Chapter 1: It’s a Complicated Life of War

Imagine: You’re walking in the city on an ordinary day when you look up and horrify to see destruction of two skyscrapers crumble before you. That was the day that many people lost their lives both in plane and in the buildings. Who is responsible for all this madness? A cult known as ‘radical terrorists’ but that’s not the first time that it happens. They had caused other disasters so violently that many people either died or injured. It was so bad enough that it had to do with murdering folks and sometimes themselves for the sake of their ‘Heavenly Savior’. It wasn’t until they had kidnapped three hostages, no matter what their loved ones begged and cried; those hostages were dead! Then, a suicidal bombing while a concert was going on that injured people and killed a lot of folks. And now, a banquet party turned into a nightmare when two couples who were radicalize terrorists killed fourteen people, a policeman, and injured many. It was tragic, really. These radical terrorists have gone too far and are creating great chaos among the madness of others! They are causing death and destruction. They believe that the ethical people in the world from their homeland are considered evil! The only hope in this world gone crazy is five elite agents who are known as ‘Misfit Boys’. There will be a day when these guys will save the world; these boys will shake the foundations of the terrorists’ radicalization and bloodshed as they will change the course of history—if they can survive! Never underestimate them; they are so desperate they’ll battle even if it means fortifying their lives. Those who lay eyes on these guys won’t be allow to live. The five elites do have names! Parthalan Venen—ready for battle! He walks the path of the warrior; he must choose between love or hatred. When it comes to his emotions, he has no idea what is wrong with him. Kobus Kiddo—another proud line of warriors. He is behold a diligent man with integrity. Sherrod Collins—while polite and honest; he is a leader of a man that won’t be taken lightly.  Jethro Starling—stoic almost to a fault. He completes missions with ruthless affiance, he will correct the mistakes of his enemy’s weakness. And lastly, Funske Gholam—to his enemies, their dilemma has drop like a domino! He’ll find a way to save lives or take them all with him alive. Anyone who faces him will have a date with a bitter wit’s end. But how do they come together in the first place? Well, let’s turn the page and go back to where it all begin but to be warn, their pasts aren’t pretty pictures to look back on.

From Amerik Metropolis; Hand in hand, brother and sister were in front of their new home of the Korvin Manor run by Mrs. Valentine Korvin herself. The sister is Nina Venen and her little brother was Parthalan. Their father went missing and their mother died in a car crash so now they are orphans. They have no relatives, no grandparents, no uncles, aunts or cousins—nobody. Thankfully; Nina managed to contact Mrs. Korvin and told her the situation, Mrs. Korvin was gracious enough to let the siblings stay at her manor. But they weren’t the only orphans staying there: There were boys about Parthalan’s age. Their names are Lysander, Nico, and Eric. While he was exploring, Parthalan meets a red haired boy. “I’m Lysander, what’s your name?” asked the boy with the red hair. “Parthalan.” Replied Young Parthalan. “Cool name. Boy, am I glad you’re here with us. It gets really creepy around here alone at night.” Said Lysander. “What do you mean by that?” asked Parthalan. “Well, I don’t know if this is true or not but there are rumors that say there’s some murders going around here.” Whispered Lysander. “At night, just like this one orphan boy that went missing. He left for one minute and never came back, the police found the boy’s body and said his body was cut apart by a ‘monster’, scary isn’t it?” Indeed that scared Parthalan but for a different reason: He didn’t want his sister Nina to be involved in this madness. He may have been the younger brother but he was very protective of his sister. In the morning, the orphans went to see an exhibit of bugs at a museum where they met a kindhearted professor where he demonstrates on these kinds of insects called cicada. Immediately, Parthalan took noticed of this critter and was amazed by the sight as well as the facts where the cicada show no interest on pestering humans and only eat wood from the ground. “Would anyone like to hold it?” asked the professor. The three boys shrank back in fear but Parthalan didn’t. “I will.” He said. He held the insect cicada in his hand and smiled. “My Jove! I never seen a cicada act this way. I see you show no fear towards it.” Remarked the professor. “Insects don’t bother me, I love them.” Replied Parthalan, he let the insect crawl his arm. He saw the cicada flew a little and went up Parthalan’s wrist down to his hand. Nina smiled, “My brother has a soft spot for bugs.” She explained briefly. “I can see that, they are part of life my dear.” Said the professor. Parthalan seem to have a connection with this cicada and for some reason, he knew what it was feeling. Once that was over, the orphans went home and went through the daily routine of eat and sleep when it was time for bed. However, things would change on this particular night. Parthalan woke up in the middle of the night and went to get a drink of water. As he was doing so, he heard a bang and a body fell to the ground—all bloodied and not moving. Parthalan jumped and approached it with caution. He turned the body around and was shocked to see it was that nice professor from before! He rushed back to his room where he shook Nina and whispered, “Nina! Nina, wake up!” Nina roused from her slumber and saw her brother was scared. “Parthalan, what’s the matter?” She asked softly. “Sis, I saw him! The professor! He was dead!” claimed Parthalan quietly. “Oh Brother, you must have been dreaming.” Nina replied gently. “No, I wasn’t!” Parthalan muttered to her, “I just woke up from a bad dream and wanted to get some water. I heard a noise and—Bloody, the body, oh sis!” Parthalan whispered. He begins to wept as Nina hugged him, soothing his fears. In the morning, the police was at the Korvin Manor as the policemen talk to Parthalan, much dismay and anger by Mrs. Korvin. “How could you disobey my orders of going downstairs and wandering