Chapter 5: Broken Hearts and Broken Minds
There was a girl talking to herself in a depressing monologue about love and betrayal that she was the one that she caused to others and feeling remorse: "I think people are made up of things that you cannot see at first glance. People are made up of their thought and beliefs, desires and fears. All things you cannot tell by first meeting someone. But Oinari was real to me, he wasn't made up. He was truth, the love of my life. I now reflect with wiser eyes and realizes how easy it seemed with Oinari. Are we going to make it through these hardships and stay together, Oinari? I wants things to get better but ultimately it doesn’t work out. I miss him a lot, every detail I loved. I broke up with the man that was in love with, I love him and he’s all I can think about. When I'm with everyone; I hide that I'm upset, but when I'm alone, I can’t handle it still. I remember another time when we vowed that we'd would be together forever. Now I know that my life has changed and I'm no longer in the beautiful time when Oinari and I could be together. I'm unsure of where my life is heading. I don't like reality for its harsh and unforgiving nature. I do have a good life, I was too busy to notice what is going on around me. I feel like I keep jumping from one short relationship to another. Like I keep myself from getting hurt." This is about love, broken hearts, but also broken minds. Something deadly is about to happen. First, a break up: Oinari was hurt by this, "Fine, I see. Maybe we shouldn't talk anymore." He said. Konohana felt emotional, "Don't do this, Oinari." She said. She try to grab her but Oinari pushed her away. "Let go of me." He said. "I'm sorry, I--!" Konohana apologized. "If you feel she's not a parasite to you, that's fine by me." Oinari said. Konohana was hurt, "OK, you know who's a parasite? You are!" She shouted. Hurt, Oinari clenched his hand in his fists and stormed off while calling out, "Fine, so are you! I never want to see the likes of you again!" "Good riddance!" hollered Konohana.
Tamamo Mae was heartbroken and ran away in sight. "No, this can't be happening, how could they...NOOOOO!!!!!" She cried as she thrashed around violently and wrecked what was in her path as she screamed, "THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE TOGETHER, THEY WERE....!!!" She sanked to the ground sobbing. Two weeks later since the breakup; Konohana got out of her depression when she went to her best friend from childhood, Hakudo Maru. Hakudo is surprised to see her friend. "Konohana, where have you been Little Flora?" Hakudo asked, happily hugging her. Konohana giggled gleefully, "I don't know, I brought something." She said. "What is it?" Hakudo inquired excitedly. Konohana pulled out a pretty flower, it was orange and it glowed like the sun. "Oh..." Hakudo said. "It's for my training. I need to do somethng to keep myself occupied." explained Konohana. "And you want me to help out?" Hakudo asked. "Yeah, Hakudo. You're my best friend, everything to me that a friend is." Konohana said. Hakudo's eyebrows raised, "Ahh, cool. Getting me hot and bothered, sweetie?" He joked. Konohana playfully nudged, "Shut up, don't talk that way to me." She said. Hakudo was amazed, "Oooh, take it easy. You wanna start baby girl?" Hakudo said. "Only when you are." answered Konohana. "What's wrong, Konohana?" asked Tamamo Mae. Konohana looked troubled, "I'm sorry, I'm trying to get over my broken heart but I can't...." She said, "Besides, I thought you liked girls and you were Sappic." Tamamo Mae replied, "I'm not Sappic, I'm AC-DC." "Sorry, I'm not like that." Konohana said. Tamamo Mae got stabbed in the heart again, not just by Oinari but by Konohana too. "I see. I'll be going now." Tamamo Mae said sadly. Konohana felt guilty, "TM, Tamamo Mae!" She called but Tamamo Mae packs up and leaves.
