't get why you're so selfish and how you can go on and be like you are." He said. Ophelia turned to meet his gaze and she then said something, "Did you think I can't feel? Huh? You know why I did it? Your father was a jerk, he was a jerk just like my dad was!" Laran gaped at her in shock, Ophelia continued. "Where were you when he spanked me and yelled at me whenever I get trouble at school? Where were you when I was bullied and betrayed in middle school by horrible people you thought they were friends because they were nice and could see how much of a freak you were?! Where were you when my father called me a 'Fat Ass' when I was overweight and eating so fast because of a stupid meds made me that way? Where were you when I had to cover my ears during a movie in class? Where were you when my mother was depressed? You think you know me? YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME!!!!" ranted Ophelia with such emotion. She weep a little but felt a comforting hand on her shoulder, she could hear Laran saying to her: "Well....Here you are, all of this gives you a good sense of how it feels to be alive. Even though you didn't change so much as the way you wanted, You wanted to died as a minor but afterwards you suddenly realize you're alive."

Ophelia looked up and smiles at him. Thinking about this; Laran smiles at how she looked cute when she was happy, but then his cell rings, "Hello?" He said. He listened, a look of confusion crossed his face. "Who is this?" asked Laran crossly. Then he listened and a sneer appeared, "Oh hey. It's you, you got something for me?" Later, Ophelia is seen writing in her journal for her writing. She is busy writing that she doesn't realize who is sneaking behind her. Just then, she can hear someone say in her ear: "Hey there, Peti-phelia." Ophelia jumped, yelling. She turns around and glares at a snickering Laran, "Why the hell do you do that? I hate when you jump scare me, boy!" scolded Ophelia. Laran snickered darkly, "I bet you couldn't scare me." He said. Ophelia glares at him, "Boy I can scare you. I can think of every single thing. I can beat you any game, any time, anywhere!" She said. Laran smirked as she took the bait. "Well in that case...Here, let's hold a race." said Laran. "A race?" Ophelia asked, feeling a deja-vu. "Yup, whoever defeats the Wendigos will win this competition. Starting...now!" Laran pressed a button on a pen-like device and a puff of smoke out comes! He is gone after the smoke clears up. "Damn, he's so cool." She thought. Ophelia went after him as they try to track down the place he is at. But ran into Wendigos and fights them. "Geez, all too familiar yes?" She thought. Then she found a mellow themed place and thought about what to do: "Things are about to get nuts, so it’s time to break out the guns and grab some hostages. Throw down and explode, but if all fails; they were going to blow this place into ashes." She sneaks inside as they look around this mellow party. Ophelia shoots above as the lights burst into sparks.

Everyone screamed, but then Ophelia calls out: "Listen up, everybody! I'm taking charge, because I am willing to take extreme measures to make sure my demands are met! Stick with me, without hesitation or question; I'm about to kick some ass and taking names. In other words, I'm going all in. So, let me see them hands.” Just then, Wendigos appeared and Ophelia kept firing away and away. She got away as she ran into the rain but got inside a warehouse. This is where she hid until now, she was safe. However she looked around to see she was in a room that wasn't a warehouse, it looked like a manor. "Wait, is this--?"Ophelia started to say but a voice from above startles her. "Hey Freak Girl, welcome, cool ain't it?" It was Laran, standing above near a balcony while looking down on Ophelia. "How the hell you got in here?!" Ophelia demanded. Laran shrugged casually. "What can I say, I'm that good. I am the trickster." He bragged. "Deja-vu! DEJA--FRICKING VU!!!!!" thought Ophelia. She sighed, and walks away as she said: "I'm done. I'm done." But pull out her gun and fires at it him however Laran easily dodged it. "Aww, what's wrong?" taunted Ophelia, "Thought you were a big boy." She kept firing as Laran dodged them still! "Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Ophelia hollered. "Damn, I knew there was something interesting about her. She's more impressive than I thought." Laran muttered to himself, pleased by all this.

"You can run, but you can't hide!" Ophelia called out. They thought she got him but it was only his shirt. "What the hell--?" Ophelia demanded in shock. She turned and her eyes widened, pointing to what's coming. "You--!" "Gotcha!" said Laran, enthusiastically while lunging at Ophelia. She found herself face to face with Laran, who turns out to be wearing a tank shirt with sinewy arms. "Wow, nice. Very bound." thought Ophelia. But then she flushed when she realized this as she struggled to get away. "Hey, get off me, will ya?" Ophelia said. Laran didn't answered as he looked at her for one moment and kissed her right on the lips. Ophelia was shocked but then he pushed him away. But it turns out Laran won, courtesy of Roland. And Ophelia is dared to take a challenge: Drop ice in a bucket full of water and she does this herself. Proceeding with this challenge, Ophelia drops it on her head as she screams at how cold it is. Then she playfully splashed water and ice at Roland, Ace, Janus, and Laran as they all did the same with one another happily.
