Chapter 3: Mysterious Discovery

"Captain Takumi, help! I need back up!" Kintaro begged. "Kintaro? Is that you?" asked the captain. "I--Hello?" Kintaro started to say, she hears something fizzled and hears a different voice that's not the captain. "I can get you out of this mess." A woman said. "Who's this? How did you hack into this?" demanded Kintaro. "We'll worry about that later, right now I'm gonna help you escape." explained the young lady. "What? Really?" asked Kintaro in surprise. "Yes, you see that bus over on your left? Get on! It'll get you away from those Wendigos. Hurry! Get on!" The woman said. "All right, whatever you say." Kintaro answered. He managed to hurry and get on the bus. He hurried to find a seat and sank in one finally, letting out a big sigh of relief. When he looks out the window; The monsters still onto him, his cell phone rings and he answers it. "How are you doing?" asked the woman. "All right, I'm on the bus but they're still onto me. What now?" asked Kintaro. "The side of the bus doors, you see them?" questioned the woman. "Yeah, you want me to open it?" Kintaro inquired."Yes." The woman said. "Hold it, you're not serious--" Kintaro started to protest. "Forget about that! Your life is in jeopardy! Do it now!!!!!" cried the woman urgently. "Fine!" Kintaro said. He opened them as he faced one of the Wendigos and kicked them, sending them flying. Kintaro laughed with amazement, the woman snickered with delight. "Splendid work, you are marvelous!" She complimented charmingly. "Heh, thanks...Tell me your name. You saved my life big time." said Kintaro. But then he heard a click and then the line went dead. "Hello? Hello? Anybody there?" Kintaro asked.
Just then, Momotaro's voice startled Kin as he turned around to see his brother but he wasn't alone. There was Sayohime, Tsuna, Kincho, Hangaku, Oinari, Konohana, Nezumi and his friends. "Bro, hey what happened?" Momotaro asked. "What the--? Did she contact you all?" Kintaro asked. "Yeah, weird." remarked Tsuna. Just then, Momotaro could hear someone in his ear of his communication: "You! Are you a comrade to this man?" The woman asked. Momotaro is surprised, "Huh? Oh, yeah...He's my brother." He said. The woman replied, "Good. Listen up everyone! I know you guys don't know one another and maybe not trust the other but I need all of you to work together." Kintaro looked at the others. Nezumi was intrigued, "Really?" He asked. Kincho thought about it, this could work. "Hmm, she has a point." He said, "We should give her a chance." In the meantime, Kincho was at a medical building. He uses his X ray vision but was surprised that Tamamo Mae was there getting a body check up. As her back was turned, Tamamo Mae took off her shirt. There, her back was marred with scars there. Usodori looked over with a blank look, "Not coming for me? Hm, hm, hm." She said. Then; she used some sort of gravity power to take out the Wendigos and used her powers to lead Kintaro and the gang to safety, they could feel themselves falling from the sky. "Why are we going down? What the hell is going on?" Sayohime asked. "Exactly what did you promise the girl?" inquired Kintaro. Once landed safely, Usodori laughed with excitement, "He promised me, that I'd join you guys." She said. "Sayo, do you know there are a few things I hate?" Kintaro asked, looking annoyed. Sayohime smiled with no humor, "Really?" She asked. Kintaro counted on his fingers, "Ninjas, warriors, and loons." He answered. Sayohime nodded with no emotion on his face, "Hmmm...." She mumbled. "So tell me, Sayo, WHY THE HELL DO WE HAVE ALL OF THEM IN THIS CESSPOOL IN THE FIRST PLACE?!" demanded Kintaro. Meanwhile; Tamamo Mae was at a hotel by the beach as she was drinking alcohol: sake, toso, and limoncello. The limoncello was a gift, it was from France, as she became so drunk that she was mean and misbehaving. Usodori didn't like her friend acting this way, Tamamo Mae would pass out and wake up the next day not remembering. When Tamamo Mae wasn't around, Usodori had smashed the bottles and made sure her friend didn't drink. Kintaro fought Amatsu Mikaboshi, Uke Mochi, Daruma, Amida Nyrorai, and Fudo Myoo. He was Rank 6! Right now; Ninigi, Tenjin, Omoikane, Hachiman, and Ekibiogami. He is now Rank #1!
