Brave New Girl's World--Chapter 1

This is a new story I've always wanted to work on, it's like going back to my childhood and coming up with these stories like I did as a kid. But I decided to put on a little spin on things with this story, adding a bit of young adult element in it but also it will be toned down of anything else. --KatDon

Chapter 1: Brave New World, Brave New Girl

Singer songwriter Juliet 'Gilla' Dowan is famous with awesome songs and how she's so passionate and hard working when making her music. Her CDs while also not letting others do her work for her because it wouldn't satisfy her enough. Today was the day that Gilla's first music video was premiering: The music video starts off with Gilla arriving at her embassy. Gilla caused havoc by playing loud music, jumping on the bed, and putting on makeup. She is uneasy of the supper meals like snails, frog legs, and goose liver. In this new destination, Gilla explored all the museums and all the places. But she stumbles across a photo shoot and meets a beautiful but nice model. They become friends as Gilla and the model go shopping. They have lunch and attend a dance. Gilla and the model meet two good looking guys, they dance with them. There are scenes of Gilla performing on stage with her band. The second music video shows where Gilla is at her apartment with a kangaroo. She is seen fishing, scuba diving, and shopping. It is hinted that she is in a witness protection program where she is being pursued by bad guys but she had enough so she sets up traps for them. The plan works; she ties them up and tortures them with girlie things. Gilla is faced with tougher guys at the beach but she fends them off and is honored as a hero. She is seen with a boy, her love interest as assumed, and they danced. There are several shots of Gilla singing live and of her crowd surfing. The second new music video starts off with Gilla waiting for her lover by the gate. There are flashbacks featured of how Gilla and her lover first met. Their rivalry, which involves with the two of them struggling to admit their feelings to one another. One day, they actually admitted their feelings to each other and shared a kiss. They go on a date in a boat. But her lover's father disapproves of this and forbids him to see her so they plan to eloped. In the present; Gilla is still waiting, thinking that her lover stood her up and was about to leave when she sees him walking towards her. She runs to him as they tenderly embrace each other. Some segments in the video show of Gilla singing in different places like the clock tower and a bridge. The music video begins with Gilla packing her things and tearfully hugging her friends before she turns her back on them for her journey ahead of her. It changes to years later where Gilla returns and reunites with her friends. But she is surprised by how things have changed since she has been gone. Some of her friends have drifted apart from her but others still remained close. There are various scenes of Gilla and her friends going to places, going crazy in a silly way, laughing, and having a good time. In some scenes shows Gilla playing the guitar, singing in her room, and looking out her window. One week later, Gilla's started to record her music video: The music video starts off in an Old Western era where two men are waiting for their opponent to show up in a ghost town. There was an eerie feeling in the air, and the two men turn to see that their opponent, Gilla, was standing in their direction. She was wearing a sexy cowgirl. She steps forward to them, cocked her hips as she had her rifle and then the shooting begins. Then, it ends with Gilla defeating them both. The music video is a Mobile Suit Gundam Wing theme. It re-makes the relationship of Heero Yuy and Relena Peacecraft. A teen girl found a boy lying on the beach. The boy woke up with a start and is about to attempt suicide but fails as he escapes. The second scene shows of the girl giving him an envelope, which the boy rips it up into pieces. The girl is saddened however the boy wipes her tears away but he leans beside her, vowing to kill her. The girl wonders why but one day, she confronts the boy however she is held at gunpoint. The boy cannot bring himself to pull the trigger. The next scene shows the boy fighting in war in his giant robot but he falls defeated as he thought of the girl before passing out. The boy wakes up to see the girl sitting beside him, she smiles at him before she gets up and walks away. The boy watches her go, wondering why can't he kill her. Abby appears in some scenes of her on the roof of a hotel by the pool, walking on the beach, and swimming in the ocean. In the music video; Gilla is running to find her lover, she finally finds him but he has his back towards her. Flashbacks show that they were once a happy couple but somehow the guy becomes depressed and has been doing bad things, such as drinking and stealing. Gilla is hurt, confused. That's when she found a paper with writing, a letter as it seems, and reads it. But she is shocked to see what she had read. She drops it and rushes out. Gilla is seen talking to her lover, who still has his back to her. The climax shows that her lover falls backwards, his face is buried in her neck as he cries in it. Later, the boy is recovering at the hospital; Gilla holds her lover's hand as she smiled hopefully. In the video, Gilla is seen at a neon themed arcade/tavern. Gilla's next music video which was influenced by books such as Sheila Rae the Brave, Arthur's Reading Race, The Cat in the Hat, and Green Eggs & Ham: The music video opens up to Gilla kissing a spider before smiling at the camera. The second scene shows her walking downtown of different places--The zoo, the gas station, the bank, the park, and outside of an ice cream shop. She walks passed a taxi, walk towards a school where kids are playing hopscotch. There are many other shots of Gilla eating cherries in a diabolical way and then laughing, she ties up a bully to a fence with a jump rope for taking the girls' rope as the children cheered. She is also seen riding her bike and then lets go as she spread her arms out; the feeling of freedom. Gilla begin to do cartwheels flawlessly, she stepped on cracks, walk backwards, scaring dogs and cats, and going up in a tree. More shots of her with a replica of two eggs with green yolks and a green ham. She is wearing a red and white striped top hat. She is seen wearing a sweater that says 'Thing One and Thing 2'. She is flying a kite in a house, while wearing a dress with pink, red, and white dots on the dress. She has a cup, cake, and a fish in a bowl balanced on a big platter. A girl by the name of Briar Morgan watched her and rocked out by how awesome Gilla is, hoe she's being herself and also how she is being herself and not something else. And that's what Briar wants to  be  but nobody know who she is anyway.

Previously.....

