Place of Torment--Another Short Story

Hello everyone; Katherine Donovan is back with another tale. This is a variant tale of Dante's Inferno, the unknown protagonist enters a nightmarish realm of Inferno. Enjoy this terrifying tale, it's even better than my other story, Hadephobia. I want you people to know the horrors of Hell in this story, don't go to Hell--Trust in God--Never to Satan! Anyways; Enjoy!

The lucid dreaming starts off with a dark woods, a person walks through it as the sun begin to shine on a mountain and the person climbs up. Further in the journey towards the top of the mountain but then there is a lion, leopard, and a she wolf. The person is frightened and runs off back to the dark woods however they end up entering the nightmare realm of Inferno. In the limbo vivid dream, The person enters a part of the realm, where girls are seen in a chase of an pointless game to get a black banner while hornets bite them and parasitic worms are sucking their blood. The person gets on the boat and rides it across but is horrified to see a leaden, smoky mist and the blazing backdrop against which the person endures a fearful crossing of the river. But he is steadied by a learned voice in his mind  while the boat plough though the water of tormenting girls. One of the girls try to get on the boat but they are pushed back in.

Deep in the lust zone, The Minos lurk around and take the female victims into the chaotic storms, where they swirl into the madness. The person hears soft noise and looks to see what it is. It looks a man and woman kissing in the style of the statue but the woman pulls away to have blood dripping from the sides of her mouth. The man is shown to have two punctured marks on his neck. The vampiric woman turns back to the man and ripped his chest open as she devours his blood and heart. In the next part of Inferno; Girls are seen lying the mud while filth and 'droppings' rained down hard on them. Two girls are seen pushing boulders at one another in a raging matter. Into another terror, There is a swampy river, where a girl is seen being tortured by demons as a person watches her suffering in delight. Girls are seen trying to commit suicide to escape their living hell but they are in deep and despair, they blame God for putting them in a place like this because of giving up on him and on hope, they are seen taking their tearful rage on nature.

The person then sees girls are lashed with whips, forced to lie in a river of 'droppings', are hung upside down while their feet are burning, forced to walk backwards blindfolded, monsters tear at their flesh and cause them to bleed, and walk in circles 1000 times. One of them is crucified to the ground, as the others are forced to walk on her. The girls are giving remedies after they were bitten by vipers in a room, the wounds of the females continue to open and close, & they are suffering of diseases and plagues. The person discovers a well, and goes down to see the girls are in a frozen lake. The person escapes from Inferno by climbing down a ragged fur, which was in the far corner of the frozen lake. The person pass through the center of the earth with a consequent change in the direction of gravity, causing the person to think it is returning to Inferno. The pair emerge in the other hemisphere, just before dawn on Easter Sunday, beneath a sky studded with stars.

As a bonus; Here are the songs that I chose for this project:

1. Nouveau Rituel-Eden

2. Pax Mundi-Stefano Principini

Sorry--A Poem by Me

Katherine Donovan here with a poem that I wrote, it's heartfelt and powerful so I hope you all like it.

Sorry.
I'm sorry that I was explosive,
I'm sorry that I was aggressive and violent.
I'm sorry that I was horrible to you,
I'm sorry that I was selfish.
I'm sorry that I said mean things to you,
I'm sorry that I blab truthful things without meaning to hurt you.
I'm sorry that I was greedy,
I'm sorry that I was rebellious.
I'm sorry that I took out my rage on others without knowing why,
I'm sorry that I hurt you physically and emotionally.
I'm sorry that I made you cry,
I'm sorry that I laugh at you.
I'm sorry that I called you names and teased you.
I'm sorry that I made you unappreciative and being insincere,
I'm sorry that I made up excuses.
I'm sorry that I lied,
I'm sorry that I scared you.

I know I said sorry a lot but what else can I say? "I'll never do it again?" I already said that and I keep doing it over and over again. What do you want me to do? Clean the slate then make it dirty again? I'm remorseful, I'm not perfect. I really, honestly don't know what to say. I apologize over and over again nevertheless, I don't know what to say anymore....Sorry.

Mind Trip--New Short Story

Hi guys! I have a really trippy story that's inspired by famous paintings and I thought you guys would like them. An unseen character is traveling though a dream sequence of scenarios that are based off portraits that are well know, they are surrealism. Please enjoy, and I hope you like it! Thanks for your support. P.S. There's no happy ending, no sad ending, it's more of a cryptic story...kind of strange and confusing but I was inspired by mind trips (I haven't took any LSD pills, don't worry. LOL!)

