Macushla--Chapter 7

You heard of curses, ghosts, supernatural events, and other strange things around in the world we live in past, present, and future but what if I told you about Murias Island is cursed! Yup, it's cursed. Who cursed it? Well, someone who was pushed too far and was never loved a lot....Someone who wanted revenge against the world for the cruelty they caused her. And only the 'good daughter' must stop her wretched family from all the horror that has happened to them. Find out what happens in a world so seriously strange, so seriously cruel, and so seriously beautiful. Enjoy! P.S. Chapter 7: Mother Dearest, Sister Dearest

Devnet ran. She ran until her muscles burned and her veins pumped varnish remover. She didn't stop running but she felt like her lungs would burst if she didn't stop! "Run, Devnet, RUN!!!!" Her mind was screaming. So many things swarming in her brain and it was all too incoherent inside her mind. "WAIT!!! COME BACK!!!" A voice called out. It was none other than Roxanne, who chased after her and her friends followed behind. "Leave me be!!!" shouted Devnet. "We don't want to hurt you, we just want to talk to you!" Charlotte exclaimed. "No! I'm not talking to you, don't take me back there!" Devnet yelled. She ran and ran but didn't stop, she was losing breath. She stopped and saw Roxanne standing over her, "Yes?! What do you want?" Devnet snapped. "We want to thank you, thank you for saving us." Roxanne said. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" demanded Devnet. Delilah was annoyed, "What is your deal? We're here to thank you, why can't you just be grateful?!" She argued. "I don't trust people! Not you! Not ANYBODY!!!" Devnet exclaimed. "You don't trut anyone? We're not bad people you know...I mean, we wouldn't hurt someone like you." Roxanne said gently. Devnet was shivering however she managed to glare at the girls, "You gonna take me back there? You know you can't take me back there, I won't go back!" She insisted. Roxanne and her friends looked at one another, confused, then looked back at her. "Back to where?" Lalena asked. "Hell...." Devnet whimpered. "Hell? What hell?" Maggie Mae inquired gently. "Hell....Umbramouth...." Devnet said while shivering as she continued, "The torturous experiments....The people.....The children....My family....." That was when she told the story: The whole thing started when the soldiers broke into the homes, got families into the time square for an unusual roll call, and tore the young women away from their loved ones and their families, gave them some surrogate mothers and kept other traumatized women in isolation rooms, sometimes for up to a year. A doctor name Jankin Rohan began expanding his project. He and his assistant created a dark metal box designed to isolate the women from everything in the outside world. Within days, the women kept inside the pit were driven insane, incessantly rocking and clutching at themselves, tearing and biting their own skin and ripping out their hair. When finally removed from isolation, they were too traumatized to interact with others, and some were so shocked and depressed that they starved themselves. Then, the women restrain and inseminate by crazed and perverted men, then they would later watch and photograph the mentally ill mothers physically abusing and killing their own babies or causing miscarriages as well as kamikazes. As the children grew up; a doctor then begins experimenting on the children. The children willingly allowed Dr. Rohan to use their bodies in experiments involving toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, skin creams, detergents, liquid diets, eye drops, foot powders, and hair dyes. Though the tests required constant biopsies and painful procedures, none of the children experienced long-term harm. The next day; the children were placed in experimental groups, Rohan's assistant name Keoni Verrier gave positive speech therapy to half of the children, praising the fluency of their speech, and negative speech therapy to the other half, belittling the children for every speech imperfection and telling them they were stutterers. Many of the normal speaking children who received negative therapy in the experiment suffered negative psychological effects and some retained speech problems during the progression of their life. Due to unsanitary conditions in the next week, it was virtually inevitable that these children would contract disease. One doctor sent to investigate the outbreak, proposed an experiment that would assist in developing a vaccine. However, the experiment required deliberately infecting children with the disease. Though the doctor’s study was controversial from the start, critics were eventually silenced by the permission letters obtained from each child’s parents. In reality, offering one’s child to the experiment was oftentimes the only way to guarantee admittance into the overcrowded institution. 

These unconsenting subjects were lured to safe-houses by prostitutes on the payroll, unknowingly given hallucination drugs and other mind-altering substances, and monitored from behind one-way glass. With an experiment involved with blood pressure and blood flow; the researchers used 113 children ranging in age from one hour to three days old as test subjects. In one experiment, a catheter was inserted through the umbilical arteries and into the aorta. The child's feet were then immersed in ice water for the purpose of testing aortic pressure. In another experiment, up to 50 children were individually strapped onto a circumcision board, then tilted so that their blood rushed to their head and their blood pressure could be monitored. Individual children did not give informed consent and were not informed of their diagnosis; instead they were told they had 'bad blood' and could receive free medical treatment, rides to the clinic, meals and burial insurance in case of death in return for participating. Standard treatments for syphilis were toxic, dangerous, and of questionable effectiveness. Part of the original goal of the study was to determine if patients were better off not being treated with these toxic remedies. For many participants, treatment was intentionally denied. Many patients were lied to and given placebo treatments—in order to observe the fatal progression of the disease. Hearing about these nightmarish things that happened to Devnet; Roxanne and her friends were horrified as they promised to never take her back there. The girls found the wise man, who seemed to recognize Devnet however he didn't say a word. While they all slept; Devnet was in a state of dreaming to a place known as Cockayne where all the residents reside in many parts of the candy world. There was Mr. Hattim, the man in charge of Polkagris Woods. Thomas, the man of Prune Woods. Wilma, Duchess of Caramel Toffee, Haig, in charge of Spice Drop Hills, Phyllis, Princess of Sticky Suckers, Skadi, Queen of Frozen Sorbet Beaches and Griffith, Monster of Black Treacle. The emperor of Cockayne is King Gumdrop who lives in Gumdrop Candy Palace. The evil duke Lord Blud, ruler of the Blood Church, is planning to rule the land of Cockayne and call it Lubberland! However all dreams became nightmares as the last that thing she saw was the clock turn to 2:06 when his knife drove into her chest. Devnet woke up, knowing that it was a dream.  As she flicked the switch on the wall of her bedroom, the light-bulb burnt out in a quick flash--just long enough for her to see the man slide his legs under her bed. She pulled out her gun and shot him. However, she woke up with a start! In the morning, the wise man summons Devnet to the meeting alone where they would be able to talk alone. He tells her that he knows who she is and knows about her life but he knows something that she doesn't: Her family is still alive! Devnet looked at him with a shocked expression, "No! You're lying, I was told that they were dead!" She protested. The wise man was quiet for a moment. "I'm sorry, Devnet, but your mother and sisters are alive....It's just...They're not the family you know now, they've changed a lot." He explained. "But..." Devnet begin to say but the wise man held up a hand and continued, "I know it's hard to believe but there are some strange things going on around here and I'm not talking about the monsters." Devnet narrowed her eyes suspiciously, "What do you mean?" She inquired. "What I mean is, this whole town is cursed with every grime and pain that people caused to your family. The first was your mother, then your sisters." 