Oinari came to visit Usodori, whom she is not speaking to him. "Usodori, hi." Oinari said. Usodori rolled her eyes, "Oh great, I guess you can smell my retard-dation huh?" She said. "Hey, don't be that way. You still haven't forgiven me yet?" Oinari asked. "No, unless you apologize." Usodori snapped. Oinari was frustrated, "I did and you still didn't respond." He said. "You gotta mean it, man." Usodori said. "Can't you just forgive me? I want to take you out on an adventure." Oinari begged. Usodori looked at her, "Don't you have Konohana?" She asked. Oinari looked sad, "She and I broke up." He said. Usodori's attitude changes, "Ohh!" She gasped softly. "Yeah, so you want to go?" Oinari said. Usodori nodded and Oinari takes her to the bookstore. But that night, he was surprised to see a visitor. It was Tamamo Mae, her back was all he could see. "Tamamo Mae, what are you doing out here?" Oinari asked. Tamamo Mae didn't turn around, "Nothing." She said. Oinari walks over and stares at her, "Look at me." He said. Tamamo Mae did, and Oinari could see her tear stained face. "Are you OK?" He asked, looking at her with sympathy. Tamamo Mae feebly shook her head, "No..." She said, choked up. "What happened?" asked Oinari. "I got my heart broken, that's all." said Tamamo Mae. "You have huh. Want to stay here?" Oinari offered. Tamamo Mae looked up, "Sure, I don't want to be too much trouble." She said. Oinari shook his head, "You won't. And between you and I, I'm pretty crestfallen too." He replied. Tamamo Mae nodded, "I see." She answered. Oinari helped her up, "Come on in, I'll make you something to eat." He said. "Thanks, I love some." Tamamo Mae said. "What's wrong, Oinari?" asked Tamamo Mae, hurt. Oinari looked troubled, "I'm sorry Tamamo Mae, I'm trying to get over my broken heart but I don't think can...." He started to say. But Tamamo Mae knew what he was going to say, "I see. I'll be going now." She said as she begin to pack her things and leave as Oinari begged her, "TM, Tamamo Mae wait!" But Tamamo Mae didn't listened as she left while she decides to go to Konohana, she thought about her past and begin to cry.
It seemed Konohana could hear her, she came outside and saw her. "Tamamo Mae, is that you?" She called, "What's the matter?" Konohana rushed over to her. Tamamo Mae choked out, "Nothing, just getting over my crestfallen despair." She said. Konohana looked at her with shock, "You too?" asked Konohana. Tamamo Mae nodded, wiping her tears. "Yup. I heard you and Oinari broke up." She said. Konohana looked annoyed, "Yeah well, I don't feel like dating anyone." She said. Tamamo Mae nodded, "I know that feeling, can I stay here overnight?" asked Tamamo Mae. Konohana nodded, "Sure." She said. Tamamo Mae grinned, "Thanks." She said. Konohana made Tamamo Mae dinner and brought out drinks. Tamamo Mae drank as well as ate. "Thanks for all this, Hana. You're such a sweetie." Tamamo Mae gushed. Konohana smiled, "It's no problem, anything for a friend." She said. "So, I heard you and Hakudo are hooking up." Tamamo Mae said with a sneaky look. Konohana was surprised to hear this, "What? No, I--Well. He has something for me and I do too. As much as I want to forget about him. But Oinari is on my mind." She said with anger. Tamamo Mae nodded, "I see, so Hana?"She asked. "Yes?" Konohana replied. "Have you been kissed by a girl?" Tamamo Mae inquired. Konohana looked at her funny, "Why would you say that?" She asked. "Because you're beautiful and I think I'm in love with you." Tamamo Mae said. Konohana just laughed, "You're drunk." She remarked. Tamamo Mae laughed too, "No, I'm not." She answered. "You were a psycho once and now look at you. You're talking crazy." joked Konohana. That somehow ticked off Tamamo Mae and jumped up, screaming: "I! AM NOT! CRAZY!" Then there was a horrible discovery: "What? Is that Ka...Ka...?" Konohana stuttered. "Kasuga?" A voice said. Oinari and Konohana turned around, there she was standing there. Wearing a kelly green dress. "Tamamo Mae!" Oinari said. Tamamo Mae smiled in a sadistic manner, "Ah, my secret has been discovered. You caught me red handed." She said but glares at Konohana, "You were so stupid, weren't you Konohana? So naive, so stupid!"