One week later; Alec, Dorian, Gwynn, Phoebus, and Corey take down the zombies with Marian alongside them. In the meantime, Once the gang took care of the zombies; they went inside but when they got in, they were surprised to find that it looked like a normal room, than a dark and damp cave. “This is the Sleeping Princess’s chamber? Is the treasure inside?” asked Marian. Phoebus nodded, “Yes, we’re getting closer. I can feel it.” He was right, they were getting closer. Gwynn looked around to see flowers, there was archer of flowers. “Look at these flowers, they represent something of a funeral.” He remarked. “It almost looks like a memorial site.” noted Marian. The others walked through the archer; they were surprised to find that the so-called treasure was a white coffin. Gold on the side, painted flowers on the front. “This is the strangest treasure chest I have ever seen.” noted Gwynn. “Do you think a dead body is in there?” asked Dorian. Marian grimaced, “Oh gross…” She said. Phoebus looks around, “Where’s the key?” She asked. Corey looked around as well, he saw something shimmer in the flowers, and she reaches in and pulls out the silver object. “Got it, it’s here.” He took the key, she place it in the lock of the casket and turns it before the lid snaps open. Something glowed inside. When they look inside; they gasped in amazement, in this casket was a young girl. Blonde haired, fair skin, petite hands, small feet, and she wore a lavender dress with whitish purple shoes. But she had an amazing beauty to her. “She’s beautiful.” breathed Dorian. “I never seen anyone as young as her.” said Gwynn. “She looks like an angel.” said Marian. Alec grazed her cheek, his hand went behind her head and he felt something in her head. “What is this? A hairpin?” He leaned over to the girl but heard her breathing. Alec pulled away, he put two fingers on the unconscious girl’s throat. He gasped with fear. “Guys…She’s alive!” He said. The others are in dazed. “What?” asked Marian, her eyes widened. "How long she’s been in here?” inquired Corey. “I’m not sure but I’m going to try and pull it out.” said Gwynn, he carefully pulled the pin from her head. Suddenly, to both of their surprise, the girl’s head wound closed up--making a squishy sound. The girl woke up. She sat up, clutching her head.  “Are you OK?” asked Gwynn. The girl jumped. She backs away fearfully. “Sorry, we didn’t mean to scare you.” Dorian assured her. “Who are you people?”  The girl asked. “We’re good people.” Marian replied. “What’s your name, sweetheart?” asked Phoebus. The girl replied shyly, “Briar.” “Do you have a last name?” Corey asked. “I don’t remember.” said Briar said, sadly. “What about your parents? How old are you?” asked Marian. “I don’t know! I don’t remember anything!” cried Briar. She looks away from the surprised faces, “I’m sorry.” She whispered. Alec gingerly carried her, “C’mon. Let’s get you out of here.” He said. The boys, Marian, and the mysterious girl walked out of the cave. But the zombies appeared to ambush them, Briar gasped, clutching onto Samael tightly and hid her face. They managed to get her back safe and sound so she can rest. And she did in a different building. In the meantime at a hotel; Briar looked over at the skyline and saw a beautiful sunrise. "Wow. It looks like it's going to be a great day." murmured Briar. She saw people walking by the beach but she saw something strange along the shore. It looked like a body however from the distance she was at; it was hard to tell. Briar left the balcony and went down to the beach. She went over to the body, which was a young man: He looked like 15 to 17 years of age, dark brown hair, and he was a good looking boy there. "A boy? How--" Briar wondered. She puts her ear to his chest, Briar listened for a moment, and then she gasped. This boy was alive, much to her amazement, this lovely creature was still breathing! "Impossible, no boy such as he would ever survive by himself." Briar thought. Gingerly; She placed her hands on his shoulders and shook him gently. "Hey, boy? Are you OK? Please, wake up?" chided Briar, softly. The boy stirred in his sleep and moaned, then he opened his eyes. My, what beautiful eyes he had--Blue green magnetic pools of those pupils. He saw Briar, startled he sat up. "You--you saw me here?" He asked, stammering. "Oh, of course." Briar replied. "I saw you lying there, I thought for a second you were dead." The boy panicked, he pulled out a knife, he aimed at his heart and prepared to kill himself. "NO!!!!" Briar cried, she seized his wrist as she struggled the knife away from him. The boy didn't have the energy to fight back, he looked weary and exhausted. Well, for someone who washed up on shore; he didn't look so good. Briar seemed upset, "What in the hell would you try to kill yourself like that? Don't you know what life has in store for you? Don't do this to yourself, please!" She ranted but stopped as she had no point in talking to the boy. The boy stare at her with a stoic look, then he stood up and ran off. Briar watched him go, she wondered of his erratic behavior. "Who was that boy?" Briar thought. Suspicious of the criminals being burnt alive and unsolved mysteries to how criminals are punished for their remorseless and wicked deeds. Briar was getting dubious by the minute; she believes that the snide, bravado, and elusive rich boy 18 year old Seth Jace is behind all this. She wasn't sure what was going on but she was going to find out. However, she encountered Seth's younger brother name Isadore. "I'm sorry, my brother is unavailable. If you want, I can set up an appointment for another time..." Isadore explained. Isadore was Seth's little brother and assistant to a group called Tsunami, they have been close ever since childhood. But the difference between them is Isadore was much nicer than his jerk off big brother. "Isadore, I am not leaving, I like to make one measly complaint with the burnt up criminals and how they are burnt alive that way. There is something going on and I like to know what it is." demanded Briar. Isadore sighed, he ran his fingers through his hair. "Look, this isn't a good time. My brother had suffered a mental breakdown and needs his rest. I apologize." He explained. Briar has no choice but to accept defeat; she let out a sigh. "Damn." She thought. Briar exhaled, "Fine then." She said, "But when he wakes up and all better, tell him this--My team and I are on his tail and we are observing him very closely. If he is responsible for burning those criminals alive, there won't be any mercy from anyone of us."  Isadore nodded, "Sure thing. I'll tell him that when he wakes up." He said.

