West Journey Tempest: Volume 3--Chapter 1

Hello everybody! FINALLY! I got a new chapter. This is the third volume, the first chapter of it, and I know the other chapter of volume 2 only had three views but I don't mind. I know it was pretty bad but I can improve better. When something goes bad and it gets bad, always make a good comeback out of the disaster. Here I have a better chapter where Monica and some allies are to team up together but then things worked out after some changes in Nathan and the Phoenix Gang. Karina, for the time being, struggles with the fact that her father is getting a free ride and is possibly winning. But then, she is unaware that a powerful young lady of politics is standing tall. And Nana is having some strange dreams of hers and she tries to interpreted them however the results made her question if she was missing something in her life. Chapter 1: Finding What's Lost

On the news; Reports are made about how a humiliated Atlas was exposed as everyone egged him and shouted out jeers at him. Atlas and Madame Evelyn's careers were both ruined for the monstrosity that they caused! But there was a bright new future ahead when there was a woman very middle aged. Her name was Natalie Everett. Natalie Everett is a politican woman who is strong hearted and she was an honest young lady. Growing up, Natalie’s mom taught her an essential lesson: "What you are is the Lord’s gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to the Lord." True to her mother's words; Natalie started out as a secretary for a small real estate business. She typed, filed paperwork and answered the phone. Eventually she would become a leader in technology, business and charity. In just fifteen years ago; Natalie went from an entry-level employee to leading of different operations. An organization recognized the tremendous challenges facing their company and asked Everett to be their new chief executive. As premier of the business, she was the first woman to lead a business. Since leaving her previous job, Natalie has focused on giving back. She has served in a large number of advisory and policy-making positions for national and state governments. She has also led a number of charities and nonprofits, serving as the chairman of the union foundation, which annually hosts the world's largest product philanthropy organization; and the chairman of a pious faith-based organization that helps lift millions out of poverty worldwide. She is a strong woman where Atlas found himself in hot water after a magazine published a recent interview in which he commented on Everett's physical appearance: "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!" It wasn't until Natalie Everett responded to Atlas's disparaging remark about her appearance during Wednesday night's debate, making clear she found them insulting not only to her but to women everywhere. "I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Atlas said," Everett said, drawing loud applause from the audience. "I think she's got a beautiful face and I think she's a beautiful woman," Atlas replied. Everett did not smile. For the time being; Aubrey was high up from low ground near a cliff, he heard a cry of an animal and went to see but what he saw horrified him. A poor animal of what appears to be a kitten had hard pebbles thrown at by three big boys who only laughed at the poor, chained kitten's misery! That made Aubrey very angry, he called out: "HEY!!!!" The three kids turned, Aubrey steps forward as his anger seethed. "Leave that kitten alone, you jerks!" He called out. But the bullies took no heed so Aubrey took out a gun and fired near them. The bullies stopped torturing the kitten and they were frightened by the sight of the boy holding a gun as he meant business. "Let me repeat myself, I said...Leave the poor kitten alone or I'm putting a bullet in you, get away right now!" He commanded. The bullies were so scared, they ran for their lives like heck. Aubrey freed the kitten but the poor thing succumbed to its wounds and died from all the bruises and bloody scars the bullies did to the kitten. Tears streamed down Aubrey's face. He then cremated the kitten's body and buries the ashes with a made up tombstone that reads: "Here lies a kitten, died after a merciless torment by a bunch of thugs." The kitten's death weighd on Aubrey so much that in his emotional state, he stumbed upon the edge of the cliff and he saw it was a long way down. Aubrey didn't care, he couldn't save the kitten in time. If only he'd been there soon, then maybe those bastards wouldn't tortured it to death. But it didn't matter to him anymore, he leaped from the cliff when something grabbed him and suspended Aubrey in the air. He was pulled back to the cliff. It happened to fast however he saw who it was: A young man with a fair complexion and black hair. Aubrey couldn't believe it, "How did he..." He started to ask but he looked and saw that he was gone. He was frustrated, "Why did he save me? I don't get it!!!" Aubrey thought. But he had to know why would that guy save his life. He must know. He had to, it was the only way. Up on a rooftop; Aubrey was pinning a man to a wall in a way of some rough interrogation: "Listen, there's a guy, young around in his early 20's and he has skin white as snow. Hair black as night. What's his name and where can I find him?" demanded Aubrey. The man looked unsettled by this troubled boy, "I don't know....Uh, aren't you a little young to interrogate guys like me?" He asked. "Could I be young enough to do this?" Aubrey snapped. He pushed him near the edge of the rooftio. The man was terrified, begging for mercy. "Well?" said Aubrey with impatience in his voice. "OK, OK!" The man protested, "His name is Andel and he's part of the Phoenix Gang. He also works at the Moonlight Theatre." Aubrey didn't think it was enough, he needed to know more information: "Where can I find him?" He inquired. "Rumor has it that the Phoenix Gang is in the West where the great yet powerful Maugris resides. That's it! That's all I know!" The man admitted. Aubrey nods, "Thanks." He said and went away. He then jumped from rooftop to rooftop as he been searching all morning! He will not rest until he'd find Andel. Finally, he managed to sneak in as he heard Nathan and the others were having a meeting. It ended with Enya saying, "All right! That settles it." But Aubrey cried out, "Nobody's going anywhere!!!!" Enya and her crew looked up as they saw him. "STOP RIGHT THERE, ANDEL!!!!" shouted Aubrey. Enya, Nathan, and the others looked up in shock. There was Aubrey against the walls above as his eyes looked fierce and intense. "What the hell? How did he get in here?" demanded Enya. "Everyone--Scattered!" Nathan instructed. People move in different opposite directions while Aubrey was on Andel's tail as he shouted, "Can't escape me coward!" He chased Andel, who called out: "Please! Who are you? What do you want with me?" But Andel pounced him and cornered him with a gun in hand. Andel managed to recognize him as the boy from before. "So it's you." Andel said, "You're the boy who wanted to jump." Aubrey held a gun to him, "Yeah, me! I wanted to know...Why? Why did you save me? You could've let me die back there!" He demanded. "But I didn't. You should be thankful. If I wasn't there, you would probably hit the ground and it would be too late." Andel assured him. Aubrey pointed his gun at him, "You didn't answer my question, why didn't you let me jump?" He said. Andel looked at him in the eye, "You were trying to save and help that dying kitten and you were upset when it succumb. That kitten died from cruel savages like those guys. I saw the whole thing and it wasn't your fault." He said. Andel had a pained look on his face, "If only I'd been there to save in time...Torturing a kitten is almost like tormenting an innocent person to death. No mercy...It's so inhuman. So sick in the head. Makes me want to puke so bad.....I hated it so much....Hurts so badly...." He lowered his gun. Tears, again, streaming down his eyes as he points to his chest. "....Right here in my beating heart...." He muttered. Andel looked at him with shock, "That's why you....Oh, I get it....I know now. And I want to tell you something that you should remember. Let that dead kitten help you remind you of your purpose on protecting people. Even if you were too late, you can still save lives. Protecting the people that care about you is the most important thing. Never forget that." As he said this, he put a hand on his shoulder. Aubrey looked at him, "You're right. I may not be a perfect person but I am special...I'm only human too." He said with a nod. It all worked out in the end, where Aubrey was on his way. It seemed OK, for now until something even more strange happened to them.

