Twisted Faeries--Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Dawn of the Twisted Faeries

The preface begins with a nightmare of a young girl jumps and hides under her bed. The girl sees big feet while sinking deeper into the darkness, the feet belong to the girl's father who is an abusive man towards his wife and children! After the father leaves, the girl sighs and crawls out as she whispers a prayer to God to be free from the darkness. The young girl is 7 year old Sylvia Shea. In the present day, Sylvia Shea is a 19 year old maiden that works for the summer as a sorting clothes person at an outlet store, Tidy Sum Quin, of the mall: Endurr Phantazi. She is working this summer in order to make a hundred dollars a year. So far things are doing well for her and she was happy that this was her first job in such a long time. The people are nice, there's only three boys, and a female job coach that was quite nice to her. 

Thursday through Sunday is where she has a day off but she goes to Ryoko Netsu, where her teenage acquaintances live. Sylvia cannot find her place at Ryoko Netsu and is bored of it with every minute in this society. She dreams of great wonder in a place she might belong, Sylvia has whimiscal, science fiction and fantasy combined at the Enduur Phantazi Mall: She can see her fantasies are inspired by her classic animes: Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Escaflowne, Gundam G Fighter, and Candidate for Goddess. She also finds herself in places based on vacation spots: Marco Island and Club Med. 

In the past; Sylvia was physically, verbally and emotionally abused by her father, Warden Shea. Warden is trying to convince people that his ex wife, Lorelai Falcone, has 'mental issues'. Sylvia has two brothers: The older is Hunter, and the younger is Bruno. Bruno was a humorous, crazy youngling that was almost 13 years old and had always make Sylvia laugh of anything funny he says or does. Hunter, he was different. Very 'caved in' and refuse to go anywhere. He and his sister never got along so much for Sylvia takes Hunter's not responding to her greetings and the two would argue; upsetting poor Lorelai. Sylvia has a Shih Tzu dog name Tibbets, who is an adorable puppy but he has some sort of dopey-like face. 

One day, Sylvia is told that she will be replaced and move to another area. Sylvia was excited, she was looking forward to this! Sylvia is told to go South and she heads there. Meanwhile, There is a fantasy land called Twisted Faeries: Dark, sinister, but also euphoria, bright, and colorful beauty fills the air. Three wisecracking, attractive, and strange girls live there. Alice Littleton is one of them, she is sent on a mission to Sleepless Hollow, a city where the Headless Horseman haunts that place. Alice meets a child prodigy teenager name Patroklos McKnight, a party girl that enjoys drinking liquor is Neon Hawthorne, and an ingenue doll name Vetchling Darlington. An emo-ish looker name David Lloyd and his friend, another darkly looker name Ashton Grayson. Ashton has a girlfriend, Odelia Swanton, and Claire, Odelia's younger sister, is David's girlfriend. 

The Headless Horseman is really Regina Lancaster, who was killed by Alice in self defense, because of being bullied by her so much. Alice and her new crew: Patroklos, Neon, Vetchling, David, Claire, Odelia, and Ashton; They take down the Headless Horseman! Patroklos, Neon, Vetchling, David, Claire, Odelia, and Ashton return to Twisted Faeries with Alice, but not a soul realized that a teenage girl with a glasgow grin and wounds across the temple of her forehead. This young lady is Lucy, she seems to be an antiheroine as she has a weird interest in Twisted Faeries. 

The second wisecracker beauty is Maisie Blanchette, where she is sent to train a troublesome trio. Leon Hart, a laid-back, cautious, and fierce but appears to be charmiastic. His rival, Hero Byron, is display as a calm, composed, and emotive young man. The only female of that trio is Jane Donato, who is a determined, gorgeous, kind, and imaginative. Hero has a crush on Jane, which she finds him 'creepy' for being a stalker! Jane has a monster crush on Leon, which he finds annoying. Maisie introduces herself and gets to know the other trio: Jane is a girl that comes from a middle class family and she seems to be a hardworking girl. Leon and Hero know each other since childhood, their story is very shocking: Their teacher, Jeanne Archer, taught them the art of 'metal movement'. Leon and Hero are orphans, where Leon witnessed his family slaughter by his older brother, Murasaki. 

