Chapter 2: The Vixen Strikes 

A young woman is speaking as she in distress, "I'm really upset about this recent betrayal. But I'm done letting it control my life, so I'm going to start all over and forget about it. I'm not crying over them anymore, I'm finally peacing out from being hung up on someone who doesn’t treat me well. I'm a different girl now. I'm  not going to go back to them again, it hurts me to move on, but I did it anyway. I’ve grown personally through the experience. And so has my mother. My mother...She was in love with a young man. Their love story seems perfect.Then they get married and suddenly the perfect man she thought she knew turns into a monster. He shows his true face, and even though she suffers she still keeps all the pain inside. That perfect monster was my father, but we’re not with him anymore. Mother, don't look back, you've already got over that painful phase of your life. The only reason my mother endured all he put her through was to ensure a normal life for me. A mother’s heart is full of bliss just for the security of her young." After fighting Izanagi, Ryujin, Jimmu, Tajimamori, and Fuijin; Kintaro is Rank 16. Since he took down Zuijin and five others, Kintaro was arranged to fight Baku and Ikiryo--Members of the 47 Assassins. Kintaro sharpened his sword as Sayohime coiled her arms around him, "Ready to get greasy babe?" She said in a sultry purr. Kintaro smirked, "Oh yeah." He replied. "Maybe after this, you and I can....Come on this damn, cold, rain coming." suggested Sayohime. Stunt; Kintaro whistled, "I like that." He remarked. Sayohime giggled suggestively, "Good luck." She said, kissing his cheek. Later; there was a hotel rooftop, Kintaro meets with them, he was feeling the tension in his body and he felt so nervous but yet excited. "So, you're the rookie that came to kill us?" Ikiryo asked. Kintaro glared at him, "That's me." He confirmed. Baku realized who Kin was, "Wait, you're Shippeitaro's bratty cousin--or rather murderous..." He said with an evil smile on his face. Kintaro didn't even flinched, "Yeah, I admit. I killed him--but by force. I carry this burden alone however I guess you should pay as well." He said truthfully. Baku laughed at him, "You should too....MURDERER!!!!" He shouted. 

The next day after murdering Baku and Ikiryo; Kintaro is with his best friend Tsuna Watanabe and Kin's younger brother, Momotaro. The two of them were discussing about manga and anime however Kintaro wasn't paying attention as he was thinking back about Shippeitaro, "Don't you worry Shippei, your death will soon be avenge...Please forgive me." He thought. Just then, someone was calling him. "Kin, Kin, hey Kinny. Earth to Kin, hello?" Kintaro snapped out of his reverie to see Tsuna and Momotaro were looking at him. "Huh?" asked Kintaro. "What's wrong? You all right bro'? You look tense." Momotaro inquired. Kintaro looked mortified, "Sorry about that, Momo. And you too Tsuna." He apologized. Tsuna shrugged, "No worries, come on let's get some grub man." He said. "You really are pathetic, aren't you  Kazusasuke? You and your gang, you call yourselves ronin but you're despicable." Tamamo Mae mocked. Kazusasuke looked at her in shock while Tamamo Mae continued to torment him: "Not like how I killed your brother, Miurasuke, huh Kazu?" She said in a malicious voice, "Ohhh, when I'm done with you--You're gonna have lifelonging injuries for awhile dude." Kazusasuke was shocked, "You...you...lied to me?" He rasped. Tamamo Mae laughed at his expression, "Please give me your pain, oh my....oh god, if you knew how I was feeling about Miurasuke...ah!....You wished you did beg for mercy." She moaned while she caressed herself. Kazusasuke panted, "You lied, you used me you little bitch!" He hissed. Tamamo Mae placed her hands on her hips and smirked at him smugly. "What a loser, you bastard." She derided, "Aww, Little Brother lost his Big Brother didn't he? Well, how does it feel now? Did you feel anything from when you killed Kintaro's cousin? Huh? Huh? Did ya, did ya?" Angry by Tamamo Mae's betrayal; Kazusasuke shouted: "DIE, VIXEN SCUM!!!!!" He hurled at her, "I PROTECT YOU FROM GREAT WATCH AND MADE SURE YOU WERE UNTOUCHABLE AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET?!" He shouted. 

"What the hell are you guys doing here?" He snapped. Tamamo Mae noticed the bruises on Oinari, "What happened to you?" She asked in a soft, shy voice. Oinari shook his head, "It's nothing, did this jerk hurt you?" He asked. Kazusasuke couldn't believe this, "What? Me? No, this little bitch here decided to turn her--" He claimed but felt someone whipped him, "OW!!!" He exclaimed. Tamamo Mae looked shocked, or pretended to, "Are you OK? I do apologize." She said in that sugary tone in her voice. As she leaned over towards him, Tamamo Mae whispered, "Listen you turn coat, just shut up and play along." Then, Tamamo Mae pretend to look sad. "I deserve the blame, Kazusasuke was treating me like his toy! I was so verbally abused by the bastard!" She said in a sobbing tone and covered her face. Kazusasuke looked at her in disbelief, "What?!" He shouted. "How could you? She was a friend of yours!" claimed Oinari, while he said that Tamamo Mae turned her head away and giggled maniacally. "You tramp! You loose girl, I am gonna kill you!!!!" Kazusasuke screamed, charging at her. But Oinari and Konohana stopped her, "Don't even! This girl is one of the most sweetest things ever! She's like, an ingenue-harlot complex of a young lady." Konohana claimed. Tamamo Mae was stunt by Konohana as she looked so brave and strong willed, this made Tamamo Mae galvanized by her. "Thanks, I--" said Tamamo Mae, but then she realized something, "Did you just call me an ingenue-harlot complex?" 

Tamamo Mae trembled, then she begin to pull her hair as she said softly, "You bastard." She glared at him, "What do you think I am? Stupid? You don't think I know? How you forced Kintaro Sakata to kill his cousin? How you video taped and you mocked him at the restaurant? You really think I'm that naive? Am I really a little girl, Kazusasuke?" She said, raising her voice. Konohana and Oinari looked surprised by this. "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! YOU STUPID BASTARD, YOU SUCK!!!! I AM SO SICK OF EVERYONE CLAIMING I'M SOME SORT OF SWEET, SHY GIRL WHEN I'M NOT LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME!!!!! I BECOME DEPRESSED WHEN THEY SAY SWEET THINGS AND THE TRUTH REALLY HURTS KAZUSASUKE!!!!!" shouted Tamamo Mae. Kazusasuke looked at her with fear, "Tamamo Mae?" He asked. "SHUT UP, IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO BE YOUR RAT, THEN I SHOULD SNITCH ON YOU, YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED AWAY AND HAVE A LETHAL INJECTION IN YOUR BLOODSTREAM!!!! NO, YOU SHOULD BE HANGED!!!! DECAPITATED!!!! BURN THE BASTARD! DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!!" ranted Tamamo Mae. How can this be? How could this be happening? What has happened here? Want to know? Let's go back, back to the beginning. 

Earlier before....

The first person Kintaro must battle Zuijin in the graveyard of Diyu. He faces the guy, who is an arrogant and overconfident guy as he has more power than Kintaro and his sword. Struggling; Kintaro is unsure if he should surrender. But he remembered what Shippeitaro told him: "You got potential, your name 'Kintaro' means 'golden boy'. You got gold, Kin. Never give up when you're in battle." Those words gave Kin strength and he fought back harder than he did before. He defeated Zuijin, who is shocked and disappointed in himself. But Kintaro echoes the words his cousin told him thus giving Zuijin encouragement as he vows to get stronger. Later, Kintaro meets with Sayohime who tells him he is now Rank 21. "One down, 20 to go." noted Kintaro. After fighting Izanagi, Ryujin, Jimmu, Tajimamori, and Fuijin; Kintaro is Rank 16. Since he took down Zuijin and five others, Kintaro was arranged to fight Baku and Ikiryo--Members of the 47 Assassins. Kintaro glared at him, "That's me." He confirmed. Baku realized who Kin was, "Wait, you're Shippeitaro's bratty cousin--or rather murderous..." He said with an evil smile on his face. Kintaro didn't even flinched, "Yeah, I admit. I killed him--but by force. I carry this burden alone however I guess you should pay as well." He said truthfully. Baku laughed at him, "You should too....MURDERER!!!!" He shouted. Kintaro fought the two so brutally, then he defeated them and he burnt them as he watched them as they scream and flared while turning into ashes. Once that was done; Kintaro was walking in the pouring storm, it had begun to rain, and he head to Sayohime's place. He was soaked, but knocked on the door. Sayohime answered it, she was wearing a mini strapless white dress. "Kin!" She gasped. "You remember what you said, can I come in?" asked Kintaro in a trembling voice. Sayohime gently pulls him and the door closed behind them, locking it. 

The next day after murdering Baku and Ikiryo; Kintaro woke up shirtless, he turned over but felt an empty space next to him and woke up to find Sayo gone except for a note. Kintaro opened the note and it says, "Last night, you made me feel things I haven't felt in a long time. When you are feeling the darkness among you, never forget this night. Love Sayo." Kintaro smiled, "Sayo..." He said. Then he could still smell her scent and then got up to take a shower and get dress. In the city, Kintaro is with his best friend Tsuna Watanabe and Kin's younger brother, Momotaro. Tsuna shrugged, "No worries, come on let's get some grub man." He said. While inside the restaurant; someone came up to Kintaro and his table. "Hey, are you him?" Someone asked. "Who?" Kintaro asked. The guy smirked at him in a sadistic manner, "The one that killed that cousin of yours." He said. Kintaro pretends he doesn't know, "I have no idea what you mean." claimed Kintaro. The guy smirks at him, "Really? Guess everybody knows you're a war hero but you're not, nobody knows that you are a MURDEROUS KILLER TO TAKE THE LIFE OF YOUR COUSIN, BASTARD!!!!" The crowd's heads turned and looked shocked. Momotaro was getting annoyed, however Kintaro was pissed and he snapped suddenly. A fight break out, Kintaro kicked the crap out of him. Everyone is so terrified that they leave the restaurant but far from the rooftop; someone takes notice. Oinari Narukami, Kincho Oishi, Konohana Sakuya, and Hangaku Itagaki was watching this chaos happening. "Looks like trouble, wanna check it out?" Kincho asked. "Let's." conformed Hangaku, smiling. The four of them head over inside the restaurant to find this 'maniac'. Once it was all over; Kintaro was panting and panting. His tormentor had escaped but Kintaro didn't care. Momotaro came over to him, "Bro, are you OK?" He asked, touching his shoulder. Kintaro glared at his brother darkly, "Don't. Touch Me." He said in a scary tone. Momotaro was startled that he backed away, Tsuna couldn't believe it: "Is this really Kintaro? Why is he acting this way? What did that guy mean?" He thought. 