Briar looked like she was leaving but she sneaked to the staircase. "Sorry, Seth. But I'm not leaving until I get some answers." She thought. Briar went up the stairs, that went to the rooftop. She couldn't help but feel paranoid, "Do I ever get the feeling I'm being followed?" She thought. Realizing what she was thinking; Briar brushed this off by laughing it off. "Ha, stupid." She mumbled. Briar reached the rooftop and looked over at the skyline. "There's nobody here. Weird!" She thought. Then, she heard a scritch-scratch sound behind her. Slowly; she turned around. "H--Hello?" She called. Nobody answered, but there was that sound again. And it was getting closer. Briar pulled out her gun, ready to use it. "Come on out, I don't know who you are but I know you're out there." She warned. Suddenly, there it was--It was a monster, which resembled something inhuman. It had horned wings on its back, and bared its fangs. It snarled at the horrified Briar. "Good Lord! What is that abomination? I never seen anything like it." She breathed. The creature pounced Briar, it growled and snarled more. Blood dripped from its mouth. Its eyes glowed of red. But the rabbit creature cried out in pain and fell to the floor dead. Trembling yet relieved; Briar examined the dead monster bunny. Just then, she felt a shadow upon her. She looked up to see that it was the same boy she saw at the shore. "It's you." Briar gasped. She gets up and faced him. "What are you doing here? Are you involved with Seth? Just tell me, who are you? Really?" Briar asked. The boy looked at her apathetically before pulling out a gun. "Sorry." He said, "Time to say goodbye." Briar looked at him, terrified. The boy looked at her face, somehow she reminds him of someone he once knew. He then saw a vision of a girl with blonde hair. Pretty baby blue eyes. And she wore white and blue clothes with a hint of transparent clothing of sash and sleeves of the outfit. "Samael, I beg of you. Please, save--" She said with plea. The boy, Alec, trembled as be begin to clutch his head. "No, sis I--Clara." He muttered as he lowered his gun. "Clara, I'll never let you die. Don't die..." Briar looked at him with concern, "Hey, are you OK? You look unwell. Can I get you a drink of water or something to eat?" She asked. Alec took a step back, "Please. Stay away, stay back. I--" He muttered. Flashback etched in his mind of him as a young boy and the beautiful Ariel smiling at him. Samael, in reality, was so in devastation. "Clara..." He whispered. Then, Alec nearly fell on his face but Briar caught him in his arms. "Who in the world is Clara?" She thought. Later, Isadore had saw Briar sneaking around and helped her out. Now Briar is with the mysterious yet pretty young fellow. Isadore turned to her and asked, "Miss Morgan? You seem to know him." Briar nodded, "I found him on the shore of the beach. Tell me, who is the beautiful boy?" She asked. Sandaphon turned back to the unconscious Alec, "Alec, his name is Alec. He is part of this group called Tsunami." He explained. Briar is wondering if the guy she has feelings for, has the same feelings as her. Her man makes a scene of himself for attention, that guy who runs through the mall yelling and tries to follow trends to stand out. She could see him trying to make up for awkwardness and a skewed outlook on life by being annoying and overly flashy. Here, he takes on the thuggish, street-aware image, masking himself in fake threats and invisible enemies to seem cool. If he could only act naturally she would like him even more; When finally alone, the tough guy act falls apart, leaving the guy Briar loves. Without people to validate his images and make his fake personalities seem necessary, his real character comes out. However, he’s changed. He’s always acting stupid just to fit in and appear cool, but when he acts like that, Briar can’t help but see him as an idiot. Her man comes over without being invited into the group, and people notice. He isn’t dressed as they would feel most comfortable, he isn’t being cool by trying to be cool. The way he is acting and dressing makes Briar laugh because he looks really stupid. Everyone can tell that he is pretending to be someone he's not, so he should stop it! Briar couldn't help but wonder, why is he so stupid? She can notice that he is trying to be someone that he is not. Maybe because he is trying to fit in a new group of friends who won’t accept him as he really is. But since she has known him for a long time, she is frustrated by the fact that he intends to be different. People learns from their own mistakes and that’s exactly what she is asking him to do. She wants him to be honest and who he truly is. She makes him promise that he will never try to be someone he is not. This boy she's talking about Alec as she knew he's crazy but he loves him. She knew that  once upon a time, there was two people: A boy and a girl obviously. They are like night and day. She’s all high-class and proper, while he’s a few pegs down the social ladder. She liked him but she was too worried about what her friends would say. He was a punk with ripped jeans, long hair & piercings while she was the complete opposite. Because her friends judged him for being different, she rejected him. The girl thought that she was better than the skater boy and decided he wasn’t good enough for her. The girl was big headed and thought she was better than others and needs to stop being so full of herself and become more grounded and sensible. The stuck up girl’s life hasn’t turned out how she presumably thought it would. She’s now a single mother, left without her baby’s father. She turns on the TV to find that the skater boy she rejected 5 years before has been much more successful than her! Her friends are onto the now-famous skater boy who they’d all dissed 5 years ago, showing that he is now suddenly more socially desirable. At the show she sees the skater, admiringly, as a man now, who stands above her! The skater boy that the girl rejected is now a superstar. She missed her chance, her opportunity, to be with him! He’s taken now--Briar and the skater boy are dating now. The girl missed her chance, she turned down the skater because she thought he wasn’t worth it but now she’s the loser and he’s in the higher position and can look down on her. She shouldn’t have judged a book by it’s cover. Rather than judging people by their looks, Briar see’s the person for what is inside.

