Uranometria: Memoir Implant--Chapter 7

Here is the seventh chapter of Uranometria: Memoir Implant, Cassandra is going to a new world and things are gonna become really strange in the world of Vanaheim. A world where a half human-half fae must stop his father's evil destruction but is a mischievous fool of darkness with help from his friends. He becomes bedazzled by the mysterious Cassandra, little did he know that she's an agent who reads minds and control things telekinetically out of her reach. Along the way, Cassandra meets the 'dark fool' as she is reminded of Jack, Minerva, and Bellerophon almost. Please read and enjoy! --KatDon 

Chapter 7: The Fool, The Chariot, and The Brave 

"HEL-LO!!!!!" bellowed Cassandra into the Moneta Phone's receiver as that lead to the attention of someone in the world of Vanaheim. Dark hair, glow-like eyes, and good looking fellow. He jumped at the sight of that sound that he was the only one who could hear. But he wasn't the only one, a girl heard it too and this kid too. When the girl turned around, she let out a gasp: "AAAH!" The boy was so scared that he ducked down somewhere but he heard a 'Hello' echoed in his mind. "Hello?" The boy called out. Cassandra could hear it and became very excited. Amadan, Vanessa, and Oscar managed to meet up with them. They called out, "Anyone there?" Cassandra responds back, "Hel-lo? Who's there?" Perplexed, Amadan was the first to speak: "Um, this is Amadan....Amadan Dubhan." He said. "I'm Vanessa." The girl said. "And I'm Oscar." said the other boy. Cassandra was shocked to hear this, "Oscar? Vanessa? Amadan?" She got so excited that she turned to an agent and said, "Look, I got a reception!" The agent looked at her funny, then walked away with a cheesy smile. "I knew it, I knew there was life here from the intercom." Cassandra replied happily, ignoring the retrieving figure of the agent. Amadan was confused, a smile appeared on his face: "Intercom? What the hell are you talking about?" He asked. Cassandra didn't know what to say but she tried, "Um...Well...I don't know how to tell you this but...I come from another world." Amadan laughed, "I hate to bring this to you--Voice in our heads--but this here is Vanaheim." He said. "Seriously, who is this? The lone spirit?" asked Vanessa. "Um, no....This is Cassandra. Nice to meet you." Cassandra replied. "OK...'Cassandra'....Where are you?" Amadan replied, trying to play along. "Hmm, from where you are, I'm in a place where I can talk to you. I've trained myself physically and mentally so don't mind me I'm quite the type to rock the agency...I mean vacancy." Cassandra explained. "Wow, you sure are full of it." Amadan remarked. Moments later, there was silence. "Is everything okay over there?" Cassandra asked. Amadan and his friends are in great shocked, "Uh... I don't know. You tell me. You're the one with the world in your hands." Amadan said. "I do?" Then, she gasped in realization. "I got the whole world in my hands!" She clapped and then said, "Don't worry, my dear friends, I--!" But Amadan said, "Wait! Hold a second!" And it was all quiet. 

The world Amadan, Vanessa, and Oscar reside is a place called Vanaheim. Vanessa Cormac was once an ordinary girl who could see strange things that no one else can see, such as spirits and demons. Vanessa comes across a half-human, half fairy by the name of Amadan Dubhan. A sneaky, mischievous, arrogant young man whose mother, Nicnevin, died from childbirth and his stepfather Raja Jino Perez despises him as he blamed him for Nicnevin's death. Being very much rebellious; Amadan ran away from home as he begins to learn magic to play tricks on those who done wrong or miuse their magic to abuse others. One day, Amadan learns that his biological father is Alberich, he bewitched Nicnevin and there was a family secret of a tryst. Gleeful; Amadan meets Alberich but then his happiness turns sour when he is repulsed by his father's abusive behavior so now it's up to Amadan Dubhan and his new friends: Vanessa, an ordinary girl, and Oscar Nevin, a half-fairy hybrid human like Amadan, to stop the insane, unstable, and violent father for corrupting the world. Along the way; there is a chance encounter with Fairy Princess Ethna who serves the High Queen of Elvens by the name of Slaine. In the meantime, Turan has a vision of memories about Sarutobi and Kirigakure: Someone behind her approached. She turned around and said, "Hey, who are you?" Then, "Wait! What are you--? GET AWAY FROM ME!!!" CRASH, someone was pushing her out the window and the girl lost her footing and fell down, thinking that she would die but she survived. Hearing the crash; An older looking grl was shocked to see who it was and rushed over to see her sister bleeding from her nose and her ribs were broken, the girl looked up and saw the sniggering shadows as Aynia got angry: "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!" She shouted. "What? The twerp deserved it! She was a loser!" A voice said, still smirking down at the girl. "You wretched fools! She's my sister!" The girl screamed. The shadows stopped sniggering as they looked shocked. The injured was hazy as she looked up at the shadow figures. Guilt came across all of the shadows! This girl did not deserved this as they didn't mean it. In the meantime, a bullied girl name Malvina is beginning to have visions in her head of hell and is terrified until she is mentor under the wing of her own guardian. Malvina is a runaway teen who was abused by her parents and her guardian, Darach. While asleep, Oscar suddenly felt pain and he woke up with a startled jolt from his slumber, he couldn't believe of that dream he had and clutched his head. He calmed down and managed to get a grip. Eulalie stopped him and said, "One last thing..." She kissed his cheek. "Be good, no matter how much you talk back to people, please try to hold your tongue." Eulalie said. Oscar rolled his eyes, "Fine. OK." He admits, "...'Mom'." Eulalie was raised by her parents, who were kind people. They were tragically as Eulalie was taken in by her cruel grandmother, who like to put people down cruelly. And there was a boy who developed a crush on Eulalie and try to pursue her. However Eulalie only see this boy as a friend. But the boy was more deranged and obsessive of her so Eulalie couldn't trust anyone in this cult. However, besides the cult; there was some nice people that were enslaved in this place. Eulalie witness this as she was terrified while hiding in the closet. And she fled from that place! Oscar was shocked and comforted her in her sorrow. Just as she did to him in his dark time. 

