Uranometria--Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Monster Knight

Since she took the Nepenthe; Cassandra begin to have strange dreams: Justice was Krankheit. Echo was Pistos. Zaden was Ähky. Hanuman was Luuvalo. Proteus is Riisi. Kamaitachi is Paise. Lleu is Rupi. Borvo is Syöjä. Juniper is Rutto. Brennius is Kateus. And Cassandra is Louhi. In the next dream sequence; Cassandra was standing near the shore at night, she had no idea why she was there but for some reason he was there. Cassandra tried calling out, but no sound or words came out. Then, she saw it some sort of strange blue crystal spiral on the water. "What is that?" She wondered. The scenery changes into a misty desert where there was a girl with flowing dark hair, ivory skin that made her look porcelain, and she wore a strapless gown in the breeze. "Who are you?" Cassandra asked. The girl looked up to glare at her with the same blue color as the spiral. Those eyes glared viciously into her soul. Cassandra wake up in a different island: Ir-Kalla. Meanwhile; Ophelia research on the symptoms of Febris are mild depression, irritability, tension, euphoria, aggressive/risky behavior, psychosis, temper, sadness, hopelessness, guilt, and high anxiety. Mimir fears for the girls who might get darker and angrier if they are not careful. For the time being, Cassandra is at some sort of mellow party that wasn't too loud but she didn't feel like dancing. However, she knew something was about to happen. In the meantime; there was a group of silhouetted figures, which someone--the leader--whispers to them, "Things are about to get nuts, so it’s time to break out the guns and grab some hostages. Throw down and explode, but if all fails; they were going to blow this place into ashes." They sneak inside as they look around this mellow party. One of them shoots above as the lights burst into sparks.

Everyone screamed, but then a voice calls out: "Listen up, everybody! I'm taking charge, because I am willing to take extreme measures to make sure my demands are met! Stick with me, without hesitation or question; we are about to kick some ass and taking names. In other words, we're going all in. So, let me see them hands.” Cassandra didn't know what was going on however she knew what to do. She hesitantly used a gun and fired above the guy's head. The guy noticed, "What the hell?" He demanded. Cassandra kept firing away and away but she felt footsteps getting heavier and heavier. She got away as she ran into the rain but got inside a warehouse. This is where she hid until now, she was safe. But someone crept inside and found her. "Well, well....A girl, a woman. I never would've guessed it'd be someone like you." replied the voice. Cassandra got her gun ready and turned to face her opponent but she was shocked to see who it was. A man with a mask and and a gun pointed at her. But Cassandra was quicker, she fired first. The gun man jumps back but he found himself looking at how beautiful and how glowing Cass is. "Is anything wrong?" asked the gun man. Cassandra stare at him and a little smirk on her face, "Is anything right?" She said. She fired again as he dodge it. "You know, I didn't mean to try and kill you, babe. I think you're hot..." said the gunman, nervously. He then look out and called out, "Do you like me?" "Do I not like you?" said a sneering Cassandra. Irritated; The gun man begin to go crazy, he was about to pull out his gun to inch his finger to the trigger. Just then, someone came down and killed the gun man. Cassandra was shock to see who it was. It had blood spot bruises on its body, a mouth-less faces and tentacle/extended limbs behind their backs, they are standing up but then its mouths open in an inhuman way, which its jaws reach to its torso.