And after all of this; Briar ends up with the skater boy and their life is what the girl from the beginning could of had. Briar is now with the skater boy, and she’s sticking it to the girl. But it ended pretty badly, Briar was now going through dark and tough times as she wants to find love which will save her. She is so desperate that she doesn’t care who will it be, or if he’s the right person for her. She just wants someone. But there is no sight of any person coming. She’s all alone! She’s searching for anyone who’s going through the same as her. Anyone whom she can connect or confide with. Whether its a place or a face. She needs to talk. She’s looking for someone who’s familiar. She’s just had something really bad happen and she just feels so alone and unloved. The world is a confusing place; she thinks of herself as crazy. Briar thinks she’s alone and nobody wants her. It’s cold outside and she feels alone. She wants someone to come looking for her. To prove to her that she’s loved and someone does want her. Won’t somebody come and help her in these times? She wants to leave wherever she is, whoever is it that’s facing the same things as she is, she’s with them. So, Briar is moving to a new place and moving on. Saying goodbye to her friends and turning around as she journeys onto the next chapter of her life. In this new life; she is constantly on the move. Like how mobile homes move from trailer park to trailer park with no foundation, she is moving from place to place without really laying down her roots. No real place to belong and no real place to turn back to. She’s being real with herself and let go of trying to fit in with the others and pretend to be a part of the “TV Guide” life. Briar knows that she’s weird, she laughs herself to sleep which is the complete opposite of what most sad people do. The adrenaline rush she gets when doing dangerous things makes her feel alive. It’s boring to do what others expect her to do. She wants to do things to the extreme. She wants people to push her to edge just to feel alive! Whatever people would do, they don’t think. But couldn't help to wonder, "Is dying enough to be out of the ordinary?" She doesn’t want to be like everyone else. She’d rather be individual and have people call her 'weird' than be like everyone else. When meeting with someone she has a crush on; Briar knows he can tell she’s nervous and she’s blushing and she’s trying to hide it. She is nervous that he might pick up that she’s trying to be perfect but hell this guy is worth being perfect for her. She feels that if she tells him how she feels he’s just going to reject her and all her feelings were for nothing but if she doesn’t tell him his never going to figure it out so why doesn’t she just tell him that she cares about him! She keeps wanting to say something but she can’t get it out and it just spuds like she’s trying to come up with something to say. She feels like she’s dreaming of things and wishing the will happen but she thinks she has to tell him for him to figure it out but she’s never going to say it: Briar wants to tell him she wants to blow his mind, he wants him to purpose to her, she wishing things would happen and they will define the rest of her life but she’s never going to say what she wants. In the life of being a singer-songwriter; Briar wants people to be able to recognize that she’s genuine and real, not fake. If they don’t like her personality, then they should just straight up tell her instead of trying to manipulate her and turn her into who they want her to be. Later on while walking back to her apartment; Briar turned around to see who it was, but she saw that no one was there. Briar kept walking, a little faster however the person who was stalking her was closing in on her. Briar quickly turned around to face her stalker. She was surprised to see that it was--Seth. "Oh, it's only you." Briar said coldly. "What do you want?" "I just want to talk to you." replied Seth. "I would like to thank you for saving Alec." This made Briar suspicious. "I wasn't doing it for you, I was saving innocent lives who were at stake." She snapped. Seth nodded, "That's what I like about you." He answered. "Selfless. Caring. And your powers continued to amazed me." Seth then reached into the back and said, "I got something that will make your eyes sparkle." He pulled out a slim box and hands it to her. Briar took it curiously, she opened the box to see a necklace of white pearls with a sea blue charm to the necklace. "Oh, it's so pretty. You got this for me?" Briar asked, touched by his kindness. "Yes. For your heroic efforts that is." replied Seth but a smirk appeared on his face. "I feel you need to be more honored in a special way, like...Maybe joining me in a more--burning sensation." He said. Briar's face fell, she closed the box and glared at him. "I can't believe this! First, you give me this gift. And now you tell me this? Oh no, I don't think so. I'll take your gift but I'll have to refuse your offer." She said. Seth was disappointed by this news. "Hmph. That's a shame, really." He said. "I am not fighting crime by burning criminals to a crisp. I won't. Never!" Briar declared. Then, she storms away. Seth watches her go before a smirk appeared on his face. "Oh, I'll make you change your mind. You'll be writhing in pain until I hear you sing your acceptance to my offer." He said to himself, he chuckled in a sinister matter. That night after everyone went to bed; Briar begins to have a strange dream where an angler fish, a white kind, chased after tiny fish and bite into some sort of coral that looked like a brain. And then, Briar wakes up with a start, "What? Why am I awake?" She wondered. Then, her eyes glowed a whitish blue colored pupil as her activated as it destroyed the place. "What is going on?" She thought. Watching her movements are being controlled; Seth snickers quietly of this. Her powers were losing control and was going out of line. Perfect! Briar tried to restrained herself of her movement to her arms and legs but she couldn't. It was hopless! Briar didn't understand what was going on and it was scaring her. Seth sneered, "Got you now." He thought. Isadore glanced at his older brother, he didn't like this one bit. Not at all. It wasn't good to him.