That's when he told her one person experienced the curse: Long ago; life was simple for Gwilym Kidder but he always wished for some adventure to come into his life. And someday he would escape from his hometown to see the world. However, he was walking through the grassy fields when he spots a girl very familiar to Gwilym. "Oh, hi Rachelle." He called. The girl turned to his approaching figure, "Collecting firewood again?" asked Gwilym. The girl was quiet but nodded in response. Gwilym looked around as he could see a lot, he sighed and did his best however he was exhausted that he fell asleep in the grass. As he slept; Rachelle came over to look at him, "He looks so peaceful." She thought. She knew they had to get back and take the firewood back home. That's when Gwilym woke up, "Oh...Rachelle. Hey." "Hey sleephead." Rachelle said with a soft smile, "We should get going." Gwilym nodded, he rubbed his eyes. "Uh....What the heck was that I saw? I don't know, was it a dream?" He muttered to himself. Just then, Rachelle came across him as she wiped a tear away with her thumb. After she did that; she blushed at how soft his skin feels. Gwilym was annoyed and backs away as he stood up, "C'mon, let's go back." He said. He carried the firewood as he and Rachelle made small talk to one another as things were going OK between them. Then, a tragedy happened when monsters emerged and attacked Gwilym's homeland. "Gwilym!" Gwilym heard Aldon call, but he just kept running. "Let them be alive, let them be alive..." He kept pleading in his head. Gwilym pushed yourself harder, faster.  He had to make it. As Aldon watched him disappear in the sea of people, his trembling arm was outstretched in his direction this time. "Don't die... Please don't die!" he yelled out. "Come back alive, Gwilym. Please." Gwilym turned the corner of the street, his house now in sight. Or what was left of his house anyway which was now a pile of ashes. Only a small portion stood up straight. A baby's cry came from the wreckage. "Lilith!" He cried, happy to hear that his 8 month old baby sister was still alive. "Gwilym!!! Get the hell outta here!" His mother cried. Gwilym snapped his head up, only to see the cold eyes as it swiftly brought his mom to its mouth, and bit his mother into two, then gnawed her until the blood was dried up and making it crash on his baby sister and possibly on the other dead bodies of his grandmother and younger twin brothers. That was it. That was the last straw. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH! " He bellowed in rage. Yet something twinged in you; guilt. Maybe if he only arrived sooner...He shook off the thought and charged. Unfortunately,  a figure wrapped his arms around his waist and threw Gwilym onto his shoulder.  "Hey!  Put me down! Can't you see that damned thing killed my family?!" He shrieked as he pounded on the man's back. The monster watched him get away, while Gwilym curses directed towards it. Meanwhile; Roxanne and her friends asked Madame Teresa about Devnet so the Moneta showed it to the girls. Roxanne and the girls watched the memories of Devnet's life: Devnet Sinclair and she is 15 year old who takes her revenge on a man by discreetly poisoning his drink with white powder concealed in her ring. As he falls dead, Devnet calls for help however she is arrested for poisoning the man. Devnet is taken to a women's prison, where she is led to her cell by two prison guards, who strip her of shoulder-padded dress and left lying nude, while she is mocked by the other women prison inmates. Eventually; Devnet is bailed out and exits to find her best friend, Patricia 'Patsy' Garth was waiting for her. Later; Devnet and Patsy fighting off a group of men wearing suits in an office. When all of the men are defeated, Patsy betrays Devnet by kicking her out of a window. Devnet lying on a broken car, while a man smokes a cigar. The guy then takes Devnet and then, she was being nursed back to health by the man. After some time, she is ready to start training for her revenge. When her training is complete, Devnet decides to exact their revenge on Patsy and her men. All her life while training; Devnet was a lonely girl. She sat up in her tower and talked to the little voices that niggled in the back of her mind. She lived a lonely life. And to think that all she did was sit by that window, gazing out at the yonder blue and the world below. She had to live with the unconceivable boredom. There was only so much she could do and slowly, driving her insane. So Devnet made her decision. She stood on the window pane. She had taken time to think it over. If she made the jump without dying, she could live for once. Devnet was no ordinary girl living in a cruel world, she is qualified to fight against the things she is up against, and she's a young teen girl who needs to make sure her body is in tip top shape to do battle with invaders that are destructive. Devnet knows her chances of survival are slim and she may be losing hope. She could hear her teacher was then tries giving her some more hope, and reassuring her she can make it through. In one world those evil men may defeat her, they may finally kill her. This squad are destructive and malicious bastards. They are to kill and destroy. No positive things can be done by it. The people don’t believe Devnet will defeat and survive in the outcome, they don’t believe Devnet will make it, but her master still has faith in her and is telling her that she will remain strong. She remembered a terrible memory of her past: The flames were everywhere of their once beloved home, a little girl had tears in her eyes, “Mommy! Where are you, Mommy? I want to see Mommy!” The girl said. 