about?” scolded Mrs. Korvin. “Do I have to repeat myself? I wasn’t wandering; I woke up from a bad dream and wanted to get some water. I heard a noise and there was a body that plopped to the ground. I approached it cautiously and saw it was the professor who was in charge of the cicada bugs.” Said Parthalan. “Did you see anyone else?” asked the policeman. “No Officer, I was so scared that I went back to my sister and woke her up to tell her what I saw.” Explained Parthalan. Later, he was about to go to bed and saw the others weren’t in their beds as he went around to find them, exclaiming for their names but no luck. “Lysander? Nico? Eric?” called Parthalan. Nobody answered. “C’mon you guys, this isn’t funny! Come on out!” Parthalan said. Just then, he heard a boy’s scream! He knew who it was! “Lysander!” exclaimed Parthalan. He ran to the direction of where the scream was coming from! It came from the bathroom. By the time he got there, the screaming had stopped. Parthalan walked to the bathroom to wash his hands but recoiled in fear when he saw blood and maggots coming out of there. He turned it off and approaches the shower, pulling back the curtains. There he found a horrifying discovery—a dead boy! It looked like he was tied up and hung by his wrist, stabbed multiple times. “Lysander?” stammered Parthalan. Then, a knife cut the dead boy’s body apart and a masked figure try to attack Parthalan! Parthalan dodged it and escaped with ease however he was scared and would not stop running until that masked murdering figure would not find him or chase him. He ran, and ran until he felt like his lungs would burst. He stopped finally to catch his breath and walked a little but Parthalan looked out the window and saw a figure falling out the window, he could not believe it. “Nico!” He bellowed as he rushed down and got outside to see Nico frantically waving in the water. “Glub—Glub—Parthalan! Help—glub glub—me!!!” sputtered Nico. He stopped waving and drowned in front of a shell shock Parthalan however something else had emerged from the pool, it was that masked figure again! He begins to chase Parthalan, who was already running away. However, he managed to find Nina who was exploring around and shows him what she discovered. “Nina, what did you find?” asked Parthalan. Nina pointed down, “Dad.” She simply said. There was a skeleton on the floor and had a name on him that said ‘Parthalan Venen Sr.’ on its tag. The siblings read his journal and found out that he went missing for he was a prisoner in the manor by the cruel mistress Valentine Korvin and her two deformed children! His death was caused by beaten to death and starved for days. Nina took the skeletal corpse in her arms and cradle it, “Oh Papa.” She sobbed. Parthalan patted the bleach white skull of the man once known as his father. “Dad, what happened here? What’s going on here?” He thought. Further into the house, the siblings discovered the mutilated bodies of animals such as crows, dogs, and cats—even deer and rabbits too! There was one body that looked human,  Parthalan was horrified to discover that this was none other than Eric! “Oh no, Eric.” He gasped. During this time, he was looking around and turned to find his sister was nowhere in sight. He found a secret passage way that lead to the cave and he went in where Parthalan found his sister tied to the ground and released her from her bounds. The two managed to get out of the cave until the masked figure appeared, chasing them! He pulled out a gun and shot Nina in the back. “NOO, NINAAAAAA!!!!” shouted Parthalan. Poor Nina was dying as she managed to speak her last words to her little brother: “Parthalan, I—please, stop her! Stop Mrs. Korvin and her children! They are the ones responsible for the murders. Save yourself, goodbye Parthalan…” And died. Parthalan try to scream out her name but it was hopeless, she was dead. Parthalan managed to get to the lab and hide from the murderer. Hiding in the lab alone; Parthalan was crying like a baby over the death of his sister until he heard a buzzing sound beckoning to him—the insects cicada were trying to communicate with him telepathically! Parthalan then freed the bugs as he learns that he can control them! He faced the masked killer—whose name is Ross—and he uses the cicada to take Ross down while killing him too. However, this was short lived when an enraged Mrs. Korvin nearly killed Parthalan with an ax however he dodged her as Korvin panted and her hair was a mess as well as her eyes were red. “You stupid boy!!! That masked murderer was just deformed, imperfect but still he….he…He was my son and you killed him! You are nothing more than a disease in this manor! A catastrophe to us all! To me, you Parthalan are just as your father!” screamed Mrs. Korvin. It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. However, the silence broke when Young Parthalan begin to chuckle, and then he laughed a maniacal laugh. “Catastrophe huh. Fine, from this point on, I will use that codename. I will train myself to get stronger and I’ll return to come and find you Valentine Korvin! Just you wait!” vowed Parthalan, he then disappeared. Mrs. Korvin watched him go and muttered, “I’ll be waiting for you—Parthalan! I’ll have my revenge too!” Looking over the city from high above, Parthalan thought about how he will use the cicada to avenge for Lysander, Nico, and Eric. Even for you, sister. I will eliminate all monsters in my path.” Claimed Parthalan, “I promise you Nina….REVENGE!”  There is a curse of Millhaven amongst the people is what happened to Funske when he was a child. He was an orphan just like Parthalan but this couple was nicer and not so malevolent. Funske noticed there was a lot of crimes and murders going on in this crazy town. It turns out in Millhaven is where an evil girl by the name of Loretta Martin, friends call her ‘Lottie’ where nobody knows how much of sociopath she is. However, Lottie went over to where Funske was and she killed his adoptive parents as well as the other orphans, shocking Funske who faced off against Lottie and lured her to the beach as he knocks her out. Tied her up and push her down into the ocean but not before taking her gun and killing her. He also disposes the weapon as well as held a cremation for the ones he lost on that day and decided to do good for others. So far, no one has seen or heard of Lottie again and this won’t be the last time.

