Chapter 1: Agent With A Thousand Scars

Joel Mufferaw felt someone was here! "You guys feel something?" He asked. "Yeah, this feels weird to me." agreed his friend Baz Münchhausen. Another friend by the name of Andoni Beverly was annoyed, "What are you guys getting at?" He demanded. "I can feel it too." remarked a female friend name Evangeline Gabrian. Then, there was a loud sound that went KABOOM! "Yikes! What was that?" exclaimed Joel. "A bomb? An earthquake?" inquired Baz. "This can't be real!" Andoni said. "It came from over there!" Evangeline replied, pointing over to the smoke as a voice said in Joel's mind: "Brave warrior....Board to the rendezvous point in the direction to the South, gather there for it is about to begin." Joel ran past the others as his friends call after him! Joel found a boat and went on it when he stopped to see another ship. There was another boy on the ship who looked like Joel's age! "Huh? Hey, who are you anyway?" asked Joel. "Just in case you're wondering, I was the one who made that Kaboom explosion." replied the boy. Joel nodded, "Figure it was somebody, I could tell it was your power I sensed." He said. "Not bad, they don't call me Mr. Karma for nothing." answered the boy. "Well I don't want mess with ya but you scared the crap out of us! I don't know if I can but you should know to never mess with me or you'll go boom dude!" said the boy. "I'm Joel Mufferaw, what's your name?" introduced Joel. "I'm Omere Stormalong." said the boy. Joel and Omere decides to work together. They traveled on a boat after Omere dropped his boat on an island and the two journeyed on the boat however they stopped when they saw someone near shore with broken remains of his ship. "The boat isn't working....Dammit!" muttered the guy. The guy looked leaned muscular and has dark hair. Joel and Omere stopped the boat as they decided to help him. "Hey, you look like you need help. You all right?" asked Joel. The boy glared at the two as he said, "I don't need any help, I'm fine." Joel was taken aback by his behavior, "Whoa! What's up with this guy? What the hell is his problem?" He thought. Omere calls out, "No need to get all aggressive, my friend, we just notice you might be in trouble. Want to come with us? I'm Omere Stormalong, and this is my new friend Joel Mufferaw." The boy looked at him before he admits with such a display, "Fine. Not like I want to join but I have no other choice either." He remarked, "I'm Toell Ursus." And so, this aggressive fellow came upon the boat and join the other two. They managed to reached their destination where they came across another group of three boys their ages as it seems. Their names are Pepito 'Pepe' Magarac, Gerard Heinz, and Marek Rexton! Meanwhile; Roxanne was driving on an errand and stopped for a bit to get gas however she nearly lost control of her car. That's when she stopped and saw her tires slashed. So she decided to stay somewhere and found a sign that read "STAY THE NIGHT AT FERNHILL MANOR". Roxanne went up to the manor and knocked on the door, "Who's there?" Roxanne heard a woman call out. "I mean no harm really," Roxanne answered. "Sorry to be a bother. My name is Roxanne. Sorry I never mentioned it before. I came to take a room for the night, if the offer's still good." She looked a little concern. "Oh, of course it is, dear," said the woman, answering the door and turning the lights on. "Roxanne. Oh, that's such a pretty name, honey. Well, I'm Mrs. Fernhill. Let's get you situated. You put your name and arrival time in the book there and I'll get you a key. All the boarding rooms are on the second floor, and there's only a couple left." Roxanne was shocked to hear this, "There are others here?" She asked. This was surprising. Not a single car had been in the front lawn when she pulled in. "Oh, yes, Miss Roxanne." Mrs. Fernhill was puttering around in the adjacent room. "There's a few of us here." She came back out with a key in her hand. "Just out of curiosity, what made you come here anyway?" She seemed to brighten as she asked the question, as though relieved that Roxanne would stay after all. "Oh, it's probably just local kids getting kicks," she said. "But I found my vehicle's tires slashed." Mrs. Fernhill stopped suddenly, her face twisted with concern and worry. Then she resumed, as