SNAP. CLICK. SNAP. CLICK. Above where Enya and the others didn't see; a teen boy was taking pictures of them with a polaroid camera. The boy has brown spikey hair, a short sleeved white shirt and black sweater vest with jeans. His life was changing when he came across these people. At home, he had the photos are lined up together for his album of all the pictures he took. Most of them had of Nathan, the boy looked at Nathan with admiration. "Who are you, cool guy?" thought the boy. That's when the next day, the boy had his camera when he followed Enya and the others, ready to take th picture but froze when he noticed Enya and Andel looked in his direction. The boy puts his camera away as he slowly backs away but he bumped into a figure. He turned around and saw a duo of strangers, "Well hello there. How are you?" One of them greeted brightly. The boy smiled nervously, "Peachy. Love to say and chat but....Got to go!" He said. He ran from the rooftop of the building, he hurried away. Just then, Nathan and Andel are contacted with an assignment. Earlier after the day when Monica got fired; she received a letter from Malcom: "Dear Monica, I don't think I'll be able to be where you are. I'm going on a journey to find some recruits and make a difference. I can't allow you to come with me but if our paths cross again, maybe we could make something however I'm traveling however I cannot allow you to come with me. All this time, I wonder who will be the substitute for me to accompany you and share your burdens when I leave you. If something should happen, it’ll affect all of us. In this dangerous situation, can you make it without me? I would protect if I am no longer able to be with you. I can’t be with you because we are separated, but I want to help you and go through all this together. I'd be running away with my heart, hope, and love and never coming back to you. I love you so much that it has become a part of my life. With you gone, I learnt that I need to learn to move on but I will stay with you forever. If I could follow you, I would go wherever you will go despite of all the hardships. But for some reason, it cannot be, because I cannot follow you. If I can rewrite our story on how we met, I would, so that I can follow whoever you go and protect you from harm. If we’d stayed together, I would follow wherever you would go. Sincerely, Malcom." That's what made her change her mind and she wonders about what she really wants. Should she go along with it? After class, she couldn't get his mind off the whole idea of an adventure but then she has a sudden revelation and left. She packed his things and set off on an adventure. Before she could, she sent an email to whom may it concern: "Hi, I know this is going to sound stupid but what the hell! I don't care, I feel like adventure is calling me and if you want to come with me, be my guest. But if you don't, it's fine. I'm going to follow where my heart wants me. You guys must be thinking: 'He's crazy.' Oh, I am. I quit the university. I took some time to think about it and then I realized, is this what I want? I thought it over and over when I realized that this isn't what I want. And so that's why I did it. You're probably thinking I'm weird, or pretty dumb for making this choice. But I couldn't care less. I feel like I know what I want and it's out there. If you care to find me, follow me. I'd be happy to let you guys come with me. If not, fine then. Wish me luck, see you! --Monica." She sent it and she was on her way. When his friends received his email; they knew this would happened. Conner grinned, "Sneaky girl, you really think you'd leave us for just this one girl. Get real." He said. And he too was on his way. Alphege shook his head, "Like hell, I made a promise to Erica." He remarked. He got his stuff pack and headed out. Nathan was shocked, "She's crazy..." He said but then he laughed a bit, "Anything at all for the one you love huh." Soon, he was heading out. Lastly; Andel looked at it blankly before he smiled, "Somebody's inspired." He said. And he packed his things. Soon, Conner sent a message to Monica on his phone. he checked his phone and there was a message for him. He looked at it and it said: "Hey Monica, I'm coming. You really think you're just going by yourself? --Conner." Monica smiled, "I knew it." She thought. She knew her friends wouldn't allow her to go alone but he wasn't alone. He has some allies of his own. On the news, it showed the terror of Madame Evelyn and the heroic effort of Lorelai that was everywhere: "THERE THEY ARE!!! ARREST THEM!!!!" Madame Evelyn cried, pointing to Una and the others. The guards apprehended them. "Get away from me!" Una cried. "Unhand me!" Fiachra shouted. "Keep your hands off me! Let go! Ow!" Aiden exclaimed. However, they were told if they move; then they will die. Adele was there with her group and in the city as they were unsure what to do. Just when all hope was lost; everyone heard a voice above. "LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!" Everyone looked up and there was Lorelai standing above, levitating as she glared down at Madame Evelyn and her men as she continued to exclaim, "They had nothing to do with it! I'M the one you want! TAKE ME INSTEAD!!!!" Lorelai bellowed. She could hear them all calling her from below. Una called out to her, "Lorelai?!" and everybody else each shouted her name, "Lorelai....LORELAI!!" Outstretching her arms out and Lorelai shouted passionately yet strong, "TAKE ME!!!!" She levitated up with a force of power through her and then she said, "When you think you are ready for me, come and get me if you can. Right? Am I right or what?" She laughed and gestured over to Adele and the others as she said while smiling at Adele: "As I recalled what someone told me once, 'You can be the best as long as you try and use your abilities to the fullest and believe in yourself.'" Hearing that, Adele begins to smile at her while Adele continued to rant, "And if others decide to stay behind and I'm on my own. In return for my choice, I get the freedom I value most. To those who can’t accept me, tell them what I chose and what I achieved. Tell them what I done that they thought was impossible for me." She danced around happily. "I will find success and rise above, higher than the skyline of a city! Someone can't take my passion away, that's how I am. Overall I am a stronger, better person! I now have the ability to think and defend myself, and is not somebody to be messed with anymore!" She felt the emotions in her and she shouted, "You can do as you please to me. I don’t care. Your attempts to define me will never succeed. You can’t say anything about me since you can’t prove anything, and you need to back away from me. You really don’t. You're not going to do or become something that you expect of me. Since I'm not what other people think of me, I'm not going to give you what you think you're going to be getting!" From afar; Phoebe cried out: "I just wanna see you be brave, Lorelai! You can do it!" Madame Evelyn was furious and turned to her soldiers, "Don't just stand there, you fools! Kill her!" She ordered them. Pumping