Just then, a voice called out: "Hey, what's going on in here?" Oinari Narukami, Kincho Oishi, Konohana Sakuya, and Hangaku Itagaki arrived but they were shocked to see Kintaro among the restaurant's wreckage. "What the--?" said Kincho. The four of them couldn't believe what they were seeing, it was beyond anyone's nightmare. Konohana couldn't help but ask, "Did he do this?" Momotaro step forward, "Please, he's my older brother! He just lose his cool!" He explained. Oinari looked at Kintaro, "Oh, so he did huh?" He said. Provoked; Kintaro fiercely glared at the others and shouted, "SHUT UP!!!!" Everyone was startled. Kincho knew this wasn't going to be good, "Hold on, you guys, I don't think we should provoke him." He said. Hangaku smirked, "Hmph, it'll be fun if we did." She said. Kincho glared at his comrade, "Hangaku!" He warned. "Guys--!" Konohana begged. Just then, a figure came into the destroyed restaurant. Kincho couldn't believe it, "Matsura!" He said. Sayohime stepped forward, "Kincho, it's been awhile." She said. Hangaku glared at Sayohime. "You know, if I were all of you, I would hide right now." Sayohime remarked. Kincho looked confused as well as the others, Kintaro looked interested. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I can hear marching feet of an army coming this way." Sayohime explained. This made everyone stunt in their tracks, "Is it them?" Oinari asked. Sayohime nodded, "Yes. They're coming so you guys better hide or we're going to get in big trouble." She said. And so they all hid, they waited for a few moments. Then, they came in. They were known as Tiger Braves Squad, only the most special military police force that formed the law-enforcement entity. Tiger Braves Squad has its commander, Sanada Yukimura, and its other lieutenants: Miyoshi Seikai, Anayama Kosuke, Unno Rokurō, Kakei Jūzō, Nezu Jinpachi, Miyoshi Isa, Mochizuki Rokurō, and Yuri Kamanosuke. But the highest ranking lieutenants are Sarutobi Sasuke and Kirigakure Saizō; Sarutobi is vice commander while Kirigakure is the first captain. These guys are the most ruthless people you would ever meet! 

All of a sudden, a voice is heard ranting: "The daruma doll fell over!" It was a girl who is wearing a red tunic and jeans while she was wandering and clapping about. A cute, doll-like young lady with a petite figure that mistaken her to be 15 years old. Her dark brown eyes, a porcelain-olive complexion, she doesn't need makeup and has an diamond and sapphire anklet around her left ankle. She wore sneakers and her dark blonde in a ponytail. "Who is that?" asked Sayohime. Kintaro shrugged and the rest of them could hear the girl's voice saying again, "The daruma doll fell over!" Commander Yukimura recognized that voice, "Is that--?" He started to questioned, but Sarutobi nodded, "The Noise Queen." He confirmed. Sarutobi hollered, "Noise Queen Usodori, hold it! We need you to come with us." Usodori came over to Lieutenant Sasuke, "What did I do?" She asked. Yukimura didn't want to upset the girl and gently said, "We need to ask you about Kasuga, where is she?" Usodori think for a moment, "Kasuga, Kasuga. I don't know, she left me." She said with a shrug. "Do you know where she went?" Yukimura asked. Usodori shook her head, "Nope." She answered. "When was the last time you saw her?" Yukimura asked. "Three weeks on Friday. We were on a hotel rooftop and we return after dinner. She and I talked, I went to sleep. When I woke up, she was gone." replied Usodori. Sarutobi looked at her, "No note?" He asked. Usodori shook her head, "No note." She replied. Yukimura nodded, "I see." He said. Usodori glared at him, "Why are you after her?" She asked. Yukimura glanced at his squad and turned back to the strange girl, "Well, she's under suspicion of--" He started to say but Usodori glared at him that scared everybody. Kintaro is surprised, "Who is this girl?" He wondered. 

"She didn't do anything wrong to anybody!" insisted Usodori. "Yes, we know." Yukimura assured her. Usodori looked at him with a skeptical expression, "Do you? Are you going to arrest her? She's trying to do justice to those that wrong her and me." She said. Yukimura was intrigued, "You seem to take things to heart." He remarked. Usodori shrugged, "I do...I mean, Visualize yourself strolling in a erection where the humming sound of beaming brilliance is almost thunderous. Visualize somebody speaking to you in a crowded, strident place but you can't concentrate on what their saying because all of the voices are fuse at one fell swoop. Visualize that all of your friends have well-rounded to ride a bicycle but for you it's so hard." Usodori stopped for a moment, she had tears in her eyes. "Visualize that you get in malady all the time at school, because my educators don't comprehend...They don't know the variance between transgression and a downfall. Visualize your the own person in your grade who doesn't have any friends." She begins to cry and Yukimura put a hand on her shoulder. The others were impacted by what this strange, sad girl was saying. They felt emotive by what she was saying and they all are curious about her. Konohana felt pity in her heart, "Oh, poor thing." She whispered. Momotaro was surprised, "That's deep." He remarked. Commander Yukimura was surprised to hear this, "I guess, I never thought you went through that." He said. "If only I was better...All my teens years was wasted because I didn’t make anything out of it." Usodori said, wiping her tears away. The commander placed a hand on her shoulder, "It's OK, you just gotta focus on what you do now." He said. "Yeah, sorry I sounded depressed. I do apologize." Usodori said, sniffing a little and smiled. Once Tiger Braves left; Asano Takumi appeared, "Is everyone all right?" He asked. Kincho appeared as well as the others, "Yes Captain." He answered. Usodori gasped, she was confused by this. 

"Good, you must be Kintaro, I'm glad we get to meet because I believe I like you to be leader to this gang that Tsuanade has created." announced Captain Takumi. "Me? I don't think I could--" Kintaro started to say. Suddenly, Usodori's eyes sparkled and she knew what was going on. "Oh, I see. You guys are part of a team, right? That's so cool." Usodori squealed. Kintaro, Sayohime, Momotaro, Tsuna, Oinari, Kincho, Hangaku, and Konohana looked at one another. "No, it's not--" Sayohime tried to explain, but Usodori was bouncing up and down. "You're so hot, I mean take it as a compliment. You look like a model, a bikini beach babe." She gushed. Sayohime blushed, "What--?" She asked. Nobody, excpet Kintaro, said something about herself. "You got the best body and the best hair, I never seen anyone so ethereal such as you." Usodori continued, "Life is so beautiful." Kintaro glanced at the mysterious man and the elusive girl, wondering what the heck was going on. Even though the gang wasn't too thrilled with working with one another; at least they had to be on Asano's good graces as well as Usodori. Meanwhile at a banquet; there was lot of food, people were talking and laughing. There was the shy, reserved and fragile Tamamo Mae Sesshoseki. Sitting with her is Kazusasuke on the left, an arm around her. There was also Shuten and Ibaraki at the banquet. Tamamo Mae has ivory skin and black hair that was kept in two braided ponytails over her shoulders, red lips full and luscious. She has rosy cheeks, a slender but fit physique, and she wore a pure white dress that showed her ample bosom. But there was a hint of modesty. "How are you?" Kazusasuke whispered. Tamamo Mae shrugged, "I'm all right, it's seems tranquil and calm for a banquet." She said. Kazusasuke chuckles, "Great Watch makes good things happening to you." He remarked. Tamamo Mae looked uncomfortable, "Please, don't mention those people, OK?" She said. The double doors opened as Tamamo Mae looked scared, the crowd was struck with awe. "Oh my Lord!" A woman gasped. The crowd couldn't believe it, it was them. Kazusasuke stood up, "What is this?" He demanded. Captain Takumi step forward, "Tamamo Mae, we came to pay our respect to you." He said. 

Tamamo Mae looked confused, "To me?" She asked. Oinari comes forward, "What he means is, we came to visit you." She said. Tamamo Mae felt her heart lub-dubbing in her chest, "Captain Asano, who is this young man?" She asked. Takumi introdcued him to her, "This is Oinari, one of my best lieutenants, and this is his friend, Konohana." He said. Kazusasuke looked disinterested, "A besotted damsel, I see." He remarked in a bored voice. Tamamo Mae looked away, frightened, but heard Konohana's voice: "Hi!" Tamamo Mae looked nervous, "...Uh, um." She stuttered. Kazusasuke glanced at her, "Tamamo Mae?" He asked. Tamamo Mae could feel her heart, lub dub it went. Lub dub, lub dub. Thumpity thump, thumpity thump. Kazusasuke leaned over, "Look at them, it's all right." He whispered. Tamamo Mae turned her head, "Hello." She said and then looked away. "You OK?" Oinari asked. Tamamo Mae glanced back smiling, "Oh yes, just shy." She said. Kazusasuke slapped her back, Tamamo Mae winced while her friend ran his mouth, "Please forgive her timidness, she's a fidget little maiden." He said, laughing his butt off. In the meantime; Usodori was wandering about again, saying: "The daruma doll fell ov-er! The daruma doll fell ov-er! The daruma doll fell ov-er! The daruma doll fell OVER!" Kintaro approached her, "What are you doing here?" He asked. Usodori jumped and turned around, "Oh, it's you!" She beamed. Kintaro managed to smile back, "Yeah. What are you doing out here?" He asked. Usodori explains she's wandering about, Kintaro realized she has no place to go so he decides to take her to Sayohime's place. Sayo wasn't home but Usodori is amazed by how beautiful her apartment is. But then, she noticed something different. "The bed...." Usodori said. Kintaro glanced at her, "What?" He asked. Usodori pointed over to the bed, "What's with the bed?" She asked. Kintaro blushed, "Oh, Sayo and I...came together..." He admitted. Usodori is amazed and lies on the bed, "Wow, what's it like?" She asked. Kintaro looked confused, "To fornicate?" He inquired. Usodori laughed, "No, no, to be in love with someone who's special to you." She said. Kintaro is surprised by this, he thought for a moment and said finally, "It's a long lasting, remarkable feeling. Being in the prescence by someone you love, it makes you happier." He said. Usodori nodded but laid her head back. "Will I fall in love? It hurts when I see couples together. I wish I was that way...I want to be dazed, I want to be enchant." said Usodori. "Do you?" inquired Kintaro. Usodori nodded, "Yes." She said. Kintaro smiled at her. "I like you, Usodori. You really are an extraordinary." He said, "Are you always this happy? You must've been having a hard time right?" 

Usodori was silent for a moment as she begins to remember something from her dark past: It was a living hell for the poor children. Later; Usodori is standing among the school.  The children of the academy are almost violent but misunderstood and nonverbal people.  They may be whatever age they are but still act quit childish. They have sensory stimulation, social triggers, communication problems, and unusual interests. They have disheveled hair. They are running around babbling lyrically about the strange visions flashing through her deranged mind, singing creepy little rhymes, scattering flowers and occasionally bashing people's heads in. There is bustling with noises of crying and scolding. Mornings go like this: There is prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, sing along, they have to do work, and one of the students have learning therapy. Then they go out for P.E., the children finally come back to go to the bathroom, and have lunch. In the afternoons; the children have different classes like TaeKwon-Do, they have music but some are hypersensitivity to the noises, and they go outside to play. They have snack and then they go home. The kids in the middle school have a different lesson in class: They have prayer and the Pledge, they have work to do. Next they go down for P.E. and then snack, then they go back to do their work, and finally they have lunch. They have music or some of them are having physical or learning therapy that's not working. And lastly they go home. There are some stressful days of kids having major outbursts that would go on for minutes, maybe hours. Some who are disobedient, and some that make accidents. She realized that a couple of teachers are mistreating kids, keeping them from having fun because they can't 'behave right'. Usodori  is troubled by this, they think these kids should be positively reinforcement and not be handled roughly. Usodori been through that, these kids shouldn't be treated this way and something must be done. However there was danger, Tamamo Mae was in danger but Kintaro is unsure about this. So Konohana and Oinari head over. Kazusasuke realized her friend's in trouble and he heads over there. When he frees Tamamo Mae; he gets cut from her knife and saw her vulnerability was only a ruse.

She moaned while she caressed herself. Kazusasuke panted, "You lied, you used me you little bitch!" He hissed. Tamamo Mae placed her hands on her hips and smirked at him smugly. "What a loser, you bastard." She derided, "Aww, Little Brother lost his Big Brother didn't he? Well, how does it feel now? Did you feel anything from when you killed Kintaro's cousin? Huh? Huh? Did ya, did ya?" Angry by Tamamo Mae's betrayal; Kazusasuke shouted: "DIE, VIXEN SCUM!!!!!" He hurled at her, "I PROTECT YOU FROM GREAT WATCH AND MADE SURE YOU WERE UNTOUCHABLE AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET?!" He shouted. The two were interrupted by a pounding on the door, "What's going on in there?" A male's voice called out muffling from the closed doors. Tamamo Mae gasped, "Ohhh---! It's them!" She rasped with excitement. Kazusasuke is shocked to hear it too, "No, it cannot be!" He moaned. Tamamo Mae giggled but she managed to call out in her timid voice persona, "Who is it?" "It's me, Oinari. And I brought Konohana. We came to help you." The male voice said. Immediately; Tamamo Mae pressed the button as Oinari and Konohana entered in. "You came to rescue me from this traitor?" Tamamo Mae said in a timid voice, hands on the sides of her face as she was trying to look touched from this. She had to turn away, pretending she was crying but really she was laughing in a happy but sadistic way, "Awww, how sweet! What a heroic match of valentines you are!" She gushed. 