The creature was shocked to see Cassandra, "A....A...A woman?" It said with an inhuman voice tone. "What....are you.....?" whispered Cassandra. Then, she felt something swirling, there was rainbow psychedelic illusions as she fainted. Cassandra wakes up in a vast, Escher-inspired room filled with stairways. She looks around when she saw a hand climbed up and it turns out to be a young man name Arcturus Danda. He outstretch his hand towards her in a gesture for her to take it but Cassandra runs and falls down from a ledge. She finds herself with her hair in a left side braid woven, wisps of her bangs slicked back on top of her head. She wears a crystal-blue, off-the-shoulder dress with a right knee-high slit, a crystal decorated bodice and translucent, powder blue sleeves. Covering her feet are high heels, attached to the shoulders of her dress is a long, transparent cape and sweeps the floor. She wanders through the ballroom, continuing as she is eventually found by Arcturus and drawn into a waltz with him. Cassandra is dipped backwards but in her mind she could see some sort of monstrosity. Then, Cassandra breaks the illusion as it resonates around the ballroom. Arcturus gasped as he fell to the ground. He turned back into a creature, who looked like a familiar beast man. "It's you...." Cassandra gasped. In the meantime; Eulalie meets a young lady name Findabair Shekhinah. She started off initially cold and even hostile towards her before gradually showing her warm side over time. Deirdre meets a young man who was a determined fellow name Llwch Thoth. Turan and Norna meet a bunch of young men led by someone name Hector Phaethon and the others are: Emrys Attis, Nudd Pascual, Marcus Audoin, and Maponos Erebeus. Ariadne meets Drustan Hermod, who is so completely obnoxious that it is unbelievable anyone would willingly interact with him. But there's more to this guy than meets the eye however; he also likes to do good deeds but in secret, to keep his reputation intact. And lastly, Juana meets Bernard Etoille, who is a incorruptible pure that never lose their moral compass or idealism. But these guys got a secret: They are hunting eldritch abomination, beast humans--Lidercs.

Later, They managed to find a quiet, abandoned place and landed there. Cassandra let human Arcturus go safely from her grasp. “So, what are you?” asked Arcturus. “I can’t explain it, I came from another place.” explained Cassandra briefly. This didn’t satisfied Arcturus one bit. “That’s not a good answer.” He said. Cassandra sighs, “Fine. Maybe I can show you.” She said. “How?” asked Arcturus. Cassandra leans over and kisses him on the lips. Arcturus could see Cassandra’s memories of her being abuse as a child, her life that was now a tragedy. Her new life at Silver Branch. Cassandra parted her lips away from Arcturus and looked at him. "So, whatcha think?" Cassandra asked with a smile. Arcturus was speechless until he remembered what happened. "Arrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!" He shouted. Arcturus charged at her as his monstrosity but Cassandra dodged him as she hit a wall. "You're right, you're right. I should've done that. It was wrong to kiss you but it's just a kiss. I was trying to show you--" Cassandra said quickly as possible. "Never. Again!" Arcturus warned. "Right, sorry! Sorry!" Cassandra apologized. "'Less I say so." muttered Arcturus. Cassandra looked at him, "What you say?" She asked. "Nothing!" replied Arcturus, defensively. Cassandra held up her hands, "OK, OK, Take it easy. I thought you said something but never mind." She claimed. Arcturus nodded, "Are you an angel? A demon?" He asked. “Not at all, I just…I don’t know what I am but I can tell you one thing. I am no demon nor angel. I come in peace and came to know you—Arcturus Danda. Please, let me talk to the authorities and explain what’s going on.” Cassandra explained. At once; Arcturus turned back into a human and nodded. “OK. I’ll trust you. But if you pull anything, I’ll kill you.” He said.

Cassandra nods, obeying to his word. Arcturus looked away as he can hear someone echoing in his head: "Men can be masters of their fate. It is not destiny’s fault, but our own faults, that we’re slaves." Then he turned to her and said with a warning, "There’s a virus in my blood, the fear running in veins all the time, taking me place in life, fear is the most powerful mean to control a person. Violence kills a person’s self conscience, kills dreams, self esteem, authentic emotions and feelings, kills silence and sleeping, is like living through death and it is horrible when I only emotions are pure terror, anger, hate for myself and love taking me over, an insane love. And this lovely illusion is controlling me." Cassandra knows Arcturus that he alone knows about, but he doesn’t want to show anyone. Arcturus carefully tries to hide it from others, but sometimes he’s just not able to control it anymore.Arcturus doesn’t want anyone to see his bad side, as it is dangerous, and some people might not like it. Wherever he goes, people recognize Arcturus and want to kill him. He does not feel like a normal person anymore, because Arcturus does not get treated like a monster. This may have made Arcturus hate what he is and what he is doing. "Madness go hand in hand. People who you've known all your life… they’re steady, then they’re not. But you can’t ponder, ‘cause it kills you. It mainlined into the veins but it has pain reliving effects and it's not too dangerous." said Cassandra. She leaned over at Arcturus, who blushed as his gaze was upon her luscious lips. "One word of advice. Make friends with me, it’s probably not wise to be on my bad side. You think it will be all okay, but I don't deal with crap. If you hurt me, I will get you. I'll rip you to pieces if you wrong me in any way. You don’t know how powerful I am actually is. I'm more attractive and enigmatic that you can ever realize. Watch out, I can be a nightmare!" She warned.