though nothing was wrong. "Nothing to be done for it, I suppose," she said, with a look of sadness. During the tour, Roxanne noticed how huge and big it is. "There's someone else here who has the same powers as you." said Mrs. Fernhill. Roxanne looks at her, "Who is it?" She inquired. Mrs. Fernhill glanced at her and smiled, "You'll meet that person soon." said Mrs. Fernhill. Roxanne was lead by Mrs. Fernhill. She informs her of how she will have a bodyguard. Roxanne was surprised, "I don't need one. I'll be fine." She said. Mrs. Fernhill strictly told her not to argue and accept this request. Roxanne accepts as she was staying for the night at this woman's place. After all, she wants to meet the person who has the same powers as she. While in her room; Roxanne relaxed for a bit when she decided to maybe finds something to eat around here. However while outside of her room, she saw a figure in black detached itself from the shadows of the trees and made its way to her car. Roxanne jumped up and ran at the window. The figure was tall, and seemed to be wearing a cloak made of night. She saw as its arm extended. In its hand was a long, jagged dagger. It dragged the dagger across the side of her, leaving a long gash-mark in the paint of the wall. "Hey!" she shouted. The figure kept dragging the dagger. She reached for the window to open it. It wouldn't budge! She looked for a lock, but couldn't see one. "Hey!" she yelled again. This time the figure raised its head. She could see the glint of two eyes under the hood. The figure raised the dagger, slowly, determinedly. It pointed it straight at her face. She leaped away from the window and ran for the door. A noise on the other side stopped her. Footsteps. Dragging, shambling footsteps. And crying. The sound of a person for whom deep, longing sadness is a way of life. She waited. Somehow, she just felt that she should let the old man pass before she opened the door. Before he got very far, however, she heard other footsteps, these much quicker and lighter, run up the stairs and stop near the door of her room. She opened it as she saw someone with a sharp object and chased Roxanne, who ran off in fear until she reached a dead end. But found a door and went through it as the piercing object cut through the door. Roxanne gasped. "Stop it!" hissed Mrs. Fernhill, "Go back in your room right now! You know better. Never run around with sharp objects that way to a young lady. Now you go back in there. You've got no business being out at this hour anyway."

Roxanne was surprised and headed back to her room. While looking around; Roxanne discovers a horrible chamber of girls are seen in a chase of an pointless game to get a black banner while hornets bite them and parasitic worms are sucking their blood. The female victims into the chaotic storms, where they swirl into the madness. Girls are seen lying the mud while filth rained down hard on them. Two girls are seen pushing boulders at one another in a raging matter. Into another terror, There is a swampy river, where a girl is seen being tortured by demons as a person watches her suffering in delight. Girls are lashed with whips, forced to lie in a river of filth, are hung upside down while their feet are burning, forced to walk backwards blindfolded. From being awake to dreaming, at the core, which is a memory lost but it still exists elsewhere in the center of the subconscious. Roxanne is stuck in a dull routine, seeing the same old people and doing the same old things over and over again. Each day, everyone wakes up early to get a head start in the rat race, competing for money or power, but because everyone is stuck in the system, no one really gets ahead. Although everyone feels like Roxanne, sad and unfulfilled, they hold it back so that their sadness doesn’t show. Since everyone is going through life on automatic, trying hard not to think or show how sad they are, everyone thinks everyone else is fine. She wants to put her head down and pretend that there’s no tomorrow, since each day is the same as the last. Thinking about how the unfulfilling cycle will continue is too much to bear, and makes her want to drink until she forgets. The world is so mad that dying actually sounds like a good idea to and Roxanne must find her only escape. During her visit, Roxanne bears