"Did you seriously kill that monster?" asked Amadan, softly. Cassandra did a double take. "You don't know what it's called?" She asked in disbelief. Amadan looked at her with amazement, "What are you talking about?" he asked. "You never seen a Wendigo huh? Well, you sure hit it hard of the jackpot sir!" Cassandra pointed out. Just then, a voice called out. "Amadan! Who are you talking to?" He looked young, quite a fetching fellow. "Nobody!" Jack called, he turned back to Cassandra fiercely. "Listen, you gotta get out of here now!" He demanded. "Why? I can help!" Cassandra persisted. "I don't think you know this--" Jack started to say but the boy appeared, "Amadan? Who is this?" He asked. Cassandra smiled and held out her hand, "Cassandra Endymion. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said. The boy was stunt, he shook her hand though. "Oscar Nevin, wait! You're Cassandra?" He said. A girl with shoulder length hair appeared. "Boys, who is this girl?" She asked in a voice so soft but full of curiosity. "Who are you?" Cassandra asked, to the girl. "A friend. My name's Vanessa Cormac." In the present, Vanessa waved in her face: "Hey, are you OK?" She asked. Cassandra broke out of her reverie, "Huh?--Oh, yes! I'm fine. Sorry, I was spacing out." She claimed. "You sure you can help us out?" Vanessa asked. "Well...." Cassandra said, but Amadan put an arm around her and exclaimed, "Sure she can!" Oscar looked confused, "She can?" He asked. "Sh'yeah, I killed a Revenant." Cassandra admitted. Vanessa and Oscar were shocked. "How?!" They asked. "I have an ability where I can move obstacles or other things with my mental conscious." Cassandra explained. Oscar and Vanessa looked at each other, they turned to Amadan. "Should we let her help?" Oscar asked. "I guess but I don't know...." Amadan said. "Let her in, Amadan. She can be of help to us." Vanessa said. Amadan was annoyed but he agreed. Cassandra smiled with delight, "Thank you." She said. Cassandra had a vision in her head: Oinari and Konohana were searching for Tamamo Mae as they came across a young boy name Panji Ranka and his mother, Kirana. Panji was this 13 year old boy who admired Great Watch and Silver Branch as he insisted on going with these two, much to his mother dismay. Meanwhile; Tamamo Mae is packing a suitcase into a car, applying a wig and leaving the premises. Following this, she was trashing a house, arriving at a motel, purchasing food from a supermarket, whilst in disguise and sitting in a diner. Tamamo Mae is wandering amongst the desert. She removes her wig and proceeds to wander alone in the desert. Later, Tamamo Mae is dancing in the streets, she looked around her of the glittering new nightlife, where it has this magic, fizzing white energy. And she could hear an Eurodance song that had a minimalist club sound to it. "I love this person with all my heart, and yet it’s turning me vengeful." She thought to herself. 

Unknown to her, on the rooftop; Oinari, Konohana, and Panji observe her from above. Then, Tamamo Mae confronted Onibaba and demanded to know what's going on. Okiku proudly explains on being part of the Wendigos and tells her niece about the monsters: The monsters were craving for flesh and blood, but the scary part was coming up. The monsters were mindless animals intent tearing into people's skin and muscles. But nobody knew that the monsters had a mind though. One mind. The mind of the beast, and it's far more intelligent. It controls them. All of them. Like the mind is like a legion of demons, like the hive intelligence. "Why are you doing this? What kind of achievement is this she's trying to do?" demanded Tamamo Mae. Okiku turned to her omniously, "You mean you don't know?" She said. Okiku pulled out a fairytale book. She flipped through the pages and showed Tamamo Mae of the story of Snow White. "According to the tale, the stepmother wishes to be the fairest of them all, not Snow White. She was so jealous and wanted all the beauty for herself." Onibaba explained. Tamamo Mae was terrified as she realized all this dread will make Onibaba to be more beautiful than before. Beira wanted to look beautiful forever as she feared of getting older and older so the only way to do all this was to sacrifice a lot of innocent people. The beach, all those people, the incident with the ship, all the people's bodies were torn apart which were found in the water. This was all too ridiculous. "How much lives are you taking? I won't let you get away with this, Aunt Okiku!" Tamamo Mae vowed. Okiku turned to her and said, "Oh, you will. After I do....THIS!!!!" Okiku said, pushing her own niece out the window and Tamamo Mae fell as she thought that she would die. Before she blacked out; she remembers hearing: "Tamamo Mae, where are… Tamamo Mae? Is that you? Oh god!"  Later; Tamamo Mae slowly opened her eyes as she looked around and there she saw Oinari, Konohana, and the young boy Panji. She smiled sadly as she said in a soft tone, "Hello Oinari...Konohana...." But she couldn't help look around and asked, "Where am I?" "You're at Great Watch HQ. Look, you need to tell us what happened out there." Oinari said. Tamamo Mae turned away sobbing, "Kill me." She gasped out. "What?" Oinari questioned, shocked by this as well as the other two. Tamamo Mae turned back with tears streaming down her face, "Kill me before I kill someone else." She begged. Konohana was upset by this, "Don't you dare say that." She said. "Please...Oinari..." Tamamo Mae said. Oinari clenched his fist, squeezed his eyes shut as he rasped back: "Stop it." Then, Tamamo Mae screamed, "Kill me!" Her telekinesis almost caused a ruckus as Oinari stopped her by restraining her and Tamamo Mae snapped out of it as her powers ceased. 

