Chapter 1: Going Under

Previously.....

Tsuna noticed her crying, "Are you OK?" He asked. Usodori begin to cry a little, "It hurts, it....the memory." She sobbed. "Hey, hey, take it easy." Tsuna soothed, taking both of her shoulders. Wiping her eyes and rubbing her nose; Usodori cleaned her hands with sanitizer before turning back to him and asked, "Tsuna, do you think I can be healed?" "Of course, you can." Tsuna said in that same soft tone. Usodori took off her bathrobe, revealing to be in a lingerie, "Maybe you can...help me with that....." She said. Tsuna was horrified, "Wait, Usodori...I can't....." He started to say, but he could feel her hands as they runs greedily along his body. "Don't worry, this will be our little secret, OK? Nobody has to know, and remember this is....Healing." said Usodori, then there was some sort of shadow that resembled a blood symbiotic like appendage. Tsuna was horrified as the light in his room went out. The next day, Tsuna woke up and looked to see he was alone but could hear the shower running. Just then, there was a knock on his door and he went to go answer it, there was Hangaku standing there. "What are you doing here?" Tsuna asked, surprised. Hangaku looked guilty as she said, "I want to apologize, can I come in and talk to you?" She said. Tsuna opened the door wider, "Um, sure." He said, nervous that Hangaku would hear it but she didn't. "I didn't mean to say about Usodori, I just--I didn't want to jump to conclusions. I--I'm sorry." She said. "It's fine, she just...scares me." Tsuna said. "I know, guess she's been hanging out with that vixen so much." Hangaku said. Just then, the shower turned off and Hangaku turned to the closed bathroom door. She turned to Tsuna, "What's that?" asked Hangaku. Tsuna looked at her, "Nothing." He said. "Someone using your shower?" Hangaku inquired. Tsuna shook his head, "No..." He claimed but Hangaku wasn't buying it. She marched over and banged on the door, "Who's in there? Open up!" called Hangaku, she tried the door and found it unlock but gasped to see what she saw.

Usodori was staring at her own bleeding hand as her blood was formed into an appendage-like shape. "What. the. Hell." squeaked Hangaku. Tsuna was shocked too. Pad. Pad. Splish. Splish. The sound of feet in the water but this red flood was not water and Tamamo Mae responsible found a window broke open. There were clicking sounds and she turned around to see Kintaro and the gang. Kintaro called out, "Freeze! Don't make any sudden movement, Tamamo so surrender now." Tamamo Mae looked at them before she smiled and then outstretch her arms before falling into the ocean's abyss. A girl was sitting there by the mirror, she fiddles around with a hairpin and talking to no one in particular: "The pressures of life are coming down on me and is testing someone that is close to me. I am asking you if you can help me if I were to break down. This can also mean that I'm looking for security in my life. The life that I'm living was so stiff that there was just no excitement. There was no fighting and while most people would think that this would be a happy thing. I need some type of unpredictability in me and I cannot live this stiff lifestyle. She probably wanted to do more in life, but it never seems to get done and instead is always pushed off. I feel as though we will never do more in life. I tried to be someone I'm not, but it didn’t help me. It's not easy to pretend and eventually the real you comes out. After some soul searching, I found out who I am as a person. I understand me and I've become more self actualized. When your soul is so vanquished of light, that the birth of a newborn baby is dismissed, as meaningless as death, it boosts the image of depression into the ultimate state of despair and hopelessness....Love, which quickly arrests the gentle heart, Seized him with my beautiful form. That was taken from me, in a manner which still grieves me. Love, which pardons no beloved from loving, took me so strongly with delight in him that, as you see, it still abandons me not." Then, she fainted on the bed into a deep sleep.