She was attempting to go in the inferno home until there was a huge eruption and the house exploded. There was a red, orange, and black big cloud. Tears streaming down the little girl’s face: “Mommmyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!” She screamed. The little girl sank to the ground and cried. Nobody knew that Devnet has hidden strengths that nobody is aware of. She can be herself when no one is around to judge her. She is taking things farther in this mission alone. She can clearly tell that this mission will want her to take things to the next level. In the past, she has something to lose. But now she feels like a super badass, like a female 007 that kicks ass way harder than all the guys out there. Because she is dangerous! Devnet might look like an innocent young girl, but she’s tough. Whether to stick to her old ways, playing with peoples emotions, killing people, and moving on; she feels like she's changed for some reason. Devnet causes trouble, she’s abrasive. She doesn’t care who gets in her way. Since Devnet doesn’t care who or what is in her way anymore, people fall for her constantly, but she kill people like it’s nothing to her. Something happened to Devnet....After she does what she has planned to do with it, will never be the same girl as she was before getting the gun, and doing any criminal actions with it. She shoves him off of her. However, he then physically assaults Devnet, first punching her in the back of her head before pushing her through the glass top of a coffee table. The man attempts to strangle Devnet, but she is able to break free, and gain enough time to locate bullets and a gun in a case. When he turns around to attack her again, Devnet shoots him in the head, causing his brains to be splattered on the wall. She then climbs out a window and down the fire escape. In a bit of bait-and-switch, it’s not Devnet who was found in the apartment, but the man that attacked her, whom she killed and ditched the body without any trace of fingerprints. That man is now reaping what he sowed. This man's name is Shane Turk. When she was little of her dark past; people inform her that her entire family was killed by outlaws, Devnet begins to feel sadness that is overriding all other emotions and possibly actions. The deaths of his family members is motivation to keep pursuing the ones that killed them. Praying just isn’t doing it for her, she feels that she needs revenge and she can’t look past her family being murdered. Then, as Devnet is skipping down the street; A child predator who her. As she descends into an underground area, he pulls out a cloth with chloroform. Just as he is about to attack, she screams and begins utilizing her militant-like martial arts and enhanced powers to beat the man. She raises him into the air with one hand and defeats him by slamming him against walls and shooting bullets into and through his body. Using a pen to add a pitch black mark to a tally on the pad of paer, adding another victim of her justice to the count. That man is Jedrick Fuller. Devnet has a boyfriend name Tyler Damhan, and they both were both in love. When their relationship began, everything seemed so wonderful and it seemed like nothing could go wrong. The relationship that began so well turned to crap, she should have seen it coming yet still can’t believe it happened. Devnet’s significant other has his own evils but these evils push the limits of those seen previously, she insinuates that this may be on par with or even worse than the devil himself. Someone such as Tyler who had physically abused Devnet seemingly loose his minds as he swings in rage. He is just going to stand there and watch her while she breaks down. Devnet has been a victim of domestic violence, possibly at the hands of her lover. Devnet has hidden her eye bruise well, presumably with makeup and she’s wearing a cheesy fake grin while joking around, pretending she’s okay. Her lover is a drinker, which is probably the reason he presumably hits her! Her lover apologizes to her by buying her jewelry. 

When she learns that Tyler was involved in the death of her parents; she was heartbroken! Now, she’s standing on a gravel country road by herself just waiting for her abusive lover to come home. He’s been caught for doing something wrong in the past, proving he isn’t a good person, possibly some kind of abuse. Devnet's boyfriend headed straight for hell is simple. Her boyfriend is a terrible person; when she kills him, he’ll obviously go to hell. It’s 10:30 and she’s drinking to get ready to kill her abusive partner, she can feel him pull in the driveway. This time she’s waiting for him with a shotgun. In the past he was able to get home and abuse her. He may think he’s big and bad cause he can punch hard but what’s a fist to bullet? Devnet's boyfriend beat her up with the pure power of his fists. “Don’t that sound like a real man?” she asks mockingly, as obviously, it doesn’t. She’s sick of his craziness, and is going to fight back. Even if he thinks she’s crazy, she isn’t. Yet. Even though she didn’t want to kill him, she was pushed so far by the horrible thing he did to her. She — in the heat of passion, anger, rage, sadness — couldn’t stop the emotions she was feeling to the point where she went out and she shot him. Devnet knows what she had done was wrong, and now she is constantly thinking about it. She has a guilty conscience. She needs to move on before someone finds out about this! At first it was first it was just what seemed like a small altercation nothing really to worry about. however because she failed to see how severe the situation was it evolved into a real problem that she could have avoided. "What has gotten into me? I killed this man. I wasn’t thinking the moment I shot.. Now the police are looking for me and I have to flee!" thought Devnet. She didn’t mean to hurt him and take him away from his loved ones. When she took her firearm out, she took his heartbeat away! She feels really bad for shooting someone down, and she looks back at her actions and regrets them so bad… What has she become? Obviously she killed a man. She probably did this by accident or on purpose. She doesn’t know what she’s going to do or where she is going to go after she shoots him. Tugging, crying at herself at thinking back at what she has done and now realizing she could face actions for her criminal actions namely killing a man. She out of town to where no one can find or recognize her. But she remembered to stay strong as she knew that he wasn't good enough for her anyway. Devnet thought about Patsy and her betrayal; she trusted her and thought something like this would never happen, their once valuable friendship has gone to ruins. Her so-called friend decided to weaken their bond between each other by attacking Devnat physically, mentally and emotionally where she is weak, unable to defend for herself. They were in a happy relationship before the problems between them started. Her friend’s unfruitful relationship left so many scars that they aren’t able to be cured by just moving on. Devnet wants revenge for the turmoil. Even though her ex-friend can forget about her cruel actions, almost as if it’s all forgive and forget; Devnet reminds her that she doesn’t seem to agree with that sentiment. Eventually, karma will take a nasty turn towards her friend. The way she treats people she claims to love is sickening. She doesn’t allow herself to be victimized, but getting straight to the point — she is mad and Devnet is really used to care about this person. They used to be good friends before their young, chill, real friendship of what Devnet and Patsy had together. Maybe it was naive of Devnet to assume they were friends. She should’ve clearly seen the warning signs. Devnet is clearly upset and thinks the betrayal was very childish. After mean actions by Devnet’s ex-friend, their friendship is irreparable. To her, the deed was too harsh and vindictive to be easily forgiven. Deep cuts leave scars and bring long lasting pain. Patsy’s actions will leave a permanent mark on her and will not be quickly forgotten! She killed her men because she had to get vengeance. Now that she has won and is looking back on what she has done she realizes she will be happy again but will never have her family back. After the day she had; Devnet sat there, working on her laptop. She was typing something there that said, "The materialism and typical 'sweet dreams' won’t lead to happiness....but then again, nothing leads to happiness. Unification of time and race;  I learn that there is a world full of sadists, masochists, but I want to be the one who is in control. Once I finish what I started, I wish to return to my normal life." Then she wrote a male's perspective, "There's no one like an exotic tart who had over-the-top street name of Lady Marmalade. Her skin that was the color of cafe au lait. The man that she met is waiting for her in her room, drinking wine as she changes into something more comfortable. Red Mill was a place for tarts and red light, so she’s saying that prostitutes are mainly about the money. Gold diggers wanting all the money out of this. If you don’t agree with her way of thinking and acting it’s your problem not hers. Lady Marmalade is going to play these people like it's game, the prostitutes at the Red Mill work hard at what they do, and therefore, the harder that they work, the more money that they get. The hours that the man works, his life is so very dull. Conservative and acceptable. Though he doesn’t remember her during the day, he will always remember how she made him want more whenever he sleeps. Those girls in lingerie whisper things like: 'Get your sugar daddy!' And the girls go up to their client and say, 'Hey Joe, would you like to be with me tonight?' But she doesn’t have to walk the streets as a tarts anymore; it’s in her past. There was no talk about screwing in it. The Red Light District which is where you can legally hire escorts, tarts, and girls of any choice. I loved her since he first bought her services, and I promise I won’t talk down to her or treat her like an object--Unlike those other men!  I'm jealous that she’s playing birdy-bee with other men, and I pledge to be faithful to her. I know hat this is the woman I want to be with, so I feel there is no need for her to put on layers of makeup when I've already made my decision that I want to be with her." The way she wrote it sounds suicidal as Devnet thought about taking her own life however she recalled her mother telling her to live. 