her legs, she then flew and she shouted, "You can't stop me now!" Flying, she flew and wasn't going to stop her! "GET HER! GET HER! GET HER!!!!!" Madame Evelyn cried out. They fired a cannonball as it explodes into smoke, "NOOOOOO!!!" Everyone screamed. "LORELAI!!!!" Una shouted. All seemed lost....NOT! Just then, Lorelai flew out of the smoke unharmed. "HAHA, I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!! HEAR ME ROAR!!!!" She exclaimed. Everyone cheered at Lorelai, she was stronger and happier than she was before. Now, Lorelai's daring deed caused a curious notion for everyone so Monica, Conner, and Alphege are sent out on the quest but they encountered Nathan and Andel. It looks like they were going on the same path but there was a lot of tension. Monica decided to loosen them up for the past as she teased them in a light hearted manner. And ran up the hill, "I'm Queen of the Hill and you guys are a bunch of---!" Monica taunted playfully but lets out a yelp when the guys try to pounce her on the hill; knocking her off. "DOGPILE!!!!" They all cried out. Conner hugged the top of the hill, "HEH, HEH, HEH, HEH! It's mine, all mine! Mine, mine, mine!" He said. But was pulled down by Alphege, who said: "Oh no you don't! It belongs to me!" But was kicked to the curb by Nathan. Nathan smirked with a glance of a little bit of teasing: "Ha, get in line! I outshine the rest of you!" But then, he was pushed down by Andel. "Like hell!" Andel said. Nathan let out a yelp as he fell off, "'Ey!" Andel reached to the top as he said, "You all will prevail, for I am the best!" However Conner tackles him as he cried out: "Come 'ere you, bastard!" Monica watched the four of them arguing amongst themselves over something so silly, but then she decided to come with an idea. She ducked down while the boys argued and reappeared wearing a made up crown out of garland. "ALL HAIL, QUEEN MONICA!!!!" Monica exclaimed. She smiled, "I am honored to be queen!" She announced. Conner and Nathan "WHAT?!" They both cried out at the same time. "I like that idea." Alphege said. Andel nodded while saying, "So do I." Conner and Nathan glanced at the other two, "WHO SIDE ARE YOU ON?!" They both ask. However, Monica added something else, "And to make things easier, I have also wish to make my other fellow allies with royal titles too!" She said. Conner and Nathan looked happier, "Really?! You mean it?" They both said. Again. Monica nodded, "Mmm-hmm!" She nominated Conner as the king, Alphege as the duke, Nathan as an earl, and Andel as the viceroy. They were interrupted by a bellow that went, "HELLO OUT THERE!!!" Monica and the others could see a trio. One was a boy with dark brown hair, a white T-shirt, a red buttoned shirt, and short denim jeans. A second boy with tan-like dark skin complexion who wore an attire of black from head to toe. And a girl with blonde hair that reached towards her neck. They seem to be eccentric for three teenagers! "Justice prevail, for we are the Lost Trio, baby!" Evan exclaimed. "Yeah!" Mitch cheered. "Bow before the mighty three!" Wanda hollered, she accidentally fired her gun and it almost hit Evan, who jumped back. He gave Wanda a look, "YOU DODO, YOU TRY TO KILL ME WOMAN?!" He bellowed. Now Wanda was annoyed, "OK, first of all; sorry! And second, do not call me an extinct bird! I am not that! I am also not an idiot all right buddy?" She snipped. Evan held out his hands, "All right, fine. I take it back." He apologized. "Thank you." replied Wanda. Monica glanced at Conner and whispered, "Geez, tough crowd aren't they?" Just then; Evan, Mitch, and Wanda asked them if they have seen Monica or any of the heroes from the West. "Nope! Never heard of them!" Monica lied. "Awww!" Wanda, Mitch, and Evan said in unison. Monica and the guys walked away with smirks on their faces. "Wow, what a bunch of dodos!" Monica whispered. "Yeah, maybe they have some sort of pea sized brain." Conner joked. They were walking when guns fired around them. Monica, Conner, Alphege, Nathan, and Andel ducked as they were shaken. But they didn't know who it was. "Hold it right there, you hooligans!" cried Evan. Monica, Conner, Alphege, Nathan, and Andel turned around as they are trembling in fear as three teenagers were holding guns at them. But these weren't any normal teens, these kids are fast as they are something different. "Yeah, are you calling us 'dodos'?!" Mitch echoed. "Don't you even dare!" Wanda piped up, "OK, Mon-ica! Gather up those boys of yours! We're taking you to see our boss!" Monica made a face, "Sorry, we can't!" She said. Then she called out: "RUN!!!!!" And they did. Wanda and her friends noticed, "HEY, COME BACK HERE!!!" Wanda exclaimed. Monica and her allies keep running where they hear a helicopter. They look up and saw that there was Hermia, "Monica, what a surprise! Looks like I have a good million dollar bounty on your heads for you and your friends." Hermia said from the helicopter. Monica sighed, "Oh boy, do we have to do more running?" She asked. Hermia then said in her communication speakers, "Attention all units! We have a new band of targets. One of them is the one and only--Monica." Monica sighed, "This is not what I had in mind." She moaned. But Alphege saves them by making a proposition, he understands what's going on and they mean no harm but they want to talk to Lorelai. But Alphege decided to talk to her alone. As he was walking down the hall, he approached the door which is Lorelai's room as he peeks in and saw the love of his life was wearing comfy pajama pants that covered her knees as it didn't cover her legs all the way. She wore a baggy T-shirt and was brushing her hair. She looked beautiful but she was reaching the door as she sense someone was there but saw Alphege and was relieved. "Oh, hi. I'm sorry, I didn't know who it was." Lorelai said. Alphege was lost for words, "Yes, I must apologize for all of this." He finally said. Lorelai gave him a smile, "It's fine, who are you?" She asked. "I'm...Alphege. A Vanara." Alphege said. Lorelai looked at him closely, "You remind of someone....Who are you?" She asked. Alphege knew he couldn't hide it anymore, "Hello Lorelai, it's me--Prince Asmund." He said. Lorelai put a hand over her mouth, her gasp caught in her throat before running over and throwing her arms around him: "Asmund! I thought you'd never get here. I thought you were dead, I thought my spell didn't..." She started to say as she looked at him. Alphege smiled, "Oh, it did. You saved me Lorelai." The Prince said. Lorelai grimaced, "I heard your skin ripped...Did it hurt?" She inquired. "Not too bad, it healed quite fast but the pain, it's not something you can forget." Alphege explained. Lorelai reached over and touched his hairless face, Alphege didn't mind. "Go ahead, touch, I don't mind. You did the best you could." He said. "You're still beautiful." Lorelai said with a watery smile. Alphege looked rather shameful, "You don't have to lie to me." He said. "No...It's not lying...its looking at things another way." Lorelai said truthfully. The couple embraced each other. They were finally together again, it had been like they were before.