Then she looked at them and said, "Why don't you come with me? You two and I could have a better life than with Great Watch! You will never see them again!" "NO!" Konohana said, she was about to leave but Tamamo Mae stopped her: "What's wrong? You look so sad, don't you love me?" She asked. Konohana shivered. "I can't....I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH SOMEONE WITH YOU!" shouted Konohana. "You're such a freak, we don't want to be your friend!!!!!!" Oinari hollered, the two of them ran away. "What? What's wrong?" asked Oinari. "The door won't open." Konohana squeaked. Oinari was horrified by this, "Great!" He groaned. But the two of them stopped in their tracks when they heard Tamamo Mae's voice, "Oooooinariiiiii, Konohanaaaaaa...." Oinari trembled, "Crap!" He said. "Oh no!" gasped Konohana. She try to jiggle the handle, "Come on, come on!" She moaned. But the door behind them burst open and Tamamo Mae appeared with insanity in her eyes, "I FOUND YOU!" She cried. "AAAAHHH!" Konohana screamed. She try jiggle it harder so she used her psychokinesis and broke the door down, Oinari grabbed her hand and they ran for their lives while the insane, passionate Tamamo Mae chased them down with a sickle waved around. Oinari and Konohana turned a corner and was surprised to see Kincho and Hangaku, they frozed for a moment. "Oinari!" Kincho said. "Kin--Kin--Kincho!" gasped Oinari. Tamamo Mae came from behind, "What are you two waiting for?" She asked in a frazzled tone, "GET THEM!!!" But Kincho and Hangaku just let the couple run past them. Tamamo Mae let out a screech, Oinari and Konohana were in a room full of objects and try to find a place to hide. They hide behind a shelf and waited. Tamamo Mae, Hangaku, and Kincho came in the room to search for Oinari and Konohana. "FIND THEM, FIND THEM AND BRING THEM BACK TO THE ROOM!" Tamamo Mae's voice ringed out. Hangaku and Kincho searched the room, Kincho managed to find Oinari and Konohana hiding but he doesn't say a word. He walks back to Tamamo Mae, "M'lady, they are not here." reported Kincho. "What? Check again!" Tamamo Mae demanded. "Why look again when they're not here, let's find them in a different area..." suggested Kincho. Tamamo Mae growled, "YOU SELF RIGHTEOUS BASTARD!!!!" and kicked Kincho to the ground.
How can this be happening? How did they all came here? Let's turn back time and find out what really happened, shall we?
Earlier before....
In Kintaro's dream; He was on a war battlefield but there wasn't a battle going on. "Where am I?" Kintaro wondered. Just then, there was a figure in a black military outfit. "Hello Kintaro." said the figure. "Who are you?" asked Kintaro. "You don't know me? My name's Kagutsuchi." said the figure. Meanwhile; Sayohime woke up in a field of swords, "What is this? Hell?" She asked. "You silly girl, this isn't Heaven nor is Hell, if there was Hell." said a voice that sounded falsetto. The figure appeared of the voice appeared wearing a fedora and black trenchcoat with clawed fingers. "My name is Mononoke and this is the Field of Assassins." said the falsetto voice. Oinari woke up in a temple, "Am I in a dream? This is like the Dragon Temple back in my village." He said. "Yes, you are correct." said a man's voice. Oinari turned around, there was a man with a collar resembling a wheel around his neck and he has a bald head. "Forgive me for asking, are you a priest sir?" Oinari inquired. "You could say that, I am Wanyudo." said the man. In the meantime; Konohana wasn's sure if she was dreaming, she found herself in a lush garden and a rainforest all combined in one together. "Paradise, is this paradise?" Konohana asked breathlessly. "Better than the Garden of Eden." said a woman's voice, "If there ever was one." Konohana turned around, there was a woman with slightly green skin and thorn-like hair. But she was barefooted and had flowers in her vine like hair, white oleander and belladonna flowers. "Are you Mother Nature?" Konohana asked. "Me? Maybe." The woman said with a laugh, "My name is Harionna." In her meditation, Hangaku was by a river, "Wow, it's pretty here." She said. "It is, your mind brought you here." said a soothing woman's voice. Hangaku turned around and saw a woman there. "Who are you?" She asked. "My name is Satori and I would like to know you more about you." These figures may seem harmless but they are deadly types called oni and they look like trouble than nice or any guidance. In the meantime; Hangaku was instructed to spy on Tsuna and is shocked to see him in battle. How he becomes a Wendigo and faced off his own kind.