Jack was asleep in his bed when somebody sneaked into his room, crept by his bed, and then rang a small gong. Jack woke up with a start, he look to see that it was Proteus who used his rubber powers to wake him up. "Wakey wakey, Revenant Boy! Look alive, up and at 'em!" He said loudly. Jack groaned as his hit almost back on the pillow when Kamaitachi used his wind to levitate him off the ground. "Get dressed, be prepared. Breakfast is downstairs!" announced Kamaitachi. He then lets him down as Jack is perplexed to know what's going on. "What--?" He started to ask. Kamaitachi and Proteus turned to him confused at his expression. "Come on, you got training with Cass right?" "What are you--" Jack asked but stopped when he remembered Cassandra had asked him to train with her and Jack agrees. "Oh, that's right." thought Jack. His hand smacked him in the face. "Ugh, I feel stupid." Proteus and Kamaitachi snickered at his reaction, Jack glares at them when a voice calls out to him. "Jaacccccckkkkk! Where are you?" It was Cassandra. "Sorry Cass, I'm coming!" Jack announced, he hurried out to the training field. "Have fun!" Proteus called out. Jack turned away, he rolled his eyes. "Assholes..." He muttered. Cassandra and Jack were ready to battle against one another. "Give it all you got, Jack." Cassandra said. "Always." replied Jack. And their training fight begins, however Cass noticed Jack wasn't going in his potential level. "C'mon! Is that all you got? I think you don't have what it takes to defeat the Revenants." called Cassandra. This shock Jack, "I do!" He insisted. Cassandra shook her head, "No, you're not showing your true power." She said. "I am!" Jack called out. "You don't have the guts to save innocent lives, you couldn't even save your mother or anyone else!" This made Jack furious, "WHY YOU--!" He yelled, his fist hits Cassandra as she hits the floor. Jack was shocked, "Are you OK, Cass? I'm sorry...." He said, bending down to her.

Cassandra look back at him with a fierce look, "AUGH!" She pinned him to the ground and bared her teeth. "YOU DARE PUNCH A GIRL?! NEVER. EVER. DO THAT TO ME!!!!" She screamed. But then, she snapped out of it as she lets go of Jack. "Cass?" He whispered. Cassandra was clutching her head in fear. "I'm so sorry." She apologized. Jack looked at her with concern, "What's going on with you?" He rasped. "I--I have no idea...." Cassandra admitted. She walked away, ending the training. That was a memory that Jack thought about after he heard her warning to Arcturus. While Cassandra was in this other world, She had nightmares about a creature called a nuckelavee. It was a formless specter living off the coast, this foul faerie would rise from the depths of the ocean and take the form of a massive, skinless, black-blooded, yellow-veined, fin-footed, man-eating horse with its "rider" fused to its back from his waist down. The horse head had a single blazing red eye and a gaping mouth full of vicious teeth, while the "rider" had an oversized head that rolled about on its undersized neck, and long, muscular arms that ended with razor sharp claws. This monster was an Omnicidal Maniac of the highest order, rising from the sea to deliver a plague called the Mortasheen that would kill livestock and crops, and it reserved a special hatred for any unfortunate humans it came across. Its one consistent weakness was fresh water, which it could not cross. She had visions of a chupacabra: It was at least 7 feet, 2.1 milimeters tall and that it had a black face which appeared to glow from within, and a black body. The creature's head as elongated, non-human eyes and as either being shaped like a sideways diamond, or as having a large circle shaped cowling behind it. The creature's body was described as being inhumanly-shaped and clad in a dark pleated exoskeleton ; later described as being described as a shadow. Some accounts record that the creature appeared to have no visible arms do to the incredible ability of speed. Others describe it as having long, stingy arms; ending in long, claw-like fingers, which protruded from the front of its body.