In the interval; Monica told the trio about their pretend game of being part of royalty. She explained that her friends and her had royal titles. "Hey, are we peasants?" Wanda whined. "You? Peasants? No, you guys are noblemen." Nathan claimed. Evan smiled, "Really?" Nathan nodded, "Yup." He replied. "Woo! Nobleman!" Mitch whooped. "Nice!" agreed Evan. "That's quite the title." Wanda said. However; Evan, Mitch, and Wanda were called in to do some training however they promised it won't be long. While alone with one another, Conner asked Nathan and Andel about what made them changed their mind. So the two of them told the story: The Phoenix Gang were on the run from the guards! It turns out that Nathan and Andel are being hunted down because of something they didn't do. It seems that somebody has framed them, framed for something they didn’t do. Injustice has sight but justice is blind. Now they were going to find out who is responsible! While on the journey, the guards chased Nathan and his gang as it looked like they were going to be arrested until the guards were taken out. Nathan, Andel, and the others were shocked. Phoebe was the first to speak, "Who are you?" She asked. Boy, she would regret asking that! "I'M GLAD YOU ASK THAT, MY GOOD LAD! WE ARE THE DEFINITION FUN!!!" exclaimed the guy with the glasses. The other one with the weird persona also shouted: "THE LADS OF LUNACY!!!" And the third bellowed, "THE GENTS OF GOOF!!!!" Finally; the fourth screamed, "AND THE FANGS OF A FOWL!!!!" Together the four of them announced in unison: "WE ARE.....EL GALLO!!!!" The glasses guy said, "I AM RAGNAR!!!" The shaved head guy cried out, "I AM PIRAN!!!!" The weirdo shouts, "I AM VAVRINEC!!!!" The fourth member guy also exclaimed, "AND I AM SHURA!!!!!" They had some so-called badass yet strange poses to look like a legion of heroes. Nathan and the others of Phoenix Gang were awkward by this sight, "Oh....Kayyy?" Ragnar dropped his pose, "Oh come on." He said. "Could you actually try to look impress." Andel was annoyed, "We don't have time for these ridiculous antics, OK? We have some serious business to conduct." He remarked. Piran looked back in utter shock as he blocked their paths of tetchiness glances. "What? We don't even get a thank you? Seriously? What the hell is wrong with you guys?" He demanded. "Fine! Thank you, now leave us be." replied Latona. They were about to leave when Shura was shocked, "You guys are really depressing. What the hell?" He said. "Look if I don't find the creeps responsible for framing me and Andel....As leader of Phoenix, I'm gonna have to step down from the group and turn myself in." explained Nathan. The El Gallo Gang stared at him before Ragnar spoke out, "Hold it! You're trying to tell me you're the leader of the Phoenix Gang?" Nathan smirked, "Yeah! You got--" He was about to say but stopped after listening to El Gallo laughing their heads off as they made fun of him and his gang. "Phoenix is run by some blonde haired hotshot, you must've killed your way to become leader buddy." Ragnar said with a hysterical laugh. "More like a thousand slewed to get to the mountain top." guffawed Vavrinec. "A red soaked, fiery hill maybe. Made for the ashes of Phoenix." mocked Shura. Nathan wasn't too happy to hear that as he claimed loudly, "I'm telling you that I am!" Ragnar and the others walked off, still laughing however Piran called out: "Try harder than that. We'll let you know if we really need you." They still laugh as they wandered away. Nathan was pissed to hear this so they others went away to decide for themselves on where to start. Just then, they heard a commotion as they went to see what was going on. The next thing they saw El Gallo Gang were turned upside down and hanged from their ankles by a rope as they were about to be taken in by the guards however Nathan and the others saved them from the guards. Once that ordeal was over, they confronted them. "So, they're chasing you down huh. What did you do? Trying to piss someone off?" asked Nathan. Vavrinec smiled nervously, "Nope, not really. Listen, we came back to apologize...For making fun of you." He said. "Yeah, we'll help you guys out." echoed Piran. Nathan thought about it for a moment, but he had something in his eye. "Hmm......I don't know, it's going to be a difficult road ahead. Are you up for it?" He said. Vavrinec glanced at his friends as Shura answered, "Well....Could you help us with that? I mean, we could really use it. You help us, we'll help us. How does it sound to you?" Nathan snorted at that and echoed what they said before at them in irony, "Guess you boys need to try harder than that. I would be honored to let you know if we really need you losers. I mean, Phoenix is run by some blonde haired hotshot such as myself, I must've killed my way to become leader. A thousand slewed to get to the mountain top. A red soaked, fiery hill made for the ashes of Phoenix. For your information, if you cared at all, I did literally killed my way to the top!" He snapped. Ragnar and his boys of El Gallo were nervous, they felt bad for this. Then, Vavrinec finally admitted: "Fine! We're sorry but....We didn't mean it, OK? Please help us, or you can leave us high to dry. That would be pretty cruel, and we would know who is responsible for all of this." Nathan glared at him, eyes narrowing. "You know who it is? Take us to the destination, got it?" He instructed. He managed to get El Gallo Gang down from being hanged upside down. But during that time, the El Gallo Gang were different from any person that Nathan and his gang ever encountered. They are a very foolish group of guys, but are nonetheless competent. They will all take the piss out of one another but at the end of the day they're good friends! Ragnar Bruno is the leader of El Gallo, a super-energetic ace who's also a great guy and pretty much of a dork. The nutty, hyperactive, and daydreamer Vavrinec Marcus. He exclaims things that sound like angered gibberish! He hates how people make jokes about animal cruelty. He may have his trollish tendencies, but he seems quite shy and friendly. Though he some stuff he says really makes no sense at all! Piran Ladon tends to rush right into melee with more focus on beating his opponents down than his own survival. He's the brawn kind of guy while also he doesn't have a lot of wisdom most of the time but he's pretty smart sometimes. And Shura Gentry is just the snarky and is a nobody. Somehow these guys are gently wormed their way through the cold hearts of the Phoenix Gang and somehow a burning feeling of warmth, even Nathan finds them nice and funny people. Andel also decides to take another look among what Phoenix stands for and thought about the terrible things that everyone in Phoenix does. This was a culture shock to him as he saw how Monica and the others were more like a team, he didn't know why Phoenix wasn't like that. There was a mixture of blood pudding, haggis and boiled kidneys which looked very gross. Enya devoured it in gulps while biting and chewing, she managed to finish it as it will satisfy her