When the battle was over; Hangaku came from her hiding spot to confront Tsuna. "What are you doing here? Just tell me, who are you? Really?" Hangaku demanded. Shock to see her; Tsuna felt weak and he fainted. He fell unconscious, but he felt himself being carried away. His head was up from the water he was underneath before. The next sound he heard was the birds chirping and the ocean was calm. Tsuna was astounded, confused by this pretty sight. "Wha--?" He thought. "Wow...This place is so beautiful." He said softly. Just then, he saw someone showering under a waterfall. Tsuna blushed, the girl turned around and screamed, covering herself: "AAAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? DON'T YOU HAVE ANY BOUNDARIES?!" She shouted. Tsuna backs away, "Sorry, I didn't know!" She said. However, they are attacked by Wendigos. Hangaku got dressed and help Tsuna faced him, she is confused by how monstrosity he is. But during that time, Hangaku fights them but during that time; she said, "Is it me or are these guys disgusting?" "More like you are." Tsuna said. Hangaku glared at him, "What does that mean?" "You don't know? Well, aren't you hurtful aren't you?" mocked Tsuna. "Why are you mad at me?" demanded Hangaku. Tsuna glared at her, "Because of what you said." He said. Hangaku was confused, "What do you....? Wait..." She said. And she begins to remember: "Tsuna? He's a freak, right?" She remarked. Konohana gave her a double glance at her and Tsuna. "What? No!" She replied. "I'm serious, I heard of rumors about him being a half human, half freak." Hangaku explained. "What kind of freak?" Konohana asked. "Just those Wendigos maybe. Totally weird." Hangaku whispered. "He's not weird, does he drink blood or eat flesh?" Konohana asked with concern. "I don't know, not that I know of." Hangaku said, "But I heard that his dad was a Wendigo hybrid, a really freaky one. As it said, this guy was once human before he turned into a Wendigo. Tsuna's mom found out she was pregnant with him, she was scared and wanted to abort the baby." Konohana gasped, "No kidding?" She said, "What happened to the father?" Hangaku shrugged, "My guess is that she shot him and they found her crying. Poor thing." She said. Coming back to reality; Hangaku was shocked by this, "Oh my god, I can't believe it." She said. "Yeah, you're a monster." Tsuna said coldly. Hangaku felt so guilty, he didn't know Tsuna was listening and felt like a jerk. Along the journey; Hangaku and Tsuna were uneasy around each other as well as shy. It wasn't enought to break this tension until they were confronted by Wendigos and Hangaku felt herself seeing past the beastly side of Tsuna's Wendigo and saw something far more beautiful on the outside and the inside.
During a struggle against a Wendigo; Tsuna was bleeding when the monster escaped as Hangaku tried to help him but both were remembering their lives with one another was hardships and Tsuna's wounds healed immediately. Hangaku is relieved to see him and the the couple embraced one another. "I thought I'd lost you." said Tsuna. "Me too, I'm glad." said Hangaku. They pulled away from one another and looked at each other. "I um..." Tsuna stuttered but Hangaku lean over and kissed him on the lips. When she first met Tsuna, Hangaku made it seem like she just wasn’t that type to fall in love, and she’s telling him to not get his hopes up because she’s not going to fall in love with him. Hangaku scoffed at the thought of love because it’d been a painful experience for her in the past, and she wants to shield herself from that happening again. But Tsuna knew what was wrong and opens up that he will always love her if she could just give him a chance. Later, Tamamo Mae entered her house, where she lives there with her divorced mother. "Hey Mom, I'm home." Tamamo Mae called. Her mother turned to her, "Hi honey, how was your day?" She asked. "It was awesome. Mmm, smells good." Tamamo Mae remarked, sniffing the air. "I knew you like it, it's your favorite--yakitori." said her mother, Oiwa. Tamamo Mae hugged Oiwa as she said, "Cool, Thanks Mom!" She said. Her mother gently pulled away, "Honey, I had that bad dream again. The fire, the ritual..." She started to say as she begins to cry. Tamamo Mae wrapped her arms around her mother, "Oh Mom, it's OK. Listen, I'm going to find a job and make lots of money all right?" assured Tamamo Mae. Her mother nodded, "I know, I don't think I have enough to pay for the bills, and the groceries, and the food stamps." She said, her voice is choked up to crying. "Oh Mom...." Tamamo Mae said, crying too. In her room; she looked a photo of some people and her mother. She begins to sob once more, "Mother, I had to hold my tongue...I wanted to tell you the truth but it's just too cruel...FORGIVE ME!!!!!" Tamamo Mae said, ripping the picture as she begin to heave into sobs. She thought of a dark blue haired boy with a rosy pink haired girl in his arms, "Hikoboshi....Orihime...." She muttered to herself. One day, after awhile of dating; Konohana is being framed for using Harionna and Oinari is shocked by this. He confronted Konohana about it.