"Give it up, Tamamo Mae, I don't feel that way 'bout you." confirmed Konohana. "I swear by my savior, you will love me--You and Oinari--come with me and you will see a brave new world unlike any other." Tamamo Mae said. Oinari and Konohana looked at one another before thinking of something, "Um, we love to but we can't. We have our friends, unlike you." claimed Oinari. Tamamo Mae laughed bitterly, "Who needs friends! Friends backstab, they betray, and use you to feel better about themselves." She replied. She managed to fight back against them both, while Konohana and Oinari are dodging from the vixen. "You know, I don't think Kin or Sayo would approve of that." answered Konohana. "And you're a traitor, hypocritical skeeze." added Oinari smugly. "Why fon't you find your own mates that are your type?" Konohana finished. Enraged at hearing this; Tamamo Mae screamed: "BITCH!!!!" Konohana let out a breathy sigh, annoyed, "Look TM--I don't know why you're like this. You're an obsessive, emotionally unstable, and crazy harpy. That's not what we need right now in our lives." She said. Tamamo Mae looked confused, thinking while turning back at them. "Dammit! You stupid girl! Why would you say that?" She demanded. "You're an ax-crazy stalker who killed a bunch of people, burnt down a school, lied to us, and cause the break up between me and the love of my life...Oinari." Konohana answered. Amazed by those touching words, Oinari couldn't believe she could say: "Konohana..." He whispered. Tamamo Mae's temper rising, "You. two make me. sick...DIE YOU DRAGON SHINOBI AND YOU BLOSSOM PRINCESS!!!!" She screamed. "Let me out!" Konohana begged, banging against the cage. Tamamo Mae turned to her, "Like hell, Blossom! Don't worry my little cereza bloom--You won't ever have to see GW again!" She said smugly. Konohana turned to the unconscious Oinari, shaking him while exclaiming: "Oinari, Oinari! Wake up!" Oinari stirred around and woke up, looking around. "Wha--What is this place? Where are we?" He mumbled.

Tamamo Mae stretched out her arms as she said, "Welcome to the broken remains of my former hideout." Oinari is stunt, "No, it can't be. It's coming back to me." He said, clutching his head. Tamamo Mae smirked, "Yes, the time I diced ya..Or try to." She replied. Oinari couldn't believe it, "No, why did you bring us back here? You know what you did!" He demanded. "Oh, I did? If you didn't go looking in places you shouldn't be in then I wouldn't be in this hell hole and you people wouldn't hate me." Tamamo Mae remarked. Konohana looked at her with disbelief, "Hate you? Oh please, we outright loathed you! You're a heartless killer for what you did to those people and that school." She spat. Tamamo Mae banged against the cage hard, startling them both. "STUPID GIRL, THEY WEREN'T VICTIMS! They bullied me and betray me in high school! A teacher defiled me of my innocence! And the school didn't do a damn thing about it!" She screeched. Konohana couldn't believe it as she and Oinari exchanged glances at one another, "Wait, hold on! Is that why you--?" She started to say but Tamamo Mae finished, "Yes, I got rid of them all! They were life ruiners who followed me as I begin to break!" She exclaimed. "What does that mean?" Konohana asked. Tamamo Mae realized what she said, however she shouted back: "None of you DAMN BUSINESS, YOU FRIGGIN' SUGAR BLOSSOM!!! You're too much of a ditz to know shit!" Konohana was hurt, "Geez! You're so hurtful, you know that? A manipulative, cold, and selfish girl who's needy! You're a liar! A psycho and you know it." She claimed. Tamamo Mae laughed, "You don't get it, do you? I am not a selfish girl--What a joke! How am I a selfish person? I saved Kintaro and Sayo from burning down the cesspool of a school OK?" She said. "Hangaku, there's something I have to tell you..." Tsuna said softly. Hangaku looked confused for a moment but then she had a horrified look on her face, "Wait, did you and her--?" She asked. Usodori begin to laugh, "Oh no, you got it all wrong. I forced him, he wasn't tempted. Besides he was so good at being vulnerable and submissive. He tried to beg, try to tell me no but he was so pathetic. My god! SO PATHETIC!!!" She said.