for a while. But she couldn't shake the adrenaline feeling she felt when she was around Phoenix, she could feel her heart pumping--her nerves are wracking--her whole body covered in goosebumps! She had to see him again, something about him made her blood boil! However, her paths would cross with them when she came across her stalker Giovanni. "Howdy Enya." He greets her. Enya backed away from him, "What are you doing here Giovanni?" She asked. Giovanni lent out his hand, "Hop into the backseat babydoll, I'll show you some fun." He said. Enya laughed nervously, "Sorry Gio, I'm not that kind of girl." She said. That's when, Giovanni came up to her and put his hands on the side of her face, "You're my soul mate. I swear I just fell in love with you. You're different from the rest. I knew you were special from the moment I saw you. It's in your eyes. It's written on your faces. I wanna make you happy." He said. Enya pushed him away, "I'm sorry, I'm not interested." She said, she pushed him gently however Giovanni was persistant and Enya got upset as she shouted, "Can you just PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE?!" Then, Giovanni violently assaulted her and he leaned in close as he got her trapped and Enya looked scared. "Let me tell you something, sweetheart...There ain't no man in his right mind that leaves a pretty little thing like you out here all alone." Just then, Nathan saves Enya from Giovanni but Enya ran from the scene but only Andel followed. While trying to catch her breath at a safe distance; Enya saw Andel coming towards her, asking if she was OK. But Andel noticed her attitude, "What's wrong? Did I do something to upset you?" He asked. Enya glanced at him, "Why are being nice to me?" She demanded. Andel realized what he did, "Because, you need someone." He explained. Enya didn't believe him, "Uh huh." She said. "I'm just here if you need me, I will never abandoned you." Andel remarked. Enya looked at him with disbelief, "You? You're pulling me leg." She snapped. "I'm not, but you seemed interested. Very different." Andel spoke. "Liar." Enya muttered. "Why would I lie?" asked Andel. Enya glared at him, "People I know do, I can't trust people." She said. Andel was perplexed, "You can't trust people?" He said. Enya sighed and she walked away but she was stopped by Andel. "Wait, I've always thought you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." said Andel. Enya blushes but she didn't turn around, "Really?" She asked. "Since the first time I met you." Andel said. "That's nice, that really makes me feel good. Someone like you could really make it alright for me." Enya replied. "You think?" inquired Andel. "Yeah." answered Enya. She smiled, but it's not an genuine grin. So she decides to go with him. But she noticed something was different with Nathan, he seemed a bit lighter than dark and happier. She couldn't believe it, but this was different than Nathan was before. Nathan noticed that he was not being able to loosen up and enjoy life out in the open like all the other people! He was all by himself that gave him a new perspective about life. Nathan found the key to happiness and that changed the way he viewed the world. He learns that he has always been cynical about life, never got to seize a day or moment to discover how much life can be so beautiful. He recalled all the things he and his gang has ever done, even the others in his group felt guilty while thinking about it. After all the crap they've been through, somehow has taken to where they are right now! Nathan wants to be better in general, because he thinks he’s not good enough. He wants to be more creative and a better person overall. Ultimately, he wants to create something that is better than ever before. He wants the freedom to do whatever he wants, but he can’t always be completely free in everything he wants to do. Even within his passion, constraints exist. Nowadays he’s insecure and is worrying about what others think about himself, unlike what people had told it him it would be like. He didn’t outgrow his fears, his fears grew up with him. Nathan wishes he could return to a time when there was no stress or worries; back when he was young enough that his mother used to sing to him, because nowadays he’s stressed out. Andel has been hurt and betrayed so much that his heart is small and hard to get through to. He’s sick of never being able to trust because he never got over past traumas. As dramatic as it sounds, Signar doesn’t want to end things on a bad note. He doesn’t want to fight or make excuses because he just wants to hold his hands up and accept what he’s done, he regrets hearing the truth, he much rather believed the lies he was told. He wishes that the bad doings will be erased by mercy. Andel has done terrible things, but realizes this and wants to make up for it! The same thing with Gryphon and Darwin. Latona wishes that she knew what was going to happen so she wouldn’t waste her time and energy on a relationship that she knew was going to end. If she had known that things would end up so bad she wouldn’t have committed to the relationship and she has compared committing to the darkness of being bad. When she was like this and had a sweet and wonderful time with him but now she has fallen back to ground to be a good person. And Phoebe felt bad for not standing up against her gang to prove them wrong but she never did! She was afraid of being tossed aside. In the mirror, she could see fear, but it’s actually fear hiding behind her personal being. And then she notice that that fear is just herself, just her face in the mirror, of which fear is created a hollowed out space inside her heart. Depression strikes her down and she falls, especially her self esteem. Some people are able to call for help in a time of a sad state.. and they make a sound to a friend or to anybody that listens to help them. As lost as their voices may sound to a friend, sometimes they are guided back towards depression and feel so close to it and so comfortable. Ever since, El Gallo came into their lives--Things have changed for them. But Phoenix wasn't the only one with such darkness. Despite their light hearted insanity and the fun times they have; El Gallo had tragic lives: From early in his life, Ragnar was involved in the organization's protests against unfair and discriminatory treatment. He fought alongside other members of the organization and was clearly trained to become a proficient member of the resistance fighter. Piran born alongside his siblings. However, due to his father suffered of mistreatment to him as he childhood upbringing was difficult. As a child, he always greeted her stress-ridden, aggravated father after the workday, which produced a very uneasy family lifestyle when Piran was a kid. Vavrinec has a loving relationship with his father as he loved to listen to stories he told until there was a horrible accident. Shura and Vavrienc were attacked and almost killed by manannggals as his uncle thankfully appeared just in time to save the two boys. Shura was ashamed of his stubborn, and