In this attack, eight sheep were discovered dead, each with three puncture wounds in the chest area and completely drained of blood. She also had numerous of other nightmares of supposed extraterrestrial beings as there were strange things like lights in the sky and odd sounds. There was a man-like figure fly low from the trees over their heads, it was a huge and white creature about 7 feet tall with huge wings and red eyes--This was called The Mothman. There was a dream of a kangaroo-like creature with the head of a goat, leathery bat-like wings, horns, small arms with clawed hands, cloven hooves and a forked tail. It has been reported to move quickly and often is described as emitting a blood-curdling scream. There was a dream about a two-and-a-half-foot long Sand Worm that's said to live in the Gobi Desert. It's called the Allghoi Khorkoi since it resembles a blood-red cow intestine, and the death worm because it can spit deadly venom and electrocute its prey. After they've eaten another human, they turn into a tall, gaunt corpse-like being with sharp fangs that have shredded the former human's lips to nothing, bloody stumps where its feet would be, and transparent skin through which you can see its icy blood and heart of ice. It can turn invisible and ride on the wind to pursue prey, and it is always hungry. There are some of becomes a statue in Hell, able to hear everything said about her on Earth, almost all of which is nasty as various creatures surround here: Hydra, Chimera--a hideous amalgamation of a lion, a goat and a dragon, Cerberus, Orthrus, Prometheus' fate of being chained to a rock and having an eagle peck out his liver each day. Waking up scared; Cassandra was in dazed and wonders if she should talk to Dr. Bifrost. But then, Cassandra observed Arcturus and his Liderc self. Suddenly, Cassandra found herself absorbing Arcturus's powers and she became a Liderc just like him. This was then everyone was shocked by Cassandra, seeing her powers and her personality become darker than it did before. Now Cass has become some sort of clandestine lady.

The next day, Arcturus managed to catch up with Cassandra. "I got you something. for your belated birthday." said Arcturus. Cassandra looked at him with surprise, "How did you know?" She asked. Arcturus smirked at her reaction. "How didn't I know?" He said. "What is it?" asked Cassandra. "It's a photo frame." replied Arcturus. Surprised at this, Cassandra looked in and said to him, "Um....It's empty, you know." She remarked. Arcturus placed a picture of him. "Now it's full." He said. Cassandra smiles at this, "So is my heart. Thank you." She admitted. "You're welcome, Cassie." said Arcturus. Cassandra gave him a look, "No, not Cassie...Cassandra." She said. 'Cassie' is what her father used to call her when she was little. She hated it however every time she complained to her Dad, he'd get mad at her. Ridiculous! Cassandra sighed, "Jeez! I'm weird." "Yeah you are." admitted Arcturus. Cassandra gave him a look, before the two of them burst out laughing. Later; Arcturus would be doing his job as a Liderc, but when he returned human and back at Cass, he would hear her screaming. He went to the chamber and opened the door. "Hey, are you OK?" asked Arcturus. Cassandra had a nightmare of the prom massacre again but it was more like demons that the ones who killed her peers and friends. Cassandra thought she was in hell. She was screaming and thrashing about earlier. She was now startled to see Arcturus as she ducked her the covers in terror. "S--sorry, just ghosts haunting me in my dreams!" stuttered Cassandra. Then, she cursed softly to herself: "Oh sh--I forgot to take my meds." Cassandra got out of bed and went over to take her medication of Nepenthe and she went back to the bed. But she was too scared to sleep! Arcturus looked at her, "You scared?" He asked. "I--No! I just..." Cassandra didn't know what to say. "You want me to leave?" asked Arcturus.