Hangaku looked even more freaked out, "She hurt you?" She asked. Tsuna nodded feebly, "She's crazy, Hangaku!" He rasped. Usodori heard this and lashed back, "Me? Crazy? It's not my fault you're a guy! You know what they say, 'A man's not a celibate.' You can't help it, can you? How pathetic! If you weren't so stupid, I would've penetrated further than that!" Usodori claimed. Hangaku couldn't believe Usodori said that, she was a nice girl. Why would she say those things? "You--How could you?" She started to inquired but Usodori cut her off: "Tamamo Mae taught me that you have to make sacrifices, doesn't matter who it is." She claimed. Hangaku was now disgusted, "Why you little brat, you are just like The Vixen!" She said. Usodori smirked at her, "When it comes to revenge, I'm just a good bad girl." She said. Tossing her hair, she sashayed away but not before running her fingers behnd Tsuna's back, who shuddered in horror.  Crossing off the names on her list; Tamamo Mae begin to mumbled to herself: "Two down, three to go.." She trudged away while she was muttering to herself: "Just you wait Okiku...You, Osode, and Tamiya are gonna have the reunion of your life. I killed those two...It was a way for Usodori to forgive me for the bum that I am."  In the meantime; a woman and a man sit around while smoking on a pipe for each of them as they talk about the past. "Yeah, so those two and a mother was involved with Onibaba and my man & I put them in their place. That mother, jeez, she was such a crybaby! How pathetic that butch was!" Otsuyu said. Saburo grunted, "That was a long time ago, babe." He said. "I know but it was priceless!" Otsuyu said, laughing. That night, while she was lying in bed; she noticed she wasn't alone and looked over her shoulder, "What the--?" She started to say, turning on the light and sat up but she looked horrified. "It's you!" She gasped. There was a hint of fire in there, followed by a terrifying scream: "AAAAAHHHHH!" Her lover heard her scream and came into the room, "What's wrong, babe? Babe?" He called out. When he entered the room; he was horrified to find his girlfriend was nothing more than a burnt skeleton. The whole room was black from smoke. "Oh my god! What happened?" He gasped. Then, Saburo felt a tap on his shoulder, "Huh?" He turned around and he couldn't believe who it was, "You--!" He said softly. Then, he felt a burning smolder of flames across his face which was the last thing he saw before he perished.

Then, Hoderi let out a whooping sound: "Woo! What a rush that was!" He said. "Yeah man!" echoed Hoori. Nezumi looked at him, "What's gotten into you guys? Have you lost your minds or something?" He asked. Hoderi laughs at Nezumi and said, "You're such a loser, Nezumi! You never had any fun!" Hoori laughed too as she said, "Now that firework disaster--THAT, was fun." Nezumi looked at her and asked his friends, "What? You mean you--?" He asked. "That's right, we did it and we'll do it again!" Hoderi said. Nezumi was terrified, he glared at them: "OH MY GOD, YOU BASTARDS!!!" He screamed. "You backstabbing, two timing assholes! We trusted you and you betrayed us! Both of you!" Hidari shouted. "Aww boo hoo! You babies gonna cry? Oh man, we haven't had much fun since the time we torture and ruined babydoll Usodori! Geez, what a prude!" Hoori remarked. Kincho looked shocked, "Excuse me?" He asked. "Yeah, her itty bitty baby behind--She was so asking for it! Her poor cherry got busted and split apart of her purity!" Hoderi shouted. Kincho heard this, "Oh--!" He rasped. "Yup, it's her fault! What a tramp, she's the loose!" Hoori screeched. However, the two of them are shot and burnt alive. The two of them are screaming with terrified. "IT BURNS! IT BURNS!!!! HELP US!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" They both screeched. "Are you OK?" Kincho asked. Nezumi shooked his head, "They betrayed us. How could they...?" He said softly. Kincho looked at him and tried to calm him down, "Take it easy, I know it's hard but.." He started to explain however Nezumi cut him off, "YOU DON'T KNOW, ALL RIGHT? I--ME, YAMATO, ZENNYO, AND HIDARI KNEW THEM SINCE WE WERE KIDS!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT STILL, WE WERE SO CLOSED, HOW COULD THEY....!" He shouted. He curled his knees up and hugged himself. Kincho looked at her with sympathy, "Freinds come and go sometimes. Their your friend one minut and then a few years later, they're a different person. The only good friends you have are those that cared about you. Keep on living, Nezumi, they are the true meaning of friendship." He explained.

How did this happened? How did they come her? Let's go back to the beginning, shall we?

Earlier before.....