brash actions. He had almost gotten his best friend killed, and resolved to continue searching for the person who killed Vavrienc's father while also making it up to his friend. Once then as they continue on the journey, Enya and the others encounter manannggals, who were attacking a pretty girl. She was slender, has ivory skin with pink blush on her cheeks. Her hair was shoulder length wavy dark brown hair. Her breasts' size is about 75 centimeters. She wore a long sleeved pink sweater, with black leggings and matching colored high heeled boots. The pretty girl was amazed to see this. "Wow, they just took down those beasts with light and dark....Who are these guys?" She thought. However, she was spellbound as she got to meet Enya and the others. The pretty girl's name is Helena Cyndal! Helena decided to follow them on their wanderlust. Finally after traveling for awhile, they managed to find the people responsible in some sort of deserted area! But when they saw who it was, Nathan and the others of Phoenix--even Enya was surprised--were shocked to see who it was. "You...You look just like..." Nathan breathed with a gasp caught in his throat. Standing before him, it was his look-alike! He was a slim, yet muscular and toned young man of average height, with light tanned skin, and blond hair, which is kept in scraggy strands jutting in all directions. His hair reaches down to his neck and covers most of his forehead. "...You, Nathan Cobbins." The doppleganger said. Nathan and the rest of Phoenix were surprised. Nathan stood his ground as he demanded, "Who are you?" The young man replied, "I am Loyden--Sweeney Loyden!" And then, Andel was surprised to meet his own look alike by the name of Mogue Neil. He looked just like Andel! But different. His eyes are blood red, with an angular and slightly slanted shape, giving him a very sinister look as well as spikey hair with white outlining. The reason that Sweeney and Mogue framed Nathan and Andel was because Nathan and his gang did not have true potential as they got defeated by Monica and the others. Vavrienc called out: "These guys do got potential, you got nothing on them so you should back off from whatever you're coming with you mess-up assholes!" Sweeney turned to him and smirked. "Oh, Vavrienc...Your dad was a fool. Sacrificed himself while protecting his sonny boy." taunted Sweeney. Vavrienc looked at him shock, his goofy persona faded into a softened face expression. "What?" He gasped. "You mean....You--?!" He thought about that day he witnessed it. The hurt he was feeling was making his heart burst with grief. Now Vavrienc was angry, he charged at him as he shouted: "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!" But Mogue knocks him to his knees. Angry by what he saw; Nathan was prepared to fight Sweeney, but he just walked passed Nathan and appeared before Helena. "It's you." He only said and then he seized her jaw, pulled her in and kissed her right on the lips. Everyone was shocked at this sight, Nathan couldn't believe what he was seeing. Helena was lost for a moment before she pushed him away in shock while she admits as she blushed: "I....I never been kissed before by anyone, that was....that was my first....my first kiss...!" She covered her mouth to muffle her sobs. Sweeney looked at her, "Your first kiss huh? Well, I didn't want you to miss it. I mean, anyone could have missed but I guess, it's so significance and something unexpected. I guess that makes you a kissed chaste maiden. So innocent and kissed." He taunted with a laugh. Then, he approached Helena and said, "Helena, come with me... think of what we could do... together." Helena was startled to hear this, "What?" She gasped. Sweeney walked towards her, "We'll be unlimited, you and I the greatest of all the world. Dreams the way we planned them. And I....I just had a vision almost like a prophecy. I know, it sounds crazy and the future is quite unclear however I vow that someday that if we can become in tandem, there's no argument that none of us can win. It's you and I up in the sky flying above this world." He said. "It's full of hapless, pitiful souls in the world who are in pain and in need. So pathetic but legit, my dear." Helena was silent for a moment before glancing at him. "Am I hapless, pitiful soul who is pathetic to you?" Helena asked. Sweeney looked at her with surprise before smiling conceitedly, "You? Don't be silly Helena, I care about you." He answered. Helena looked at him, "You are a hapless, pitiful soul. I really can't understand you that well." She noted. "What I want is for you to complete me. I always wanted you Helena." said Sweeney. Helena was unsure as Sweeney was going to take her by storm however Nathan, Enya, and Andel were not going to let that happened. They were going to protect their friends from all the terror everyone suffered as they fought Sweeney and Mogue. However; Sweeney was insane with power to care what he says. His hair was a mess and was bleeding from his hands. He panted and heaved, "I will not stop until I get you, Nathan Cobbins." yelled Sweeney. Now, Nathan is now pounding that bastard with his powers. After the defeat, Sweeney explained he did all this for someone to care about him and took upon himself to take revenge against the world but he doesn't know how he would live like this any longer! Here he has spent his life regretting his mistakes and feeling angry towards people, all because he is not able to let go of his past and look at things in a different perspective. Sweeney is completely done with the phase of his life where he’s dwelled on his past mistakes, as it’s driving him crazy. He's going to leave his mistake-ridden life and changing his perspective. He hasn’t been living the most moral or strict life because he finds that being bad relieves some of his bad memories. However, Sweeney may have been in a rush to achieve his goal and didn’t succeed at first. Although he did horrible things towards others, Nathan walked over and comfort him. "I've learned something out of all this....Shit happens, just let it pass and forget it. You know, you can’t change the past, so there’s no reason to holding on to it." Nathan said. Just then, Sweeney realized some things: He’s too tired and sick of remembering his dark past which doesn’t allow him to live. He wants to put the past apart and live the rest of his life without regret. All through his life Sweeney has been worrying over his past, but is determined to forget about his mistakes and live in the present. There are the ups and downs, the struggles, the unexpected events that occur and in the end it only makes a person stronger. But overall he will not have to learn to not think about it. And he decides to live for what was lost as well as Mogue. Since the battle was over as Sweeney and Mogue left; Phoenix realized they've been different...Changed. Now they recruit El Gallo and these two groups have become Phoenix El Gallo, with Enya as leader! Sweeney and Mogue thought they would join but they have a lot to amend to. Helena also joined El Gallo as well.