"What the hell are you guys doing here?" He snapped. Tamamo Mae noticed the bruises on Oinari, "What happened to you?" She asked in a soft, shy voice. Oinari shook his head, "It's nothing, did this jerk hurt you?" He asked. Kazusasuke couldn't believe this, "What? Me? No, this little bitch here decided to turn her--" He claimed but felt someone whipped him, "OW!!!" He exclaimed. Tamamo Mae looked shocked, or pretended to, "Are you OK? I do apologize." She said in that sugary tone in her voice. As she leaned over towards him, Tamamo Mae whispered, "Listen you turn coat, just shut up and play along." Then, Tamamo Mae pretend to look sad. "I deserve the blame, Kazusasuke was treating me like his toy! I was so verbally abused by the bastard!" She said in a sobbing tone and covered her face. Kazusasuke looked at her in disbelief, "What?!" He shouted. "How could you? She was a friend of yours!" claimed Oinari, while he said that Tamamo Mae turned her head away and giggled maniacally. "You tramp! You loose girl, I am gonna kill you!!!!" Kazusasuke screamed, charging at her. But Oinari and Konohana stopped her, "Don't even! This girl is one of the most sweetest things ever! She's like, an ingenue-harlot complex of a young lady." Konohana claimed. Tamamo Mae was stunt by Konohana as she looked so brave and strong willed, this made Tamamo Mae galvanized by her. "Thanks, I--" said Tamamo Mae, but then she realized something, "Did you just call me an ingenue-harlot complex?" Konohana laughed, "Sorry. You just look modest but you look sexy at the same time." She said. "Don't be so kind, you could be manipulating her. I mean, Kintaro took his cousin's life. It was what we told him." Kazusasuke said smugly. Konohana and Oinari couldn't believe what they were hearing, Tamamo Mae looked at him. "Wait, you were there when he--" She asked. Kazusasuke laughed, "Tamamo Mae-pumpkin, he's a killer. He shall be punish for the crime while we get away with it." He said. 

Tamamo Mae trembled, then she begin to pull her hair as she said softly, "You bastard." She glared at him, "What do you think I am? Stupid? You don't think I know? How you forced Kintaro Sakata to kill his cousin? How you video taped and you mocked him at the restaurant? You really think I'm that naive? Am I really a little girl, Kazusasuke?" She said, raising her voice. Konohana and Oinari looked surprised by this. "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! YOU STUPID BASTARD, YOU SUCK!!!! I AM SO SICK OF EVERYONE CLAIMING I'M SOME SORT OF SWEET, SHY GIRL WHEN I'M NOT LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME!!!!! I BECOME DEPRESSED WHEN THEY SAY SWEET THINGS AND THE TRUTH REALLY HURTS KAZUSASUKE!!!!!" shouted Tamamo Mae. Kazusasuke looked at her with fear, "Tamamo Mae?" He asked. "SHUT UP, IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO BE YOUR RAT, THEN I SHOULD SNITCH ON YOU, YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED AWAY AND HAVE A LETHAL INJECTION IN YOUR BLOODSTREAM!!!! NO, YOU SHOULD BE HANGED!!!! DECAPITATED!!!! BURN THE BASTARD! DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!!" ranted Tamamo Mae. Kazusasuke shook his head, laughing: "You know what? Yeah, but here's something I should've said to you...Your mama so ugly and fat that she couldn't been love by her own mother and father while putting up with not losing any weight." He said. Then he laughed as Oinari and Konohana looked at him in disbelief. Tamamo Mae was really pissed, she hated when anyone says bad things about her mother: "I am going to cut your puny body into pieces, and pissed ALL OVER YOU KAZUSASUKE!!!" She shouted. "LIKE HELL, JUST LIKE YOU KILLED MY--!!!" Kazusasuke shouted but was cut off by Tamamo Mae who yells out, "DIE, SCUM!!!!" and kills him. She panted and panted, "That jerk ass...How dare he--I trust him." Tamamo Mae said in a malicious voice. She had tears in her eyes, "They're all the same...All of them, they start off nice but as the time past of days, they show their true colors." She noted, "Just like that bitch...her sister, her husband, her rotten cesspool she called 'sanctuary'....It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but she make it a den of robbers.” 

Oinari and Konohana glanced at her, "Tamamo Mae?" Konohana asked. Tamamo Mae turned to the others and bowed, "Excuse me, I must be off." She said. And she left them. Later on in a shower; Tamamo Mae begins to blabber to herself: "I'm really upset about this recent betrayal. But I'm done letting it control my life, so I'm going to start all over and forget about it. I'm not crying over them anymore, I'm finally piecing out from being hung up on someone who doesn’t treat me well. I'm a different girl now. I'm  not going to go back to them again, it hurts me to move on, but I did it anyway. I've changed and I won't let anyone hurt me anymore. Never go back to being played, the crappy friendship seriously changed my point of view for the worse, but I’ve grown personally through the experience. And so has my mother. My mother...She was in love with a young man. Their love story seems perfect.Then they get married and suddenly the perfect man she thought she knew turns into a monster. He shows his true face, and even though she suffers she still keeps all the pain inside. That perfect monster was my father, but we’re not with him anymore. Mother, don't look back, you've already got over that painful phase of your life. My mother was able to take the abuse until my father started to beat me. She could deal with him harming her, but laying a hand on me was the final straw which caused her to leave him for good. Mother was aware of the fact that being maltreated for so long is inhuman yet she still hesitated. Her situation lasts for a long time. She was used to his bad habits. It seems he kept promising her he would change after his crises. This is indicated by the word lies. But she knew that there were just words. The only reason my mother endured all he put her through was to ensure a normal life for me. A mother’s heart is full of bliss just for the security of her young." She cleaned herself but then she stopped the shower after washed her hair. "My dear mother, Oiwa Hoji....Okiku Samon will never hurt you again. She dares try anything, maybe Osode Iemon or even Tamiya...I won't let them hurt you ever again." She muttered to herself. 

As she lied in bed after waking up in the morning; all she could think about was them both. Oinari and Konohana. Sometimes one of them, sometimes both. This was definitely messing with her head. "AUGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Tamamo Mae, she hugged her body pillow, "CURSE YOU OINARI AND KONOHANA!!!!! Because of them, they're stuck in my head! Why? Why? Why are they in my brain, haunted me at the very second?! OINARI AND KONOHANA!!!!!!!" She ranted like a madwoman. Then she looked left and right as if someone might be listening. Then she took her blankets and went under the covers since she was cold, "Sons of a guns, they think thy can kick my ass so easily. HA! Who does that mahogany locks wrench think she is? Does she and her Oinari have any idea who they're dealing with? How dare she say I'm an ingenue-harlot complex of a vixen? OINARI AND KONOHANA!!!!!" She blabbered. But peeked out from under the covers with a mischievous smile, "First! I gotta ger ready, for THEM!!!! To the Secret Room!" She went to a book shelf and pulled out a book. Then the book shelf open to reveal a secret room, which she went in and the book shelf closed by itself from behind. Tamamo Mae walked down the steps and towards her secret bedroom, "Even if I'm a depraved  AC-DC ingenue-complex fruitcake; I can't be the best FRUITCAKE I CAN BE!!!! They want to play? I'll play all right, I can play HARD!!!! Wait, Oinari's mine right? Then I'll save Li'l Miss Blossom Princess for later! Then, I will--" She muttered to herself but stopped when she heard a noise that made her jump. "WHO'S THERE?!" She cried. Then she side step frantically and she begin to skip forward, "Heh, heh." She giggled and move around side to side like a drunk lunatic. Looking all crazy as she begin to chant in a sing song tone, "OINARI AND KONOHANA will never SUSPECT ME! For I will be UNTRACEABLE!!! They'll never find me and it's gonna be AWESOME!!!!" Realizing that Tamamo Mae has feelings for Konohana and has an infatuation for Oinari; Usodori is inspired to write a story of a love triangle: The story was about a cunning, street-smart, gorgeous, and prim young lady name Hebe. Hebe was lovestruck by the sight of the young man name Atimir, much to Hebe's dismay, Atimir was in love with Ilaria. 

In her mind; Usodori begin to have a vision in her head: Pad. Pad. Splish. Splish. The sound of feet in the water but this red flood was not water and the person responsible found a window broke open.There were clicking sounds and the girl turned around to see a line of soldiers with guns in hand. One of them called out, "Freeze! Don't make any sudden movement, you are surround so surrender now." The girl looked at the soldiers before she smiled and then outstretch her arms before falling into the ocean that was below and fell into the abyss. That same girl was doing an interpretive dance sequence while she wore a white ballet dress as the other ballerinas wore black tutus as the girl perform a  solo. And Usodori wrote these ideas in her notebook. That night, Tamamo Mae had a dream of blood, bodies, and herself among them with a sadistic smile on her face. Waking up; Tamamo Mae  screamed in terror, "NOOOO, NOT ME!" It was all a nightmare buts he couldn’t stop screaming. Hearing her screaming, Usodori taking both her shoulders, "Tamamo Mae?!" She asked. Tamamo Mae was still exclaiming, "NOT ME! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! PLEASE, HAVE MERCY!" "Tamamo Mae!" Usodori said, shaking her. "MERCY!" Tamamo Mae cried, "PLEASE!" "It's OK, TM. I’m here.” Usodori soothed. Tamamo Mae begin to sob, the only thing that her friend could do was comfort her. “It’s OK, Usodori. It’s OK. I'm here. It’s OK." 

Great Watch Cipher--Chapter 1

Hello everybody, I'm Katherine Donovan and I have it here. This is a spin-off of my story Uranometia. Presenting, Great Watch Cipher. It was going to be called Great Watch Assassin which sounds cooler but I knew I wasn't going to just write about an assassin, it wouldn't make any sense. The names are Japanese and it's totally different setting than Uranometria, I hope you guys like it! Thanks and enjoy this lovely gem I made. --KatDon 

Chapter 1: The Weight of Guilt for an Assassin's Mace

"Wishing in the dark is like shooting a gun in the dark when they are angry or sad, therefore usually regretting afterwards." Two soldiers had survived from the crash as they are kidnapped by unknown members. One of them was forced to do a task, one of the members threw the other soldier on the ground. Then, the leader--who had a mask on--forced the first to kill the other. The soldier was hesitant however all the rambling of incoherrent shouting tensed the soldier however he could hear his comrade say to him, "...It's OK. I forgive you." In his panic; The soldier let out a scream and killed him. "You never know when you’re going to hit exactly what you’re aiming for. The wishes in the dark are dreams of being teared apart." Screams of terror, past memories return, horrible things happening that come back to haunt. "The key to success is obsessing over the fractions that make up the whole. If you’re not doing that, you can never, ever get on this level. Now that we look back at what we were and what they were, its only right to bring back their impact. And what we've have done in the past...I  want to forget the past and move forward with my life." Blood shed, revenge, it's all it's about. "For the most part, a lot of legends start from humble beginnings. People tend to forget that. Many people are beautiful folks that bloom in the spring, but quickly fade over time....Not me, I am not fading away. I am going to hit high." There was a warrior wielding a sword and he prepares to win back his pride. His dignity, he may carry a burden but someone else needs to feel what he feels. 