"How could you? I trusted you were going to be fine and I found this!" Oinari replied angrily, showing her a grisly item from the enemy. Konohana looked guilty, "I didn't..." She started to say but Oinari knew what she was going to say, "Konohana, you used Harionna didn't you?" Oinari asked. Konohana looked annoyed, "So what if I did! She's trying to help me!" She countered. Oinari knew she was going down the road, "She's a parasite inside your head!" He remarked truthfully. "No, she's not!" insisted Konohana. "Yes, she is!" argued Oinari. Hakudo said softly. "Thank you." Konohana said. Hakudo was close to her and tries kiss her however Konohana moves away, "I can't." She said. And then she went away. "What's wrong, Konohana?" asked Tamamo Mae. Konohana looked troubled, "I'm sorry, I'm trying to get over my broken heart but I can't...." People are made up of their thought and beliefs, desires and fears. All things you cannot tell by first meeting someone. But Oinari was real to me, he wasn't made up. He was truth, the love of my life. I now reflect with wiser eyes and realizes how easy it seemed with Oinari. There was a photograph of us, In starting a relationship, I exited my boring old life and discovers an exciting technicolor dream world. We were fatally attracted to each other, doomed to split up but inexplicably drawn together. I still wore his necklace, we were extremely happy with being with each other in that moment of joy and dancing and I still cherish the memory. Are we going to make it through these hardships and stay together, Oinari? I wants things to get better but ultimately it doesn’t work out. I miss him a lot, every detail I loved. I broke up with the man that was in love with, I love him and he’s all I can think about. When I'm with everyone; I hide that I'm upset, but when I'm alone, I can’t handle it still. I still recount a time when Oinari and I jumped the fence at a venue to hear this cool band called Magic Aurora. I remember another time when we vowed that we'd would be together forever. Now I know that my life has changed and I'm no longer in the beautiful time when Oinari and I could be together. I'm unsure of where my life is heading. I don't like reality for its harsh and unforgiving nature. I do have a good life, I was too busy to notice what is going on around me. I feel like I keep jumping from one short relationship to another. Like I keep myself from getting hurt. When I suffer my break up with Hakudo I feel numb and don’t morn the loss of our relationship. I wonder why I don't feel sadness for Hakudo. I'm heartless, but I hope for the best for Hakudo."
Running water, curtain covering an outside shower; Usodori was cleaning herself as she was feeling emotionally drained. But then she heard something and turned off the water. Lucky she had a fence so nobody can see her and peeked over to find out where it's coming from. Topless with wet hair as she covers her chest; Usodori was surprised to see Hakudo, who was busy working and Hakudo had no idea she was watching him. Usodori took her towel and covered herself as she went upstairs. She was about to take off her towel to get dress until someone said, "Hi." Usodori gasped, putting her towel back on. "Oh, um, hi." She stuttered. "You OK?" Hakudo asked. Usodori nodded, "Fine." She said. Hakudo felt awkward, "Why is your hair wet?" He asked. Usodori shifted around, "I....took a shower? Excuse me, I have to change..." She said and closed the door. Hakudo blushed, "She's something." He said. In the meantime; Kasuga sends messages to both Konohana and Oinari to bring them together, but when they found themselves facing each other. They barely talk to each other and feel anger inside of them. "So, you're not talking to me?" Oinari demanded. Konohana looked at him, "Hey, you're the one who broke up with me." She snapped. "Well, you're not speaking to me." Oinari countered back. "I was the one that betrayed you." Konohana said. "I know you did." Oinari said, he turned away. But what he said sounded sad, "You're a big part of my life, and without you, I'm barely alive. I have nobody to love, I feel all alone. The worst part: It’s all your fault." Konohana said with guilt, "I know. I guess I had to find out what Karma was the hard way, right?" "Yeah." agreed Oinari. Then, Oinari turned away as he said, "Did you think I can't feel? How can you be so selfish? I've always treated you right. If you stab me in the heart, did you think I wouldn't bleed with pain? After everything that I've been through." Hearing this, Konohana begins to cry but wipes them away. "I'm sorry...I--" Konohana started to say but the two of them are interrupted by a call from Kintaro, who is also receivng strange messages from Kasuga, which are coming from a mansion which represents her headquarters. Kintaro and his friends discover a mysterious briefcase that cuffs Kin's wrist. Momotaro gets shocked from behind and taken somewhere. Sayohime, Konohana, and Hangaku get distracted by a van, which opens up and a figure behind throws them in there.