At a bar; Nelson leaves with the then unconscious Roxanne, takes her back to his house to takes pictures of her and later cuts off some of her hair for his shrine. Nelson then duct-tapes Roxanne and locks her in his closet; which she later escapes from. Then, Nelson attacks Roxanne after seeing her with another man. Roxanne unsuccessfully tries to bring him back after he attempts to pushes her onto the wall and aims his fist at her, puncturing the wall instead. Nelson then apologizes to Roxanne and everything was fine. The next day, Nelson attacks someone who was with Roxanne. In the bathroom; Roxanne locks herself in the bathroom to stop Nelson from entering. After that fight, Nelson is trying to stop her from packing her stuff in preparation to leave. Roxanne exits the bedroom with her bags, and as she reaches the stairway Nelson pleads with her to stay. Roxanne refuses and turns to leave. As she does so, she slips on some marbles on the floor and endures a rough fall down the stairs. The last thing she sees is Nelson coming towards her down the stairs, with an innocent expression on his face. Roxanne awakens, bruised and swollen in bed with Nelson, stitching up one of her wounds. Roxanne tries to grasp for the telephone at the bedside, only to have Nelson smash her knees with a golf club with an angry look of domestic violence towards her. Later, Nelson is preparing a salad, rapidly and angrily chopping the vegetables with a large knife. Roxanne awakens in bed, and attempts to sneak out through the door, but Nelson catches her at the doorway. He gives her a bewildered look while holding the bowl of salad. He breaks down in a rage and tries to hit her but resists as he lets her go. That night; Nelson finds Roxanne in the alleyway, with a client as she looks into oblivion. He is spying on them in his car. He doesn't get it, Nelson believes that these girls are forcing to be with these clients. He sees Roxanne later with Charlotte, Delilah, Maggie Mae, Lalena, and Madame Teresa. He charges at Roxanne and murders her in front of her friends! While killing her, he became overjoyed seeing her blood all over as the others scream in fright. And Roxanne laid there, dying. Then, Nelson stabbed Charlotte, and he turned to Delilah and ripped her heart out in order to show that she is his, the reason for him doing it in front of her was to make sure she knew that this was it. Maggie Mae and Lalena begin to cry over their bodies but Teresa told them not to weep for them: "I have an idea, I can bring them back to life." She said. In the nurse's office, Teresa reached for the syringe, she stuck the needle into the bottle and pull back the plunger. She had about more than 30 milligrams. It was too much, but this was no ordinary syringe--This would reanimate the girls back to life into the form of something called 'tennyo'. The being of a tennin are ethereal creature  are tall, radiant, angelic beings. They are guardians who are protecting and guiding human beings, and carrying out tasks. Female types called tennyos are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are usually depicted as beautiful, young nubile maidens who love to dance and sing; their amorous freedom sets them apart from the restricted and chaste women. Tennin can fly, a fact generally indicated in art by their colored or feathered kimonos and they are unable to fly without these kimonos. Tennyos may be beautiful, supernatural female beings but they are youthful and elegant. 