On the news talks about sewer alligators: It was once a fad to bring back baby alligators for their children to raise as pets. These infant gators eventually grew up and outlived their cuteness, sad to say, at which point their desperate owners flushed them down the toilet to get rid of them. Some of these hastily disposed-of critters managed to survive and breed in the dank sewer system, so the story goes, producing colonies of giant, albino alligators beneath the streets of the city. Their descendants thrive down there to this day, completely hidden from human eyes. A young woman in town married a man from another part of the country. He was a nice fellow, and they got along pretty well together. There was only one problem; every night he’d go swimming in the river. Sometimes, he’d be gone all night long, and she would complain of her loneliness. The couple had two young sons. As soon as the boys could walk, their father began to teach them how to swim, and when they got older, he would take them swimming in the river at night. They would often stay there all night long, and the woman would stay home, alone. After a while, she began to act strangely; She told them that her husband was turning into an alligator and he was trying to turn the boys into alligators, too. Everyone told her there was nothing wrong with a man taking his sons swimming. That was just a natural thing to do. There just weren’t any alligators in the area, and everybody knew that. Early one morning, the woman came running into town from the direction of the river. She was soaking wet, her clothing dripping water. She said a big alligator and two little alligators had pulled her into the river and tried to get her to eat a raw fish. She claimed that they were her husband and her sons, and they apparently wanted her to live with them, but she managed to escape. Her doctor decided she had lost her mind, and he had her put in the mental institution for a while. After that, nobody saw her husband or children again. They just vanished. But every now and then, a fisherman would talk about seeing alligators in the river at night. Usually, it was one large alligator accompanied by two small ones.
Kintaro was walking home but his path takes him down a deserted city street. Suddenly, he hears a faint noise coming from the shadows. Kintaro glance over and see a beautiful woman standing there. She has long black hair and is wearing a beige trenchcoat. A surgical mask covers the lower half of her face that looked bloodied. She steps out of the shadows and blocks his path. “Am I beautiful?” she asks. Before Kintaro can answer, the tears off her mask, revealing a hideously deformed face. Her huge mouth is sliced from ear to ear and gapes open revealing rows of sharp teeth and a big red disgusting tongue twisting and twirling inside. “Am I beautiful NOW?” she screams. Terrified, he struggle to answer her. The woman seized Kintaro and revealed her teeth but the most sharpest is her fangs which they sank into his throat. Kintaro screamed, feeling some sort of fire burning his bloodstream and he passed out. Meanwhile; Sayohime enters a bathroom, washing her hands. She was terrified when she heard an ominous voice, "Would you like a bite?" "Sure." Sayohime said. Then, she felt teeth into her skin and screamed in terror. In the meantime; Oinari was walking home at night, he spotted a beautiful young girl standing by a windowsill resting on her elbows. They smiled at each other for a moment. Oinari wondered what a girl was doing in an all-boys school, but before he could wonder more about the girl she jumped out of the window and revealed to be a Wendigo. Frightened, Oinari stood in the sidewalk, but before he could run; the girl bite him! One night, Konohana could not sleep. She sat up in bed in the darkness and look to see the moon. Suddenly something caught her eye. She eyes of some animal. But she could not make out what kind of a creature it was. When the creature turned and moved in another direction, Konohana rushed to the door. But before should could open the door, it was back. She found herself staring through the window at a Wendigo. She wanted to scream, but she was so frightened that she could not make a sound. The Wendigo broke the window glass, straight at her. Konohana tried to flee, but the Wendigo caught her. It twisted pulled back her head so hard and sank its teeth into her throat. Konohana screamed and fainted from bleeding.
Tamamo Mae was filled with anger, hot boiling anger inside of her. All of a sudden; she felt the pain inside of her. In her rage of madness; Tamamo Mae peers at the sun, with hatred, wanting it to go away. When people stare at the sun, they will burn their retinas, and all will go black. Revenge is what a bitter person means when they laugh, but, there’s nothing funny. Tamamo Mae's heart is so polluted, that she is going to see everything tainted and her rejected love will be avenged. Tamamo Mae goes from seeing a bright and cheery red door, and paints it black, to wanting everything to be black, for everyone, and by blotting out the sun, it is all over for every living thing, and she’ll get her revenge.
How could this be? When did this happen? Let's go back, shall we?
Earlier before....
"Kazusasuke is dead? He was supposed to be my next person to take down and you're telling me he's dead?!" demanded Kintaro. Sayohime was rubbing her hand over her forehead, "I don't know, all I know is that he was killed out of rage by Tamamo Mae." She explained. "Tamamo Mae? You mean that timid girl who looked shy?" asked Kintaro. "That's her. Boy, I wouldn't want to piss her off." remarked Sayohime. But then she thought about what Takumi said, "You sure you want to work with these guys?" asked Sayohime. Kintaro was uncomfortable, "I don't know, I mean..." He started to say. Sayohime sighed, "Come on, it's a team." She said. Kintaro sighed, "I know, I got work to do." He said. Kintaro left while Sayohime watch him go, she knew how he felt. The trauma in the war was wearing him down and Sayohime wasn't sure what to do about his struggles, "Oh Shippei. What would you say if you were here?" She whispered to herself. In the meantime, Kincho was at a medical building. He uses his X ray vision but was surprised that Tamamo Mae was there getting a body check up. As her back was turned, Tamamo Mae took off her shirt. But she lost her footing and fell down, Usodori tried to catch her however she fell alongside her.