Kintaro is being tortured on an operating table and figures are doing surgery on him. Momotaro, Oinari, Kincho, and Tsuna are stabbed with a needle from a hooded figure. During his escape attempt, Kintaro is rescued by Tsuna however Kintaro and Tsuna are captured shortly after. Sayohime is electrocuted, as well as Konohana but they survived. Then, all of the heroes are then brought to the van. Kasuga starts a bonfire by pouring gasoline over a wood pile and lighting it up with a match, she incinerates the inside of the van where the gang is being held captive. As the van is burning, Kintaro is freeing his friends and allies as Nana and her gang chased and beaten them. Tsuna helps them escape by fighting them. Things got more crazier as Kasuga mercilessly tortured Kintaro, Sayohime, Oinari, and Konohana with their manifest onis inside of them--Kagutsuchi, Mononoke, Wanyudo, and Harionna however Momotaro breaks out their onis, destroying them from trying to manifest any further. Kasuga got so mad as she was about to fight back with such a vengeance! Oinari and Konohana managed to escape together but they discover something more terrifying; Kincho and Hangaku are Kasuga's allies. Oinari couldn't believe it, his friend--his rival--his comrade--How could he do this to sensei and him like that? But the two of them found a secret laboratory and a blanket covering somthing. Oinari pulled it off, then his eyes bulged with terror as well as Konohana--It was the costume of Kasuga's. "What? Is that Ka...Ka...?" Konohana stuttered. "Kasuga?" A voice said. Oinari and Konohana turned around, there she was standing there. Wearing a kelly green dress. "Tamamo Mae!" Oinari said. Tamamo Mae smiled in a sadistic manner, "Ah, my secret has been discovered. You caught me red handed." She said but glares at Konohana, "You were so stupid, weren't you Konohana? So naive, so stupid!" Tamamo Mae's eye is twitchy, her smile looking menacingly.

"You know killing my 'friend' when he was a traitor. I knew that and I pretended to be a timid girl that couldn't look at any of you two withouth getting those burning, mental images out of my head." Tamamo Mae said. "What?" Oinari said with disbelief. The memory comes back to haunt: Tamamo Mae trembled, then she begin to pull her hair as she said softly, "You bastard." She glared at him, "What do you think I am? Stupid? You don't think I know? How you forced Kintaro Sakata to kill his cousin? How you video taped and you mocked him at the restaurant? You really think I'm that naive? Am I really a little girl, Kazusasuke?" She said, raising her voice. Konohana and Oinari looked surprised by this. "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! YOU STUPID BASTARD, YOU SUCK!!!! I AM SO SICK OF EVERYONE CLAIMING I'M SOME SORT OF SWEET, SHY GIRL WHEN I'M NOT LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME!!!!! I BECOME DEPRESSED WHEN THEY SAY SWEET THINGS AND THE TRUTH REALLY HURTS KAZUSASUKE!!!!!" shouted Tamamo Mae. Kazusasuke looked at her with fear, "Tamamo Mae?" He asked. "SHUT UP, IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO BE YOUR RAT, THEN I SHOULD SNITCH ON YOU, YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED AWAY AND HAVE A LETHAL INJECTION IN YOUR BLOODSTREAM!!!! NO, YOU SHOULD BE HANGED!!!! DECAPITATED!!!! BURN THE BASTARD! DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!!" ranted Tamamo Mae. In reality; Oinari and Konohana were shocked by this revelation as that was really not what it seemed to them but it was and it wasn't pretend. But Tamamo Mae continued, "How about the time of the school burning? That was me when I was Kasuga at the time." The two of them remember on the news of the school burnng but before that, there was reports on the murdered victims: there was a bloody pool on the floor; that pool of blood belonged to Naosuke, his body was face down lying there while his killer--an unknown, slender woman in white lingerie--took his blood and wrote something on the floor: KASUGA. Then, A corpse lying on the bathroom, legs were cut off. The body belongs to Shojo, her killer wore a blue suit and a mask while writing on the mirrors with her blood in the girls room: KASUGA WAS HERE! Next, another carcass in the librairy whose skin off her back was ripped. That corpse is Shikome, her killer wrote on the floor near Shikome in bloody lettering: KASUGA RULES. Later, someone was hung up in the janitor's closet, the corpse was bled dried and look like she had been strangled. That body was Muonna, her face was blue and lifelesss from being choked. The killer wrote on the walls in Muonna's blood, "KASUGA LIVES!" and left. A half minute later, Issie's body was found drenched in red. She looked as if she had been killed in a violent manner and on her forehead written in blood that reads, "KASUGA'S REVENGE". and then Jorogumo was murdered after she was left with a slit mouthed mark across her mouth.