Underwater was so beautiful for Sayohime, the blue was so wonderful and clear. But she had to focus, she had to remember what she came here for. She looked in the sand, she looked among the fishes, she looked in the coral, she looked in the seaweed but she found nothing! With a sigh, which her sigh formed a single bubble from her breath mask and she swam up to the surface. Gasping for breath; Sayohime took off her mask and snorkel gear. She takes off her fins as she reveals wearing her bikini. Sayohime went back to her friends with a disappointed look on her face.  “Did you find anything?” Kintaro asked. Sayohime shook her head disappointedly, “No, not really.” She said. “What do you mean ‘not really’?” demanded Oinari. Kincho shot a glare in his direction with his eyes, “Take it easy. She looked everywhere all day.” He said. Kintaro shook his head, “This can’t be right, nobody could disappear that easily in the water like that….” He said. Oinari let out a sigh, he dropped on his knees as he buried his head for one second, and looked up with irritation. “We’re wasting our time looking for her.” He complained. Sayohime sat in a mermaid position on a rock and looked among the blue sea. “Got any better ideas?” She asked. Nobody didn’t realized that a figure was swimming up to the surface. There was bubbles that the gang can see from shore. Sayohime was the first one to notice, “What is that?” She asked. The others gathered to see what she was pointing at. “Is it…Her…?” Kintaro asked. “No, could it be?” Kincho muttered. They watched in mixed feelings of amazement and fear as a figure emerged from the dead, a young lady it looks like. Tamamo Mae seized Kincho by the neck and they fell into the water. “Oh man, Kincho!” Hangaku shouted. Tamamo Mae tries to drown Kincho but he breaks free and swims, he gasped for breath. He dragged Tamamo Mae away, the vixen released her grip from him and ran away. “She’s getting away!” Kintaro cried. “After her!” Kincho called. They chased after the girl however they paused for a breath and they lost sight of her. “What happened?” Hangaku asked. “We lost sight of her.” Kintaro replied. “What?” Oinari asked in disbelief. “She was too fast!” Hangaku called. In anger, Oinari kicked a tree as she was distressed over their failure. “Dammit! She got away!” Oinari cursed.

In the meantime; Tamamo Mae ran from the beach of her pursuers, she looked back to see nobody was following her. Tamamo Mae begin to relax, as she walk ahead. She found herself in a city and looked around to see the sights. That night, Tamamo Mae  managed to get back to the land, to look for the people she encountered earlier. But when she got through the forest towards the beach, it was already vacant and getting dark. She was wondering when she was hand gagged from behind. “Gotcha! Can’t get away this time.” Kincho said with a leer on her face, same with Oinari. Tamamo Mae struggled, muffling but she thought she heard snickering from behind. Cold anger kicked in as she somehow she was glowing and she broke free from Kincho’s grip and let out a screeched. Kincho and Oinari fell to the ground as they look up in horror to see Tamamo Mae 's eyes glowing red. She found herself faced to face with Konohana and Oinari. During the battle, Tamamo Mae was fighting back like a harpy while Konohana defends herself from her.