to witness the shocking depravities of the human mind as well as monstrous abnormalities of the physical body. Tragically incurable, these tortured souls spend their vile existence plauged by a nightmarish reality that mercifully eludes those who cling to their sanity. In the afternoon; Roxanne got to meet a boy with dark hair and dark blue-violet eyes. He has a serious look on his face. Roxanne smiles at him, relieved as she begins to warm up to him. "Hello, my name is Roxanne. What's your name?" asked Roxanne. The stoic young man glanced at her. Then he replies, "Toell Ursus." Roxanne nods, "Toell, huh." She said with a nod. "I'm glad you're my bodyguard, it gets scary around here when I'm alone." Roxanne replied. Toell nods, he didn't say anything else when he mysteriously vanished. She looked around when she heard a scream as she looked out the window: She saw someone fall out of a window from the other side and fall into the pool. Roxanne is scared, she runs out to save the person who fell out. However, she is chased by a masked person with a pair of large blade and Roxanne managed to escape from him. She came across a lab but she found Toell clutching his arm, blood poured from it. Roxanne approached towards him, she couldn't believe it was him. And saw he was bleeding pretty badly from his arm. "What's wrong? Are you OK?" Roxanne asked. Toell grimaced, "I'm fine. This is nothing." He said. Roxanne felt bad, "Here, let me help." She said. She managed to find iodine, white bandages to wrap around it and managed to cover the wound. While she did this, Toell stared at her in amazement. Roxanne noticed as she smiles. However, once again Toell disappeared. Roxanne was annoyed, but she explored around the mansion. She discovered many horrors: While washing her hands, she discovered blood and maggots coming out of the sink! She heard a glass break as she found some sort of fleshy, blood stained mess of an experiment from a beaker. Then, she found a taxidermized corpse in the closet and its lifeless eyes opened as it try to attack Roxanne, but she fought back and it became like straw. During the fight; Rory escapes from the boys while Dominic cries out: "THEY'LL CATCH YOU!" Rory responds back, "NO! NO! NEVER!" but she is shocked that she can hear that cry and nobody else can. Elwynis shocked at this as he yells at her in disbelief: "She can hear you? She can...YOU CAN HEAR HIM, CAN'T YOU?!" But Rory runs away until she was out of breath as she tries to sooth herself with lies such as that those voices are part of her imagination. Rory is walking down a path as she enters underneath the bridge but she is stalked by Dominic and Elwyn, who try to interrogate her: "Rory, I know you can hear me....You are hunted by those monsters.....Don't you dare try to walk away from this and treat this incident like it was nothing. Because I know it meant a lot to both of us and I don't want you to act any differently." He says. Rory ignores this as she says to herself, "I am just hearing things." Elwyn was next to speak up, "You're a liar Rory...You lie so much that they become the truth and you don't seem to tell the truth always. You think you can give up on trying because of all this. Do you really have everything you want? You can’t give love to anyone else because your heart is cold. Like ice." He said. Rory placed her hands over her ears and begin humming but Dominic speaks out: "You may think other people are the main source of all your problems but you're the really the problem and you can’t runaway from yourself like you feel like you could do from everyone. You happy now that you're living the life without anyone to love you? You know you're not doing well as you say you are." However Rory does not reply as she claims that she's hearing things. Dominic cries out, "FRREAKK!!!!" Rory screams and gasps to see that nobody is there until she hears faint snickering. Rory comforts herself but she feels stalked as she starts to hear footsteps so she takes off running again until she feels the feet are behind her too. Rory is so scared and begs for mercy however she trips and tumbles down a hill while she weeps bitterly yet silently. Rory begs for help but she hears nothing and cries harder but she hears someone singing softly to a lullaby. Eventually; Rory starts to calm down