Horrified; Konohana try to cover her ears, "Stop it." She whispered. "And the time I went on that date with Oinari? That was a set up to get you two together, I framed Konohana as well, to break you two up and put you back together." rambled Tamamo Mae. Then she looked at them and said, "Why don't you come with me? You two and I could have a better life than with Great Watch! You will never see them again!" "NO!" Konohana said, she was about to leave but Tamamo Mae stopped her: "What's wrong? You look so sad, don't you love me?" She asked. Konohana shivered. "I can't....I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH SOMEONE WITH YOU!" shouted Konohana. "You're such a freak, we don't want to be your friend!!!!!!" Oinari hollered, the two of them ran away. They try to escape, Konohana try to open the door. She turned the handle however nothing happened. "What's wrong?" asked Oinari. "The door won't open." Konohana squeaked. Oinari was horrified by this, "Great!" He groaned. But the two of them stopped in their tracks when they heard Tamamo Mae's voice, "Oooooinariiiiii, Konohanaaaaaa...." Oinari trembled, "Crap!" He said. "Oh no!" gasped Konohana. She try to jiggle the handle, "Come on, come on!" She moaned. But the door behind them burst open and Tamamo Mae appeared with insanity in her eyes, "I FOUND YOU!" She cried. "AAAAHHH!" Konohana screamed. She try jiggling it harder so she used her psychokinesis and broke the door down, Oinari grabbed her hand and they ran for their lives while the insane, passionate Tamamo Mae chased them down with a sickle waved around. Oinari and Konohana turned a corner and was surprised to see Kincho and Hangaku, they frozed for a moment. "Oinari!" Kincho said. "Kin--Kin--Kincho!" gasped Oinari. Tamamo Mae came from behind, "What are you two waiting for?" She asked in a frazzled tone, "GET THEM!!!" But Kincho and Hangaku just let the couple run past them. Tamamo Mae let out a screech, Oinari and Konohana were in a room full of objects and try to find a place to hide. They hide behind a shelf and waited. Tamamo Mae, Hangaku, and Kincho came in the room to search for Oinari and Konohana. "FIND THEM, FIND THEM AND BRING THEM BACK TO THE ROOM!" Tamamo Mae's voice ringed out.
Hangaku and Kincho searched the room, Kincho managed to find Oinari and Konohana hiding but he doesn't say a word. He walks back to Tamamo Mae, "M'lady, they are not here." reported Kincho. "What? Check again!" Tamamo Mae demanded. "Why look again when they're not here, let's find them in a different area..." suggested Kincho. Tamamo Mae growled, "YOU SELF RIGHTEOUS BASTARD!!!!" and kicked Kincho to the ground. Hangaku was scratched violently across her abdomenal area, and Tamamo Mae left the room in a fit of rage. Once the coast was cleared; Konohana leaves her hiding spot as she could see Hangaku was still alive but wounded. "What are you doing? She's gonna come back!" Oinari rasped. "Oinari, can you get me bandages? I have to heal her." Konohana ordered. Oinari looked surprised, "OK." He said. Kincho got up, "Anything I can do?" He asked. "Get me some oinment and an ice pack." instructed Tamamo Mae. Kincho did, he went and hands Konohana the ice pack after giving her the supplies she need. But Konohana gently pushes the ice pack, "No. For your head." She said. Kincho is surprised, "Thank you." He said. Oinari emerged from the hiding spot. "Why Kincho?" He asked. Kincho looked up, "She's after someone that robbed her happiness, destroyed part of her life, and she was getting revenge." He explained. Konohana used the plant-like cream and medical supplies. "Hey Hangaku, lift your shirt a little." She asked. Hangaku was about to but she glares at the boys, "No peeking!" She warned. Kincho and Oinari looked away; "You know Kincho, you were always a double agent." Oinari said. "Heh, just trying to help those that need it." Kincho said. After Hangaku's abdomenal area was covered with bandages, she put her shirt down and the boys looked back to see Hangaku was sitting up a little. "What do we do now?" Kincho asked. "I don't know, what do we do?" Hangaku wondered, "I mean...Look what she did to me. To us. To Great Watch." "I think we should together." Konohana suggested. Kincho, Oinari, and Hangaku glanced at her, "What?" They asked in unison. "I think she...she needs some time to be alone and get the best help. Or whatever she has to do. I don't think she