The town called Helpless Dancer had a miserable boy. Bitter heartened boy, that’s exactly what describes Jethro Starling. He was taken in by his absurdly youthful aunt name Ms. Terri. Terri has been through hardships of abuse: There was that unspeakable maltreatments from her perverted grandfather, her mother blames her for nothing—thinking it was Terri’s fault, her father was a drunkard, her brothers aren’t so supportive, and her boyfriend is an unstable, psychotic fellow that wasn’t too good to sweet, loving Terri. Jethro was nothing more than a selfish and seemingly apathetic boy that believes his aunt was privileged, he begins to have lustful dreams about pretty girls and bloody violence. He was into scars as he found a fetish in them. He finds scars ‘beautiful’ although the story behind them isn’t so pretty! There was one girl who had a good heart and saw his soul for what he is inside. Her name was Jolene Parton, she apparently showed concern and caring for Jethro, Jolene may have a crush on him because it was a loner and quiet guy but cute, eccentric. Jethro was into dissecting dead animals, dreams of gory mad scientist-esque nightmares that he finds appealing, and he fanatises about more pretty girls, open heart surgeries, and other violent things. Then, Jethro grew a heart for his aunt after learning that Terri was pregnant with her psychotic boyfriend’s child and help his aunt however one night when he was out for errands, Jethro found a meaty-mass in an alley that came to life and got on Jethro’s right arm where it became a manifest and was a blood-red, mangled flesh on him that would soon be of help to Jethro! One night, Aunt Terri never got to the hospital as her water broke! Jethro helps her aunt give birth to a beautiful baby boy look just like Terri. Terri cried, overwhelmed with joy and named her son Victor. Using his red right hand; Jethro stopped the bleeding and cut the umbilical cord. Terri was surprised as the relationship between him and his aunt was mended. But the father was not around and Jethro was protective over his newborn cousin who grew up to be a young boy. And Jethro was becoming like a mentor to Cousin Victor however it wasn’t long until Terri dated somebody else—a black male name Earl who was an abusive, mean man that soon beat Terri. Once again, Terri was pregnant with Earl’s twin daughters and gave birth to the twins by the names of Delia and Gwen. But Earl’s sisters made no hesitation to make Terri’s life miserable on her social media page where they wrote nasty things about her for her to see as well as insult her by calling her a ‘harlot’. The last straw was when Jethro came home to find Earl beating Terri—in front of the kids! Angered by this sight; Jethro’s right arm became mangled flesh and Jethro charged in as he brought down Earl with one slam to the ground. Jethro was mad as he glared down at Earl with viciousness in his eyes. “You son of a bitch! Who do you think you are doing this to me?” demanded Earl. “I am your curse filled with crimson of your blood. The next time you do this to my aunt, I will take you down and break your skull open, do you understand?! Don’t you ever lay a hand on my aunt in front of her children!” growled Jethro. Earl was terrified, Terri was amazed and her children were frozen with fear. After Earl left; Jethro treated his aunt’s bruises and cuts as he comforted Victor, Delia, and Gwen. The three of them were crying, they seemed so scared as Jethro vows to protect them all! At the same time, Jethro met a boy his age by the name of Sherrod Collins. Sherrod was a nice, sweet, and gentleman who never like violence however he had a split personality name Justice. This split personality was created in Sherrod’s mind after Sherrod suffered a terrible memory of his father’s murder by Sherrod’s mother, who learnt her husband was having an affair. In his life, Sherrod was abused by his mean old uncle and his bullying cousin. His mother’s crime, his uncle’s mistreatment and his cousin’s aggravation had caused Sherrod to create a split persona that fought back against his uncle and cousin, where they fear him now. Together, Jethro and Sherrod became a duo pair of friends to fight for justice under codenames. Sherrod uses ‘Justice’ while Jethro uses the name ‘Crimson Curse’ for he was the tall, handsome man in a dusty jacket with the red right hand! On the other side of town was Saylor Lake where a young boy name Kobus that went through his adolescent years of dealing with a cruel teacher, a smothering yet over protective mother who thought she knew better, and a girlfriend name Fiona that cheated on him with infidelity of other loves. Kobus grew up without a father as he was the scapegoat and an only child however he found happiness when he met a girl by the name of Susie who became the love of his life until she was killed by radical terrorists while she was riding in a hot air balloon. This caused Kobus to become heartbroken, the love of his life was taken from him forever. One day, he went through depression and fell asleep where he entered a dreamland where he meets a magic man by the name of Barry Saturday, who convinces him to leave the boundaries of his ordinary life. It wasn’t until Kobus was on trial where the unbearable testimonies against him from others such as his teacher, his mother, and Fiona. His teacher admonishes him for lacking any potential; his mother just wants to keep him sheltered from the world, while Fiona calls out on Kobus for being an idiot for not suspecting of her unfaithfulness. Barry then took down the walls of Kobus’s comfort zone with a sledgehammer as Kobus awoke from the dream world where he decides to make changes to his life as he humiliates his former lover and shames her for her wicked betrayal against her other lovers. Thanking all three that inspired him even though he shouldn’t because they did him wrong but they taught him to not let others pin him down or tell him what’s wrong or right. Thus, Kobus gained the codename ‘Trinity’!