as she starts to trust the fainting footsteps. After a while of silence; Rory is talking aloud for Dominic and Elwyn to hear, "My life was overwhelming and against odds, all the pain that I have been through, and the sufferings that I had encountered. The weight bears on me." Then; her moods change, she's becoming quite hungry and eats something she never had before as she feels nausea. The next day; Rory notices that something is terribly wrong and begs for help as Dominic and Elwyn came to her aid. In the meantime, Rory has been suffering of traumatic nightmares as well as talking in her sleep: Her fundamentalist religious grandmother that has been staying with her and the family for some time as she is abusive towards her and her own family. Rory also witnessed her crazed grandma killing Rory's mother as she was so terrified but she does not know that Dominic is watching her from outside her room! He is curious to know what's going on with Rory as he and Elwyn attempts to use some kind of mental trick to let her admit what is she hiding underneath the happy mask. Hearing their plan in their mental consciousness; Rory pretends to be naive and accepts their offer so she writes about her abuse. She confesses that she wants revenge--Justice towards the one that raped her up pretty badly and starts crying a little, Rory claims that she just wants some peace in her pain! Elwyn feels remorse, he never realizes that someone would do a cruel thing to a young woman. Dominic is also remorseful but he fears that Rory might turn into someone else so he refuses to help her in revenge and that's when she refuses as she becomes mercilessly until she sees them both bleed and stops as she heals them. She apologizes over and over again as she cries even harder: "Oh god, I feel like a monster!" She sobbed. Rory got herself involved in going undercover however she noticed Jude and Axel were here so she quietly revealed her name to Elwyn, who keeps her secret and managed to fight each other. After the match, Elwyn looks over his shoulder and smirks a little bit, "Don't look now but your propitious yet eye catching enthusiast is approaching in this direction." Sure enough; Dominic was heading over to Jude and Rory: "Well, well, Dominic. Your comrade has some impressive fighting skills." said Axel. "I try to make this young lady look good on the battlefield." shrugged Elwyn. "C'mon, Dominic. Her skills far surpasses you even more than you think." Elwyn commented. Smiling at his praise; Rory spoke to Dominic: "Perhaps you and I can fight right here and now, Mr--" Dominic finished Rory's sentence, "Dominic--I'm Dominc, and I accept." Rory chokes back a squeal of glee, "Sweet! Sounds like a date."During the fight; Dominic asked Rory, "You look familiar.......Haven't I seen you before?" Rory smiles as she says, "I'm an interesting person." After the breath-taking battle is over; Rory queries, "So miss, what's your name?" Rory replies seductively, "Why? It's common for me to not let you know anything personal." This made Dominic was confused, "What? What does that suppose to mean?" He asked. "Anonymous name. Kinda like an enchantress?" Rory purred demurely. "Who the hell are you?" Dominic demands. But then Rory blows her own cover as she bellows, "Hell-O, Weiss Boys--Are you gonna play that funky music against me?" And runs off as she is being followed by Dominic and Elwyn as she flirts with them playfully. She also tries to convince them to let her go. The boys almost fall for her charms as Rory suggest that they can join her. "Sorry but I don't sustain mutineers." confirmed Dominic coldly. "Mutineer? What happened to the guy I used to know?" Rory asked in mock sadness. "He became fully grown from appealing, problematic schoolgirls, for example yourself, and found a lady of his own so you coming back with us?" Dominic asks. "Depends! You and Elwyn going to chase me?" Rory shots back playfully. "Better get underway, Sweetheart." said Elwyn. "Try and keep up, Wonder Boys. Don't fall behind!" called Rory. The chase is on as Rory reaches to a dead end before she calls out before vanishing, "Sorry gotta run, catch ya later--boys!" And escaped as Elwyn and Dominic were upset as she escaped.

How did this all happened? Let's turn back the pendulum and go back to the beginning....Shall we?