In the city of Ashihara Nakatsukuni, it was quiet--Too quiet. There seemed to be disaster in the metropolios. It wasn't the cause of tsunami, that's for sure and it wasn't a storm either. Feet running against the street, two feet with sneakers, and he ran inside of his house. Packing his bad in a rush. Panting, gasping, and mutters incoherently to himself. "Where did we go wrong? We were trying to make fireworks! We weren't trying to hurt anybody." "Where did we go wrong? We were trying to make fireworks! We weren't trying to hurt anybody." The guy said to himself. His name is Nezumi Kozo and he went to get his friends as well as get out of town. Meanwhile in Amano Iwato, far from the city of Ashihara Nakatsukuni; 14 year old Momotaro Sakata was released from the police jail for reckless endangerment after his older brother, militant 19 year old Kintaro Sakata paid for his bail. Kintaro was going to war tomorrow, so Momotaro and his parents, Sarutahiko and Uzume, are having a dinner with him before he goes. Later; Kintaro's 18 year old girlfriend, Sayohime Matsura, came to see him in his room as she wished he didn't go to war but Kintaro has to. He couldn't abandoned the task he was given, Sayohime expressed her sadness of missing him. Then, Kintaro cupped her face and pulled her close. Their eyes locked onto one another's, "You remember what I promised you? I swear to protect you, Sayo. That's my assignment." He said. Sayohime nodded, "OK." She said. Kintaro and Sayohime embraced each other, it was warm and strong. "I'll come back soon." Kintaro whispered. "You better, don't die on me my love. If you do, I'll kick your ass." Sayohime muttered in his ear, the two of them laugh. The next day; Kintaro left as Sayohime watched him go. She sighed, wondering if he'll be OK. 

Nezumi glares over at Yamato, "This all your fault, man!" He said. Yamato looked at him in disbelief, "My fault?" He said, "Oh sure, blame me that I wasn't aware the fireworks had dynamite in it." Nezumi looked nervous, "Yeah, well....I didn't see you stop me Yama. You knew this'll turn into a disaster." He remarked. "Where did we go wrong? What are we gonna do guys?" Hidari moaned. "Panicking isn't going to help, we just gotta get out of town and find a good hiding spot." Zennyo spoke up. And they did. The four friends would always hang out at the Shinto Shrine. Once saying their prayers; they discussed over what happened. But they were approached by a woman name Tsuanade Kodoku, the head of Great Watch. One day; Kintaro's trauma was induced by powers of superhuman agility and enhanced fighting ability. He finds a sword and a message from the sun goddess, Kintaro learns that he required the sword known as Kusanagi. With ths power; he could do anything and slay the monsters known as Wendigos. These Wendigos are hollowed eyed, eerily pale, and have blood stained sharp teeth. Momotaro learned about Kintaro fighting the Wendigos while he kept it a secret from their parents. But even more shocking, there was a woman Kintaro and Momotaro discovered murdering a Mafia boss. That woman was Sayohime Matsura, who is an assassin. Although shocked over what happened; Kintaro continues to love Sayohime as she was. Along the way; Kintaro comes across a boy his age who is half human-half Wendigo hybrid. His name was Tsuna Watanabe and he became a fast best friend of Kintaro, who was kind to him. In the light of the moon; Sayohime was in a white kimono, she had her kitana its sheath tied near her hip and wore tabi socks and wooden geta shoes on her feet. Her hair in a high bun, a stoic look upon her beautiful face, and was standing on the roof of the highest building. 

"A new moon, fresh for the striking kill." said Sayohime. Then, Sayohime jumps from the roof and glided into the night. Today, her assignment is to murder Silver Branch agent: Cassandra Endymion! Unknown to her; Sayohime will discover the secret truth of Cassandra!  At Silver Branch, an agent comes in. "Miss Endymion, someone wants to see you." The agent said. Curious; Cassandra left the room and came to see someone in a plaid buttoned down shirt with color dyed jeans and a wristband around her left wrist. "Um, can I help you?" asked Cassandra. Sayohime looked at her, "Are you Cassandra Endymion?" She asked. Cassandra nodded, "Yes." She said. Sayohime beckoned her, "Come with me, let's talk somewhere more private." replied Sayohime. Cassandra shrugged, "OK." She said. Cassandra followed her, however Pintosmalto watched them go as he sensed something was wrong with Sayohime. As they were walking; Sayohime pulled out her gun and pulled the trigger on Cassandra. Sayohime smirks at her smugly however her smile faded as she noticed Cassandra wasn't falling and to her shock; the bullet that hit her suddenly popped out. Sayohime couldn't believe it, "What--? THAT SHOULD'VE KILLED YOU!!!" She exclaimed. Cassandra gave the girl a small smile, "Sorry, bullets don't do anything." She said bluntly. Sayohime grunted, she was about to pull her sword out but Cass spoke out again: "You can try to slice me but that won't do anything as well. It's the same result as the bullets." Sayohime noticed that Cassandra's wound had already healed, this shocked her completely. "What is that?" asked Sayohime. Cassandra shuffled her feet and rolled her head back before smiling, "Simple, I'm bulletproof. Titanium. Stone hard. Impassable. Imprevious." She answered. Sayohime was interested, "I see." She said. Cassandra looked at her, "Who are you?" She asked. "You wanna know? I'll tell you, my name is Sayohime Matsura and I'm an Oban Assassin." replied Sayohime. Once then, Sayohime learned something about this Cassandra Endymion. 

While in training; Kintaro was doing crunches, pushups, punching the bag, sit ups, chin ups, and judo moves that he was taught in the military. Wearing a black tank top and sweat pants; his muscles look so leaned, he looked so fit. Once he was done; he panted and panted. "So, Kin-chan....How's life been treating you?" Sayohime's voice called out. Kintaro turned around to see her there, "How long have you've been there?" He asked, in between gasps. Sayohime shrugged, "A while. Care to join me?" She replied. One minute later; they were at a bar where Sayohime offered him a deal. "You want me to fight a bunch of other fighters to get to the top?" asked Kintaro, "Sounds murderous." Sayohime shook her head, "It's not, I'll throw in a wager of yen. Hundred grand." She promised. That didn't convince him, "OK, what's in for me?" asked Kintaro, sipping his drink. Sayohime glanced at him, "I found the assholes who forced you to kill your cousin." She answered, "What do you think I was doing? Killing people? No, I wanted to help you out." She explained. Kintaro glanced at her, then bowed his head but raised it up slightly in order for Sayohime see his wicked, unhinged leer. "I'll do it." Kintaro said. Sayohime smiled in satisfactory, "Knew you would." She said. And they toast each other, Kintaro was going to get his revenge. Oinari was on a mission to watch for someone who is going to murder a seemingly happy couple of the Asamas of Gandhara suburbia. But he noticed this girl who intrigued him, Konohana Sakuya was her name. She looked pretty, like a blossom. As they are about to leave; Oinari and Kincho stopped where they could see orange petals in the air and a light from the sun rays. Kincho stopped and sniffed the air, "Sayuri, or should I say 'orange lily'. An orange lily means 'hatred, revenge'." He said, "I supposed that suits you doesn't it--Hangaku Itagaki!!!" He came face to face with a tall young lady who was older than she looked. People believed she was 15 but she was 20 years of age. Despite of her age, she was young. She used one of her knives and almost hit Kincho, but he dodged it. "Shit! Gotten better haven't you Lady Hangaku?" Kincho called out. Hangaku coiled around Kincho like she was a snake, "I learned from the best, you've improved in ninjutsu, Kin-san." She said. Kincho turned his head, "That's Kin-chan to you, you may be a ronin and a kunochi but you better keep your promise of protecting the Moon Princess." He said. Hangaku thought for a moment, "Oh? Moon Princess Kaguya Okina, I swear didn't I?" She said. Kincho knew something was up, "So, why are you here?" He asked. Hangaku looked over to see Oinari and went behind him but she let her fingers traced on the upper part of his back while she said, "I came to see my Tobi boy, he's bloomed so much." Kincho spoke out, "Down girl." He said. Hangaku glared at him, "Oh don't 'down girl' me." She said. 

Konohana Sakuya is an 18 year old young lady with medium-length mahogany red hair and gold hazel eyes. She was slender, beautiful, and has freckles slightly on the bridge of her nose. Konohana was a naive, bubbly young lady but she begins to discover her powers of controlling flowers, reading people's mind--even communication telepathically, psychokinesis, and empathy. The breeze felt nice as Konohana closed her eyes to feel it brushed against her. "Having fun?" Oinari asked. Konohana turned around and glared at him who had a video camera in hand, "Stop video-taping me." She snapped. "Look,  I want to make you my project." Oinari said. Cassandra looked at him, "Me? Oinari, you're weird but you really don't have to do that." She said. Oinari looked brooding, "Yeah, I know. But I find you interested. I told you, I'm curious." He reminded. Konohana smirked, "Let me borrow that for a second." She said, snatching the video camera from him and video tapes him, "Ah, now it's my turn to project you." She said. Oinari smirked back, "Me?" He said. Then, he leaned over and tried to kiss her. Konohana couldn't believe this scandalous maneuver, "Oh--!" She gasped and dodged him. "Don't even!" Konohana prompted. Even if she finds him weird, she has a feeling that this boy is going to change her life for the better. However, Konohana was asleep one night until she felt someone beside her and saw Oinari! There, Konohana became closer to this mysterious boy but she is stunt to discover Oinari is a ninja as he asked her to come with him. Konohana is lost for words as she accepts. Just then, they both heard a gunshot--twice. Scared; Konohana and Oinari crept downstairs to find out what that sound was until they discover the corpses of Oyamatsumi and Ohirume. Konohana is shocked but she's relieved as she decides to go with Oinari, where he introduces her to Kincho and Takumi. Takumi welcomes her however Kincho is too hostile towards her but Oinari assures her that he is not good with people. 

How can this be? Who are these people? What's going on? How did they get here in the first place? Let's go back to the beginning, shall we? 

Earlier before.....

Momotaro has light brown hair with sight sided hairstyle and Kintaro has black hair with his sides and back trimmed shorter and of a dark blue hue. Kintaro was going to war tomorrow, so Momotaro and his parents, Sarutahiko and Uzume, are having a dinner with him before he goes. Later; Kintaro's 18 year old girlfriend, Sayohime Matsura, came to see him in his room. Sayohime has long length dark brown hair, medium purple eyes, and a slender build. She wished he didn't go to war but Kintaro has to. He couldn't abandoned the task he was given, Sayohime expressed her sadness of missing him. Then, Kintaro cupped her face and pulled her close. Their eyes locked onto one another's, "You remember what I promised you? I swear to protect you, Sayo. That's my assignment." He said. Sayohime nodded, "OK." She said. Kintaro and Sayohime embraced each other, it was warm and strong. "I'll come back soon." Kintaro whispered. "You better, don't die on me my love. If you do, I'll kick your ass." In the meantime; Kintaro and his cousin, as well as big brother type friend, Shippeitaro Sakata, were ambushed by the enemy as their helicopter was shot in the sky. Back with Sayohime and the Sakata family, they had been told that Shippeitaro and Kintaro are dead. This broke Sayohime's heart as well as the rest of the family members; Sayohime became close to Momotaro where she flirted with him and attempted to kiss him but recoiled in horror. So, the two decided to stick to being just friends. Meanwhile; Kintaro and his cousin had survived from the crash as they are kidnapped by unknown members. Kintaro was forced to do a task, one of the members threw Shippeitaro on the ground. 