"No!" cried Cassandra. "I want you stay by me. Please...Until I fall asleep." She was trembling so Arcturus sat on the foot of the bed. "I'll be here while you sleep." He said. Cassandra nodded, slowly her eyes drifted close and she dreamed again of many things: A shower, blood on hands, being pelted at, locked in a closet, the doors of a house shutting automatically, a pretty maroon-pink dress, a beautiful ballroom, a bucket of blood, the ballroom being destroyed, knives being thrown, the house debris and pieces as the place is now destroyed, and a gravesite. Was this visions of her? Of what's going to happen to her? No, she didn't want to think about death. Not since what happened to her friends. She feared death, she never want to die. But the visions changed: There was a girl in red who was wandering in a forest when she can hear are wolves behind her. She runs in fear as she hides in a house, the wolves were growling outside so the girl in red got an axe and she opened the front door where she slaughtered all the wolves in a blinded rage. Once it was all over; she was smiling psychotically while holding the blood stained axe. She is then seen with other silhouettes with weapons. Another vision showed of another girl fighting back, alongside some others but she remains trust in them. She is trembling in fear, crying as she trembled and shivered. Cassandra woke up to find herself in a garden, underneath a cherry blossom tree. The petals of the blossoms were falling off were cascading down like snowflakes. Cassandra saw this as she laughs joyfully. She was like a butterfly fluttering and fluttering in the spring, from flower to flower. It was so peaceful, being in someplace that wasn't awful. Cassandra has fallen into the river from a tree overhanging it, while gathering flowers. She lies in the water singing songs, as if unaware of her. Her clothes, trapping air, have allowed her to temporarily stay afloat. Cassandra is enjoyed throwing any object at his body and watching it bounce off of her harmlessly, she is pierced from a spear thrown by an un-name guy.

The spear is made out of mistletoe, which is fatal to Cassandra’s mind because mistletoe was apparently too young to swear an oath to not be able to kill her. People are upset at her bleeding. A man lies on top of a girl. There is a funeral with possessions. A dwarf getting kicked into the fire and burning into ashes. Cassandra watches with a slasher smile on her face. Cassandra is Judith and behead the general after he has fallen asleep drunk. The wide spurt of blood to the energy of Cassandra as she try to wield the large dagger. The effort her struggle and grasped by the fist of Ector as he desperately struggles to survive. The dark background is suggestive of night. Behind Cassandra lies a passage of richly painted drapery composed of browns and ochers that impart a golden warmth. Around her rests a thickly painted background of white chemise; set against this her naked flesh stands out for its solid form. Initially she appeared to be looking out of the corner of her eye, as if watching, her gaze is softened. Then, Cassandra depicted in front of a patterned forest-green damask. She holds an alabaster ointment cup. Cassandra seated at the center, her arms above her head as she arranges her coiffure. Preparing to offer herself, she holds a pose in a waist length gown that is whitish and rosy colored garments. She has a necklace and bracelets on her arms. She is staring out of the picture to the left. Behind her is a landscape of trees and sky. Cassandra was a ballerina in an underground place, doing all kinds of dance moves. Turnout, pointe, twirling and gliding. She feels someone on the left blowing her up to the surface. She is gliding up and looks down to see she is standing on a large seashell nude and modestly posing. She is displaying much grace as she carefully leans on one hip. Her hair flows gracefully as she is blown up to the surface. Reaching land; Cassandra picked some spring flowers: two of roses, and two of irises as she smiles.

This changes to other visions: An unpopular outcast young female student. The girl apparently spends much of her time drawing pictures, revealing that she probably has dreams of becoming an artist. She is largely shunned and ridiculed at school, considering that when she is told off by the lecturer for drawing in class everybody laughs at her and teases her, when she trips on the stairs nobody stops to help her up, and that when she tries to join a group of girls at a lunch table they immediately get up and leave. There are also self-inflicted cut marks on her arms. There others out there troubled like the outcast girl: Another girl who breaks a mirror, then writes "I'm nothing" onto a sheet of paper. She then picks up a shard of broken glass, clenches it in her hand, and smears her blood on the note. A woman is shown coming home to see a man, her boyfriend, with another woman in bed. The woman breaks down and hits her boyfriend repeatedly in a fit of rage. A man has apparently fell to his death. The deceased man is shown lying on a car's roof. The surrounding area has been taped off and is littered with investigating police officers as well as onlookers who are rapt by the scene. Cassandra is hiding in the bathroom and prays a rosary as she hears her parents arguing. She could hear her father yelling, her mother crying. Cassandra screams at her father, “Stop it, Dad!” But she knocks down a door. Cassandra wakes up to find herself sitting on the ground in a deserted, destroyed school hallway. She slowly begins to stand up and makes her way through the hallway. Cassandra then sees a teacher in a classroom who's stricken with fear and closes the door, realizing she is the cause of the damage. As Cassandra makes her way outside the school building, a police car arrives and the teacher rushes outside to tell the policeman about Cassandra. Cassandra then quickly rides a bicycle home to pack her things.

