Chapter 5: The Ice Shrew Among Monsters

Madness. It was madness, insanity. Aynia and Clidna were on a small boat where they made a grisly discovery. There was people, all in various states of dismemberment. Most of the people were torn apart; one torso floated without limbs near two collided ships. The women on the other hand, seemed to have died from blunt trauma in the crash. They found a man was dead, his body looked like it had been half eaten. And Aynia touched his forehead and saw a disturbing memory inside his dead bodied, but living mind: He hits her again, harder this time. Her head rocks back; her eyes roll wildly. A wet gagging sound slides out of her leaking red mouth. She spits two molars onto the carpet. "YOU!!!!!" He shouted. He is sobbing now, his shoulders heaving raggedly between punches. The living room walls echo the dull meat market sounds of fist against flesh. She looks him dead in the eye and spits out an incisor, another molar, a canine. "Where is he? Where is my son?" This time the blow knocks her sprawling to the floor. She spits out two more incisors and a half-digested index finger. And then this thing that looks like his wife just stares up at him and smiles with a mouthful of impossibly sharp teeth. Aynia let go as she begin to feel increasingly uncomfortable. She managed to calm herself down as she and Clidna had to dig deeper. Then, they found bodies of three monsters and as she touched their skin, Aynia learned that they were once human: The three subjects were males, 22, 23, and 29. The subjects also swore to secrecy. The chemical was successfully administered to all three subjects. Within the first hour, all three of them started screaming in agony. After sedation, each subject had his left arm cut open with a scalpel and his right arm shot by a weapon. When the scalpel penetrated one of the subjects’s skin, it reacted with a dark amorphous solid substance filling the cut almost as fast as the skin was opened up. It sealed so fast that the scalpel was stuck in his arm. The injury caused by the blade was sealed by the dark amorphous blood within three seconds. After 84 hours, all three of the subjects started to act unusual. Instead of using the entertainment around them, they sat in their beds and groaned, as if they were sad or ashamed. After 110 hours, One of the subjects passed out. Blood tests could not be run because the blood was solid and amorphous. The only thing that was determined was the poison in their blood, which was at 5, was far more acidic than usual. The subjects were escorted to the test room. The three subjects looked far different from the beginning. The skin had turned to a shade of grey, and their skin looked noticeably thicker.

Their eye colours have changed to pure black, and they were bloodshot. The experiment will continue as planned, but the chemical must be remodeled before repeating the experiment. Before opening fire on the subjects; the subjects showed inhuman strength. They immediately pounced on their attackers and used their teeth as a most effective weapon. Six armed men lost consciousness as their attackers touched their teeth to their skin. One’s arm was devoured by the subjects. Another set of two bodies were discovered and Aynia touched their corpses to find out what happened: Beira chose the macho looking guy who had tried to attack her to go first. When he walked in, the guy was more terrified than he had ever been in his life. Security strapped him into the long box-shaped metal frame. He was encased in what looked like a hollow cage without the extra bars in the middle, and two flat iron bars met in in the center of his body. Attached to their undersides were many small, sharp, iron spikes, suspended above his chest. A guard nodded at her and without warning, she pressed a button which suddenly lowered the two iron bars, plunging the spikes into the middle of his chest and abdomen. He screamed and clenched his fists as blood began oozing out, then turned his head to look at me. Beira raised my eyebrows. “I’ll only start when you’re ready. Remember, the longer you wait, the more it’ll hurt,” She reminded him. He breathed heavily, then turned his head back around to look at his bleeding body. Then he winced and looked away again. Soon, he wouldn't be like this anymore! The next day, There was a woman who was dragged into the room, screaming and begging. She shouted that she didn’t do it, and that she was innocent, but Beira was taking none of it. She signaled at security to strap her into the confinements. She didn’t bother to warn her. Slowly, Beira took out a syringe and a small jar full of bluish-yellow liquid. She closed the box then unscrewed the jar lid, sucking out a syringe-full of its contents. "No, please, don’t do this to me-" Beira walked closer, showing her that she was uninterested. She continued to sob and pant. “I wasn’t the one,” she whispered as she shook her head frantically. “I know who killed her, it wasn’t me! Don’t do it!” As the fluid entered her skin, her neck started to turn slightly blue, and her veins swelled up. She gasped in agony. Then Beira ran over to the laptop and started the timer. According to the measurements, she should be dead in around three days. Before they had to turn her body into the body of a monster!

One week later; Clidna begin to see less and less of her stepmother, so she went to see her but what she found disturbed her: There they were, humans......or what used to be them. All of them had abnormal body shapes, claw hands, and looked like naked humans but looked more violent. "What?" whispered Chloris, she couldn't believe it. "Stepmother!?" Clidna cried. Beira smiled at her, "Clidna, hi sweetie." "What the hell are you doing here?!" demanded Clidna. Beira's smile faded, "Do not talk to your stepmother that way!" She admonished. "Beira, Stop this now! I want you to be flat out honest and answer me--" Clidna admonished. Beira but cut her off. "I am only trying to protect you from these people." She said. "Those people are my friends, Stepmother." Clidna confessed. Beira looked at her with disbelief, then a smirk appeared on her face. "Friends? Friends?" She said, then she laughed at Clidna who looked down. She clenched her fists as she heard Beira clapping menacingly as she spoke to her, "All those bastards, They are feeding you lies, like your father." Clidna covered her ears, "Beira!" She shouted. But Beira did not ceased, "They tell you things They just want to brainwash ... They are demons, do not stay here. Clidna, you get your ass out there right now!" "No." Clidna said. Beira walked over to her with a rage look. "Are you talking back to me? Disobeying your own stepmother, I do not care how old you are. You are going to listen to me." She threatened. "Shut up!" Clidna screamed, a horde of banshees surround her and startled Beira. Clidna uses the banshees to keep them ready for anything. "I'm staying here, OK? Goodbye." Clidna ordered but Beira slapped her so hard that she fell to the ground. She tried to get back up however she was pinned down by her stepmother. "Stupid brat, why do deliberately defy me? Is it me?! You hate Mama Frost, is that it?!" yelled Beira, wrestling her to the ground. "Get away from me!" cried Clidna. "What happened to my sweet girl? Huh What happened to my beloved stepdaughter Where's my fairy princess?" argued Beira. Clidna clenched her teeth and shouted out, "Gone, Beira! She's gone, and she's not coming back!" Clidna moved away from her but then Beira seized her, "You're not going anywhere!" screamed Beira. Cassandra pushed her hand away, "Get off me!" She exclaimed, Cass turns away from her. "You cannot handle this!" shouted Beira. Clidna turned back to her, "Oh, I can't? I'm the one messed up, you're the one who is the cause of all that I am!" She bellowed, and stormed off. "CLIDNA!" Her stepmother shouted.

Meanwhile, the memories in Aynia's mind were played in her mind over and over again but more has expanded: That night, while in the garden, Clidna and Shovon lied together and fell asleep. While they slept; Shovon woke up as he is gagged and try to escape but was stabbed over and over again. Early in the morning; Clidna woke up to find Shovon was gone. She assumed he was gathering breakfast but then she noticed a strange thing red marks in the grass. Clidna followed the trail and stopped to make a terrifying discovery: Shovon's body was found all masses of blood over him, lifeless he was. Clidna screamed, tears streamed down her face and picked up his body; craddling it before going into the Village of Corbenic. During that time, Beira told the villagers to do what she told them to do. She shouted out, "HELP!!!! HELP!!!! HELP!!! SOMEONE HAS BEEN MURDERED!!!!" The crowd responded back, "There she is! The witch that put a spell on this boy!" They grabbed Clidna, who dropped the body of her lover, as she was whipped many times, tied her arms to her sides as they spin her and threw fruits, vegetables, and raw meat at her while laughing at her misery. It was so excruciating for Clidna, she could not cover her ears because her hands were tied up. The laughter, it was so loud and it was a lot of guffawing. "Make it stop, make it all stop!" Clidna thought. Later, Clidna learns the woman who was turned into a monster was a former friend name Sabia Nodens. She remembered seeing Aynia discovered the body of a woman found in her abandoned old house, she looked as if she had died from starvation and was surprised when she woke up with a frenzied as she was alive after all. She had been turned into a creature. There was bite marks on her and blood dripped down her mouth. Aynia managed to get away from the woman but as she clutched her bony skin. Then, there was a name by the name of Jane Pyxis, who was part of an experimented that her parents were blackmailed to. A girl sat in the bottom of the old dark well waiting for her parents to return. It had been hours since she had seen them and her stomach had begun to toss and turn from hunger. She hoped that when they came back they would be able to get her out. Some shuffling and noises going on above ground caught her attention, "Jane," Her mom’s voice call out. "We’re back honey." Her parents peered over the lip of the well. Jane’s father winced as he looked down to his daughter. She saw that her mother had been crying. Her father mustered up enough strength to speak. "We brought you some dinner. We know you’re probably hungry." Her parents struggled with the body of a man before they tossed it down the well to their daughter. The water level in the well was very shallow and the snapping noise that the man’s legs made when he reached the bottom startled Jane a bit. She could see that he was still breathing and semi-conscious, but she was so hungry. She looked back up to say thank you and ask her parents if today was the day she could come out of the well, but they were already gone. Jane could hear her mother weeping as her parents walked back into the house. And Clidna discover that Beira and her sisters had put Eitr in the ocean, where it reached the beach. Eitr was a deadly acid substance that would burnt the flesh of other people however Beira, Ernmas, and Maeve didn't care about innocent lives. All that mattered was to make more monsters from the experiments.
"It's burning," A little boy said, cupping some of the water in the palm of his hand. "Of course it is son," His father chuckled. "You know the sun is beating down." Then, the boy exclaimed: "The water feels funny, daddy!" and flung the offending liquid onto the sand. The father came over and knelt down, leaving my paperback on the beach chair. "Daddy! The water, somethng is wrong!" The father could see tears forming in his son's eyes. "It's okay, son." The father said, as he took his little hand and felt the wetness of the ocean water on my fingers. It was warm, and tingled. The tingling increased and the warmth turned to a heat. The boy began to cry. And then, from down the beach, the father heard a scream. "OH MY GOD!!!" The father exclaimed. The man stood and squinted through the bright sun reflecting off the sand. The scream was joined by others from all around me and he could feel the terror of everyone on the beach becoming one rising wave of panic. He saw a young girl run in with the surf, screaming, her skin melting over her bikini. A portly man in a swimsuit ran in the water and fell. When his arms came up they were bone to the elbow, with great flaps of dissolving skin hanging like cloth. A young man pulled his tiny daughter in by the arms, dragging behind her the stumps that had been her legs. The father watched them come in, running, thrashing, falling, all of their skin melting from their horrified faces and revealing the white bone beneath. There were four test subjects also had large portions of muscle and skin torn away from their bodies. While the heart, lungs and diaphragm remained in place, the skin and most of the muscles attached to the ribs had been ripped off, exposing the lungs through the ribcage. All the blood vessels and organs remained intact, they had just been taken out and laid on the floor, fanning out around the eviscerated but still living bodies of the subjects. They continued to scream to be left in the chamber and alternately begged and demanded that the gas be turned back on, lest they fall asleep. One of the subjects died from having his throat ripped out, another was gravely injured by an artery in his leg severed by one of the subject's teeth. When heart was seen to beat for a full two minutes after he had bled out to the point there was more air in his vascular system than blood. And the girl that was dragging herself away? Well, that girl was by the name of Aibell. She was being tortured by Beira, who wanted to make her a monster but instead, the girl tried to get away however her arms were cut off by Beira. The girl managed to escape, looking for help. Until Aynia saw her. Emerging from the doorway. Hollow eyes. A flayed mask for a face. Ruined, fingerless hands, reaching forward. And so much blood. Aynia had stumbled back two steps, nearly falling over, before something in her brain kicked in and she sprinted for the elevator. Behind, she heard it croaking. And the scraping. Dragging itself after her. Aynia didn’t look back. She punched the elevator button over and over and over. Scrape. Then, mercifully, the doors opened, flashing a ray of light into the hallway. Aynia dashed in, hitting the wall, nearly weeping in relief. Then she realized that she hadn’t closed the doors. It was still crawling on. Inch by inch. Toward her. Aynia smashed her fist on the close button, and prayed. The last thing she saw before the doors closed were its eyes. Bloodshot. Lidless. Staring straight at her.