They were bruised, bloodied but somehow they were alive nevertheless they were barely breathing. However a mysterious figure with dark skinned and light blonde hair that looks almost whitish. Alongside him is another blond but she looked light tan around her skin. When Tamamo Mae woke up, she was on the cot and she didn't know what this place was but she saw someone familiar. Tamamo Mae recognized Kincho who has Hangaku there as well. "It's you!" gasped Tamamo Mae, "What do you want?" Kincho approached her, "I'm here to help you, Tamamo Mae." He said. "I don't need help. I'm..." Tamamo Mae said, pretending to be fragile but Kincho spoke up: "Drop the act, I know what's going on and that's why I'm going to give you an injection." Tamamo Mae was surprised, "Why?" She said. "To give you power, you really want to see your precious friend, Oinari, and Konohana?" replied Kincho. Tamamo Mae's eyes filled with tears, then she spoke out: "Please, help me. Help Usodori." As Kincho gave her the injection; Tamamo Mae's vision was a red monochrome and she felt so dizzy. When she woke up, she begin to have a nosebleed and saw illusions of demons. She screamed in utter terror until she discovers her powers: Telekinesis, telepathy, regenerate healing, absorb powers and thoughts from others through skin contact, darkness, and blood. Meanwhile next on his list; Kintaro fought Idaten, Aizen Myoo, Bimbogami, Yakushi Nyorai, and Kannon. He is Rank 11! Kintaro had to battle and killed Mizuchi, the leader, by burning him too on a pyre. Once he was done; he saw Wendigos ganging up on him and begins to get away but they followed him. It was getting ugly however he doesn't know what to do. He pulled out his cellphone and contacted Captain Takumi. It ringed once. Then three times until he finally picked up.

Usodori claimed. Kushinada replied, "Me too." Then, Usodori approached Kintaro and the others, she was quiet for a moment before saying: "Everyone...This is Cousin Kushinada." She said. Kintaro and the others are shocked by this. "Cousin?" Momotaro asked in disbelief. "Your cousin?" inquired Kintaro, "You have a cousin?" Usodori nodded, then to her cousin she said: "Kushinada, these are my friends." Kushinada smiled, "It's nice to meet all of you, my cousin is a sweet thing isn't she?" She said. Kintaro cracked a smile, "Yeah. She's strange but she sure is cute." The woman who communicate them did not respond to anyone and the gang wondered who it was. Later on, Kintaro and his allies are now a team. But Kin is not sure if he can handle it, he's irritated by the others. "Sayo, do you know there are a few things I hate?" He successfully kills him while also finding out the leader's name. His name is Mizuchi. In the meantime; Tamamo Mae was found in the forest all shaken with fear and was brought in at Oban. She wandering around the building when she saw Oinari talking to Konohana. She hid but peeks out as she could see Oinari and Konohana embracing each other. Green with envy; Tamamo Mae went into the bedroom she was provided with and she sat there for awhile as she decided to use her powers to make everything in her room levitate telekinetically. The sound attracts the attention of Oinari and Konohana: "Tamamo Mae? You up?" Konohana asked. Tamamo Mae didn't hear her but saw her and Oinari coming up. "Tamamo Mae!" Konohana called, she was about to open the door however Tamamo Mae telekinetically turned off the light and pretended to be asleep. "Oh, she's asleep Oinari." Konohana said. She placed an object down and caressed Tamamo Mae's hair in a motherly way. "Sweet dreams, TM." She whispered. Before she and Oinari could leave, the object thrust into the wall. Konohana gasped, she looked over and then she looked at the seemingly asleep Tamamo Mae. But she and Oinari shrugged before leaving, closing the door. Once the two of them were gone; Tamamo Mae opened her eyes as she smiled and giggled to herself. Right on the next of the list; Ninigi, Tenjin, Omoikane, Hachiman, and Ekibiogami. He is now Rank #1! But he wasn;t out the woods just yet, Kintaro confronted Mizachi and burnt his body after defeating him--Finally getting his revenge and clearing his name. The three friends stood motionless in the darkness, then something of a Wendigo. It attacked Hangaku and then there was a struggle between the creature and her, Heyoka tried to get the monster off her however the Wendigo seized her arm and bit her in her wrist. Lucky for those that got bitten, they were all right. They were told that the Wendigos had bitten them but there was a non-lethal serum inside of them that's not that bad. But Kintaro and the gang were pretty nervous of what's going on.