Meanwhile, Briar's neighbor woke up to hear bumps in the night and hurried over to see what was going on, he was shocked to see Briar's limbs moving on their own and she's not doing this. "What the hell?" He exclaimed. "It--It's not me, I feel like I'm being mind controlled." Briar protested. Then, she could hear a voice in her mind sniggering. "Guess you know what I can maneuver." said the voice in her mind. Briar was shocked, anger fired up in her chest. "Seth Jace, what the hell are you doing in my head, you bastard?" demanded Briar. Seth leered at her, "You refused my offer. Nobody refuses me and gets away with it! So now you have to pay. You see, that lovely necklace I gave you had a virus which the virus injected into your neck and traveled up to you brain. Making more of a movement in your limbs, by my control. It's both painful in both body and mind." He explained. Briar gritted her teeth, "Son of a bit--" She remarked but her arms twisted around and she grimaces in great anguish. "Uh-uh! Watch your tongue. Say one more bad word or disrespect me, and you. will. die." threatened Seth. Fear flooded her face, "You wouldn't." growled Briar. "I would. Back talk towards me and you won't get to breathe ever again!" warned Seth viciously. "Get out of my head, Seth! Leave. Me. ALONE!!!!" begged Briar. "You can't stop me, Briar. I can control every muscle, every nerve, every vessel in your body." Seth declared, laughing insanely. He then made Briar run away with her looking back at her neighbor. The neighbor was shocked of what was happening so he rushed over to get help. Briar was lured over to the corporation of Tsunami, she tried to fight back from entering in there but she knew it was no use and fell to the ground as Seth laughed with insanity. Then, Briar writhed on the floor. Her body parts--Hands, fingers, toes, feet, and legs--were twisted around on their own. "Stop....Please, stop! I can't take much more of this...." She begged. "Accept my offer and I'll let you breathe!" Seth replied. "NEVER!" screeched Briar. "Fine. I'll make you suffer more and more...AND MORE!" cried Seth. Isadore gasped, "No! What about the reason why we are punishing the remorseless and apathetic kinds? Brother, don't do this!" He thought. Briar begin to cry, it was too much for her to bare all this pain. "Help....Me....Please!" She thought through her tears. As she wept of her tears; A shimmering light appears before her. Briar looked up, she saw that it was an angel, she wore white. "Who are you?" Briar asked. "Hush, do not cry my daughter. I have come to save you from your pain." replied the angel. All of a sudden; Srth couldn't believe what he was seeing, "What--?" He said. Just then he was seized by six hands and looked up to see who it was. "What the hell is going on? What did you two do to her?" demanded Marian. "It was big brother's idea really!" protested Isadore truthfully. "You've gone too far! What happened to what we stand for? Why we do this?" Phoebus reminded. Seth was shocked, he realized why and it suddenly came back to him. His family, his childhood, it was taken. He wanted revenge on the people that done this. "Never do this again, because this is not what any of us signed up for. We must not hurt her, no one innocent such as this girl." Alec said. Since that experience, Briar thinks that her talent is underrated, she has more experience. She is following her path. She’ll have more control over her life and she won't let Seth get in her way again! She’s standing on her own two feet, she’s stronger! In the meantime, a young boy was standing on the ledge, the ledge crumbles under from him and he falls into this supermassive black hole. The hole has a light brightens up and he saw demonic monsters. But then the boy turns into a magician with fire coming from his hands and he burnt the monsters! Someone calls out his name, "Roland? Roland, Roland. Roland!" "Ay-yah!" The boy exclaimed. Roland, he is 15 years old with dark brown hair and scarlet red eyes. The person calling him was his mother, his father was in the drive's seat, and Roland’s little brother, Elliott, was next to him. They were in the car, driving from their hometown to a new place. "Wake up, Roland. You were talking in your sleep again." His mother said. Roland clutched his head, "Sorry, I just had a horrible nightmare." He said. “This storm, son. It’s making you have bad dreams lately." His father replied. The driving was silent except for the radio, "…weather forecast of rainstorm showers but tomorrow is going to be sunny tomorrow…." "So, Mom? Dad? Any chance I can try out for soccer?" asked Roland, hopefully. “Hmm. That depends on the weather, Roland.” said his father, not paying attention to the radio. “Oh, don’t be silly honey! There will be sunshine tomorrow, so we’ll be sure to take you there tomorrow.” said his mother. Roland looks at his mother funny, “Um, did you forget? Tomorrow is my last day of school, remember?” He reminded. “After, Roland. After.” assured his mother. The next day; Briar was sitting in a tree, watching the clouds when she heard her phone beeped. She looked at it, which reads: "Do you want to start?" Briar was confused, "What could this mean?" She thought. She clicked 'YES', then her phone starts talking: "Briar Morgan." Briar was shocked by this discovery, "What is this?" She wondered. "It's time to decide your future, Briar." Her phone said. "Take the 9:45 train from the station." Briar looked at the time, it said '9:37.' "Aww, crap!!!" Briar yelped. She got out of the tree and hurried on her way. When she got to the station; Briar realized she doesn't have a ticket, she panicked a little however she couldn't panic and needs time to think. Just then, the ticket came out of the machine. Briar gladly took it while she made it just in time but barely. However, she saw two other boys as she wondered if they got the message too. Then, she looked at her phone, which now said, "Transfer to the ten o'clock." Then she looked at the time and it said '9:54.' "Are you kidding me?" She moaned. She made it on to the elevator, then she saw the second boy also entered. Before the elevator could close, the first one jumped in and landed on his head. Briar was stunned, "Are you OK?" She asked the boy. The boy clutched his head, "Yeah, thanks." He said. The boy then looked at the other one, "Hey! You got the message too?" He asked. The other boy didn't answer, the first one rolled his eyes and said, "Eh...At least you could've given me an answer." Briar have to silently agree, it was getting annoying however she thought the other boy's behavior was pretty rude too. All of a sudden, the elevator passed the last floor and was speeding up. Briar was shocked, "What is going on?" She wondered. "Awww....My destiny is starting to bite." The first boy moaned. Briar looked at the boy, she thinks that maybe he got the message too. The first boy kept talking, "Man, I gotta stop landing on my head." He looked up and saw the trains, Briar did too. There's two trains--One was red and the other was blue. When she decided to enter the Burgundy train she chose the last car. Then the door closed and then she went to the very back of the train. Briar saw the same boy from the elevator running to catch the train. "Destiny sure involves a lot of running!" He said. Briar wanted to help so she said as she reached her hand out, "Come on! you can make it!" She called. He then grabbed a bar at the end of the train, and Briar helped him up. " Thanks." She said. "Your welcome." Briar replied with a grin. Then both of them saw the other boy from the elevator. They looked at each other for a moment until the tunnel separated into two. "Way to think ahead Roland, wherever your going, your going to get there in a hurry."  He muttered. Briar both went in the train it was empty in the last car. "No one... It's like a ghost train in here,"  He remarked. "It kinda looks like it." Briar said. "What if it is a ghost train!"  And then he started running to the next car. "Wait up!" Briar said. He opened the door and both of she saw  three other kids. "Uh, you here because of the phone, thing?" asked Roland. They all moaned, except the one with the baseball hate, he just looked down. Then the girl nodded and said, "With them here, there's five of us. What if that means something special?"