Going back in reality; Clidna looked at the names that Aynia fought and realized Beira had sent them after her! She begins to recall times that Aynia had encountered them each: Groggy Aynia went to the window and shut it before going back to sleep but felt something strange was happening. She pulled out her gun from under her shirt and looked upto see a ray of light that irradiating. Aynia nearly jumped when she saw eyes looking back at her, they weren't regular eyes. They were black and creepy as they bore into her horrified face. The person with those eyes stepped out and revealed to have a long, horrendous smiled across his face, Aynia stared back with frozen fear on her face. The figure of a man stood watching her and said something of a way a maniac would say: "Shhh! Sleep my pretty thing." Then, the man pulled out a knife and aimed at the agent's heart. He jumped on top of the bed but Aynia fought back as they begin rolling around with Aynia kicking and punching. The man threw the knife, trying to aim it at her heart but instead, the sharp blade went into her shoulder. Just then, there was a knock at the door and a loud voice went: "This is the police, what's going on?" The killer turned and ran down the hallway, he went to the back door and broke it opened. Aynia watched him go as she would never forget those eyes looking at her, nor that grin on his face. Aynia told the police what had happened and they were still looking for the killer, she learned that the killer's name was none other than Chester Grindylow. Everywhere she goes, Aynia could see this tall, slender, horrible and faceless creature. It was beginning to haunt her dreams as it all it ever does is stand there, watching. Agent 146 feels watched, like she's not alone. Aynia research on it, this thing wasn't natural and learned about it the creature who is called 'Tall Man'. "Who the hell is a Tall Man? Could this be the stalking creature?" wondered Aynia. She was beginning to feel uneasy however she had to know somehow. She did some research on the Tall Man and digged up some research on the related cases about him. Aynia heard a loud thud as her light went out as she saw something cast a shadow in the total darkness, she could see the outline of a man and he wore a suit. He reached his arms up which turned into tendrils as they draped over the agent, covering her eyes before she fell unconscious. Aynia woke up with a gasp, looking arond as her light was on and sighed. She decided to research on the Tall Man even more and learned that his name used to be known as Noppera Kaufmann. On that night; Aynia was returning home and was trying to get some sleep when she turned and gasped at the sight of a naked man, or a large hairless dog of some sort. Its body position was disturbing and unnatural. For some reason, the agent was not instantly frightened by it, but more concerned as to its condition. Aynia scrambled around her bed and was completely silent for 30 seconds, looking at her. It placed a claw-like hand on her knee and ran out her room.

Out of the house. Aynia was trembling as she couldn't sleep that night. She went to see her neighbor, where she saw a familiar creature in the window, hunched over and crouching while covered in blood. Aynia barged the door opened and went in but the creature got away! It ran out of the house, as Aynia rushed over to help her neighbor, who spoke his last words before he died: "He is....Rakshasa, they call him 'Rakshasa'." Aynia looked up and was shocked to see that the dog-man creature was staring at her before scampering away! Lewis Sypher grew up with several mental disorders during his childhood, making it difficult for him to fit in with other people. He was constantly bullied by his classmates for his tics and was ultimately deemed unsuited for a public school surrounding, so he switched to homeschooling. Although he received plenty of support from his mother and older sister Verona, his father lost himself to alcohol, drugs and gambling, and started abusing his family. When Lewis was 17, he and his sister were involved in a tragic car accident resulting in Verona's death. Lewis's symptoms started to worsen because of this; he lost his appetite for food, slowly began to lose his memories, and became even less social than before....Well, Lewis wasn't after her but still, he was abused by Beira. Aynia became very paranoid and she felt like something bad was about to happen to her. She could feel it. And it's giving her deja-vu as it seems. While walking; Aynia was scared to see small animals lying dead on the ground bleeding. She had a shocked and saddened look on her face however she kept moving as she begins to walk a little more with that worried look. As she kept moving, there were more dead animals as Aynia moved past them looking more and more worried She was shocked to see how they all died in rather gruesome ways; a puppy was hanged on a tree with what appeared to be his viscera hanging out, a kitten had all four of his limbs torn off and a bunny had his eyes gouged out and his throat slit. Aynia was running up a hill and then she stopped, there was a dark figure. Aynia walked closely toward the man. In a split second, Aynia saw the figure facing towards her with his eyes open and they were black with those red glowing pupils. He laughed as he said, "Hello Aynia. Do you want to play with me?" Aynia ran, looking scared out of her wits. Suddenly there was a creepy laugh, Aynia was seeing flashes of the creature popping everywhere, again with those eyes. He was behind Aynia slowly gaining up on her running! This time he had the most deranged looking grin on his face, he looked as though he was enjoying the torment he was giving Aynia as he gained up on her. Aynia tripped and laid there and started crying. But then the man appeared right in front of her and Aynia looked up in horror. Blood started to come down those blackened eyes of the man's as a grin slowly grew from his face as he looked down at the horrified girl.

Just in a split second the man lunged at Aynia who let out a loud screeching. She wakes up in horror as she learns it was a bad dream and goes back to sleep. In the second nightmare, Aynia who looked afraid and a little unnerved. Then there was that maddening laugh came again. She begins to think, "This is just like my dream!" Aynia saw several bloodstains on the ground as she looked nauseated walking down this blood-stained road, still she kept going. As Aynia ran, the man appeared right in front of her with those eyes again, "Found you!" He said. Aynia tried to punch the creature, but the creature vanished in black smoke. Then the man appeared behind Aynia again and again, and the creature vanished again laughing. Aynia was panicking even more, she then fell to her knees and clutched her head sobbing. The creature lunged at Aynia who let out a distorted and terrified screeching. Again; Aynia woke up in terror and fell asleep. In the third nightmare; Aynia was walking down a hallway. The floor was shiny and checkered, the walls were a dark grayish purple with animated candlelight’s and a few dark bloodstains here and there, and there was a dark red curtain hanging above on the top part of the screen door. Then, the red curtain sways very slowly. Aynia didn't look entirely nervous like the other two dreams but she did have a suspicious look on her face as if she was just a bit paranoid. She went down a long flight of stairs leading downward, she seemed unsure of herself, though she pressed onward. Down the steps, Aynia noticed that the walls have gotten darker and more reddish; the red torches are now an eerie blue. The walls turned more dark red and the torches were a black flame now. Suddenly, the creature in black popped right in front of Aynia. The creature appeared before Aynia, startling her. "WHO ARE YOU?" demanded Aynia. The creature leans over and whispered, "I am every human's worse nightmare.. You bitch." It laughs and lunges at Aynia, who fights back. Clidna came to the rescue and took down the creature. Saving Aynia's life. It was over...Or was it? That night, there was a knock at the door. No one there. When she turned around, Aynia saw this guy was in her living room. Aynia tried to run out her back door. She only succeeded in falling to the ground. He looked down at her, held his bag out, and said, “Look in here, my darling.” When Aynia woke up; it was all a dream.