Then, the leader--who had a mask on--forced Kintaro to kill Shippeitaro. Kintaro was hesitant however all the rambling of incoherrent shouting tensed the soldier however Kin could hear his cousin say to him, "Kin, it's OK. I forgive you." In his panic; Kintaro let out a scream and killed him. Horrified; Kintaro managed to escape and got away from the enemy as he found a medical center where he begged to speak to his girlfriend and his family. Hearing about Kintaro being alive; Sarutahiko, Uzume, Momotaro, and Sayohime were overjoyed by this as Kintaro returns to them. But while happy to have Kin home; they noticed something was different about him. Kintaro had mental breakdowns, nights where he woke up screaming in utter terror, and try to attempt to take his own life which resulted him being hospitalized. Just then, Kintaro makes an emotional confession about how he was forced by the enemy captives to kill his cousin and Kin got therapy. One day; Kintaro's trauma was induced by powers of superhuman agility and enhanced fighting ability. He finds a sword and a message from the sun goddess, Kintaro learns that he required the sword known as Kusanagi. With ths power; he could do anything and slay the monsters known as Wendigos. These Wendigos are hollowed eyed, eereily pale, and have blood stained sharp teeth. Momotaro learned about Kintaro fighting the Wendigos while he kept it a secret from their parents. But even more shocking, there was a woman Kintaro and Momotaro discovered murdering a Mafia boss. That woman was Sayohime Matsura, who is an assassin. Although shocked over what happened; Kintaro continues to love Sayohime as she was. Along the way; Kintaro comes across a boy his age who is half human-half Wendigo hybrid. His name was Tsuna Watanabe as Kintaro helps him out and the two became fast but closed best friends all because of Kin's kindness. There, the three boys were lead by Sayohime who introduced them to her leader and boss, Tsunade Kodoku. Tsuanade was in the middle of teaching students but she was surprised to see Kintaro with the sword, Kusanagi. 

Meanwhile in the city of Ashihara Nakatsukuni, it was quiet--Too quiet. There seemed to be disaster in the metropolios. It wasn't the cause of tsunami, that's for sure and it wasn't a storm either. Buildings were almost a wreck, smoke everywhere, people screaming, some were crying, it was horrendous. What kind of person would do such a thing? Feet running against the street, two feet with sneakers, and he ran inside of his house. Packing his bad in a rush. Panting, gasping, and mutters incoherently to himself. "Where did we go wrong? We were trying to make fireworks! We weren't trying to hurt anybody." The guy said to himself. His name is Nezumi Kozo, he was a geek...OK, not really. He wasn't dorky either but he had an air of geek. However he was pretty antisocial. Once he got his things together in a bag; he rushed out the door and into his car. He drove away where he got his friends: Zennyo Ryuo, Yamato Takeru, and Hidari Jingoro. As they were driving; Zennyo kept muttering to himself over and over again, "No. How can this be happening? It can't be, it was supposed to be a safe, fun time!" Nezumi glares over at Yamato, "This all your fault, man!" He said. Yamato looked at him in disbelief, "My fault?" He said, "Oh sure, blame me that I wasn't aware the fireworks had dynamite in it." Nezumi looked nervous, "Yeah, well....I didn't see you stop me Yama. You knew this'll turn into a disaster." He remarked. "Where did we go wrong? What are we gonna do guys?" Hidari moaned. "Panicking isn't going to help, we just gotta get out of town and find a good hiding spot." Zennyo spoke up. And they did. The four friends would always hang out at the Shinto Shrine. Once saying their prayers; they discussed over what happened. They knew they couldn't go back where Nezumi, Zennyo, Yamato, and Hidari could not go back home since their family life was dysfunctional, abusive, and neglective. They had to find out what went wrong. However they heard a woman's voice: "Sounds like you guys need some help." 

The four friends turned around to see a tall woman with her lavender hair is very long, going down to the base of her spine, and done up in a huge ponytail. Two strands of hair that stick up from the top of the head and curve forward like antennae. She wore ivory white kimono with a black belt tied around her waist. "Who are you?" asked Zennyo. "My name is Tsunade Kodoku, and I am here to change your life. To clear your names." Tsunade said. Nezumi and his friends told the mysterious woman about how they were working on the fireworks with their friends, Hodari and Hoori Mikoto. But Tsunade was getting suspicious as she decided to recruit the four, which they accepted gratefully. In the light of the moon; Sayohime was in a white kimono, she had her kitana its sheath tied near her hip and wore tabi socks and wooden geta shoes on her feet. Her hair in a high bun, a stoic look upon her beautiful face, and was standing on the roof of the highest buildng. "A new moon, fresh for the striking kill." said Sayohime. Then, Sayohime jumps from the roof and glided into the night. Today, her assignment is to murder Silver Branch agent: Cassandra Endymion! Unknown to her; Sayohime will discover the secret truth of Cassandra!  At Silver Branch, an agent comes in. "Miss Endymion, someone wants to see you." The agent said. Curious; Cassandra left the room and came to see someone in a plaid buttoned down shirt with color dyed jeans and a wristband around her left wrist. "Um, can I help you?" asked Cassandra. Sayohime looked at her, "Are you Cassandra Endymion?" She asked. Cassandra nodded, "Yes." She said. Sayohime beckoned her, "Come with me, let's talk somewhere more private." replied Sayohime. Cassandra shrugged, "OK." She said. Cassandra followed her, however Pintosmalto watched them go as he sensed something was wrong with Sayohime. As they were walking; Sayohime pulled out her gun and pulled the trigger on Cassandra. Sayohime smirks at her smugly however her smile faded as she noticed Cassandra wasn't falling and to her shock; the bullet that hit her suddenly popped out. Sayohime couldn't believe it, "What--? THAT SHOULD'VE KILLED YOU!!!" She exclaimed. Cassandra gave the girl a small smile, "Sorry, bullets don't do anything." She said bluntly. Sayohime grunted, she was about to pull her sword out but Cass spoke out again: "You can try to slice me but that won't do anything as well. It's the same result as the bullets." Sayohime noticed that Cassandra's wound had already healed, this shocked her completely. "What is that?" asked Sayohime. 

Cassandra shuffled her feet and rolled her head back before smiling, "Simple, I'm bulletproof. Titanium. Stone hard. Impassable. Imprevious." She answered. Sayohime was interested, "I see." She said. Cassandra looked at her, "Who are you?" She asked. "You wanna know? I'll tell you, my name is Sayohime Matsura and I'm an Oban Assassin." replied Sayohime. After her mission of aiding Cassandra and not killing her; Sayohime was alone as she couldn't help but wonder about one thing, why did she saved that girl? What was she anyway? And what she said about protecting someone? It didn't make any sense. While in training; Kintaro was doing crunches, pushups, punching the bag, sit ups, chin ups, and judo moves that he was taught in the military. Wearing a black tank top and sweat pants; his muscles look so leaned, he looked so fit. Once he was done; he panted and panted as he thought of the memory of his cousin: Him smiling at Kin while he said, "Kin, it's OK. I forgive you." This bothers Kintaro so much, "Why Shippeti? Why do you forgive me?" He thought. "So, Kin-chan....How's life been treating you?" Sayohime's voice called out. Kintaro turned around to see her there, "How long have you've been there?" He asked, in between gasps. Sayohime shrugged, "A while. Care to join me?" She replied. One minute later; they were at a bar where Sayohime offered him a deal. "You want me to fight a bunch of other fighters to get to the top?" asked Kintaro, "Sounds murderous." Sayohime shook her head, "It's not, I'll throw in a wager of yen. Hundred grand." She promised. That didn't convince him, "OK, what's in for me?" asked Kintaro, sipping his drink. Sayohime glanced at him, "I found the assholes who forced you to kill your cousin." She answered. Kintaro almost choked on his drink, "Y--you--what?" He coughed out. Sayohime shrugged, "What do you think I was doing? Killing people? No, I wanted to help you out." She explained. Kintaro glanced at her, "How, I mean...?" He stammered. A smug smirk appeared on Matsura's face, "I have my sources, my ways that is." She said. Shocked by this, Kintaro bowed his head but raised it up slightly in order for Sayohime see his wicked, unhinged leer. 

"I'll do it." Kintaro said. Sayohime smiled in satisfactory, "Knew you would." She said. And they toast each other, Kintaro was going to get his revenge. In the suburbia of Gandhara for the time being; there was a family of three. Oyamatsumi Asama despises his job and quits while his wife, Ohirume, is an aspiring yet worldly woman. They are trying to make lots of money to get rid of their foster daughter, Konohana Sakuya. Konohana is an 18 year old young lady with medium-length mahogany red hair and gold hazel eyes. She was slender, beautiful, and has freckles slightly on the bridge of her nose. Konohana was a naive, bubbly young lady but she begins to discover her powers of controlling flowers, reading people's mind--even communication telepathically, psychokinesis, and empathy. While looking out the window; Konohana notices someone is video-taping her. She realized it's some guy and she feels creeped out. She went away from the window, wondering what the heck was going on with this guy. The guy video-taping was Oinari Narukami, a tall but muscular young man who was a survivor of the squad, Dragon Sons. His captain, Asano Takumi, and Oinari's friend and rival, Kincho Oishi. In metropolios of Svarga; Captain Takumi and Kincho were faced to face with a criminal who was holding a woman hostage. But Oinari saved the woman while Takumi and Kincho took down the criminal with ninjutsu. Once saving the woman and taking down the criminal; Captain Takumi went away to take care of something important. Captain Asano Takumi has black hair fitted with constant, short pointy spikes already built from short hair itself. At the base of his hairline, he allows a few strands to hang just above his forehead. Asano's attire is a blue leisure suit, with a yellow shirt and boots. His trusted lieutenants are Oinari Narukami and Kincho Oishi: Oinari Narukami is a handsome reddish-white skinned boy with a tall and lean frame. Oinari has clean-cut but scruffy-looking dark brown hair. He is very masculinely shaped with a v-shaped torso, broad shoulders, and clearly defined muscles. On the other hand; Kincho Oishi has light blond hair cut at the bottom, brown skin, piercing gray eyes, high cheek bones, and a lean build. He wore a a skin-tight, full-body, red-and-blue suit with combat boots. 

Oinari was on a mission to watch for someone who is going to murder a seemingly happy couple of the Asamas of Gandhara suburbia. But he noticed this girl who intrigued him, Konohana Sakuya was her name. She looked pretty, like a blossom. As they are about to leave; Oinari and Kincho stopped where they could see orange petals in the air and a light from the sun rays. Kincho stopped and sniffed the air, "Sayuri, or should I say 'orange lily'. An orange lily means 'hatred, revenge'." He said, "I supposed that suits you doesn't it--Hangaku Itagaki!!!" He came face to face with a tall young lady who was older than she looked. People believed she was 15 but she was 20 years of age. Despite of her age, she was young. She used one of her knives and almost hit Kincho, but he dodged it. "Shit! Gotten better haven't you Lady Hangaku?" Kincho called out. Hangaku coiled around Kincho like she was a snake, "I learned from the best, you've improved in ninjutsu, Kin-san." She said. Kincho turned his head, "That's Kin-chan to you, you may be a ronin and a kunochi but you better keep your promise of protecting the Moon Princess." He said. Hangaku thought for a moment, "Oh? Moon Princess Kaguya Okina, I swear didn't I?" She said. Kincho knew something was up, "So, why are you here?" He asked. Hangaku looked over to see Oinari and went behind him but she let her fingers traced on the upper part of his back while she said, "I came to see my Tobi boy, he's bloomed so much." Kincho spoke out, "Down girl." He said. Hangaku glared at him, "Oh don't 'down girl' me." She said. "Watch it, don't forget what we've been through." reminded Kincho. In a flashback; back in the day, Asano is seen in a black haori. The haori sleeves were trimmed with white stripes, resulting in a very distinctive uniform, quite unlike the usual browns, blacks, and greys found in warrior clothing. Kincho wore the same thing but wore a dark grey as well as Oinari who wore a dark blue. 