Oinari comforted her, "I won't, neither of us will." He said to her over and over again. But then he turned to his allies and said, "Konohana, Panji, could you give us a minute?" Konohana nodded, she lead Panji out, who looked back with pity in his eyes for Tamamo Mae. Once they left the room; Oinari turned to her and said, "Are you good? Are you beautiful?" Tamamo Mae looked at him, "What are you talking about?" asked the vixen. "Could beauty be related to anything better than goodness? Or what you done as you want me to kill you?" suggested Oinari. Tamamo Mae grinned bitterly, "Heh, sure, since beauty’s power can more easily change a good girl into a whore than the power of goodness can change a beautiful girl into a pure maiden. This used to be a great puzzle, but now I’ve solved it." But her smile fades as she openly admits, "I did love you once." Oinari nodded, "You certainly made me believe you did." He agreed. "I just disappointed by your actions in the relationship, and though you love me, but I can’t help but be upset by the lack of involvement." Tamamo Mae nodded, "I know, I'm sorry." She said. Oinari didn't stop there, he continued to talk: "And that one guy you were with...How he made you feel and you were so upset how you lost him like you lost the loves of your life." "Yeah...Tragic." Tamamo Mae muttered. "And you said my name, Konohana's name, and your mother's but you screamed that guy's name."  Oinari said while sitting at the edge of the hospital bed. Tamamo Mae smiled sheepishly, "Oinari, you're making me blush." She said. "I realized this was a bad decision. I regret of leaving you, I was upset with you, but I feel I overreacted by that. I now wants to move on and forget about the breakup, but can’t let go of what has happened. I want more and more so I don't feel sad. I don't want materialistic goods, I want something from the heart. I want love." They looked like they were about to kiss but Oinari turned away, "I can't.....I have a girlfriend...." He said. Tamamo Mae nodded, "Right, I'm sorry." She said. "It's fine." Oinari said, but Tamamo Mae didn't think it was OK: "And also about Sigmund....He--I---" She stuttered out. Oinari didn't mind, "No, it's all right. I was....." Before he could finished, someone stormed in and it was none other than Okiku, who held a gun at Tamamo Mae as she said: "This time, I will kill you!" Tamamo Mae gasped however Oinari and Konohana stopped her as Tamamo Mae used her powers to wield the gun away from even firing. Panji was scared as Tamamo Mae wrapped her arms around him and said, "Don't worry, kid. It's OK." Okiku was restrained and arrested for attempt to murder her. 

How did this happened? Let's go back to the beginning, shall we? 

Earlier before....

Cassandra, Kintaro, Tsuna, Sarutobi, Kirgakure, and the other recruits arrived at the Gobbstopper Competition and found that it was in an indoor stadium dome. "So, this is the arena of the Gobbstopper Competition. Hmm, cool." Cass said. They stepped inside where the announcer by the name of Tonya, the one in charge, greeted them and got to meet Cassandra: "Congratulations; you made it. How about getting rid of the opponents above you, and aim for the top? And defeat the Harpy Queen?" Tonya asked. Cassandra was amazed, she accepted. Later while in her bunk room of the stadium dome; she laid there as she waited and try to make herself comfortable whrn hrt cell rang and she answered it. "Cassandra, your first fight is arranged. Are you ready?" Tonya asked. Cassandra nodded, "On my way." She said. After she hung up; Cass head over as her phone beeeped and there was a name in big letters with a computer voice, "ARSENE." and the opponent's  voice appears, "Hit me with your best shot!" Cassandra arrived in the arena and looked at Arsene. "So, you ready?" She asked. "Bring it, girlie." And the fight begins as they clash with one another. Arsene's friends appeared from behind. Then, Cass prepared herself as she waited for the enemies to come before she gave them a sucker punch. Kintaro and the allies were in disbelief turned to shock, they were amazed by this. Cass noticed they were staring and made a joke, "OK, OK, I look pretty so what?" Her allies were really shocked by this before laughing themselves silly by this shocking amazement. Just then, Kintaro's smile faded as he saw a banshee creeping p behind Cass. "LOOK OUT!" He cried. Too late, her heart got gouged again--Again! This time like before; Cass rise, her eyes were hollow and black with red pupils. She had blood coming from the whole in her chest. Her appearance was different: There were short ram horns, her hair became red like mahogany, her clothes matched her hair and her face was pinkish white. She was rising as some sort of undead being who was slaughtering the banshees in order to get her heart back. And she fought viciously. Kintaro and the others watched with amazement, they were shocked by this. They couldn't believe that someone like her would do such things. Once Cassandra steadied herself; she looked around and horrified of the battle of defeated opponents, alive but unconscious. "Wow...What happened here?" asked Cass. Kintaro and the others were in disbelief as Tsuna was about to say, "Um...well....." but Kintaro elbowed him as he said, "Nothing! It was nothing!" Cass looked at them funny, "OK....I think. Heh, so was I good out there or what?" He said. "You rock!" said Kintaro with enthusiasm. 