But the worst was yet to come for what had in store for everyone else: It all started with a tanker accident. It was all over the news. Everyone thought it was just another oil spill. There were plenty of volunteers. Plenty of people wanting to help the poor defenseless animals. Plenty of victims. Within hours of the tanker accident, it started happening. The animals had gone crazy, they were scratching and biting the clean up volunteers. Rescue workers were still trying to get the crew out of the ship. They could hear screaming inside. Screams to open the doors. But that’s when it all went to hell. As soon as they cut the door out. There was 6 minutes of broadcast before it went silent. 6 minutes of screaming and agony. The ship crew attacked the rescue workers like rabid baboons. Breaking bones and tearing flesh. The people on the shore weren’t fairing any better. Those that had been attacked by animals were attacking everyone else. It was worse than any war zone report, it was sheer brutality, and yet the broadcast still went on for 6 minutes. 6 minutes and then blank faces. Nobody could explain what was happening. They tried to continue with regular news, the economy, the weather, a cute human interest story, but they couldn’t make us unsee what we saw. But there was one reason and that was the cause of an experiment with the creation of monsters. The memories were overloading her brain and she couldn't help but feel like her sister. Etain has moments like these but this was too much to deal with all these flashbacks in her mind: Aynia discovered the body of a woman found in her abandoned old house, she looked as if she had died from starvation and was surprised when she woke up with a frenzied as she was alive after all. She had been turned into a creature. There was bite marks on her and blood dripped down her mouth. Aynia managed to get away from the woman but as she clutched her bony skin, she could see inside her mind: She was chained at the wrists and ankles, shackled to a metal bar that was secured to a concrete wall. Locked in a small, soundproof room, hidden behind her ex-husband's laundry cupboard. He set up a small television in there, running a news channel at all times, so she could see all of the reports about her missing self. The woman was growing weaker every day without water or food, but he would be back soon to beat her, and that's when she would make a break for it. The woman had a plan to get out, it wasn't foolproof but she had to try. She still had hope, that's all that mattered in those moments. That was, until the woman saw the reports that her ex-husband and the prime suspect in her disappearance, had been found dead in his home. They had already come to inspect the scene and take away his body, packed up and left. The woman was all alone now, with no chance of escape. She had no hope left. Aynia lets go as she was awestruck with what happened and managed to slaughter the woman out of mercy. After burying the woman creature's body; she left the house but came across another home of where children and their babysitter was laid there in their own blood. She touched their bodies and learned what happened: A few years ago, a mother and father decided they needed a break, so they wanted to head out for a night on the town. They called their most trusted babysitter. When the babysitter arrived, the two children were already fast asleep in bed. So the babysitter just got to sit around and make sure everything was okay with the children. Later that night, the babysitter got bored and went to watch TV, but she couldn't watch it downstairs because they did not have cable downstairs. So, she called them and asked them if she could watch cable in the parent's room. Of course, the parents said it was OK, but the babysitter had one final request... she asked if she could cover up the taxidermy statue outside the room with a blanket or cloth, because it made her nervous. The phone line was silent for a moment, and the father who was talking to the babysitter at the time said, "Take the children and get out of the house... we'll call the police. We don't own a taxidermy statue."

On the news, there was reports about a boy that was killed by a strange creature. Aynia found the body of the boy in the morgue as she absorbed from his skin of what happened: The boy lived in a rented two-floor house. Both his parents worked so he was often alone when he came home from school. One early evening when the boy came home the house was still dark. He called out, “Mom?” and heard a voice say “Yeeeeees?” from upstairs. He called his mom again, and again got the same “Yeeeeees?” reply. He felt she was calling back at him and climbed up the stairs. When he reached the first floor he called her once more and the voice “Yeeeeees?” came from the furthest room. The boy felt both uneasy, but also felt a strong urge to see his mother, and started to walk towards the room. But just as he was about to open the door into the room he heard the front door downstairs open and his mother come in, carrying a lot of shopping bags. “Sweetie, are you home?” The mother called in a cheery voice. Hearing her voice made the boy feel instantly better and he turned back to go downstairs at once… but not before he had a quick glance towards the room. While he watched from the top of the stairs, the door to the room slowly opened a crack. For a brief moment, he saw something strange in there. A pale face, staring at him with an amount of teeth. Gasping, Aynia lets go and she runs off before anyone else could discover her. While running, she found the body of a man as he looked as if he had been eaten in a way and he was bleeding so much so with one touch on him, Aynia could see inside the corpse's mind: A girl sat in the bottom of the old dark well waiting for her parents to return. Aynia lets go and gasped as she took the body and reported to the blue blood fairies about how there's something strange going on here. The blue bloods brushed off her concerns and took the body to the morgue.

That night; the elevator door opened and Aynia stepped out. The lights were out, for some reason. Walking to apartment unit to deliver a package to the room was somewhere further down, near the end. Aynia began walking, eyes turning involuntarily to each passing doorway. Then she heard it. Scraping. Dragging. And a noise that she convinced herself was due to an old air-conditioner unit starting up. Until Aynia saw it. Scrape. It was still crawling on. Inch by inch. Toward her. Aynia smashed her fist on the close button, and prayed. The last thing she saw before the doors closed were its eyes. Bloodshot. Lidless. Staring straight at her. It’s been three weeks as Aynia looks at the newspaper reports that the girl had crawled on her stumps, bleeding gallons, dying only inches away from the elevator door. The scream was joined by others from all around him and he could feel the terror of everyone on the beach becoming one rising wave of panic. The little boy was crying. From high above, the sun beat down on the beautiful white sand of the beach. Now it was covered of blood and bones. And people were brought into a van as they were never seen again. In this memory in her head; Beira had sneaked off as she saw all the animals calm and cool before she made them go insane by an injection. Next thing that happened, they were scratching and biting the clean up volunteers. The creatures called Dearg Due! "UGH! How many more people is she putting at stake? And how did I saw her do....?" Aynia said to herself, but then she stopped as she realized what had happened. She discovered that she has another power....The power of premonition, to see what has happened now or sometimes happened that is coming up. And see things to expand more on the perspective view of others, "How is this happening? What the hell is going on with me?" thought Aynia.

Then she remembered those visions of those girls: Light pours through the window, the girl push herself away from the deranged psychotic killer. She's scared our of her wits and she wanted out of this place, The killer just chuckled seeing her expression. He was happy that he could scare her. This female victim have irritated him quite a lot, but strapped in this straightjacket he didn't have much to do, rather than wait for the rescue personnel. The girl looked around the room, to try and find something that would help you get out, but she knew there was nothing as such, otherwise she would have escaped long before. She was about to give up when she heard voices calling her name, she responded shouting and soon people broke in the room she was in bringing her and the killer out of there, she was soon taken away from there following a brief interrogation as she met her worried family and friends. The girl was taken back home, and after she freshen up and she sits down on herr couch to watch some TV. But she becomes horrified as she comes to learn from the news that the killer has escaped killing three people in the process and injuring many. People were being informed and were told to stay inside there houses with their doors and windows properly locked. The girl rush back to her bedroom to check the window. The girl sighed when she found her window was locked securely. She plopped down on her bed as she wanted to sleep now only to be jolted awake by a shuffling sound near the foot of her bed. She looked in front of her to see the infamous killer smiling evilly at you with his knife raised above his head, he swiftly pressed the blade against her throat as his other hand clasped her mouth, muffling a scream. The girl stare at him wide-eyed, shaking as she waited for his next move. The killer chuckled seeing her, coarsely dragging the knife along her throat, slitting it open. He chuckled as life slowly drew away from her eyes and her lifeless body slumped into the pool of her own blood. He sighed happy with his own work as he wrote on the walls with your blood, 'FEAR'. He walked up to her lifeless body and sat down beside it, "Well Janice, you had this coming, you made such a good kill! You were perfect for my next prey! I loved that fear in your eyes! That is why I decided to kill you first as my prey after my long entrapment! Congrats!" He said laughing maniacally to himself as he climbed down her window walking in the dark of the night as he looked for his next victim. On the news; the reports are in about the death of Janice Rowe, who was held hostage by the killer. Now, another girl has been kidnapped. Her name is Lindsey.
The masked guy lunged at her hearing her question, he pinned her against the floor, "What I feel is unexplainable." He said in a husky tone. His tone made the girl shiver. She was scared of him, very much. He was menacing enough to make tears run down her cheeks. She trembled under him, causing him to just smirk. "Please, let me go. Please." The girl begged. The masked guy tsked through his mask, "I can't seem to let you go Lindsey." He whispered in a needing tone filled with raw hunter instinct. Her sobs became louder as she was afraid of him. She tried to move against his grip only to have him black her out. The girl woke up tied to an operation table. She panic trying to break herself free. She hear a faint chuckle from the corner to see The masked guy leaning against a wall, sitting on the floor, reading a book. "Please let me go." She said crying again. The masked guy got up from his place and walked towards her. The girl scream sharply at the pain as she slowly slid off into darker abyss as the blood slowly drains out of her. Again, sunlight poured through the window, The girl  looked at the deranged killer as she waited for her answer. The killer was pacing back and forth in the room trying to find a way out of this place. "Mr. Killer-boo!" The girl purred making the infamous killer slightly cringe in disgust, "Don't call me that you woman" He shrieked as he tried frantically to yank off the plank from the boarded window. The ditzy girl pouted slightly, "Why can't I, Mr. Killer-boo?" She asked earning another growl from the killer. "I swear if you don't stop calling me that then I am going to kill you" He spat at her as he yanked off the plank from the window. "Ooohh!" She exclaimed somehow excited by what he said. The killer shook his head as he yanked off the last plank from the window, "Finally" He muttered as he tried to jump off the window, he was stopped by her pulling him by his wrist. "Don't leave me here Mr. Killer-boo!" She said hugging his arm. "That's it!" He snapped and pushed you to the ground, pinning her. The lovestruck, ditzy girl was taken aback but she blushed deeply as you thought he was going to kiss her, she closed her eyes and pushed her face forward. Seeing her made the killer sick in the stomach, he growled as he fished out the pocket knife she had with her from her pocket and he slit her throat harshly. She opened her eyes in shock as to what happened now clearly afraid of him, she started to back off of him which made the killer smile with a malicious intent. He crouched to her softly and stabbed her heart, she screamed loudly and slowly fade into darkness. She opened her eyes slowly to find herself in your room, your wounds treated and bandaged. She tried to sit up only to meet with pain, she laid back down and closed her eyes. The girl shivered thinking about her encounter, even though frightful, a blush seem to creep to her face. "Mr. Killer-boo." She said out loud chuckling softly. "I thought you had your lesson woman." The killer's voice boomed near her ears making her jump, she looked at him with fear in her eyes as he leaned close pressing the cold blade against her bandaged throat, drawing blood from the fresh wound. "But apparently not." he said looking at the girl, as he harshly pulled the knife at her throat, she tried to back away but couldn't.....Then, it expands more in the memories as she learned what the guy looks like.