Murasaki makes his move towards Jeanne however she sacrifices herself to save her pupils and she murders him. With her last dying words, she tells her students to grow up handsome, strong, and kind while also be strong, eat, rest, and be brave. Maisie is speechless as she burst out laughing, she quickly assures the others that she was just picturing it in her mind. She did not mean to laugh however she just seem so scared. Then, she decides to start an exercise, a game called Crying Wolf where a person must have a clump of wool in any of their clothing pocket. The person must be 'wolf' and attack them for their wool. It's a fun and games when Hero takes it more serious and he coldly shows Maisie no mercy! That's when Maisie reveals her true nature: she hand gags Hero as she warns him not to say another word, or she'll kill him. Then, she slits his neck open and drink his blood. After taking several sips, Maisie heals Hero's wound and explains her past as she was attacked by a wood-chucker and his pet wolf who killed Maisie's grandmother as thew wolf licked her blood. In a fit of insanity, Maisie killed the wood-chucker with his own axe as well as the wolf. But Maisie drinks the blood of the wood-chucker off the floor before giving her deceased grandmother a proper burial. Hero is shocked of this story, he gives new respect to Maisie and never mentions this incident to Jane and Leon. Maisie, Leon, Jane, and Hero return to Twisted Faeries nevertheless no one noticed that someone was observing them. She had long black hair, her neck looked as if it had been crooked before. This girl was Carmen, and she has a disturbed interest in Twisted Faeries. 

The third and last wisecracker bombshell is Maria Sophia Erthal, where a yuki-onna name Lady Blackfrost--founder and overseer of Twisted Faeries--is sent to investigate Warden Shea's intentions of bad things towards his ex-wife. She also wants Maria Sophia to be accompanied by Blackfrost's daughers, Kira and Megan, and his childhood friend name Cimmeran Shade. Megan is a carefree, spunky, adorable, and energetic with a hint of mischievousness while her older sister, Kira, is a teenager that cares about boys and other adolescent odds & ends. Maria Sophia reveals to have the power of Aries, where she transforms as she has lamb pointy horns, her ebony black hair turn blood red, and her clothing becomes soft of wool, and she looked fierce with her snow white eyes gleaming. In her past, she got her heart gouged out by her stepmother's huntsman however that's when the birth of Aries destroys the huntsman and returned her heart back in its place--causing her beauty to return.

While Maria Sophia and the others head to the old house of the Shea Manor; they discover the Forty Thieves' secret hideout as they learn two codes for opening ("Opening Sesame!") and closing ("Exit Sesame!") of their hideout. Maria Sophia and her threesome friends use the codes to sneak inside as they find stolen gold, which is from the Armageddon Cult. They escape from the cave with one of the gold and head to the Shea Manor as they find Warden is not at home. They learn that the 'angel dog', Tangela, is no angel: She is clawing, scratching, peeing on furniture, and she has bruises and scars all over her body. They take pictures, put the dog in the cage, and escape as soon as they heard Warden's car. When Warden found the mess; he blamed the Forty Thieves and confronts them but he almost got killed as he escaped. Back at Twisted Faeries; Maria Sophia and her squad report what they saw of the 'angel dog' and give Lady Blackfrost evidence which shock her. Later, Cimmeran Shade suffers hallucinations since the death of his sister, Caryl. Kira and Megan noticed as they ask him if he's OK. Cimmeran claims he's OK, Kira ask if it's Caryl, referred to as 'her' and Cimmeran admits reluctantly: "Yes."

Maria Sophia, Cimmeran, Kira, and Megan return to Twisted Faeries. However, Nobody noticed that someone was watching her: She had severe burns, scars, and looked anorexiclly-thin. She had bags under her eyes and her hair was all a flown. She had chapped lips and looked so pale, like Carmen and Lucy. She was Samantha, the third and last of the creepy girls. She, too, has a peculiar interest in Twisted Faeries as well as her 'sisters'.

Sylvia is seen walking towards her unknown destination, she runs into two siblings: Heathcliff 'Heath' Kissimmee and his younger sister, 17 year old Poppy. They get into jocular misfortunate and it seems to drive themselves crazy however they laugh it off. Sylvia, Heath, and Poppy found themselves on the beach, where they look and see that an orb has washed up on shore. Sylvia picks it up and examines it. The trio watch as the orb floats up from Sylvia's hand, then it glows. Suddenly; A young lady appears: She looks like she is 18 and she had peachy color skin, tenne hair, and wore apricot clothes. She introduces herself as Amber Grant. Amber was sent by Lady Blackfrost to escort them to their destination: Twisted Faeries. Amber, Sylvia, Heath, and Poppy finally arrive at Twisted Faeries, where they are greeted by Dior Loch. Dior is somewhat a snobby chick as she gives the newcomers a tour of this place but Sylvia notices Alice, Maisie, and Maria Sophia with their teammates. While walking past them; Sylvia overhears Maisie's whispering: "Check her out, she must be from Ryoko Netsu, she's a sh**ty freak."