She injected the syringe into Roxanne, cleans the needle, and injects it into Charlotte. She repeats the same ritual before moving onto Delilah. Then, Madame Teresa waited with Maggie Mae and Lalena. Then, they could hear the girls are awakening from the dead and now they are seeking revenge. Taking upon her vengeance, she kills him in the same way that he killed her. After her vengeance upon him, he realizes that what he did was wrong. He tells her how sorry he is for what he had done. He understands that what he did was cruel because even though he was enjoying his life, she was in an abyss of nothingness. After coming back to life, Roxanne is enjoying taking her revenge against him. He feels guilty that he made her suffer through hell on earth. However, it's too late as she, Charlotte, and Deliliah butcher him! Nelson was right, he was completely out of it--deceased and unable to function. He is needed to be resurrected and the doctors are trying to get some sort of response out of his lifeless state. But he doesn’t respond to them trying to wake him because he's dead, one of Nelson's friends is trying to get more out of him even though that's stupidest thing ever done. So the doctor’s patter has a dual meeting — Nelson’s hurt goes a lot deeper, and is largely internal and emotional, not physical. The injection woke him up from the grave, but it won’t come without some side effects and the injection will remove the agonizing pain that his 'illness' causes him....How he became a zombie! Nelson is being administered meds in order to allow him to adjust properly and get him through the new life as an undead being. His heart is so polluted, that he is going to see everything tainted and his love for Roxanne will be avenged. He goes from seeing a world that's so bright and cheery but now he wants to paint it black, he wants everything to be black, for everyone, and by blotting out the sun, it is all over for every living thing, and he’ll get his revenge. He had been stalking Roxanne and her friends with people that they cared about and he decides to take them all away from them. It was on that day that Roxanne, Hyacinth, Sunniva, Bastia, Mateo, Olander 'Ollie', Tova, Deanna, Keisari, Fabiola, Antoinette, Valerian, and Felix were going to the coolest action film playing called The Black Prince Ascends. Roxanne was excited as she always wanted to see this movie so much! Now she's going with her friends to see this film for grad-bash before they part ways to their future coming. On that day, Roxanne and her twelve best friends got to the theater, got their tickets paid, bought snacks and drinks before heading inside the theater. The movie was just as awesome as everyone had said, except the prologue at the beginning; however the story line was great, the dialogue was well written and the scenes were top notched. Roxanne and her friends were enjoying the movie so much until she noticed Hyacinth and Sunniva were so snuggled together. Smiling; she was happy for them! Then, the climax of the movie is where someone came in! He wasn't a guard nor a janitor! He was dressed in a black uniform, he pulled out a gun and begin shooting! There was screams and chaos all around. Roxanne try to escape however she witnessed the horror around her and was too catatonic too move. It turns out, she was hit in the head so hard and fell unconscious but was alive. Finally when was over; the gunman escaped as he heard the police sirens. According to investigators; 56 victims were alive but in the hospital, recovering while there was 12 bodies dead. And those twelve are known as: Hyacinth Smith, Sunniva Rossi, Bastia Walker, Mateo Fritz, Olander 'Ollie' Mustermann, Tova Jansen, Deanna Stiles, Keisari Dupont, Fabiola Perez, Antoinette Lingens, Valerian Atkins, and Felix Nordmann. Roxanne was found by police, who question her and she becomes hysterical and flew into a frenzied of tears and screaming constantly like a madwoman before breaking down into tears. 

Charlotte took a job with being an assistant for the children. She worked with the children, who love her very much. The kids were: Alice Smith, Bob Mustermann, Craig Anders, Dane Jansen, Erin Perez, Faythe Rossi, Paul Atkins, Sam Dupont, Thomas Ivanovich, Walter Fritz, and Sally Nordmann. The teachers and teaching assistants adore Charlotte too; their names are Erica Stiles, Rudelle 'Rudi' Lingens, Juana deCruz, and Maira Major--Even Principal Andrea Walker likes her too! The elementary mornings go like this: There is prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, sing along, they have to do work, and one of the students have learning therapy. Then they go out for P.E., the children finally come back to go to the bathroom, a little break of snack before going back to class, and have lunch. In the afternoons; the children music, and they go outside to play. The kids in the middle school have a different lesson in class: then they go back to do their work, and finally they have lunch. They have music or some of them are having physical or learning therapy. And lastly they go home. Things got more frightened when a young, eccentric man name Saphir Norman, who is bored of the sentimental normality of his life. When he first met Charlotte; Saphir hasn’t fallen for a girl in a while, and he hooked on her. The tingle he gets in his makes him feel alive! He’s feeling awfully amorous. He writes letters to claim his love for her. But Charlotte was flattered until she is disturbed to find Saphir has an insatiable interest in Charlotte and try to advance her while declaring his love for her. Charlotte laughed, however Saphir could not stop flirting and trying to make more intimate moves. Charlotte refused him and Saphir became violent, until the teachers and assistants told him to stop pestering her. Saphir was screaming: "WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME?!" As Lingens and Major calmed him down, Principal Walker apologized for this and promise to make it up to her. Charlotte thanked her. Then, Saphir came across Nelson and sought help so Nelson advises him to take away the one thing that matters to them. And Saphir got someone and manipulate him to kill the children and that person's mother. It was the next day when Charlotte got a text on her phone that said, "IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU, NOBODY CAN!!! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A TEACHER'S PET AND A PRINCIPAL'S LAP DOG!!!! JUST WAIT, I HAVE A SPECIAL SURPRISE FOR YOU!!!!" Entering inside the school; Charlotte looked in one of the classrooms to see the children having dinner but it ends up badly as she watched in horror as one of them choked to death as the other kids watch in horror. The nine kids couldn't sleep of what they saw but they finally went to sleep and one of them was found with their throat torn open. The eight couldn't stay in each of the rooms however one of them didn't believe there was something wrong here and decided to sleep but he never came out of his room. Seven waited, while they wait; they cut up some fruits and vegetables. One of them cut his hands by accident and bled to death. Now there were six of them as they were trying to probe a beehive. But one of them got stung by a lot of bees and he drowned into the river for he couldn't swim. Five left as they got lost in the woods but one of them caught by a hermit as he was never seen again. Now, four went by the sea as a whale came and swallowed one of them. Three went to another forest which was forbidden and was mauled by a bear. Two were lost and no place to go, they were dehydrated and try to find water. One of them died from lack of thirst and one was left. But in his devastation; the last threw himself off a cliff, and then there were none. Charlotte was so scared, she couldn't believe this was happening. She heard something was coming and she hid in the closet. She had to stay quiet, Charlotte didn't want to be found out. That's when the person enters and Charlotte couldn't believe who it was: Ogma Leupold! He looked around as he saw the massacre. Charlotte covered her mouth to keep her from breathing, "He killed them?! Those deadly traps, it was all him!" She thought. Then, she heard a gun go off and something fell. Charlotte was too scared but she peeked out from the door and gasped. Ogma laid on the floor, a gun was beside him as he laid there motionless. "He...shot himself?!" thought Charlotte. She rushed out, eyes blurred with tears as she couldn't believe this was happening. And she feared guns because of what happened to Ogma. However she stopped by the exit to see someone was sitting at the table motionless and Charlotte let out a scream, it was Danica's body. She had been killed by her own son! Turning the knob of the door, Charlotte rushed out in a variety of emotions: Fear and sadness. 