It was coming in her mind, like a photo developing....The killer was a skinny teenager and has pale skin, moppy black hair and lavender eyes. He wore a hoodie, a shirt, and jeans. He wore shoes too. And a scar on his neck. He had a psychotically smirk on his face. Then there was a vision: He was walking until he stopped in front of figures that Aynia couldn't see clearly or identified. The guy said to them, "It's time." The others nodded, smirks on their faces and their leader laughed maniacally. Aynia awoke from the vision as she realized what is about to happen.

Chapter 6: The Terror from Within

Madness. It was madness, insanity. Cassandra and Gigi were on a small boat where they made a grisly discovery. There was people, all in various states of dismemberment. Most of the people were torn apart; one torso floated without limbs near two collided ships. The women on the other hand, seemed to have died from blunt trauma in the crash. And Cass saw a man beating his wife. He hits her again, harder this time. Her head rocks back; her eyes roll wildly. A wet gagging sound slides out of her leaking red mouth. She spits two molars onto the carpet. "YOU MONSTER!!!!!" He shouted. They found him murdered. Cass let go as she begin to feel increasingly troubled. She managed to calm herself down as she and Gigi had to dig deeper. Then, Cass had a vision as she learned that they were once human: The three subjects were males, 22, 23, and 29.

Their eye colors have changed to pure black, and they were bloodshot. There was another vision in Cassandra's mind: Okiku chose the macho looking guy who had tried to attack her to go first. Okiku raised her eyebrows. She shouted that she didn’t do it, and that she was innocent, but Okiku was taking none of it. She signaled at security to strap her into the confinements. She didn’t bother to warn her. Slowly, Okiku took out a syringe and a small jar full of bluish-yellow liquid. She closed the box then unscrewed the jar lid, sucking out a syringe-full of its contents. "No, please, don’t do this to me-" Okiku walked closer, showing her that she was uninterested. Then Okiku ran over to the laptop and started the timer. According to the measurements, she should be dead in around three days. Before they had to turn her body into the body of a monster!

While walking; Cass discovered the body of a woman found in her abandoned old house, she looked as if she had died from starvation and was surprised when she woke up with a frenzied as she was alive after all. She had been turned into a creature. There was bite marks on her and blood dripped down her mouth. Cassandra managed to get away from the woman but as she clutched her bony skin and killed her on the spot. Just then, she had a horrifying vision: "It's burning," A little boy said, cupping some of the water in the palm of his hand. "Of course it is son," His father chuckled. "You know the sun is beating down." Then, the boy exclaimed: "The water feels funny, daddy!" and flung the offending liquid onto the sand. The father came over and knelt down, leaving my paperback on the beach chair. "Daddy! The water, something is wrong!" The father could see tears forming in his son's eyes. The little boy was crying. From high above, the sun beat down on the beautiful white sand of the beach. Now it was covered of blood and bones. And people were brought into a van as they were never seen again. The boy and his father were the only ones left as they went home. The van that took all those people had something that said 'EMERGENCY' on it but in the light, there was something underneath that said, 'EXPERIMENTS ONLY'.

Cassandra, Kintaro, Tsuna, Sarutobi, Kirgakure, and the other recruits arrived at the Gobbstopper Competition and found that it was in an indoor stadium dome. "So, this is the arena of the Gobbstopper Competition. Hmm, cool." Cass said. They stepped inside where the announcer by the name of Tonya, the one in charge, greeted them and got to meet Cassandra: "Congratulations; you made it. How about getting rid of the opponents above you, and aim for the top? And defeat the Harpy Queen?" Tonya asked. Cassandra was amazed, she accepted. Later while in her bunk room of the stadium dome; she laid there as she waited and try to make herself comfortable when her cell rang and she answered it. "Cassandra, your first fight is arranged. Are you ready?" Tonya asked. Cassandra nodded, "On my way." She said. After she hung up; Cass head over as her phone beeped and there was a name in big letters with a computer voice, "ARSENE." and the opponent's  voice appears, "Hit me with your best shot!" Cassandra arrived in the arena and looked at Arsene. "So, you ready?" She asked. "Bring it, girlie." And the fight begins as they clash with one another. Arsene's friends appeared from behind. Then, Cass prepared herself as she waited for the enemies to come before she gave them a sucker punch. Kintaro and the allies were in disbelief turned to shock, they were amazed by this. Cass noticed they were staring and made a joke, "OK, OK, I look pretty so what?" Her allies were really shocked by this before laughing themselves silly by this shocking amazement. Just then, Kintaro's smile faded as he saw a banshee creeping p behind Cass. "LOOK OUT!" He cried. Too late, her heart got gouged again--Again! This time like before; Cass rise, her eyes were hollow and black with red pupils. She had blood coming from the whole in her chest. Her appearance was different: There were short ram horns, her hair became red like mahogany, her clothes matched her hair and her face was pinkish white. She was rising as some sort of undead being who was slaughtering the banshees in order to get her heart back. And she fought viciously. Kintaro and the others watched with amazement, they were shocked by this. They couldn't believe that someone like her would do such things.

Once Cassandra steadied herself; she looked around and horrified of the battle of defeated opponents, alive but unconscious. "Wow...What happened here?" asked Cass. Kintaro and the others were in disbelief as Tsuna was about to say, "Um...well....." but Kintaro elbowed him as he said, "Nothing! It was nothing!" Cass looked at them funny, "OK....I think. Heh, so was I good out there or what?" He said. "You rock!" said Kintaro with enthusiasm. Stunt; Cass begin to smile, "Oh, thanks." She said. "No, really! You should've seen yourself fighting them viciously!" Tsuna exclaimed. Cass almost laughed, "What? I didn't pulverized them." She said. "Yeah, you did! Remember when you're heart was ripped out? You came back to life and took them on....Violently!" Sarutobi explained. Aynia shook her head, "Uh huh, sure." She said. "Don't believe me? Look at the Moneta!" exclaimed Gavin. So, Aynia did as she smirked but then, she saw was herself but it could't be. Her wound in her chest where her heart used tobe and all that rage...That unbelievably rage inside of a girl. "You mean, that was me?" gasped Cassandra. "Sure as hell. Who else would it be?" Gavin replied. Cass placed the Moneta down and pulled Kintaro in a link of arms as they were pulled close to her, "Now be honest with me boys....Do I really look that bad?" Cassandra asked. The two boys didn't know what to say, "Uh....." They said. Then, Tsuna said, ".....No." Cass looked at him with disbelief, Kintaro's palm hits his head and exclaimed: "IDIOT, YOU HESITATED!" Tsuna turned back, "NO, I DIDN'T!!!" He shouted. Cass pushed the two apart as she said, "GUYS!!! Enough, come on! Really?" Arsene raised his head and laughed, "Not bad....For a girl." He said. Cass panted, smiling back. "Thanks. I. don't. I don't know my own strength." She said while gasping for breath. Arsene struggles to get up and walks off. After he got up; Arsene left but said to her, "No matter what happens, fight to the top and never stop, OK?" Cass nodded and Arsene walked out. Cassandra panted, she leaned against the wall as Mongfind appeared before her, "Congrats, Cass. You did it." She said. Then, she pulls out a chair: "Have a seat, I think you're going to love this." said Tonya. Cassandra was curious to know but she did as she was told. Suddenly, a slot machine appeared. "What is this?" She asked. "This is a slot machine that tells you who is your next opponent. They call it the Who's Your Next Opponent? Show " Tonya explained. So Cass sat and looked at the slot machine to see who her second opponent was. Waking up in her house as she went to get a glass of water but felt the wind in her house and realized Ophelia is up. She followed the cold wind and saw the balcony doors were opened. Ophelia was watching over the city, spellbound by it. "Ophelia?" Cass said. Ophelia gasped, startled and turned around before sighing: "Oh Ophelia, it's only you." She said before looking back at the darkness and the city bellowed which glowed of a radiant light. "What are you doing up here?" Cassandra asked. Ophelia gestured for Cass to her, "Come sit next to me, Cass. It's the best place to feel the wind." She said. Cassandra didn't move, "I can feel it from here." She said. Ophelia looked at her again and said, "No, you can't." She pulled her as the two girls giggled. They stopped and looked over at the city, "You should get some sleep." Cassandra said, sounding like a mother. "I can't sleep. I've been up here for hours." Ophelia replied with a sigh. As she was walking back; someone called out: "Hey there, beautiful! Would you like to experience magic?" It was a man in a black, bowler hat and a purple buttoned shirt and indigo pants. He looked very attractive, winking at her. Ophelia shook her head, smiling. "Nah, that's OK. Thanks though." She said. The man in a bowler hat was persisted. "I'll do it for free. Promise." He called out. Ophelia seemed intrigued so she decided to give it a try so she sat by and watched as the mystery man revealed the tarot cards for Ophelia's future: The first one was The High Pristess. "On this journey, you will have the power to see and feel the perspective view of others." said the mystery man. The second tarot was Temperance, "You will make people feel secured." The mystery man continued. The third card was Strength, "No matter what happens, never give up on what's important." The mystery man said. The fourth and last card was The Star. "One day, you will shine bright in the wondrous sky." finished the mystery man, handing her a blue rose. Ophelia gasped with delight, blue roses were her favorite flowers. Those who were watching this applauded with delight. "How did you do that?" Ophelia asked, playfully. "My pretty, it's magic." The mystery man replied, leaned over and kissed her cheek. Blushing, Ophelia said thank you and went away.