cares about us, or you. Besides, she hurt you two. And I want to make things right for not just me and Oinari but for you guys too." Konohana explained. "Konohana..." Oinari said softly. Konohana turned to Kincho and Hangaku, "Please, let me help you. Help me, help you." She begged softly. Kincho and Hangaku looked at each other before nodding. Hangaku looked over at Konohana and Oinari saying, "We shall follow you." She said. Konohana smiled, "Good." She said. Oinari smiled too. Hangaku stood up but she stumbled, Konohana managed to catch her. "Ooof!" Hangaku groaned. "Hangaku!" Konohana gasped. "I'm sorry about this, Konohana but can I have your shoulder?" Hangaku said. "Yes, of course." replied Konohana. As the four them try to escape; Konohana saw something that caught her eyes. She saw pictures of her and Oinari. She let Kincho takes Hangaku for a moment so she can take a look, "What is this? She...she's been watching us? Us? All this time?" Konohana said with horror, "What are we to her? What are we?" Oinari looked at her with pity; he, too, was disturbed by this discovery. "An object of her affection, her sick obsession..." explained Kincho, "I mean we've all got our obsessions don't we?" "Damn straight." A voice said. The four of them froze with fear. "Tamamo Mae!" Konohana gasped. Tamamo Mae wore a red and black dress with a diamond design and mesh shoulder panel, carrying an ax in her hand. "You know, you people think you know me but you DON'T! YOU DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT ME AND I'M FINE WITH THAT!!!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW, I'd been obsessed with you two since you walked into the room. And I fell out of my hotel room, left for dead until Hangaku and Kincho saved my lives. They were going to help me get close to you two. And also my plot in my revenge. And NOBODY is going to stop me!" Tamamo Mae ranted. "You're crazy." Konohana said with fear. Tamamo Mae looked at her with disbelief, "Me? Crazy? You don't know even know the definition of crazy." She claimed. Konohana looked at her with disbelief, "Oh, I don't? What do you mean I don't? I'm not the type with mommy issues I'll bet. Your mother must be pretty desperate to have such a daughter like you!" She said.
Tamamo Mae tries to hack at Konohana with an ax but missed, "YOU SHUT UP ABOUT HER!!!!!" She shouted. "Tamamo Mae, why are you doing this? Lying? Manipulating? Killing?" Oinari protested. Tamamo Mae chuckled darkly, "Oh come on, Broody Boy. You know me, I got a mentally shattered! Twisted! Mind in this friggin' mind of mine! And only way you people can't crack me is because I've been cracked before! MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND PHYSICALLY! I AM NOTHING, NOTHING DO YOU HEAR ME?! I WAS WRECKED INTO PIECES, PIECES!" She shouted lunging at them. "GET AWAY FROM US!!!!" Konohana said, pushing Tamamo Mae back into a wall and the ax thrown on the other side. Thrashed into a wall; Tamamo Mae screamed in hysterics, clucthing herself. She could see it in her mind, branded whips thrusted onto her bare flesh. "Oh, I didn't mean to--" said Konohana. But the four of them noticed a keloid scar on Tamamo Mae's back. It looked like a fungus, a dark red bloodied fungus there. "Oh my....What is that?" Konohana rasped. "Damn, that is an ugly scar there." Oinari remarked softly. He reached over but Tamamo Mae got up, "DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!!" She screamed. "Ah!" Oinari yelped, Tamamo Mae stomped towards them: "TOUCH IT, I DARE YOU. IF YOU DID, I'LLL---" She said but then someone shot her from behind and fell to the ground. The person responsible was Kintaro, along with Captain Takumi and Tsunade as well as Sayohime. The nightmare was over however Tamamo Mae is in a coma and nobody knows when she will wake up.
In the meantime; Oinari was rekindling his relationship with Konohana but the Blossom Girl is shocked over what happened. She had a nightmare where she went to visit Tamamo Mae. But during her visit; Tamamo Mae woke up from her coma and seized Konohana, "You think you got away from me? You haven't seen the last of me yet!!!!" screamed Tamamo Mae. Konohana always woke up in fright, shrieking until Oinari came and calmed her down. Back at the hospital; Tamamo Mae lied there but in her unconsciousness, a smile slowly appeared on her face.....It wasn't over. Not by a long shot for this vixen.