That's when Rory, Dominic, and Elwyn looked on the Moneta as they saw Ariadne Sirius's memories on there and were shocked to see what it was: Ariadne looked around to see the colors in the air as she danced around, feeling magic in the air of how beautiful this place. However, she was daydreaming so much that she didn't watch where she was going. Because she bumped into someone else: "Aaah!" The person said. "Yipe!" Ariadne yelped. Ariadne and the other person stumbled down as Ariadne cries, "Good Lor--Whoa!" Down, down they went but Ariadne uses her water powers to save her and the person she is tumbling with. "Hey, pal! What the hell?" Ariadne demanded. "Sorry about that." The person said. He was a cutie, Ariadne felt like a jerk to this totally attractive guy with glasses, which he was adjusting. "Hello...It's OK. I'm fine, it's no big deal." Ariadne apologized. "You serious?" asked the guy. "Yeah, my bad. And I'm dead serious." confirmed Ariadne. "Fascinating." The guy complimented. Ariadne smiled, The guy realized he forgot to introduced himself. "Oh, sorry. Janus Sayer." He introduced. Ariadne shake his hand, "Ariadne Sirius." She said. In the next image, Ariadne runs her fingers through her hair as her ice/water powers are revealed to Dio, Phoebe, and Janus who watch with wide eyes at this. Ariadne looked at their gaping faces and grinned before she sped away with a trail of ice behind her. Dio was shocked but smiled, "Well, well. I knew something about her seemed special." He muttered. On the Moneta, there was a stoned face captain and others cadets are under attack by the Revenants. But lately, they were struggling against them and things weren't going too well. That was about to change when someone looked up and saw something in the distance. "Look, up there!" One of the soldiers called. Immediately, The stoned face captain saw someone standing on a mountain top. It was Ariadne, which she hollers: "Soldiers, heed my words, I am here to delivery you from the hands of the Revenants. Witness a miracle I will perform." The others looked at each other with confusion, the stoned face captain watched what she can do. Ariadne took a deep breath and flexed her hands out. She then said to herself, "Water....my friend...my partner...my world...my element...the only thing I ask for you...is for a little control." All of a sudden; to everyone was shocked to see a body of water in the sky. Then, the water came onto the Revenants and drowned them. Ariadne then said to the water, "Water flowing through...." She chanted, ".....Freeze up when this spell is through." The water turns into a huge block of ice prison for the creatures. Then she glided down and kicked the ice block, which exploded in pieces. Ariadne landed among the pieces, she saluted. "Ariadne Sirius, reporting for duty." She announced. She beamed and then looked to see stoic-faced captain looking at her. "Captain Siegfried Krieger. Nice to meet you." said the stoic faced guy. The image changed as it shows Ariadne got leads on where her sister is. She is being held at a facility of the 'insane females' so Ariadne and the others head over there but soon discover that it's tight with security and had to take down the guards with their abilities, which they did successfully. Ariadne seized one of the guards and demanded from him, "Where is Phaedra Sirius?" "I--I don't know!" He protested. "You better know, tell me!" cried Ariadne, clenching tighter and the guard grimaced in pain. "All right, all right....She's in Room 346." He choked out. "You sure?" asked Ariadne. "Yes! She has her medicine almost every day." protested the guard. Ariadne nodded, "All right. Thanks." She said. They did in time, a young woman was in the room and turned around. "Who are you?" She asked. "Phaedra, it's me. Ariadne." said Ariadne. The woman, Phaedra, was spellbound. "What? Aria, is that you?" asked Phaedra. Ariadne nodded, then they embraced each other in a tearful moment. "I thought you were dead." said Phaedra, when she pulled away. "I thought you were dead." replied Ariadne. "I'm so glad to see you." said Phaedra, "You met my daughters, I assumed?" "Yes, they are gorgeous, angels." said Ariande. "Yes, I know. Ohhh..." said Phaedra. Just then, the guards came. "You there! You are on reserved terrain! Release your artillery and yield or we will use deadly dynamism." said a soldier over the speakers. Ariadne unleashed her snake powers and she took down the