Cassandra got up and was about to leave when she was hit with a bottle, she was OK but unconscious. Later, Cass woke up to hear voices: "She awake yet?!" A voice said, almost loud. "Calm down, geez!" The second voice rebuked. "Stop fighting, you guys, she'll wake up scared." A third voice replied. "She'll already be scared, stupid!" The first said. "Hey, what did I tell you about saying bad words to others?" The third scolded. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll keep quiet." remarked the first voice. "I can't believe you talked us into this." A fourth voice moaned. "I still can't believe I wanted to do this." complained the first. "How did you get her in here anyway?" asked the second. "My own way." The first voice remarked, the tone in his voice sounds like he was smiling. "Hey, I know you. You hit me in the head with that bottle." Cass said, pointing over to the crimson-red haired guy. The other guy with dark hair looked at this friend, "What?" He said. The crimson-red haired guy grinned nervously, "Heh, works every time?" He said. But then jumps up in front of Etain, who winced. "But hey, she looks cute, so what's your name doll?" He said. "Doll?" The second guy snapped. The dark haired guy rolled his eyes, "Ah, the word of the day for when you see a cute girl." He said. Cass looked around shy, "My name is Cassandra." She said. The red head grinned and nodded with approval, "Straight forward cool." He said, "Jail friggin' bait. Jack friggin' pot, baby!" A few moments later; Cass got to know the gang as their names are Arsene, Esclabor, Brunor, and Danilo.

How did this happened? Let's go back to the beginning, shall we?

Earlier before....

Long ago in a place of wonder and beauty called Calliopis. Where the sun was shining, the flowers were blooming, birds tweeting, animals grazed food which was enough and plentiful. But in these parts, there lived a little girl by the name of Aibell, Aibell Keener who was once a princess. Aibell's mother died when she was 7 years old however her father, King Finvarra, remarried a bloodless, cold hearted, manipulative queen name Morenna. Morenna was a cranky woman who had aging lines, plump, and pretended to be a kind person when she wasn't for real. She also had an attitude, very rude to Aibell and to everyone else, including her husband. Morenna only favorited her annoying, violent, and word repetitive son name Govannon. Morenna's step-aunts, Sheila and Ileana, were Morenna's sisters. Sheila was an eccentric lady, odd with a dry sense of humor but nice. Ileana was always moody, it was hard to tell if she was in a good mood or not. Ileana was also extremely religious as she tries to convince Aibell about how going to the temple is the way to communicate to the Holy King. But Aibell was told once by her mother that the Holy King will always love her, and Aibell could live the life under His power and live a good life as well as praying to him. Aibell remembered hearing that the Holy King was merciful, powerful, and kind as he treats everyone like his own children. In her lifetime; Aibell was always dealing with the problems of her stepmother and her step-aunt, Ileana, and her stepbrother Govannon. But worst of all; her father Finvarra didn't make things better as he was abusive towards his family, even Aibell. Aibell found solace in flowery gardens and her only friends were the fairies. But there was one person who made her feel right....Shovon, her childhood best friend as they were very close to one another. That's when, they entered their friendship blossomed into romance. It seemed to Aibell that Shovon's brown hair and appearance looked more handsome every time she saw him. The two of them fell in love but Morenna disapprove of them being together and she and her sisters try to break the couple up so many times. No matter how much they try, they always failed. That's when Morenna came up with a plot to kill Mannix. That night, while in the garden, Aibell and Mannix lied together and fell asleep. Early in the morning; Aibell woke up to find Mannix was gone.

She assumed he was gathering breakfast but then she noticed a strange thing red marks in the grass. Aibell followed the trail and stopped to make a terrifying discovery: Mannix's body was found all masses of blood over him, lifeless he was. Aibell screamed, tears streamed down her face and picked up his body; cradling it before going into the village. She shouted out, "HELP!!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! SOMEONE HAS BEEN MURDERED!!!" The crowd responded back, "There she is! The witch that put a spell on this boy!" They grabbed Aibell, who dropped the body of her lover, as she was whipped many times, tied her arms to her sides as they spin her and threw fruits, vegetables, and raw meat at her while laughing at her misery. It was so excruciating for Aibell, she could not cover her ears because her hands were tied up. The laughter, it was so loud and it was a lot of guffawing. "Make it stop, make it all stop!" Aibell thought. It all became a blur as Aibell woke up in a dark place. As her eyes adjusted to the dim light, she saw that it was candles and in an empty cathedral. "How did I end up in here?" wondered Aibell. "I did that." A voice said, there was a blinding light and a giant entity appeared before Aibell. Aibell was terrified to see this but the entity spoke up once more, "Fear not! I have saved you from those savages. I am the High Ruler of the Fairies. My name is Oberon." Aibell looked at him, "Why did you bring me here?" She demanded. "I came to tell you that your stepmother and her sisters had plotted this. They were the ones responsible for the death of your lover. They also caused your excruciating torture." explained Oberon. Aibell could not believe her ears, her stepmother caused this? She had killed Mannix?! "No, it can't be!" gasped Aibell. "And also, as we speak, she and her sisters--including Govannon--had took everything from your father. Every single penny from him and left him poor. And abandoned him." Oberon continued, "Now they are starting a facility with their ill-minded mother." Aibell was so stunt as she tried to process this information, she couldn't breathe. "She did this.....To me so she can get what she wants....?" whispered Aibell. Something inside of her coursed, something like rage stirred up inside. And she let out an inhuman cry, which could be heard from the depths of the Otherworld. Something happened next, there was young, beautiful girls who were barefooted, tattered clothing, and messy haired. They surround Aibell as they kept whispering to her over and over again of the word, "Ladyship......Ladyship.......Ladyship..."

Aibell realized these troubled girls are Harpies as they chose her to be their queen. So, she took the role as their queen...Of the Harpies. Meanwhile in the present; Cassandra, Kintaro, Tsuna, Sarutobi, Kirgakure, and the other recruits arrived at the Gobbstopper Competition and found that it was in an indoor stadium dome. "So, this is the arena of the Gobbstopper Competition. Hmm, cool." Cass said. Just then, Kintaro's smile faded as he saw a banshee creeping p behind Cass. "LOOK OUT!" He cried. Too late, her heart got gouged again--Again! Kintaro and the others watched with amazement, they were shocked by this. They couldn't believe that someone like her would do such things.

Finally, Cassandra gave him a sucker punch and defeats him. Resulting in getting her heart right back in her chest. Cass shook her head, "Uh huh, sure." She said. "Don't believe me? Look at the Moneta!" exclaimed Gavin. So, Cass did as she smirked but then, she saw was herself but it could't be. Her wound in her chest where her heart used to be and all that rage...That unbelievably rage inside of a girl. "You mean, that was me?" gasped Cassandra. "Sure as hell. Who else would it be?" Kintaro replied.

And Cass saw a man beating his wife.He hits her again, harder this time. Her head rocks back; her eyes roll wildly. A wet gagging sound slides out of her leaking red mouth. She spits two molars onto the carpet. "YOU MONSTER!!!!!" He shouted. They found him murdered. Cass let go as she begin to feel increasingly troubled. She managed to calm herself down as she and Gigi had to dig deeper.

Their eye colors have changed to pure black, and they were bloodshot. There was another vision in Cassandra's mind: Okiku chose the macho looking guy who had tried to attack her to go first. Okiku raised my eyebrows.

The vision ended as Cass felt like she was on edge and she had to find out more on what's going on.

In the hour around noon on the next day, Ophelia was at a casino and had to use the bathroom for a moment. Ophelia seemed intrigued so she decided to give it a try so she sat by and watched as the mystery man revealed the tarot cards for Ophelia's future: The first one was The High Priestess.

But then jumps up in front of Cass, who flinched.