Years later into the present….

“Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Subject has broken into the base and is moving to the top secret area of Section 21. Do not him get in there, keep him at bay.” Said the drone from the speakers overhead. POW, POW went the guns as whoever it was took down the security and made his way through the security. He was unstoppable for a young man, but this wasn’t an ordinary man. This was Funske Gholam! He woke a short sleeved, dark blue jumpsuit and his long, dark brown hair was in a braid. And matching shoes. He looked to be about 15-to-17. Funske has become a charming, wisecracking, and mischievous fellow but still maintained his dark side. “Ha-ha, too damn easy!” He said, “Now let’s see what the military has inside this baby!” Once he took down the guards and the rest of security, he walked towards Section 21’s base in the heart of it all. “Ooh, top secret. It’s so secrecy! Not anymore, ha!” remarked Funske with sarcasm. He looked over at the sign and reads out loud: “‘Warning, doors cannot open unless password is used.’ Lucky me, I know it!” He goes to the keyboard that had letters all over it. “OK, password is ‘Nee-nah’. Nina.” Mumbled Funske. The doors immediately clicked open as Funske peered in as he wondered: “What could they kept in here that was top secret?” Just then, a figure emerged from the darkness to reveal a young man his age. He wore jeans, a dark green tank shirt, and his bangs were along his forehead. “Who are you? What are you doing here?” asked Funske, “You are the top secret weapon of Section 21? That can’t be!” The mysterious boy spoke in a monotone low voice, “My name is Parthalan Venen. You have released me from my prison and for that I will grant you what thy heart’s desire.” This surprised Funske, he was about to ask but there was more enemies coming and he groaned. “Now what?” He whined. “Never fear, I will take on the enemy. Watch and learn, my rescuer Funske Gholam.” Said Parthalan. He took down the guards swiftly without breaking a sweat, Funske watched with amazement as he couldn’t believe it. Once the battle was over, Funske called out: “That was amazing, Parthalan! But what exactly did you mean that you will grant me whatever my heart’s desire?” Parthalan smirked as he said, “You’ll see soon enough.” Funske didn’t want him to leave but Parthalan reassured him: “Do not fret; we’ll cross paths once more. Meet me at the vacant, ancient building known as Gunner Dame Wing.” With that, he turned and walked away. Funske looked after him in shock! In the meantime; Jethro and Sherrod are the same age as Parthalan and Funske. Jethro has side swept bangs that cover each eye depending on the angle while Sherrod has blonde hair and has bangs swept along his forehead. Jethro and Sherrod are faced with the radical terrorists while they are in the conflict in the desert’s battlefield until they are rescued by Rael Sebastian, who was the same as them as he has a short black ponytail that’s tied a little in the back of his head. He wore white trousers and a blue tank shirt. They learnt about Parthalan and Funske’s escape as their whereabouts. They decide to pursue the two, believing they could be the source to chance the world. “So this is the Gunner Dame Wing…This place is abandoned after it shut down 30 years ago because of some freak accident.” Said Funske, who walked down the empty halls of the abandoned building in the city of Saylor Lake and came across the auditorium where he pulled out his gun and aim at the dark figure whose back was turn to him. The lights came on in a blinding flash, Funske glared against the lights until he saw Parthalan standing on the stage and saw Funske. “I’ve been expecting you, Funske.” He said. Funske put his gun away and folded his arms to him, “So, what’s the point of bringing me to this shing ding?” He asked. “No one will find us here, this place has been vacant for a long time as you know.” Replied Parthalan. “I am aware of your codename. ‘Dilemma Domino’, is it? Why did you give yourself that codename?” Funske smirked, “I got that by my creed. I am ending the dilemma, making my opponents fall like dominoes—Every single one of them.” He answered. “Would you like to know my codename?” asked Parthalan. Funske shrugged, “Why not. What’s yours then? Mysterious Boy?” Funske joked. Parthalan didn’t laugh or smile but he responds with, “Not exactly.” Just then, Funske heard a buzzing sound overhead and was startled to see many bugs surround Parthalan, who crossed his arms and smirked down at Funske. “Catastrophe.” He said. Funske smiled, “Cool.” Parthalan