"Something special? What? Why did you guys get on this train?" wondered Roland. "I mean was it the message?" Briar just shrugged. "Hey kid look it was the closest train to the elevator,"  said the one eating chocolate. "Now look, just leave me alone."  "Geez, sorry." Roland replied, taking a back by the other boy's behavior. "I'm just nervous." Wow, he's rude when he's nervous, Briar thought.  Then the boy she helped up to the train looked at the girl and said,"but there must be a reason why you picked this particular train, right?" She giggled and said, "Unlike him it was the closest to the elevator." Then she asked her, "Did you choose it for the same reason?" "No, I Just chose this train because I felt like I needed to choose it." Briar said. "Ok then." Then the one with a chocolate bar winked at Roland & Briar and said, "Watch this," and turned to the girl and said, "Hey honey want some chocolate?"  He pushed the boy aside while he said, "Move." Then he was talking to the girl and said, "So my name's Thomas Blitz, whats yours?" "I'm Isabella Zephyr nice to meet you," She replied. "and I'm-- I'm Roland, hi there." "I'm Briar Morgan" She said and smiled. Then everyone turned to the boy with the baseball hat. "I'm Owen Otso, but I didn't want to get on this train." He said. "What are you saying?" asked Roland. Then Owen started crying. "Two bullies pushed me on the train and shut the door." Then he looked up and said, "Why are kids always picking on me?" Briar felt sad for Little Owen. "Geez! The kid's like a faucet." muttered Thomas. Then Briar and Isabella said at the same time, "Thomas!" Then Isabella said to Owen, " Don't worry Owen, you're safe. Now that your with us." All of a sudden Briar heard the train horn, but it didn't sound normal. It was more of a raspy sound as if someone with a bad cough was trying to make a horn sound. Then the lights went out. "What's going on?" Briar thought. Then everyone was falling to the back of the car. Then she saw something flash on Roland, and it looked like a creature. then she saw something flash a few times, but it was coming from the others. It looked like multiple combined creatures but combined with the others as well. Takuya defiantly saw the creature that flashed from the others. Their phones lit up and transformed into a different device. "What's going on?" Roland said. "I don't know but this might mean trouble." Briar told Roland. Then Briar's phone started talking, again. "Welcome to Avalon, everyone." The train stopped at its destination and everyone got off as they found themselves in a different world. Then there was more creatures. Some were cute and friendlier while others are strange. Then the strange being hopped in front of them and one jumped up to Briar, but this one seemed different from the rest. "Hi, I'm Dinah, nice to meet you." "H-hi, I-I'm Briar." She stumbled. "Don't be scared, I wont hurt you or your friends. Can I be your friend too?" The critter asked. This one seemed nice and friendlier. Meanwhile; The blue train stopped the second boy name Elwyn Lupin got off and a creature that looked very strange. All of a sudden, Elwyn's device says, "Elwyn, commence your search." "Search? For what?" Elwyn asked with confusion. "Hm?" "For the spirit." The device answered. "How do you know my name?" Elwyn demanded. "Find the spirit, and you will find the answer to all your questions." The device only said. Back with Briar; the creature, Dinah, then asked: "Don't be scared, I won't hurt you or your friends. Can I be your friend too?" Briar felt nervous however she replied: "Sure." Dinah smiled happily, "Great!" He hopped on her shoulder. Just then, Briar and the others heard Own crying as he was balancing himself on a bridge that looked steeped and not so safe. "Poor thing, he seemed scared." said Dinah. Briar nodded, "I think so too." She said. "Owen!" called Roland. "Go away!" Owen shouted back. "This isn't helping, come back--you're gonna fall!" Roland hollered. "Well, I don't want to be here anymore!" Owen said. "Wait, Owen! I'll....I'll take you home! Listen, come with me and together--All of us, we just need to go on a journey so please come back!" Owen stood there for a moment, then he turned and decided to turn back however he stepped on a plank that broke apart and he would've fell but held onto the rope part of the bridge. "Hang on, Owen! I'm coming!" called Roland. However, before he could step onto the bridge; there was something behind and a trio of three came running while shouting, "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!!!!!!" They jumped onto Roland and pulled him back towards the cliff. Roland fell onto the ground of the cliff, one of the trio said: "Oh dear! You think everything else is human!" "Um, excuse me? I'M HUMAN!!!! hollered Roland. "Ooops, sorry!" said that person. "Eh, you're not hurt." said the other who seemed the leader to the trio. The other seemed like an idiot, "I like you, friend." He said. Then, there was that same creature with horned wings and fangs as well as claws. "WHERE IS THE CHOSEN ONE?" It snarled. The second of the trio speaks out, "The chosen one is where he or she will save the world." He explained. "Ah, I see." Roland said. "It seems a bit weird." remarked Briar. Dinah nodded in agreement. The creature snarled, it flew up as the others begin to run away in fear from this vampiric monsters. "So, where are we going?" The group asked. "Away from that thing!" shouted Briar. They ran and ran, until it fell like their lungs were about to burst. The bridge was about to crumble so Briar, with Dinah clutching on her shoulder, and Roland went to the bridge as they rescued Owen from it falling apart. Briar carried the little boy in her arms as the two of them hurried away while the bridge was falling apart. Then, the devices of the children begin to glow and a strange medallion appears. "What the hell is going on?" Roland said. "It is time!" exclaimed the dumb one. "Woo! We're gonna be rich, baby!" said the trio's leader. "Oh my, what things we'll discovered from this!" said the second with excitement. The medallion glowed, Dinah let out an, "Ooooh!" while Briar staring at this in awe; gaping at the beautiful sight. All at once; Roland Agnarr, Isabella Zephyr, Thomas Blitz, and Owen Otso could see it as they heard something coming as it said, "You won't know me and I will destroy you!" The four of them could see it attacked when a force field protected the four of them and then, the four of them transformed into a bunch of strange beings. The four of them were different. Roland's used to be a red T-shirt with orange stars on