Chapter 4: Seventh Sons and Monster Mysteries

Aynia returned for Part 2 in the battle in order to reclaim the title as Jawbreaker Champion. As she was getting ready in her bunk room; she received a phone call. She answered it, "Hello?" Aynia said. "Aynia, your first fight of Part 2 in the competition is arranged. Are you ready?" Clidna asked. Aynia nodded, "On my way." She said. After she hung up; Aynia head over as her phone beeped and there was a name in big letters with a computer voice, "AMADAN DUBHAN." and the opponent's voice appears, "I got magic, alakzam-a-kazoo!" During the fight, Aynia touched Amadan's skin and could see his memories: A girl heard footsteps but she was so scared as she try to stiff up. Then heard something else that was familiar to her. "Let's see what's behind curtain number three?" Amadan said, pulling back the curtain. The girl stumbles over, "Ack! Oh, hi there...Am--Ama--Amadan, um lovely day we're having huh?" She stuttered. Amadan looked over at her, "Looks like you're holding up pretty well." He said. The girl looked up at him, "Yeah, and so are you." She said. "Yes." Amadan said with a nod. Realizing what she said; The girl was flushng red. "Oh, wait a minute! That came out wrong, heh." She said. "You could use a break, maybe go out with me?" Amadan said. The girl looked at him in disbelief, "Now? Tonight? Oh no, I couldn't! I mean, I wish I could but I--" She try to explain however Amadan leaned over and kissed her cheek. The girl is shocked but she says, "OK, Done deal." Later on in this so-called date; The girl was laughing as Amadan was chuckling. "You're kidding, a scandal?" The girl asked. "Just a dirty rumor." assured Amadan. "Dude, you rock my socks!"  The girl complimented. She had to sit for a smile for a moment, Amadan sat next to her. "So, what about you, do you have any qualms?" He asked, he was trying to seduce her and the girl was feeling nervous. "Qualms? No I um--" She try to say. "How about hobbies?" Amadan continued. The girl was lost for words for a moment, "Um, uh hobbies? No..." She replied. "No pet peeves? No favorites?" Amadan said. Eulalie swallowed, "Ulp!" then she responds with, "I like--poetry...spring! An--an--and..." Then she managed to blurt out, "And life!" She managed to stand up and hurry away from him. She was about to skip away however she stumbled and fell on a bush, "Oh--! Ack!" Amadan look at her with surprise, "You OK?" He asked.

The girl was sitting in a flower bush, "No." She said. Amadan was trying to laugh however he admits, "You look better that way." The girl glared at him, "Very funny." She snapped. "No, the flowers make you look prettier." Amadan said. The girl blushed, smiling a little and the two of them laugh. However Amadan got a communication; "Sorry to break this off sweetheart but I--" he said but he noticed that the girl was gone and he went away. In the second flashback; Amadan place his hands around her waist. "Ohh--!" gasped the girl. Then she was against the wall as she was so closed to Amadan in this embrace, "Shit, shit! I'm this close to him! I'm blushing, right?" thought the girl. She gritted her teeth in humiliation: "Get. away. from. me." Closing her eyes; The girl expected something vulgar yet violent however Amadan didn't do that. His warm lips were against her forehead. The girl's eyes snapped open as she couldn't believe it, "What?" She thought. Then she looked at Vincent, who was stepping away from her. "Why did you do that for?" asked the girl. "You said you were Dorothy so I decided to be The Good Wizard and give you my magical protection through a kiss." Amadan replied. Then the girl said, "I'll get you for this, Amadan Dubhan! One day I will!" And then, she walked away. After a while; Amadan sipped red wine as he listened to softened opera singing in the background; he glance over at the girl, who was still unconscious, on the sofa and Amadan placed his glass down to examine her. "Cynical girls done their homework, do they...?" Amadan said, "Black Rose. What are you really? Orphan? Runaway? A pure maiden? A rich girl in poverty? Maybe you're like me, you were shocked over the death of your parents and a monster tormented you until you couldn't take it anymore and wanted to pull the trigger on yourself." He start to trace her lips with his index finger gently, "I said this before...and I'll say it again...Whatever you're hiding, I'm going to find out soon enough." Amadan continued. He was grazing her cheek with his knuckles. Then he noticed the bite mark on her neck, "What is that?" He thought. Amadan glanced at her, "Well, well, well....What a tangled web you weaved. How much lies do you have for me?" He said, "You certainly bloom haven't you my black rose?" The memories ended as Aynia lets go and defeats Amadan! Later on while having something to eat and also napping for awhile, Aynia got a phone call from Aynia on her cell and she answered it, "Yeah?"

"Aynia, your next fight is arranged. Are you ready?" Clidna asked. Aynia nodded, "Yes, I'm coming." She said. After she hung up; Aynia head over as her phone beeped and there was a name in big letters with a computer voice, "RICHIE HOBBES." and the opponent's  voice appears, "Fearsome warrior, beware of me." During the fight, Aynia touched Richie's skin and could see his memories: He was sitting at his desk, trying to focus on the lesson. His short, white-blonde hair was all he could feel between his fingers. He was feeling on edge, the teacher rambled on and on. He felt bored and looked around the room to see a girl staring at him. She had the same white blonde locks as he did and she looked quite pretty. He turned away but then out of curiosity, he turned back to see her was still looking at him, she smiled at her. He glanced away. But before the bell rang, he turns to her who was staring at him. Her small smile grew into a wide and wondrous grin. "Why is she staring at me? Why is she smiling at me?" He thought. This was the story of Richie Hobbes and Mariya. When she first met Richie, Mariya made it seem like she just wasn’t that type to fall in love, and she’s telling him to not get his hopes up because she’s not going to fall in love with him. Mariya scoffed at the thought of love because it’d been a painful experience for her in the past, and she wants to shield herself from that happening again. They’re close to falling in love but Mariya won’t allow herself to love him back. Richie doesn’t want to break her heart, he just wants to love her. Richie hopes to amend her broken heart. They had a fight with one another, which caused her to ignore Richie who is just there to comfort her. Richie can tell the reason Mariya’s so reluctant to love is because she’s been hurt before and she doesn’t want it to happen again. She tries to smile away the pain, but he knows what’s going on. He wants to make her feel better. But learning from Mariya's parents of how their daughter was in an abusive relationship with a lover that wronged her. Richie found Mariya and promises her that his love will be easy, painless, and calming to the troubled past of Mariya. She’s scared he’s just going to break her heart. Richie wants to let her know that he wants them to live it in happiness. "There is just so much you can take before your heart gives up. It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all." He said. Mariya is touched and embraced him, crying tears of joy. She found someone that cares about her so much and she will never be abused ever again. Letting go; Aynia defeats Richie.

Later on; Clidna came by to tell her about the Seven Sons. The Seven Sons is regarding special powers given to, or held by, such a child. The number seven has a long history of mystical and religious associations: seven deadly sins, seven sleepers, seven-league boots, seven ages of man, seven days of creation, the Seven Sages, seven sisters, seven stars, and seven wonders of the world. Aynia is told that is the five people she fought that are the seven sons: Gavin, Bran, Rhiannon, Amadan, and Traian. Then, Aynia has their memories in her head as her pulse is rushing, her head is reeling, her blood is burning like radioactive feelings inside, and her heart felt like a nuclear bomb in her chest. This was given her such nervous and exciting feelings as she doesn't know why. In her mind, she could see the images in her brain: Gavin Robin begin running down the empty halls, he was wearing a schoolboy uniform of long pants and a buttoned shirt. “C’mon, c’mon. I can’t be late. I know I can’t be late but what else can I do?” He thought. But when he got inside, he found himself lost and not knowing where else to go. “Ohhhhkaaaaayyyy, where do I go?” thought Gavin. He felt agitated, “Where am I supposed to find Class 1A?” He cried. “What, you weren’t given a tour? A schedule?” A voice asked in a snarky tone. Gavin turns around to see a tall boy with a schoolboy uniform.  “Yeah, been there—done that pal. I’m Bran Wren.” He remarked. “I’m Gavin Robin.” said Gavin. Bran looked at him with narrowed eyes, “Gavin, huh. Looks like someone’s on a bad start on their first day.” He turned around and walked away with a half-hearted wave. “Later.” He confessed. Gavin watches him go, “What’s with him?” He thought, and then he walked to find his first class. Gavin was different from everyone else: He was kind, laid back but was hardheaded, passionate and impulsive. Gavin was a happy guy while also remaining go-lucky yet never stops believing. Gavin had a marked lack of self-restraint that often led him into trouble, causing both his friends and family to worry over him. His limited self-control extended to his temper, and as a result it was short at best and murderous at the very worst. When sufficiently provoked, his anger could drive him into a frenzy, accompanied by horrific levels of violence. And as for Bran; he is a very honest man. He holds no restraint when it comes to speaking his mind, even when he knows it would not be wise to do so or when it could spark conflict. Bran is also pragmatic: he has a strong aversion to exposing himself to dangerous situations. Bran was extremely hot-headed, easily becoming frustrated and quick to resort to violence when pushed. But both of them are pretty good people despite their rivalry.