held out his hand and the bugs quieted down. “You see, Funske.” Explained Parthalan, “The bugs here are you see are called cicada. These are not ordinary insects, they are telepathic. They can sniff out anyone who has left broken people behind, anyone of a criminal who is guilty of things he or she got away with so easily. Anybody who has done you or anyone has wrong; you or I could find this creep.” Funske recalled what Parthalan said earlier: “So that’s what you meant by granting me whatever my heart’s desire huh?” He inquired. “Precisely Gholam.” Remarked Parthalan, “We are both destructive, we are living in a world full of chaos and madness is all you see. To survive in this disastrous land, we need to become the insanity too. There are a lot of people who are a disease to the body of Saylor Lake City. We will track down the disease and ‘cure’ them of their pain. What do you think of that ‘D.D.’?” Funske replies back with, “You’re offering me to join your mad world plan of chaos to take down criminals and other bad people?” He then laughs and says, “I love it! You are really capable of surprising me Parthalan. This could be the beginning of a great partnership.” Just then, a voice spoke up: “Do you really think you two can face this alone? By yourselves, rather?” Funske turned around and Parthalan glared at who it was. It was Jethro Starling, Sherrod Collins, and Kobus Kiddo! “Who are you? How did you find this place?” demanded Parthalan. “Don’t worry, we managed to find out about you troublemakers and we mean no harm at all.” Jethro said. “My friend here is right, we want to form a squad.” Said Sherrod. “A squad?” Funske asked. “You guys are after the same goals as we are. We want to help you form this kind of war. I don’t agree with this but you’re right, we’re living in a mad world of people who do terrible things to others. Into doing so, I thought maybe the five of us could come together and fight off against the forces of evil but also, my main concern is these radical terrorists who are murdering innocent lives for the sake of martyrdom and for their ‘Heavenly Savior’. As far as I know, I know my Heavenly Savior wouldn’t want people to be killed in battlefield. So, what do you say?” explained Sherrod. Parthalan and Funske glanced at each other as they look back at the three, “Sure.” Funske answered. “We accept your proposal.” Replied Parthalan. “Good, I’m glad to hear. By the way, these two—This is Jethro Starling.” Said Sherrod, gesturing towards Jethro on the left. “And that’s Kobus ,” which he gesture towards the right. Then, Sherrod introduced himself too: “And I’m Sherrod Collins. Nice to meet you.” “Nice to meet you too, my good man. My name is Funske Gholam, and this silent but deadly elusive dude here is Parthalan Venen.” Answered Funske. “I assume you  have codenames, is that correct? They call Funske ‘Dilemma Domino’ and I am known as ‘Catastrophe’. How about you?” said Parthalan. “Crimson Curse.” Replied Jethro. “Justice, of course.” Sherrod responded. “And I’m known as Trinity.” rejoined Kobus. Parthalan nodded, “Excellent.” He said. And soon, they begin their first mission! In the operation; Parthalan and the other guys are given different assignments. Parthalan will plant the bomb, Jethro and Sherrod will break through the security system while Funske and Kobus are to find the radical terrorists’ weaponry and take them out. However, not everything went exactly as plan. Funske and Kobus took down the weaponry but they are locked inside with the remains. They managed to contact for help: “This is Dilemma Domino and Trinity, we have a conundrum…..We are locked inside for taking down the weaponry of the radical terrorists and now we are stuck. Can anyone respond back? We need help. Please.” Sherrod heard and contacted Parthalan, asking for him to go and rescue them. However; Parthalan didn’t want to go but then, a memory of Nina peering at him with a scolding like expression haunted Parthalan. He stopped in his tracks as Nina’s innocent face was staring at him. Finally, Parthalan gives in and responds back: “This is Catastrophe, hang tight in there you guys. I’m on the way.” And rushed over to break down the doors as he managed to get Funske and Kobus out of there. However while escaping from the island on a boat, Funske pulled out a pen-like object that was the detonator as he exclaims with glee: “Play that ambiance music of death, MISFIT BOYS!!!” He pressed the button and the island explodes! Parthalan smirked with pride, Funske laughs in amazement, Jethro is dazed as well as Sherrod while Kobus looked impressed.