They were sailing on a boat but the whole crew was under attack by a bunch of enthralling but deadly ningyos, who had butchered the remains of Dragon Sons: Hotei, Jurojin, Zojo, Fukurokuju, Bishamon, Daikokuten, Ebisu, Kichoten, Benzaiten, Tamon, Jikoku, and Komoku. Only three survivors remained--Asano Takumi, Oinari Narukami, and Kincho Oishi. In the present, it was a painful memory to remember. "I know, I'm sorry....I wish I could save them all...If I was there." said Hangaku sadly. Kincho rolled his eyes, annoyed, "Shut up." He muttered. Oinari elbowed him, "Thanks for you consideration, Hangaku." replied Oinari. Hangaku smiled in a sexy manner, "Anytime, Tobi." She purred and sauntered away. The next day after school, Konohana was by the creek and heard the music box of a familiar tune as she glanced over to see Oinari holding it. "You like it?" asked Oinari, he then closed the music box. Konohana looked away, "Um, just thought the song was beautiful. That's all." She claimed. "Me too, I think the song is wonderful." agreed Oinari. "Yeah, sure." Konohana replied, looking annoyed. Oinari noticed her attitude, "What's wrong? Did I do something to upset you?" He asked. Konohana glanced at him, "Why were you filming me?" She demanded. Oinari realized what he did yesterday, "Uh...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm not an obsessing stalker." He explained. Konohana didn't believe him, "Uh huh." She said. "I'm just curious." Oinari remarked. Konohana is amazed by this boy and becomes more curious. She somehow becomes smitten with this boy. The golden afternoon where the breeze felt nice as Konohana closed her eyes to feel it brushed against her. 

"Having fun?" Oinari asked. Konohana turned around and glared at him who had a video camera in hand, "Stop video-taping me." She snapped. "Look,  I want to make you my project." Oinari said. Cassandra looked at him, "Me? Oinari, you're weird but you really don't have to do that." She said. Oinari looked brooding, "Yeah, I know. But I find you interested. I told you, I'm curious." He reminded. Konohana smirked, "Let me borrow that for a second." She said, snatching the video camera from him and video tapes him, "Ah, now it's my turn to project you." She said. Oinari smirked back, "Me?" He said. Then, he leaned over and tried to kiss her. Konohana couldn't believe this scandalous maneuver, "Oh--!" She gasped and dodged him. "Don't even!" Konohana prompted. Even if she finds him weird, she has a feeling that this boy is going to change her life for the better. However, Konohana was asleep one night until she felt someone beside her and saw Oinari! There, Konohana became closer to this mysterious boy but she is stunt to discover Oinari is a ninja as he asked her to come with him. Konohana is lost for words as she accepts. Just then, they both heard a gunshot--twice. Scared; Konohana and Oinari crept downstairs to find out what that sound was until they discover the corpses of Oyamatsumi and Ohirume. Konohana is shocked but she's relieved as she decides to go with Oinari, where he introduces her to Kincho and Takumi. Takumi welcomes her however Kincho is too hostile towards her but Oinari assures her that he is not good with people. 

Alone; Kintaro's voice said, "Wishing in the dark is like shooting a gun in the dark when they are angry or sad, therefore usually regretting afterwards. You never know when you’re going to hit exactly what you’re aiming for. The wishes in the dark are dreams of being teared apart. The key to success is obsessing over the fractions that make up the whole. If you’re not doing that, you can never, ever get on this level. Now that we look back at what we were and what they were, its only right to bring back their impact. And what we've have done in the past...I  want to forget the past and move forward with my life. For the most part, a lot of legends start from humble beginnings. People tend to forget that. Many people are beautiful folks that bloom in the spring, but quickly fade over time....Not me, I am not fading away. I am going to hit high." There was Kintaro wielding his sword and he wears a loose red tank shirt and has tan pants that cut off just below the knee. He wears black boots. He prepares to win back his pride. His dignity, he may carry a burden but someone else needs to feel what he feels.

Chapter 8: Hour of the Assassin 


There is a sparring match between Pintosmalto and Signora Rosaura. "You ready?" The boy asked the girl. "Come on, bad boy! Come and get me." said a girl, posing in a seduction dare. The young man is surprised to see her that way, "Damn, here goes..." He said. The girl prepared herself and bounces off as she cried, "He-yah!" "Wha--?" The boy thought, he dodged her and the girl smiled at him and took him down after he dodged. "Haha, I got passed you. And you thought I was a distressed damsel." She remarked. The boy looked at her with amazement, "Whoa, I think I like you Hilda." He said.  "I'll bet you like this." Hilda  said, she jumped and stretch out her leg to kick him: "Yah!" She lets her leg dropped. The boy dodged her, "You're good." He replied. "Thanks, I learned from the best." Hilda said. The boy laughed, "Oh, you laugh huh Sigurd?" remarked Hilda. Sigurd attack, grabbed Hilda in a chokehold around her neck, "Ah--! Oh my--!" Hilda gasped. But she got the upperhand and got him however she leaned over and liplock before pulling away, "Admit it, I'm good." She said. "So good, really, really good." remarked Sigurd. Hilda stood up and walked away. In the light of the moon; there was a young lady in a white kimono, she had her kitana its sheath tied near her hip and wore tabi socks and wooden geta shoes on her feet. Her hair in a high bun, a stoic look upon her beautiful face, and was standing on the roof of the highest buildng. "A new moon, fresh for the striking kill." said the woman. Then, the white kimono attired lady jumps from the roof and glided into the night. Meanwhile, there was a meeting so intese with someone name Aslaug. "What do you want, Aslaug?" demanded Cassandra. Aslaug shrugged, "Just to help you, Miss Psyche Durga." She remarked. Ancinto touched Cassandra's shoulder, "Don't listen to her, she's trying to seduce your mind into madness." She said. Her mother came into the conversation, "Precious Aslaug, you went down that rabbit hole before and there's no way we can pull you out. I apologize." She said. Aslaug smiled bitterly, "It's fine, Mom. Really it is." She said. 


Glaring at Cassandra, she retorted by saying: "But Cass, you and I are the same. It won't be long until you lose someone precious to you again. Over and over until it drives you so mad that you become someone else."  She had a dark look in her eyes. Ancinto gave her a look, "Aslaug, that's enough." He said. Aslaug continued to speak in a snarky tone, "You think you can make Cass your angel, your princess, I already know who she is and she knows what would happen now. She can 'see' it, right Cassie?" Mimir glared at her, "Aslaug, stop it." He said. Aslaug turned to her mother, "Mom, I went through madness didn't I? You know, Cass. I lost some people too." She said. Her mother looked desperate, "I helped you out." claimed Grimhild. Aslaug showed her dark eyes that had tints of purple in them. "And look what happened to me now." She said. Signora Rosaura gasped. Her mother begin to speak in a sarcastic manner, "Oh sure, you and your powers." Grimhild said. "You'll be going down, down, down until...Should I tell her?" taunted Aslaug. Mimir was getting irritated, "No." He said. Cassandra was eager to know, "What?" She asked. Aslaug glanced at her, "Oh, should I tell you?" Aslaug asked. "Aslaug!" Mimir scolded. "No, she should know. Prince Pintosmalto and his friends are targeted by an assassin. His name is Watatsumi Samebito."  explained Aslaug, looking all smug. Cassandra looked shocked, "Watatsumi?" she asked. Aslaug grinned, "Yes, him. He's gotta kill somebody and Pinto here is about to meet his maker." She said. Ancinto glanced at her, "Aslaug, don't even." Aslaug noticed Pintosmalto and his girlfriend looked uncomfortable so she got out of her chair and went behind them, her hands coiled on the back of their chairs. "Look at these two, they look at the same as Reuben and Judy. So cute, what a cute couple." She said. Her pointy nailed hands coiled around their necks like snakes. "Let me show you what the kill will be." retorted Aslaug. Her hands coiled towards their necks, where their jugulars were and she squeezed them into a choking position. Nora Rosa gasped, Pintosmalto grunting in great pain. Cassandra got pissed: "GET AWAY FROM THEM!!!" shouted Cassandra. She used her telekinetic powers as every object in the air as everyone cowered in fear and trying to shield themselves from the battle between Cassandra and Aslaug. 


Signora Rosaura and Pintosmalto watch as Cass float in the air in great horror. "Are you sure about this, Cass?!" Aslaug demanded, floating in the air. "Cass, enough!" called Mimir. "Cassandra, snap out of it!" Giuseppe called. Aslaug begin to laugh, "Aww! Look at her, she's losing her head on sanity." bullied Aslaug. "Cass, dear. Please, calm down." said Grimhild. More of the objects coming up by the force of the mind powers. "Now she's going among mad people once she loses someone again and again, she's already closer to insanity than I was!" shouted Aslaug. "That's not true, Asla!" cried out Mimir. "Get out of here!" Cassandra commanded. Aslaug laughed again, but in a more hysterical way of barmy craziness. In the meantime, there was a girl singing: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. When I feel afraid, think I've lost my way....Still You're there right beside me, Nothing will I fear as long as you are near, Please be near me to the end....Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path." Then, she begins to hum to herself. She sings again: "Nothing will I fear as long as you are near, Please be near me to the end.....Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. And a light unto my path, You're the light unto my path."

Cassandra turned around and glared at the two. "What--what the hell are you doing here?" She demanded. "Waiting for you to wake up." Pintosmalto answered. Cassandra looked at him, "Why?" She asked. Pintosmalto smirked at her, "Just want to say that somehow I look like someone I used to know. Reuben, is that right?" He said. "What?" Cassandra gasped. Pintosmalto snubbed her, "And Arcturus, am I correct?" He inquired. Cassandra looked annoyed, "You people don't know when to stay out of my business, huh." She remarked. Pintosmalto shrugged, "Well, tragedies come around. You went through hell." He said. Cassandra rolled her eyes, "You don't understand, it's not just tragedies and it's not a big deal. Not with Reuben  or Judy or the others but..." She said. But stopped and Signora Rosaura and Pintosmalto looked at her. Cassandra begin to cry, "They were my friends, my friends...They had hopes and dreams, they were supposed to lead a future. Now their dreams are gone...and so are they." She sobbed. Pintosmalto looked at her for a moment and turned away but he said, "You're not the only one with misfortunes...All of us had been throug a lot. In a shooting, Tithonous loss 12 of his best friends while attending this awesome actio flick they went to see. Tithonous survived, he was lucky but not his friends. Betta was a helper for a bunch of kids at an elementary school and witnesed it all while hiding in the closet of the classroom but then she saw the guy take...his own life." Cassandra was astonished to hear this however Pintosmalto continued, Ronald was attending this marathon when a bomb went off and people died however some survived but lost their limbs. Some were mentally damaged. Theobald, Romar, Signora Rosaura, and I went through I survived from a tsunami one time as we almost died. We had servere injuries and we helped others find their families. I almost lost my friends...And the love of my life."