Stunt; Cass begin to smile, "Oh, thanks." She said. "No, really! You should've seen yourself fighting them viciously!" Tsuna exclaimed. Cass almost laughed, "What? I didn't pulverized them." She said. "Yeah, you did! Remember when you're heart was ripped out? You came back to life and took them on....Violently!" Sarutobi explained. Aynia shook her head, "Uh huh, sure." She said. "Don't believe me? Look at the Moneta!" exclaimed Gavin. So, Aynia did as she smirked but then, she saw was herself but it could't be. Her wound in her chest where her heart used tobe and all that rage...That unbelievably rage inside of a girl. "You mean, that was me?" gasped Cassandra. "Sure as hell. Who else would it be?" Gavin replied. Cass placed the Moneta down and pulled Kintaro in a link of arms as they were pulled close to her, "Now be honest with me boys....Do I really look that bad?" Cassandra asked. The two boys didn't know what to say, "Uh....." They said. Then, Tsuna said, ".....No." Cass looked at him with disbelief, Kintaro's palm hits his head and exclaimed: "IDIOT, YOU HESITATED!" Tsuna turned back, "NO, I DIDN'T!!!" He shouted. Cass pushed the two apart as she said, "GUYS!!! Enough, come on! Really?" Arsene raised his head and laughed, "Not bad....For a girl." He said. Cass panted, smiling back. "Thanks. I. don't. I don't know my own strength." She said while gasping for breath. Arsene struggles to get up and walks off. Previously; Cassandra got up and was about to leave when she was hit with a bottle, she was OK but unconscious. Later, Cass woke up to hear voices: "She awake yet?!" A voice said, almost loud. "Calm down, geez!" The second voice rebuked. "Stop fighting, you guys, she'll wake up scared." A third voice replied. "She'll already be scared, stupid!" The first said. "Hey, what did I tell you about saying bad words to others?" The third scolded. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll keep quiet." remarked the first voice. "I can't believe you talked us into this." A fourth voice moaned. "I still can't believe I wanted to do this." complained the first. "How did you get her in here anyway?" asked the second. "My own way." The first voice remarked, the tone in his voice sounds like he was smiling. "Hey, I know you. You hit me in the head with that bottle." Cass said, pointing over to the crimson-red haired guy. The other guy with dark hair looked at this friend, "What?" He said. The crimson-red haired guy grinned nervously, "Heh, works every time?" He said. But then jumps up in front of Cass, who flinched. "But hey, she looks cute, so what's your name doll?" He said. "Doll?" The second guy snapped. The dark haired guy rolled his eyes, "Ah, the word of the day for when you see a cute girl." He said. Cass looked around shy, "My name is Cassandra." She said. The red head grinned and nodded with approval, "Straight forward cool." He said, "Jail friggin' bait. Jack friggin' pot, baby!" A few moments later; Cass got to know the gang as their names are Arsene, Esclabor, Brunor, and Danilo. Cassandra returns with these four members as well as Kintaro and the other guys. When Cassandra and the others returned, she is summoned by Mimir who tells her that he has arranged something for her to use a Moneta Phone which can help her contact people inside their minds. Cass confirms, she finds this a little too weird anyway. 

Later on, She tuned and twisted buttons and knobs like a radio. Cass wasn't have much luck finding any signals or anything. Just then, she heard a voice that made her gasp. Three of them. Then, Cassandra decided to try something as she increased the reception and then heard the voices loud and clear. And what she did next was surprising, she took a deep, big breath and then let out a holler so loud, it hurt her lungs. "OK...'Cassandra'....Where are you?" Amadan replied, trying to play along. "Hmm, from where you are, I'm in a place where I can talk to you. "Don't believe me? Watch what I can do." She said, using a portal to play some games. "You are crazy, how do you--?" Then, things around in Vanaheim begin to levitate as Amadan, Vanessa, and Oscar are shocked. They were dodging, running a bit, and hiding until it was all over. Afterwards, the three of them emerged from their hiding spots as Cassandra spoke to them excitedly, "You see? I can control things that nobody else can control. I am no god, nor devil, nor anything from what you imagine. I can be a dream, yes but once you push my buttons, I can be a nightmare. I am nice, I am sweet, but I am a force to be reckoned with. But I am from another world." Cassandra said. There was silence there and quiet. Pretty eerie. "Is everything okay over there?" Cassandra asked. Amadan and his friends are in great shocked, "Uh... I don't know. You tell me. You're the one with the world in your hands." Amadan said. "I do?" Then, she gasped in realization. "I got the whole world in my hands!" She clapped and then said, "Don't worry, my dear friends, I--!" But Amadan said, "Wait! Hold a second!" And it was all quiet. In the meantime; Amadan, Vanessa, and Oscar learns about what just occured that this power could be the spirits. Unknow to them that it was just telekinesis that Cassandra used. Cassandra, on the other side of her world, prepares herself to go on her mission to Vanaheim along with the others. During that time, Cassandra decided to do a trick while falling and flying but she almost fell on hard spikes so sharp so she eased herself away but bumped and fell multiple times. And safely landed but not softly. "Ooof!" Cassandra moaned, "I am not doing that again!" She blinked her eyes and looked around of an urban city: "Whoa, this is Vanaheim? Mind for the taking." From behind, a voice startles her: "HEL-LO!!!!!" Cassandra jumped and spun around to see a bedazzled young man with short dark blue hair with his bangs swept to the side of his face. He wore a white T-shirt, a black long sleeved jacket, and black slacks. In addition, he wears a glove over his left hand and has something along the side of his hip. "You scared me, whew! Almost wet myself." She said while laughing. "What's your name?" The guy asked. "Cassandra?" Cass replied. The guy's eyes widened with amazement, "You're the Cassandra? The girl who talked in our heads?" He almost exclaimed. Cassandra nodded, "Mmm Hmm." She said. Amadan cracked a smile, "Oh crap." He said. "And you're Amadan? Amadan Dubhan, right?" inquired Cassandra. 