It didn't take too long for this rivalry to stir up intensity between the two: There was a lot of competition with these guys. Gavin struggled in the training, Bran smirks at him. "What's the matter, Incomer? Not so tough isn't it?" Bran taunted. But Gavin pushed on, he managed to get stronger. Bran was angry that Gavin went up higher in the ranks by all he was trained for. Bran is stressed over Gavin trying to take the top. The fighting competition, Jawbreaker Battle Royale, was all that everyone was talking about so Gavin decided to sign up as well as Bran after he did. Later; Gavin was walking home when he heard someone walking. There was a lot of rustling and it made him jumped. "Hello, anyone there?" Bran called, seeing a dark silhouetted figure. "You OK?" said the figure, Bran was annoyed. He knew that voice, "You...What are you doing here?" He demanded. Gavin stepped out of the shadows, "You look like you need some help." He remarked. "I don't need your help." Bran snapped. Gavin rolled his eyes, "Look, you don't like me and I don't like you. Let's try to get along better." He said. Bran looked at him, he sighed. "Fine. Whatever." agreed Bran. Gavin nodded, "Good." He replied. Then he pulled out something out of his pocket and tossed him a can of soda. Bran caught it with ease, snapped it opened and drinks it in one gulp. "So, you having a hard time?" Gavin asked. Bran looked angry, "Why do you care?" He demanded. "Come on, don't be that way." Gavin said, looking annoyed. "Why are you pretending to be nice to me?" Bran demanded. "Well, for a sore loser, I thought maybe you need someone to help you." Gavin said. "Ha, very funny." Bran replied sarcastically. "I'm not kidding, for someone as weak as you, you really are pathetic." Gavin said. Bran was about to let him have it but something strange was happening. Gavin and Bran sensed someone was there so he turned and looked into the shadows. "I know you're there, don't be scared." Gavin called out. "I'm not scared." answered Clidna simply. "Then come on out." Gavin urged gently. "Then you'll get scared" asked Clidna. "No, I won't." promised Gavin. Clidna hestitantly comes out of the shadows as she reveals herself. The two didn't look scared, though they did look surprise though. They ogled at her before Bran finally saying, "I know who you are." Clidna looked at him with slight nervousness, "Who am I?" She asked in a cool tone. Bran smirked, "You're the Queen of Fairyland." He said. "Pardon?" Clidna asked, after staring at the two for an awkward minute.
"You're the Queen of Fairyland, I've heard stories about you." Bran said. "What the hell are you talking about?" Gavin asked. Clidna suddenly had an idea, she smiled gratefully: "Yes, I am the Queen of Fairyland. I am Gloria." She replied. "So you are." Bran answered, nodding with amazement. "Mmm-hmm." Clidna fibbed, "What are you guys talking about?" The boys were trying to make a competition to see who would be the best and Clidna becomes a peacemaking as she said, "You two will do great." And left them. The next day, Gavin left his home and is on the way to JBR however he runs into Bran by 'coincidence'. The two were about to argue however things were about to be different. "Excuse me?" A voice called out. Gavin and Bran turned to see Aynia, who was wearing a tank top and jeans with fingerless gloves. "I'm trying to get to Jawbreaker Battle Royale, can you guys help me get there?"  Aynia asked. Gavin and Bran looked back at her in disbelief, this girl was heading towards the JBR Competition? Get real, the two of them tried not to laugh but they agree to help her. Aynia walked with them as she got to talk to them a bit but then, Banshees appeared from behind. Then, Ayna prepared herself as she waited for the enemies to come before she gave them a sucker punch. Gavin and Bran's disbelief turned to shock, they were amazed by this. Aynia noticed they were staring and made a joke, "OK, OK, I look pretty so what?" Gavin and Bran were really shocked by this before laughing themselves silly by this shocking amazment. They thought she was a girl and a weakling, guess they were wrong. Just then, Gavin's smile faded as he saw a banshee creeping p behind Aynia. "LOOK OUT!" He cried. Too late, she is being held hostage by the banshees. One of the banshees looked Aynia over and gouged her heart out. "Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!" cried Gavin and Bran. The banshees were cackling with glee but they wouldn't laugh for long. Aynia  rise, her eyes were hollow and black with red pupils. She had blood coming from the whole in her chest. Her appearance was different: There were short ram horns, her hair became red like mahogany, her clothes matched her hair and her face was pinkish white. She was rising as some sort of undead being who was slaughtering the banshees in order to get her heart back. And she did kill them all, she butchered them. Gavin and Bran were shocked by this. They couldn't believe that someone like her would do such things. Finally, Aynia faced the lead banshee, who was holding her heart so Heart less Aynia put up a pretty good fight. She punched banshee hard and her heart went up, Aynia caught in her hand and placed it back in her chest. The hole in her chest closed up and she turned back to normal. Gavin and Bran could only stare at her in amazement. Who was this girl? Whoever she was, she was nothing out of the ordinary.

Once Aynia steadied herself; she looked around and horrified of the massacre of all the carcasses of banshees. "Wow...What happened here?" asked Aynia. Gavin and Bran were in disbelief as Bran was about to say, "Um...well....." but Gavin elbowed him as he said, "Nothing! It was nothing!" Aynia looked at them both funny, "OK....I think. Heh, so was I good out there or what?" He said. "You rock!" said Gavin with enthusiasm. Stunt; Aynia begin to smile, "Oh, thanks." She said. "No, really! You should've seen yourself tearing apart the Banshees!" Gavin exclaimed. Aynia almost laughed, "What? I didn't pulverized them." She said. "Yeah, you did! Remember when you're heart was ripped out? You came back to life and took them on....Violently!" Bran explained. Aynia shook her head, "Uh huh, sure." She said. "Don't believe me? Ask your magic mirror!" exclaimed Gavin. So, Aynia did as she smirked and said to the mirror: "Mirror, mirror, placed in hand, who is responsible for the Banshee bloodshed in this land?" Then, what she saw was herself but it could't be. Her wound in her chest where her heart used tobe and all that rage...That unbelievably rage inside of a girl. "You mean, that was me?" gasped Aynia. "Sure as hell. Who else would it be?" Gavin replied. Aynia placed the mirror down and pulled the two in a link of arms as they were pulled close to her, "Now be honest with me boys....Do I really look that bad?" Aynia asked. The two boys didn't know what to say, "Uh....." They said. Gavin held up a finger and said, "Hold on one second!" He pulled Bran along with him as he whispered, "You tell her!" Bran looked at Gavin, "Me?!" He rasped. "Yes, you! Just be honest with her. She looked pretty bad like that." Gavin replied softly. Bran sighed, "Fine, I'll do it." He whispered. Bran turned to Aynia and was distracted by her beauty so he stared at her and said, ".....No." Aynia looked at him with disbelief, Gavin's palm hits his head and seized Bran as he screamed: "IDIOT, YOU HESITATED!" Bran turned back, "I DID NOT!!!" He shouted. Aynia pushed the two apart as she said, "GUYS!!! Enough, come on! Really?" Then, walked ahead and then she said, "So, are you guys gonna argue all day or we going to get the arena?"

Later; Rhiannon was carrying flowers of lilies, carnations, and poppies to visit the memorial sites of her siblings. She placed them there, then he brushed the leaves away and starts to speak: "Hi guys. I came to see you, I'm sorry I was busy for awhile. I know, it's crazy." She paused. She thought about the day where she failed to save them. Then, she felt like crying. "I...I should've listened, I just thought I was doing the right thing. I didn't.....I can't blame Abigail or her friends, it's my fault too. I wish I could go back and change it, save all of you. But I know I can't." said Rhiannon. She bowed her head as she wrapped her arms around herself, shivered in the cold wind. "I miss you so much....You were like a guide, helping me. All of you, thank you for everything. I--I really appreciate it." A tear rolled down her cheek, she wiped it away and covered her eyes with one hand but more tears were cascading down more and more. "I don't know, should I say I'm sorry? Should I?" She said sobbingly. Rhiannon fell to the ground, sniffing and crying so nobody can hear it. Rhiannon was haunted by memories of them as she wept bitterly until she found a girl sketching and leaning her back on a tree. Rhiannon spies on her behind a tree, but her breath was soft and heavy which startled the girl. She turned around but Rhiannon already ran. She ran and hid behind a tall tree however someone sneaking and startled her, "Ah-Ha!" Rhiannon gasped, tripped backwards and fell. There was a laugh, saying: "Works every time!" The young man looked down at her, "Well. You're the stalker, are you besotted with the fair lady?" He joked. Rhiannon shook her head, she duck down so no one can't tell if she's crying. "I'm sorry, I was interested in her drawing...That's all!" sniffled Rhiannon. "Down Aiden, chill out!" The young lady scolded, she approached Rhiannon with a smile. "Don't mind him, he's just being...." She stopped to notice Rhiannon was crying as she looked concern, "Hey, are you OK?" The girl asked. Rhiannon sniffed, wiping her tears and composing herself. "It's nothing--really!" She blubbered insistently. "Nice one, Aiden!" A voice called out.

Rhiannon didn't hear the bantering, she was focused on the four. They looked very familiar. Her siblings. "It can't be, can it? They look like them!" Rhiannon thought, tears clouding her vision. Later on, Rhiannon walked down a hallway and looked at the mirrors, she look at herself in the reflection. "I'm so upset of bringing shame to everyone for my actions. I want people to know I am not poised or perfect. Am I warrior? Is this my role in the world?" She thought. For a moment; Rhiannon thought she saw her deceased siblings. She turned around immediately, however she found no one was there. She let out a sigh of relief. Rhiannon rubbed her eyes, "Man! I must be seeing things." She muttered. Rhiannon walked out of the hall and into the outdoor garden. Rhiannon thought to herself while walking through the gardens, "If I were to speak my mind all the time, I would disgrace the entire kingdom." Rhiannon stopped by to the temple, where she looked at her reflection as she said to herself, "When will I reflect my character of the true me? I don' know how to mae myself reflect in reality or my own powers." Someone then whispered, "Release your fears." Rhiannon gasped and turned around, "Hello? Who said that?" She called out. "You must let go of your fears, your doubt, and your hesitation. Do the things you want to do, don't think about what people say. Be yourself, forgive and forget." said the voice. "I don't think I can." claimed Rhiannon. "Try, you can." The voice encouraged. "You don't know--" Rhiannon started to say but then the voice encourage her once more, "Think of your loved ones. They want to be happy and the people that don't know you would like to get to know you better." Rhiannon looked at the reflecting ice in the temple and saw her siblings. Rhiannon begin to scream, she punched the ice and shattered it to pieces. Rhiannon fell to the floor, hands on the ground as they became into fists. "Who am I inside?" She thought. Rhiannon had Nola, Conner, Aiden and Fiachra in her head as this drove her crazy. They were etched in her mind, haunting her thoughts. No escape from this memory. The hurt, she couldn't and she has been depressed about letting someone help her. That's when one day, Nola and the others were standing next to her during one of the ceremony of coronation for another queen. It was pretty awkward with these guys.