While at home, she sees a news report about the incident, causing her to quickly gather her things to flee. Several policemen then appear outside the front door of Cassandra's house, while she tries to escape through the back door. Cassandra realizes that the door is locked so she uses her telekinetic powers to grab the keys from the kitchen bench. The policemen then enter the house to find that Cassandra has escaped, Cassandra is running away from a SWAT team in the woods. Cassandra is caught by one of the men who pushes her to the ground. Cassandra using his supernatural powers once again to push the men away in a burst of power. Cassandra wakes up in a place with five doors. “Where am I?” She wondered. Looking around, she watched as the door open on their own. This startles her so she looks at each of the door. In the first door; Cassandra is walking a dog in a grimy, industrial setting. The dog urinates on an abandoned television lying on the pavement, causing it to sputter unexpectedly into life. This unleashes an evil spirit, accompanied by a gang of small children, all of whom bear grinning face and who appear to inhabit the abandoned buildings. The children go around wreaking havoc, trashing an alley and chasing a man into his car. The demon emerges from the television, screams in Cassandra’s face, who falls down but then she watches as children gathers around the demon. Terrified; Cassandra left that world as the first door closed on its own. "Geez!" Cassandra said with a sigh. "Now that--was creepy." So she moved onto the next one. In the second door is of a deranged Cassandra wearing a wedding gown, she wandering around an abandoned street in a tutu, birds fluttering around her and leaving droppings on her body, and of her riding a pig wearing a cowboy hat and covered with mud.

Cassandra left the second as that one also closes behind her. In the third door, Cassandra terrorized by a shadowy figured before she herself grows an extra set of limbs and is devoured by a giant arachnid. Cassandra screams as she wakes up to the doors. The third had already closed and Cassandra sighed with relief. She gets up as she enters the fourth door, Cassandra is surrounded by creepy wide-eyes and rictus grins of all the ordinary individuals. Then housewives, old ladies and little girls are accurately imbibed into a dark abyss at the center of a burning sky. Cassandra is stunned by this and leaves, dazed of what she saw. Now she entered the fifth, and the last, door shows innocent-seeming Cassandra as she skips down the street while someone follows her. As she descends into an underground area, he pulls out a cloth with chloroform. Just as he is about to attack, she screams and begins utilizing telekinetic powers to manipulate the person's body. She raises him into the air and contorts his body into a variety of positions, slamming him against walls and shooting black smoke into and through his body. Cassandra’s eyes turn the same color black. Ultimately she makes a final twisting motion with her hands, indicating she has killed the person. When she woke up, it was morning and she was in her bed. She let out a sigh, "Yeesh, talk about dream within a dream. Crazy what Nepenthe can do to someone with post traumatic stress disorder." She muttered to herself, clutching her head. During this time, Arcturus and his gang joined the agents of Silver Branch. In the meantime; Jack is working when he heard classical music and went to see where the music is coming from. He entered a room where he found Cassandra is dancing alone. He enters as he looks at her mesmerizing self. "What are you doing in here?" Jack asked. Cassandra stopped for a moment, she strolls over to him with a smile. "Dancing to this song, it's pretty is it not?" She replied.