She just had to say that, because Amadan open his big, cake hold of a mouth to let out a whole lot of boasting: "Yes!!!! My name is Amadan Dubhan: for I am the Fool of the Darkness and yet, I am not purely evil as some might considered. I will ascend from the heavens to take on evil, I will raise my throne above the stars of evil. I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly on the utmost heights of the evil Alberich. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;I will make myself nothing like the Great Alberich. I am the way, the truth and the life of good! I am above good and evil, from right and wrong. I may have my moments but I will fight for truth, justice, and find the pursuit of happiness!" Cassandra was annoyed but yet a smile came upon her lips. Just then, she had a vision of a Wendigo that is about to attack Amadan, who was still ranting. Cass grabs him and shouted, "Look out!" They managed to dodge the Wendigo and it came upon Cass, who used her powers to push it away. The Wendigo grabbed Cassandra and she used her abilites to kill it. Cass smirks at it until she noticed Amadan's shocked look. "Did you seriously kill that monster?" asked Amadan, softly. Cassandra did a double take. "You don't know what it's called?" She asked in disbelief. Amadan looked at her with amazement, "What are you talking about?" he asked. "You never seen a Wendigo huh? Well, you sure hit it hard of the jackpot sir!" Cassandra pointed out. Just then, a voice called out. "Amadan! Who are you talking to?" He looked young, quite a fetching fellow. "Nobody!" Jack called, he turned back to Cassandra fiercely. "Listen, you gotta get out of here now!" He demanded. "Why? I can help!" Cassandra persisted. "I don't think you know this--" Jack started to say but the boy appeared, "Amadan? Who is this?" He asked. Cassandra smiled and held out her hand, "Cassandra Endymion. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said. The boy was stunt, he shook her hand though. "Oscar Nevin, wait! You're Cassandra?" He said. A girl with shoulder length hair appeared. "Boys, who is this girl?" She asked in a voice so soft but full of curiosity. "Who are you?" Cassandra asked, to the girl. "A friend. My name's Vanessa Cormac." Just then, somehow this all seemed too familiar to her. It was like in her previous missions...Like the day she met Jack and his two best friends: Cassandra was stunt for a while before a grin broke over her face. She giggled to herself, "I did it! Ew....I really did it! I can't believe it! I just nobody saw--" She turns around as her smile faded. "--That."What she saw was a 15 year old boy. Chocolate brown hair. Red eyes. Light skin. Buttoned shirt, a cap on his head, it looks like. He was a teenage soldier, who looked horrified at Cassandra. He saw it, he saw her kill that beast. "Oh crap." Cassandra thought. "Busted! How do I get myself out of this?" She slowly smiled kindly, "Hello there---" she greeted but the boy lunged at her, "AAAAHHHH!" He cried. The boy begin to claw at her like a wild man. Trying to punch her but Cassandra restrained the boy. "Hey! Hey!" She protested, the boy did not yield. "Stop! Cease! Take it easy! Will you stop?! I am not going to hurt you!" Cassandra held the boy's fists away from her. "Who are you?!" The boy demanded. "My name is Cassandra. I swear, I will not hurt you. Here, I am not going to hurt--" She reaches over to touch his face but the boy recoiled away. "Get away, no! Don't you dare--Don't--" But he was helpless, Cassandra was calm as she stroke her hand on his face. At once, Cassandra could read his mind, know his name. But not completely of a lot.
"Did you seriously kill that Revenant?" asked the boy, softly. Cassandra did a double take. "That's a Revenant?" She asked in disbelief. The boy looked at her with amazement, "You never seen one before?" he asked. "I heard of them..but in all honesty, I didn't know that was an actual Revenant!" Cassandra pointed out. Just then, a voice called out. "Jack! Who are you talking to?" Another boy in the same uniform as the other guy's was standing there. He looked young, quite a fetching fellow. "Nobody!" Jack called, he turned back to Cassandra fiercely. "Listen, you gotta get out of here now!" He demanded. "Why? I can help!" Cassandra persisted. "No, you--" Jack started to say but the boy calls back: "Jack, who is that?" "No one!" Jack snapped. He turned to Cassandra with pleading eyes. "Please, get out now!" He begged. "I can help. I can hear that your thoughts are disoriented so--" Cassandra insisted, but Jack stopped her out of shock. "What?" He gasped. "You--you--can read minds? You can hear my thoughts inside of your own head?" "Of course I can." Cassandra said, in a matter of fact tone. Jack was shaken out of fear. The red haired boy appeared, "Jack? Who is this?" He asked. Cassandra smiled and held out her hand, "Cassandra Endymion. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said. The boy was stunt, he shook her hand though. "I'm Bellerophon Leseratte." He said. A girl with shoulder length hair appeared, wearing the same uniform as Jack and Bellerophon. "Boys, who is this girl?" She asked in a voice so soft but full of curiosity. "Wow, this your girlfriend?" Cassandra asked, to Jack. Jack glared at her, "She's not my girlfriend!" He declared. "Who are you? A witch?" The girl asked. "I am no witch, I am an ally and I came to help." Cassandra said. In the present, Vanessa waved in her face: "Hey, are you OK?" She asked. Cassandra broke out of her reverie, "Huh?--Oh, yes! I'm fine. Sorry, I was spacing out." She claimed. "You sure you can help us out?" Vanessa asked. "Well...." Cassandra said, but Amadan put an arm around her and exclaimed, "Sure she can!" Oscar looked confused, "She can?" He asked. "Sh'yeah, I killed a Revenant." Cassandra admitted. Vanessa and Oscar were shocked. "How?!" They asked. "I have an ability where I can move obstacles or other things with my mental conscious." Cassandra explained. Oscar and Vanessa looked at each other, they turned to Amadan. "Should we let her help?" Oscar asked. "I guess but I don't know...." Amadan said. "Let her in, Amadan. She can be of help to us." Vanessa said. Amadan was annoyed but he agreed. Cassandra smiled with delight, "Thank you." She said. 