After Nathan was done; Andel tells the tale about Aubrey: He saw him as he rushed over and was shocked to see be a kitten had hard pebbles thrown at by three big boys who only laughed at the poor, chained kitten's misery! That made Aubrey very angry, he called out: "HEY!!!!" The three kids turned, Aubrey steps forward as his anger seethed. "Leave that kitten alone, you jerks!" He called out. But the bullies took no heed so Aubrey took out a gun and fired near them. The bullies stopped torturing the kitten and they were frightened by the sight of the boy holding a gun as he meant business. "Let me repeat myself, I said...Leave the poor kitten alone or I'm putting a bullet in you, get away right now!" He commanded. The bullies were so scared, they ran for their lives like heck. Aubrey freed the kitten but the poor thing succumbed to its wounds and died from all the bruises and bloody scars the bullies did to the kitten. Tears streamed down Aubrey's face. He then cremated the kitten's body and buries the ashes with a made up tombstone that reads: "Here lies a kitten, died after a merciless torment by a bunch of thugs." The kitten's death weighd on Aubrey so much that in his emotional state, he stumbed upon the edge of the cliff and he saw it was a long way down. Aubrey didn't care, he couldn't save the kitten in time. If only he'd been there soon, then maybe those bastards wouldn't tortured it to death. But it didn't matter to him anymore, he leaped from the cliff when something grabbed him and suspended Aubrey in the air. Andel saved him just in time. Finally, Aubrey managed find them as he called out to them. Enya and her crew looked up as they saw him. "STOP RIGHT THERE, ANDEL!!!!" shouted Aubrey. Enya, Nathan, and the others looked up in shock. There was Aubrey against the walls above as his eyes looked fierce and intense. "What the hell? How did he get in here?" demanded Enya. "Everyone--Scattered!" Nathan instructed. People move in different opposite directions while Aubrey was on Andel's tail as he shouted, "Can't escape me coward!" He chased Andel, who called out: "Please! Who are you? What do you want with me?" But Andel pounced him and cornered him with a gun in hand. Andel managed to recognize him as the boy from before. "So it's you." Andel said, "You're the boy who wanted to jump." Aubrey held a gun to him, "Yeah, me! I wanted to know...Why? Why did you save me? You could've let me die back there!" He demanded. "But I didn't. You should be thankful. If I wasn't there, you would probably hit the ground and it would be too late." Andel assured him. Aubrey pointed his gun at him, "You didn't answer my question, why didn't you let me jump?" He said. Andel looked at him in the eye, "You were trying to save and help that dying kitten and you were upset when it succumb. That kitten died from cruel savages like those guys. I saw the whole thing and it wasn't your fault." He said. Andel had a pained look on his face, "If only I'd been there to save in time...Torturing a kitten is almost like tormenting an innocent person to death. No mercy...It's so inhuman. So sick in the head. Makes me want to puke so bad.....I hated it so much....Hurts so badly...." He lowered his gun. Tears, again, streaming down his eyes as he points to his chest. "....Right here in my beating heart...." He muttered. Andel looked at him with shock, "That's why you....Oh, I get it....I know now. And I want to tell you something that you should remember. Let that dead kitten help you remind you of your purpose on protecting people. Even if you were too late, you can still save lives. Protecting the people that care about you is the most important thing. Never forget that." As he said this, he put a hand on his shoulder. Aubrey looked at him, "You're right. I may not be a perfect person but I am special...I'm only human too." He said with a nod. Once the stories were over, Monica and Conner couldn't believe it. "Wow, seriously? You guys somehow change." remarked Monica. Conner was speechless, he couldn't believe that such strange people were enough to change a person's life. Now he could somehow form a friendship with these two. Even Nathan and Andel decided to join an alliance with Monica, Conner, and the others. In the meantime; the news was on as it was reported that the votes of the politician were low while Atlas was high up by over thirty percent. Then, there was a crash sound coming from the next room and Karina's scream filled the apartment room. "AUGH!!! OVER THIRTY PERCENT?! THAT NO GOOD SON OF A BUTCH!!!!" exclaimed Karina. That's when Jude calls her out: "Karina, what's going on?" Karina was annoyed, "I'm fine." She claimed. "What's wrong?" Jude inquird once more. "I said, I'm fine!" snapped Karina. "Hey you little twerp, you better keep it down! You're losing your edge of sanity!" shouted Axel. Karina growled, "Shut up, Axel!" She was going to take a shower, alone, but she attempt to take her own life by cutting her skin in her wrist deeply but was intervened by the two goons. She was apprehended as she cried out, "Let go of me you creeps! Let go right now!" An instant later, Karina put on her shirt as she has her sweatpants on and glared at the goons who finally looked at her as they were giving her plenty of privacy. Karina left her room as Axel looked at her with a dark smirk on his face. "You less decent now?" Axel remarked. Karina gave him a look, "Y'know, you don't have to get those goons to be in the same room with me. How could you?" She said. Axel glared at her, "You wanna try kamikaze? Not gonna happen, Karina!" He replied. Karina got so mad that she stormed out. "DAMMIT!!! Sometimes I hate your guts Axel!" She exclaimed and rushed out. She ran so far that she found a parking bench and sat there to rest. Finally, she heard footsteps stopped near her. "Where the hell were ya?!" demanded Axel. Karina glared at him, "Why do you care?" She snapped. She was fuming and she was upset. "How did this happen? Why are all the self human mongrel bastards like Juno and her stupid, dysfunctional family? Juno's