Meanwhile; Maggie Mae had to get into the mall but Nelson got a shooter to take his friends and cause trouble while also taking hostages. The mall was huge and big, escalators all around and shops that surround her. Above her was a large skylight, shaped like a hexagon and made the mall inside bright like heaven was shining down, a sign to say it was going to be a good day. As she was walking, she noticed something was up when she passed the entrance and only about more than a few gunmen came in and that's when it all began! A shooting, shots were everywhere. Maggie Mae was so scared so she ducked into one of the booths, pretending to be dead so they wouldn't find her. It was oh so quiet that she could hear the cheerful music playing overhead and she passed out in the silence until she felt someone beside him, "Poor sweet girl...." said a man's voice. She looked up, "Help me..." She whimpered. The man was surprised that she was still alive and helped her up. She and other survivors got out of there but she was in tears at what she saw. She heard that there were more people being held hostage. And Nelson got some guys together and create a bomb and plant it in the building on the day of the marathon. The trap is simple: There is, in a small national park somewhere which is a running path. This path is hardly unusual: it is roughly twelve miles long, and makes a circuit around a small lake. Most of the path is wooded, and it is regarded by the locals as a beautiful little place to take a breather and catch some peace and quiet. People who jog along the path observe nothing out of the ordinary. Before they cross the finish line, the bomb will go off! In the meantime; Lalena was running so much that her jogging came to a stop on the side of the path. Standing astride it, she drank eagerly from her water bottle. Wiping her mouth on her arm, Lalena put the bottle back and was about to run, when someone ran up besider her. "Nice day, eh?" The young man said. He was tall and thin, and wore a hooded grey sweatshirt and black running pants. His face was concealed the sunglasses and the hood which hid his face. Lalena saw nothing unusual about this. "Yeah. It’s perfect out." She remarked. The young man nodded. "Wait 'til the climax, there's gonna be fireworks!" He said, he ran off and was gone. Lalena was confused but shrugged it off. She kept on running, maybe she could see she could get through this marathon soon enough. Before the runners, crossed the finished line; A bomb went off in the city. The bomb was the biggest she’d ever seen. Lalena saw a flash of blue light, she couldn't believe this was happening! Everything was covered ashes, and made the streets look like an ashen desert, almost lifeless and hazy. No signs of anyone could be seen, smoke and piles of debris were scattering all over the city. Only about two hundred and sixty-four people were treated at twenty-seven local hospitals. Eleven days later, only twenty-nine remained hospitalized, one in critical condition. Many victims had lower leg injuries and shrapnel wounds, which indicated the devices were low to the ground. At least sixteen people lost limbs, at the scene or by amputation in a hospital, and three lost more than one limb. There were three spectators that were killed: Abisha, Jessamine, Cain, and Officer Benito. Those were friends of Lalena's as she was emotional about their deaths. She will always remember them because they helped her a lot in the struggling times with her job and life. In the meantime, Delilah worked at a charity fair when she came across three families who helped her out. The families were The Harris Family--David, Harriett, and Dewey. The Dixon Family--Eric, Jasmine, Haverine, and Chester. And The Tavish Family--Hank, Jocelyn, Chelsea, Joey, and Howie. Dewey Harris, Chester Dixon and Howie Tavish were successful high school seniors that have plans for their futures. Their coach, Ichabod McGuffin, is the one who is helping Delilah with the charity fair. Ichabod was good to Delilah, like a friend, and Delilah knows him as well as his middle aged mother name Finella. Nice people they were and they were very dear to Delilah! But there was a day that turned for the worst. Indeed, Nelson got a friend name Isidore 'Izzy' Levant to take the lives of three boys: Dewey, Chester Dixon, and Howie Tavish, from which they died from their wounds. Izzy, who was serving three life sentences for a notorious high school shooting spree, escaped from a prison but was later taken back into custody. The school shooter likely got up in the middle of the night before his sentencing to scrawl the word "butcher them all" across a prison T-shirt, a brazen move that shocked his attorney, victims' families and even the judge. After the convicted killer arrived in court for his sentencing hearing, he unbuttoned his blue button down shirt to reveal the T-shirt. There were gasps in the courtroom. Shortly after, Izzy spewed vile and unprintable words at the families of three students he killed and then laughed and smiled as they described him as an animal and a monster. Then, he also escaped and nowhere in sight however Izzy and Nelson team up in black clad outfits as they held three men hostage. They made a video of themselves holding a knife then says the execution is in retaliation for his girlfriend's 'betrayal'. It then cuts away to show a man name Ichabod McGuffin kneeling next to a man who experts say appears to be the same militant who featured in the videos showing the deaths of two other men. In his speech, which seems to have been made under duress, the hostage says: "My name is Ichabod McGuffin. I would like to declare that I hold you, Dear Delilah, entirely responsible for my execution." The family of aid worker McGuffin who is being held hostage by the militants in a doomed world has urged his captors to contact them: "We are the family of Ichabod McGuffin. We have sent messages to you to which we have not received a reply. We are asking those holding Joe to make contact with us. We ask you to please release him and let him come home." But they took no heed and killed him, dismember his head! Delilah was shocked, she turned away but only a few tears streamed down her face. She wept for poor Ichabod, his family was also in hysterics. Once the Moneta ended; the girls were in great shock over this! They would get back at him--One way or another. 