These guys are the only hope for humanity against the radical terrorists in their world that has gone crazy, these boys may be bold and brave yet beautiful, they are broken on the inside: As part of this squad; Parthalan is a calm fellow but on these missions, he’s trying to make a scene out of himself as he is masking himself before firing away at this enemies with guns.  If he could be more natural, then maybe he wouldn’t come off as mysterious. And maybe people would get to know him even more. He has changed a lot since he was a kid, he’s always cold and stoic demeanor to him. Though, there are rumors where Parthalan is said to be a kind hearted fellow but he is one complicated fellow. He doesn’t show much of emotions as he keeps them reined while fighting in these missions. But nobody knows why he’s so mysterious, his squad notices the ruthlessness he has as he is different from human. People are suppose to expression emotions but Parthalan is a different kind of guy, he’s just an honest person too and is being who he truly is. He is making a promise of vengeance for his sister. In more of these missions; he comes over to his enemies stealthily and nobody notices. He’s dark and cool minded while his motives are shocking where he knocks out someone and then kills them. Even if people like the rest of these guys could see what a powerful, abnormal guy he is, he’s just different. However, when he’s alone Parthalan thinks of his deceased sister. Her long blonde hair, her sparkling baby blue eyes, and her blue clothing. “Sister, you are wondering who will be the substitute for you to accompany me and share my burdens when you were gone. There is nothing to replace you, Nina. If something should happen to me on this mission, it’ll affect all of us. In this dangerous situation, do you think I can make it without you? If you could follow me, would you go wherever I go despite all the hardships? But for some reason, it wasn’t meant to be. You can’t follow me now down this path.” He thought. Parthalan he wants her back so much however he can’t because Nina is dead. He would want to call out to her, he’s addicted to see his sister once again and she is the only reason he’s alive! Parthalan thinks about the most about the one person he cared for the most. For Funske, he is night from someone’s day side. He’s a few pegs down the social ladder as he acts like he’s all proper but he isn’t. People would like him, but were worried about what others would think of him. Funske was a different guy who was an elusive guy when it came to dealing with people. People judge him for being different and reject him; they think they are better than him and decided he isn’t good enough in this crazy town of Saylor Lake. These people are big headed, thinking they were better than others however some people need to stop being so full of it! Years into now, these people have lives that turned out to be right for them. But they come across Funske, who is know successful than them and could see he is much more socially desirable. Now look at him—he’s much more advance. But these people lost their chance on having him on their side him, they lost their opportunity as he found something more with these other strangers: Parthalan, Jethro, Sherrod, and Kobus. They miss their chance, they had thought he wasn’t worth anything but now he’s on a higher position. He is much more than beauty of the beholder or anything; he’s got people besides these allies to see him for his skills. Being part of this new employment; he seems to like it a lot but he can’t think of what makes him like doing this that makes him bloodlust and get his attention for, he tries to think it might be how exciting it is. Funske never felt a passion quite like this, and he never felt this excited before. Leaves him tossing and turning, he can’t explain himself but this whole thing has his full attention and focus. This profession as a guy killing criminals and other bad people in a mad world makes him like he’s in love with it. He wouldn’t want it to be wasted all the time and energy to keep doing this! In his perspective view; Funske was growing up in his younger years and he was young as he didn’t see life the way it was for being in a dark time for him. He tries to see good parts in it and he used to life in a good light but with all this terror, now he doesn’t. He isn’t a little guy anymore but rather a young man and thinks he needs more experience. Funske has passed over the phase when he was told what he wasn’t and now he thinks for himself so he has to see life with his own vision. Even though he embraces his dark self through the mischievous, charming exterior; he is still himself and he’s looking out for himself and will find his way. He is unsure of what he is anymore and he doesn’t know much about himself yet so he needs time. Yet, he’s confident to overcome what is in his way. He’s not the scared little boy anymore, he leaves behind the scared boy he was one once upon a time and ready to be a man—a soldier in this mad world of life. Jethro had it different than the other guys: He is going through dark times in this matters where he wants to find something out of this life and is desperate that he doesn’t care what it might be. He believes he’s alone and nobody wants him, the world around him is cold on the outside and he feels lonely. He wants to trust someone so he can put his trust in them. Maybe he wants this person to prove to him that he’s something special and someone cares about him. He wants somebody to come help him in these miserable times and leave wherever he is. Whoever it was, he can relate to them. Jethro is searching for someone who’s lonely like he is, maybe to confide or connect with. He wants someone to relate to. Looking out for someone who has the same things as he does. He feels like something isn’t right, things are a mess and he feels like he’s unloved. The world is a confusing place, so cruel and he thinks he’s going crazy. He feels like a little boy again but different, he wants someone to make him feel safe as he wants to keep that person safe. He could care less on whom they are but he just wants to be treated good with them. Jethro likes the life he has no but it seems he’s mostly unsure if things will be all right, considering what went on with his aunt and her horrendous life. He’s trying to convince himself that things will be OK however he thinks it could be tainted enough. He never wanted to be quiet and aloof, honestly he doesn’t realize why though. He knows that if he wants people to know him, he should start trusting them to know what it’s like for him. For some reason, Jethro needs more time to get to