She ran away and pulls out a sharpen weapon before climbing on the cliff. "Now with this shurikian, I'll slice my dear friend Kin and send him to the blood bath of his doom!" Tamamo Mae exclaimed. But she said to herself cheerfully, "That'll show them how much I really care!" She threw the shurikan at Kintaro, who dodged it with ease. Tamamo Mae cursed, "FRICK!!!" She screamed. "Watch it, you said a bad word." Kintaro chided playfully. "I said, FRICK, you ding dong! I didn't say 'F-U'!" Tamamo Mae spat. Just then, Tamamo Mae used her telekinetic powers and knocked out Konohana and Oinari. She looked over them and said, "Hope you forgive me for this." Waking up, moaning, Konohana finds out that she and Oinari are in a cage as she managed to shake it to be let free. Where are we?" "What does that mean?" Konohana asked. "Yeah, only one time when you were Kasuga at the time..." Konohana said. "I brought you and Sakuya together on a date." reminded Tamamo Mae. "...And you must have been drunk on insanity to even care." Oinari finished smugly. Tamamo Mae was about to let Oinari have it when she noticed something in the sky above: "What the hell is that? A bird? A plane? Heh, if that's Superman I'm gonna laugh because that is so old." Tamamo Mae muttered. Then, the figure made its way towards Tamamo Mae, Oinari, and Konohana. "Incoming!" A voice from above called out and used her powers towards Tamamo Mae, who managed to deflect but looked horrified at the voice above. The figure, that girl...."OMG, Can it be?!" Tamamo Mae gasped. Oinari raised his eyebrow, "Did she just say 'OMG'?" He asked, to Konohana. "Oh yeah." Konohana said. They both giggled to themselves, but found themselves freed from the cage. "Whoa, we're free! But how? Who is doing this?" Konohana asked. A voice called out: "You're friendly neighborhood agent! It is I, Cassandra!" She landed in front of the trio. "Oh no, it's her!" Tamamo Mae moaned. "Cassandra Endymion!" gasped Konohana. "Silver Branch's finest agent?" Oinari inquired. Tamamo Mae begin to pull at the ends of her hair, "Oh great! I think I'm getting an ulcer! No, an aneurysm! A meltdown! A breaking point!" She ranted, starking mad. "Tamamo Mae Shimo, you are wanted by Silver Branch and Great Watch!  This is an executive order, you must come with us immediately!" Cassandra called out, confronted her. Tamamo Mae looked at her, a smirk appeared on her face, "I have no intention on doing that!" She claimed. She fights back while Cassandra defends herself as she calls out, "Don't do this, Shimo! I know who you are!" "Back off, Cassie! Die, Friendly Neighborhood!" Tamamo Mae shrieked.

Debris begin to lift up in the air; she managed to fight back with psychokinesis while Cass uses her own against the vixen. "Surrender!" Cassandra called out. "You're gonna have to catch me--If you can!" Tamamo Mae taunted. The fight continued until Tamamo Mae almost swept Oinari and Konohana over the edge but Cassandra saved them and flew them both to a rooftop. Once then, they got them to safety. "There you go, safe and sound! You OK?" Cassandra asked. "Yeah, thanks! You were great!" Konohana praised. "Not bad, you really are one of the most finest agents." Oinari replied. Cassandra held her hands up, "Hey man, no worries!" She claimed. But noticed a couple looking on with worried glances, "Oh, sorry, don't mind us--These two lovebirds are using the stairs all right? No trouble really." Cassandra explained. And made her escape. In the meantime, Hangaku was shocked to see Usodori, who hid her bleeding hand and greeted them: "Hey you crazy lovebirds. How's it going?" Hangaku looked at her, "What are you doing here, Usodori? Why are you using her shower?" She asked. Tsuna pulled away for a moment to talk. Hangaku found herself looking into his eyes.

Earlier before; Usodori witnessed Tamamo Mae drunk. "Are you OK, TM?" Usodori asked in a timid tone. "What do you think, Usodori? Can't you see I'm having a hard time?" Tamamo Mae asked, drunk out of her mind. "Sorry." Usodori apologized. Tamamo Mae laughed, "You're so pathetic! Look at you, you look like crap! Your hair looks like you haven't brushed it in a while. Your boobs are sagging, you walk so slow like an old lady!!!" She shouted. Usodori was surprised to hear this, "I--" She started to say however Tamamo Mae continued, "If you keep eating crappy junk, you're gonna be fat." She said in a slurred tone. Usodori begins to break down in tears, "AUGH, YOU'RE DRUNK OK? YOU ARE AND I HATE IT WHEN YOU ARE!!!!" The next day, bored on an ordinary day; Nezumi Kozo and his friends: Zennyo Ryuo, Yamato Takeru, and Hidari Jingoro were bored when they overhear Kincho speaking with someone about his hometown, Dragon Village, is in shambles. The four of them is shocked by what was going on and they would like to go so Nezumi decided to ask. He came beside him and speak to him. "So, what's the Dragon Village?" asked Nezumi casually. Kincho looks at him, "The hometown where Oinari and I grew up." He said. Nezumi nodded, "I see." replied Nezumi. But then, he couldn't take it anymore and begged Kincho on his knees: "Can my friends and I come? We've heard of stories about this village! Please Kincho, it sounds awesome." He said. "Sure, I don't mind." Kincho shrugged. Nezumi looked at him, "That's it? No reluctance? That was easy." He said with disbelief. Kincho nodded, "Affirmitive. I must warn you though, the fires of dragons burns deeper than the flames themselves." He said. Nezumi felt awkward to hear this, "Um...OK." He said. But turned away with a confused look, "Whatever that means." He thought. After packing their things; Kincho, Oinari, Konohana, Nezumi, Hidari, Yamato, and Zennyo are in a plane as they went to their destination.