Instantly, Sylvia is repulsed by Twisted Faeries and she is seen hanging out with Heath, Poppy, and Amber only however Alice approaches her as Sylvia rejects her. When Alice ask what's wrong, Sylvia responds with, "Because I'm a sh**ty freak." Alice is shocked and walks away to confront Maisie. Maisie is shocked as she feels bad. Alice, Maisie, Maria Sophia, and the others warm up to Sylvia and her team. Amber befriends Alice, Maisie, and Maria Sophia but strange things occur in Twisted Faeries. The residents are shocked after discovering peculiar about Sylvia: She can read minds, feel emotions as well as manipulate the feelings, control objects with her mind, see things before they occur, smell things before anyone can inhale, taste things before anyone can consume the savor, and can heal fast from any type of injury! Sylvia refuses to speak to the others as she hangs out with Heath and Poppy after Amber joins Alice and the others. 

Suddenly, Sylvia feels some sort of interest however she denies this. After overhearing Alice, Maisie, Maria Sophia, and her phalanx talk nice things about Sylvia; Sylvia seems touched and cries herself to sleep, her heartstrings being tugged at gently. She writes in her journal about how much she likes Twisted Faeries, she jots down the nicest things about Alice, Maisie, Maria Sophia, and the others. But one day, Sylvia overhears Dior and her friends bad-mouthing about her, saying she is a geek, loser, and all types of mean things. In her dorm room, Sylvia has emotional flashbacks of her past back in middle school: Her naive self was fooled by friends that backstab her and betrayed her. She was also bullied by others. Not wanting to make the same mistake twice, Sylvia stop hanging out with Dior. Dior and her clique tried to get her to join them in some 'fun' stuff that Sylvia did not feel comfortable with and she told them off after exposing them for being 'backstabbing b**ches' thaw want to use and abuse 'the weak'. 

Twisted Faeries hears about what Sylvia did against Dior and her clique and they give her new respect. One day, Lady Blackfrost discovers Sylvia's journal and she 'accidently' peeks but she is stunt yet touch that Sylvia wrote those kind things about Twisted Faeries. She reads them to the other residents, much to Sylvia's embarrassment but to her astonishment she starts to belong with these people however nary a soul realize that Lucy, Carmen, and Samantha was watching from afar. One day, Poppy is seen staring at her reflection with painful memories and she screams so much that she punches the mirror and she shrieks at the sight of her bleeding knuckles. Alice sees her bleeding and helps her by taking her to the medics. Poppy lies that someone came in and knocked her hand into the mirror, she did not see that person and she claims she was drying her eyes from the water while stepping out of the shower. Alice believes her and develops a friendship with her. She learns from Poppy of the vulnerability she endured while sexually abused by a pedophile name Darco Princeton. Their mother, Belinda, was killed after she tried to escape. 

While training with her as Sylvia and the others observe; Alice begins to see Poppy's vulnerable, timid nature was just a ruse and she was a sadistic, aroused by suffering, and vows to make Alice tremble. But Heath stops Alice from laying a finger on his sister, Poppy uses her innocent ploy around her brother and when Heath wasn't looking, she threatens Alice. However, Heath had witness her games and comforts her about the pain she went through but Poppy insults him and she uses Heath as a human shield. Alice hears Poppy's cussing mouth while facing her, Poppy says that she's going to look like a corpse--Just like Darco's wife, Jezebel. Heath scolds at her for saying those things about Jezebel but Poppy corrects him that Jezebel watches them with apathy and sadism. Poppy laughs maniacally as she remembers that she killed her out of anger after Jezebal said that Poppy is a 'bad girl' and should be punished by being the new 'toy' for her husband. 

After dealing with her talking and torment long enough, Alice gives Poppy a good sucker punch across her face! All of a sudden, everything became silent until a voice startles everyone: "BURN THE DEMON! BURN THE SADISTIC DEMON! TAKE TNT AND BLOW HER UP!!!!" It was Edward, as he and his friends--The Cloud Cuckoo Gang--just saw the battle and now are scarred for life. Twisted Faeries decide to get payback by challenging Poppy someday!