For the time being; Devnet was walking in the woods one day when she came across a house and went inside, however she stumbles upon a dark, dark woods. Shee entered the woods and hiked in there. She was a little frightened but he put his best foot forward. Into the woods, she saw a big house. It was a 13 story manor, Devnet had never seen a house like this! She saw a cupboard in the kitchen but out came the wind. Napoleon jumped, this place was getting creepier and creepier for her, he has no idea where she is. Just then, a voice within this house made him shivered. "Who will stay with me on this cold and lonely night? Mi ti doughty walker...Leechee, kinchee, colly, molly, dingle dingle!" Napoleon called back, "Who are you? Where are you? Who's got my money, who has it? Whooooooooo?"" Terrified; Devnet backed away, but she almost ran into something and heard the voice in her ear, "Who is in my house?" She then turned around and saw a grotesque face with bulging eyes and messy hair. "YOOUUUUUUUUUUUU!" The monster cried. Devnet let out a scream, "AAHHHH!" However the monster laugh and pulled the mask off to reveal a girl was being the monster. "Did I scared you?" The girl asked with a grin on her face. Devnet gasped in amazement, this wasn't real...It just couldn't be, could it? But it was real. "Hilary, is that you?" gasped Devnet, tears brimming in her eys. "Dear Sister, it's so good to see you again." said the girl, laughing and embracing Devnet. But she wasn't alone, three other girls came out from hiding and Devnet was happy to see them! They were all here: Estella, Cheryl, and Solena. And this eerie mansion was their home! Devnet was nervous as she glances at Hilary but she just giggles and then she leads Devnet by the hand and said, "C'mon. I'll show you around." Devnet had a good time seeing the house and spending time with her sisters however she noticed that her mother was nowhere in sight. And also, she noticed that her sisters were wearing strange clothes of such colors: Hilary wore a long-sleeved red dress that reached to her knees.Estella was dressed in a white, short-sleeved dress. Cheryl was in a purple dress with a collar while showing only about two inches of skin above her knee. And Solena was in a pink sheath velvet dress with adelicately gathered seams that supports her chest and there was hints of blood red to it. Devnet thought it was strange but didn't think there was anything unusual about it, nevertheless she saw her family once again. One day; Devnet was in the guest room and noticed that her sisters were nowhere around the house. She thought they were out somewhere but she was wrong. The sisters were not out somewhere, they were out on a spree: Hilary strangled a 4-year-old boy to death on the day before her birthday. She was believed to have killed the boy, Bertilo Fjalarr, all on her own, but she and a friend would later vandalize a local nursery and make claims to the murder. Mary and her friend would strangle another boy to death — this time a 3-year-old. After killing the boy and stashing his body in the woods, Hilary returned and carved an H into his stomach. She then cut off bits of his hair as though he were some sort of doll, and mutilated him. Later, Estella and Solena took another boy on a mile walk to a semi-secluded area, along some railroad tracks by an old cemetery. That’s where the two girls killed the boy. They threw paint into his left eye, hit him with bricks, beat him with an iron bar, and beat him so severely that he was no longer breathing, the sisters laid the boy out across the train tracks and weighed him down so that he couldn’t move, hoping that a train would come and cut him in half. A minute later; Cheryl had toyed with the notion of killing two brothers, and had even posted images with captions extolling the pleasures in watching them suffer as she played dangerous pranks on them. Finally, the four sisters then knocked on a door and were greeted by an elderly woman, who seeing two young teen girls let them in without hesitation in the hopes that she’d have a nice conversation over tea. They did sat chatting with her but then they turned violent and dropped all pretenses. Solena grabbed the old woman by the neck and held her, while Cheryl found a butcher’s knife in the kitchen and tossed it to her. Solena then began to stab the woman, and continued stabbing her while the old lady pleaded for her life as Hilary and Estella held each other while laughing. The sisters ran away like lunatics that they want to do it again because the feeling of killing gave them a good vibration of arousal to violence. 

They begin to sing: "Love awaits you, love awaits you! And dream away, yes dream in combat, and may love awaits you, love awaits you!" The sisters were still singing that song again and got home as Devnet ask them where they've been. The sisters lied brightly, "Out for a walk, dear sister." Devnet asked if they were hungry, and the sisters agree. While having lunch; Devnet begins to look frightened as her sisters were eating fast on the meat they were having. Barbecued meat with sauce, making it look like zombies were out to lunch for human parts. Devnet didn't eat much, she pushed her plate away and noticed her sisters' faces were covered of red all over them. They looked ravenous, Devnet managed to smile and give a little laugh: "Wow! You girls sure are hungry." She commented. "Indeed, sister. Eating meat is like violence and blood all over the place, I can get enough! It's like you're actually killing someone." Estella remarked. Devnet's smile faded, that comment made her feel a bit sick just thinking about it. After lunch; Devnet and her sisters went back as they spend a good time with one another as the comment at lunch Estella faded from existence. Then, one day, Devnet look out the window of the guest room to see the sisters brought a woman who was concealed in sheets and cloths so she couldn't see but the woman looked thin, pale, and had no shoes on her feet. She was carefully brought into the shed and the sisters closed it. Nothing more came from it until Devnet asked them about the woman she saw. Her sisters pretend to be confused and Hilary blurted out, "Oh! She's a homeless woman...Found on the street." Devnet nodded, "I see. That's nice of you girls to take someone homeless in, being on the streets and other places in the cities can get cold. Maybe I can bring her food or something." She answered. "No, we'll bring it to her." Solena said, "She doesn't like people too much." Devnet accepted and she noticed her sisters weren't around again. She decided to clean the mansion for a bit: Devnet dusted, she vaccumed, she mopped, she cleaned, she scrubbed, and polished until everything was sparkling and spotless. She was proud as she waited for her sisters to come home, she then decided to make dinner and made the girls some chili, she put in beef and vegetables--tomatos, onions, garlic, and non-spicy peppers. When the sisters came home; they were happy to hear chili was being made and then finally done, Devnet served her sisters while getting along with them as they ate their chili. The next day, Devnet didn't see her sisters and decided to clean again until she thought about the woman in the shed. She decided to make something nice to eat for the woman so she decides to make her cereal, toast with jam, milk, and juice as she carefully carried the tray of breakfast to the shed. She knocked it, "Excuse me, miss, I brought you something to eat." Devnet replied. No response however Devnet opened the shed door and brought the breakfast in. The woman was concealed in her sheets and cloaks, she took the breakfast and ate a little but when she took off the sheets, Devnet's pleasance faded and she stared at the woman in terror. She took one look and let out a gasp. Sitting in the shed was a woman with long black hair that reached to her