The woman is an assassin, her name is Sayohime Matsura and she kills people because it's her duties to take down those that are destined to die--It's part of her job. Today, her assignment is to murder Silver Branch agent: Cassandra Endymion! Unknown to her; Sayohime will discover the secret truth of Cassandra! Meanwhile; Mimir and Cassandra was called in for a meeting but King Giuseppe, Prince Pintosmalto, Signora Rosaura, and Palendina. However there was some unexpected people coming too--There was a 30 something man in a wheelchair, a woman with dark red hair that was mid-length, and a woman in her 40's with a suit. The man seemed authoriative, he wore a grey suit and he was a nice guy, his name is Ancinto. The woman has a beehive hairdo in an elegant manner and wore outfits of something aristocrats would be seen dressed in and her name is Grimhild. The beautiful young lady was striking, she has dark red hair and usually wears provocative clothing.  This was the cocky, rebellious Aslaug. "What do you want, Aslaug?" demanded Cassandra. Aslaug shrugged, "Just to help you, Miss Psyche Durga." She remarked. Ancinto touched Cassandra's shoulder, "Don't listen to her, she's trying to seduce your mind into madness." She said. Her mother came into the conversation, "Precious Aslaug, you went down that rabbit hole before and there's no way we can pull you out. I apologize." She said. Aslaug smiled bitterly, "It's fine, Mom. Glaring at Cassandra, she retorted by saying: "But Cass, you and I are the same. It won't be long until you lose someone precious to you again. Over and over until it drives you so mad that you become someone else."  She had a dark look in her eyes. Ancinto gave her a look, "Aslaug, that's enough." He said. Aslaug continued to speak in a snarky tone, "You think you can make Cass your angel, your princess, I already know who she is and she knows what would happen now. She can 'see' it, right Cassie?" Mimir glared at her, "Aslaug, stop it." He said. Aslaug turned to her mother, "Mom, I went through madness didn't I? You know, Cass. I lost some people too." She said. Her mother looked desperate, "I helped you out." claimed Grimhild. Aslaug showed her dark eyes that had tints of purple in them. "And look what happened to me now." She said. Signora Rosaura gasped. Her mother begin to speak in a sarcastic manner, "Oh sure, you and your powers." Grimhild said. "You'll be going down, down, down until...Should I tell her?" taunted Aslaug. Mimir was getting irritated, "No." He said. Cassandra was eager to know, "What?" She asked. Aslaug glanced at her, "Oh, should I tell you?" Aslaug asked. "Aslaug!" Mimir scolded. "No, she should know. Prince Pintosmalto and his friends are targeted by an assassin. His name is Watatsumi Samebito."  explained Aslaug, looking all smug. Cassandra looked shocked, "Watatsumi?" she asked. Aslaug grinned, "Yes, him. He's gotta kill somebody and Pinto here is about to meet his maker." She said. Ancinto glanced at her, "Aslaug, don't even." Aslaug noticed. Pintosmalto and his girlfriend looked uncomfortable so she got out of her chair and went behind them, her hands coiled on the back of their chairs. "Look at these two, they look at the same as Reuben and Judy. So cute, what a cute couple." She said. Her pointy nailed hands coiled around their necks like snakes. "Let me show you what the kill will be." retorted Aslaug. Her hands coiled towards their necks, where their jugulars were and she squeezed them into a choking position. Nora Rosa gasped, Pintosmalto grunting in great pain. Cassandra got pissed: "GET AWAY FROM THEM!!!" shouted Cassandra. She used her telekinetic powers as every object in the air as everyone cowered in fear and trying to shield themselves from the battle between Cassandra and Aslaug. 


Signora Rosaura and Pintosmalto watch as Cass float in the air in great horror. "Are you sure about this, Cass?!" Aslaug demanded, floating in the air. "Cass, enough!" called Mimir. "Cassandra, snap out of it!" Giuseppe called. Aslaug begin to laugh, "Aww! Look at her, she's losing her head on sanity." bullied Aslaug. "Cass, dear. Please, calm down." said Grimhild. More of the objects coming up by the force of the mind powers. "Now she's going among mad people once she loses someone again and again, she's already closer to insanity than I was!" shouted Aslaug. "That's not true, Asla!" called Ancinto. "Get out of here!" Cassandra commanded. Aslaug laughed again, but in a more hysterical way of barmy craziness. "Aslaug, don't make me come over there!" hollered Grimhild. The battle of minds continued! "I am so sick of everyone treating you like you're the all loving heroine! There's nothing heroic about you, Cassie! Seriously, Cassie girl, better watch your back sweetheart! You don't want to get BURNED!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Aslaug. "I'll burn you if you ever come near my friends again." replied Cassandra darkly, forcing Aslaug out of the meeting room. Later; Cassandra feels a deja-vu coming up, Aslaug was right--The assassin Watatsumi Samebito was after Pintosmalto and his friends. Cassandra couldn't make the same mistake like she lost her friends in the prom massacre, nor Arcturus and the others, never again. "I lost them once, I'm not losing them again." Cassandra told herself repeatedly. She looked out the window and could see Pintosmalto & Signora Rosaura together, "I promised myself I would protect them." thought Cassandra. She turned away from the window as the memories of Reuben and Judy haunt her so much. Cass remembered that before Reuben and Judy became a couple; she once had a crush on Reuben before senior year in high school. She was in love, she had her first kiss however the same went for Judy. Cass learned Judy and Reuben were a couple after she found Judy's notebook that had something on the back, R + J, on it. Cassandra was crestfallen nevertheless she gave up her love for Reuben so her best friend Judy could be happy. 

Cassandra expressed her happiness for Judy dating Reuben, she knew she couldn't have Reuben but it was OK because as long as her best friend was happy. Alas, they wer dead and she couldn't save them. Just then, an agent comes in. "Miss Endymion, someone wants to see you." The agent said. Curious; Cassandra left the room and came to see someone in a plaid buttoned down shirt with color dyed jeans and a wristband around her left wrist. "Um, can I help you?" asked Cassandra. Sayohime looked at her, "Are you Cassandra Endymion?" She asked. Cassandra nodded, "Yes." She said. Sayohime beckoned her, "Come with me, let's talk somewhere more private." replied Sayohime. Cassandra shrugged, "OK." She said. Cassandra followed her, however Pintosmalto watched them go as he sensed something was wrong with Sayohime. As they were walking; Sayohime pulled out her gun and pulled the trigger on Cassandra. Sayohime smirks at her smugly however her smile faded as she noticed Cassandra wasn't falling and to her shock; the bullet that hit her suddenly popped out. Sayohime couldn't believe it, "What--? THAT SHOULD'VE KILLED YOU!!!" She exclaimed. Cassandra gave the girl a small smile, "Sorry, bullets don't do anything." She said bluntly. Sayohime grunted, she was about to pull her sword out but Cass spoke out again: "You can try to slice me but that won't do anything as well. It's the same result as the bullets." Sayohime noticed that Cassandra's wound had already healed, this shocked her completely. "What is that?" asked Sayohime. Cassandra shuffled her feet and rolled her head back before smiling, "Simple, I'm bulletproof. Titanium. Stone hard. Impassable. Imprevious." She answered. Sayohime was interested, "I see." She said. Cassandra looked at her, "Who are you?" She asked. "You wanna know? I'll tell you, my name is Sayohime Matsura and I'm an Oban Assassin." replied Sayohime. A few minutes later; Cassandra got the whole story from her. It turns out Sayohime Matsura is an assassin out to kill Cassandra in order to reclaim her honor as one of the best assassins of The Great Watch Assassins. Cassandra listens and comes in about Watatsumi, Sayohime is familiar with him. Sayohime listened to Cassandra's explanation about how Samebito is out to kill Pintosmalto and his friends. "Why do you care about these people?" Sayohime asked. "Because, I made a promise to protect them." replied Cassandra. When Sayohime heard this, she was stunt to hear this. She remembered something of a man making a promise to her, "I swear to protect you, Sayo. That's my assignment." He said. Sayohime was shocked to hear this however she went away. 


In the meantime; There is a sparring match between Pintosmalto and Signora Rosaura. "You ready?" The boy asked the girl. "Come on, bad boy! Come and get me." said Signora Rosa, posing in a seduction dare. Pintosmalto is surprised to see her that way, "Damn, here goes..." He said. Nora Rosa prepared herself and bounces off as she cried, "He-yah!" "Wha--?" Pinto thought, he dodged her and the girl smiled at him and took him down after he dodged. "Haha, I got passed you. And you thought I was a distressed damsel." She remarked. Pintosmalto looked at her with amazement, "Whoa, I think I like you Nora Rosa." He said.  "I'll bet you like this." Signora Rosaura  said, she jumped and stretch out her leg to kick him: "Yah!" She lets her leg dropped. Pintosmalto dodged her, "You're good." He replied. "Thanks, I learned from the best." Signora Rosaura  said. The boy laughed, "Oh, you laugh huh Pinto?" remarked Signora Rosaura. Pinto attack, grabbed Nora Rosa in a chokehold around her neck, "Ah--! Oh my--!" Signora Rosaura gasped. But she got the upperhand and got him however she leaned over and liplock before pulling away, "Admit it, I'm good." She said. "So good, really, really good." remarked Pintosmalto. Signora Rosaura stood up and walked away. Sigurd followed her, "Any good sleep?" He asked. Signora Rosaura was uncomfortable, "No. But I felt like someone was calling to me, that voice said, 'My dear, sweet girl. Fear not, for I am watching over you.'" "Who is that?" asked Pintosmalto. "I don't know, I wish I did." Signora Rosaura remarked, she leaned her elbows over the balcony. She felt someone's arm around her wasist and looked to see Pinto beside her. "Don't worry, it'll come back to you. One day." He said. Signora Rosaura smiled at him and lean her head on his shoulders. 


In her sleep; Casandra had a dream: The soldiers attacked, puncturing Casss's body abdomen. Cassandra felt anger, the wounds on her body begin to vanish from her skin. Now she was pissed, the soldiers looked scared so they try to leave but Cassa held them against their will and then killed them one by one with her telekinetic powers in the most violent way. Waking up; Cassandra  screamed in terror, "NOOOO, NOT ME!" It was all a nightmare buts she couldn’t stop screaming. Hearing her screaming, Pintosmalto taking both her shoulders, "Cass, wake up!" He asked. Cass was still exclaiming, "NOT ME! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! PLEASE, HAVE MERCY!" "Cass, snap out of it!" Pinto said, shaking her. "MERCY!" Cassandra cried, "PLEASE!" "It's OK, Cassandra. we're here.” Nora Rosa soothed. Cassandra begin to sob, the only thing that her friends could do was comfort her. “It’s OK, Cass. It’s OK. We're here. It’s OK." Later on, Cassandra was scrubbing dishes as Pintosmalto approach her, "Hi." He said. Cassandra turned to him, "Hi." She said. "What you doing?" asked Pintosmalto. "What does it look like, silly? I'm washing the dishes." Cassandra said. "Oh, sorry." Pintosmalto said. He sat there, watching her as she scrubbed the dishes. Cassandra blushed from him observing her. She almost stab herself while cleaning a knife. It wasn't silent, creepy and freaky but it was a more calming and serenity quietude. "Hey, Cass?" Pintosmalto asked, after long periods of silence. "Yes?" Cassandra said. "There's a festival going on, you want to go there with my friends?" asked Pintosmalto. Cassandra shifted around and continued to wash, "I don't know, you want me to?" She asked. Pintosmalto shrugged, "I don't know, you want to go?" He asked. "Sure, why not?" Cassandra said. "Is that a yes?" Pintosmalto asked.  "It's a yes." Cassandra said with a smile. While at the festival; Cassandra was having a blast with Pintosmalto and the gang however Cass has a vision of Watatsumi Samebito making his move closer and closer with each step he took. Cass got Pintosmalto and the gang away but Watatsumi try to get closer however Sayohime stops him enough for Cassandra and the gang to escape.  