Her memories begin to come back to her: "No, she's--" Jack started to say, but the girl stopped him. "Hold up, Jack. This girl may able to help." She said, coming to Cassandra's rescue. "Sh'yeah, I killed a Revenant." Cassandra admitted. Bellerphon and the girl were shocked. "How?!" They asked. "I have an ability where I can move obstacles or other things with my mental conscious." Cassandra explained. Bellerphon and the girl looked at each other, they turned to Jack. "You know about this?" Bellerphon asked. "Yeah, but she doesn't know what the military does here." Jack said. "Let her help, Jack. She can be of help to us." The girl said. Jack was irked but he agreed. Cassandra smiled with delight, "Thank you." She said. The girl turned to her, she stretched out her hand. Although her stern face remained unchanged; she sounded nicer. "I'm Minerva Toter." "I'm Cassandra--" Cassandra said but other Revenants attacked and Cassandra, Jack, Minerva, and Bellerphon prepared for battle. They ran from them while battling. “Who are you? Why the hell did you come here?” screeched Jack. "Be careful, Jack Morder. Don't do anything reckless!" Cassandra called out. "How did you know my name?" Jack asked with shock. Busted! Cassandra turned away, "Later!" She shouted. The Revenants were chasing after them. Cassandra thought craftily as she reached over to Jack, carried him into her arms and flied! Jack was amazed by this, "What? You can fly?" He asked. Minerva and Bellerphon watched in amazement but they followed the gliding Cassandra. "YOU! CAN! FLY!" Jack shouted, Cassandra smiled at him. Minerva, and Bellerphon were amazed as well: "Oh my..." Bellerphon breathed. The two followed Cassandra and Jack to wherever they are going. They managed to find a quiet, abandoned place and landed there. Cassandra let  Jack go safely from her grasp."So, whatcha think?" Cassandra asked with a smile. Jack was speechless until he remembered what happened. "Arrrgghhh!!!!!!!" He shouted.  Jack charged at her with a vorpal blade but it smashed into a wall. "You're right, you're right. I was trying to show you--" Cassandra said quickly as possible. "You....You!"  Jack warned. "Right, sorry! Sorry!" Cassandra apologized."OK, OK, Take it easy." She claimed.  Jack nodded, "Are you an angel? A demon?" He asked. “Not at all, I just…I don’t know what I am but I can tell you one thing. I am no demon nor angel. I come in peace and came to know you— Jack Morder. Please, let me talk to the authorities and explain what’s going on.” Cassandra explained. At once; Jack lowered his weapon and nodded. “OK. I’ll trust you. But if you pull anything, I’ll kill you.” He said. Cassandra nods, obeying to his word but she fear of being hurt again. Minerva and Bellerphon came by, “Are you OK?” Minerva asked. “I am now.” Jack said. Minerva and Bellerphon stared at Cassandra with curiosity. Wondering who she is. Back in the present, Cassandra couldn't help but wonder about these people remind her of her friends.

In the meantime, a bullied girl name Malvina is beginning to have visions in her head of hell and is terrified until she is mentor under the wing of her own guardian. Malvina is a runaway teen who was abused by her parents and her guardian, Darach, who is an exorcist. But Vasilissa watched Malvina as she begins to feel bad for her. While asleep, Oscar suddenly felt pain and he woke up with a startled jolt from his slumber, he couldn't believe of that dream he had and clutched his head. He calmed down and managed to get a grip. Eulalie stopped him and said, "One last thing..." She kissed his cheek. "Be good, no matter how much you talk back to people, please try to hold your tongue." Eulalie said. Oscar rolled his eyes, "Fine. OK." He admits, "...'Mom'." That's when he learns the truth about this mysterious girl: Eulalie was raised by her parents, who were kind people. They were tragically as Eulalie was taken in by her cruel grandmother, who like to put people down cruelly. And there was a boy who developed a crush on Eulalie and try to pursue her. However Eulalie only see this boy as a friend. But the boy was more deranged and obsessive of her so Eulalie couldn't trust anyone in this cult. However, besides the cult; there was some nice people that were enslaved in this place. Eulalie witness this as she was terrified while hiding in the closet. And she fled from that place! Oscar was shocked and comforted her in her sorrow. Just as she did to him in his dark time. Cassandra, for the time being, learns about this place of Vanaheim; The world Amadan, Vanessa, and Oscar reside is a place called Vanaheim. Vanessa Cormac was once an ordinary girl who could see strange things that no one else can see, such as spirits and demons. Vanessa comes across a half-human, half fairy by the name of Amadan Dubhan. A sneaky, mischievous, arrogant young man whose mother, Nicnevin, died from childbirth and his stepfather Raja Jino Perez despises him as he blamed him for Nicnevin's death. Being very much rebellious; Amadan ran away from home as he begins to learn magic to play tricks on those who done wrong or miuse their magic to abuse others. One day, Amadan learns that his biological father is Alberich, he bewitched Nicnevin and there was a family secret of a tryst. Gleeful; Amadan meets Alberich but then his happiness turns sour when he is repulsed by his father's abusive behavior so now it's up to Amadan Dubhan and his new friends: Vanessa, an ordinary girl, and Oscar Nevin, a half-fairy hybrid human like Amadan, to stop the insane, unstable, and violent father for corrupting the world. Along the way; there is a chance encounter with Fairy Princess Ethna who serves the High Queen of Elvens by the name of Slaine. While working alone, Turan begins to have visions in her head over and over again from Sarutobi and Kirigakure's pasts: Someone behind her approached. She turned around and said, "Hey, who are you?" Then, "Wait! What are you--? GET AWAY FROM ME!!!" CRASH, someone was pushing her out the window and the girl lost her footing and fell down, thinking that she would die but she survived. Hearing the crash; An older looking grl was shocked to see who it was and rushed over to see her sister bleeding from her nose and her ribs were broken, the girl looked up and saw the sniggering shadows as Aynia got angry: "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!" She shouted. "What? The twerp deserved it! She was a loser!" A voice said, still smirking down at the girl. "You wretched fools! She's my sister!" The girl screamed. The shadows stopped sniggering as they looked shocked. The injured was hazy as she looked up at the shadow figures. Guilt came across all of the shadows! This girl did not deserved this as they didn't mean it. 