Jack listened to the song and nodded, "It sounds nice. You dance very well." remarked Jack. Cassandra answered back with a grin, "Thanks, practice makes perfect." She lends out her hand, "Would you like to try it?" She asked. Jack looked nervous, "No, I don't think..." He started to say but Cassandra hold firm and said, "C'mon, just one second." Jack sighed, giving in. Cassandra lead him to the floor, she stood there with him as she instructs him of what he needs to do: "OK, first your gonna put your hand on my shoulder here. Good, now put you arm around my waist. Awesome! And I'm gonna..Oh wait, I made a mistake. There. We're gonna go slow, follow my lead but we'll do baby steps." answered Cassandra. Jack awkwardly placed his hands on her shoulder and then in her hand. "1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3...Oh!" Jack stepped on her foot, he then winced with shame. "I'm sorry." He said. "No, my bad! I went too fast." Cassandra apologized. Jack felt tears of anger in his eyes, "Ugh, forget this crappy--" He cried, he was about to pull away but Cassandra hold him tightly, "Uh, uh. C'mon, one little screw up. No blood, no foul. It's all good." She said. Jack leaned his head on Cassandra's shoulder, "I guess I'm more of a brute than a gentleman." He remarked. Cassandra smiled, "That's why I'm helping you." She reminded. Jack looked at her eyes, Cassandra looked back at him in his eyes and then she did something she never imagined. Leaning towards him, she pressed her lips against his. Jack was shocked, he felt slightly suffocated for a second. "Why was she doing this?" He thought. "I can't breathe but I can't help but taste her soft lips and that taste...Sweet mint...." Cassandra's kiss took a turning point, where Jack is letting himself give away of his powers. "No....No!" He thought. He unattached his mouth away and pushed himself back from her. They both were gasping, "I--I'm sorry, again." Jack said. "Ah! I forgot. Your powers...Forgive me, my bad." Cassandra apologized. "Let's keep this kiss between us." Jack said.

Cassandra agrees. But she gets a text from her father, which says: "I need you now." "Hello?" She called. Cassandra, Jack, and Arcturus looked around but found no one. However, they saw someone violently bashed them each with a shovel, and they lost conscious. Later, Cassandra wakes up to see that her wrists are bind together above her head and she is hanging a little from the floor. She looked over at Jack and Arcturus. They are also have their wrists bind together above but they have their mouths gagged. Cassandra saw her father, he had different sharp objects there. "Dad? What's going on?" Cassandra asked. Boreas turned to her, "Cass, I told you before....I told you....."  He muttered, taking a knife in his hand. "Daddy, this isn't right." Cassandra replied. Jack shouted at him but the gag in his mouth made a muffling sound. "Shut up, you abomination!" Boreas cried, punching him in the stomach. Jack let out a 'mmph!' and groaned underneath the gag. Arcturus tried to call his name however he couldn't say because it was muzzled. "You guys, you are all the same! Always come between me and my daughter!" exclaimed Boreas. Jack glared at him, but then he looked away with defeat on his face. "You flush her entire brain! You have no right! No right!" cried Boreas. "Stop, Father! I told you before, and I will say this again; I cannot trust you! Not for everything you put mama and I through!" Cassandra claimed. Boreas glared at her, "Oh? Then you won't trust me if I killed these three in front of you." He cried. The two of them squirmed, their moans and screams still muffling. They shook their heads, Cassandra shook her head. "No..." She begged. "Hell, I can do it right now! I would love to see their corpses covered in blood and guts if I want to!" Boreas screeched, he was going to really kill them. "No, Dad!" Cassandra screamed. Her telekinesis broke free of her bonds and she begin to attack her father, holding him at choke hold. She then freed her friends from the prison. Releasing them from their bondage. Jack and Arcturus were free as they released the gags from their mouths.

Jack embraced Cassandra, "Cass, you're OK." He said. "I am." admitted Cassandra. There was a loud scream as Boreas had his knife and stabbed his daughter, who topples down with Jack and Arcturus. Boreas found the three of them, "You know sin never dies? You gotta keep killing it!" He said in a creepy monotone. "Dad!" screamed Cassandra, terrified. But then, her powers to cause Boreas to trip as he almost fell on the knife but Cassandra caught it before his father was nearly stabbed himself. Boreas scrambled to his feet as an angry Cassandra blocks him from attacking Jack and Arcturus. "Get out!" Cassandra screamed, using her powers. "What's the matter, bitch?" exclaimed Boreas. "Out!"