guards. Then she straightened up and sneered, "Sorry, not happening!" called Ariadne. She and the others ran off from the guards. Angry at this incompetence; Zachariah turned on the microphone for the speakers, "What the hell is happening down there? Guards, get off your posteriors and investigate! I'll be in my chambers, don't let them show up here!" He commanded. Ariadne and the others were running from the guards when one of the guards made an announcement, "Warning! We are padlocking up on all zones immediately. Soldiers must--gah!" He is knocked out, he stumbles forward. Zachariah glares down at him and speak over the public address system, "Enough, you fool! Give heed, you basilisks. No one damages my territory like this. I foresee it was valued."He declared. Just then, a flash of light shine upon the four of them, Ariadne gasped. "Well, well...If it isn't Ariadne Sirius. I found you now. You look fetching on monitor, alive. But you'll be wholesome when I'm through with you!” Ariadne and the others dodged his attacks when Ariadne was separated from them until she was held hostage by Perseus Aion. Zachariah threatened to kill her, however he was unaware that stoic Captain Krieger. He apprehended Perseus, and rescued Ariadne. Perseus tried to stab Krieger, who wrestled the knife away but with so much strength, he stabbed Perseus on accident, much to everyone's shock. In his fear; Zachariah got away, but Ariadne didn't want to leave until she found Zachariah. "Why?" Krieger asked. "You saw what he tried to do, I will not..." Ariadne said. "What? An eye for an eye? Fight fire with fire? Is that it?" Krieger asked. Ariadne chuckled darkly with no humor and said, "That's the thing...You forget, you don't know anything about me." "I am not going to let you go after him by yourself." said Krieger. "Oh really?" Ariadne said, unleashing her powers. "Captain Krieger, what are you going to do to stop me?" Calmly, Krieger walked over and put his hands on her shoulders. Ariadne gasped, but she heard him say: "Nothing. Because I'm going to help you do it." Ariadne trembled, "You'd do that...For me?" She asked. Then, her emotions got the best of her and she embraced Krieger tightly but he didn't care, all that matters he was going to help her. He caressed her hair in a comfort manner. "Thank you, thank you!" blubbered Ariadne. She wiped her face and pulled herself together. There was a battle to be started. Ariadne and her crew confronted Zachariah. "So you came. I knew you've come." He said. "Why'd you do it, Zachariah?" asked Ariadne. Zachariah glared at her fiercely, "Why? Why? Because you people have no idea what it's like to be a loner. You think you're so great but you're not." He exclaimed. "You're wrong, I'd never been noticed before. I was all alone and nobody ever noticed me." Ariadne said. "Yeah, you know it feels huh? Well no loneliness from me, I was nothing to anyone and was the figure of ridiculed. All of us were. Ector. Orcus. All of them!" Zachariah cried. Ariadne looked at him with disbelief, "You started a massacre all because of being bullied?" She asked. "YEAH, SO WHAT?!" screamed Zachariah, waving his hands around as his eyes were bloodshot. I HATED EVERYONE, I HATED THEM ALL!!!!" "Oh, Zachariah...I never knew...I didn't know." protested Ariadne. "Why didn't you get help?" asked Juana. "Oh sure, the principal said that these people weren't such bad people and didn't do a damn thing." He said. Captain Krieger attempt to take him down however Zachariah got the best of him and took him down. Upset, Ariadne confronted him. That's when Ariadne and Zachariah fought off against each other. But Ariadne got the best of him, Zachariah was pinned to the ground. "This is the end for you." said Ariadne. "Oh really? You weren't so sure of yourself? Well, it won't be peaceful for you for long." taunted Zachariah. "You are nothing, you couldn't be strong enough to save your peers in that massacre. You couldn't save your family when I killed them!" Ariadne shuttered, she couldn't believe it and she lost control of herself. Rory gasped in shocked and turned off the Moneta, she feels like she just saw a dream and nearly freaked out when Dominic snaps at her, "Shut up! Relax, it's just somebody else's memories OK?" He was irritated. Elwyn glared at him, "Really? Those memories are really scary to look at." He said. Rory nods, "At least I know I'm not the only one." She said. And smiles nervously.