thighs, almost to her ankles. She wore a long white dress, her eyes were orange-amber that glowed as if alive, and her skin was ivory. But there was one problem with her, she too thin--Almost skin and bones. She looked like emaciated patient who was malnourished and her face was gaunt. The woman looked scared for a moment but looked at Devnet and said in a soft voice, "Devnet...Is that you?" "Who are you? How did you know my name?" asked Devnet, frightened. "You don't recognize me? Come and give your mother dearest a hug." The woman said softly. Devnet gasped: "Mom?" She couldn't believe it, this malnourished woman is her mother. "You're Carmeta Winstead, you're my mother?" Devenet asked. "That's right, my dear." Carmeta said. She begins to tell her story of her past: Her mother Cecilia began taking her anger out on Carmeta, beating them with paddles. Cecilia soon focused her abuse exclusively on Carmeta, accusing her of stealing candy that she had bought from a grocery store, and humiliating her when she admitted that she once had a boyfriend. Cecilia encouraged a boy name Peyton Lucan and other neighborhood children to torment Carmeta, including, among other things, extinguishing cigarettes on her skin, beating her, tying her up, burning her with scalding water, rubbing salt in her wounds, and leave her.  She was locked in the cellar and forbidden leave the house. Carmeta attempted to escape the night after overhearing Cecilia's plan to blindfold and dump her in a wooded area nearby, but as she reached the front door, Cecilia caught her and punished her by tying her up in the basement and giving her only crackers to eat. There was so many multiple beatings, burnings, and scalding baths. For years, Cecilia abused and tortured Carmeta in various ways including burning them with cigarettes, throwing knives at them, forced feedings and beatings. She made her children hold each other down while she beat and tortured them. In one instance, she held a pistol to Carmeta's head and threatened to kill her. Cecilia primarily focused her anger and abuse on Carmeta. Her mother resented Carmeta, which she was maturing and blossoming into an attractive young woman while she faced the prospect of growing old and losing her looks. Cecilia also believed that her ex husband had turned Carmeta into a witch. Because of this belief, Carmeta received the worst of Cecilia's abuse. Cecilia became convinced that Carmeta was casting spells on her and shot Carmeta in the chest with a pistol. The bullet became lodged in her back, but Cecilia refused to allow Carmeta to seek medical attention and left her to die in the family bathtub. Carmeta survived so Cecilia began to nurse her back to health. Carmeta eventually recovered without receiving professional medical treatment. Cecilia beat her, tied her and locked her in a hot closet with no ventilation. Cecilia forbade her to have food or water or to open the door to the closet. But in her teens, it gets even worse: One night as she was trying to get home; Carmeta decided to take a 10 minute shortcut to her when they encountered gang members drinking beer after holding a gang initiation. The gang members captured and beat her repeatedly. Then, the members attempt to strangled her to death. The leader of that gang was Peyton Lucan, and the others was Shane Turk, Jedrick Fuller, and Tyler Damhan. Since the last night beating; Cecilia blamed Carmeta for everything and she sold her to the soldiers. All of a sudden; Carmeta was kidnapped and fertilized as she gave birth to five daughters. But her daughters were taken from her and she was devastated. But then, she was given terrifying powers that left her thin as she begins to feel much more dark. After she got out; Carmeta was a suicidal, depressed, misunderstood, tragic, abused and tortured girl who only wanted empathy and love. She use to feel lost, and does not know which path to go, there’s nothing that anyone could do for her. It seems that every day there’s a new reason to cry about, and eventually the problems stack so high that Carmeta can’t take it anymore. Carmeta's been broken so bad that she is lost and trying to find herself again, she never shows her feelings she keeps them inside. Her life is a series of constant failures, she is spread out too thin, being all over the place. As she was broken by some sort of rejection, and now can’t return to the state of stability, or even sanity, she might just fade away. After dealing what happened; Carmeta just went insane. She had befriend other girls however they betray her. One day during a drill; her so-called friends moved over to where Carmeta was standing, near a drain, and begin to crowd the poor girl, getting in her face and nudging her towards the open manhole. hey pushed her and she tripped over and fell head-first down the manhole. 

When they saw her falling, the girls started giggling and when Carmeta's name was called out, they shouted "She’s down in the sewer!" All of the other students began laughing. But when the teachers looked down the manhole and saw Carmeta's body lying at the bottom in the muck, the laughter abruptly stopped. Her head was twisted around at an odd angle and her face was covered in blood. Worse still, she wasn’t moving. There was nothing any of the teachers could do for her. Carmeta was dead. When the police arrived and went down into the sewer, they determined that she had broken her neck. Her face had been torn off when she hit the ladder on the way down and her neck snapped when she landed on her head on the concrete at the bottom. Then, a few minutes, her head turned back into place. As she lied in her own blood, She turned to the horrified crowd and smiled: "Don't cry, I'm okay." Carmeta then got up and walked off, not bothered by her blood-stained clothes. She found her daughters and showed the four of her memories, this caused the sisters went crazy and became murderous, creepy little girls. Then, Carmeta went to Young Devnet and told her to get away because she was being hunted down. Devnet begs her not to go however Carmeta told her to live. And a tearful, scared Devnet ran! Just then, she came across a party where her attackers were and then she shouted at them: "I WILL NOT REST UNTIL ALL OF YOU ARE DEAD!!! MY CHILDREN WILL MURDER YOU!!" Her powers scared everyone as this is where she chants a curse upon the town: "Cum harkens ad haec tu multum maledictus quia peccavit. Tuam lumbi vis adolebit cum igneus passionem. Exsecratio durabit septem diebus et septem noctibus. Non potest clamatis dolore. Didici haec facies tua lectio, tu ne molestus mihi." Then she said, "You, who have wronged me in the deepest way, may this fate be put upon. May you suffer as I've suffered. I will have my vengeance. As I will, pain and suffering go to the until you are nice to me.but for now you burn and toss and turn. if you are nice to me maybe i will set you free from this curse indeed, so mote it be." And then, she vanished. The one spell she chanted in Latin is translated as, "And that thou, with many curses for that he sinned when he harkens to. Your body will burn with the fire of his passion. Curse of will last for seven days and seven nights. He can scream in pain. I have learned the reading of these things on your face, you do not bother me." 


When she finished; Devnet was shocked to hear this as she looked at her mother but she recalled the wise man's words echoing in her head: "....your mother and sisters are alive....It's just...They're not the family you know now, they've changed a lot......some strange things going on around here and I'm not talking about the monsters.......this whole town is cursed with every grime and pain that people caused to your family. The first was your mother, then your sisters." And Devnet was too shocked to say anything, for she knew her family has become dark and sinister for the pain they came across.