know people a little bit more. He wants to trust people but he would like to know if people out there would trust him in exchange! But in that moment, he feels like people like him but then he doesn’t believe so and is unsure so as the thoughts in his mind are trying to convince him however he doesn’t believe it. He would want people to tell him on what he thinks but he knows he can’t. That isn’t how life works; he wishes he could hear it straight from them. If they really think he’s a great person, he should know and not be the last. Because if everyone else is aware of him, he wouldn’t be the only one who doesn’t realize this revelation. He suspects and would like to know if anyone feels something about him: Good, bad perhaps? He just wants people to be honest with him. His persona for others is seen as a mysteric aura that becomes stronger when silent, like he’s deep in thought. People believe he’s emotionless as he seems to be but deep down there’s something else going on. As for Sherrod, since he moved away from his mean cousin and cruel uncle; he hates moving to a new place as he says goodbye to his old friends and turned around as he journeys onto the life that waits for him. He wants to be real with others and let go of being like everyone else. And not pretend to be part of a different life that’s not his. For some reason, he wants to be weird. When he’s lying in bed, he’s laughing to himself softly to sleep. The adrenaline rush he wants when doing these dangerous missions with these guys, he wants these kinds of things to make him feel alive. It’s boring to do what others want him to do, Sherrod wants to do things to the extreme and maybe let someone push him to the limit to make him feel alive. He knows that whatever he does, he doesn’t think and that’s exactly what Justice—his split persona—wants him to break out of his nice guy act and be different. Though he wonders if dying or breathing is enough to be out of the ordinary for he never want to be like everyone else and he’d rather be individual and to be considered an odd guy. He doesn’t believe his life is so typical and feels lonely inside. He doesn’t want to be seen as perfect however he has to act like he’s suppose to be a nice guy when he struggles on his issues. People love him for what he is, everyone thinks he’s so lucky to be rich but nobody knows what goes on with him inside. His life is considered to be perfect however it really isn’t. Even people see him as the happiest person in the world, but riches don’t bring happiness for all the solitude within. His success in life deceived him into believing he’s living in a great life but through the illusion that people see, they don’t know that he’s a victim to life’s discontent. Sherrod keeps on being successful and climbing up the social ladder. But he wonders what would happen if they didn’t want him in their lives anymore. He was deprived from the world while being sheltered of how cruel life was after leaving his uncle and cousin. He didn’t feel like himself as he was trying to maintain his split personality ego and this has robbed him up until this point. Sherrod has changed drastically as he’s choosing what he wants and there’s no turning back. He was also prevented from understanding his own actions of what he wants and who he was. He know he shouldn’t but Sherrod wants to make mistakes and figure things out on his own that feel restricted by authorities his whole life. He has optimistic sides and negatives too, his negatives spoke of hopelessness and clueless while the other is assuring him that he will find his own way around life.  He begins to question others on his values and what he’s been taught. He now no longer trusts on what people have told him so he’s deciding for himself on what he believes in. Folks think he’s being distant and avoiding them but Sherrod feels constricted and he can’t help but wanting to be free sometimes. Sherrod has decided the time is now and leaves behind what he always known while he takes courage too. People tell him how he should be through his life but he doesn’t feel the image he’s presenting is actually what he’s like though and pretty much wants to be truly be who he wants to do now. And lastly and best of all is Kobus; all his life, people are trying to take control of him, make him seem like a fool but he knows he’s not. Trying to make decisions for him however Kobus has grown tired of it as he doesn’t think he’s a property to anyone. People like his mother, his ex girlfriend who cheated on him and his cruel teacher think that he’s underrated and won’t give him any freedom however he is amazed on how determined with himself that he’s become since that dream with the strange man from his dreams. He’s ready to take life into his own hands. People didn’t take him too serious, they think he’s just young and trying to enjoy life but honestly, he’s ready to build his life ahead and leaving behind the life he once had. People thought he could not make a choice in his life. Now he’s ready to be a full in control of himself. No one is there to neither pressurize him nor influence him! Kobus has more experience, he is following his own path. He’ll have more control and stand on his own two feet for he’s stronger than before. Back in his room, Parthalan is still haunted by the memory of his sister, smiling at him and she looked radiant in blue. His thoughts rambled through his mind of Nina again: “Nina, will you be my guardian angel? To protect me if you are no longer with me physically, possibly for your murder? I know you can’t be with me because you and I are apart from one another. I wish for your guidance and your sweet words, so we can get through this together. If you were brave or strong like me, if you had the opportunity to, you would still be with me. If you could follow me around wherever I may go, then you would wouldn’t you? You can’t because you don’t have the opportunity to do so. Yes, I am running for the sake of you with my heart, my hope, and I know you might never come back to me! Even so, I love you sister. I love you so much that you’ve become part of my life. With you gone, I learnt that I need to learn to move on but you will stay with me forever won’t you, Nina? If you weren’t murdered, would you rewrite what would happen so you could follow me no matter where I go and protect me from harm? If we’d stay together, you would follow me wherever I will go. I am done with this fear, Nina. I may not be strong enough to let this past me but I will look forward ahead against Korvin. This pain doesn’t matter to me anymore and life will go on. I am accepting this salvation; I’m going to put tall my fears behind me.”