Cassandra had a vision in her head: Oinari and Konohana were searching for Tamamo Mae as they came across a young boy name Panji Ranka and his mother, Kirana. Panji was this 13 year old boy who admired Great Watch and Silver Branch as he insisted on going with these two, much to his mother dismay. Meanwhile; Tamamo Mae is packing a suitcase into a car, applying a wig and leaving the premises. Following this, she was trashing a house, arriving at a motel, purchasing food from a supermarket, whilst in disguise and sitting in a diner. Tamamo Mae is wandering amongst the desert. She removes her wig and proceeds to wander alone in the desert. Later, Tamamo Mae is dancing in the streets, she looked around her of the glittering new nightlife, where it has this magic, fizzing white energy. And she could hear an Eurodance song that had a minimalist club sound to it. "I love this person with all my heart, and yet it’s turning me vengeful." She thought to herself. Unknown to her, on the rooftop; Oinari, Konohana, and Panji observe her from above. Then, Tamamo Mae confronted Onibaba and demanded to know what's going on. Okiku proudly explains on being part of the Wendigos and tells her niece about the monsters: The monsters were craving for flesh and blood, but the scary part was coming up. The monsters were mindless animals intent tearing into people's skin and muscles. But nobody knew that the monsters had a mind though. One mind. The mind of the beast, and it's far more intelligent. It controls them. All of them. Like the mind is like a legion of demons, like the hive intelligence. "Why are you doing this? What kind of achievement is this she's trying to do?" demanded Tamamo Mae. Okiku turned to her omniously, "You mean you don't know?" She said. Okiku pulled out a fairytale book. She flipped through the pages and showed Tamamo Mae of the story of Snow White. "According to the tale, the stepmother wishes to be the fairest of them all, not Snow White. She was so jealous and wanted all the beauty for herself." Onibaba explained. Tamamo Mae was terrified as she realized all this dread will make Onibaba to be more beautiful than before. Beira wanted to look beautiful forever as she feared of getting older and older so the only way to do all this was to sacrifice a lot of innocent people. The beach, all those people, the incident with the ship, all the people's bodies were torn apart which were found in the water. This was all too ridiculous. "How much lives are you taking? I won't let you get away with this, Aunt Okiku!" Tamamo Mae vowed. Okiku turned to her and said, "Oh, you will. After I do....THIS!!!!" Okiku said, pushing her own niece out the window and Tamamo Mae fell as she thought that she would die. Before she blacked out; she remembers hearing: "Tamamo Mae, where are… Tamamo Mae? Is that you? Oh god!"  Later; Tamamo Mae slowly opened her eyes as she looked around and there she saw Oinari, Konohana, and the young boy Panji. She smiled sadly as she said in a soft tone, "Hello Oinari...Konohana...." But she couldn't help look around and asked, "Where am I?" "You're at Great Watch HQ. Look, you need to tell us what happened out there." Oinari said. Tamamo Mae turned away sobbing, "Kill me." She gasped out. "What?" Oinari questioned, shocked by this as well as the other two. Tamamo Mae turned back with tears streaming down her face, "Kill me before I kill someone else." She begged. Konohana was upset by this, "Don't you dare say that." She said. "Please...Oinari..." Tamamo Mae said. Oinari clenched his fist, squeezed his eyes shut as he rasped back: "Stop it." Then, Tamamo Mae screamed, "Kill me!" Her telekinesis almost caused a ruckus as Oinari stopped her by restraining her and Tamamo Mae snapped out of it as her powers ceased. 

Oinari comforted her, "I won't, neither of us will." He said to her over and over again. But then he turned to his allies and said, "Konohana, Panji, could you give us a minute?" Konohana nodded, she lead Panji out, who looked back with pity in his eyes for Tamamo Mae. Once they left the room; Oinari turned to her and said, "Are you good? Are you beautiful?" Tamamo Mae looked at him, "What are you talking about?" asked the vixen. "Could beauty be related to anything better than goodness? Or what you done as you want me to kill you?" suggested Oinari. Tamamo Mae grinned bitterly, "Heh, sure, since beauty’s power can more easily change a good girl into a whore than the power of goodness can change a beautiful girl into a pure maiden. This used to be a great puzzle, but now I’ve solved it." But her smile fades as she openly admits, "I did love you once." Oinari nodded, "You certainly made me believe you did." He agreed. "I just disappointed by your actions in the relationship, and though you love me, but I can’t help but be upset by the lack of involvement." Tamamo Mae nodded, "I know, I'm sorry." She said. Oinari didn't stop there, he continued to talk: "And that one guy you were with...How he made you feel and you were so upset how you lost him like you lost the loves of your life." "Yeah...Tragic." Tamamo Mae muttered. "And you said my name, Konohana's name, and your mother's but you screamed that guy's name."  Oinari said while sitting at the edge of the hospital bed. Tamamo Mae smiled sheepishly, "Oinari, you're making me blush." She said. "I realized this was a bad decision. I regret of leaving you, I was upset with you, but I feel I overreacted by that. I now wants to move on and forget about the breakup, but can’t let go of what has happened. I want more and more so I don't feel sad. I don't want materialistic goods, I want something from the heart. I want love." They looked like they were about to kiss but Oinari turned away, "I can't.....I have a girlfriend...." He said. Tamamo Mae nodded, "Right, I'm sorry." She said. "It's fine." Oinari said, but Tamamo Mae didn't think it was OK: "And also about Sigmund....He--I---" She stuttered out. Oinari didn't mind, "No, it's all right. I was....." Before he could finished, someone stormed in and it was none other than Okiku, who held a gun at Tamamo Mae as she said: "This time, I will kill you!" Tamamo Mae gasped however Oinari and Konohana stopped hwe as Tamamo Mae used her powers to wield the gun away from even firing. Panji was scared as Tamamo Mae wrapped her arms around him and said, "Don't worry, kid. It's OK." Okiku was restrained and arrested for attempt to murder her. 