"What are you doing?" Betta asked. Cass turned to her and replied, "Trying to save you from certain death." Pintosmalto looked at her, "You don't have to protect either of us." He said. Cassandra looked tensed, "I'm not losing anyone again this time." She said. Pintosmalto reached over, Cassandra flushed and looked at him. "Stop, we want to fight back. It's OK." He said. This left her stunt but that wasn't it. Cassandra looked at his face, somehow he reminds her of someone. She then saw a vision of Reuben. Cassandra trembled as she begin to clutch her head. "No, I--Reuben." She muttered, "Reuben, I'll never let you die. Don't die..." Pintosmalto looked at her with concern, "Hey, are you OK? You look unwell. Can I get you a drink of water or something to eat?" He asked. Cass took a step back, "Please. Stay away, stay back. I--" She muttered. Flashback etched in her mind of her and Reuben and Judy laughing. Cassandra was so in devastation. "Reuben..." She whispered. Signora Rosaura looked at her, "Um, are you're OK? I'm not sure--" She place a hand on her forehead but the two of them suddenly saw visions in their mind. Cassandra try to push them away, "Let go of me! Ah!" She gasped. But they could see images in her head that were memories: These people are there to celebrate the senior high school students' last day before they graduate. There were high school graduates: 20 year old Cassandra Endymion, who was having a blast with friends: Reuben, Judy, Danielle, Asher, Benjamin, Josephine, and Ephraim. This will be their last day with one another so they decide to make the most of the night with one another. But this prom night was going to take a darker turn, a man in a tuxedo came up to the microphone and said, "All right! It's time to announce the winners of this year's Prom King and Queen." He had a small envelope in his hand and rips it up. "And the winners are....REUBEN MATTHEWS AND JUDY DAVIS!" Everyone broke into an applause, Reuben and Judy went to the stage to accept their crowns as Judy is given a bouquet of roses. 


Just then, unexpected visitors crashed the party with loaded guns and started a massacre. They shot at other people who fell to the floor. Panic filled everyone else, they try to flee but some were shot in the process. Cassandra watched in horror as her friends were being shot at. She noticed that Reuben was panting of the wound bleeding from there as he cries out, "Ohhh, the pain." Judy noticed Cassandra there and calls out, "Get away from here Cass!" "Save yourself Cass!" Asher called out, "Get away from here!" However they were all shot at as Cassandra screamed with terror. Cassandra was getting prepared for a job interview, she had a resume prepared with her. She took a shower motionless, she slowly clean her hair and body. Then, she got dressed and put on lip gloss. As she went to the interview; it doesn't go smoothly. The sounds of a loud boom set off Cassandra as she screamed while remembering the tragic incident. The employer then said after Cassandra calmed down, "I cannot hire someone who cannot get her act together. Go get some therapy and come back as a sane lady!" Cassandra was humiliated of this, she walked out with tears in her eyes and drove away. As she got back home; Cassandra takes a bubble bath. As her feet were at the foot of the tub, she rested her eyelids and slid underwater. Cassandra opened her eyes and emerged from the water of the bath, gasping for breath. Then, Cassandra could not look at her mother when she got out of the bath and hurried to her room. One day, Cassandra was going to another job interview and entered an elevator but on the elevator buttons, there was a rabbit on there. Curious, Cassandra pressed it as she then suddenly felt the elevator going faster and twisting around and around. "Am I going to crash?" She wondered, "No, it can't end like this! It can't!" Cassandra screamed in utter terror. Cassandra stared at everyone fighting and rolled her eyes up to the ceiling, then she flexed out her hand and yelled, "SHUT UP!!!" The others were lifted from the ground, Cassandra couldn't believe that she was the only doing this. Then she drops them down safely, she sighed and smiled. "Now, tell me....who's a misfit?" asked Cassandra with a witty look on her face. The others stared up in amazement, "Ohhhh...." They chorused. 


One minute later; Samson, Justice, Echo, Proteus, Kamaitachi, Christopher, Lleu, Hanuman and Zaden were standing up like soldiers. Cassandra paced left and right from them. "Listen up!" She said to them. "We come from different places of our homes, and brought here for an unknown reason. So, If we're going to find some answers, we need to ventured to the unknown and find this person responsible for this; we must put our colors--our personalities aside--and become one....Any questions?" Borvo raised his hand, "Ma'm, I have one." He said. Cassandra turned to him, "Yes Borvo?" She asked. Borvo then talked normally, "Um...Exactly where do we start?" Cassandra nodded, thinking about that. "Ah, that's a very good question my friend." She turned to the horizon of the city, pointing over to a building. "You see that building over there? This building stands out than the rest of them, it has stained glass windows. I'm curious to know what's in there." Memories were flaunting out, it was insane. "What the--?" Signora Rosaura thought, "What is all this?" Cassandra thrash about violently, "Stop it!" She cried. "Get out, GET OUT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD, STAY OUT OF MY MIND! BOTH OF YOU!!!!!!" More memories invaded into Nora Rosa and Pinto's head, they saw terror: Cassandra’s eyes bulged in horror."Our great heroes are honored at long last but you won't be honored when I play...This!" A large TV image plays of someone entering a movie cinema. Cassandra couldn’t believe it, "It can't be!" She gasped. Next was gunshots, people screaming. It shows images of Cassandra’s friends and other people being shot at. "Oh my..." Mimir gasped. "Oh no...!" Trygve cursed. Everyone was horrified by these images however Ector and his friends laughed. They was in hysterics of this. They thought this was all so funny? How dare they…Cassandra’s body tremble but felt a rough hand on her back, "Bitch, are you gonna cry--" Ector said. Cassandra turned to him fiercely with her telekinesis. Ector flew back into a column. "Ohhh!" The crowd gasped. "Uh oh." Lleu said softly. "Cass." Samson muttered. Jack was furious at Ector, he ran over at him and cried, "You will pay for that!!!!!!" "Jack!" Bellerphon cried. Too late, Ector pulled out a gun and fired at Jack. Jack fell to the ground, "Nooooo! Jack..." Cassandra screamed. She rushed over to him. Cassandra felt hot tears running down her face, she turned to Ector. Her veins pulsed with anger. A turning point where her powers are activating. She looked up and spread out her arms, where her powers bend the lights from above. 


Everyone looked up in horror. "Oh crap..." Hanuman thought. Proteus forced the doors opened and shouted, "Everyone out NOW!!!!" Immediately; the crowd rushes out. Borvo and Juniper look back, they were concerned about their friend. "Cass!" They both cried, Zaden seized them both and said, "Come on, let's go!" Borvo and Juniper  tried to struggle but Zaden pulled them away.  In the abandoned party, Cassandra and Ector were the only ones in there, Ector tried to attack her but Cassandra flexed her hand, telekinetically choking him by the throat. She threw him backwards and he landed there. Cassandra uses her powers to cause a fire. The others peeked inside, what they saw was hell. The whole place was scorched of fire. Fire, fire was all around. Tears pooling and cascading down Cassandra's eyes as she was filled with rage. She faced the person that had destroyed her, murdered her school peers at the dance. Now, it was getting personal. No more Miss Sweet, she was pissed! But the doors closed automatically. She wanted to kill him however she realized something, this wasn't sure about this and lets him live. Pintosmalto was horrified, "Ah...What...?" He thought. "Stop this..." He saw in his mind of people burnt to death. Signora Rosaura was tormented by these memories too as she screeched, "AUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHH, WHAT ARE YOU?!" Suddenly, a telekinetic force killed all of the incoming monsters! Cass passed out in horror as Pinto and Signora Rosaura escaped while escorting her. As they were safely hidden out of sight; Signora Rosaura was looking at the unconscious Cassandra and she attempts to reach over her forehead, but Pintosmalto stopped her: "Don't Nora Rosa, we've seen enough haven't we?" He said. "No, let me see one more thing...Please?" Signora Rosaura pleaded softly. Pintosmalto looked at her, then he nodded. "OK." He said. 


Nora Rosa reached over and grazed her fingers upon Cassandra's forehead where she could see another memory in Cass's head: There was a funeral for the fallen: The murdered members of Silver Branch are honored. Arturus, Findabair, Llwch, Hector, Emrys, Nudd, Marcus, Maponos, Drustan, and Bernard were found dead as well as three other bodies--Kephas, Demetri, and Alexis. As it turned out; the three of them had betrayed Melisande. They had given the experimental chemicals to Damon and Heidi to experiment on Ophelia. When Melisande found out, she was so upset that she broke down and murdered them with her psychic powers and Tristan found her shrieking and her hands covered with blood. Tristan managed to coax her down as Melisande blubbered, "I TRUSTED THEM!!!! I TRUSTED THEM!!!!" over and over again. This also took a toll on the other members. Brynhilde, Naveen, Sparrow, Damocles, Hansel, Barka, Stavr, Orvor, Pyramus, Thisbe, Knutine, Patroklos, his friends and brother, Tobit, Sarah, Vanahgn, his pals, Elric, his comrades, Ligeia, Tannhauser, their allies, Melusine and her squad departed from Silver Brahcn to go back to the worlds they came from but give Cassandra and the others a heart a gratitude and will see them soon one day. Cassandra is sad but she understands as she and the other agents said goodbye. Nora Rosa took her hands away from Cass's temples and was dazed by what she'd seen. "Wow, with so much going on; she was tryng to protect us from the repeative pasts she's been through." Signora Rosaura said. Pintosmalto looked at her, "Is that why--?" He asked. Signora Rosaura nodded, "In a way. Yeah, I guess she had some problems with herself too." 


All of a sudden, someone was singing in a pretty voice: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. When I feel afraid, think I've lost my way....Still You're there right beside me, Nothing will I fear as long as you are near, Please be near me to the end....Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path." The singing was coming from Cass, who must be singing in her sleep or perhaps she's awake but her eyes are closed. "Nothing will I fear as long as you are near, Please be near me to the end.....Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. And a light unto my path, You're the light unto my path." When Cass woke up, she muttered to herself: "Oh man...Was I singing just now?" "Yes." Nora Rosa said. Cassandra turned around and glared at the two. "What--what the hell are you doing here?" She demanded. "Waiting for you to wake up." Pintosmalto answered. Cassandra looked at him, "Why?" She asked. Pintosmalto smirked at her, "Just want to say that somehow I look like someone I used to know. Reuben, is that right?" He said. "What?" Cassandra gasped. Pintosmalto snubbed her, "And Arcturus, am I correct?" He inquired. Cassandra looked annoyed, "You people don't know when to stay out of my business, huh." She remarked. Pintosmalto shrugged, "Well, tragedies come around. You went through hell." He said. Cassandra rolled her eyes, "You don't understand, it's not just tragedies and it's not a big deal. Not with Reuben  or Judy or the others but..." She said. But stopped and Signora Rosaura and Pintosmalto looked at her. Cassandra begin to cry, "They were my friends, my friends...They had hopes and dreams, they were supposed to lead a future. Now their dreams are gone...and so are they." She sobbed. Pintosmalto looked at her for a moment and turned away but he said, "You're not the only one with misfortunes...All of us had been throug a lot. In a shooting, Tithonous loss 12 of his best friends while attending this awesome actio flick they went to see. Tithonous survived, he was lucky but not his friends. Betta was a helper for a bunch of kids at an elementary school and witnesed it all while hiding in the closet of the classroom but then she saw the guy take...his own life." Cassandra was astonished to hear this however Pintosmalto continued, "Ronald was attending this marathon when a bomb went off and people died however some survived but lost their limbs. Some were mentally damaged. Theobald, Romar, Signora Rosaura, and I survived from a tsunami one time as we almost died. We had servere injuries and we helped others find their families. I almost lost my friends..." 

Then, he glanced over at Nora Rosa who gave him a watery smiled as he said, "...And the love of my life..." Cassandra, too, had a rheumy grin upon her face, "Wow...I never knew. But it's so beautiful how you managed to survive. Now that I think about it, my friends are dead but I'm still here." She said. Pintosmalto cupped her face in his hands, "You don't have to protect us, we can defend for ourselves but thank you for helping us." He said. Cassandra smiled, "My pleasure, Reuben." She said. Cass realized what she said, "I mean, Pinto." She replied. "Don't get kissy with him, Cassandra." Signora Rosaura said, giving her a look. "Whatever you say...Judy." Cassandra remarked. Cassandra, Pintosmalto, and Nora Rosa all laughed. It felt pretty good, really, and things were going to be OK. In the meantime; Sayohime was alone as she couldn't help but wonder about one thing, why did she saved that girl? What was she anyway? And what she said about protecting someone? It didn't make any sense.