There once was a woman lying on the ground in a treeless, mostly tawny field, looking up at a gray house on the horizon; a barn and various other small outbuildings are adjacent to the house, the image quickly fades as it now introduces of soft melting pocket watches. a figure as the famous seventeenth-century work in which a painter, thought to be a self-portrait of Vermeer, is depicted with his back to the viewer, in distinctive costume. Next; The viewer finds itself in front of an almost photo-realistic table setting with a slice of ham in the center. The scene is made surreal by the presence of an eye staring back at the viewer from the center of the ham. Terrified; the viewer ran off in a startling matter. Then, the viewer saw a geometric monster type creature and connected to a similar monster. The two creatures appear to be two parts of the same creature so that it appears to be wrestling itself. All over the background and on parts of the monster are boiled beans that look like they are melting. The monster stands on trees and a brown wooden box. The background is a blue sky with clouds, that are darker in some parts and lighter in others.

A nude female figure rises from the back of the head; The woman's mouth is near a thinly clad male crotch, a suggestion that fellatio may take place. The male figure seen only from the waist down has bleeding fresh cuts on his knees. Below the central profile head, on its mouth, is a locust. A swarm of gather on the locust's abdomen, as well as on the prone face. In the landscape below, three other figures are arranged, along with an egg and sparse other features. Two of the characters in the landscape are arranged in such a way as to cast a long single shadow, while the other character is seen hurriedly walking into the distance. The viewer hear something ringing calmly, softly and got a closer look to see where bells float high in the sky. The viewer comes across a horrifying scene: a blood-smeared nude woman, is seen lying on a couch. The assassin of the painting's title, a well-dressed man, stands ready to leave, his coat and hat on a chair next to his bag. He is however delayed by the sound of music, and in an unhurriedly relaxed manner, listens to a gramophone. In the meantime, two men armed with club and net wait in the foyer to ensnare him, whilst three more men also watch from over the balcony.

The viewer turned around but themselves in another horror place. A disembodied face hovering against a barren desert landscape. The face is withered like that of a corpse and wears an expression of misery. In its mouth and eye sockets are identical faces. In their mouths and eyes are more identical faces in a process implied to be infinite. Swarming around the large face are biting serpents. In the lower right corner is a hand print that was left by someone's own hand. Once the viewer panted from that horrible face, they come across Narcissus sitting in a pool, gazing down. Not far away there is a decaying stone figure which corresponds closely to him but is perceived quite differently; as a hand holding up a bulb or egg from which a Narcissus is growing. The viewer tried to get his attention but he didn't get up. After walking away; the viewer saw something strange in the distance as they saw of nearly identical men dressed in dark overcoats and bowler hats, who seem to be drops of heavy rain (or to be floating like helium balloons, though there is no actual indication of motion), against a backdrop of buildings and blue sky. The men are spaced in hexagonal grids facing the viewpoint and receding back in grid layers.

But that's not all; a man in an overcoat and a bowler hat standing in front of a short wall, beyond which is the sea and a cloudy sky. The man's face is largely obscured by a hovering green apple. However, the man's eyes can be seen peeking over the edge of the apple. Another subtle feature is that the man's left arm appears to bend backwards at the elbow.

Clovis (Female Cover of Emblem3's Chloe)

This is a girl version of Emblem3 song's Chloe, I call it Clovis. I love the song Chloe, once again I was bored with same old songs and decide to find some new ones. Enjoy! Warning! Original song is by Keaton, Drew, and Wesley from Emblem3; All rights belong to them.

Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But you're the one I want
But you're the one I want, yeah, yeah

Front page magazine
Everybody says that he's a king
But that's you to me
And I just want to let you know that
He likes the flashing lights
I love the way that you like candle light
Stay close by my side
I just want a chance to show that

(but you're the one I want)
If only you could believe in yourself in the way I believe in you
I-I do
(but you're the one I want)
If only you could see all of the beautiful things that I see in you
It's true-oo-oo-oo

Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But, oh, baby, I have no doubt you're the one that I want (ooh-ooh-oo)
You think he's got it all but that don't make him better (ooh-ooh)
You got my heart and that's the only thing that matters
Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But you're the one I want
But you're the one I want, yeah

Fast lanes, limousines
Baby, there can be no guarantees
But if, you're with me, you know I can guarantee that
Cause I'm attracted to your passion,
Be yourself, forget the fashion
Just keep that smile on your face
You and I deserve to be forever ever lasting

If only you could believe in yourself in the way I believe in you
I-I do (but you're the one I want)
If only you could see all of the beautiful things that I see in you
It's true-oo-oo-oo

Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But, oh, baby, I have no doubt you're the one that I want (ooh-ooh-oo)
You think he's got it all but that don't make him better
You got my heart and that's the only thing that matters
Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But you're the one I want, yeah
But you're the one I want, yeah

All you Clovis's,
All you Clovis's
They don't show you love enough (hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo)
All you Clovis's
You should know that you're my diamond in the rough
It's true-oo-oo-oo

Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But, oh, baby, I have no doubt you're the one that I want (ooh-ooh-oo)
You think he's got it all but that don't make him better (ooh-ooh)
You got my heart and that's the only thing that matters
Clovis, I know your brother turns everyone on
But you're the one I want
But you're the one I want, yeah
(ooh-ooh-oo)