the sleeves, a yellow pocket on each side of the chest, and three yellow buttons in the top, over a slightly longer yellow T-shirt with a turtleneck collar. He also wears reddish brown shorts, where he keeps his deivice at his side. There was a black wristband on the left arm, white gloves, white socks, and blue and orange sneakers with yellow triangles on them. Now he wears is what appears to be a dragon warrior, with a body clad in armor of metal. Isabella's outfit used to be of a western-style pink dress with a buttoned turtleneck, a white belt with a golden buckle, light purple gloves with straps around the wrists, pink socks, and purple and white shoes. She also wears a large purple cowgirl hat with a white drawstring. She now has on is a catsuit with the golden bra and the straps, which was made white vynil. A pink ribbon made from duchess satin and boa feather and eight wings. She also wore a helmet to hide her eyes; making her look like a blind prophet. Thomas's clothes was once of a blue button-up shirt with rolled-back sleeves, yellow shorts, light blue gloves, light yellow socks, and blue & yellow shoes. He was wearing a suit with plated armour on his torso, arms, and upper legs with boots and cleats on the boots' heels. And Owen's clothes was once of a white vest over a light orange shirt with short sleeves, khaki shorts, orange socks, and white strapped tennis shoes. He now wears dressed in white and blue clothing while he has six-wings. Like Isabella; he wore a helmet that covered his eyes. They fought against the monsters and slayed them all with their powers! Briar and Dinah were shocked to see this. The trio was so excited that they couldn't believe they were seeing this.

After it was all over; Briar was amazed but she somehow feel like she just couldn't follow them forever and she decides to go her own path. She decides to go with the trio however Roland and the others didn't notice she was gone so she was out of sight with her companion, Dinah. Later; Briar and Dinah were traveling with the trio. Their names were Ostadar, Demetri, and Hervey! Ostadar was the idiot, Demetri was the genius and Hervey was the leader. She had some good laughs with these guys and got along with them. Just then, on one night, Briar had a vision--almost like a memory as she saw something in her mind: "I'm somebody now, Mom. Everybody likes me. Soon, millions of people will see me and they'll all like me. I'll tell them about you, and how good life was. Remember?" said the girl in a tearful voice. "You got friends, sweetie." The girl's mother said softly. "Ah, it's not the same. They don't need me. I like the way I feel." The girl said. Then, Briar had a nightmare where she sees someone and someone who sounds like an announcer: "She's beautiful, with a witty sense of humor and a smile. She'll win your heart with her light novel stories." The announcer said, "Please give a warm welcome to Mrs Donna Katz!" Applause went around and a girl's voice said, "It's a pleasure to be here." The host said, "It's a pleasure to have you." The girl smiled and said: "Thank you, my honorable man. I would like to say hello to my beautiful, successful mother, Valeria and all the people that cared about me...Emily.....Joan.....Tanya....and Sybil." More applause and the host said, "It's almost that time. Are you ready?" The girl nodded, "I'm ready." She said. But her dreams turned into nightmares by her persona demons and the girl was shouting: "What are you doing here? Why are you here? What do you want?" She demanded. Then, she heard a voice: "Look at this. It's disgusting." The girl threw her hands up in exasperation, "What do you expect? Could you do any better? It's an old building. It hasn't been painted in years.  I'm alone, I don't have friends and I'm not popular! You don't understand. Please. I'll explain." She said tearfully. She then heard the audience. Laughing and laughing at her. Then she heard one voice said, "So is that like being retarded?" The second one said: "You should be very proud of yourself. You seem so normal. I couldn't tell that you're special needy." And the third taunted: "You're not like my child; you can write a blog post. My child will never be able to write a blog post." and a fourth voice said, "You have no right to claim to speak for people who can't speak for themselves." Then, the laughter and chanting continues. The girl cowers away as she shouted: "I just wanna be a writer! Please!" She woke up, gasping. She couldn't help but cry a little, even Hervey and his friends feel bad for her. They watch her for she has no memory of her past! In the meantime, Elphin joined the group after being the lone wolf that he was. However, it all changed when the group came across an 'angel'. They wake up in a house and saw a woman was making some tea, her back towards them. She was wearing a kimono, her hair in a bun of a geisha. "Hello?" Roland called. The woman in the kimono turned around, her face was a kind woman.  She smiled at them as a sign of greeting. "Welcome. I thought maybe I gather you all together with me. My name is Karolína, and I am the Wise Woman." She explained that they are the heroic warriors and were destined to save the world with the chosen one: Roland was the fire warrior, Elphin was the ice warrior, Isabella was the earth-plant warrior, Thomas was the thunder and lightning warrior, and Owen is the water warrior however there was a sixth member but in order to find him, they must purify his wretched soul and heart. During the night; Elphin begins to sit there alone, away from the celebration. Roland saw he looks trouble and walks over to talk to him. "Hey buddy, this is a celebration. Why aren't you having fun?" asked Roland. "I don't know, I guess I'm troubled somehow. I'm just not the type who wants to have fun." admitted Elphin. Roland is surprised, he smiled at him: "You don't, really?" He asked. Elphin rolled his eyes, "No. I mean, I want to have fun but I don't want to because I fear of rejection." He asked. Susanoo shrugged his shoulders, "I know you are, you're afraid of being yourself and you don't realize how beautiful life is. You need to make friends and be yourself, don't be afraid. Just make the most of it. Have fun." explained Roland. Elphin sighed, "You may have a point, have you ever been alone?" He asked. "No, well...Yeah, sometimes I do." replied Roland. Then the two boys went back to the party. However, nobody knew they were being watched by the likes of Briar and Dinah where Briar is swooning over the likes of Elphin as well as Roland but becomes upset after an intense argument between these boys.