"We are standing next to her as we speak." Aiden muttered. Nola gave him a jab with her elbow, "Ow!" Aiden winced. "Shut up! She'll hear you." Nola whispered. But to their surprise, Rhiannon said: "Hi." The four of them glanced at her, "What? 'Hi'? Oh, um, hello there." Nola stuttered. Rhiannon was grinning so much, "The four of you look pretty nice." She complimented. "Thank you. You do as well. I mean, you're beautiful." Nola said, struggling with the words to say. Rhiannon laughs, "Thank you.....You OK?" She asked. Nola laughed, "Never been better, this is amazing." She said. Fiachra nodded, "I wish we would be your knights." He said. Rhiannon couldn't believe he said that, "Me too....Me too....But you can't." She said while turning away. "What? Of course we can---" Conner started to say but Rhiannon avoided their looks, "No, you can't!!!!"  She said. It sounded a little loud and firm, Nola and the boys were hurt as they decided to leave for a moment. But then they hear something in the other room. As they entered the room; the four of them looked around but above them was the dreadful golden apple, which it fell near them and BOOM! It exploded. Luckily; Nola, Conner, Fiachra, and Aiden were alive but unconscious and they couldn't wake up. Rhiannon was in distraught and blames herself as she came to see them asleep. She begin to tear up as she remembered the incident in the woods. She braved the courage to speak to them sleeping as Rhiannon reminded herself that they are not dead. Then, Rhiannon said to them: "I don't know if you can hear me but I just want to say that I'm sorry that I rejected you." She stopped for a moment as she begins to cry then continues while sobbing a little, "I only rejected you because you remind me of my deceased siblings. I missed them so much, I’ll never forget my siblings because I'm so greatly saddened by the loss of them. I didnt get to say goodbye to them which makes me even more upset. I want to see them one last time but I know I can't because they're gone. But I hope they can hear me what I'm saying here now. I remember the loss of them very vividly. I want them to come back. Why did they had to die? To be killed like that? I can't stand going on, they are really gone. They've died and is going somewhereI know I can't get them back. And as I realized that my life will never be the same again because of the loss of my beloved siblings." She begin to sob but then she remembered what Aynia told her: "......The curse has been changed." answered Aynia. Rhiannon looked up at her, "What?" She asked. "According to what Mongfind told me; it is revealed that someone had altered the curse. These four people, who you'll meet one day, won't die but sleep and only than someone who has a heart for them will wake them up." explained Aynia. Rhiannon knew what she had to do as she embraced the sleeping Nola while looking at her with tears in her eyes. "I'm afraid of changing my ways, so I feel frozen, unable to do anything. Please, set me free which I’d like to escape. I want to be  free from my fears and free to create." She said as cradled Nola in her arms. Just then, by some miracle, they woke up and Rhiannon was happy. She hugged all four of them as she changes her mind and made them her knights with Jude Emyrs as the commanding leader.
While she was finished with lunch; Aynia's cell phone rang and she answered it. "Aynia, it's me. Your next fight is arranged." Mongfind replied in a chipper voice. Aynia nodded, "Gotcha." She confirmed. She hung up and head over to the arena. Her phone beeped and on it says a name followed by a computer voice: "TRAIAN PALMER." Then, the opponent's voice responded back: "I will not fall!" Aynia faced Traian and fought him but he was a gentleman and a nice guy. As her hand touched the temple of his forehead; she could see his memories: Traian stirred in his sleep and moaned, then he opened his eyes. My, what beautiful eyes he had. He saw the girl, startled he sat up. "You--you saw me here?" He asked, stammering. "Oh, of course." The girl replied. "I saw you lying there, I thought for a second you were dead." Traian panicked, he stood up and ran off. The girl watched him go, she wondered of his erratic behavior. "Who was that boy?" The girl thought. Later, Traian Palmer returned back to his house. "Hey, I'm home!" called Traian. Then a loud voice blurted out, "HELLO TRAIAN!!!" And then Traian earned a drop-kick. "Yikes! The hell?!" demanded Traian. It was his father who had caused this, "You're late, son! Dinner's at six, have you forgotten about that?" He scolded. "Shut up! I had a hard day!" Traian bantered, the fight continued. The two girls, who was the sisters of Traian, watched at it all. "Oh, c'mon! Not again!" protested Kora. The other seemed laidback and calm about this situation. "Leave them, think of it as a father-son moment." Russhell said. "They always do this ridiculous head-butting." Kora claimed. "You want me to remind what happened last time?" Russhell reminded.  In one split moment when she let go, she defeated Traian.

As she was walking back; someone called out: "Hey there, beautiful! Would you like to experience magic?" It was a man in a black, bowler hat and a purple buttoned shirt and indigo pants. He looked very attractive, winking at her. Aynia shook her head, smiling. "Nah, that's OK. Thanks though." She said. The man in a bowler hat was persisted. "I'll do it for free. Promise." He called out. Aynia seemed intrigued so she decided to give it a try so she sat by and watched as the mystery man revealed the tarot cards for Aynia's future: The first one was The High Priestess. "One day, you will shine bright in the wonderous sky." finished the mystery man, handing her a blue rose. Aynia gasped with delight, blue roses were her favorite flowers. Those who were watching this applauded with delight. "How did you do that?" Aynia asked, playfully. "My pretty, it's magic." The mystery man replied, leaned over and kissed her cheek. Blushing, Aynia said thank you and went away. Little did Aynia know that this mystery man was none other than Amadan Dubhan, the dark fairy trickster and the right hand man of the Banshee Queen--Clidna! Speaking of her, Clidna appeared behind Amadan in a long, beautiful black dress and her hair in a high bun. Her dark nailed hands placed on Amadan's shoulders and leaned over at him, "Who was that?" asked Clidna. "Just a lovely lady." claimed Amadan with a shrug. As the memories faded; Aynia was amazed to discover this as she wanted to get home and get as much information as possible. She bid Clidna a goodbye before leaving. While walking back to her house; Aynia discovered the body of a woman found in her abandoned old house, she looked as if she had died from starvation and was surprised when she woke up with a frenzied as she was alive after all.

It’s been three weeks as Aynia looks at the newspaper reports that the girl had crawled on her stumps, bleeding gallons, dying only inches away from the elevator door. Aynia she realized that something was wrong with this world. "What's going on? What is with all of these monsters?" wondered Aynia. She decided to find out and it becomes more clear that someone has been experimenting on elvens, humans of great magic, and other fairies to turn them into monsters called Dearg Due, who are vampiric beasts that prey on those with blood and flesh. "Oh man, this is bad." whispered Aynia. If she was going to take down these 'Dearg Due' creatures; she had to find out more on the Seventh Sons legend. While looking up on the five she fought; Gavin has seven cousins: Heimar, Nordri, Sudri, Austri, Vestri, Alviss, and Regin. Bran had seven foreign uncles from the maternal side of his family: Hotei, Jurōjin, Fukurokuju, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Daikoku, and Ebisu. Rhiannon has seven aunts: Chastity, Temperance, Sheryl, Visia, Fulanna, Nomusa, and Casta. Traian has seven relatives: Urashimo, Rip, Alphonse, Somnus, Briar, Talia, and Hilda. And Amadan has seven siblings: Aram, Golda, Udea, Imogne, Helen, Bella Venezia, and Hadassah.

There was seven there in their lives but it wasn't the 'magic' part however. The one thing for sure is that they must have the mark, 777, on them. Aynia had to wonder about the other two of the seven sons. "Who could they be? Who were they?" She thought. Then, she discovered something eerie about this: All of the siblings, the relatives, and everything that was named there had died one by one by great deaths that were terrifying: Some died in accidents, some were killed by serial murderers, some drowned or burnt, while others were tortured to death. The person responsible is unknown but some could identity an ugly hag with white-ice hair and blue tint that surround her. The people thought she was a ghost but saw that she was an inhuman hag of snow and had blood all over her, their suspicions were correct. And her face had aging lines as it seemed and she was somewhat overweight slightly. Aynia was shocked, this seemed familiar: "Beira Frost?" She thought. The next day, Clidna came to Aynia as she discovered the possibility of these monsters being created. She discovered it at a beach called Elysium. She explained it from the perspective view of a little boy and his father: "It's burning," A little boy said, cupping some of the water in the palm of his hand. "It's okay, son." The father said, as he took his little hand and felt the wetness of the ocean water on his fingers. It was warm, and tingled. The tingling increased and the warmth turned to a heat. The boy began to cry. And then, from down the beach, the father heard a scream. "OH MY GOD!!!" The father exclaimed. The man stood and squinted through the bright sun reflecting off the sand. The scream was joined by others from all around him and he could feel the terror of everyone on the beach becoming one rising wave of panic.

Clidna was scared, she thought she heard someone's footsteps as she pulled out her pen knife and prepared for anyone who might be coming would attack her. There was a figure standing there, she didn't know who it was. It looked like a silhouette of a man and then a creature. Clidna pointed her pen knife at the remaining figure, "I won't be locked in here with you! Not with you!" She screamed at the figure. "WHAT ARE YOU? I want to know!" The figure replied, "Have you forgotten so easily? I am the madness that lurks within you all, begging to be free at every moment in your deepest animal mind. I am what you hide from in your beds every night. I am what you sedate into silence and paralysis when you go to the nocturnal haven where we cannot tread." After hearing this, Aynia got scared. Clidna explained how she saw that the monsters were floating in their gigantic bio-tubes, suspended in the liquids which sustained them. These monsters could long time consequences on the person responsible for all this. People in this world might be killed if they lost control of them.