But they were shocked to see it! "Wow, look at this!" Nezumi said, looking out the window of the plane. His friends could see it too and they couldn't believe it. "Awesome!" Hidari praised. "It's the mystical valley of Dragons!" said Zennyo. "It's all I read and dreamed about." Yamato raved. Even Konohana was so amazed by how breath-taking it is, "It's so majestic, boys." She said. Oinari came beside her, "Yeah, it's spectacular." He said, putting an arm around her waist. "I'm glad you like it, Hana." Kincho said. Yamato couldn't stop talking about it, "The landscape, the places. It's so awespiring." He said. The plane landed on the ground while the others got their stuff unloaded onto the land. "Kincho? Oinari?" A voice called out. The two boys turned around, "Hoichi?" Kincho asked. The man grinned and came to embrace them both. "Hello my friends!" The man greeted, but he then noticed something. "Oh, I noticed that the master's not here." He noted. "No, he had some other things to take care." Oinari said. Hoichi nodded, "I see." He remarked. "Are you a Dragon Son ninja? Do tell, I stretch my ear to know more!" Yamato said excitedly, coming towards him almost too close. But his friends pulled away from Hoichi, "Take it easy, man! Geez!" Hidari scolded. "Sorry 'bout that." Zennyo apologized. Hoichi grinned, "No problem, it's OK." He assured. "I heard that there was a disturbance in the village." Kincho said. Hoichi got serious, "Yes, the General can see the villagers were possessed and left in a catatonic state." He says. Oinari and Konohana listened to this while the four boys looked around."It's that bad huh, do you know the cause of this?" asked Oinari. "Not quite, but the people here believe it's a dragon possessing them." Hoichi replied. "A dragon?" inquired Kincho. Hoichi chuckled, "I wouldn't think of that. If a dragon did, all calamity would come upon us!" He said. "Anything else?" Oinari asked. Hoichi nodded, "There's a witch here, sending criminals to their deaths. We thought she was a vengeful ghost but she's not." He explained. "Did you see her face?" Kincho asked. Hoichi shook her head, "No, it was hidden by a cloak. I couldn't see her, I apologize." He said. Kincho smiled a little in a reassuring tone, "It's all right, it wasn't important anyway."

Meanwhile; Nezumi and his friends were exploring this when someone was shouting the names of them. "Yo Kozo! Ryuo! Takeru! Jingoro!" A voice called out. Nezumi is stunt to see who it is, "Hoderi? Hoori? Is that you?" He asked. Two boys came up to the four of them, "Hey buddies! 'Sup!" He greeted. "What are you guys doing here?" asked Nezumi. Hoderi stretched, "Ah, just taking a vacation. So I heard the fireworks were a disaster, huh. Bum-mer man!" He said casually. "Yeah, it was full of dynamite powder, I mean we didn't know it was in there." Nezumi said, "Did you guys know?" Hoderi shrugged, "I didn't know, did you Hoori?" He said. Hoori shook his head, "Nope, not a clue." He confirmed. But little did Nezumi, Hidari, Zennyo, and Yamoto know were going to find out what was going on. That night; Kincho was asleep as he dreamt of the memories of his comrades were being killed by the water sirens who tear their bodies apart. Then, Kincho felt something entering his body and woke up screaming. This cause his allies and friends come to see him. "Kincho!" Oinari called out. Then, a voice cried out but it's not Kincho's voice but it's an accustomed voice that was growling and  effeminate: "KINCHO'S NOT HERE RIGHT NOW! IT'S US, HANA! OINARI!!! Remember US?! THE NIGHT PARADE!!!" The demon cried out. "Oh no!" Hana said. "Oh yes!!!! WE'RE BACK!!!!" Possessed Kincho cried out. He started to fight back however Nezumi and his friends are shocked. "Shit, what the hell?" Nezumi demanded. There was a lot of whooping sounds and Hoderi & Hoori were excited to see this. "Oooh man, demon possession!" Hoderi exclaimed. "How exciting!" Hoori echoed. "What the heck has gotten into those two?" thought Zennyo. Hoichi and the other villagers could see this, Hoichi could see Kincho was being possessed and realized what is going on. "Snap out of it, Kincho! You gotta fight it!" Hoichi screamed. Possessed Kincho is annoyed, "I told you, mindless fool! KINCHO IS GONE, THERE'S ONLY--!" He shouted but then, Kincho broke his own arm and the demon cried out in pain before the creature went away. Kincho is in pain where he broke the arm and Hoichi came to his friend's aid while performing surgery on his arms. Hoichi is a skilled surgeon as he put Kincho to sleep and cut his arm open.