Later; Tamamo Mae was in a red and black checked room, her feet are against the wall while she lied on a white bed and begin to talk to herself again as she giggled wickedly mad: "Somewhere, something is stopping us from being together and I don't know what. I'm about to snap. I want to be a significant part in his’ life. I want him to tell me how it should be between us, a make or break. I'm so desperate for him that I will climb my way to him. No matter how hopeless it seem, I won’t give up because I've waited too long, yet I don't get any love back from him. The next day; Oinari and Kincho were sparring with one another while Konohana and Hangaku watched. Hangaky noticed Konohana swooning over Oinari, "You know, Konohana, you should totally ask Oinari out." She suggested. Konohana was surprised, she blushed and looked away. "Me? She remarked. Konohana gave her a double glance at her and Tsuna. "What? No!" She replied. "I'm serious, I heard of rumors about him being a half human, half freak." Hangaku explained. "What kind of freak?" Konohana asked. "Just those Wendigos maybe. Totally weird." Hangaku whispered. "He's not weird, does he drink blood or eat flesh?" Konohana asked with concern. "I don't know, not that I know of." Hangaku said, "But I heard that his dad was a Wendigo hybrid, a really freaky one. As it said, this guy was once human before he turned into a Wendigo. Tsuna's mom found out she was pregnant with him, she was scared and wanted to abort the baby." Konohana gasped, "No kidding?" She said, "What happened to the father?" Hangaku shrugged, "My guess is that she shot him and they found her crying. Poor thing." She said. Unknown to the girls; Tsuna was actually listening! He looked over at Hangaku, "Who does that girl think she is? She doesn't know anything about me!" He thought. Tsuna turned away in disgust, he couldn't believe it. Back with Oinari and Kincho; their sparring continues. "What's wrong, Oinari?" Kincho said, "Tired yet?" "No, not exactly!" Oinari panted. He continued to fight as Hangaku, Konohana, and Tsuna watched. Then, there was this laugh and everyone turned to see Tamamo Mae, coming down the steps in a jacket and jeans with black boots. "You call that a battle?" She remarked, "Please! That was boring! Maybe I can demonstrate for everyone on how much a fighter I am."
"You want to fight both of us?" Oinari asked. Tamamo Mae smirked, "Yeah, that's right." She said. Kincho was calm but his tone was disbelief, "You can't be serious." He answered. Taking off her jacket; Tamamo Mae revealed to be in a tank top, "I am dead serious." She said. Oinari and Kincho glance at one another with their eyes before looking back at Tamamo Mae, "You don't stand a chance." Kincho warned. The vixen cocked an eyebrow, she smiled in a mischievous way. "Wanna bet?" dared Tamamo Mae, "Come at me." Oinari chuckled a bit, "You're gonna get hurt." He said. "Just do it." Tamamo Mae said in an annoyed voice. Oinari went first, "Here I come." He said, letting out a growl however Tamamo Mae dodged that, she used a kick to send him backwards. Oinari didn't flinched and tried again but Tamamo Mae blocked that. Hangaku smiled, Konohana's eyes were wide with impressiveness. Tamamo Mae laughs, "You trust your eyes and strength too much, Oinari, you're not a chameleon you know. And neither you're a wrestler. Can't see everywhere at once." She said. But she didn't know, Kincho grabbed her from behind, Tamamo Mae managed to get away but Kincho punched her. "Ohhh--!" Konohana gasped, covering her mouth with both hands. Hangaku smirked. Tamamo Mae glanced over at Kincho with a grin, "Bad move." She remarked. She took down Kincho and Oinari one by one, but they still weren't going to back-down. Tamamo Mae was excited, "Come on boys, I like the fitness program here--It's a good workout." remarked Tamamo Mae. Oinari tried to attack however Tamamo Mae was quicker, much faster! She was seized by her wrists by Oinari, but she clapped her hands together and took them down before he hit him baseball bat style. Oinari was stunt by that, "How is she doing that?" He asked. Tamamo Mae shuffled, "You boys are tense, I'm calm. Fluid. You gotta be fluid--like water." She explained.
When she left the training room; she could hear Usodori singing to herself softly, "Flies in the moo juice, shoo shoo fly...."; Tamamo Mae walked but she has a smile on her face, "Every single tiny microscopic little thing must go according to plan. And it is, almost a few pieces in place....Samon will receive the karma that she so deserves." She thought to herself. Reflecting her was a hood like cloak and wore a helmet. Tamamo Mae laughed maniacally as she skipped away. Unknown to her, Kintaro watched her but squint in apprehensive at her. He knows something is wrong with her and he was going to find out what it is.