For the interval time; Roxanne was driving on an errand and stopped for a bit to get gas however she nearly lost control of her car. That's when she stopped and saw her tires slashed. So she decided to stay somewhere and found a sign that read "STAY THE NIGHT AT FERNHILL MANOR". Roxanne went up to the manor and knocked on the door, "Who's there?" Roxanne heard a woman call out. "I mean no harm really," Roxanne answered. "Sorry to be a bother. My name is Roxanne. Sorry I never mentioned it before. I came to take a room for the night, if the offer's still good." She looked a little concern. "Oh, of course it is, dear," said the woman, answering the door and turning the lights on. "Roxanne. Oh, that's such a pretty name, honey. Well, I'm Mrs. Fernhill. Let's get you situated. You put your name and arrival time in the book there and I'll get you a key. All the boarding rooms are on the second floor, and there's only a couple left." Roxanne was shocked to hear this, "There are others here?" She asked. This was surprising. Not a single car had been in the front lawn when she pulled in. "Oh, yes, Miss Roxanne." Mrs. Fernhill was puttering around in the adjacent room. "There's a few of us here." She came back out with a key in her hand. "Just out of curiosity, what made you come here anyway?" She seemed to brighten as she asked the question, as though relieved that Roxanne would stay after all. "Oh, it's probably just local kids getting kicks," she said. "But I found my vehicle's tires slashed." Mrs. Fernhill stopped suddenly, her face twisted with concern and worry. Then she resumed, as though nothing was wrong. "Nothing to be done for it, I suppose," she said, with a look of sadness. During the tour, Roxanne noticed how huge and big it is. "There's someone else here who has the same powers as you." said Mrs. Fernhill. Roxanne looks at her, "Who is it?" She inquired. Mrs. Fernhill glanced at her and smiled, "You'll meet that person soon." said Mrs. Fernhill. Roxanne was lead by Mrs. Fernhill. She informs her of how she will have a bodyguard. Roxanne was surprised, "I don't need one. I'll be fine." She said. Mrs. Fernhill strictly told her not to argue and accept this request. Roxanne accepts as she was staying for the night at this woman's place. After all, she wants to meet the person who has the same powers as she. While in her room; Roxanne relaxed for a bit when she decided to maybe finds something to eat around here. However while outside of her room, she saw a figure in black detached itself from the shadows of the trees and made its way to her car. Roxanne jumped up and ran at the window. The figure was tall, and seemed to be wearing a cloak made of night. She saw as its arm extended. In its hand was a long, jagged dagger. It dragged the dagger across the side of her, leaving a long gash-mark in the paint of the wall. "Hey!" she shouted. The figure kept dragging the dagger. She reached for the window to open it. It wouldn't budge! She looked for a lock, but couldn't see one. "Hey!" she yelled again. This time the figure raised its head. She could see the glint of two eyes under the hood. The figure raised the dagger, slowly, determinedly. It pointed it straight at her face. She leaped away from the window and ran for the door. A noise on the other side stopped her. Footsteps. Dragging, shambling footsteps. And crying. The sound of a person for whom deep, longing sadness is a way of life. She waited. Somehow, she just felt that she should let the old man pass before she opened the door. Before he got very far, however, she heard other footsteps, these much quicker and lighter, run up the stairs and stop near the door of her room. She opened it as she saw someone with a sharp object and chased Roxanne, who ran off in fear until she reached a dead end. But found a door and went through it as the piercing object cut through the door. Roxanne gasped. "Stop it!" hissed Mrs. Fernhill, "Go back in your room right now! You know better. Never run around with sharp objects that way to a young lady. Now you go back in there. You've got no business being out at this hour anyway." Panting out of breath; Roxanne was surprised and headed back to her room. While looking around; Roxanne discovers a horrible chamber of girls are seen in a chase of an pointless game to get a black banner while hornets bite them and parasitic worms are sucking their blood. The female victims into the chaotic storms, where they swirl into the madness. Girls are seen lying the mud while filth rained down hard on them. Two girls are