He fixed the broken arm and fixed it up. As he was recovering; Konohana was concerned about Kincho, who looked distant away. "You think he's gonna be OK?" asked Konohana. "It's Kincho, he'll be just fine." Oinari assured him. As the sun was setting, Kincho was looking over the ocean when there was a fire bursting open in a hut and got everyone's attention. "Wha--?" gasped Kincho. Nezumi could see this too, "Oh man!" He said. They were running around and then, an explosive coming towards the two boys. Everyone were shocked by this, Nezumi was ashamed and decided to be alone for now. Later at night; Nezumi was alone and was shocked while miserable. Kincho could see him and decided to talk to him. Keep on living, Nezumi, they are the true meaning of friendship." He explained, "You're not as lonely as you think you are."

The next morning; the gang were packing up and ready to head back while saying farewell to Hoichi, who didn't want them to go. "Are you really leaving? You could stay. For old time's sake." suggested Hoichi. Kincho turned to his old friend with a smile, "That sounds like a genuine idea. But we can't. Duty calls, Hoichi. We'll visit you again old friend." He said. "This was fun! Uh, I mean the trip. Not the whole craziness and other stuff." Zennyo answered. Houchi nodded, "Next time, it won't be like this." He said. "And the next time we do come, I like to know more on the history of Dragon Sons!" Yamato said. But he is held back by Hidari and Zennyo, "Don't mind him, he's a nerd!" Hidari said. "Hey--!" Yamato said, he looked offended. "What a coincidence, so is Hoichi." Oinari said. Zennyo, Hidari, and Yamato looked surprised but Hoichi chuckled to that comment. "That I am!" Hoichi said, and everyone laughed. Everyone, except Zennyo who looked sad but he felt a pat on his shoulder. He turned around to see Kincho and was eased with a grin. Crossing off the names on her list; Tamamo Mae begin to mumbled to herself: "Two down, three to go.." She trudged away while she was muttering to herself: "Just you wait Okiku...You, Osode, and Tamiya are gonna have the reunion of your life. I killed those two...It was a way for Usodori to forgive me for the bum that I am." At night; two couples were smoking a pipe as the woman, Ostuyu, was talking to her husband, Saburo: "Yeah, so those two and a mother was involved with Onibaba and my man & I put them in their place.

Meanwhile; Tamamo Mae was sitting there by the mirror, she fiddles around with a hairpin and talking to no one in particular: "The pressures of life are coming down on me and is testing someone that is close to me. I want to be broken down. I may have let go of the person that was close to me. I'm being buried by the pressures of life. Yet I don't care because I don't want these people back in my life. I don't want to drag them down with me. For what I'm about to do. I blame myself for the failure of this relationship.  I need them both and I can't let go, but my desire for freedom is stronger. I acknowledges I've made a mistake towards these good people driving their lives to ruin and now I'm sorry but they won't listen as they have shut me out. Like I was locked out of Heaven.....I see the doors are red and I want to turn away from that color in despair. Because summer clothes are usually pastels and cheerful colors but I can't look at that until the darkness fades off into oblivion. There must be a funeral procession to this dead relationship in my mind where I mourns for the passing. Flowers are part of the ceremony, and my love is the corpse, the flowers on it’s grave. Everyone is watching me with pity, as they know that I am the one of the most bereaved, but no one wants to get caught staring at me. Love, which pardons no beloved from loving, took me so strongly with delight in him that, as you see, it still abandons me not." She felt so dizzy that she fainted on the bed and fell asleep.