Meanwhile, there was scuffling going on from a incorporated building of one particular office in Saylor Lake! “You can’t do this to me! You’re nothing more than a friggin’ wannabe of a cop, aren’t you? You always screwing around cuz you’re a woman!!!” A voice shouted from the office. There was scuffling and the window of the office door crashed open, that office door belonged to the private investigator name Lacey Michael; the dark  haired young woman  with the black attire of a jacket, jeans, scarf, and combat boots. No smile on her face. At all. “Talk to me that way again and I’ll make you regret. Didn’t anyone ever tell you it’s impolite to talk to a young lady like me like that and gets away with it.” She said. The thug who was thrown out was scared out of his wits as he ran off. This was a day in a life for Lacey Michael; she works as a private investigator for Bad Seeds Inc. She always got jackasses yelling at her and treats her like dirt. Bar fights from guys who want to take a swing at her. Drinking shots of whiskey and booze. However, Lacey wasn’t an ordinary 22 year old young woman! In ninth grade, she was just a shy individual student and felt invisible to other students. Lacey had a crush on this boy and was about to make contact with him with a greeting however that failed! Even though she was ‘invisible’, Lacey struggled to maintain a relationship with her older sister Elspeth ‘Elsie’. Elsie was uptight and took everything too seriously while Lacey was laidback, calm yet cool. One day, Lacey came to visit Elsie and uses bubbles to try and lighten up the classroom but Elsie wasn’t amused as she scolded at her. Saying she was interrupting the classroom. Lacey felt angry after her big sister forced to leave the classroom, where her students felt pity for Lacey as she was trying to have some fun. Then came that tragic event where Lacey, Elsie, and their parents name Tilan and Cecil were going on vacation. As they were driving; Lacey was tired of listening to Elsie’s success as the two sisters begin to argue with one another. Lacey calls her a hypocrite for being sweet and innocent around her family but couldn’t show kindness and claims she hates Lacey for being fun-loving and easy-going. The family’s vehicle crashed with a van, everything went black for Lacey. Two years later in her junior year of high school and close to senior; Lacey awoke from her coma as she learns that she was the only survivor of the car accident. Her family died in the accident, this made Lacey believe that it was her fault and blamed herself. She regrets on the argument with her sister as she wished she told her that she loves her. Lacey managed to get adopted by a nicer family and she returned to school. When she got back to school; Lacey was labeled as a freak and out-casted from others. She was harassed by a jock until she discovered her powers after punching the jock into a wall hard, shocking everyone. “SCREW YOU ALL!!!! GO JACK OFF IN A BOTTLE OF FORMALHYDE AND DIE, DIE AND BURN IN HELL FOR ALL I CARE!!!” Lacey shouted at them. She picked herself up and ran off. She’d get angry at anyone who tries to pity; she didn’t need anyone’s sympathy because of her loss. However she wanted to make good with her powers. She discovers she can glide, move a little more rapidly and heals faster. That’s when she came across a young, eccentric man name Gideon Tanner and his nice friend Leroy Brown. She came across him during the time she encountered him at a diner when he was alone as he was reading a book titled, “How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse” as this could be laughable but Lacey thought he was sweet.

It wasn’t until she discovered that Gideon a predator is after her! This boy isn’t just acting on primal instinct; he has been watching Lacey for a while and he decides that she is the perfect girl for his twisted version of a childhood game. This guy has had his eye on Lacey for a while now. No other girl has caught his eye for as long as she as. She is supremely beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The mysterious guy pulls up on Elsie in his car and offers her a ride. When she refused, he runs after her as in he’s trying to kidnap her. Despite the fact that she says no as she’s smart enough not to jump into the car, he continues to pursue her. He has finally caught up to her, pushing her down so she cannot run anymore and covering her mouth so she cannot scream. She’s been screaming for help but her situation is starting to seem hopeless. After kidnapping her, he’s still taunting her and making her relive the assault. The tinted windows will conceal her once she’s inside. He has a drug administered to her by Gideon to incapacitate her. She attempts to fight back her assaulter by biting him, but to no avail. Despite being bitten by Lacey in her attempts to get away, he loves just to hear her breathe. Gideon is fascinated by the proof of her presence through something as simple as her breathing, even though her breathing is most likely as result of struggling to escape. In his case, it’s perfection for the right girl that drives him to break social mores for this unachievable. After that pain; she’s given up her hope of being rescued. And she’s more bitter and angry. Leroy feels bad for her and he couldn’t do anything but observe the horror Gideon had done to her. There’s no telling how long Lacey has been with the wolf, but now she’s playing along in order to expose his defenses and make him vulnerable. It looks like the guy made a bad decision since she’ll be the reason for his destruction. The traumatized Lacey managed to escape from Tanner and she became a private investigator where she plans on tracking down Gideon Tanner and prevents him from causing a zombie apocalypse. She had to stop him once and for all, make him pay for what he did to her and to all those people as part of his experiment. Walking alone on these streets made Lacey paranoid a little as she felt like she could still hear Tanner calling her name, screaming her name. This made Lacey punch a window of an abandoned building as she managed to get away. “He has no power over me, he has no power over me, he has no power over me….” Every time her distressing state causes her to snap, Lacey always repeats this mantra many times until she calms down as she tries to remind herself that Tanner has nothing on her now. Never again will he hurt her or anyone else.