Meanwhile; Cassandra, Amadan, Eulalie, Oscar, Deirdre, and Vanessa are hanging out with one another until Cass's cellphone. Her face fell when she saw and looked up with a fake smile. "Can I take this?" Cassandra questioned. Amadan nodded, "Sure." He said, but noticed Cassandra's face looked troubled. Cassandra smiled, "Excuse me." She said and left the room. Then, she answered the phone: "Hello?" A voice she recognized made her stomach dropped, "Hi honey." It was her father's voice. "Dad...Um, hi." Cassandra said, trying her best to stay calm. "It's good to hear your voice. I missed you. I've been in so much trouble lately. Here I am in the hospital. Your grandmother is blessed to be alive, she almost died." Her father said. Cassandra was shocked, "Grandma? Is she OK?" She asked. "She just almost overdosed on pills, honey. She's going to make it, she wanted to commit suicide but thank the angels she's going to live." Her father said. "Oh, good. I'm glad." Cassandra sighed. "But you just had to go and say that." Boreas said in a snarky tone. "What? What do you mean?" demanded Cassandra. "You threatened us, you were going to drop the house on us! How could you say that?" Boreas said. "I wasn't going to do it, I was mad at how the relatives were so dysfuctional, I wasn't going to do it. I was trying to shake some sense into them!" Cassandra said, raising her voice a little but managed to speak in a low tone. "Well, well, the greatest agent of the shitty corporation decided to lie about it in order for someone to commit suicide almost." Boreas said in a mean tone. Cass was furious, "Well that's a load of crap. Who the hell were you to say that?" She argued. "I'm your father, Cassie. And you show your daddy respect. You deserved it. Believe me, you were nothing but ungrateful. You and your mother--even Vasilissa and her crazy mother!" Boreas scolded. "Crazy mother? Vasilissa? She was having a hard time since you came around! I've been trying to be good, I made a lot of mistakes. I'm only human, I have to live with the threat of my existance." Cassandra argued. "Good. You break everything you touch." Boreas said. "You do too." Cassandra barked. Silence, now she wished she didn't say that. "What you say? What's the matter with you?" yelled Boreas. Cassandra try to repair what she had done, "Dad, stop. Let's just have a nice conversation." She said. A pause and then, a scoff: "A nice conversation?" Cass shrugged, "Yes." She said. She didn't noticed that Amadan was listening in. "Here's your nice conversation, bitch! I get no respect from my own family!" Boreas yelled in her ear over the phone. "Look, I'm sorry. I said that. I'm sorry." Cassandra said. "Yeah, yeah, you say that every time." Boreas said, maliciously. "Please just stop." Cassandra begged.  "No! This time, you listen!" Boreas said, "You're not half enough of a young lady to talk that way to me. You ruinied everything you touch, God is punishing you because of what you done to me!" "SAYS WHO YOU SON OF A BITCH?!" Cassandra screamed. 

There was a silence, "God never punishes anyone, he holds nothing against me. But you? You don't get it and here I thought you came to tell me about grandma but now, you're gonna tell me that I wanted you all dead? NEVER, NEVER! If I wanted that, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself but that's different. I never said that! If anyone should say that, it's you!" Cassandra said. "You suck!" Boreas shouted. "Go to hell!" Cassandra screamed, she hung up and slammed the floor on the other side of the room. Then, curling up on the sofa; she begins to cry. "Cass?" Amadan said. Cass turned to see him standing there, "Hi Amadan." She greeted. Amadan smiled but then he looked at her with concern, "You look troubled, are you OK?" He asked. Cass nodded, "I'm fine." She claimed. "You don't look too great." Amadan said. "Really, I'm just tired." insisted Cass. "Cassandra!" snapped Amadan, "Don't you lie to me! I want the truth now!" Cassandra begin crying, "My dad has been saying crazy things....He's causing madness and I feel like I can't stop him from all the bad things he's saying to everyone here and other places. If he keeps this up, I don't want to be around him. They all think he's a saint but he really is a monster! A monster..." Cassandra explained, she started crying again. Amadan embraced her, "Don't worry. Just don't cry. Please, Cass, don't cry." He soothed her. Once she calmed down, Cassandra rest her head on Amadan's shoulder. "So, you're not scared of me?" Cassandra asked. "No." Amadan said. "Can we be friends?" Cassandra asked. "Of course!" replied Amadan. He hugged her, "C'mon. Lets go be psychos together!" He said, taking her hands. Just then; Cass grabbed the Dark Fool, he leaned over and whispered in Amadan's ear: "Can you do me a favor?" Amadan nodded, "Yeah, what is it?" He replied. "Put your arms around me and hold on. Close your eyes." Cass commanded softly. Hearing this, Amadan made a face while flushing, "What? Is this some sort of trick of seduction?" He demanded. "Just do it!" Cass snapped in a whispery tone. "Fine." Amadan said softly. He wrapped his arms around her waist, which made Cassandra blushed a little. Then, she turned and said in the ear communicator to her friends, "Eulalie, Deirdre." She said. "OK." Eulalie said. "Got one." Deirdre replied. Cass nodded, then whispered to Amadan as she embraced him tightly while resting her chin on his neck: "Whatever happens, don't open your eyes." Amadan was confused, "Why?" He asked, keeping his eyes shut. "I'll tell you later." 

Cassandra answered, putting on dark goggles. Deirdre and Eulalie also put on the same goggles too. "Whatever happens, don't open your eyes." Eulalie instructed. "Why not now?" Oscar asked, his eyes were shut. "You'll see afterwards." replied Eulalie. Deirdre was saying the same thing, "Whatever happens, don't open your eyes." She said. "Why can't I see?" Vanessa asked, eyes shut closed. "I'll show you...Once it's all over." Pulling out a gun, Cassandra pointed at the Wendigo and she said to her two friends, "On three....One....." Eulalie continued, "....Two...." Deirdre piped in, "Two in a half.....Two and three quarters...." It was an eerie silence until all three girls screamed, "THREE!!!!!" BOOM! They were thrown forwards while they crash safely to the ground. Once they opened their eyes; Amadan, Vanessa, and Oscar were horrified to see what was there. An explosion of fire, lightning all around--It was like the Fourth of July! "Whoa-oh! I can see why you didn't want us to look." Amadan remarked. "It's quite blinding if you keep your eyes opened." Cass said. "Damn, you're good." Amadan remarked. Cassandra smile, "Thank you. I appreciate it." She replied.