seen pushing boulders at one another in a raging matter. Into another terror, There is a swampy river, where a girl is seen being tortured by demons as a person watches her suffering in delight. Girls are lashed with whips, forced to lie in a river of filth, are hung upside down while their feet are burning, forced to walk backwards blindfolded. From being awake to dreaming, at the core, which is a memory lost but it still exists elsewhere in the center of the subconscious. Roxanne is stuck in a dull routine, seeing the same old people and doing the same old things over and over again. Each day, everyone wakes up early to get a head start in the rat race, competing for money or power, but because everyone is stuck in the system, no one really gets ahead. Although everyone feels like Roxanne, sad and unfulfilled, they hold it back so that their sadness doesn’t show. Since everyone is going through life on automatic, trying hard not to think or show how sad they are, everyone thinks everyone else is fine. She wants to put her head down and pretend that there’s no tomorrow, since each day is the same as the last. Thinking about how the unfulfilling cycle will continue is too much to bear, and makes her want to drink until she forgets. The world is so mad that dying actually sounds like a good idea to and Roxanne must find her only escape. During her visit, Roxanne bears to witness the shocking depravities of the human mind as well as monstrous abnormalities of the physical body. Tragically incurable, these tortured souls spend their vile existence plagued by a nightmarish reality that mercifully eludes those who cling to their sanity. In the afternoon; Roxanne got to meet a boy with dark hair and dark blue-violet eyes. He has a serious look on his face. Roxanne smiles at him, relieved as she begins to warm up to him. "Hello, my name is Roxanne. What's your name?" asked Roxanne. The stoic young man glanced at her. Then he replies, "Toell Ursus." Roxanne nods, "Toell, huh." She said with a nod. "I'm glad you're my bodyguard, it gets scary around here when I'm alone." Roxanne replied. Toell nods, he didn't say anything else when he mysteriously vanished. She looked around when she heard a scream as she looked out the window: She saw someone fall out of a window from the other side and fall into the pool. Roxanne is scared, she runs out to save the person who fell out. However, she is chased by a masked person with a pair of large blade and Roxanne managed to escape from him. She came across a lab but she found Toell clutching his arm, blood poured from it. Roxanne approached towards him, she couldn't believe it was him. And saw he was bleeding pretty badly from his arm. "What's wrong? Are you OK?" Roxanne asked. Toell grimaced, "I'm fine. This is nothing." He said. Roxanne felt bad, "Here, let me help." She said. She managed to find iodine, white bandages to wrap around it and managed to cover the wound. While she did this, Toell stared at her in amazement. Roxanne noticed as she smiles. However, once again Toell disappeared. Roxanne was annoyed, but she explored around the mansion. She discovered many horrors: While washing her hands, she discovered blood and maggots coming out of the sink! She heard a glass break as she found some sort of fleshy, blood stained mess of an experiment from a beaker. Then, she found a taxidermized corpse in the closet and its lifeless eyes opened as it try to attack Roxanne, but she fought back and it became like straw. However, she got a dream sequence in her mind: A man was shouting, he claimed that his arm was in a lot of pain, which is gross of gangrene, and begged for some help. A person approached him and reassured him very much. "Don't worry, I want to help you." said the person. The man was put on the autopsy table and was pumped with a white liquid stuff but whatever was in that white liquid gave the man pain throughout his body up and down. He was screaming in suh agony while his arm was burgeoned because of how disgusting and withered from the abusive use of narcotics. But then, Mrs. Fernhill and that monster tries to kill Roxanne. In this moment, Roxanne thought about Genjo in her near dying fate but somehow, she was not going to die as Toell saved her from them as he burns them alive while escaping with Roxanne. Roxanne looked on in horror as she asked Toell: "Where are we going?" Toell told her, "I'm taking you with me to a whole, new world." Roxanne smiled playfully, "You are, aren't you?" She said. But she could trust him since he wasn't such a bad guy.