Just then, a storm came in and ruined the party. The others tried to evacuate however Roland and Elphin were thrown overboard as both boys fell unconscious, Briar jumped in and saved the two boys while she pulled them to shore. "Are they dead?" Briar asked. "I don't know." said Ostadar. "Maybe we shall chant an incantation to rise him from the dead." "I think you've been reading too much comics, Columbo." said Hervey. "Hmm, I hear his heart beating......And his too......" said a voice that sound high pitched. "They are?" gasped Briar. "Wait, it sounds faint...No, his heart is pulsing. Yes, he is living after all." said Demetri. "Yes, I knew it." said the girl happily. She put her hand running through Roland's hair. "He is so beautiful...They both are..." mused the girl's voice. "Maybe this will stop you from fighting." Then, she begins to sing a song: "Dreaming of all the places, if you would come with me. Escape from the pain, find peace inside where I am. So I can be part of your life, your world....wanting to stay and be with you." Stirring slowly in his sleep; Roland was astounded, confused by this pretty song of a siren voice. "Wha--?" He thought. Turning to Elphin; Briar begins to sing again, "Dreaming of all the places, if you would come with me. Escape from the pain, find peace inside where I am. So I can be part of your life, your world....wanting to stay and be with you." Roland found his words, "Oh....Wow......" He murmured. "....That was beautiful." Elphin said softly. Briar smiled dreamingly until she heard Isabella and the other two boys calling for her so Briar and her friends escaped but from afar, Briar sings: "....Escape from the pain, find peace inside where I am. So I can be part of your life, your world....wanting to stay and be with you..." The next day, Briar was floating on the beach water as she went up and down on a surf board, but she had a miserable look on her face. Simply falling in love with someone, whether she feels the same way or not, is nowhere near a “sin”. It is seemingly out of her control. All bodies of water eventually end up in the ocean. The water has no choice in that matter. In her eyes, she and her crush, Briar, are the same. She knows that she really is being rather foolish by being willing to trust a boy she probably has not known for very long that she is just falling in love with him. Briar is in her delusions that she will be played with or rejected by two loves. In her delusional world; Briar feels like she can't be with the one she loves. Sometimes as she is by herself she feels better. Reality is a hard thing to face when you begin to think about it. Briar feels like she is just acting, and is not being real. When Briar is on her own, she can think clearly, and let her guard down. However when she's around him, she can’t keep her emotions in check, and falls apart. She’s not going to sleep with him just because he’s giving her attention, it will take more than that to get her into bed. If he tries to have his way with her, she’ll make sure he gets the message that she’s not interested in that! And it gets worst. It’s just another boring day, it’s getting late Saturday night and soon enough it will be Monday again. The day everyone hates. He hasn’t texted or called her, he didn’t have manners like opening the door for her, he never made her feel special like she was his and this just wasn’t the type of guy she was looking for in life. She could feel the emotion of being nervous as she biting her nails! When nothing else seems to happen she will just start cleaning her room to get her mind off things. She thinks it’s just time for her to leave the relationship because from her point of view of it, it’s tasteless and boring. She learned something out of this: We’ve all got the right to stand up for ourselves and state what’s on our mind and how we feel so stand up make some noise and feel better. In this miserable life of love and heartbreak; everyone in life is just getting on with their own life and minding their own business. There is so much going on and so many people around her she feels insignificant. She’s admitting her weaknesses and that she gets tired and affected by things as well. Briar thought she found her big love to spend all her life with. But now she realizes it won´t turn out like a fairy tale happy ending. She wants to talk out the problem instead of ignoring it and being quiet about it. She is wanting to know if the cause of the argument was all her fault. A relationship is easily breakable. Even the biggest lovers can turn into strangers in a matter of seconds. She has the feeling that she will crash on the ground when their relationship breaks apart. She only had eyes for him. All her efforts went for their future. She neglected other things because of that and that´s why she only knows him anymore. His friends are just one of the things that brought their relationship down, she wants a serious relationship with him and she makes everything to maintain that. His friends are difficult too, that she isn’t the only one and they shouldn’t be judging her anyways because they don’t even know her. when he’s with his friends he can pretends to be someone else. Apparently he had secrets she was not aware of. As these secrets can leave both with mistrust it is a big relationship killer. She was played by the guy, he told her all the things girls want to hear! "You are the only one that I wanted...." She thought to herself. And she knew it--There is only one person you are meant to spend your whole life with and many people will never find this person for them. She found him, but they made a mistake and missed their opportunity. She had many of these memories with him. But as their relationship breaks apart their memories loose their colors and become to cold pictures she doesn´t want to think of. Apparently she misunderstood his intentions. For her he was the big love. But for him she was just a girlfriend out of many. In her dream that night, she saw that this young man was so handsome....his body-suit is deep blue. He wears light blue pauldrons on his shoulders with a matching cape and waist pieces. The bottom of his shoes are deep blue with light blue design and shin guards. A set of horns sprout from his head and bat-like wings sprout from his back. He holds a dark blue rose, the petals falling off one by one as he goes. Briar wakes up with a start and sighed while blushing, "Dammit!" She thought. "I've got to keep these female hormones in check."