loose, hot and bothered harlot reputation are worshipped? Or be honored for speaking their mind or like a hero just like my dad who is nothing more than a bully! He is honored for being a racist, his insults are praised, and how he is seen as a god when he is not!" ranted Karina. She stamped her foot as she threw her head back in anger as she cried out, "UGH, I AM FED UP WITH THIS STUPID WORLD!!!! PEOPLE CANNOT FEEL--THANKS TO THE LESSONS FROM TV OF ALL THE CRAPPY CELEBRITIES AND JERKASSES AMONG THE POLITICS!!!!" She buried her face in her hands. Axel sighed while he sits next to her, "Not everyone worships the jackasses and motherflippin' suck ups." He replied. Karina looked up at him, "Oh yeah, who? Besides you and me as well as Jude, who hates the tramp name Juno, her sisters, and Atlas? Name me one person!" She asked. Axel was about to reply, "I--" but Karina interrupts, "Exactly! No one, nada!" She interjects. Axel was annoyed with this attitude she was having, "Karina, will you shut up for a moment? Your father got pelted after he was exposed." He said. Karina rolled her eyes, "Liar. That's all a lie!" She exclaimed. Axel looked at her in disbelief. "What?" He almost shouted. "You're just trying to make me feel better? Well Axel, it ain't working for me!!! I am nothing more than a liar, a traitor, and a thief! I'm sick of myself! I'm sick with all these liars, traitors, and thieves. It drives me insane!!!!" Karina choked out through tears. She begins to sob as she managed to say, "...I'm dying on the inside. I'm so broken. I feel broken so heavily and we think it'll get better but it gets worser and worser." Then, she felt an arm around her and looked over at Axel but she was leaning against him. She heard him say: "Someone once told me that it gets better no matter how rough life gets." Karina nods, "Will it?" She asked. "Yeah, you gotta take it day by day. Just live your life with peace. No one's going to take control of you or tell you how to live your life." said Axel. Karina smiled sadly and embraced him warmly. Meanwhile; Nana looked through the scope of the rifle from the rooftop, "Tick tock tick! Tock tick tick! In position, no detectable. Come on, come on, where are you boys? Na wants to play and it ain't hide n' seek." She said with clenched teeth. When she saw Jude and Axel, she opened fire above them. "AH-HA, I FOUND YA RAOUL AND GONZO!!! YOU'RE MINE, ALL MINE NOW FOR I HAVE FRRRIENDS ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!" She exclaimed. Nana had to be careful not to shoot anyone there but she did it where only objects are. She prayed no one would get hurt. During this time, they were all ducking down. "Where's the shooter?" asked Axel. "Look, up there!" One of the goons calls out. They could see Nana above, who waved and calls out: "Come and find me!" And she flees. The heat of the chase was on as she was being hunted. She made her way from rooftops like crazy until she reached an abandoned building! She managed to hid herself as she heard the goons talking. One of them was saying, "Where the hell is she?" The other said, "Hell would I know? I can't see in this place. She scampered swiftly and quietly towards the door as Nana heard Axel said: "What is this stupid girl up to? She's crazy." Now he's asked for it! Doors opened with a hard thrust as Nana appears with her back turn. She turned around before she did backflips and whirls around to face the others. "What's wrong with that? It does wonders for me." She remarked. She pointed her rifle at them as she begins ranting like a lunatic: "Just a minute ago, I wanted to kill you....Now y'all wanna kill me...What should I do? I don't know....CALL THE FRIGGIN' COPS!!! Cock-a-doodle doo! I am a savage beast! Bleaugh! Hark ye, savages, move it along, or be turned into savage chops! You hear ye?!" The others looked at her funny, "One day I woke up to discover stripes on her body from DRINK ME beverages and EAT ME foods. The kids were calling colors which causes the colors on her to match. I went through a number of transformations including turning into a pill after being given one; having a virus, bacteria and fungus grow on my body after doctors discuss these as a possible cause; growing roots, berries, crystals, feathers, and a long furry tail, after being given medicine by my parents, and turning and absorbing into my room, after being advised by a spiritual counselor. Finally, an old lady persuades me to eat some lima beans and cured me! Breaking the curses of DRINK ME and EAT ME!!!!" She smiled. Axel, Jude, and the goons glanced at her with awkward expressions. "You really are crazy." Axel remarked. Nana grinned, "Crazy, sassy, irresistible.....Well, I wouldn't say that....What else? Ah, yes....Funny, creative, and also a mere chance of being aware of my surroundings as well as paying attention to the gut feeling inside of me." She explained. "Hmm..." Jude said. "Well, it's been nice playing games with ya but I gotta go. See ya!" Nana replied. She turned on her heel and went away. Axel and Jude watched her go, as she looked like a glowing fairy, smiling bright than a star in the sky. Like she's got some sort of magic going on.
"She is unbelievable." Axel said. Jude nods slightly, "Yup, like this tragic?" He asked. Axel smirked, "We could use her or keep her maybe." He suggested. Jude gave him a look and Axel has a some sort of smugness on his face. On day one for a new week, Nana had been having weird dreams lately that are freaking her out and she needs to find a way to interpreted them and she discovered the meaning to them all. Finally, she found the meaning for all of them: "To dream that you are walking through the woods signify your return to an aspect of yourself that is innocent and spiritual. If you are walking out of the woods, then the dream may be a literal depiction of being out of the woods or being in the clear of some situation. Day Two, she has been having more dreams that are freaking her out and looks it up once again: To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life.
